Kennion was awesome! We started our transaction with Scott, who went on leave, which worried me a little - but the hand off was seamless and Kennion took over. He was (and still is, after closing,) friendly, responsive, and very helpful. David with construction has also been super responsive and helpful. I love my DR Horton home! I purchased my a home with them for the first time last year and they were great to work with throughout the entire approval process, working with lenders, and the final walkthrough. Scott was the sales agent for this home and he was wonderful. Their superintendent Juan was really patient with me. I used quite a bit of blue tape and he even added to things I didn’t see. They worked hard to get all the repairs done so I could close on time since I had a short window to vacate a rental.I love my house so much I’m buying a bigger, second home in the same neighborhood with my fiancé! 🙂 This time, I’ve been working with Kennion and he also has made the process smooth along with their lending team and Juan again.Thank you everyone at DRH!

I feel like I was lied to.I specifically chose the lot and house that was purchased because I was told the amenities center was going to be in their phase 1, and across the street from the lot I chose. Only to learn they lied about that and moved it to the phase 2 side. Only way we learned about this, is that they put the coming soon sign up on the phase 2 side. Oh, and no plans to connect phase 1 and 2 making it more inconvenient for those of us who are on the phase 1 side. Seems like the sales staff will say anything to get a sale, with no consequence, and say “it was subject to change.”The “HOA” is a farce, it’s an extension of DR Horton, the “HOA” officers are DR Horton employees, and gives the actual home owners no power in how their “HOA” is acting and handling activities. Meetings are just updates from the DR Horton employees, where we may submit questions in writing to be addressed at the next meeting.Finally, CMMC, the community association management company, employed by DR Horton, and paid with home owners dues, does nothing. Maybe an activity here and there, or they ask a food truck to come out (which you still need to pay for) here and there, but ultimately feels like they are trying to justify their existence by doing a few small things. The “Standards Coordinator” is abysmal, and will harass you if your grass isn’t an acceptable level of green, even though by local regulation, I can only water once a week, and the grass is dormant this time of year, but they want extra money from the home owners who are already over paying dues for amenities and services that they currently aren’t getting.

My boyfriend and I decided to buy a house in this division, we unfortunately took a small break, and my grandmother was also interested in looking for a new home in this same division.
