I had a great experience when touring this place! Using the self guided tour was very easy to follow. Amenities are great, the downtown view is beautiful to watch, overall a very nice and quiet neighborhood close to many restaurants and shopping 10/10.
Even though this chapter of my job has come to end, it is one that I am going to miss. Every time I would go over to check up on our apartment at the REVL Heights, Mr. Ayron Gordon was courteous, attentive, and helpful with my questions and requests. The property was always clean and the hallways smelled so nice. I really appreciated that the resident pet owners always cleaned up after their pets! I never saw any kids and the property was always peaceful and calm, plus, it was a short drive to Target, Le Madeleine, and Staples The REVL Heights is a great place to live and yes, I highly recommend it!
Ayron was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with our tour. His genuine opinion was nice to see in this market. We love this property and hopefully making a decision soon. Thank you Ayron!!
Amazing property! Everything was great including the Cleanliness! Ayron, was amazing and explained everything in full detail! Ive submitted an application so hopefully Ill get the chance to call Revl Heights my new home 🏡
I lived here for over two years. It had its pros and cons, as does any place.**Pros:** Maintenance was efficient in addressing work orders, and management was generally responsive, though they could sometimes come off as condescending. The amenities are nice, and the location is excellent. Not to mention, we hardly ever lost power for long periods of time during hurricane season.**Cons:** The elevator frequently broke down, there were unpleasant odors and dead bugs in the hallways, garbage cans in the parking garage often overflowed, and there were issues with car break-ins and managements behavior. Management often gaslit me and lied to my face just to get me out of the office or off the phone. There were also questionable issues with my ledger that raised concerns.Furthermore, residents are forced to use Fetch Delivery for package deliveries, which was a very frustrating experience. My packages were often delayed or misplaced, forcing me to go to the Fetch warehouse to retrieve them. It got to the point where I started having my things sent to a friend’s house if I needed them urgently, just to avoid the risk of not receiving my packages on time.Additionally, their visitor parking app allows only one guest per 24 hours. Even if that guest leaves, you can’t replace them with someone else within that timeframe, which is really limiting. They’re also quick to tow, so you can’t take any chances. The parking garage is tight at the corners, making turns difficult and increasing the risk of head-on collisions with cars coming in and out.Overall, I’d rate my experience a 7/10.
We had an excellent experience at Revl. Apartment was great. Wonderful location. Maintenance staff was so friendly, responsive, and got things done quickly. They have changed light bulbs, put up towel racks, and looked at my dishwasher all within 24 hours of me submitting a ticket. Really appreciate them! Incredible views of the city. The generator during this years storms was great. This definitely exceeded our expectations.
The apartment rooms seem to have a number of structural issues that make noise travel easier from room to room. Also deceptive practices engaged by the apartment managers could be a huge turn-off. Probably better to look for better deals (newer and cheaper apartments) elsewhere.
Ayron was very helpful in answering the questions I had. He gave me a wonderful tour of the building. He is very pleasant and easy to talk to.
I wanted to love this spot but their rental pricing and staff are super sketchy. I viewed a spot for $1800 and then when I went to apply the price had jumped up to $2010 just days later. I called and asked them about it and even though I can prove the price the day before they refused to honor it. Now I’m seeing it at $2300+ for a 1 Bedroom!! That’s just ridiculous!! And their staff isn’t helpful at all when confronted on this. It’s like they don’t actually want to rent these units. Typical bait and switch bad business. 👎*update - I did contact management prior to writing this post and they claim that AI sets their pricing and they cant over ride it??? So you dont have authority over a computer program? Seriously? However, the day after I wrote this post the listing dropped by $300 a month. Super sketchy! Also they claim they dont bait and switch. However, you see one price and then when you go to apply the price jumps up as much as $900 per month depending on when you want to move in. So the price you see is if you want to move in that day. But if you are a normal human who plans at least a month out then plan on paying an exorbitant amount more. Again, staff doesnt care and are unwilling to work with you on this and now 2 months later the same unit still sits empty. Great business model Revl!
You damn well know why its a 1 star rating, the utterly incompetent and predatory package delivery service the residents are forced into. Fetch loses packages, Amazon refuses deliveries to it by default, and even USPS started to not deliver to their location. This is absolutely absurd. All you have to know about Fetch, their website only touts how much kickback landlords can make on the scam, and doesnt mention customers even once!
Ayron was professional and friendly! The tour was fluid and the building is lovely. Definitely a great place to consider when looking for your dream home!
Love living here! Maintenance is always on top of my requests (the few ones I’ve had). I feel safe living here and it’s quiet! Also you can’t beat the location. Thank you Revl Heights!
I moved in recently and have had nothing but great experience across the board at the Revl! I was supposed to move in the day Hurricane Beryl hit so I was basically emailing/contacting management every day to find out when I could move in- Ayron, Drew, and Vanya all answered within minutes of any email I sent and did everything within their power to make sure we had a smooth move in considering the circumstances. They even made sure to credit us back rent $ since we moved in later than our original move in day. I had a few small maintenance requests and within 2 hours they were at my door and fixed the issues I had immediately. We’ve had no issues with safety of garage at all, we’ve had guests over and the guest pass is easy (1 guest per lease holder and if you have extra guests there’s meter parking in the garage too). As a woman safety on this area was huge for me and I always feel very comfortable walking to and from my car/in the garage. Hallways are always kept clean, and apartment itself is awesome and very spacious. Definitely recommend!!!!
