Remington Ranch by Meritage Homes

This Meritage community could be really nice, but unfortunately, the trash around the community and specifically behind our and neighbors’ homes and in the front yard is a big issue! We understand that there is still construction going on , but we complaint more than once with the construction department and sale, but the issue has not been resolved. In our front yard we pick up daily blown trash coming from construction workers ‘ food and beverages plus construction material coming from the sites. The green, well once upon a time green space behind our back yard is becoming a trash dumpster for construction trash!!! Every time I open my MB window blinds or I am sitting on my back porch, I only see trash.(see pictures below). I texted project manager requesting to come to clean , no response on that and nothing was done! I called also HOA, but mangers are never available to talk and they never call back. Also, there is also a lot of road trash across the community entrance that keeps accumulating! I lived in many places in the US, but San Antonio TX has so much trash and clearly Meritage does not care about keeping the community clean!!’ More pictures to come.

BUYER BEWARE! Meritage didnt wait long enough for the ground to settle before building. Multiple families in Harlach Farms (right down the street) are dealing with foundation issues 2-4 years into being in their new builds. Cracked drywall throughout, attic fires due to faulty wiring/incomplete work, AC issues. Our* toilet tanks were installed CRACKED causing water leaks >> water damage to cabinetries and walls. Multiple families are experiencing incomplete work orders, or a 12-16 week turn around on items. Beautiful homes, bad builder!

I visited this community yesterday and the sales agent was very nice and knowledgable. At the time of my visit, they had so many sales going on. The community is new and very well maintained. I would recommend this being any ones new home!

Do not buy a home from Meritage. Their home are poorly built and they refuse to make any repairs even after admitting it was installed incorrectly.

Absolutely terrible experience. Customer service was horrible, the sales counselor does not answer phone or email. Also I was lied to about closing costs. BUYERS BEWARE
