This was my first time buying a home, and I would be lying if I said that I did not go into this process stressing from the jump and expecting the run around. I know that the home buying process can be discouraging, which is one reason I put if off for so long. Veterans united has very competitive rates i worked with three lenders before veterans united.VU always gave me the best rate and if not matched with more incentives. Forsure consider other lenders but always call VI when you think you have a better rate they will match the energy and if not surpass it. One thing read about the home buying process to make informed questions VU representatives answer them as they are asked.

A couple of months ago we tried applying for a mortgage through a local mortgage company, and unfortunately it wasn’t the experience we were hoping for. We tried again 7 months later and it was amazing from start to finish. Terrible experience with Supervisor Jason Sapp. Very arrogant and rude. Do not recommend. If your a veteran find a Veteran affiliated realtor, using them is a waste of time and they will not make your experience great. If you want a great home buying experience go somewhere else.

We had quite a unique situation that we told Kyle about right away. He told us it was a challenge but he would do everything to try and make it work. He never came back and said he couldnt do it and went over and beyond to help us when we don’t think anyone else could have. Also, Kyle and everyone else at VU were so kind, always reached back out to us immediately but usually never had to because they usually contacted us first. So impressed with them and there are no words for how much we would recommend them and appreciate them.

Veterans United is it! Especially for VA Loans. The single most important financial decision of my life and Veterans United made me feel like I was their only and most important customer. This company is not looking at assisting Veterans. They do not abide by the rules set that make terms of mortgages more favorable for Veterans the VA Home Loan is supposed to be providing you with. They are out to take advantage and make as much money off of you as possible. If you investigate complaints against them, you will see they have been ordered to pay restitution’s to Customers in New York. I also worked for the VA in Benefits for years. I do NOT recommend this company due to my own personal experience.

The utility companies recommended by the concierge were inaccurate. I spent quite a long time researching the service providers for our house. Also when going thru the to do list leading up to our close date, we were never able to go back and review any of the documents after we had read them once. I think they should remain available to be viewed at anytime.

When I called about a loan application for a VA Streamline Refi Id made via the internet at their main office in Missouri, the San Antonio office was mystified. They seemed disorganized and even made comments like They probably really didnt look at your application . . . (What? So Im not important???? Geez!) When I suggested that perhaps having a local loan officer I can meet with face-to-face would be more efficient than dealing with a distant rep in another state, the very nice loan rep I was speaking with said that Id have to call the main office first (!!??) My wife was listening on the speakerphone and we were really amazed at the apparent lack of professionalism or organization -- though the phone rep was pleasant to talk to. Since Im interested in a refi . . . well be looking elsewhere. I hope this candid review of Veterans United helps others.

This is a review for the company as a whole not necessarily this particular office. My overall experience was terrible! My loan officer, John Stockstill blatantly lied about the process. He stated that even though I was working with another potential mortgage company on getting a pre-qualification it wouldn’t affect my credit score for him to run it, I don’t know why I believed him!! But that one more hard inquiry will cost me thousands over time because of the new interest rate I have with my mortgage! Which is NOT with Veterans United! John Stockstill never even called me back or answered any of my emails etc. Terrible customer service definitely felt like just a number to him!!

At first things started off like they should. Then came the fun stuff. I immediately sent in all documents required of me. A week later I noticed two things were pending, one being a document explaining the addresses on my credit report and a tax transcripts request. I contacted my loan officer, Dustin Fritz, to ask why the address document showed a pending status. I told him I didnt want him or his team dropping the ball. This obviously hit a nerve with him because he immediately called me and sounded pretty angry. He told me that I hadnt submitted the address document and that I sent him a blank form even though I emailed him a copy of all the documents and uploaded them online but I guess he was too busy to check. He made me feel super special by saying that I wasnt the only loan he was working on and that he knew the loan process, Im guessing he was insinuating that I did not.I also submitted a closing costs estimate my realtor put together because closing costs was a big deal to me (I didnt want to pay any). I submitted this because Mr. Fritz was taking too long to provide me with one, which I requested. Mr. Fritz said the closing costs estimate was pretty close, so I went ahead and submitted my offer... little did I know closing costs ended up being $3,000+ more than what was estimated. So thanks to Mr. Fritz, I had to cover another $3,000!The week prior to closing I found out that they had not received my tax transcripts from the IRS and that I needed to get them myself. I had to make an appointment with the IRS to get them. I dont understand why they didnt submit the request to get the tax transcripts the day I submitted the document to them (first week) instead of waiting til the last minute to get them.Oh yeah, I had to write a letter explaining how the classes I took at Texas State University relate to my current job. WHY DOES IT MATTER!?!?!

Miguel held to his word and took care of me and my family. We got the ranch and land we always wanted thanks to Miguel with his hard work ethic and motivational drive to seek out me and my family needs and for that Miguel deserves more than 5 stars, he deserves a whole Galaxy. It was easy as a first time homebuyer granted I have a 700 credit score and no sort of residuals. As long as your appetite isnt further than your reach its almost a slam dunk. 2.5% interest rate on a 250k home with $956 a month payment and not a dollar out of pocket.

They charged me points on my loan with out approval and ended up servicing our loan... worst bank Ive ever dealt with - 8 months ago, they did they did their annual escrow review (thats usually sets your payment for the entire year). 4 months after that, they call and tell me not to cash the $1000 escrow overpayment check they sent me because it looked like my taxes were going up (a check I never got), and this was followed by VUH l;owing my house payment by $500 (from the annual escow review) and two months later they send me a $900 check for over payment from escrow, only to then raise my house payment by over $700 per month because they say my escrow account is under funded. They call to ask why Im falling behind on my house payment, when I was thinking I was over paying to principal by $500 They are a complete joke.

Miguel made sure any ask from start to close was answered. He ensured I got the lowest rate. I closed on my home stress and worry free because of him and his team.

Veterns United made my first time home buying experience fantastic. I would definitely consider working with them again on my next home purchase.

Miguel Rosinski is an exceptional loan officer. I have bought and sold at least 7 houses and he was the best. He answered all my questions about the whole loan process. He was always there when I called him with questions. He called or texted me every time we had a document to review and sign. He met the date he promised to complete the loan. He solved all the scheduling problems when other agencies did not do their jobs in a timely manner.

We love working with Veterans United! They are extremely helpful, upfront, and prompt. We would recommend them and would use them for home loans again!

Im not sure about other agent in this company, but my agent Jason Bals is so unprofessional, and not look like trying to help veteran at all.He keep saying Im not qualified, which I did get a loan now from other company. Has No patience to answer my questions, rush me to provide info but listening to me first...Anyhow, shop around for your loan, and also make sure you get a good agent here if you decide to use them

If you have a choice out of any home loan specialist, please choose Miguel Rosinski. In my personal and humble opinion everyone else would pale in comparison to him and everything he can do for a potential home buyer. If there scale was 1 to 5 (5 being the best), I would honestly have to score him off the charts around a 10.
