Roberta responded faster than any other time I have inquired about a property. She is quick in turnaround time and communicates directly to you. I love how she respected my time but also got me approved faster than most. I was nervous knowing properties go fast and she didnt hesitate. She assured me a quick and smooth move in and it was! The attention she puts in to you as tenant shows how much she cares for you beyond being a property manager. Thank you for having Roberta on your team!

I lived in SA for almost 20 years and never have I felt more exploited than during the years I rented through this company. Overlooked maintenance requests, being charged $300 fee a pop for garbage disposer maintenance landlords are required to do, $300 fee for landscaping when the grass was already cut. Pretexts to give back as little of my security deposit as possible. In the end I didn’t even stand up for myself because I just wanted to walk away and never think about Remax again. Most stressful agony filled rental experience of my life.

I picked a home based on my 4 year experience with a prior remax agent that took very good care of me as a tenant.I filled out an application and paid $150 for a home. The paper asked for a couple things I would like to be fixed so I added them. Very small things. I even offered to do them myself to make the house look less like an eye sore.The realtor got an attitude with me and quoted market price as of I should be grateful to live in a house with rust, holes in the wall and a great big crack in the floor.Next thing I know I get a denial letter from an other number saying they would send the reason to my address on the paper and then we are ghosted.I requested the letter be sent to our hotel in town but they wont even tell me if its been mailed. We check out today and dont even know where its going and cant get it until we have all of our mail forwarded to the rental place we do find.Save your money. Dont lease here. They arent in it to for the owner and the tenant. Its just the owner and your money they want.Im sure God helped us dodge a bullet here. I am very grateful to not work with them.

Dan Beary went above and beyond all other agents with whom I have worked! He noted discrepancies and issues that were missed or neglected by previous property managers and agents. When needed repairs were identified he took care of them himself (planted shrubs in the front yard, repaired DIY projects, etc.). He was an excellent communicator and always available for assistance. He was also very experienced in marketing and property valuation which was instrumental in the quick sale of my house and ultimately, at the best price point for the current market. Extremely satisfied customer.

Roberta is an amazing Property Manager. As a client, Roberta makes me feel that I am the most important client she has, even though she is always busy. I am an absent property owner, however Roberta is always making sure to takes great care of the repairs or details that may be needed on my property. Everything gets done on a timely matter and my renters are very happy.Roberta will go out of the way to do things right. Mrs. Roberta was phenomenal from start to finish. When I told her what I was looking for as a renter, I already knew what I was asking for was almost impossible in today’s market. Within an hour I received a call with a few options. The home I decided on was in need of a rehab, which she and her team did a great job completing. She was in constant communication with me throughout the entire process and offered several pictures during the process of the rehab as well as updates on the timeline for completion. She did everything possible to ensure that I was in my home by the timeline I originally wanted. Another thing I really liked was that throughout the process she showed a genuine concern for both my and the homeowners best interest. As long term tenants of a home managed by this office, we had a very positive experience.The home we rented was very well kept, nearly new and was spotless when we arrived.We had an especially good working relationship over the years with our property manager, Fran Godschalk! You knew Fran was working to maintain the home well for the owners, while also attending to whatever we needed addressed as the tenants.The online portal for payments and submission of maintenance requests really made living there easy to manage. Upon move out, we were given clear and detailed instructions on the condition in which we needed to leave the property. (Also appreciated having some suggested cleaning vendors - made my job a lot easier since I was busy moving!) I was selling a piece of property which was unusual in several ways, and I was extremely selective in looking for an agent who would represent it appropriately. We were new to the area and rented a home while we got familiar with the area and decided where it was we wanted to purchase a home. When we were ready to purchase we were put in contact with Tony Martinez. From the onset, Tony was very knowledgeable as a realtor and with the areas we were looking to purchase. He was very helpful and kept in touch with us every step of the way.We gave him a list of must-have preferences and features as well as deal killers for the home we were looking for. He forwarded us many potential candidates as soon as homes became available on the market (well before they reach sites like Opendoor and Zillow). Tony periodically checked in with us to make sure our search was going okay via phone, email and text. Setting up appointments to view homes was easy and he was always early and knew the pertinent features of the home such as age, square footage, surrounding businesses etc.Once we found the home we wished to buy, the purchase process was very quick and very easy compared to the last time we purchased a home. Almost all of it was done digitally via secure document signing (via DocuSign). When it came time to sign the final documents, we met at his office and we were in and out in less than an hour!Tony went above and beyond in many instances and surprised us many times over with his quality of service and attention to detail. If you are in the market for a home and youre in the San Antonio area, I can unequivocally recommend his services!

