NEW APPLICANTS READ!!I could write an essay but I’ll keep it short as I possibly can but informative from our experience which is a VERY common experience.. first thing… ROACHES, THEFT, SHOOTINGS, DOMESTIC, CONSTRUCTION!!! We lived here for over 2 leases and it’s gone so far down it’s ridiculous. The crime has gone up tremendously and Ventura hides all the information from the residents. Residents walking their dogs got SHOT and no one said a word. Peoples cars and trucks are left on blocks and shattered windows from robbery and much more. Our whole holidays and Christmas was completely ruined this year COMPLETELY due to this complex. We were moving to an “upgraded” unit in building 1, unit 1420, and there was roaches EVERYWHERE!! I’m not even remotely exaggerating when I say there were HUNDREDS OF EGGS and TONS of grown roaches absolutely everywhere in this unit and they KNEW ABOUT IT. Long story short, we had to move out of our JUST MOVED IN apartment for only 3 days, flights had to be cancelled, hotels cancelled, everything cancelled for our holidays because now we had to move into a family member’s house, FIND a new apartment to move to and move ONCE AGAIN. And Ventura made me pay for a full month worth of rent and gave me a refund of not even half of what I paid them for only staying for maybe 3-5 days… I lost so much money in the month of December because of VENTURA it’s not even funny. And for the management team reading this message, don’t bother with the “sorry to hear this” response because the damage has been already been done and you guys are trying to sweep this under the rug by not putting the correct reason for moving out on our papers and putting BACK UP for rent after telling us that you were taking it OFF the market as it’s INHABITABLE!! For the applicants reading this FIND BETTER!! Seeing some units that are 600 sqft for $1500 is INSANE for a place like this. Moving here is asking to get robbed from the complex and robbed from your neighbors as well.

Apartment is fine. However construction has been NONSTOP. Was told only a few months for the balconies which took 6 months, then came the ugly gray paint on the doors, then they redid the railing by the elevators. Now they are resurfacing the parking lot. I think whoever planned that had one brain cell since they closed more than half the lot and gave no contingency for parking whatsoever. People having to park all over the place just to be able to get in their home. If you like the place and they tell you minor construction for a few months, just leave. The noise and hassle has been horrendous for months on end with the result being gray doors, gray paneling and the same exact patios that were there before. Oh and lets encourage phone use and driving by having to use an app to open the gate. Real safe. And if your phone is dead i guess you’re not getting inside sorry

Don’t believe the 5 star reviewsMy brother lived here for about a year and a half and it was not a good experienceThe water is disgusting, not only leaving water marks anywhere water is used but a nasty yellow film.Hot water in the shower runs out after 10 minutes.So many bugs and roaches even when u call pest control consistently, ( have had some come on to me while I slept)And for over 8 months the balcony was under construction while paying a full lease, leasees should have been reimbursed in some way for the ever long construction.And there are not enough parking spots for the amount of people that stay here.Find another place to stay, not here

It’s a nice place to live. The location and the events are amazing. However, people need to keep hallways clean and the windows need to be replaced. Maintenance does an amazing job. The amenities are great and very accessible. I really feel like if I got new windows I could stay here for many years.

This review is strictly for the maintenance team. They are always so friendly when I see them around the property and helpful when I need them. Shout out to Seth, he was beyond helpful during my last maintenance request and I really appreciate his patience with me as I was already having a bad day! Thank you again for your help.

When we first moved in the complex was in tip top shape 3 years later its gone from a 5 stars to 1 star 1500 w/garage mer month for a one bedroom is not worth it anymore come October we will not be renewing our lease... dont even bother making maintenance request because your request will be marked as complete when the issues were never fixed.Good luck getting your deposit back! I moved out November 13, 2024 my apt was had new tenants by November 25, 2024 per CPS information provided to me, its now December 26, 2024, still nothing in my email nothing in my spam folder NOTHING!

My parents live in building 5. They received a call from the office few months ago asking if they wanted to renew their lease and lock in their rate since they have lived their for 3 -years. They asked for some fixes and upgrades to be made before they made that decision. There is broken floor in the kitchen that has been reported many times and never fixed, there is mold and rusty appliances in the bathroom and the carpet needs to be replaced. It has now been a few months and we have not been given an update.Also, the smell of weed in this building is ridiculous! My parents almost spent money to get a hotel one day last week because the smell coming in from the vents is so bad. This was reported to the office today and they said there is nothing that can be done.

I moved into Ventura Ridge at the end of July ‘23 (it is now almost June ‘24). When I signed my lease, I was never made aware that my building would be under construction for five months. The construction workers are only two months into this project and I was just told construction would be ongoing until July/August. I have no access to my balcony as they have bolted the door shut. I wake up every morning to loud banging starting at 8/9 AM. And, on top of all of that, I am still paying $1,250 a month to live here. There is no type of discounted rate implemented to deal with construction. I have also had a roach infestation here since the day I moved in. The pest control services the apartment provided seemingly did not kill any bugs; I had to bait my apartment myself to kill most of them. But I would never agree to paying this price to be living in these conditions. Even though none of the blame for this falls on the front office staff, I definitely think they should’ve disclosed the future construction to me and every other resident. Maintenance is great, though. Dog park is the best I’ve seen at an apartment. There’s definitely a good sense of community here but it’s no longer worth it to be dealing with all of this stuff.

