Kristen was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. She was great to work with in designing our first home! She made the experience stress free and fun. She took the time to work within our budget and our style needs to make sure we will love our new home. We cant wait to see how great our home will look!

My husband and I are very grateful to have had Sarah McClain as our KB Home Studio Design Consultant. I personally, was very nervous about the whole process. Looking at all the options was a little overwhelming for me. However, last week, we met with Sarah in person, at the studio, and right away Sarah put my worries to ease. She was very knowledgeable, very helpful, very understanding, very PATIENT. My husband kept switching things around and she just rolled with us. Kristen was amazing at helping us at the studio. She could point out the different materials used around the studio so we had a better idea what they looked like in a kitchen or bathroom. She made sure we were happy with our selections which I was so grateful for!

Our KB Design Center Specialist, Sarah McClain was absolutely the best! She was our favorite part of this whole experience. If you can request a design studio specialist, I highly recommend her. My wife and I were nervous, anxious, and overwhelmed going into the Design Studio but she had a way to make us feel comfortable. In no way does she try to get you to purchase more upgrades but on the contrary, she genuwinely wants you to feel financially comfortable with your decisions even if you dont want any upgrades or just a few. She is on your side and if your not happy, she isnt happy. She will be honest with your selections and tell you if it meshes well or not and she will give suggestions based on what you have describe to her of the theme or color pallete you are aiming toward. Kristin Medrano is more than 5 stars! She is very knowledgable concerning interior design and KB Homes Design Studio. Kristin is very quick to pick up on what is important to her clients and helped us with some decisions that we were on the fence about. Professional, courteous, responsive, dedicated and customer service focused are all attributes that we would use to describe working with her. She went above and beyond to help us get our next homes design inputs ready for the builders...cant thank her enough!

Overall the studio was clean & well organized. Giovanna was very knowledgeable in helping me choose a modern style for my new home & I appreciated her expertise in taking the time to go step by step with the whole process. As a first time homeowner, it is nice to know people like Giovanna are there to make the process a whole lot easier to navigate. Bought a home from KB homes. Their showroom appointment was a disaster, the rep Orlando was as least helpful as you can get. Extremely unhappy with the finishes and with the paint used to paint the inside of the house, it is not cleanable and when you try to clean the walls it literally melts away. Highly recommend not using KB Homes as I feel that they lied with the finishes and how cheap they are. See the pictures as to what happens to the wall when you try to actually wipe it down because thats what a normal house is like you have to wash the walls occasionally from kids and dogs.

KB has been wonderful to deal with. We are new home buyers and wanted to get something we could afford but also could make our own. There were so many design options and our design center associate Andrea was amazing. She helped us make some great choices based on our vision. I loved the studio atmosphere and professionalism. I did not feel rushed or pushed into making any decisions I did not want. They were kind and courteous and worked around us being out of state. I would use KB again and recommend it to all our friends!

He was very patient, explained everything to me and made me feel extremely comfortable and heard in my wants/needs. He showed and explained in great detail the options I had and if it wasn’t something I was interested in, he moved on and didn’t push anything on me. First off, Giovanna was amazing to work with. This was our first home to get to design from the ground up, and she guided us excellently. She knew our budget and did not try to upsell or pressure us into an option that did not work for us. We could not be happier with our selections and the professional atmosphere of the design studio. We brought our 18 month daughter with us and everyone was so kind to her and were understanding when she needed to yell and get her wiggles out. I could not recommend KB designers enough.

I had a terrible experience with this KB Homes. They consistently overcharged for every service they provided and seemed to prioritize making a profit over giving fair and reasonable pricing. I felt like I was being taken advantage of at every turn and was constantly frustrated by the high costs of subpar add-ons to the home. The staff needed to be more interested in addressing my concerns and provided little to no value for the exorbitant fees. I would not recommend this company to anyone and advise others to thoroughly research their options before choosing KB Homes. During this process, we were able to pick out our home floor plan, and they are pushing the fact that they provide you with many custom options for your home. The issue with how they present their ability to give you a custom home is about something other than the possibilities KB Homes can offer, but if you are willing to pay for each option they show. I understand that you can have all the chances worldwide if you are ready to pay a premium price. That is not what makes you a Premium Home builder. Anybody with a blank check can get many options; that is a no-brainer. At the end of the design studio appointment, it was in my best interest not to continue to move forward with the home-buying experience. To give some background on my home-buying knowledge, this would have been my 3rd home built. I had a homemade one in Hawaii and one built in San Antonio; this was the worst experience.