I had a fantastic experience with Ayron at the REVL Heights leasing office. From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly friendly and warm, making me feel right at home. Ayron was not only knowledgeable about the property, but he also took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire tour. His enthusiasm for the community was contagious, and by the end of our meeting, I was genuinely excited about the possibility of moving into REVL Heights. Thank you so much for all your help, Ayron—you truly made a difference in my apartment search!
Property management is great. Vany helped me find the perfect place and get moved in quickly and easily and Aaron has been super helpful and responsive as well!
Our air conditioning broke after hours over the holidays, and your handyman was super quick to respond, was an absolute delight, and fixed the problem for us. We were so grateful.
Love this property! best location and love the coffee shop across the street and easy access to the bayou to walk my dog
The location is ideal! So many surrounding activities, food, stores etc. rent is extremely high but worth it for surrounding areas. The apartments themselves need upkeep, carpet in my unit definitely needed to be changed but was only shampooed when complained. Everyone has a dog and you know what comes with that. The moving in and out process was extremely tough so be prepared. Staff members were great throughout my stay.
Revl leaves you wishing you had your bags already there. The fragrance in the building is intoxicating and the pool leaves you breathless. Wow!! Vanyann was a gracious agent and even took me on at the last minute. This professional agent will answer any and all questions you may have, however the knowledge she possesses leaves you virtually questionless! If you are going to look at this facility you would be disappointed and actually a fool if you do not request Vanyann!! Mahalo, Dan
Ayron was an amazing guide. He really made us feel like this was our next home and took the time to show us all the amenities and the apartments. The apartments are beautiful and the added security really made this feel like a safe place.
I have been living at the Revl Heights for 4 months now and it has been an amazing experience. Since my first visit I received great support and service from the management team. They made an extra effort in order for me to get the apartment I wanted. The building has a great infrastructure, leisure area, maintenance service, not to mention the view! Neighbors are nice and respectful, never had any problem. Special thanks to Daniel, who always helps me promptly when I need. I really enjoy living here and recommend it.
Great tour, Hillary was super friendly and very professional. The place is extremely cleaned, well maintained and have outstanding outdoor spaces. The apartments are spacious and bright. I was provided with all the necessary information to make a decision on my lease.
It’s been really disappointing to see how things continue to be downgraded since Barvin bought the property. It has transitioned to what was a Class A property to a B- and flirting with C+. Every few months something seems to get down graded. At first it was the install of the very ugly, non modern looking vinyl flooring in front of the elevators. Then complete removal of the carpet with vinyl flooring that belongs in a garden style apartment in the burbs, not in the heights. Then the accent walls in the hallways got painted so there wasn’t so much touch up and it looks like a prison corridor now. Only a couple of grills have worked since Barvin took over and they are now in horrible condition and need parts replaced. Forced to pay and use fetch which has a horrible rating and has cost me a lot of money in damaged and lost deliveries all so proeprty management doesn’t have to help manage the deliveries. The crime has increased significantly since Barvin took over. All the seat cushions were removed from the single person recliners at the pool and never replaced even though I was told multiple times they were going to be replaced. My car has been towed for parking the exact same way it did for 3 years, including 1 year while Barvin owned the property. Most recent change and added cost to tenant is now we have to replace our own water filters. There is no other owner or property management company that requires that. The staff is very nice and I know these are not their decisions. It’s unfortunate that due to Barvin wanting to significantly reduce management and maintenance costs the class of the building continues to get downgraded and customer service gets worse. We can’t take large items to the dumpster any more. I don’t think the exterior windows that are not on balconies have been cleaned or inspected once since Barvin took over. That should happen on a yearly basis. Not just to keep them clean but more importantly to inspect for potential water leaks to avoid significant maintenance and repair costs in the future. This is. It necessarily a complaint, it’s just laying out the changes that have occurred that are a downgrade since Barvin bought the property.
I had popped in for a tour after passing by and Hayley was by herself. She was very sweet and did a great job at the tour. As other people popped in and out she was very kind in making sure thet knew she was operating with less staff than usual and shared how long she would be back to be able to assist with their needs. She was honest with questions asked and explained the amenities with ease. The property was beautiful and I loved the feature to ask current residents questions via their app.
Just finished a tour of the property minutes ago with Drew.I am highly impressed with REVL, from apartment floor plans to amenities and even the location. I particularly like where its located relative to everywhere else in the metropolis. Definitely want to commend Drew for his impeccable service and delivery throughout the tour . He made my experience very much worth it and I also appreciate him giving me information that could potentially help me save cost in the process !
I’ve been living here for 10 months. Still enjoy it. Awesome amenities, property is always clean, great maintenance team. Any problems I’ve ever had were fixed really quickly. The staff is always ready to help with anything. The parking app is easy to use and I’ve never had an issue with it. There’s always parking outside for the second guest too, never had an issue there either. Not sure why some people complain about that, it’s pretty standard. Great place.
I used to live here and moved out after Barvin took over management because everything went downhill.Have someone I know still live here and basically can’t visit anymore because they make you do a guest permit through an app that limits to one car per unit daily but the app almost never works and I usually come after hours so it’s not like you can tell the leasing office. So I don’t come cause I don’t want to get tow, since I heard they love towing everyone’s cars immediately. Also they make guests pay $25 a month for deliveries to get through this FETCH service. Basically if you order something you can’t put in your address, you have to put in the Fetch address which is in a whole other location. Then when they get it they will schedule a delivery time to drop off for you. However, my friend said she hardly ever gets her packages in the window that they give her. Basically it’s an additional 1-2 days before she even gets it ONCE it has arrived to Fetch. Also sometimes they will lose your package. She said it’s faster if you just drive up to the Fetch building and retrieve your packages there. So basically you’re paying $25 a month to get your palaces slower or not at all. Don’t send care packages to people here they will probably not get them. Also lots of security issues at night. Cars broken into, cars on blocks cause tires taken, catalytic converters stolen, etc.Not worth your money go somewhere else. Read all the reviews, lots of 5 star review about touring only, not living here.