As a leasing agent of a luxury community myself, the leasing team needs to THOROUGHLY inspect their units during make ready and after housekeeping. Whoever walked my unit, if they even did, did a extremely poor job. Crooked light fixtures, holes in walls, next to outlets, heavy mold and mildew in shower doors, dead roaches in kitchen cabinets and the FRIDGE, a LIVE ROACH in my stove clock , dirty microwave and fridge, loose rubber on fridge and front door, clogged sinks, it is completely unacceptable. I would get written up at my community if I moved a tenant into a unit like the one I moved into. My team and my property management takes pride because we are LUXURY. Isnt Ventura Ridge considered luxury? I have a certain way of living, and this has not been a luxurious experience. Its been GHETTO. For the price Im paying, and for being a loyal resident who has come back TWICE and even referred my sister in law to this property who resides here, I feel scammed. And the fact that I was told I would get a new microwave due to the roach issues, just to get it removed and not replaced the same day, making it impossible to heat up my daughters baby food, but instead, have to just fix her a full bottle for DINNER as if shes still a newborn . just to get the SAME MICROWAVE reinstalled the next day, is completely OFFENSIVE, DISHONEST, RIDICULOUS, DISAPPOINTING, and everything else negative under the sun. I knew it was the same microwave because of the streak it had in it, the same serial number and the grime between the door hinges. What “new” microwave has that ??? i’m offended that the leasing staff thought they could get away with that. I saw maintenance on my ring camera install the microwave again. Didn’t even take it out of a brand new box. I tried my best not to resort to leaving a review, because I thought they were looking out for me in regards to cleaning up the issues that were their responsibility. But lying to me about the new microwave was the cherry on top. And after finally unpacking EVERYTHING and putting everything up , I had to take everything out my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and drawers and put them back in boxes just so pest control can do a clean out. and the fact that they came in less than 2 hours of the office closing and informing me that my 9 month old and i could no go back after 4 hours was so inconvenient and stressful. I didn’t get to sleep in my own bed that night because by the time 4 hours was over , my daughter was already asleep. and then not being able to utilize my stove because a roach was living in it, having to eat out , spend money I don’t have , was just so stressful. This move-in experience has been hell.

What a joke of an apartment complex and management company that owns it. If you’re looking for an easy and painless living experience, this is the LAST place you want to look!It started 2 years ago, first moving into the complex. The apartment was absolutely filthy, dust covered every surface, grease and grime in every corner, and even after showing photos of the filth it was still on us to clean it up as the hired “cleaning crew” had done their part.The prices for the apartments are solely based on location. Aside from that, you get cheap carpet, appliances, cabinets, mirror frames, and flooring. Don’t know where they thought “luxury” would fit into the bottom tier materials and craftsmanship they provide.The move out process is where it gets really insufferable. After having done a thorough walkthrough with Autumn, one of the leasing agents, and her saying “This is one of the best kept apartments I have seen,” there is still somehow a $300 carpet charge for 2 stains they failed to send photos of, and of which were never seen throughout the walkthrough.The best part is, the only way to pay the balance, because don’t even try pleading your case for their charges as they won’t even be bothered to follow through on communicating back with you, is you have to call a 1 (800) number for their management company, who I’ve called over 20 times a day for the last week trying to get a hold of someone, and nothing but automated messages of “All our representatives are busy, please leave a message and we will get back to you” is all you get. This company is notorious for sending remaining balances to collections, the only reason I am still trying every day to get ahold of them to just pay it and be done with it.Honestly the worst living and move out experience possible and if you are thinking of moving here, do yourself a favor and please do not. There are so many better options literally across the road and around the corner. Save yourself the headache and avoid this train wreck of a complex. The only positive would be the maintenance staff, especially Marvin. Aside from that, enjoy overpaying for lack of communication from management, a dirty apartment upon move in, and an extreme hassle and headache of moving out.A few of many, many move in photos are attached.

I loved my apartment when I first moved it! It was my first time living on my own. But now I have roommates, 🪳 ROACHES!!! Even if pest control comes out it doesn’t seem to help. I cleaned behind my fridge, I cleaned my stove, I even hired a cleaning company to help me! But I still have roaches. When I’m coming in from long 12/13 hrs shift from the hospital, I have roaches falling from my door post. This is not cool at all. I’m so disappointed.

. This complex comes with a lot of great perk. We find the maintenance team super helpful and act fast whenever something is broken.Management has been nicer to us since the first day we move here.There is always room for improvement, and the most notorious is to enforce people to pick up after their dogs. When we move in we were asked for a DNA TEST so they could track it back to us if we didn’t pick up. The problem is that recently a lot pf people either are not telling management about their dogs or management is not given fines.

The staff are amazing! Autumn and Donny consistently went out of their way to make my experience more enjoyable.They have always been quick to answer all my questions and the maintenance staff is always quick to fix whatever needs to be fixed. Management consistently throws community events and the grounds are well kept.

Recently attended a pool party and it was fantastic well organized with great music, food, and an awesome complex. Plus, their AT&T rep is top-notch, ensuring residents have great service. Highly recommend!

Beautiful apartments. Wonderful views, amenities and staff! Price range perfect. Dishwasher, garbage disposal, ice maker included. Very nice luxury style pool. One of my favorite places I have lived.

Its really place! Elevators, amazing pool, parking is okay.. not the best. Great location. But what does that matter if there is ROACHES. I noticed them after like 6-8 months of moving in. Honestly tragic. My friend moved in too, I did tell her about the roaches.... and she only been at her place for 2-3 months and guess what!!! Roaches. I feel bad I told her to move here ):

We lived here for three years and had an overall great experience. My favorite apartment I’ve ever lived. Maintenance is always quick to respond, the staff is always helpful, and the location is beautiful.My biggest issue is the parking. It feels very limited and sometimes you’d find yourself walking long distances.We were really sad to leave and this apartment complex was truly great.

Moved in and my apartment had bugs all over the floor. Apartment wasn’t cleaned before we moved in. They don’t keep up with pest control there are bugs biting at your ankle everywhere you walk. It’s hard to take your dog to the dog park because the bugs are so bad.When I moved in Lorena told me my patio was being painted. Turns out they were redoing the entire thing I haven’t been able to use it for months up until last week. She wasn’t upfront and honest with me.There is construction wrapping up here. 3 weeks ago I was walking my dog and stepped into a drainage pipe. It was covered with overgrown grass. I cut the back of my heal open and had to get 14 stitches. I messaged the complex and they didn’t event have the curtesy to message me back. I had to return to the doctor 3 times due to infection setting in. I now have a $3k+ medical bill with no help from anyone here. Yesterday I was able to flag down Marvin and show him the hole. He at least put a cone over it. I’m happy my dog didn’t fall in the hole or my pregnant girlfriend.For you dog owners out there they have been doing work in the dog park. They left exposed wiring out of the ground for weeks. The wires were hot I only know this because we saw another residents dog run into them and they sparked. There was no sign or warning to not enter the park.Ventura ridge does not have their residents best interest in mind.

