Stay away from all HOAs!!! This one is horridly bad, auctioning off an ACTIVE Service Member’s home while deployed! Who does that? Oh that’s right, HOAs do. Bullies. All of them.

Theyve put a lien on the home of a deployed military service member and foreclosed on his home and sold it to someone else. This is disgusting, and they should be ashamed of themselves. I wouldnt live here if it was the last place on earth.

I think a HUGE boycott and massive protest should be done for what they did to the Sgt. When an HOA Board of Directors issued this foreclosure and sold his home for $2500 in HOA fees, while he was in Turkey for 15 months working the earthquake disasters.I think each board member needs to be sued. If they called his mortgage company and saw all his payments were made on time. That should have been a clue. Now they took the time to search if he was in the military, why not do more. Now the HOA has sold his house and I hope he sues the subdivision and each board member. HOA board members carry insurance for this. If you want to act big and bad...suffer

Absolutely trash. They don’t know the people in the community at all. HOA board violated the Service Members Civil Relief Act placing a lien on a deployed service members home over $2500 in back dues and sold the house from under him at auction. They should be dissolved with all assets awarded to MSgt Banda. This is a military community. They had every opportunity to do better.

Yea I’m just here to hit these guys like the rest of you. Taking a service members home while they are deployed is the lowest scum bag move that an hoa can make. As someone who has been deployed the last thing you want to worry about is an HOA downright stealing your property and putting it for auction while you are gone….

SHAMEFUL! The thought that you evict anyone for $2,500 in HOA fees is disgusting but a service member who has been on active duty! You are the essence of pathetic! You have his employment information on file! Call the base and INQUIRE you POS! You really couldnt just pick up a phone and call the base? Really? To hard to make a phone call? THIS IS ONLY ONE REASON THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER GET INVOLVED WITH HOAS. THIS IS WHAT YOU GET! Doing this to anybody is shameful but to military personnel... sickening. You are disgusting human beings and what is a big part wrong with this country. You let the dollar override human decency.

How could you evict an active duty service member and use the excuse of non-payment. He was in a foreign country and had no way to quickly respond to their demands. This is the exact reason ALL HOA’s need to be illegal used. You all are useless.

These parasites think that you can look up a service members duty status online. They had Bandas employer information. The only way to determine military duty status is to call the unit. This is Military City, USA. No one should permit these fraudsters to continue to do businrss in our town. The Wolf Creek HOA foreclosed on a home for 2500.00 in HOA fees.

I encourage anyone else who came here from tictok to go to the actual news story (Channel 4 San Antonio) and read the comments. Apparently, the Msgts neighborhood thinks that he had great access to wifi and email while stationed in Turkey. They think that even though he was paying the mortgage, he still wasnt doing enough to maintain his home. He should have had constant contact with people state side who would sort through his mail, report everything they recieved, and relay all that information through the amazing telecommunications network that is available to soldiers stationed in the middle east during natural disasters. They decided that since he wasnt, up on his dues it was fine to sell his home out from under him. Tell me you dont know what its like to be deployed without telling me you dont know what its like to be deployed. I bet their 4th of July celebration is amazing considering how they treat actual service members.

I was planning on moving here in the coming months but after reading about how they are trying to evict an active service member that was deployed overseas assisting with disaster relief in an area destryoed by earthquakes, I will definitely settle in somewhere else, absolutely livid that they allowed this to happen in San Antonio of all places, and hope the best for this serviceman(Air Force Master Sergeant Christopher Banda) and if the supposed new owner of the home reads this shame on you for not releasing the property after gaining knowledge of who you stole it from, do the right thing already and sue the hoa for what they did and not the actual owner paying the current debt

Housing is nice. At the beginning of construction (around 2006). Customers were told there will be lot of things for childrens from swimming pool to others. They bought the houses but original builder left and other coule of builder changed at the end what people bought expecting what the originally they are told became myth. Some of the original home owner move to the neighboring location.

No community pool, even the kb homes across the street have community pool etc., small playground way in back of neighborhood. Nothing really special about this hoa, they rather gate the powerline area from people that ride atvs there and now ride up and down street and on the sidewalk.Put more stop signs.Defining not worth paying hoa fees unless you want to pay for useless things