I pass this beautiful building almost daily and (since Ill be moving soon) I decided to contact them for a tour. Well, I was truly impressed by the professionalism of the office staff as well as the cleanliness of the common areas. The layout of its floor plans surpassed all expectations and (depending on which apartment you choose), the view of Downtown Houston is absolutely spectacular! In short, I cannot wait to call this place home.
My Revl community tour experience with Hilary was amazing! The community is stellar, from the views/location, beautiful interior, and cool amenities. The one bedroom floor plan was the nicest I’ve seen while apartment hunting. The extra study space will serve as an art studio for me to create paintings. Revl exceeded my expectations. Hilary was kind, pleasant and very informative. Residents are in good hands with her and her team.Oh, I almost forgot. I was able to chat by texting a current resident at Revl from their website a few days prior. Asking whatever I wanted and getting first hand information and opinions was important to me.
Beware. They will tow their own residents. Cars getting broken into and left on bricks with no empathy or enhanced security measures from management. Their solution to improving security is hiring a tow company. A criminal won’t be there long enough to get towed, so I’m not quite sure how that helps anyone. The residents are ultimately impacted. If you want to feel secure at the place you live and not have to worry about paying $300 for a tow, this may not be the place for you.
As a reference I Ive been living here for a couple months now, I live in the 9th floor by myself no pets. The view from some of the apartments is great, you can see Houstons skyline with no obstructions. The locations is great, you are in walking distance of bars, restaurants and the running and biking trails are right in the back of the building. The maintenance team is top notch, I have placed a few requests in this months and they always take care of them the same day.The building is not new so it has gone through some maintenance, one of the elevators was out of service for a few days, the trash compactor was broken but the valet trash was still on service son not much problem. The part that I dont like is that is that you need to issue daily parking permits for guests but the good thing is that is plenty of space. Also the packages need to go through Fetch (third party service), which is not the best if you need to get something big and urgent, I have found that couple times I couldnt buy items because the place couldnt received them (a blanket for example). In general I give the place 5 stars because in my opinion the pros are more than the cons. Overall is a good place to live.
I’ve lived here for a couple years now and I must say I love it here! Management and maintenance is amazing and always willing to help. There is a courtesy officer on site who is always available, any and every complaint is heard and handled in a timely and efficient manner. The amenities are always clean and accessible to residents. Management always puts together the cutest events for us residents to get us more acquainted with one another it’s truly one big happy family. I don’t see myself leaving any time soon!
Currently living here but will be moving out soon! My car was broken into twice within just 6 months of living here and it has cost me total of $7,000 to get it fixed!I have tried to talk to the staff multiple times about the issue. First they are not even empathetic about it and second all they tell me to do is file a police case. With is fine however I would have loved if the management took extra precautions to make sure this doesn’t keep happening.Apart from my car I have seen multiple cars being vandalized and having their cars left on bricks.I have emailed management but have not received a reply. My suggestion is that you get a security guard from 11pm-6pm or get extra security cameras.SAFETY IS SO IMPORTANT
The actual property felt old. The pool and gym were very very dated for the price point. I was told about a parking system they just implemented. 1 visitor per unit. I’m young and social. I can have two girlfriends over for wine every night if I had it my way. Based on the reviews they will absolutely tow. Decent property but I found better. The staff was nice. Pro: 1.) Great view of down town but again the seating needs updating. 2.) proximity to walking trail 3.) close to a new kroger Cons: 1.) High deposits. 2.) old
The elevators stop working every other week and when they are working they’re slowwww. The call box has only worked 10 days in the ~9 months I’ve lived here so I have to go down and get my guests 90% of the time. Overall it’s a nice place, and the staff is nice, but the normal functions and standards of living should work 24/7.
Every leasing office needs an Ayron! From over the phone to the in person tour Ayron was informative, amazing, and attentive! He answered all our questions went above and beyond. My partner is very hard to please and let me tell you he rated Revl Heights a 10/10. These apartments are spotless, so quiet, not to mention conveniently located. I’d definitely be relocating to these apartments soon!
I’m about 4 months in to my lease and my experience has been great thus far. My application process was smooth and Ayron was fair and helpful! He and Shelby have been a great help throughout my stay. They have answered countless questions, and assisted me multiple times in ways that have contributed in a better quality of life. Love it here!
I have been living here at Revl for a couple years and love the apartment and the staff. However I am very dissatisfied with the security here. I have had a brand new truck stolen from the secure garage. I have had a bicycle stolen from the bike cage on the third floor. Recently my car was broken into in the secure garage. This is beginning to be a big problem for me. I feel that some of the residents dont have the same sense of urgency to keep our building safe. I have witnessed residents allowing piggybacking into the building thru the gate and not accompanying guests in the building. Also a neighbor allowing her dog to use the balcony to urinate instead of walking him. When my renewal comes due these will be my considerations when making my decision to stay or move on.
Thank you to Daniel for making the move out process so smooth. He conducted a final inspection with me before I turned in keys so I would know what to expect. Had I not purchased a home this year I would have renewed. Also, shout out to Santos! I will miss seeing him in the garage every morning on my way to work. If you’re looking for an apartment the management staff here will take great care of you.