The apartments are super nice, however the leasing agent Bree-Anna is super rude. Only nice whenever you sign and then when you are talking with her at all after that she talks like she doesn’t care if you live or die. She is so clearly fake. Beware of Bree-Anna!

Staff is super attentive and nice. Maintenance is pretty fast. Living here has been seamless! My dog and I love Ventura Ridge!

Ive lived here for two years and I’ve loved it so far. Resident events are great and the staff is friendly. If you decide to come in for a tour make sure to go with Autumn, she was super helpful and very knowledgeable throughout the whole process.

I have not moved into this place yet but I am so excited! The staff at Ventura Ridge have been so accommodating! Having the option to do a self guided tour was amazing! The staff were able to answer any questions I had and made the application and moving process so easy! The apartment paired me with a leasing agent and an agent to get me internet! Shout out to Lorena and Kayla for helping me out! I definitely recommend living here!

The nastiest and worst place to live. you will regret signing a lease once you live there and the front office people aren’t helpful at all once you sign the lease. BEWARE

I wouldnt even recommend this place to Satin himself!! He is too good for these lying front office people who dont care anything about the tenants. I would love to say more, but the front office is petty. For fear of retaliation, I will hold off on more of an explanation until I move out. Trust me, dont move here. You see what people are saying when they move out.

Would not recommend living at Ventura Ridge due to high theft activity. Multiple vehicles, items out of vehicles, taillights off of vehicles, you name it, have been stolen out of this complex over the past couple months. Not one security camera located on property, front gate has been open for well over a month which is easy access for a thief as well. They do have one camera at the gates but those “only work when the gate is hit”. Outside of that, there is not many other compaints. Management just needs to step up and make some changes or else theft will only continue here.

These are very nice location with nice pools. The did not make sure my apartment was clean before I got key. Mario said he personal walked through it but was on vacation the day before I got my keys but was on vacation so dont know how he did that. They will email you about this like alarm check not do it that week then email 30 minutes before they really do it. I like the apartment but the office manages can not do there job.

Love this complex! management is great they’re very professional and accommodating. Shout out to autumn and Cecilia making my move to TX so much less petrifying. Also the best part is maintenance. Marvin is the head of maintenance and he keeps the place in tip top shape, keeps residents happy and makes repairs so much easier. Usually maintenance is the worst thing about apartment complexes but not here.

My wife and I have been looking in the area for an apartment that is affordable and comfortable and I think we found it ! Autumn was great help and very friendly. She answered all of our questions and made sure we have a great understanding of everything. We are so excited! 😁

Very Nice property! Assistant manager wasn’t the friendliest because of my precise questions, but new leasing agent Monique was very stellar and patient with me. Making the experience great overall! She took me around the property and made me feel comfortable with the new environment. Monique is very polite and attentive, I would definitely recommend her to anyone! Unfortunately I didn’t lease, due to work relocation.

Pros -Leasing agent Mario gave us a great tour and was very helpful in the application process.Single bedroom is not too expensive compared to other places and has decent amount of space.Convenient package holding service, valet trash pickup, and dog park. Pet friendly as well.Cons -Not enough parking space for everyone. Sometimes have to park many buildings away.Construction going on in the land next to the neighborhood causing a lot of dust in the air.Update Oct 2022:Maintenance is very quick and helpful. Marvin was very helpful and professional in taking up my maintenance request.

Lived here a few months now and I have never had any issues. Especially appreciative of the maintenance supervisor Marvin! He promptly answered my request and was super helpful, polite, and professional as he took care of everything I needed. Thankful for Ventura Ridge and Marvin!

All was wonderful prior to the change with management. I didn’t get a lease renewal until 30 days prior to my lease ending. And that was only AFTER I went to the office to inform them of this. Then once I called again, they say I have to provide the 60 day notice. How could that be possible if I only got an offer 30 days prior?? Other than this, no other issue. I will recommend them enforcing the 10pm pool closures. I constantly have people at our building pool early in the AM hours. I won’t be staying here but I hope they get better for future residents.

This place is amazing!! I have really enjoyed my stay! I have lived at Ventura Ridge for about 15 months!! They have a wonderful and very friendly staff!! A huge thank you to Kylie, Lorena, and Stephanie for always being amazing and helpful!! They have a very good attitude and a friendly smile. The apartments are upgraded and very nice and clean. The facilities are well kept and very safe and secure. I am very glad I got to live here - I was always very close to shopping centers, good restaurants, and good all around ambient. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice place. Im going to miss you!!

Kimberly made first seeing the property very easy and answered all my questions thoroughly! They offered me a great rate and worked with me to make the move in process quick and easy! Love my apartment and the amenities!

I recommend this apartments they have very good customer service and Maintenance fast and is always available. The events with food trucks is a plus! I really enjoyed living here.

I call for information and Autumn answered she was very pleasant good customer service help me with all my concerns was willing to take the time to help me out. I will be coming in to check out the apartments and she will be helping me with that. I am so excited to be able to come and meet and be help by Autumn. this just makes me want to live here.

If I could give more than 5+ stars I totally would. Every associate at Ventura Ridge was always been so welcoming and kind to me. I could finally say that I was happy to live where I resided. I will trully miss living here. The location is great, easy access to highway.There are three different entrances here. Recently moved to Ventura Ridge and I feel so safe in this community. It’s clean, around a great area and management always does its best! I really recommend checking them out and touring the property!

