View Homes practices bad business. They will not honor any contingencies that are written in your contract. If anything unexpected happens during your purchase/closing process, do not expect them to give you your money back, or offer you any alternatives. They do not care about anything except getting you to sign on the dotted line. Unless one of their houses is your absolute dream home, I would never recommend buying a home from them.

My fiancé and I just purchased a beautiful home from View Homes. The entire team did a great job to get us the home we wanted with an ample amount of amenities. We would love to thank Blas, Becca, Sergio, Omar, and Kathy. Loving forward to making memories here in our new home.

View Homes is the builder i went for, as I went through so many issues with other builders. Right when I was ready to give on getting a new home I met Hugo Martinez at view homes in the south end of San antonio, TX. Hugo heard my story and took matters into his own hands, where he showed me some of the models that view homes works with. Hugo introduced me to CMG Mortgage where everything was uphill from there. A very positive experi3nce that I carry within me from the experience with view homes and now I am enjoying my beautiful home. I will for sure recommend view homes to family and friends that are looking for a home. And most of all I will introduce them to Hugo Martinez. They will not be disappointed.

First and and foremost, this home buying experience was soooo much smoother than my first. Barely a month back from deployment and Enrique helped me get under contract on my home. Do not buy a home through ViewHomes or their sister companies. They get you caught and ask for feedback consistently, but never do anything about your feedback. There’s truly only been one person in the two years I’ve owned this home that has been helpful with warranty repairs. ALL the departments are horrible to work with and they don’t care about you at all. Especially after they get your money. They are sneaky and slimy. Please be careful

As a First time home owner I feel like View Homes were a God Send. More-so working with Dawn Davila! The process was nerve wrecking because I was traveling from Hawaii (Military Spouse) to purchase our forever home as my kids call it. I looked at 70+ homes in a week and no matter what my home stayed at the top of my list. Dawn worked hard for me, answered all my questions and when she wasn’t sure she got me an answer. She never lied to me and everything that she promised me she made good on her word! I never felt like she was trying to sell me or pressure me. She listened to all my needs and concerns and executed efficiently. I would recommend View Homes (Dawn especially) to anyone and everyone and have thus far. This is the biggest purchase that some will make in their entire lives not to mention the place that a large portion of your monthly income goes to. The decision is delicate, and it was so refreshing to have someone who knew the importance of it and cared about me and my family as much as I do. I truly felt that she wanted the best for us even if it wasn’t with her. I liked doing business with someone who cares and not just treat me like a number or walking commission!

I regret purchasing this home because 1: I paid over priced 2. The houses are too close together 3. The appliances are cheap and do not fit properly (oven), I didn’t see the HOA documents or rules until after I bought the home and it is crazy. They are based out of Florida. The neighbors run air bnbs and my other neighbor is scary and has throw a rock at my house because he was upset I did some landscaping and told the hoa on me. The windows and walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors arguing or partying. I really feel sad and stuck with this house.

Please do your due diligence before purchasing! We are going on over a year and have yet to get warranty work complete that was initially brought up when we moved in. We’ve had more warranty request in this home compared to our Dr Horton home (sad to say the least). The lack of communication is quite baffling. No one is ever on the same page or on time! This home has been nothing more than a headache!

While In the market to purchase a new home, my realtor set an appointment for me to visit a beautiful community built by “View homes.” There my realtor and I were met by one of their sales agent “Rebecca Henderson,” she gave us a tour of their model home, and explained all the features View homes had to offer. Rebecca was very knowledgeable, and gave us excellent customer service.After visiting different builders in San Antonio Tx, and its surrounding areas, at the same, and higher price points, I realized that most basic items, down to the size of the commode, a ceiling fan, and 34” cabinets, to mention a few, where all considered upgrades. At View Homes those features, and many others were standard. At that point, it became an easy decision for me. Excitingly, I will be buying my new view home this June.Priscilla-

These homes aren’t nothing special. Their decent. Just a notch up from Lennar. Some of the handyman vendors are trash. Been having some drainage issues going on that was brought up during the homeowner walk. I’ve mentioned it probably like 5 times within the last year. Still got a bedroom door inside that isn’t latching close and was missed last year when the handymen came by. On top of that the floors creak like crazy. For the fix all they did was drill in a bunch of star bit screws that now pop up through the carpet. The tile in the master bathroom was done sloppy. But hey, you get what you pay for. Much respect for Daniel Munson who definitely gets ish done but can’t say the same for everyone else.

