Avenue Terrace

I have had been living here for a few years. Never done a review on anything before. But I want to share this with anyone that lives or wants to move here. This year I buy a new car, and one night it was about to get towed, I ran out start talking to the driver , I asked him why was he rowing my car, he said my car was not registered on the property, bit I did register it. I have to pay the driver $110 cash no to get my car towed. Next morning I went to the office, to talk to the manager just to make sure that I did in fact registered my car. She checked her computer and yes my car was registered. I ask her then , why my car car was getting towed the night before? She look on her computer and to her surprise and mine too, there was nothing in there about my car. When a car gets towed in the property it shows on her work computer. Even if the car does not get towed and the owner paid not to get it towed it shows on her computer. Then she did something I was not expecting, she called the towing company, and explained to the owner-manager that my car was in fact registered, the guy apologized and sent my my money back. That may happened to you too. I was convinced that the people in the office were working together with the towing company, but this showed me that I was mistaken. They find out about my car bc I went and ask. If something like this happens to you, do the same. I was pleasantly surprised when she did this. Don’t assume things.

Do not move here!!!!!!!!!I lived here for four years at the beginning. It was great then later on new management, came in supposedly she was the new manager I don’t know who she was or where she came from she was rude. She would treat you like those apartments were hers but when it came to maintenance,, it take so long to solve the problem. these apartments have a lot of break-in’s into your vehicles. People are so nosy Also, another problem. Let me tell you water bill is up to 200 and something don’t know from where if that’s not even as two-story house Office people always find a way to steal from you These apartments are infested with roaches. But now that I’m gone lm a very happy person. Don’t have to worth about none of this, thank God!

Just so people are aware, these apartments are being sued over the shooting in 2022 over their failure to protect their tenants and take action when they had concerns over a neighbor. Despite the concerns of residents, the complex did not add security or evict the person which ultimately led to the events that unfolded on Sept 25,2022 and loss of life. Theyre being accused of not conducting proper background checks on tenants

The service was excellent, the management did a great job, they were very kind, I have lived here before and I will move here again.

I had a great experience with this company. The worker Nataly showed us around the place. The place was clean and organized,unfortunately they didn’t have a 3 bedroom but I am on the waiting list and anticipating her call which made me feel like I was in good hands. Meanwhile, she answered all my questions and with a very nice and clear response.

I currently live here. The office staff is amazing. The area around the complex is horrible. My car was stolen the thenfirst month I moved here. But she everything needed to be fixed. They are on it. Just send a quick email. When neighbors upstairs kids are playing stompfest. They address it. Other than my car being stolen and the area outside the complex being bad. Thats the only cons. The pros are they are income based, they work with all credit types. My apartment is nice. They are really understanding when you need them.

I lived here for about 4 years until last year. I evidently loved it to stay that long but I needed an upgrade. Anyways, here details my experience: the maintenance always fixed any issue I had on time and I had a great relationship with one of the previous office people (Erica Guzman was the absolute BEST! Anyone after her not so much) My neighbors were polite, friendly and helpful and pest control came like clockwork so never any issues with rodents/pests. Just like everyone else the towing is dramatic, I never understood not being able to have the same guest park after midnight more than 3 times in a 7 day period but unfortunately that’s their property rules & the tow trucks will be circling the apartments at 10:59 so move it by 11 to be safe or it’s about $300 to pay. I did LOVE the community interaction, as far as having resources that were actually helpful 10/10 (I frequently received notices on how to get free groceries, information on home buying with free classes, and activities in the community center). Another downside though was fitness, I’m big on working out and was told initially there was a fitness center available but had never saw one lol. The pool is a bit small so it does get crowded quickly too. But overall, I loved my time here, the price was unbeatable for my experience! You definitely get what you pay for as these aren’t luxury but they’re much better than anything else you’d find within the same pricepoint. BTW you will have to request carpet cleaning if you renew your lease, they dont just offer it and if you leave and properly clean they will definitely send your deposit back to your new address. I went to tour the apartment complex and was pleasantly surprised with the upkeep of the property. The area is clean, safe, and really nice. Gabriela was the one who showed me around. She was so sweet, super helpful, and answered all my questions. Thank you for making this a great experience. If you’re planning to visit the property I recommend you ask for her!