Was looking for a home for rent and had everything situated and ready. The realtor that was in contact with to rent a home was Liz niemietz which has horrible communication. The house I was looking to be able to rent and was ready on the spot with first months rent a deposit and I was not able to get it because Liz did not communicate about what was missing on the application and showed no effort in trying to help get everything done as soon as possible.

Fran was my property manager for over 3 years and she was a pleasure to work with! She was always available, quick to respond and eager to resolve any issues. She was extremely helpful during some tough times and during the move out. I would highly recommend her!

I initially wrote a 5 star review for Roberta Anton and Remax when I first moved in May 2016. Because of my excellent credit, I had an initial great experience and move in was easy until I gave notice March 2019 that I would be relocating and moving May 2019. After I gave my move out notice, I felt like I was being harassed about the owner driving by and requesting a tree to be replaced and disappointment with the yard. She sent me a follow up text about tree replacement, but due to the weather the tree began to bloom (I sent her pics). From that point she still continued to send text messages that the owner was driving by and not happy with the property or the yard. The yard has been properly maintained the same since I have been in the house. I never had complaints or problems May 2016 -Feb 2019; it was only after I gave my move-out notice did the owner start suddenly driving by the house and start disapproving.I also felt retaliated against when Roberta asked me to physically put up a Remax sign in the yard and make my house available for viewing. At one point she sent a demeaning text stating she did not have to give ample notice to me before showing my home (as a show of force to make my house available). She knew my job required I travel, but was insensitive and resistant to work with me during this transition. This really caused a lot of undue stress on me. I saved all the demeaning and hostile text messages and dont mind sharing. Maybe she is just not aware of her bullying/ hostile text communication style.As I prepared to move out, Roberta recommended a carpet cleaning vendor, and after I used the vendor, the carpet still looked horrible if not worse when they finished. I have attached photos of the vendor Roberta/ Remax recommended (in the first picture, this is what the carpet looked like when the vendor finished; it appears nothing was done). I expressed my disappointment to the vendor and to Roberta about the recommended vendor. A week later, I had the carpet shampooed using a different method and I was pleased with those results (as seen in second pic below). I am being told the carpet is still not clean in the after photo and another vendor was recommended by Roberta.The experiences I have had with Roberta since giving my notice, leads me to believe there are bad business practices with her and or Remax. I have read enough poor reviews on this site to escalate a written complaint since my incident does not seen to be isolated. The house has been cleaned and ready for move out, but I am being told it has not been cleaned, which is also a personal insult (I have videos the house cleaned). This appears to be a conspiracy to not return my security deposit, but its not okay.Robertas text communication is very unprofessional, intimidating and unfriendly especially when attempting to assess liabilities on occupants. I was even text assaulted on Sunday while in church until I demanded she stop with the Sunday text messages. I noticed the extreme change in her behavior when she was attempting to rent to me compared to her move-out communication which became hostile and aggressive. I was very disappointed that my experience with Remax was marred at the end based on my move-out experience with someone that lacks customer service and tactful communication skills. Beware of this sinister behavior as a future occupant working with this person. I have been told that there are movers ready to move in June 4th after seeing the place I occupied, but Im also being told it is not clean? There are agencies that regulate this type of activity and I do plan to expose it. I hope this review can help customers that find themselves in a similar situation. The experience should be good from start to finish, not just one or the other.

Dan Beary handled the sale of our home. We couldnt be more pleased. Dan was beyond courteous and prompt in his responses to our questions and concerns. Roberta the property manager flipped two of my houses in 10 days and got new tenets within 1 day of listing. She is a pleasure to work with and also is takes care of things with a sense of urgency.

My husband and I are relocating to Texas from another state. We were looking for a house to rent. We visited in the beginning of June and the house we chose was taken. The agent-Roberta told us she was sorry, she was the third party person. Roberta gave us her word and held to it that she would help us find a house., her house. Ms Roberta FaceTime me the house and I like the sized of the home looking forward to seeing it in person.

My wife and I just wanted to express how appreciative we are of RE/MAX North-San Antonio. To try and summarize our experience: We were in a near dire situation to rent a new home. As we were on a month to month contract at the time (in which I do NOT recommend to anyone). Anyway, we happened to notice a house across the street from where we lived now (then) available to rent. We saw a RE/MAX agent (John Harris) outside the house. So, we went over to talk to him about our situation. We were completely honest about everything as we do in all matters. He appeared to be sympathetic, invited us to come and meet with him at his office after we had submitted a rental application. During that meeting it was clear to us that he had a great empathy of our situation. Anyway, John Harris did some research for us, and he was able to get us approval for our application, as we were near out of hope.We were soon introduced to, Roberta Anton, with RE/MAX’s Property Management division, who was also greatly sympathetic to our situation, and bent over backwards to assure us there are/were no problems with us renting from them. To the point, Roberta, made sure our move in went smoothly, and that the house was in a proper move in condition. We cannot say enough good things about Roberta, and she is clearly in a class by herself in the way she provides rental services.Furthermore, I would also like to thank the RE/MAX North-San Antonio’s broker/owner, Kathleen Keating, for her efforts, as clearly a team effort is what seems to make them stand apart from others!We would offer more than 5 stars, if Google allowed it, as they all clearly went above and beyond anything we would have imagined. Thank you all at RE/MAX North-San Antonio for proving to us how important it is in choosing a landlord as they in turn deem it important in choosing who they would rent to. It’s a win-win situation.