I have been highly impressed from the minute I found Ventura Ridge on google maps.I was looking for a place similar to my current apartment that was closer to my office. The website was well designed and clean, and the floor plans appeared spacious and exactly what I was looking for. The location is also amazing being so close to the Rim and La Cantera.I felt invited and welcomed from the moment I walked into the leasing office. Katelyn is a consummate professional! She listened to what I was looking for and even though I was just looking had no reservations about taking the time to show me everything that makes Ventura Ridge amazing. She is prompt to answer any inquiries that I have sent her and when I made the decision to lease, she made the entire application a very easy experience.The grounds of the complex are very beautiful and lovingly cared for, they preserved a lot of the surrounding trees and it gives a nice secluded feeling to it. The view from the clubhouse overlooking the surrounding area is simply amazing. I intend to make frequent use of the state of the art Gym and gorgeous pool.I can’t wait to move in and make this place my home!

Ventura ridge makes apartment living feel like home! The complex is clean and everyone is so friendly! The staff are excellent and we loved working with Lorena. If youre searching for a great place to move too, surrounded by top tier restaurants and easy access to the Highway, look no further!

No key fobs for residents when you move in. They will gas light you into thinking it will be soon, or say they are getting an app for the phone that will allow you to open them “next week”. It has been 3 weeks, so the main entrance is just open for anyone who pleases. They were kind enough to let me know if I want to use any of the amenities, most being 24 hours, you can call them and they can let you in at their convenience during office hours. They have 2 guns that are 24 hours, if you have a key fob, and if you can use broke. Gym equipment that has been broken since my move in at the beginning of October. Maintenance staff is great, office staff is clueless and helpless, or lazy. You can be the judge if you make the mistake of moving in.

The staff here is marvelous, knowledgeable and friendly. They actually keep the grounds and buildings clean. I love the amenities offered here. The club house is beautifully decorated with a coffee bar & pool table. The dog park is huge. Overall its a wonderful place to live close to tons of things to do, places to shop or medical care!

Lived here for many years. Great location…previously a great price. Front office is very nice, accommodating, and understanding. I am not a fan of the valet living service. They’ve increased their prices and service quality has gone down tremendously in my opinion. KB homes owes us all free car washes.

Ventura Ridge is beautiful. Many of the units have great views of the city and the surrounding areas. The staff is great. They made the application process quick and painless. The location is also very convenient. The apartments are right off of I-10 but are set back far enough so you dont get the noise from the highway. Overall a great place to live!

For the most part it’s a nice complex and I didn’t have any trouble except for the constant fire alarms going off, there was a point where it was happening every day and it scared my pets and caused my tinnitus to get worse. I do not recommend for the sole fact that you will get the loudest fire alarm to go off here and sometimes you get absolutely no warning. I did not renew here for this reason.

These are brand new apartments located in a great are of San Antonio. I just recently moved to the city and I am very happy with my choice. It is located near shops, good restaurants, and just about anything you could ask for. The amenities are great and there are garage options which to me was a plus. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Che was awesome and made the experience a very pleasant one.I would definitely recommend Ventura Ridge to anyone looking for an apartment here in San Antonio.

Ventura Ridge has beautiful apartments that are spacious and updated. The pools are beautiful too. I have good experiences with my neighbors. I enjoy walking my dog through the apartment complex.

First my car got stolen then my friends got stolen a month later there is no security cameras. When I went to go ask they said I’m probably in a mix with the wrong people. How incompetent of a response from the staff. Apparently it happens a lot at these apartments and they have done nothing to fix it. Don’t live here!! It very insecure.

When we stopped by Ventura Ridge Apartment. Autumn came up to us very friendly and very helpful when it came to giving a tour of the apartment. She help us look at what we wanted in an apartment. Thank you Autumn

You get what you pay for. The management is nice, the events are fun and the apt layout is suitable. However the walls are extremely, extremely thin and parking is horrible. I get woken up almost every night and morning due to my neighbors non-stop activities. Ive spoken to my them directly about it but they refuse to comply. If someone is playing the tv or radio loudly, you will hear it as well as feel the vibrations. If someone is talking on the patio or partying on the balconies across, you will hear it. Ive called the police about twice throughout my stay here due to noise complaints. You also will hear upstairs and same floor neighbors even if theyre just walking the hall, as well as the stairwell doors slamming non-stop. Parking is good if youre here before 6 pm. Many neighbors and I sometimes refuse to go anywhere in order to not lose a good spot.Other than those 2 issues, the apt is great.

No response from leasing agent after moving in. Apartment was promised as professionally cleaned and ready for move in. Food on and in cabinets, hair in the bathroom, stains on the backsplash, food in the sink, garbage disposal was binding (I removed a screw and drywall anchor), washer seal is moldy, toilet float is binding, trash in laundry closet, and damaged wall in the bathroom. Loraina is well versed with her word tracks before a lease is signed, but clearly unprepared as I had to sign three lease agreements. Clearly little concern for client satisfaction once her commission is secured. Very disappointing.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!Today was my move in and to my surprise I found an apartment that was not completed. All three carpets were completely ruined. One of the bedrooms had the carpet torn apart. I found mold and nasty gunk in my microwave. I confronted the property manager and was instructed to wait one hour and the apartment would be complete. 7 hours later!!! I get a phone call indicating that the apartment was completed but still has a dishwasher issue...Not only was the apartment not ready but I lost out on my movers for the day. I show up wanting to move in and told the property manager what had happened. I was left without any of my stuff because the movers had closed by this time. All of my belongings were in storage leaving me with no where to sleep. She showed no sympathy and could care less about my situation. I was put in this situation by the property and was still made out to seem like it was everyone’s fault but their own. She could care less and cancelled my lease and called the cops on me. Now I am left to find a place that can accept me within the next three days before I am out of my place. AVOID RENTING HERE. This is no way to treat anyone. Very unprofessional. Be careful with signing your lease because they could care less once you sign. They forced me to sign my lease in less then 72 hrs or threatened to cancel it. Do not believe this scam it is how they try to get you.

Im loving it so much here!! The apartment complex offers so much more than where I was living at. I am so happy that I moved here; everybody at the leasing office are so amazing and helpful!

I absolutely love it here!! The atmosphere is quiet. The staff is friendly and professional! The community is very clean and I love the gated community! I sleep well at night knowing we have great security!! I would definitely recommend Ventura Ridge to family and friends!! Come join our great community!