I recently came here for a tour and although my move-in date isnt until August, I fell in love with the property and floor plan after touring with Daniel. He was very knowledgeable about the property and its features. Additionally, I met with the property manager Morgan who was amazing. I am excited to call Revl Heights my new home.
I toured the facility today with Vanyann. The complex is very nice and I will be looking to move forward! Vanyann was extremely helpful and informative. She answered all questions I had and definitely provided a good first impression of the staff!
We’ve lived in this location for fifteen months, and aside from one or two small issues, we really enjoyed our stay here.Honestly, we couldn’t imagine a better apartment layout — the park & neighborhood are so relaxing and beautiful to experience, both in and out of the home. The windows are huge, and the location is very pedestrian-friendly.The maintenance staff is incomparable. They are compassionate with extreme attention to detail. In particular, Jeff exceeded our best expectations; he went above and beyond, giving our maintenance issues his educated time and care. The gym is a fantastic facility, although the cardio equipment is in constant need of upgrading. And any other property issues we’ve had have been addressed with the change of a new management company.Great place to live for location, value, and staff attention.
I’ve lived here for a year and a half and honestly i’ve had not a single issue since living here! im only moving because i have a new job in a different state, but if it weren’t for that i definitely would’ve renewed my lease! the building is so well maintained, the apartments are modern and beautiful, the management is so kind and responsive, no pest issues at ALL since i’ve been living here, everyone that lives here is so nice, beautiful amenities that are kept clean, really amazing maintenance (i was so shocked because he came in like 20 minutes), clean building at all times, no change in staff since i’ve been here, very secure building (you can’t enter the building at all without a fob, unless somebody lets you in), over amazing complex! i love it here so much!
I love Revl! It’s the perfect location 10-15 minutes from everything and I’ve found all the staff to be professional and kind. Maintenance requests are quickly resolved, the grounds remain clean and the courtesy officers are always around and respond promptly to any concerns. They make sure the community stays safe, secure, and quiet.
I have been here for 6 months now and my boyfriend and I love it! Management is very responsive and helpful. Shout out to the cleaning crew because I’ve noticed shared areas have been much cleaner (people will leave empty cans and stuff, but cleaning crew does great keeping it nice). This is a calm and nice complex, and it seems most of the complaints are from those that don’t like to follow the rules.Only thing I would add to make this place perfect would be a fenced in off leash dog area!
I went on my first tour today. The apartment is beautiful. Great location and nice amenities.Shelby was my tour guide and she was absolutely pleasant. Walked me through the whole complex and answered all my questions and concerns. She knew the complex very well and did it all with patients and beautiful smile. Absolutely recommend living here.
My dryer was fixed quickly and the smoke detector battery replaced within a few hours of reporting. Thank you!
Im incredibly thankful that Revl Heights has a backup power supply! Many of my friends in the area, have been without power since Thursday (5/17/24). Its a major advantage to know that Revl Heights has us covered during power outages, which are all too common in Houston. A huge plus!!!
This place is beautiful and the community amenities are extensive! The community is luxury throughout. The vibe is refreshing, warm and welcoming. I only met one staff, a very debonair young man, well dressed from inside to outside. He really didn’t have to do anything to sell me an apartment because Revl Heights sells itself and he was just the cherry on top. I hope all the administrative staff has his professional elegance that pairs well with Revl Heights.
Morgan and Her Team are by far the best and biggest assets to this property/ company I would give them a 100 out of 10 if i could but they are so Awesome!!! Very kind and knowledgeable, the property is very well kept and has such an amazing atmosphere. By far i had the best experience working with them and seeing the community!
Revl Heights does not provide guest parking and, instead requires residents to register each time they let a guest in the parking garage (no matter how short the visit). If not registered, or after the 24-hour registration period is exceeded, the guest car quickly disappears, costing the guest (or guilty-feeling resident) $250+ to get it returned. There does not appear to be a lack of parking, which leads one to wonder if Revl Heights uses this laborious process as a way to increase revenue. The speed at which unregistered guest cars are identified and towed is highly suspicious and feels quite unethical. Draw your own conclusions about whether they get a kickback for each car escorted out.
I moved here at the beginning of 2022 and I have had a great experience so far! Any issues and concerns that have I had were addressed immediately in a friendly here which is not common.I looked at so many properties when I moved to Houston and I am glad that I made the choice to live here.10/22/2022I wanted to share more details since my last post! I wanted to thank the staff for everything that they do. Your hard work is not going unnoticed and thank you for following up when needed. Continue enhancing our living experience. I would like to give a personal shoutout to Daniel!
Julio was an amazing tour guy. He took his time to help me decide what unit to get and his advices were amazing. I really loved the complex and every detail he showed me. He made us laugh and we really had a great time.
Ayron and Shelby were wonderful during my visit. They were very helpful, professional, polite, and willing to go the extra mile to accommodate me. I would highly recommend this high rise building. The view is the best in Houston I’ve seen to date.
The property and staff were lovely. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. I have applied for an apt.The website however left much to be desired. The phone number prominently displayed on both the top of the main page and application pages are out of service. The application doesn’t work on mobile for iPhones. The ‘thank you for your application’ emails show up with olive green text on a black background on mobile emails which is very difficult to read, it also could provide more information about how long until you will receive update/answers on the application etc.Had I not been guided through the process by an employee I probably would have skipped on this opportunity as there were technical hurdles at every step. It’s obvious that the tech is built for computers, not mobile and there is a lack of end-user testing and perspectives in the design experience. Other properties such as Windsor Memorial use the same applications but their apps/flows are optimized for the user.
Overall a really impressive apartment with a wide array of amenities and a modern look!Ayron was really knowledgeable and welcoming. Would definitely recommend touring if you’re looking for apartments in the Heights.
