Avoid Leasing from Marin Realty at all costs.We were perfect tenants for 3 years. We treated this home as our own. Auto payments and we even did regular trash clean up around the neighborhood.We never had any issues until we moved out.You will not receive your deposit back in any meaningful capacity. You will be double charged for things you already paid for, like cleaning and landscape services.It’s remarkable that these businesses are still around.Attached are pictures for how we left the property. We’ve been renting a property through Marin Realty for a year now. From the very beginning, we’ve had issues with the AC not cooling properly. Now, after a full year, the AC has completely stopped working. We immediately notified them about the issue, but it has taken them an entire month to resolve it.We’re not difficult tenants and have never caused any problems, but this experience has been incredibly frustrating. I deeply regret renewing our lease with them. I’ve heard great things about other property management companies, so I strongly recommend doing your research and reading reviews before signing with Marin Realty.

Jaime Marin did an exceptional job of guiding us thru the home sale process from contract explainations, actions/questions, open house requirements, showings, and sellers costs .We are a 92 year old couple, and are grateful for his guidance, professionalism,and gentle understanding of our limitations.

I truly regret signing a lease with this management company. Not only do they have awful customer service, They will rudely charge you for money that you do not owe. Every month I have to show them proof that the rent was paid , the online portal to pay never works , and they continue to tell me that I have an unpaid balance but I have receipts of all my paid months that were paid ON TIME. I’m so disturbed by their lack of professionalism and customer service . This will be the last time I ever signed a lease through this company.

They refused to provide me a copy of crime report which is a right as a tenant. Jaime has no manner and will get a complaint on TREC. Youre messing with a wrong person and see how long you can feed your family. Karma will come back to you and hunt you. Also, I was willing to pay double the security deposit because my old apartment is notorious for not answering calls. They must doing something shady to collect money from tenants. I had a terrible experience with Marin Realty & Property Management. Mr. Jaime Marin was friendly until he had our deposit for our apartment. Once we had sent in the deposit he wouldnt respond to maintenance requests, questions about the property, or complaints about other neighbors who were playing music so loud it rattled our floors. On average it would take one week to get ahold of Jaime Marin because we would have to follow up twice before he would respond in an aggressive, rude, and dehumanizing manner because we were bothering him.Based on other reviews, hes okay to sell or buy houses with, but DO NOT RENT from him! As soon as he has your money he doesnt care about you in the slightest. You will deal with unresponsive and unkind management. Maintenance is a joke. We made a request that wasnt fulfilled in the four months we lived here. They will also try to weasel out as much money from your deposit as possible! We were charged a $100 mandatory cleaning fee when we moved in, but the apartment was newly built, had muddy footprints and sawdust everywhere from the builders, and then we were charged another $200ish in cleaning fees when we moved out!Terrible experience. If you can avoid working with Jaime Marin, do so!!!!!

First off, Marin Group charged me a pet deposit on a ESA certified dog and claimed he could charge me at his discretion. This man should not have a license to manage, sell, or rent ANY property. Marin is a fraud. He charged me on wear and tear items upon move out and exceeded cleaning fees associated with the deposits I made at move in…my 65 year old mother, her brothers and sisters helped her to clear our property from the unit and she tirelessly cleaned everything to make sure we maximized out the refundable deposits. Things I was charged for was all notated on the walk through sheet that I still have copies of..btw when the garage door opener broke bc of a wore out belt…it didn’t even get fixed bc I assume he thought we were moving out in a few weeks anyway-we we’re still living in the home with a broken garage door that didn’t lock. This man will steal your money…do not trust him.

I really enjoyed working with Jaime Marin & his team on several transactions! I really felt the team collaboration to get our clients to the finish line!

We’ve rented through Jaime Marin Property Management for almost a year and a half now. We’ve had a great experience, they’ve been quick to take care of any maintenance issues, website photos were pretty accurate, online payment portal is easy to use. We haven’t had any issues! Will update with moving out experience whenever that happens 😊

Not available to quickly repair broken 2x AC during summer. They did not return my security deposit based on falsified itemization. The house was dirty, stained, and STUNK when I moved in. I paid someone to clean it, and it was still filthy. I worked hard on my house while I lived there AND even harder to leave it in better condition when I moved out. I was charged a cleaning fee (it was pristinely cleaned by me) and a front yard damage fee (there was never a front yard to begin with), and those are just 2 examples. Thoroughly disappointed and do NOT recommend living in these properties unless you don’t care about getting your hard-earned money back.

The second night in 731 leopard hollow the ceiling was leaking from the master tub. They never fixed the issue the whole 12 months I was there. Numerous phone calls asking about when the leak and ceiling would be fixed and they pushed me off, but they won’t hesitate to keep sending you text reminders about rent. They kept more then half of my deposit when I left the house in perfect condition! They charged me a cleaning fee to move in and a cleaning fee to move out. This company does not care for their tenants & they’re just after the money. They contract with “Dreamscape” and the guy who owns dreamscape taxes up for everything. Half of the things they charged me for upon move out was a lie. I bought brand new light bulbs and even put a doorbell (I moved in with no doorbell) and Dreamscape said 5 lightbulbs were burned out for $30.00. A toilet paper holder $30. $450 for “touch ups” when the house was in GOOD condition. I also cut the grass before leaving and apparently it wasn’t good enough that was another $80.00 deducted. I’ve rented with other rental company’s and always got the majority of my deposit back and they resolved any issues right away. Out of $1775.00 deposit they only gave me $665.00 back. Pictures below of how I left the house & they still kept majority of my deposit. You can also see the hole in the ceiling that I had to live with for 12 months over the kitchen table. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else. I also did reach out to them concerning my deposit & they never emailed me back.