Management do have connections with towing company, the manager will deny, yet they have access in knowing what cars got towed. Maintenance have not replace something so simple, complained in office 3 times and its over two weeks. They took pictures of my patio, complaining about items I have had over 6 months, that each item I do not remove they will charge $50 per item. I do understand rules are rules, but why right now when I complain about not them doing there job. Maintenance and Manager acusse me of changing my door bolt, thats a lie. Another thing, they dont give no advance notice what time or day they will come to do maintenance, thats unprofessional. They will for sure charge anything they can, yet they cant do there job. Safety issue, they dont have security and multiple cars have gotten stolen from there. Dont recommend the apartments at all, until the Manager and maintenance gets replaced.

So far, I have had a good experience living at Avenue Terrace. Management is really nice and professional and it’s not hard to get a hold of them. They reply so quick to my emails. I have mostly had communication with Gina and Erika and they both have been really helpful and professional. Maintenance requests are completed quickly and the maintenance department are really nice. They fix issues quickly and for the most part all it takes is one visit. Sometimes some tenants don’t seem to contribute in helping to keep the community clean. However maintanece is quick to pick up anything and are good at maintaining the property clean. They even come for a bit on Saturday’s. However all this can be accomplished with good management too. They do have rules and enforce them but that’s only to keep the community looking nice which is a good thing! The apartments have a nice open floor plan and it’s really quite around here. I see a lot of families living here. This apartments are also really central and close to everything so it makes it easy for me to drive to downtown, the Heights and to work and to a lot of restaurants. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 star is because it would be nice to have cameras around the building and more light in the parking lot areas at night.Other then that so far, good apartments!

I have to admit when I first started living here, it was great. Now things have gotten bad to worse with all these cars getting towed. They say they aren’t affiliated with the tow company, but come on how does the tow company verify through the computer if the cars are allowed in the premises 🙄. They be towing the cars that have the permit in order. Do better!!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! My truck got stolen and now my NEW car tires got stolen and management doesn’t do anything about the safety of the tenants! The gate is broken and the cameras don’t even work! Now they want to tow my car with NO TIRES????

I grew up living here for 9 years. It was so convenient for my siblings and my mother for us getting to school because the bus line is right across the street. Downtown and all major freeways are just so close by. The complex is very maintained and we never had issues with anyone, or our neighbors. Maintenance and management were on top of the work orders. Eventually I grew up and moved out on my own to another complex close to my job. I highly recommend to live here.

I recently moved back here 3 months ago. Lived here before and never had problems. So recently my car gets towed. It was parked right ,not messed up or broken down. The office lady obviously knows me cuz it took them a whole month to do my application to move back. My car was put on my application so shes knows its on there and yet it was still towed. They said it was bcuz i had no parking permit bcuz it wasnt registered online. Which i dnt remember them saying to do that. And that i couldnt use the paper that had my car info on it when i did my application. So i had to pay to get my car out from the tow yard. Does anybody know the corporate nuMber or email? I need my money back or compensation.

Love living here!! Safe and secure.I have been living here for 4 years and it has been amazing. The management and staff are very kind and friendly. They provide exceptional and speedy service when maintenance is needed. All amenities and areas are well kept and clean. And there are plenty of parking, even under the carport! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I LOVE IT HERE! Its very calm and the office staff and Maintenance guys are very helpful and friendly. I guss the only problem with our building is the parking, but everything else is GREAT. I was super happy when they told me that it had a washer and dryer included. 9 good years Experienced here.