As a newcomer to Revl Heights I have felt welcomed. Aaron led me through the process of move in and living here. Hes been available and efficient in addressing any concerns or questions Ive had. The building is clean and well maintained as some updates are being made. Im very pleased with my decision to live here.
Ms. Hillary Whitrock greeted me with a warm smile and full knowledge of Revl Heights propertys available units and the additional amenities for residents. Hillary asked the right questions to make sure my needs were met. Because I am a senior seasoned citizen, she demonstrated lots of patience and willing spirit to provide World Class Customer Service. Thank you, Dr. Linda V. Brown
My son just moved here was worried at first but after a few months there his apt is perfect fit for him the pool is awesome! the game room is huge and has so much to offer we have gone to visit a few times and enjoyed it there is a park right next door so he can take his dog for walks and right across the hwy he has lots of retail stores including a target !! the staff was so helpful to get him moved in and i am so relieved he will be well taken care of ! Defintely 5 star from one moms point of view. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!
Ill start by saying property conversions of ownership are challenging and certainly take time and patience on both sides- management and tenants- to facilitate; that being said, it takes a very special property manager with incredible leadership qualities to make the transition possible; not only is that happening, Morgan is leading her team in taking Revl Heights to the level this community deserves. This post, however, is especially meant for the maintenance team, which may not get a lot of credit, however, have been phenomenal. On a daily basis, Santos, Jeff, Albert, Ivette, and Esteban work tirelessly going above and beyond in their duties. Theyre always polite and respectful, greeting the community with conversation and smiles, thank you to all for making this community what it should have always been!!
I have lived in this apartment complex for over 5 years. The new changes to accommodate the new property management company have only been cumbersome and frustrating as a person who has lived here for some time. With my frame of reference, I can see the majority of the changes have only caused inconvenience and changed the aesthetic of this luxury property. I do understand that with change does come uncomfortability, but I do not think that these have been for good.1. The floors were changed to laminate with the intent it was suppose to help with a cleanliness. They arent cleaned and there is terrible odor in the hallways at all time2. Property is never cleaned (beer and needles in stairwells) and bugs in gym (gym rarely seems cleaned or sanitized)3. Added Fetch delivery service (charges $25 month to deliver your packages)4. Only allows 1 guest for parking to be admitted into the parking garage with new virtual parking permit. Other guest are required to park on the street. (Again never had an issue finding parking prior to property management change)I will say the only few positives I have seen are:1. Electric vehicle charging2. Increased security3. Local Management has had excellent customer service with the continuous frustration from residences from all the changesI would not recommend this place to a friend. You can find more bang for your buck with the immense growth in the area.
Ayron was very friendly and professional. He provided an excellent tour! I’m looking forward to possibly becoming a resident at Revel Oaks. Shelby was also accommodating and provided great reservations on restaurants nearby.
Excellent experience leasing at Revl Heights! My leasing specialist, Ayron Gordon was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to my criteria and went above and beyond to ensure I find the right option. 10/10 overall
I have held off on writing a review of the building but tonight was just too much. Please note that most positive reviews written in the last few months are people who have just toured the building and not who has lived here. I have lived here for 3 years and will not be renewing my lease when it ends due to such increasing frustrations with the building. My apartment used to be a place where people came to hang out due the the nice amenities, building, location etc., all the things that make the high price point worth it in my opinion. Now my home is known as not a welcome place for friends to come and spend quality time. In order to have a friend come over to drop something off and to watch a show, I must log their car in a parking permit app that does not save any information and often does not work for me. One night the app did not work for me again and I could not call the leasing office as it was after hours. When I had this issue previously, I had to call the leasing office to correct my account and they did not offer me any explanation on how to fix the problem. But, I figured it was ok that my friend was parked here from 8-9pm on a Monday night. No, my friend was towed for being at my home that amount of time and we had to pay $286 at a towing company that emergency maintenance did not even know the contact information for. Management is increasingly controlling of random personal aspects of your home. For example, as of now no door decorations are allowed removing all personality and character from the hallways. I had a simple wreath from target for 3 years that was forced to be removed. Do you like having packages delivered? You will now be forced to pay $25 a month for a Fetch service that about a fifth of the time will not show up with your package in the time frame that you want it delivered. You are forced to have it delivered to another address, then it takes a day or two for them to get it to you after that. When my father recently passed and friends tried to send me care packages, they were returned to sender and I never received them due to the package policy. All of these policies have been to improve safety or something but difficulties have still been occurring in the community. The high rent for the community used to be worthwhile to me but no longer. I have never written a negative review until now. I do not recommend this community to others.
We came here to view apartments and was greeted by Ayron. He was very nice and wonderful guide. He showed us everything the apartment has to offer its community and answered all our questions. Hopefully we will be able to make this are new home.
