We had a good experience with Everview Homes, since the first day we contacted them, Adam the owner answered all our questions and started working on our project, Mike did an excellent job drawing the plans, he understood what we wanted to be our perfect home, Rebecca was so polite and answered my emails all the time, Erick worked along from the beginning to the end of the construction paying attention to the little details and answering all our questions, a project that was supposed to be done in 12 months they did it in 7 months thank you for all your work and support.

Everview Homes just finished building our beautiful new custom home. We sold our home and were hoping to be moved in about 6 months, they finished our custom home in 4 months.. At every step of the way they took time to listen to our concerns and responded promptly to not only address our questions but exceed our expectations in quality and design. Highly recommend Everview Homes!

During a very difficult time with Covid, material shortage throughout the nation, and all the labor issues, Adam and EverView build us a very nice home. EverView not only met our expectations but in some cases exceeded them. The house that Everview built for us is more than just a house. It’s our home.In our eyes it’s beautiful and so warm, welcoming comfortable.

We had an amazing experience with Everview homes from start to finish. Adam was enthusiastic about how he could help us build our dream home in Hondo from the beginning. Anna helped us navigate the process from understanding the contract to designing all the details. The architect was incredible and really listened to what we wanted and didn’t try to add any extras we didn’t ask for. Our project manager, Erik Baxter, was the shining star through out the entire building process. He kept us up to date on everything that was going on and kept us informed. Erik responded promptly to texts or phone calls when we had questions. This was our first time to build a home and Everview’s team made it seamless and an overall wonderful experience!

Let me start off with I wish I had read the reviews before I wrote a contract. DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM EVERVIEW HOMES We would have walked but between the money they were holding and our long term lock with an interest rate that was at 2 1/2 percent lower that what the current rates. I have a lot of experience with home building. I owned a construction company. So when I say what I say is from experience. DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM EVERVIEW HOMES The craftsmanship is horrible. They didn’t monitor their trades who trashed the home as it was being built. We’re finding so many defects it not funny. Almost every window has scratches on them. They trashed the thresholds when the stucco was applied and now they tell us that it would cost to much to replace them.I could go on forever. I am saying straight out DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM EVERVIEW HOMES. Let me share one more piece. They installed the dining room lights in the wrong place. They even acknowledged it wasn’t correct but then said that it was drawn that way on the plans so they weren’t going to fix it. Every trade and product they use is the least expensive. So they get workers that don’t care or don’t know what they are doing. Scary. DO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM EVERVIEW HOMESDO NOT BUY A HOUSE FROM EVERVIEW HOMESI snapped just a couple of pictures but I could go on and on. Pictures just don’t do justice.

Everview Homes was our only option when we moved out to Hondo Texas (THANK GOODNESS!!!!). They were rental/homes for sale, in a prime location to raise our tiny family. The application process was super efficient and we were able to move into our rental property so quickly. From the start, Vanessa had been amazing. She, along with the rest of the team were so quick to respond when it came to any issue that we had. Thankfully for us, we did not have many. The house we moved into was absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. These Everview homes are beyond beautiful. We stayed in our rental for one short year, and we were sad to let her go. We are currently looking at our buying/renting options in the future. Thankfully, I know that if I see Everview, I have a wonderful and friendly company that I can trust. The timing for us is not right to buy, but when it is.... I know that this company will always be an amazing option .

We truly love our home built by Everview Homes. We enjoyed working with Adam who is the owner. Jeremy Clements and Robert King worked closely with us on every detail and gave us frequent updates. We moved into our home prior to everything getting completed, but the contractors were able to work around our schedule and finish our home. Robert King was the superintendent and he knows his stuff. Jeremy Clements was our project manager and did a great job. Adam met with us when we first decided to go with Everview Homes and he was able to answer any questions we had. We would highly recommend Everview Homes for anyone that wants a beautiful custom home!

DO NOT USE. Horrible building experience, unprofessional unreliable staff, unable to contact. Have been trying to get Everview to address several issues after final walk through. The owner Adam stopped returning my calls. Had to pay out of pocket for an electrician and septic company to fix issues the builder would not. I was told the house was cleared for move in. Months later was served with a septic violation and fees for builder not obtaining septic permit . Had to have the electrical rewired due to constant light outages. See attached photo of electrical left un done sticking out of wall. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Some of our friends had a great experience with Adam, Marcus and the Everview team, so we contracted with them to design and build our custom home. The design and budgeting process went great. They explained the cost of each design decision along the way so we always knew where the budget stood. We were literally 2 days from starting construction and a nearby home appeared on the market that we couldn’t pass on, so we never got to the construction phase.