Realtor Jaime Martin is a very honest & hard working realtor, he helped us buy our first home. Any time we needed clarity or reassurance he was always available to assist us no matter the time of day. Jaime felt more like a friend than just a realtor. He will definitely always be our go to realtor & we will refer all of our friends/family to him!

This management company is awful! They only care about profits, not their tenants. Everything is poorly run. If you value your sanity, avoid them! Renting from them has been a terrible experience. Their treatment has left me incredibly frustrated and angry. Stay far away!

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MAN! We rented 5811 Providence Oak in San Antonio for two years and we had Jaime Marin as our landlord. Throughout these two years we kept the house as clean as possible and would always call as soon as something went wrong. We also diligently kept up with yard work since that was part of our lease agreement. My roommate was my cousin and at the very end of our lease our other cousin moved in for the last month before they moved elsewhere together. We did not add him to the lease since we thought they would find a place within a week or two so I can understand Jaime being upset with us for not letting him know. However, I believe that because of this he REFUSED to give us any of our $1450 deposit back. We were charged $740.42 for house cleaning services alone even though I am a complete neat freak and cleaned the apartment for over 8 hours as well as hiring a carpet cleaner. We cleaned the fridge, oven, garbage disposal, every inch of each baseboard and everywhere else you could think of in the house. There were no holes in any walls, no appliances were in any kind of bad state and there were no stains on the carpet other than darkened areas from foot traffic and an accidental one inch burn mark. When I questioned about these charges he just kept stating that the house was dirty, or in his words, the house was duty. I provided him with information on what he is and isnt allowed to charge us for and all he kept saying was that the house was dirty and we wouldnt have accepted the house if it was dirty so neither should he. He provided several pictures trying to explain how dirty the house was and in not a SINGLE one of them did ANYTHING look dirty. I am not nearly as concerned with getting my money back as I am with this mans lack of principle and morals. We were nothing but excellent tenants the whole time we lived there: making sure we took care of the house and yard and always paying rent on time. I just wish we were treated with the same respect we gave the house and landlord over the last two years but I guess thats just too much to ask from someone like Jaime Marin. Please save yourselves from this turmoil and do not rent any properties from this man.

Jaime is not only an honest and great Realtor but a reliable Property manager. He helped us buy our first home and years later helped manage it. We will continue to use his services.

When I first decided to move to Texas it was a very stressful process to even start since it was an out of state move. I was lost as to where to start because I knew not one realtor in Texas. I googled and yelped realtors in San Antonio area and Jaime Marins company were one of the first ones that popped up with great ratings and reviews. After reading the reviews I quickly called Jaime and left a message. He called me back the next day and after briefly explaining to him what we were planning to move into, I felt that I didnt need to do more searching. I trusted my gut and chose to go with Jaime Marin. My wife and I couldnt be anymore pleased with the way he handled our home buying from beginning to end. Our situation was a bit of a hassle but Jaime was able to break down any barriers that arrose. He attended every walk through while facetiming us (since we are out of state). He communicated with us very quickly via group text messaging. If we had any questions or concerns about anything during the escrow period he was available for us 24/7 and with the time difference that helped us very much. I could not express how grateful and blessed we are to have had Jaime as our realtor! I DEFINITELY recommend Jaime as the best realtor!

Jaime Marin has a lot of experience, his customer service is excellent and he is also creative when you need help with difficult deals. I would recommend him for any type of realty services.

I would give them less stars if I could. They refused to respond or help when there was situation with a neighbor and actually yelled at my son for bugging them after he was threatened by a neighbor. Terrible management and they basically stole $185 from the security deposit. They also lied about trying to get ahold of us as co-signers and when they sent the deposit check. Rude, unhelpful, liars.DO NOT MOVE HERE!

Dishonest, rude, belligerent, and the worst management Ive ever dealt with. Jaime Marin is a bully who doesnt care about anything but your money AND WILL try to cheat you out of your security deposit.

Terrible experience. Took all of a $1450 deposit for shampooing the carpets after we had them done, applying touch up paint, and trash that was left behind in the dumpster. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! Completely unprofessional when asked about the charges, and was unable to provide proof that the house was left in condition beyond normal wear and tear.

This man is fair. I would lease from Mr. Marin again. I received about half my security deposit back from a leased home me and my two kids lived in for over two years. There was definitely excessive wear and tear (theyre teens) and I was surprised to see a refund at all.

This review is in regards to home buying. The team was very communicative, and our agent, Ramona Baron, in particular went above and beyond to help us find our home! It’s been a very smooth process so far!

Jaime was awesome and all his team was amazing. so relatable could always speak our mind and our concerns. we used then 2 times and we would go back to them again.
