I moved in a few months ago and so far I love it! It’s very quiet, maintenance is very fast and doing the job for the minor things and fast.Yesenia is the best! She responds quickly to my needs at any time and the communication is great!
Just spent a 1 year lease here. Upper Management is very manipulative while the new girl they have isnt helpful in any sense of the word, contradicting at every turn, grounds are always filthy, and constant water outages you can almost expect monthly. Hidden charges throughout your stay also just accrue towards your bill going up. And make sure when its time to move out, you get the person you speak with, in their own writing, what it is they want you to do per moving out...I was told thats it! Thank you for renting with us! And now Im being randomly charged a months rent for not turning in keys? When I moved in, I had to make copies of my key for MAINTENANCE. And then being told Im getting charged because I wasnt out of the system....make up your mind what lie you wanna tell me.Steer clear, or record/have in writing every interaction with Management if you choose to rent here.
I just want to say that Sara is awesome! She was so kind and helpful towards us throughout the whole moving process! She has a positive and friendly attitude and knows what she is doing.
The staff here is manipulative, they post their own Google reviews, host raffles for Google reviews that they never follow through with. There is a huge construction mess that the staff will give you lame excuses for you to stop bugging them, litter all over the complex that they’ll never care about. There are no amenities except for a “new gym”, a tiny stuffy room for them to add “rec room” to their amenities, and an old useless laundry room full of broken machines that they’ll never care about because they get paid for keeping them. Who cares if they work? They’re disgusting too. This used to be an equal housing opportunity complex, but as soon as it was bought they kicked everyone that needed their home out, raised the prices, threw some white paint on the walls inside, blue on the outside, and don’t forget their shiny new office, that was worked on first because tenants don’t matter. Why? Because they can. Who’s going to stop them? They removed the fence next to the kid’s playground because they obviously don’t care about any child’s safety or their parent’s peace of mind. Save yourself the time and headache and live somewhere where someone will care about you.
Sara Franco really helped me get into by brand new apartment I couldn’t be more excited she did amazing work helping me get approved and setting me up on my first day i really recommend coming in and speaking to her if you’re interested in moving !!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!These apartments before were so beautiful and awsome to live in and safe too and the maintenance and management did care before but now its unsafe and the workers just covered it up and Trust me DO NOT MOVE HERE They will rip u off from your money!!!

I have been living here at ,Sunset Heights, for a couple years. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have kept the apartment complex looking beautiful. It’s a very comfortable, convenient location. The maintenance guys, Luis and Chuy, are great guys. They come quick and fix any issues you have and even explain the problem and how they fixed it. They are knowledgeable in what they do. They fixed our heater and made sure that everything was working properly. I can trust them. Hoping to live here for a very long time as long as the staff is the same.
Sunset Heights has proved to be a comfortable, friendly, and safe place to call home. This community is so conveniently located near 2 major highways, the beautiful and diverse Quarry Market, parks, various restaurants and even some nightlife establishments. I have been a resident for just over a year. I recently renewed my lease because I knew the space I lived in, the location and quality is well worth the cost of living in this area.The ladies, Claudia and Yesenia, in the leasing office have always provided friendly and knowledgeable service. Often including the complex community in holiday treats.I am also so thankful for the efficiency the maintenance crew provides.Oh! And the lawn is always so well manicured 😊 take a look, you won’t be disappointed!

It is a joyful place to stay. The ladies in the front office are professional. The maintenance crew quick and easy service with anything we need in our apartment. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Once you move in it’s hard to really think about going anywhere else.

Just moved into the apartment complex and Im very pleased with the staff and condition of the unit Im in. This experience has been sweet and easy.Maintenance is awesome , Luis and Chuy are trustworthy and knowledgeable and I will keep living here as long the staff is the same. Everyone including maintenance and office staff has been welcoming and respectful. I suggest you move in

