Im glad this nightmare is over with and I have an amazing house. I will never use this company and tell people to stay away. The few nice people dont makeup for the rest of them. The loan officer they assigned to us was just awful. Many times she would take days to get back to us. Didnt seem very confident in her job. She caused a lot of unnecessary stress for us and at times I was ready to cancel getting the house because of it. Also the notary lady on closing day is just plain rude and not friendly. That shouldnt be the person they have you meet on such a happy day. The older lady at the front desk on 2nd floor, super sweet, shes great.

DHI Mortgage helped me with 2 home purchases and I could not be happier with the service I received. The Loan Officer and Loan Processor did an amazing job of setting expectations and making sure I was informed throughout the process.

My experience with DHI has been bad from the beginning. The LO I had been assigned is very rude and bad at communicating. Many hours in between returned phone calls and texts, poor of the numbers and they seem to not want to help with concessions. I was told DHI would be taking care of a percentage on their end just to see I was charged additional for what they said they would handle. I reached out to another mortgage company and they did everything DHI said they couldn’t do. On top of it all the LO conducted an additional credit pull unnecessarily without my consent to lower the rate they said they would pay to lower. Long story short if you have other options use them.

These people completely and utterly ruined what our family had been working on for 2 years by proving false information and ignorant advice. They should be prosecuted for fraud. If you have the opportunity to finance your loan via somewhere else, even if you have to ignore the incentives they offer, do it! Do not let these people end your dreams of owning a home just because they arent properly trained. This management teams comes directly from Lennar, so they practice the same scam.

Bad. Shady. Really really stressed when there is zero reason to be because theyre either trying to force us into stuff with bully/strongarm tactics or are too lazy to just do their jobs. Definitely skirting legalities as much as humanly possible to just not get into real trouble. Regret so very much that we were talked into using them.