EDIT 3: Overall, Daniel Zambrano, Barvin, REVL Heights management are the slimiest, most unethical people Ive ever seen. They charge completely fraudulent claims, then are unable to provide support to back up their claims, then send their fake charges to debt collectors. Their couple hundreds of dollars of false charges could maliciously damage our credit scores by 100 points. I would give them negative stars if I could.EDIT 2: Barvin is now trying to charge fraudulent charges on move-out. We have sent many emails with detailed calculations of the correct amount that we owe ($218.66), and we have attempted to pay this portion many times. However, their system wont allow partial payments, and they are trying to falsely charge us $551.68. Stay far away!!!EDIT 1: Things have been much improved (noticeable infrastructure maintenance) in the past month or so since Morgan replaced the previous Barvin managers. I bumped up my review some, but will wait to see if the improve customer service continues moving forward.Want to get your car out of the garage in the morning for work? Want to get back inside through the pedestrian gate with your dog while its pouring outside? Want to live in an apartment with working doors? If the answer to any of these is yes... then this isnt the place for you!Honestly, new management by Barvin is so incredibly frustrating. They continually raise fees and costs without any written notice, and they are not very responsive when it comes to any conflict resolution. We have been extremely patient, but continue to lose amenities at the apartment (pool was nasty for many months, game room/library was closed, fridge/freezer in apartment was broken for 4 months, washing machine didnt spin and just left clothes soaked, elevator couldnt be called) while costs only go up.I will be happy to modify my review if management ever rectifies these issues, but I continue to be overcharged for things (including sometimes double charged for rent or utilities). Look at the reviews for Barvin Management to see even more negative reviews about the complex and management. One positive is that Ayron at the front desk has been extremely nice and helpful.
I enjoyed my tour of the property and Ayron was extremely helpful, personable, and professional as we toured multiple units at the community.
My wife and I really liked the REVL Heights amenities, location and property overall. Daniel toured us and the guys a pro. Very kind and easy to talk to. The whole office staff gave off a super welcoming vibe as well. Great location if youre keen on the bayou hike / bike trail, easy access to main highways and other neighborhood highlights. We ultimately didnt lease there only bc we found a floor plan elsewhere that better suited an embarrassingly specific requirement we had. Tough decision bc REVL checked 99% of our boxes. I definitely recommend it if youre interested in living in the Heights neighborhood.
Great place! Daniel gave us an amazing tour and every single apartment was beautiful. Has the best views of downtown and very spacious layouts. Daniel sold us on every aspects and we are moving in this weekend!!
By far a phenomenal value for money, I spent 6 months apartment shopping and picked revl heights over all of the thousands of apartments in the area. the building and units are absolutely beautiful, the neighborhood that we are nestled into is very affluent, quite and well kept. added bonus would be the ease of access to outdoor walking and biking trails. Ayron was extremely helpful throughout the entire process.
We just moved out of this complex last month and have recently been notified our move out charges. Getting charged $285 for damages and $270 for 2 month utilities are not an appropriate amounts.Damage claims were for scuffs on every wall, thats it. No holes in the walls, no unauthorized paint/wallpaper, no carpet damages, no floor damages, or anything that needed repairing. We lived there for 2 years and a few minor scuffs on the walls is considered normal wear and tear. If a coat of paint costs $285 in repairs you might as well rent out to ghosts or youre scamming people out of their money. They also paint every couple years anyways. Its illegal to stick your standard upkeep charges onto your tenants. On to utilities. When Barvin took over at the end of 2021 they had 2 month of backlogged utilities so at the end of our lease we needed to pay those extra backlogged 2 months. Which is fine. But instead we are being charged 3 months of backlogged fees and utilities. When looking at what we had been paying before we moved out and what they are charging us now, the math isnt mathing.
Working with this place has been so great. The staff from the leasing team to corporate team members that always show face to residents on site are always available to help. Barvin, the new management company, has made such a difference in just the last few months. This luxury property now has a luxury team. I’m extremely impressed.
I am a new renter at this apartment and its been a fairly seamless process so far. Shelby from the leasing office was a tremendous help getting me set up. She was able to call and offer me an earlier move in date which she remembered was better for my schedule and was able to offer 6 weeks free as a part of the deal! Excited to get settled in.
Had a tour here with Ayron, super smooth tour. Very informative and comfortable. The apartments itself are very clean, smells good, and very nicely upkept.
Moved in recently and had a great welcoming experience! The property has great views of Houston from all sides. Leasing team was also very easy to work with and maintenance quickly fixed the minor issues that I had.
I have lived at Revl Heights since March and I must say it has been a pleasure living here. Great scenery, and a central location to enjoy what the city of Houston has to offer. The front office staff and Maintenance are awesome and communicates with the community very well! Overall great place to live!
Awesome tour of the property. Very well kept community spaces, amenities are beautiful and clean. Convenient location, walls seem pretty sound proof. I’m looking forward to renting here!
Do not live here. I lived at the building for nearly 6 years.Under Greystar, it was an incredible property that myself and all my neighbors loved living at.When Barvin took over, it was tragic. I ended up going to court to break my lease early due to how downhill the place went. Some of the issues:- Dirty, dirty, dirty! For years 1-5 all the common areas and building grounds were immaculately clean and maintained. When ownership changed, that stopped. Cockroaches, mold on carpets, uncleanness common areas with rotting food left for days, etc. Its disgusting. In my time- Several residents had to go to court against Barvin to get security deposits back from legacy leases with Greystar.- A gas line was broken/ruptured and left unrepaired for over 20 days in spring of 2022. For obvious reasons, this is illegal in Houston where repairs need to be done ASAP on gas leaks.- theft and break ins soared. Initially Barvin fired the security staff. The access gates broke after and remained open for several weeks... open access + no security guards = car theft and break ins to some apartments (throughout 2022).The neighborhood is wonderful; there are several amazing buildings within a mile of here that will be much better cared for, safer, and importantly much cheaper. Save your $$, effort, and frustration and go anywhere else but here.
