Ive often heard that purchasing a home is one of the most stressful situations a person can go through, I can honestly say this was not the case for me. Erika was amazing and my closing process went smoothly. One of the many things Erika did initially was to set up a meeting via zoom and reviewed the whole process of purchasing a home, she allowed times for all questions and gave me a welcome step by step kit. This helped me to understand where I was in the process to close on my home and what was left to be completed. No matter what time I called, email or text Erika was quick with her response and never me feel as though I was a burden. Working with Jeff has been fantastic. This is the fourth house I have bought - one of the side bennies of being in the military over 20 years - and my experience with finance people has spanned the full range from an incompetent bum who didnt ask for critical documentation until after I was driving a U-Haul across the country and nearly cost me the house, to one who became a family friend who adopted a dog we were fostering. Jeff hasnt adopted any dogs yet, but he did make it possible for me to get a place with a yard so I can start fostering again.Jeff was able to walk me through the entire process remotely. All arrangements were made over the phone, through texts, or emails, and all documents were signed online or with a traveling notary - at least one good thing that came out of the COVID lock-down. Even after the loan was complete, he kept me on track when I became overly focused on my packing and move. I had forgotten to submit the necessary paperwork for property tax exemption as a disabled veteran. He even scanned in the forms I needed to sign and submit since I had already packed my printer/scanner.His experience also will save me thousands in interest over the course of the mortgage. Despite the rates going up, he advised me to wait another week, as he predicted rates would drop and they did. That combination of professionalism and commitment to customer service, even after your job is technically done, is worth its weight in gold. Literally, in this case. Jeff took great care of me, and I am sure he will do the same for you.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This was the worst experience of my entire life. Every word out of Erikas mouth was a lie. I cant even begin to explain o you all what a horrible worker she is. I really hope one day she realizes that lying to customers gets you nowhere in life. I hope one day she realizes that she needs to find a new job out of this field. I will never want to work with her or this company ever again, and I will never recommend working with her or Wallick & Volk. I am finally giving them my final payment, and I am VERY glad that my mortgage has been moved over to another company who has already been so helpful and nice when speaking with them. I had read a bad review on Erika on here before, and I agree with that review in every word. I just aw a very positive review about Erika, and I think that lady was smoking something, cause there is no way working with this chick was a positive experience. She straight up LIED to my face, and tried to get me to believe something that didnt even happen. I am in such a hole because of Wallick & Volk and this lying person. (really hard to not call her what I really want to at this point).

Having to edit my review as it came out LATER that Erika left out the “per diem” portion of the “Cash To Win” scenario. I feel completely fooled and taken advantage of as it is over $10,000 that is taken out of my pocket that she chose not to disclose, even after I SPECIFICALLY asked her “There are NO other fees or “catches,” other than the 1.5%. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in how I have been treated.

Bad experience, I dropped my realtor who I guess was friends with the lender, so the lender (lisa.a) literally blocked me from her phone, and has ignored all my emails, I later found out that I was pre-approved and that she went against guide lines to do so. Which would have really screwed me. Thank God for my other lender and new realtor. But very unprofessional.

I do not recommend this place, I had explained Erica my situation she had told me she was going to put me on the first time home assistance program at the end she didnt and I had to find a way to get the money they were asking for the down-payment luckily my realtor knew about the situation and she was able to get the owner of the house to pay for the other half...I absolutely do not trust this place and when people ask me who was my lender i absolutely tell them I do not recommend this place...and now I get a letter that they recently had a cybersecurity incident that someone might of taken my information, I dont understand how you guys still have my information on your systems
