Pelicans apartment is the best aparrment I have moved into, the apartment is clean, is family friendly and they respond quickly to residents concern quickly. Miss Kristina is a very fantastic Manager with great customer service skills. No regrets moving here since I got here

I have been living at this place for going to 4 years already and I personally think that this apartment is kinda of good but it’s mostly mid because of the pests and the high rent here. I would not recommend if you want youre rent to go up to almost $ 1,500 because that was what I was about to pay here. There are also too many kids that walk around the apartment park lot everyday and they play around were cars are driving. Just to let you know. They also have a rat and coach roach infestation. My time living here hasn’t been the best but the people that live in this apartment are nice. Overall the apartment needs a lot of work the pest problem is the worst part of it.

I don’t currently live on the property but my brother does. He travels a lot so I’m at his apartment throughout the week checking on his apartment. I’ve had to handle some business for him in the office and I must say Christine and her staff are awesome. My brother has started that he enjoys living here. His only complaint is the loud and unruly children that are outside to late at night. But other than that he loves it.

Ms Cristina is one of good manger in cook rd area and thank full from her that’s she did and do really helping in everyday and everytime I recommend this place and Ms Cristina thanks from your services

They towed my car twice in this complex after their failure to inform their residents about visitor parking. There are no signs in the complex that say that. The new tenants have also been getting towed because the leasing office does not inform them about the new policy. They have been trying to tow my whole family’s car as if they are targeting my family only. There’s others not complying with the “no reverse parking” in broad daylight and management does not tow their car after I’ve emailed them. They have expired licenses in their office and most of the fire extinguishers in the units are expired. Every apartment is roach infested so beware! Management is terrible. Maintenance work is also terrible. All they do is repaint a leak that causes bubbles in the wall. So many kids running around breaking windows and being disrespectful toward elders and management refuses to address the issue. Management makes their own good reviews on their free time while sitting in the office but won’t address how there’s 10 people living in a single unit but requires other tenants to list everyone under the lease knowing they have multiple residents that are not following the rules. They are high on discrimination and racism. The other accounts that have good reviews are coming from social workers that don’t even live here

If I could give this apartment complex a zero, I would because that is what it truly deserves. I have had issues before and yesterdays incident was the last straw for me. I am waiting for my lease to expire this year and I will move out. These apartment complex not only lets you live in mold which I have reported to the Houston Inspection Department, but their water system (pipeline) does not work either. When it rains my kitchen floods and I have to practically beg them to come fix my a/c unit as well. I have provided medical records which I technically should not be doing, just to live in adequate living conditions. Yesterday my car was illegally towed. These complex only like to profit out of you. Thankfully I am aware of all the policies as well as my fees because if not, they would have scammed me like theyve scammed other tenants. The complex is working with a towing company to gain money, even when cars are properly parked, no flat tires, valid inspection sticker and also apartment sticker to validate my parking spot on the property. Estela in the office could not tell me where my car was impounded and began yelling at me because I wanted information and Christina is out on vacation yet did not call me until after I had to get the Houston Police involved. Houston PD came out to the property and provided me information as to where and when my car was impounded, something that the complex should go ahead and provide me as it is MY property. None of the staff wanted to give me corporate number and Management and personnel is always changing as they cannot seem to get anyone right for the position to do their job. In the end I had to pay for my car, when I did not have to do so in the first place. All they ask you to do and keep saying is email us even when they ask you to stop by the office. I have emailed them various times and it takes weeks to have anything fixed. There are many issues with this complex and this is my 2nd bad review this year. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you want to get scammed. They promote luxury apartment homes yet there is nothing luxurious about these apartments and this is definitely not a home style place.

Erika is a good employee in your leasing office. She works well for us. She helps quickly everyone to answer their problems.

I had many bad experiences with this place. Ms. Christina, she does good job but she isnt usually in office. The woman who is in office. She doesnt know and cannot do anything for you. She isnt friendly when she answer your question. I have 2 little kids. The glass window is broken. Its so dangerous for them. I claimed that case to her in office and on the app of aparment but they did not fix( 1 month from I open case).

I’ve been living here for 2 yrs now. I never had any issues when I called for maintenance no more then a 1 day they would come. Pest control every Wednesday. Even when I’m short on my rent they understand and work with me I love the size of mines it’s not tight at all enough of closet space the master bedroom is huge I have a huge walk in closet plus a regular size closet. Love the area very convenient for myself and my son.