I have no words for this company specially for Roberto Anton ...... I was truly looking forward to working with them and renting a property that was of my interest seems like they don’t want to do any business I’ll take my business somewhere else!!!!! Also had to request some time off work to pick up the application fee money that she didn’t want to run through because she said that i owed $20 I told her the agent said $35 per adult that’s why I went ahead and got the money order and fill out the applications for him. I guess there’s no communication within the company employees!!!!!!!! And no Roberta just because ypur a property manager doesn’t mean you’re above anybody!

Do not do business with this location. Overall I have had no issues with Remax but this particular branch has major management issues. During my time doing business with them I had them regularly fail to deliver on promises. The director of operations went back on a signed agreement and then had his staff fabricate paperwork/bills that didnt exist. The director of operations refused to take my calls on the matter for for weeks and when I was able to get ahold of him he said deal with it, I dont owe you an explanation and hung up. I cant speak to the individual agents but he management is HORRIBLE and will stab you in the back given a chance.

Had a great experience with remax. Their web interface makes it so easy to pay your rent and submit a work order. ASK FOR ROBERTA ANTON if you want a cool and chill property manager!

They have an agent that sold my family a home without disclosing that he was selling the home for his parents. Since weve moved in, weve noticed patchwork to hide signs of foundation issues, non-permit renovations were performed on the home not to code, and just today I was nearly electricuted due to a junction box that (again) was not up to code. All these repairs were done by the previous owner (the parents of this agent) and I find it hard to believe that he didnt know about how poorly the homes condition was. If this office hires Realtors that are unethical towards disabled veterans, you should assume that theyll be unethical to all buyers.

Unfortunately I rented a property through Remax North and Francis Godschalk. The experience was the worst of my life. She told me to fix the fence that was falling down. She told me that my a/c unit breaking in 100 degree weather was not an emergency. She also manged to keep my security deposit even though she rented the house immediately. Contacted the office there on multiple occasions, and no one there knows the owner or cares about the tenants in any way.

The intial agent who managed our rent house did an okay job. If you contract with a property mgr, make sure you specify you only want John Smith or Bob Jones or whomever as your property mgr. We didnt do that. We should have. Sooo.. our house was passed along invariably to the junior most agents. We moved away from San Antonio with the armed forces but eventually after about 17 years we were finally back at Ft Sam Houston BAMC. But we were not going to self manage our little house. A property mgt service is good really for only 2 things: helping you screen and locate a good tenant AND having all the required documents for tax purposes.We were living in the NE in Schertz Cibolo and I would often drive by the property. I once noticed that tenants had evidently backed a car into the wooden garage door. This and a few other property issues were stuff youd expect the agent/property mgr to inform you the owner about and yet it seemed more often I would call the mgr and ask if he had heard about or was doing anything about any tenant concern. Invariably it seems Id find out about stuff before the property mgr. So exactly what was I getting with the monthly management fee?? I couldnt tell you exactly. You get the service you expect or negotiate for. Our property mgr (the last one) prompted me to switch to a different property mgt service, one located closer to the property. It is vital that you as homeowner contract with someone who could be at the house in a few minutes.

This is a mix of a five star and a three star review.On the five-star side, I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Daniel Garcia in purchasing my home a few months back, and he did everything perfectly. Would recommend him to anybody.On the three-star side, another agent attempted to poach my business away from Mr. Garcia.

Roberta has been a great property manager this past year . She response quickly and promptly to any questions or concerns I have . I highly recommend her.

We had an awful rental experience with this company. My young family and I rented a 3K/Month house in the Stone Oak area. We ended up spending extra money on home improvements and never received our deposit back. Our agent Scott was not helpful at all and we were left wondering whether he and the owner had a scam going to defraud the tenants!

Horrible experience with CHARO KING!!! We rented a house for 4K a month for 2 years always paying on time and keeping house in good and clean condition and she never refunded us one month security deposit and refused to explained. Very rude! Stay away from that person and a company! Very unpleasant experience that leaves a scar for long time.

Called to ask for help. You could tell the employees where goofing off in the background and the lady I was transferred to Nellie was very negative and rude. Did not seem interested in helping me at all cause it wasnt worth her while.