Great staff (Katelyn) helped me right from the beginning I felt right at home unlike other places around the area. Rooms are great, amenities are great (especially pool area). Im pretty tall and showers/rooms/ceilings are spacious not to mention the rooms are very luxurious and top of the line.Highly Recommend Best apartment for the money.

I am so happy that my locator showed me Ventura Ridge Apartments! From walking in to moving in the staff has been wonderful. Katelyn did an amazing job getting me exactly what I needed in an apartment. The units are new and very nicely updated. The amenities are fantastic with a beautiful pool and view of the fireworks from Fiesta Texas at night. This is a great part of town with easy access to highways, shopping, and entertainment. If you are looking for apartments make sure to view Ventura Ridge!

The best thing this apartment did was get Mr. Marvin as the new Maintenance Manager! His sincere care and dedication to help me get my washing machine fixed really put me and my partner at ease after two weeks of not having one, even on his first days on the job he made sure to help us right away! My fiancée and I have had the best experience with Ventura Ridge so far! First of all, the property is well maintained and situated on a quite road. We even got to choose a color scheme for the cabinets/countertop/floors, which I have never experienced in all of the apartments I have lived in. We will be the first tenants in our unit, so we are excited that everything will be new and updated! Che processed our paperwork very quickly and made sure we had everything ready for our move in day! We are SO SO excited to pick up the keys today!

I havent even signed my lease yet, they are processing my application but I can tell that Im going to love living here, Taylor has helped me with so much! after I already told her which apartment I wanted she went the next morning and took pictures of it for me! She is quick to respond to emails and makes sure I have everything I need to know. They actual apartment is beautiful; with lots of choices. the view is also gorgeous because its on the top of a hill and you can see downtown. There is also a path to a small emergency clinic from the front parking lot which is a big comfort for if anything were to happen!

My family and I have lived here for going on for years now. We have looked at other places in the same area and has compared prices. Ventura Ridge has prices have been very competitive with the location that is house. They also put their tenants first and every aspect and try to accommodate everybody as much as possible. In our opinion they go above and beyond to make us feel right at home.

From the moment I walked into the guest lobby at Ventura Ridge, I knew it was a place I wanted to live. After meeting the friendly staff and seeing one of the units, which had a gorgeous modern look and feel, the only question I had was, Where do I sign? The leasing office was nothing but flexible and accommodating, making the leasing process as painless as possible. If you are looking for an affordable luxurious living situation then I recommend you check out Ventura Ridge Apartments.

My 12-month lease is coming to an end in October and I really have enjoyed my time here at Ventura Ridge. Everything from the apartment itself to the facilities are kept in really good shape. The staff are the nicest Ive ever encountered at an apartment complex. There are a couple negatives that I will mention:- Yes, they do essentially make you post a five-star review. This isnt really a bad thing. It is good business on their part. Just be aware of this as you are going through reviews.- I was not made aware of all of the recurring monthly charges that I would have to pay each month when I signed the rent.- There are a lot of irresponsible dog owners in this complex who do not pick up after their dog. Not the apartments fault but they could stand to add many more baggie stations.The only reason I am moving is due to the high cost. My rent for the 660 square foot model was $1083. I am moving to Siena on Sonterra where I am getting 750 square feet for $895 for a 10-month lease. If the price were lower, I would certainly stay at VR. I do recommend it as a good place to live.

Ventura Ridge has got to be the nicest yet affordable luxury apartments in SA! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we got the apartment we wanted for a great price! Literally minutes from La Cartera and about 15 minutes from downtown SA! If you want a good spot to live it up in SA... THIS IS IT! When you apply tell them you read Omar Smiths review on Google... Trust me... You will leave a good review too! Special shout out to Trevor, Lorena and Don for helping us make Ventura Ridge our new home.

I give it a 5 star because Cecilia, my leasing agent, has been so helpful making my transition to a new city!! She has made my decision to move much easier. I researched several properties by phone with the help of my niece and Cecelia was by far the best at customer service. With all thats gone on in 2020 we need great customer service agents like her. My family and I have lived here for almost 3 years. This is by far the most professionally run apartment complex and the nicest staff I have worked with. If an appliance breaks or malfunctions, even if it is the weekend, they will usually be there the same day. It is a quiet, beautiful community!

Even though it was a hassle to get all the necessary accounts set up because of the move-out date of the people still living in our unit, Katelyn was absolutely amazing and helpful with setting everything up. She worked with our hectic work schedule and made it really easy for us to set everything up. So the overall costumer service definitely exceeded expectations.The installations are absolutely beautiful, they are so modern and clean! We fell in love with them in an instant! Great location as well, you can take either 1604 or IH-10 which is great for our commute!

The staff that works here is phenomenal. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted, offered a beverage of your choice and promptly assisted. The amenities are terrific from the clubhouse to the gym and the swimming pool, you will not be disappointed. Additionally, they are working on a dog park area (I have a vizsla and an onsite park was a must for me) for those who have a dog. I looked at several apartments in the area (West Oaks, Savannah Oaks, etc) but the selling point for me was the friendly and helpful staff. Whether you interact with Che, Taylor or Katelyn, you will not be disappointed in your experience here.

This Apartment is the best one I have found in San Antonio. They have all the amenities you need as well as your family. The staff especially the manager Taylor,she is very nice and very friendly. She is the one who helped me out to sign my contract (on April 1st), since the person who showed me the complex was not there. Moved here thinking it was a safe location and well maintained. I was wrong. Parking is very limited even though there are is an abundance of spots (tells me some aren’t suppose to be parking here). People constantly park in fire lanes and block other cars even though I’ve mentioned it to the front office (they didn’t seem to care). The same bottle of trash has sat in my stairwell for the past 1.5 weeks straight. 3 trucks have had their rims stolen and put on blocks. The walls are thin enough to hear what my neighbors are listening to or when they are home. The grills at the pool don’t work and I wonder if they ever have.If I could post pics I would to support every one of these comments.