The sinks, counters, and bathtub were painted to look new but after a couple months, the paint started peeling and you can see what they tried to cover with paint 😔2. You reward bad behavior, I pay my rent early every month, was not acknowledged for it but you rewarded people for paying late (paying by the 3rd is not on time) , why would that be rewarded but paying early is not appreciated?3. Flex came out as an offer to split rent payments and as a reporting agency to credit bureaus, I signed up for reporting to credit bureaus before flex was an option, when I first initiated my online payments, please verify that my payments have been reported correctly and fix any discrepancies4. Can we get an update on when construction will be complete over in the leasing office area? It’s unsightly curb appeal when coming to the property and it seems to be causing plumbing issues in the laundry room, an update on what to expect in the future would be nice even for people who are interested in becoming residents but may be turned off by the first impression.5. unsupervised children destroying the property, the leasing office was informed and it went unconcerned for too long and too many things were destroyed before a notice was sent out.6. A request for window screens was made in October. Maintenance measures twice, brought the wrong size on the third attempt and then said they are waiting on materials, we just got tired of asking and ending up buying our own materials and making our own screen. I even asked for a time frame or just to be told if it wasn’t possible to get screens rather then being strung along never heard back and the Window are not washable you have to basically scrap the build-off7. Please look at the history of outages what can be done to mitigate the issue if one building has a problem all of the buildings shouldn’t have to suffer from one building’s problemWhy is laundry the room outage always an issue? What has been done to mitigate the issue?8. Prices were increased on the machines in the laundry room, there was no warning or notice to alert tenants, they just slapped a new sticker label on the machine one day. Even if the machines are maintained by an outside company, the leasing office host this company and is ultimately responsibly for their bad behavior and doing business with them, you could certainly use another provider or adjust your agreement with them9. The dog park and picking up dog feces enforcement is not being honored and you are rewarding bad behavior by having an event for dog owners when there is dog feces all along our fence line. There needs to be more visible signs and penalties for failing to adhere to picking up after your dog10. I have been forced to pay for cable and WiFi and I don’t use it, I have WiFi included with my phone company which is not Spectrum but because you were not able to remove Spectrum from my bill I now have duplicate WiFi and cable I never use11. When my neighbor had a water issue plumbing was resolved right away so kudos for the outsourcing with a plumbing company who quickly responded but our maintenance came in and out of my bathroom and saw the door knob was broken and did not repair it and they left the grout grey12. Recycling ♻️ other communities have recycling bins for more than just paper, and to only have one can for the entire strip of buildings is unreasonable as it’s often full and over flowing creating an unsightly mess. Perhaps a sign and notice to remind people to use the recycle bins properly would also be helpful13. I complained of my neighbor harassing me I even told his daughter who lived in the building next to us to tell him to leave me alone & not to touch me, I would be sitting on the porch with my legs in my chair & he would touch my feet, when I would move away he would say sorry sorry, I would check the peephole to make sure he wasn’t out before I would come out. They said I would have to pay to terminate my lease or pay extra to relocate.

Luis is and great maintenance guy he make sure that he gets the work order done in and effective way and the office is so helpful making sure whatever issue I have gets resolved quickly I definitely would recommend this apartment to other people

This property was recently sold to a private owner and has since seen a stark decrease in upkeep and customer service.Attached are four photos of various unwanted items and debris placed outside the dumpser in full view of residents and guests. While the prior owners stayed on top of upkeep, these images show an inability and/or unwillingness on current ownerships part to keep these premises to at least an acceptable standard.In addition to the debris, also shown is an example of food items that are being left on the ground. While tenants appreciate the upgrade in the parking facility, it has proven to be a shoddy upgrade as there are visible chips or cracks in the paint less than a month after completion.Contractors are not fulfilling their obligation (ie, painted lamp posts, as well as leaving maintenance debris behind instead of properly removing or disposing of it.) It is apparent that this new property management is not tenant-oriented; concerns are not being properly addressed and prioritized. Tenants are threatened if they express concerns about unprofessional contractors who do not clean up after performing contracted duties.Whether living here or just visiting, it is apparent the property manager does not care. It is filthy especially at the dumpsters. Maintenance has stopped performing daily trash pickup.Upon perusal of current ownership web site, many embellishments are being displayed in a misleading attempt to fill units. This new community takeover needs to be investigated and have a more compassionate, professional property management team.Much appreciation to the maintenance team.

I been here since 2013 not bad because its all utilitys included the area is really good safe to liveBut it has many roaches an its time to moved because all they do is come spray but it dont take the roaches away forever😥😡😡😡😡😡😥

M.I am going to celebrate three years at sunset highs, I have never had problems with anything or anyone. Everything is very calm, the staff is very friendly, the managers Claudia and Jessenia are also very attentive to the needs of each problem that arises.
I love these apartments, they have a great location and the staff and people are very friendly, plus it is in the Alamo heights school district 😍