I seen a lot of bad reviews but let me tell you they arent true; I been living here seen June 2019 and I cant complain, Mrs Cristina is a very nice manager strict and fair and very sweet very respectful, they recently change maintenance personnel.Maintenance is quick to respond and get issues resolved as soon as possible, everyone gets 1 cover parking spot and there is uncover parking for visitors and extra cars.I will add the floor plans are spacious 1500sqf for their largest 3 bedroom is perfect for a family of 6 all rooms have double closets my kids have full beds in their room and bulky furniture and there is still plenty of space.As far of people talking about a rat problem is not ture is possums and they are in the outside of the property not in the apartments and that due to the apartment been surrounded by 2 parks.I will recommend this apartment to anyone, is kids Friendly they have 2 parks within the complex you can see kids playing in their bike skates and running all happy.The pool is open in summer time but I personally think the should have open till 8pm and as long is hot in the city, they can fix it some and put a safer flooring but other than that is a good area.Schools are near by the elementary school and middle school are good.If i could give them 10 ⭐ I would is the best decision I have made in apartments in 15 years.- Pamela-Ann & Gabriel Acosta

Worse Apartment I have ever lived in, poor management DO NOT MOVE HERE. The bathroom toilet has been clogged for over a week and I put in a repair request and no one has bothered to come see it.The balcony slide door has no handle since moved in and that doesn’t lock very disappointed with how they treat their tenants here. Went to the office multiple times and I spoke to the property MGR still no one showed up to fix the problems.Imagine if your AC or Heater stops working then what 🤦🏼‍♂️.Late evening some young kids are drinking 🍺 in the parking with their trucks parked in the middle of the street definitely not a place for a family to raise a kid can’t wait for our lease to be over.

Worse place you can live in.rats and cockroaches all over the apartment. When you call for any problem it takes then 3 weeks to fix.the manager is never on site. The garbage disposal backs whenever it rains .if you are looking for apartment home please do not go to pelican landing .I gave them a 1 star because thats the only way to leave a review

If you are looking for a good place to stay dont even bother to branch here.This people are horrible ,they made me and my son slept in an open for four days.my room window got broken by one of the maintenance guys when trying to clear the Bush and they did not even tell me about it untill I found out myself in the evening. Even after I found out ,I called several times for it to be fix but nothing was done about it.I cant wait for my lease to expire

Please don’t come and lease here! We have rats here! I’m super clean and never had problems but since my neighbors moved out, rats started to come to my apartment! And told one of the management and all he said was, this place was infested by rats! So please stay away from here!

If you are looking for a good place to live this is not it!! Maintenance is horrible, call in a problem and say it will be fixed by 6pm. Does not happen. Have to keep calling and demaniding or they will forget. Parking is always an issue. Never enough parking for visitors. Management is poor. Never know how to give a straight answer to anything. Also if you have a pet they will always find an excuse to blame you for any property destruction with no evidence. No pet friendly at all!

This place is terrible and wouldnt recommend anyone renting here. Theres rats, roaches, mold, and leaks in the roof. They raise the rent almost every year and you would never see any improvements. They have a swimming pool that they clean everyday but is always locked. Save your time and money

I saw this complex on the news last week 11/18. A tenant roof fall on her well she was sleeping. When the news asked the office about it the leasing agent said NO COMMENT.Is that how it would be if I move in? I would love to move to a place where I would be safe and valued as a human being 1st and foremost. Very unsafe and I was shocked they still ask her to pay after that. That sounds like an lawsuit in the making. No NOT A PLACE TO MOVE TO!

Not a SAFE ENVIRONMENT @ all for kids. We could not wait to move when our lease was up. I went to the office to let managers. Nothing was done and it was a new manager every 2-3 months. Please check their reviews and know where your moving before you give your deposit.

My mom is so ready for her lease to be up. A 65 yr old elderly lady shouldnt go through what she has been through living at Pelican Landing Apts 6819 Cook rd Houston Tx 77072. They take her money and never come when she calls to fix things. Its always a reason why they cant do it the day she calls .

I would love to share how Cristina is always very helpful in every situation. She has such a great attitude and is always very professional and understanding.

Apartments need to be updated and the leasing office as well. Needs landscaping to at least hide the walls of buildings that are very close to each other and make it feel closterphobic. Not very inviting from the outside.