I’ve been looking for apartments and when I came here Autumn was the one who greeted me and showed me around, very friendly, knowledgeable and professional! so if you’re looking into these apartments she’s your go to person.

Upon walking in my boyfriend and I felt extremely welcomed by Katelyn our leasing specialist, she listened to our needs and helped us immensely. The apartment complex is in a great location easily accessible to I-10 and 1604 with great views! Its worth what youre paying for rent with all the amenities that comes with this place. I would definitely recommend this place if your looking to stay in the Northwest area of San Antonio.

Milked so much money out of me in fees, the late fee is $100 + $10 a day I was 2 days late!.. I am sorry but I work very hard for my money and this alone is the reason I will not be coming back, the staff showed no remorse or willingness to help. I am single and on a budget and the fact that they could not work with me or understand my situation tells me they do not care about the residents at all. The rent is very high for the Sq Ft $1,083 for a 1 bed and like other reviews the wood floors/ cabinets are cheap the water pressure sucks.. cant wait for the lease to end once and for all.

From the lack of maintenance on elevators, to lack of parking spots, to never being able to get someone on the phone, and FINALLY their leasing management LYING or not having any follow-through about sending notice for final move out outstanding balances, save yourself the hassle and find residency elsewhere. I’d have expected a decency of a phone call or two before they let such a meager balance go to collections. They don’t care about the resident.

Excellent service and attitudes from all staff. Amazingly fast and friendly maintenance team. Best location. Only wish parking was appropriately adequate for residents. I believe ALL apartments in this area of town need better security as car break ins/thefts are a constant issue. Very sad.

Beware when you move out! Overall, I enjoyed my 14 month stay at Ventura Ridge, but when it came to moving out and paying the final account balance, they lost my money order and sent both my cohabitant and I to collections over a bill we paid on time and in person. I’ve called multiple times to try to resolve this matter, and I’m lucky if I ever get someone on the phone to help me. Even the collections agency says they can’t get a hold of them either! When I was finally able to get someone to answer the phone, they told me sometimes money orders get posted to the wrong account, “it happens all the time,” and they will investigate to see where they put my money. If you’re losing people’s money and sending them to collections “all the time” that is actually a huge issue on your part! Still waiting for this to be resolved.

Im not gone lie, when I first pulled up at the apartment complex with my locator I thought she was insane if she thinks these people are going to lease me an apartment because this place is just too perfect. But as we walked in, I felt more confident in my chances not only because of the type of atmosphere that the property bestowed upon me but because as soon I started speaking with one of the leasing agents Ms. Katelyn, I knew this was the place for me and my Fiance. It wasnt much she really had to tell me because the apartment because it speaks for itself. I was sold as soon as I walked in. But overall it was a very smooth processed and everything about it is just simply amazing.

I am a recent transplant from Austin. I was a bit hesitant about moving back to San Antonio from Austin, as I had grown to love it so. However, after viewing Ventura Ridge, I immediately became excited about my new home. The property is so serene and beautiful, and the units themselves are incredible. My husband and I just moved in and we love the place. The breezeways are cleaner than must of the other communities, the pool and the club house are incredible and comfortable, the views are awesome and the staff service is excellent, they always have great attitude and will to help you.Definitely, check them out!

I did a visit here and thought it was such a great location. I was set on living here then I saw the facility- I have a dog and I’m generally an outdoors person so this was a big one- they had no decent landscaping. There was literally irrigation sticking out of the ground! Considering how expensive the place is you’d think they’d have nice landscaping. Next went to the pool it was green! The grills also did not work! This place has so much potential and it’s such a shame the residents have to consider it home. Not for me and wish they’d spend some money and update!

Leasing staff and Maintenance staff are great! Marvin is the maintenance supervisor and helped fix anything wrong in our apartment ASAP. I appreciate how helpful and responsive the staff is to problems and concerns!

If I could give the staff that works here zero stars, I would. They mess up ALL of the time and take no responsibility for it. Then, they expect you to pay extra and be more flexible because of THEIR ERRORS. The move in process was the worst Ive ever experienced. The front office staff REALLY needs to get their act together.Aside from the staff, the amenities and apartments are nice.

I needed to move from a two bedroom, and into a one bedroom. Autumn made sure I got the best price and made the experience pleasant. This will be my second lease here.

Che was my leasing consultant. She was very knowledge and eager to assist and answer any questions that I had. I did take some time for my application process but she was very patient with my roommates and I. She was very helpful in getting us into our new apartment in the short amount of time that it was needed in. We are excited to begin our elevated living experience!!!

CANT WAIT TO LEAVE! We have gotten noise complaints just for having friends over, no parties or anything, walls are paper thin! We asked how thick the floors are before we moved in because we were worried about the noise. They said 18 inches of concrete between levels, which is obviously a lie! You can hear EVERYTHING! We dealt with it because its an apartment and kinda expected it, but the final straw was today. They randomly decided to add my dog breed as a restricted breed, even though it was not on the list of restricted breeds when we signed the lease. They only enforce the rules on people they want out, I have seen several of my dog breeds walking around with no problem, as well as breeds of dogs that ARE on the restricted list. This is BS and we are definitely leaving when our lease is up and will never refer anyone to this place. Parking is horrible when night fall comes around. The gates are mostly open which gives access to just about anyone due to the fact of the non stop construction. You might see a ton of 5 star reviews on this place but only because they will give you a deductible off your rent for a month. For the price you pay per month, you might as well just get a house to be completely honest. The hallways in the buildings are never clean, the stairwells have spiders and cobwebs, and rodent trails can be seen through out the hallways. The fire alarms are sensitive and will go off if you just turn on the oven.

Ventura Ridge is at a great location, has excellent style apartments, and has a very friendly staff! The pool is sweet and the feel of luxury is even sweeter. I cant wait to call this place home! :)

Great place to live, high-end finish and a fantastic location with a nice view of Six Flags and UTSA. Parking can be a challenge as it is in most communities but not the end of the world.Great pool area and very nice clubhouse. The mail area is inside and air conditioned, which is a nice change in San Antonio.