Just moved in, absolutely stunning views! I was moving from a small town out of state and nervous about safety. I feel extremely safe throughout the complex and welcomed by majority of residents! Both the maintenance and office staff have been welcoming, helpful, and understanding! I did have a few bumps in the approval and move in process with documents needed with having family business as well as with my old apartment utilizing the same online payment system and not allowing me to use my card or bank accounts previously utilized with other complex to pay with. As well as awareness of official physical move in date and discussion of details so we’re a few communications frustrations prior to become a resident but definitely getting better. Staff has been very understanding, and accommodating throughout the process! I didn’t even look at this complex and rented it site unseen with the help of Moral Assaraf (highly recommended her as a locator you can find her on IG) from Sheleg Team, but I am extremely happy with how it worked out! The apartment was super clean and move in ready. Walk to the coffee shop right across the street, easy access to I10, and downtown along with being close to Target and Kroger! One side of the building is a suburban vibe with treetop views then the other is the beautiful city skyline.———————————————————————Update after 3 months originally gave them 5 stars now 3: So many management/ company issues most of the office staff is super nice but the execution isn’t always there. The amount of random charges on your account. They charge you and your expected and help pay for common area costs on top of rent, not in lease. And Fetch delivery service they make purchase, which some resident were able to opt out of fees and others not, they hardly deliver on time. They also made the residents sign addendum that they are only be allowed to have only one guest parking per day! And there is little room for street parking. And their solution to help with decreasing break ins and cars being stolen is to instead, start towing residents cars if they didn’t register with the new program or have flat tire etc. instead of getting cameras security or other possible solutions. The longer I live here the more I see what the negative reviews are about. The view is still wonderful along with the maintenance guys are still absolutely amazing! Most of the residents are super nice. But so many things that are unprofessional and illogical things at the upper levels of the company that effects the residents.
The new management guys are the best I have ever met . They are all very friendly and helpful .Maintenance team are awesome always on time .The trivia event was amazing, thank you management for doing it I really enjoy it .:)
Look, if youre reading this right now? Look no further. This is EASILY the best apartment complex i ever lived in. Luxury apartments doesnt even tell the entire story. I never have to worry about someone breaking in my car (i travel 2 weeks out every month), elevators smelling like weed, great free events for the residents, and did i mention price? People never believe how much i pay for rent when i tell them for how space i receive for it. Im very pleased with my first year here and staying until they come to their senses with the prices lol! Sign up for a tour, thank me later. *Say Cecil sent you so i can get even more money off my rent por favor 😉😂
My tour at Revl Heights was absolutely great. Ayron very kind and helpful, looking forward to becoming a resident here 😊!
REVL Heights Management is very professional, responsive, and attentive. Their overall attitude has made my move much smoother.
Location is KEY!! Besides the convenient location, the property and amenities have been grade A my entire 6 year stay. The Barvin Team, Morgan, Shelby, Ayron. Jeff, and Esteban have been top tier! Theyve gone above and beyond in helping to facilitate my latest decoration project. If youre looking for a peaceful, convenient place in the city to call home Revl Heights should be at the top of your list!
It was a pleasure touring the property with Ayron. Very respectful, knowledgeable and efficient. Would recommend touring the property if you’re looking for a beautiful home in the Heights area
Hillary Whitrock treated me like royalty both on the phone and then in person when she showed me the building and facilities. She went out of her way to explain every detail and made me feel like I was already part of a community even before I submitted my application.
If youre considering moving here, make sure you ask management regarding their parking policy and consider if it fits your lifestyle. I have friends who live here, and I used to visit them to hang out. Unfortunately, its more difficult now because of the new parking policy. The new policy only allow one guest car parking pass PER DAY, and they tow cars without parking passes. Theres also no designated guest parking or street parking outside.Sure, if youre planning a big party, you can rent out the common areas that will give you more guest parking passes. However, if you want to have a 2-4 people over to watch football, play video games, or have a small dinner party, theyll have to Uber or carpool.Ive never seen an apartment with a such a weird policy, Ive never had issues parking here before. Not sure why they started the policy in the first place. On the other hand, location is great, its close to the heights and I10.
Took a tour of this property not too long ago, really great options and layouts. I have a tough decision to make on which one I will be leasing.Shout out to Daniel for walking me through the whole leasing process and for a great tour of their complex!
With all transitions there is growing pains on both sides. I have seen the growth of this property the last 4 months and how Barvin is putting money back into the property. With new landscaping, new tile floors in corridors and painting hallways, and getting caught up on the overlooked maintenance of property. As one speculates and blames the new ownership, but in reality, it was the previous ownership that ran this property down. Morgan and her team are the best in the industry and make you feel at home. This is hidden gem within a short distance to everything Houston has to offer. Dont believe just schedule a showing and you will see for yourself.
I expect more out of the Revl Heights property management considering the location and the reputation of this community, but the issue with our water pressure has been an issue since day one. Maintenance requests have been submitted on various occasions, however, there is lack of evidence that anyone came to resolve the request. Not even a follow-up from the office to see if my request was resolved. I’m very disappointed to write this message and I’m hoping to see some accountability here.
Jesus christ at the price that is being charged for rent, might as well get a mortgage for a house that will be yours!!
Current staff has turned around the complex for the better. I can actually enjoy living here now. Many of the issues the complex has had in the past are no longer present. Complex has seen vast improvements.Maintenance is really receptive as well. I usually only need to wait a few hrs or less to get a response.
90% of the reviews on this site are from employees. Which is why they are about yours and employees. This is the worst managed property in The Heights. The Barvin family is slumlords. They have taken this class a property to a c minus. And they lie about the things they are going to do. This place is now full of crime, drugs and lies
Shelby Dovell | Leasing Consultant | Revl Heights is the recipient of my first ever on line review because her response to my issue reflected a professionalism and authenticity of empathy worthy of mention. Thank you sincerely!I have been a resident of Revel Heights for roughly 3 years under the direction of two different management companies.
