Ghetto neighborhood. Neighbors play loud music outside every day. Two families living in many of these single family homes. Neighbors leave their vehicles parked in front of other peoples homes.Loud dogs bark outside for 10 hours per day. Low class people moving in. HOA will NEVER enforce any rules.DO NOT MOVE HERE. This neighborhood is a low class extension of Culebra.
Not sure why the HOA not providing security services for our neighborhood they spend our money half million dollars for trees only no gates no security patrol alot of break in to the vehicles
This HOA does not represent our great community. Our neighborhood looks worse due to lack of care of our HOA. Our public green spaces barely get mowed, weeds take over everywhere. Pools get shut down on hot, sunny day because its raining somewhere.High salaries for lack of care and lack of responsibility towards our residents! We have great residents and a great community. Unfortunately, our HOA does not fit with us. We deserve people on the HOA who live in our community and care about its residents. Not outsiders who give a rats a.. about us
Neighborhood is OK but the HOA fees are some of the highest in the area and as far as I can tell they dont do anything but take a check. Arent particularly worried about property standards or even if folks dogs are running around biting people. Pool is nice when its not closed for months on end to perform minor maintenance. If youre renting probably alright.
Disappointment. One of the pools is never clean and the other is constantly broken (for years). The amenities are never available and the gym is seriously dated and worn. The landscaping is never done and the HOA is argumentative whenever you bring up issues.
Chesmar homes are beautiful! I visited several communities in my search for a builder and hands down Chesmar builds a much better home than others because of all the “included” details they have where other builders charge you for them. A finished home turns out beautiful every time and will never looked short of a model home. All their staff have been great to work with, especially Jobie!
Now that my home is sold, I can finally be honest. First the positives: The trails and outdoor spaces to include the playground and pool. Luckily the graffiti that plagued that area appears to have died down.Purchasing a home in this community was the biggest mistake of my adult life. From the burglary that Bexar County Sheriff did little in responnse to other than provide me a piece of paper to fill out, to the misrepresentation by the developer and builders of the apartments that were built in what was shown to be green space when I purchased my home, the overall experience was a major disappointment. Mediocre schools as well as an overtaxed community make this an easy one star rating. Luckily I am blessed enough to be able to move my family to a school outside of the San Antonio area. I would NOT recommend this community to anyone, especially military. I am sure the traffic will improve now that they are developing Culebra road, but since Bexar county continues to approve new developments further west, it will be a major pain for quite some time. I fully support the National Shooting Range as they had been in that location well before a developer decided to plop a community right next door, but the noise is quite annoying, especially on the weekends. I am very glad to be out of the community even at a loss in selling my home.
The HOA is extremely inconvenient with enforcing anything besides lates fees. At one point in time the neighborhood and HOA were extremely nice and well maintained. We have been here since 2015 and have noticed a drastic decline in the neighborhood and HOA enforcement. Such a disappointment and we will be relocating to different neighborhood by June 2021
What is with all these mega tract housing projects using Ranch in their name? Stillwater Ranch, Valley Ranch, Kallison Ranch? Where is the Ranch part of the neighborhood, am I missing something? All I see is what used to be historic ranches with 100 year old oak trees bull dozed down and replaced with pre-fab, slapstick cookie cutter homes that are built 6ft apart on postage stamp lots. There is virtually zero investment potential in tract housing. If you want to sell, you will have to compete with multiple other listings of the identical or very similar houses, competition and supply drives down prices. I can assure that your builder upgrades such as nicer countertops that you paid triple the going rate for will not make one iota of difference when it comes time to sell.In 20 years, this will be another rundown tract housing project. The only winner is the developer, who is taking every advantage to maximize their profit margin. I wouldnt have a problem if they developed these areas into neighborhoods, but neighborhoods they are not, theyre tract housing projects, which is bad for the community in the long run.
Great pool, and small gym, a basketball court and 2 tennis courts. The aesthetics of the amenities center is great. However, this is not a public pool. Private, hoa member, only.
Great neighborhood for older people and young families to enjoy amenities..Very safe because neighbors look out for each other.Stillwater Ranch is a very close community.
Beautiful homes very nice neighborhood. Love the pool and workout area.