I love my apartment and everything has been great most of my lease, besides recently, the elevator in building one is very unreliable, multiple people have told me personally in the hallways when walking they’ve gotten stuck AND the parking situation is a nightmare, they are allowing people to park on the fire lane and in handicap spots when they aren’t even handicap, I’m scared to park anywhere in fear I won’t be able to get out or even my car being hit AGAIN as it has happened multiple times but there’s no cameras near building one, I referred one of my friends to my apt complex because I truly did love it, but for the renewal price and claiming to be luxury apartments this issue with parking should not be happening. Especially when we’re supposed to have “security” who monitors in the evening.

Brand new apartments, very nice staff, great views, quite and they have elevators! Easy to move into, ready the very next day. GREAT location, right off I-10 and right down the road from La Cantera. Cant wait to move in and decorate! Happy hunting. :)

I was at Ventura ridge for about 3 1/2 yearsNice place, I moved out and they send me to collection for carpet replacement, when I asked them about it they told me that the carpet was replace before I moved in, when I ask when exactly i was told a date 2-3 month before I have moved in, that was not credible at all because the previous tenants was still leaving in this apartment. They told me they would take a look at it and few weeks went by and I got a phone call from a collection company. They charged me security deposit due to my credit and 2 pet deposits. And still charged me 1100 for 2 small bedrooms and a living room carpet without a real proof that that carpet was change before I moved in.Not a bad Place to leave it but at the end it seems like they are just desperate for money..Oh also I forgot to mention the maintenance guy Rene I believe his name was who leave there and was Always hitting on female tenants and even my wife was one of them, always coming around at the time my wife would get home. I’m not sure but think he left before getting fire, cause he was cheating on his girlfriend with a tenant from Ventura ridge

My favorite things about Ventura Ridge are the location, the new-ness of the complex, and the office staff. I work and go to school nearby and it takes me about 5 minutes to get to both places. Im a big fan of new apartment complexes and Ventura Ridge is only about a year old. The office staff is very friendly, professional, and willing to work with you on issues you may have.

I absolutely love this place! Donnie Chapman did a great job helping us tour the property! He took his time and spent a while helping my family get into an apartment that fit our needs in the perfect location. I definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

This is a real review all the 5 star reviews are because VR ask that you leave a review to receive the promotions.The staff is super nice when you move in but if you need any maintenance forget about it. Crime, the gate by the office is almost always open leading to a dozen break ins including apartment homes. The apartment above mine was housing a child moelster and selling drugs out of the apartment. When I moved out they charged me for stuff that was either already broken or didnt need to be replaced. Stay far away from this management.

This is my same review on Yelp, but wanted to get the word out there.After looking at about 20+ complexes in the Stone Oak, TPC, and Rim area and this place jumped out at me the most. The complex is brand new, so my unit will never have been lived in. The complex is absolutely beautiful from their West Coast architecture, to their modern interior design of the units. The floor plans are great as well, and give you the maximum usage of the total square footage. The Gym and Club Room are state of the art, and the Club Room has a great view of the Hill Country, as well as Fiesta Texas (which will give you a great view of their nightly fireworks show).Ventura Ridge is a VERY Military friendly community, which is getting harder and harder to come by at most complexes. They are about 25 minutes from Lackland, Kelly Field, Ft Sam Houston, and Randolph; and only a few minutes from Camp Bullis.They are extremely pet friendly and have pet washing/grooming stations on the complex, as well as a nearly complete Dog park. The buildings have elevator access, and the elevators are large enough to fit most furnitue.The complex is perfectly located at the intersection of 1604 & I-10, which makes it close to UTSA, Shops at La Cantera, TopGolf, Fiesta Texas, and The Rim Shopping Center.After viewing the complex late one afternoon, I knew I had to submit my application immediately before someone else beat me to the punch as they will be filling up very quickly.The staff was extremely nice, and genuine, and were not pushy to get you to sign a lease on the spot as most other complexes are. In my case Ché was nothing but amazing, and had all the answers to all my random questions. I cant wait to call this my new home.

Nice looking apartments. dogs urinate in hallways. people let their dogs poop in stairwell. elevator and coffee machine are always broke. my car as well as other tenants vehicles were getting broken into. soon there will be another car dealership in front of the entrance. . Im so glad i left this overpriced place.

Ive been renting for over 5 years at different apt complexes. I received 3 noise complaints over a period of 6 months and they evicted me out of the apartments, giving me a week to move out. If your going to evict somebody you would think they would let you stay until the 1st of the month since I paid rent. After the 2 second noise complaint I received a warning of evictionsayimg if I have another one they are kicking me out. I went down to talk to the manager and told her that both times the security guard came up I was literally by myself watching a movie at 10:30 at night on a Saturday, she assured me saying they wont evict me and wouldnt want to lose my business they would just transfer me to another apartment to get me new neighbors. Obviously she was lying. & on top of it all they emailed me a letter saying they are charging me $5,000 for breaking the lease. This complex is ran by a bunch of idiots

The five stars is specifically for the maintenance manager Marvin. There were so many things wrong with my move in, like a ton, but he helped me so much. Thank you Marvin for everything. I’ll update more about the rest later.

Absolutely loved working with Katelyn at Ventura Ridge. Walked in on a Saturday, and signed a lease the next day! Gorgeous property, high quality apartment features, and you cant beat the views. Theres really nothing else in San Antonio like it.

I had a hard time finding an apartment complex that I liked in San Antonio. The moment I met the friendly leasing specialist at Ventura Ridge and toured Ventura Ridge, I knew I had found my home. I enjoy the view I have from my apartment and how close I am to my favorite restaurants and stores.

This is a great place to live! Ive been here for 2yrs and I would recommend it to everyone. Great prices, great location and a great staff!