Ayron was an amazing tour guide! Very through on his knowledge about the property! Beautiful property with lots of great amenities! Anytime you come to this property ask for AYRON!
Ayron was great at explaining every detail of becoming a resident, also was the best tour I’ve gotten. Excited to become a resident! Thanks Ayron.
I toured the property and loved it. Very nice and great amenities. Daniel Zambrano was very professional and helpful. He answered all my questions and really sold the property. This place moved to the top of my list.
Great place to live; there’s this pool in the center, it has a huge playroom, and a gym. Also it’s always clean and it smells good. I don’t have not even one bad thing about this place. People that work there are also very nice!
This past Saturday I toured with my client at Revl Heights! We had the pleasure of meeting Shelby Dovell our leasing consultant. Shelby was professional, informative and kind. She made my client feel right at home.
December 2021 Barvin purchases the complex. January 2022 to July 2022 numerous residents voice their concerns through 1 star google reviews. Residents felt this was the only conduit to provide feedback. Barvin representatives would not respond to emails about facility concerns. July 2022 the Barvin organization rebrands the complex from Elan Heights to Revl Heights. This rebrand wipes out the pile of 1 star reviews. Notice that most of the 5 star reviews are not residents!Do not choose to live here. There are better places to spend your money. I will be moving out at the end of this lease after living here for 5 years. In 5 years I have had 5 insurance claims for vandalism and theft. 4 of those claims were automotive. Nothing has changed in 5 years. We have an officer that lives here. Dont be fooled, their car is for show. The officer is not on call and there is no way for a resident to connect with them. We have a security patrol that pulls into the garage with flashing lights for about 15 minutes a day and leaves. My truck was broken into and vehicle theft was attempted earlier this year. Another truck was stolen the same night. A Silverado was stolen out of the garage just within the past week. Most recently the office no longer accepts packages. This leads to theft since the office instructs the delivery service to leave the packages on the floor of the mail room. The office claims fetch delivery service is the answer. This delivery service requires your packages to go to a distribution center, be sorted, then you have to sign up for a delivery window.1) Ordered something next day delivery? Go ahead and add a day since it has to go to a warehouse before coming to you2) How horribly inefficient is it to add a middle man to a package delivery? Time and environmental impacts.3) Fetch employees have access to the facility and are not vetted by the office. Another security lapse that has residents feeling unsafe. If you choose to live here make sure you choose a low insurance deductible and get comprehensive! You will use it at least once a year.
My tour with Aryon (spellcheck) was amazing. Beautiful property with amazing amenities. Must see the gym.
Morgan and Ayron are the best. They were great hosts. Trivia night was fun. Looking forward to the next one.
Ayron was very knowledgeable on the building. I stopped in for an impromtu tour and he made me feel welcomed. He was able to answer my questions on the spot. Very nice gentleman!
We drove to the place to know the building and when we came in the guy tell us all the info is online we don’t receive people. The funny thing is a big sign outside offering tours.Bad actitud lazy guys .Nice area more than 2 homeless around the building access. Looks nice but is not
Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The building is across the street from White Oak Bayou Trails. Pet friendly which I love. The views are amazing. Great place to live.
Beware of this place and its one “5 star” review that is likely either fake or coerced. It was recently renamed so that’s why you don’t see the real reviews. Go back and look when it was named Heights at Woodland Park and prior to that Elan Heights. Think twice before choosing this as your next place to live.
The building is very beautiful, Daniel was extremely knowledgeable and detailed about everything in the building, including the city and surrounding areas. The process was quick and I recommend Revl Heights to anyone looking for a place to call home. 👍👍
A great tour and I love the area of the apartment as well as the view it has on the city of Houston.
Ayron was super helpful and knowledgeable about the property. Answered all of my questions and gave a great tour! Beautiful property.
AYRON WAS AMAZING… this place is beautiful, it has everything you need & then some! The space is great and the amenities are to die for! Thank you AYRON for your time & hospitality!
Very nice apartment to live in. Overall the staff is very attentive. Aaron, one of the leading agents up front, is very friendly, helpful, and very diligent with answering questions and getting things done.
Went to tour the property, Ayron was my leasing agent. He was great host made me feel comfortable and want to move there.
I toured back in October and Daniel showed me around and he was so helpful and informative and I loved the property so I lease. My move in was smooth and im very happy that I decided to make Revl my home.
Ive been living here for a couple months now and absolutely love it. Shelby from the front office has been nothing but delightful and tremendously helpful since moving in. She has always solved any of the problems Ive had, and makes this place even better. I highly recommend this place!
I went for a tour and it was the worst experience. Management doesn’t care about future resident so I can tell they don’t care about residents even more since they already signed their lease. The employees at the front desk are very lazy. People needs to research this apartment before signing any lease.
Ayron Gordon, Great tour guide.
Love this dog friendly complex. The amenities and staff are very helpful with any questions I’ve had. Daniel is always making sure his residents are happy!
I have lived at Revl Heights since January of this year. Overall I have had a pleasant experience. The management is always helpful and the residents are nice and friendly. Highly recommend this complex.

I lived here for five years and really was a great place to live until the new management took over. Now the garage is dangerous with lots of crime. Also the facilities are not kept up at all. Beware renting here!

Genuinely a great complex - the staff, maintenance, residents, amenities - you don’t realize how good/great is hard to come by until you start looking elsewhere!

Barvin is a joke of a management company. Not a safe place, common areas are filthy, management seems unequipped or unwilling to fix all of the issues. Stay away!!!!!