The representatives from View Homes are extraordinary! Theyre very passionate and professional about their work and were dedicated to assisting us in the purchase of our new home. A+ service and construction…huge props to Dawn Davila, sales professional. My clients were extremely pleased with their purchase, thanks in large part to Dawn. She was great from contract signing to closing and really paid close attention to all of my clients needs during and after the transaction. I was in the market for a new home and visited their New Braunfels, August Fields neighborhood. I was greeted like a friend and received the most professional sales pitch. I was shown the neighborhood, plan options that fit my budget and discussed all options available, even options in other neighborhoods! While I didn’t end up purchasing from view, I plan to in the future!

Never called me back. No way to speak with them directly. Dont buy a home constructed my them! They do a half azzz job! My roof has abour 12 shingles put on wrong per my inspection before buying the home. Its only 2 years old and I just purchased it. How can you put shingles on thus way? They obviously stand out looking crazy and with thus last big storm they blew right off. SMH. So, no they wont call you back only emails going back snd forth like they are afraid to speak to people. Totally disgusted!

Purchased a new Armadillo home in Preston Estates in New Braunfels on 8/2020. While I understand that in most cases when one purchases a new home, there is no perfection and warranty issues arise, but how that company handles warranty items speaks volumes. Armadillo Homes apparently believes that as long as a warranty representative contacts the buyer and says theyll take care of an issue, their job is done and following up is unnecessary...whether or not the warranty issue was addressed. And it truly gets pathetic when it happens over and over again. Im of the opinion that its not my job to nag a company to fulfill their end of the contract.About a month ago, I left a poor review for this builder on the BBB site and pretty much enumerated that same complaint Im making here ... the consistent pattern of this builder saying theyre going to handle an issue, then simply disappear.Why am I posting this review here? How a company does one thing, is how they do everything. Im hoping that perhaps my sentiment echos the sentiments of others and theyll take the time to voice their grievances publicly. Change cannot occur if there is no awareness of a problem. It should also be noted that while I can call company representatives out by name, Im electing not to in the interests of discretion. Eventually, the performance of those individuals, or lack thereof, will become too obvious for the builder to ignore.

When we first decided to buy a home, we didn’t know where to start. Luckily, we went into View Homes over at the Moss brook location when we met Enrique we knew we had went to the right place. We absolutely love our home and we love the area that we are in we. We will eventually give this house to our children or use it as an investment property.

I’ve been looking for a new construction home to purchase. I was greeted by a very friendly, knowledgeable lady named Rebecca! She was awesome, very detailed and went above and beyond! Gorgeous homes as well!

Builders are very hard to get a hold of. Building materials are cheap. Out sourced jobs such as plumbing and so on very poor quality as well. Houses are just thrown up with very little consideration for quality

Rebecca Henderson is a great consultant with expert instincts to know what you need. Handles stressful situations with keen humor and very positive and professional. Kind, patient, and understanding. I highly recommend her.

I would not recommend a Harrison Home. It is sad a number of home buyers in Setterfeld Estates do not have anything nice to say about their home, but are reluctant to say anything if they ever plan on selling their home. When buying a new home, one does not expect to replace poor quality items put in by the builder with items that should have been standard in a $450,000 to $500,000 home. The old saying applies--buyers beware!

Due to Armadillo Homes still developing in Stonecreek Subdivision off of Marbach, they control the majority of the board of directors for the HOA. They have been ignoring requests for a hearing and are not communicating efficiently. They have fined us and are sending multiple harassing letters despite us having gone through the proper channels for requesting a hearing and complied with the notice letters received.

Don is one of the kindest and most professional home sales agents I have ever had the pleasure of working with 😊Please do yourself a favor and ask for her when you arrive😊

The customer service after you buy the house is horrible.I tried to talk to regional manager and he hung up on me.I asked for his boss and he refused to answer my questionI asked his name and he refused to tell me who i was talking with. Kept saying i am regional manager. Then he said if I call back he would report me to the authorities.They only guarantee workmanship for 1 year because your roof will fall apart if a good wind blows. I have owned 5 house in two states, two of them brand new and was never treated so poorly by any of the builders.Buyer be ware.
