Jean Marie Benz took on selling our house in a neighborhood notorious for taking a very long time to sell homes - ours sold in 14 days with 2 contracts.She does it by using her expertise in the field.1. She can stage a house like no other. I did not recognize our house and to be honest, loved what she did so much, we will are taking what she did to our new home. It truly was fantastic! You have to trust her - you may not understand during the process, but trust me, she will shock you with how great your house will look! LISTEN to her - it will be worth it!!!2. She actually markets your home! I know, crazy right? She puts your home online, does flyers and open houses. I had many comments from friends / neighbors about how often our house popped up everywhere, so when I say she markets your home, I am not kidding. I had a pleasure working with Robyn to find a rental property, and I couldnt have been more impressed with the level of service I received, especially with me being in another state. Cara is nice enough, but when a sellers agent seems to be advocating for buyers that is an issue. Many offers over list came in first two days, when the first contract didnt work out, we wanted to adjust our list price much higher. She advocated against that and stated that would be rude to the other eight people whom had placed offers. The market was clearly auto-correcting our price point to a much higher level but she was determined to satisfy eight buyers whose offers had not been accepted by us. So we picked from that group of offers.It was made clear to her before agreeing to hire her that at our low list price point repairs or concessions were not something we were willing to do. Again after accepted the next offer, she advocated for the buyer to get minor and non-urgent repairs made or for us to give monetary concessions to buyer; buyer was over list but well under market and appraised value. Per Cara, our home inspection was extremely clean, so her pushing back on the buyers request should have been easy for a seasoned agent, but Cara has only been an agent two years, and this may be the issue.Again she advocated for the buyer when they wanted to extend out 30-day closing by an additional eight days, and wanted us to create a list for buyer to prove the financial impact on us when we hesitated to do it. When it was stated, we would not create this list because any rational buyer would know that paying utilities for another eight days would be something must sellers would have heartache with, she stated, I was fighting her.Out of eight agents used to purchase/sale properties over the decades, she is the only one we would not use again.

I had worked with two different realtors before I met JJ, but I was unable to find a house that met my needs in terms of price and location. JJ provided valuable advice regarding both. One thing I really appreciated about her approach was that instead of just encouraging me to visit the houses I found on Zillow and close a deal, she offered thoughtful insights. My wife and I were fortunate enough to work with Monique Brim, who was specifically referred to us by another agent with a different firm. Monique had to work extra hard for us, because we are elderly out of town buyers who needed to do most things remotely. There were other twists and turns, but in the end we found and bought a house that we really love, in an ideal location and at a price we can afford. The words I most remember Monique saying are “yes, I can help with that.” I don’t recall ever hearing her say “no!” Even now, well after the sale is complete, she is still jumping through hoops to help us out and answering a million questions. Our experience was so amazing that I’m not even sure where to begin! A little over a year ago my wife and I were living in a tiny apartment with our two ESA’s. We felt a bit crammed and reached out to my father’s realtor April Kerr. We had tried to buy a house but couldn’t at the time, and although that would’ve deterred most realtors, it didn’t deter April!