Building with Everview homes was one of the best decisions Ive ever made. Whole process was easy and handled very well. The owner Adam was awesome and helped me in so many ways to make the normally stressful experience of home building a breeze. After a few months of moving in, it appraised for over a $100,000 more than I paid. Ive had a hundred parties, and everyone tells me the same thing, Its the nicest home theyve ever seen. I just had it appraised again only a few short years later, now its worth nearly 400,000 more than I paid! Above all, I havent had a single issue with it. Not even so much as a clogged toilet. I love the house and would never sell it, but if I did, I would give the profit to Everview homes and have them build me another one.

I worked with 2 different people from Everview. Jeremy was really accommodating when showing the house as many times as we wanted to view it before making the decision to buy. He would point out things that he noticed for his guys to work on wanted to make sure we loved every detail before moving in. He remained this way even after the sale. The other person I worked with was Erik and he and his team did a great job on the home itself and they were quick to adjust anything we noticed which was never anything major. Months after the sale he has been responsive when we had questions. We love our home and they took care of us at Everview a smooth process the whole way. The next home we buy we be an Everview Home.

Ruthless homebuilder, very greedy, and will break your deal last minute if home prices have increased, so they can re-sell your home for higher profit. If home values decrease during the build process, thats okay, you suffer the loss and keep the home. The owner doesnt care. He has no integrity. Many complaints for this company at Better Business Bureau, look it up. Everview Homes is terrible.

Great home options but terrible builder, never followup on anything that needs repaired, their field manger are real estate agents and dont have experience building homes. Fail to monitor the crews as they are building, most of the time didnt have a current copy of the building plans, failed to follow the itemized list and installed the wrong Cabinets, Air Conditioning system and other major items. Will try to nickel and dime you on every aspect of the build. More interested in profit than quailty of the build. Company is not very organized and we were always having to point out things that were installed or connected wrong. Will not recommend this company or do business with it in the future. Still waiting on Cabinets in the house to be corrected (over 1 year now). Will not answer phone calls to the POCs nor return text messages. Terrible company that used to have a sterling reputation.

This company and builder is the absolute worse! If you have not closed do yourself a huge favor and please use a reputable builder. There are plenty of quality builders out there that will deliver a quality product. Our home has terrible workmanship. They hire the cheapest of the trades that honestly do not know what they are doing. We spent probably 15k extending our short term rentals for 2 months and pay 3100.00 as they couldn’t get their trades to show up and had to pay a mover twice as we were told to move stuff into the garage and then on the day of the truck being packed we couldn’t. We were told the day after closing our checklist would be completed and offered 1500.00 for all of our expenses ( we haven’t seen). Shocking! We had to pay 600.00 to a cleaner the evening before we moved in as the home was not properly cleaned. We have had to pull teeth getting them to fix their mess. Please, cancel your contract and move on now! Save yourself the headache. If your are thinking about using this builder DON’T! You will regret this. I would give this company a negative stars.

Everview homes is the epitome of a classless business. They do not respect your time or hard earned money, and do not care about what low bidder companies they hire to complete your home. The craftsman ship is non-existent and careless mistakes are continuous throughout the entire process. The way my husband and I were and still are treated by Everview is disgusting and I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Lastly, highly recommend if Everview is for builder, your blue tape walk through is thorough and you take A LOT of pictures. Your “one year warranty” is something you’ll fight tooth and nail for and the communication with the woman who is in charge of inquiring this for you takes weeks to respond to emails. The pictures included are post closing, 6 months-1 year after being in our home. I assure you this is not wear and tear rather this is the work you are using your hard earned dollar for when being a client of this company. Just stay away…