There’s three fat woman working in the small office that don’t even bother to open the door for future clients they took their lunch break at the same time closed until after 15 minutes of their said open time it said they would open at two and I sat in my car for 15 extra minutes until I Called the office then they opened and still provided me with no information these women are incompetent and deserve to be fired

They took my car 2 time i pay $600 doller… they have contract with hardy tow but office mangment lie…they needs too be camera on property they just make money no safety.. safety is first priority…all staff are so mean and rude not good service here wasted money this apartment poor service staff..👎👎

Avenue Terrace Apts are really nice. The office staff is and has always been very prompt at responding to issues or concerns. Property is kept very well. Mantenance request are completed quick.Quiet community, I highly recommend and love Avenue Terrace Apts.

I lived here for 9 years.The schools and transportation is very convenient. The management very nice and professional. The apartments are very maintained and clean landscaping kept up as well. I highly recommend to live here.

Avenue Terrace is a great place to call home. Nice apartments, premises are well kept. Gina & her staff are awesome! Professional & prompt responding to concerns. Very close to everything you need in this city (restaurants, entertainment, hospitals, stores etc). Definitely recomendable.

This community is very well managed and mantained. There is plenty of parking but be aware, you must have a residents parking permit. I enjoy living here and I totally recommend it. This is a Tax credit community , meaning they go by your income to determin your rent amount.

I’ve Lived Here 2 Years. They’re Decent Apartments. Very Quiet & Well Kept Landscape. Maintenance Fixes Problems The Same Day Unless Overnight Issue Then It’s First Thing In The AM. The Office Staff Has Changed So Idk The New Folks. Only Reason I’m Moving Is Bc Of My Work In Huntsville Now.

Went to visit a friend who just moved in and thought the property was very well kept. Visited the office with her for a parking question and the ladies were really nice and helpful, my friend is really happy here and her apartment looks nice.

I am very impressed with how easy it was to set up an appointment to view a 1 bedroom apartment with Erica during this pandemic . She was very proffesional through the whole process. I was a bit nervous when arriving but she was orgainzed and made me feel right at home. Cant wait to make Avenue Terrace my new home in Novemeber.

Went to inquire information, the property seems nice and kept well, the office people were nice and helped me with the info I needed. Working on my application to move here in the next month.

The manager is not in forcing maintenance to do their job. My request hasn’t been fulfilled, have seen multiple times maintenance crew just chatting around.

Management is not good at all and there unprofessional I feel they don’t know what there doing in the office and treats the people here poorly I have never experienced anything this bad before when the management and front office associate doesn’t know what to do. Don’t recommend this place just a visitor for a resident who lives here and had a bad experience suppose to be friendly and welcome place didn’t get that when I was here

If I could give this place no stars I would. From maintenance to management this place is a joke. Even security sucks. My son had his car stolen from here. How can that happen if it’s gated?

Management is HORRIBLE and unprofessional!! The value of the property has decreased and there is trash everywhere. There is cigarette buds, masks, gloves and empty containers everywhere. This is the new ghetto! Management needs to be terminated!!!

Great apartments to live in, very quite and homey, front office is great with communicating with tenants and Maintaining the up keep of property.

Really bad place to live , swimming tooooo small, dirty green color, roaches everywhere flies everywhere, you cant open the door , trash dumper super dirty always with trash....management got in my apartment before I finish with my lease... Shouldnt be doing that...is it legal????

So many incident happening and they cant provide their tenants some security so they can rest at night and not worry their loved ones in danger.

The manager at this location is the worst! Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Who hires these people to serve our most vulnerable?! DO BETTER!

Very bad service...roaches everywhere...kitchen bathroom...rooms ..a lot of flies ...you cant open the door ...maintanance is very poor..manager sucks, she is eally rude..pool is green ..not even want to put my feet there

Car got broken into in the middle of the night and both taillights have been stolen please don’t move here this has gone on for way to long now

Terrible place, the truth is Ive been there for three months and Im very upset, the paint on the bathtub peeled off 2 days after I moved in and this is the date I didnt go to paint it, there are cockroaches and they justify it because they have few workers to provide maintenance to the fit ones, it is totally a lack of respect, I do not recommend it to anyone..........

Very good apartments, very nice, very efficient staff, good quality. I am very comfortable and I feel very comfortable and good living here