Living here for about 12 months within those months there has been over 14 cars that have had their rims stolen no camera or security were put in place only more “lights”. The fire alarm goes over at least twice a month without warning and when you try to talk to the staff about it they said it’s routine...I asked if they could send out a letter or warning about the alarms before they go off and they said they couldn’t cause they don’t know if or when they will be going off (which doesn’t make sense) my lease is up in july I can’t wait til I get out of here. Light fixture all over the complex are broken since I’ve been here no one has fixed that. Before you sign make sure you know what your signing cause if your working from home this probably wouldn’t be somewhere to sign

Our experience was really bad because there are not control in this apartments: Everybody from San Antonio comes to this swimming pool during the weekends its extremely noise, alcohol and making big parties beyond 10pm and nobody control it. There are not enough parking spaces we always had to leave the car two or three blocks away from the apartment. In 3 opportunities my deliveries from amazon were stolen from the door of my apartment in a seconds. The cars are vandalized and speeding into the apartment complex in one occasion a old lady was hit by a car.

I really lucked out with Ventura Ridge! It had the best of everything! Great views, Cabanas at the resort pool, modern amenities like faux wood floors and granite counters. Excellent staff, Che and Katelynn are on their A game. And valet trash is REAL here!

Great Customer Service!! Kaitlyn is the best ever! Brand new apts look great and amazing amenities to go along with it! Still doing a little touch ups here and there but I know the place will look great! Very quiet.

Don’t believe the positive reviews they were all bribed. There is absolutely no security here whatsoever. I have tried calling 3 times and always get the voicemail, never received a call back either. I’ve never seen anyone walking around or “patrolling” whatsoever. There are always people breaking into the gates and stealing property and the ditzy girls at the front says they only have security during the day and they “can’t help break ins”. It’s called hiring real security!! This place will steal your money and not protect you. Also the maintenance sucks, they come out to “fix” something only to say they have to come back and take another week to do it.

We had some inconvenience in the beginning but Cecilia fixed everything quickly and professionally. So far, her and Lorena have made our experience here at Ventura very pleasing.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgable! The apartment is in a great location with tons of amenities! It is near UTSA, La Cantera, The Rim, & TopGolf. The poor area is really nice and you gotta love the free Starbucks! Everything this apartment has to offer is amazing! Valet trash, elevators, the clubroom is large, and the view from our apartment oversees towards UTSA & Six Flags.

I would not recommend! Maintenance Is so terrible haven’t had good running A/C for a few months and I had to keep on calling them to come, finally they came a couple of time in a month and never fixed the problem. They told me they were going to give me a call back but never did I waited a week but no call back called the office to ask if maintenance could call me but never did I called them every week for 3 weeks but no one reached out to me so I finally gave up. So disappointed also the last time they stopped by to try to fix it they told me to buy blinds it would fix the problem they could at least tell me that they can’t fix it. There so TERRIBLE. To this day my A/C is not working and I saw maintenance and they didn’t even bother to ask me anything I’m so annoyed I didn’t even want to wast my time asking them

I wish I could give them zero star! The staff, cicylia, was the rudest I have ever seen. First,she did not told us she created a quot for us that expires in 48 hours. We liked the unit and told her we wat it In 24 hours and she said that is fine and she will email us the application. After a couple of hours we called her that we have not recieved it and she said she will send. After a day we called her back and told her we still does not have the application. And say what! She told us her colleague rented that unit to someone else! Not only she did not say sorry but she reapetedly told us its ur PROBLEM. when we asked for another unit then she said your qoute is expired and prices went up about $200. And again no even a sorry word! Please before decidind to go to this complex read RECENT reviews not old ones with 4 and 5 star!

The best desicion i made all year was to stop at ventura ridge to check it out, i had other options planed but a friend told me to go, so i went and discover a great place to live...they have all the amenities you need and more plus the units are classy and well planned, the staff is very friendly and helpful in my case Taylor was amazing, i had all the answers i need it and the unit that i wanted, i signed the application immediately and i will be there for years to come.You should go and get one before they are gone

Great location, quiet neighborhood, attentive maintenance, and beautiful location! I have enjoyed living here for over a year. I’ve not had any noise disturbances and have met friendly neighbors!

Great customer service! As soon as you walk in youre greeted by warm friendly staff. Several amenities, convenient access to highways, with a new modern design. Very quiet too.

Its been awhile since Ive been able to say home sweet home but I cant help saying it every time I come home, the staff is so friendly and tentative to our needs, fun community events and gatherings, a convenient location, wonderful amenities and luxurious living spaces. I stumbled upon Ventura Ridge apartments and absolutely fell in love with every aspect. Everyone was extremely helpful and understanding to my needs. The space for the price was unbeatable.TH

The first time we lived here it was definitely 5 stars now there is not really and parking unless your willing to walk about a 1/4 of a mile from your car if you do park in the fire lane they have a cop they send to put tickets on your vehicle.

Have been here for almost 18 months and I love it! Very calm and safe.

The apartments are well designed and the staff is great. Noise is usually quiet and the residents here are also very respectful and kind.

Junior with maintenance helped me tremendously. Lorena was great! Super professional. Would recommend to all my friends and family to ask for Lorena if you visit the property.

Most places wouldnt accept my dog due to her mixture however they accepted her no problem!! Staff was energetic and willing to answer and help. Courteous and good customer service

We have very pleased with this place! We got for our daughter for college, it is a nice quiet place where she feels safe. The apartment is very nice too!

I had recently relocated to the San Antonio area and had been looking for an apartment home that is upscale ,near shopping and dining Ventura Ridge offers all of what we wanted location ,location ,location the grounds and property are very well kept ,with no detail untouched ,5 stars

Great apartment and the front office staff is very nice

Handicap spot put in place well after I requested one and it was never accommodated. The one that was place isn’t even handicap accessible!! Don’t live here unless you want to live amongst the college crowd and all their trouble!

Beautiful apartments but security is horrible, I have had to see at least 4 trucks without tires and with broken glass, the doors never work and in the office they never help you and they dont have much space for parking

They were able to give me a very good deal even though there was a minor error with the system when applying. Staff was friendly and able to fix the issue right away.

The Staff is very friendly and professional, toured the apartments and excited for the upcoming building to be finished and plan to live here starting August.