This is our second time buying a KB Home and going through the selection process at the studio. My experience the first time was a lot better than it was this time. This second time around the design studio consultant, Amy Stucker,made my wife and I feel extremely uncomfortable during the selection process at an extent that my wife did not attend the second appointment. We constantly had to ask her to show us the selections physically when she kept insisting that there was no difference from what the computer was showing. We wanted to do the selection process on kitchen and bathroom first because is where we were going to spend the most money and she refused to do it first and insisted in following the order she had in the computer which caused a lot of back and forth on changing things based on falling short on our budget. I asked her to see all the granite available and she literally open and closed the drawers without allowing to really see them. She did not have a lot of knowledge on what was included in the community we bought and at all times rush us into making decisions on the spot. At the end of the first appointment we didn’t finish the selection process and told us that’s we were suppose to arrive there knowing our selection so this doesn’t happen. She was not offering us all the products and was only showing us what was included and we constantly had to ask her to show us other things that we knew were available due to our experience with the first house. I had to do my own math on how much we had available on the budget and how much we had spent because we could see her irritation every time we asked her. During the second appointment I asked her to show me some pictures of the exterior of of some of the same molded houses built and she said it will be hard because there were to many so I literally had to use google maps from my phone on the community I was building to see other homes that were the same model so I can have an idea of what we wanted. Whenever i was traducing things to my wife in Spanish so she can have a better understanding we felt like she was feeling some type of way or she just simply did not like the fact that I was speaking to my wife in Spanish. Being Hispanic and a military service member stationed here in San Antonio she did not make us feel welcome or comfortable during this process and I do not know the reason of her behavior. I don’t know If this is the way she treats everyone but this is not how someone that just purchase a home be treated. Let me just quote part of an email I received from her after we completed the studio process and let you guys make your own judgement. From Amy: “Hopefully I have earned a 10 for the 4 “Design Selection Experience questions.” The questions don’t really mention that they pertain to our work together, but they are meant to reference your work directly with me.A 10 indicates that I have been helpful, friendly, answered questions, etc during the selection process. I have certainly been striving to provide an excellent experience with the studio. Please let me know if you have any questions about the survey or have any reason not to provide a 10”

Love this studio. Walking in we were a little overwhelmed. However that quickly faded Debbie Bonilla was so helpful and professional. She let us take our time and helped us with our options and choices. Lots of beautiful quality products to make your home beautiful. I would definitely recommend this studio. KB home has been the upmost professional and supportive our decision to build our new home. Awesome showroom with amazing staff. Amy helped my wife and I even before we committed to buying with KB! They truly want you to be happy, not just spend as much as possible. Couldnt be more thrilled to build with this showroom team.

They have all kinds of marketing saying they want to help the wounded warriors but they wont even let me help myself. They sold me a house in San Antonio that was supposed to be ADA compliant since I am an amputee. I even paid extra for extra wide doorways in certain main areas. They said the garage was a two car garage but I cannot get out of the car because it is so small I cant open the car door when they are in there. Im trying to pay a contractor to build it out wider but KB wont release the blueprints of my house to me so we can make it bigger.

Our appointment was a breeze thanks to Deborah, she is knowledgeable, friendly, and really helps you make the tough decisions! We walked out of the studio feeling we made the best choices for our house!

Good selection of everything, nothing was overly expensive and was fairly priced. Kristin was a massive help in any decisions I was stuck on and a huge help in explaining everything very clearly

KB Homes has been the the absolute worst in terms of communication. Our closing date has been pushed back 2 times. Neither time did we find out until 2-3 days prior to closing. Has cost use thousands to extend our locked interest rate and KB refuses to give us any incentive or cover any of those costs. Went to close and signed all the paperwork and we have confirmation that our wire went through and our lender has confirmation that their wire has been completed but KB still won’t release our keys 24 hours after they receive confirmation. We were told he our sales rep Jason Jacob’s, avoid this fool like the plague, that we would get the keys right after closing. Biggest joke ever.

Last August, we applied for a loan with KB HOMES and we gave them the earnest money deposit. 6 or 7 months later They told us that due to our credit score we didn’t qualify for the loan anymore. Nobody offered any kind of possible solutions. There was a lack of communication and interest from KB Homes to work out any kind of arrangement.We are really disappointed, this was supposed to be our first home.

It was OK, not a lot of options to choose from without paying big money for it. Feel like somethings should be standard or a better selection at least. Just finding out a piece we asked for we didnt get and now we have to go out to get it from another outside company

Live closeby to here. They harass residents of the neighborhood for walking nearby their business, sending police to bother regular people just trying to get home after work. Real scumbags.

Very happy with the progress and construction so far. Dain, Sarah, and Paul have been great. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