They built my home 3 years ago we are still trying to get warranty work done. The side walk is pulling away from the front porch and they want to just put gravel in the wide space instead of fixing the problem. The front porch needs to be raised a few inches because when you step out my front door you nearly fall it’s such a long step down. They delivered a new door frame for our study because they installed the first one crooked so the doors won’t hang right and they just dropped it off out side our garage 2 months ago and won’t come back. When you call the off or Adam Smiths phone no one ever answers or returns your call. “Update “ we finally paid someone to come fix the Study door because they sent a woman out by herself one afternoon who had no experience at all removing door frames and installing a new one. When I ask what experience she had in finish carpentry she replied she had been in the Army for 8 years. Just tired of fighting with them about this. We will also have to pay to fix our side walk I’m sure. STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY.My front porch WAS NOT CONSIDERED not to be out of warranty, another lie. Just none of your trades or you Adam Smith would take responsibility for it. We did have warranty work done goes to show how much you keep up. A lot of cracked tile replaced, now there’s about a 6 foot crack running across my dining room. We also had to have windows taken out and redone. We have double doors in our study taken out and rebuilt door frame at our expense because your trades built the wall so out of square. I stand my my rating for your company Adam fix your problems and quit cheating honest hard working people.

House is beautiful from outside and they have key in lockbox ready for me. I noticed the beautiful front door with nice handle and I walked in to beautiful hardwood floors and soft grayish carpets. The house have high ceilings which give the house a comfortable feeling and help the cold air circulation in my opinion. Kitchen is gorgeous with brand new appliances and countertops. Bathrooms make you feel like royalties with all the extra room you have to organize and setup all accessories. Bedrooms are big to put 2 queen beds in a drawers. The house have lots of lights and windows so you dont have to worry about being in the dark. Vanessa was a pleasure to help me with all my questions and concerns and she felt like a friend instead of a realtor.

Do Not Use This Builder!!!I would rather not write this review. However, I feel a duty to warn prospective homebuyers. Everview will take your money and not finish the job, plain and simple. This is exactly what happened to me.Its been three months since I closed on a new construction house with Everview for full asking price. Theyve been paid in full. The house still isnt complete. The builder is very good at telling you what will get done, which sounds nice. However, it doesnt happen. For example, three months after closing, Im still waiting on my sprinkler system  (included with the purchase) to be hooked up. Ive been told every week for the last 6 plus weeks that it will be done next week. I called the city and was informed that the irrigation application hadnt been started. Also, Everview left the septic system turned off for the first three months of me living in the house without informing me. The septic company came out for a quarterly inspection and turned the system on because it had been off the entire time that I had been living in the house. When they do send workers over, I have had to argue with them to do their job. The workers say phrases such as, We forgot our ladder and caulk; we dont have time. The previous is a direct quote from their painters. I had to do the touchup paint work myself. The reason being--if I want to get anything done correctly and without argument, I have had to do it myself. There are many more examples like this, but the previous illustrates the sentiment of what you will be dealing with if you choose to work with Everview. If you value your time, money, and the truth of a contractual agreement at all, you should absolutely not work with Everview because they wont value any of the above. They are wolves in sheeps clothing.

This builder cannot keep their own staff from quitting on them. That’s how bad they are! They were bragging about their beautiful “Parade of Homes” they were building at the same time our home was being built. They kept pulling contractors off ours to get their showpiece done. Meanwhile ours suffered any quality of finish work not to mention 3 weeks late on closing which cost us thousands! One of their contractors was so upset they had to come back, they took a hammer to our brand new water heater. Everview replaced it but still that’s how they treat people!! Absolutely horrible. Even after being told that he agreed with the our offer he had us come into the office to try to negotiate the amount by being overly aggressive. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUILDER. They are looking for any way to get money out of you. I was recently looking for a house and found one of their new homes that had been on the market for a couple of months. We filled out an offer with our agent and submitted it. They proceeded to tell us we MUST use their forms for the contract. Ok we filled out and signed their contract.Couple of days later we get an invoice for the earnest money from them (not the title company). I paid via ACH the same day. In the interum we had already lined up and had our financing worked out. 2 days after receiving our earnest money, we get an email saying the house has gone up, we MUST sign a new contract, use their finance company and their appraiser because they can control how the appraisal goes. Now this is a RESPA violation and is seriously illegal. I do have this in writing via an email, so if if they come back with a response that I am lying. I have undeniable proof. These people are are crooks, they had a house listed in MLS at a specific price, send their specific contract over, then send an invoice for earnest money (which is NOT supposed to go to them) and days later try to add more money and for people to use their lender, likely because there is some back end deal.
