I had a growing list of honey-dos and I finally did something about it! I saw a billboard advertising the Handy Squad and with no cost estimates and same-day service, it was a no-brainer for me to give them a call. Gary came out the next day and got rid of all of those little annoyances around my house. He straightened my dishwasher which wasnt level, he fixed a drawer which wasnt level and was constantly open, he fixed another drawer that had a crossbar issue and couldnt open, and, my favorite, he added trim to an entryway which will now allow me to hang a baby gate without destroying my drywall.Gary was amazing and the price was right! I am so thankful that I tried this service out. Now, lets see if the husband notices. 😉🤣

This company was able to get to my projects within just a few days…less than a week. Needed sliding glass door track cleaned and lubricated. It now operates like a new door (but is 40+ yrs old)I also needed several large holes in drywall patched and textured. I can’t even tell that there are patches! Awesome people came out to do the work…Rudy and Gary were extremely focused on being sure that every piece of work met my approval. The fee at the end was exactly what had been estimated.I highly recommend this company for doing minor or major repair around the house.

One of their craftsmen, Gary, drove to the house for a consult/free estimate of the work needing to get done. 5 days later, Gary returned with Rudy to install/build our gym equipment for the garage. I called on a Friday morning and the gal on the phone was very personable and friendly, she sent a tech out that same afternoon! Steve showed up on time clean and very professional. I had an outstanding experience with Handy Squad and their team. Autumn was very friendly and accommodating voice on the phone and was able to get someone out to me the same day I called for help. Sam with Handy Squad did a fantastic job with our playroom project. He covered old paneling, applied new texture and removed an old Mini Split unit for us! It took the amount of time he said it would, he showed up to work when he said he would, and he kept everything well covered up and tidy. I really appreciate the work he did at our house! Hire Handy Squad, you will be glad you did, I know I am! From the first phone call all the way through to the end, the experience was nothing but positive. I needed to have the popcorn texture removed from the ceiling of 3 rooms and to have carpet removed and laminate wood flooring and baseboards installed in 2 rooms. I have had contractors over the years and I dreaded getting this work done because of having had some pretty negative experiences in the past. With the typical contractor, common experiences are difficulty scheduling, unreturned phone calls, unreasonable delays, rude and uncommunicative workers, admin and overpaying and ghosting before work is completed, not to mention low quality of work. Somehow Handy Squad has solved all those problems! When you call you will talk to articulate, friendly, responsive staff who get the ball rolling immediately. I was impressed that on the free estimate visit the project coordinator, Josh, came out providing clear communication that proved to be honest and reliable throughout, to the completion of the project. When he came out at the end of the project to check on my level of satisfaction I was honest with him about a few areas I wasnt completely ok with. Without hesitation he happily scheduled to have the guys back out to re-do - the very next day.It was such a departure from what so many of us are used to, wow! I am a happy customer and will be back as new projects present themselves as they so often do. 1st Experience.) Gary was extremely helpful in getting my ceiling fixed! Very professional. Would recommend.2nd Experience.) I needed a garage door opener installed. 2 days later, it was done. Very pleased with the end result.

They wanted to charge nearly $700 to hang 27 items on walls and said it would take 8 or more hours. I had all tools and supplies ready to go. They came back and offered to do it for half that but I just cant bring myself to pay that much to hang some pictures and curtains.

I was charged $250 for about 3 hrs worth of work.*

We recently used Handy Squad Home Services for a fencing project and a painting project.These were small projects when it is almost impossible to find a contractor to offer a quote. The individuals for both projects were professional, did excellent work, and cleaned the work areas perfectly. Additionally, each of them took care of very small details, which made both projects look stellar! Handy Squad Home Services are our go to contractor for those small but necessary home maintenance needs.

The team was very responsive and capable. They installed a kitchen pantry and wine cabinet area for us; the pantry had issues caused by an initial failed installation by another contractor which their team worked through and resolved. Very happy with the work done and was done on schedule. Will be using them again in the future.

This company stands behind its work. They don’t quit until everything is right. My handyman David was especially attentive to my concerns and his work was done very well! Update: don’t use this company!!!! They did NOT stand behind their work!! They left me high and dry with a door replacement job that wasn’t done correctly. When I asked for a different serviceman they refused. DON’T Trust them with your house!

About 3 months ago we had a door knob installed on our front door. The installer never completely adjusted the door lock, making it hard to lock.We had a recent issue with the door not latching and had them come out again. This time they adjusted the striker but still couldnt properly adjust the lock. To make matters worse, after charging almost $300.00 for their first visit they charged an addtional $75.00 for this visit (A TRIP FEE).So I guess every time they say they will stand behind their work, they charge me $75.00 to do it. The Service manager basically argued with me and called me a liar over the phone while trying to resolve the issue. I will never use this company again! I will also never recommend this copmany to anyone. Obviously I am not a happy customer.

David did an amazing job today! Our home’s carpet/tile connections required new thresholds, carpet was coming up. Problem, subfloor is cement. David had the right impact tools, and did a perfect installation. I contacted them to get an estimate on closet shelf repair & within minutes Autumn from the office provided a detailed statement of work/estimate at a very competitive price. She also was able to schedule an appointment for 9 AM the next morning to get the repairs completed. Fixed lighting fixtures that had broken out of the ceiling and installed a microwave over the range. They did a great job, were courteous and respectful, cleaned up well after themselves. They were thorough and payed attention to detail. They also communicated well about the appointment and who would be working at my house.

Service was great; the price was a bit high but I had them working on my to do list for about 6 hours plus materials. Excellent value for the price!

First, Autumn kept me informed as to when the tech would arrive. Also; I was sent a bio with photo of the tech. Second, Steve was ver efficient and pleasant. He insured his work area was clean after he completed the work. Only draw back is I thought they were very pricey.

We had Steve replace some hinges on our outdoor gate. He went over my options on installation and was very helpful with making a decision with me. My service was on time, prompt, and handled professionally throughout. I will definitely be calling again!

Handy Squad is the worst maintenance company ever, this first had experience review, no response to emergency at all, you are on your own if it happens, takes days to get simple things done and get the team to come to your place, maintenance contract is a complete waste of money, and you have to pay external contractors to fix issues, not recommended at all, avoid at all cost !!!!

How the day started vs. How it ended.Discovered late last night - just before our pooch could escape - that the high winds that barreled through yesterday knocked down our 17-year-old fence. After making multiple calls and leaving countless messages this morning and throughout the day, it was Handy Squad Home Services, Inc. that came through for the same-day save at an incredible price! I truly appreciated that they welcomed our business despite 1.) us living in a seemingly less-profitable zip code when others snubbed us, and 2.) that we opted for a patch-up for the sake of time rather than a full-out replacement.Thanks to Steve Garcia, a Marine veteran who represents his employer and his nation with excellence, we feel safe again, and our little pup is back to enjoying her playground! They definitely earned a repeat customer!

We had the dreaded discovery of an animal that had died in our wall, and after a pest control company could not help us, I made a call to Handy Squad if they could come out to get into the wall, remove whatever was inside, and patch it back up. We had Steve arrive and he was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He was very kind and agreeable, and took on this unique task with grace and humor. We eventually found the poor creature, and he not only did the drywall work but also removed the carcass and nest himself, which was above and beyond, and I appreciated not having to handle it myself! He did great work getting the drywall back on and even patched the entry point in the wall where the animal had gotten in! Steve was up front about cost before services were provided and was very honest through the whole process. I would highly recommend Handy Squad to anyone for home projects and services and we most certainly will use them in the future!
