We have been here for almost a year and Chris has been the most helpful when we needed either extra space or small repairs. I’m happy to be here and will continue to resume residency here as long as our business is active. TEPS.

Chris the manager gave a quote for one front commercial office and told me that I was the first in the list; that the only pending action was to wait for them to clean up since the previous company was an irrigation company and left chemicals & organic material inside. After more than a month I went back and he wanted to charge 40% more than what I was quoted in other unit in the back; because he lease the front one to another company. (Ignoring the waiting list order.)

Chris has excellent customer service. Was sold by his honesty and was a gentleman to explain and show us the unit sizes. Thank you again!!

We used one of the temperature controlled units for a couple of months. Everything was clean and we didn’t have any issues.

I had my car in this storage parking lot inside, whoch there is a security gate with a code to get in, i left on a tripe for 15 days and when i got back, all my wheels was stolen, the workers did nothing and the video recording was only for 10 days and anything before 10 days recorded will be deleted, so fishy place and workers i won’t recommend this place if you value your cars or whatever you have in the storage.

Great process, friendly staff, very helpful, clean facility, secure gate entry and exit, has an app for entry. Chris is the man!

I just recently acquired a storage unit from the location on Culebra last month. The agent Chris is absolutely wonderful. He took the time to explain the process and cost associated with my unit.Because I needed a 2nd unit he made sure to get it within close proximity of my existing one. Have been using the Culebra location for about 4 years- the Staff is so accommodating---- Love that they are concerned about their renters- One time I did not lock my unit correctly when I left and they were so kind to call me and have me go recheck it!!!!!Who else cares about their renters? Been a tenant here since 2019. Ive had two property managers first Chris and now Macie they were both the best‼️ The facility is affordable clean and just the perfect units for a small business. Nice place, very helpful employee but Ive had nothing but trouble with my electronic door. Came on a Sunday of course the office was closed couldnt get in my unit. Had it go back home they fixed it the next day.

I really could say so much about this company because their customer service was far beyond what I could have imagined but let me keep this short and sweet ...Chris truly cares about his customers. There is an answering service for when he has to show people units or he is checking the property but he always calls back right away even if you dont leave a message. If you need a unit asap he will make sure you get it asap even if it means he has to do more work.I could keep going on and on about how amazing Chris is but I will stop cause I know most have already stop reading by now.If you need a storage unit choose this location because you keep much more that a basic storage unit you get A++ service.

Best storage around town we went price shopping for units in town we had only 1 day to find a storage unit large enough to hold our entire house that we lived in for 8 years...then we fell upon lock away storage and had the help of Chris!! He has the most amazing customer service and knew we were in serious need of storage in a hurry he helped us out so much gave us an amazing deal and even brought the price down lower once we returned after price shopping!! He even let us use the large truck for 5 hours to move majority of our stuff. I highly recommend this place and there staff!! Chris needs a raise he was there everyday and makes me feel very safe knowing my stuff is in the right hands!!! So a big thank you to Chris and lock away yall are the best place in town I will tell all my friends about yall!!!

I can say enough about the staff and property. Convenient location even for me who has a 30 travel trailer parked outside here. Easy access and perfect layout I think is another reason I like this place. That and well to be honest, the rates are lower than any j have looked. Trust me I looked around before this one. Way to go Lock-Away! Your staff is beyond compare and the convenience of 24hr access is awesome!!

Well this is a true story. I asked my wife to go rent a unit at another location and of course she went to this location. And, I believe things happen for many reasons and well of course my wife got it right again by picking the location that is by far exceeded my expectations. And, the staff goes over and beyond being helpful and the property MGR is one that has compassion and is a very passionate towards his passions. A very good property MGR and this is from my heart and mind if you have any problems or issues regardless of what we may think Chris is very approachable and understanding. So thanks Chris and your wonderful staff. So in closing my advice is this communication is key to all possibilities in life be it in business, life partner and just life in general talk and listen if u need help with anything don’t be afraid or embarrassed ask you will see sides of ppl you think they may not have but turn out they do have the advice we need to make us feel so much better. Thanks Chris and I appreciate everything I have made many mistakes in life but this is one choice I truly believe my wife got right. I love this property!! So rent here on Culebra Road and talk to Chris or anyone on his wonderful staff.

Quick easy access and affordable prices

One of the best customer service experiences ever! I loved working with Macie; she was extremely understanding and worked with me on multiple occasions throughout my 2 month stay in an indoor storage unit. Will use again if I’m back in San Antonio. Customer service is a must for me and changes everything. I never do reviews either on just about anything (haha) but I can’t rave about this company enough!

Ive been nothing but satisfied with my rental at Lockaway storage. My shop was there 4OUR CRNR #504. Chris and the rest of the staff have been awesome. I would highly recommend renting a unit with these good people, especially for new businesses just starting out and need a place to start small. They have plenty of options for rental space and very helpful with any questions you might have. If I didnt find a place closer to my residence I wouldve stayed but logistically it made sense to make that move.

Mauricio provided awesome service in my time of need! Lock Away Storage came right on time in the middle of my moving needs! Convienent location around the corner from my home provided me easy access to my belongings when moving into my new place. Mauricio & Chris are awesome, provided excellent customer service! My family and I were looking for some storage places close and reasonable. Just speaking to Chris on the phone as we say in the military gave me a warm and fuzzy about the establishment. Chris was very professional gave us a grand tour of the place and also showed us the storage sizes that were very suitable and within budget. I have some personnel that I would definitely recommend going through Chris for lock away storage. If we return to San Antonio, we definitely will use this facility again.! Excellent storage facility! Ive been a customer at this location for 5+ years. Mark (the new manager) is very professional, knowledgable, honest and helpful. When he first took over responsibilities at this property, he noticed that my storage unit did not have a security lock (!!!). He immediately notified me and even secured my unit with one of his own property locks. On a seperate occasion, I was moving some items into my unit and it was near closing time. Mark was patient and even waited past the closing hour for me to complete my move. I was so impressed! He is a far better manager than his predecessor. I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Im so pleased with the service I receive and highly recommend this storage facility!! Thanks for everything!~ Sheila

Sad story… my husband is an OTR driver. I travel with him on the road 24/7/365. We had a credit card on file to pay for my storage unit via autopay. Unfortunately, the credit card was renewed via mail. By the time I realized it, my unit had been sold at auction.

Beware. This is an unsafe storage facility.My camper trailer was almost stolen here. Both locks were broken off, battery case opened and fuse removed. The stupid thief couldnt follow through as they could not figure out how to use the electric jack.The facility video showed my trailer except ... Mysteriously... When the thief was trying to steal it. Manager claimed the wind affected the video quality. Really?Do not use this place unless you are willing to lose your valuable possession.