Mrs. Christina, the situation has become very disturbing in this company. You have to take the necessary measures, because we cannot even drive the car. Children are everywhere. The situation is very disturbing, Mrs. Christina. Please, this is unbearable.

Stopped by to Pelican Landing and the property looks amazing , it a very tranquil place . Management is super nice super friendly . She helped me with all questions I had . Would recommend to lease here , will be coming back to lease in the summer ! 😃

Hello, good afternoon, I feel super safe in the condominium, very good attention from manager Cristina. Very good attention regarding the maintenance team and Falls Group. I would recommend this condominium to anyone in short, a very good experience from the entire condominium work team.

I dont like the service that the new leasing company provides. Its a bitter person who quickly wants to kick you out and doesnt want to provide information. They should remove him and put someone nice in.

Its just not a good place here, there are mice on the property that also get inside the apartment. 2nd to verify if I paid the rent online, the girl in charge told me yes and then charged me more because not paying this type of service is not pleasant. 3. They requested my car and I told the girl that I had a new car and that I needed a sticker. I know that I need insurance but I didnt get it anymore because my car broke down and now that they gave me the Car was Saturday and obviously the insurance was closed and so they asked me for my car and the ones I had as a replacement in visitors did not.This is not possible, this did not happen when Erika was there, she always responded well and solved problems.Whats more, leaving garbage outside my porch and taking a long time to pick it up shows how inefficient the service is. I let the girl know that it is in service.I would like to speak with the supervisor, thank you.

I can only say infinite thanks Erika for her kindness, empathy in treating her neighbors, truly only someone who does her job with love and heart can be so noble.Even though he was no longer within his working hours, he waited for us and made us the contract, he showed us the apartment and very nice place, by the way, my family and I are very grateful to him.

The truth is that the property is bad. Cristina, the manager, is never there. I moved from the property. In the contract, I had until July 31 to move at 12:30 at night. I had not finished taking my things and on the 31st they came in with me. apartment without me having finished, they took my things, the cleaning lady took my food, cleaning things, personal use, intern, stealing my things because I hadnt finished the contract yet, I always paid on time, I never ran out of money, I never bothered, the apartment was nice and still I dont understand why they did that. It was Cristina who gave the order without calling me or asking me, I hadnt even delivered the keys because there was one day left and I still hadnt finished moving. Thats not done. Thats abuse on their part.

Horrible, I dont recommend it to anyone.There are rats in the walls of the apartments, cockroaches and they do not provide any solution.The parking lots have little light.The pool is never opened.The cars appear scratched and even with the broken windows and the administration acts oblivious and does not provide any solution, could it be that not even the cameras are useful??????Its really not a safe place to live.

Ive only been living here for two months and I went through a horrible experience, they stole the wheels of my car and they dont do anything about it. I dont know how to move here without mentioning that it is infected with rats and cockroaches.

An office assistant named Erica is very friendly, very good people, she provides excellent service and is also fantastic with her work and also Fernando, the maintenance person, is a very good person, he does his job very well and is always respectful.

This property is disgusting, the maintenance is over, they dont fix anything, there are rats, its full 🐀🐁🐀 they never gave me a refrigerator, the one they measured, its not Serbian, the manager, lola, that lady is problematic, so expensive, $1400 is expensive, be careful when renting, the people here are bad maintenance, so nothing but fuck, talk, theres never anything, they increase your rent by $100 in one go.

Apparently it seems like a good place to live. But it is the opposite, it lacks security, the maintenance of the apartments is terrible. The pool was only opened once in 3 years. I dont recommend it.

Worst place to rent... The people at the office say they will arrive to fix something before 6pm and they dont arrive until after 2 weeks even though they demand it...They gave me an apartment infested with cockroaches for just 2 days there... And I had to put poison bombs in every message and even then they didnt end... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

I like the service provided by the office workers, especially ERIkA, who are very friendly and well maintained….

Now the rats even opened a hole in the wall and my husband called that the rats were inside the apartment and what they said is that we have to see how we do it because no one from maintenance answers and times we let them know since the rats could be heard in the middle of the wall there are too many filthy people

This property is pure shit, maintenance is the worst, it will never occur to them to come rent this damn property, these stupid people are better off renting the apartment like this, what they want is to rent it and thats it!
