I absolutely love everything about Vista at Park Row! I love the layout of the apartment, the quiet area, the fact there are almost zero pests, and the amenities. Also, I have found the leasing office to be quite helpful, especially Kierra and Elizabeth.I really wish I could give it five stars, but there is one drawback these past few months of living here. The fire alarms. Since I moved in last summer, there have been over 8 false fire alarms.I’m writing this review right after another false fire alarm has gone off. If the alarms were a little quieter, I would have given it more grace. Unfortunately, these alarms are extremely loud and are located right in the bedrooms of each apartment. As a student, I really try to focus on getting as much sleep as I can. Last week, the night before I had two exams the next day, the fire alarm went off at 3:30am. I could not fall back asleep. The alarms have gone off in the middle of the night a few times now, and it has left me anxious and on edge before I go to sleep each night.Even though they have claimed that fire alarm inspectors have come to assess every time an incident has occurred, the problem continues. So, what’s going on?I don’t care if you have to replace every alarm in the building. I want my sleep back, and I can’t imagine how every mother with children or dog owner feels. I feel worse for them in this situation.I love this place, but this really needs to stop. I will absolutely change my review to 5 stars once this gets resolved. Thanks.

I have been living here for about a month & I can honestly say that it has been a fantastic experience!**Location**: The neighborhood is wonderful! It’s conveniently located near shopping stores, groceries, work and downtown.**Condition of the Apartment**: My apartment is in good condition, well-maintained & spacious. However, if there is any issues , the maintenance team is quick & efficient.I appreciate the large windows, high ceilings, updated appliances and the cozy layout.**Management / Leasing Consultants **: I cannot say enough about Kay, the assistant manager. She is absolutely amazing! Kay is incredibly responsive and goes above and beyond to assist residents with any issues or concerns. Her friendliness and dedication truly make a difference, and she creates a welcoming and positive atmosphere in the building. Whenever Ive needed anything, Kay & Kierra has been quick to help, ensuring that maintenance requests are handled efficiently and with a smile. They are the best duo.Except, Elizabeth….Majority of us had a disappointing encounter with Elizabeth, a leasing consultant at Vista at Park Row. From the start, she was rude and appeared uninterested in helping us. Her dismissive attitude and sarcastic responses made me feel like a nuisance rather than a valued potential tenant at the time.Having seen negative reviews about her, I now understand their validity, raising concerns about how she remains employed given her unprofessional conduct. She seemed more focused on her own agenda than other needs, creating an uncomfortable environment that highlighted her lack of essential customer service skills.I hope the upper management addresses her behavior, as everyone deserves respectful treatment. I would not recommend working with Elizabeth for a positive leasing experience. Don’t waste your time dealing with her.**Overall Experience**: What I love most about living here is the sense of community and the overall atmosphere. It truly feels like home, and I have made some great friends in the building. I would highly recommend Vista at Park Row to anyone looking for a wonderful place to live in Houston. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and community, all thanks in part to Will, Kay and Kierra outstanding management.

The complex is nice aesthetically and peaceful but as a colored person it’s not the best place to be and my people will understand . Luxury but 10 cars BurglarizedTwo weeks ago while security on duty and like most complex’s they will say “ we’ll check cameras but you need to do a police report” understand that’s ALL they can do . Security is a joke , on YouTube in a tank top most of the time on first floor with green and white lights , not even blue or red. I’d steal too if I was them . Nice complex though , very peaceful and out the way but neighbors aren’t as accepting or understanding . I’m telling my people if you look at this pls turn around bc I wouldn’t say anything if it wasn’t true , my reviews are few but honest . Good price , good quality but for the price and location trust and believe if you have a nice car or even rims they will be taken here. Management will comment and downplay my review but that’s their job but do I think they are worth the price ? Uhh yes but will you still get your car taken or broken into ? Yes ! It’s Houston . In the great words of Kendrick Lamar “ They not like us” . Find better elsewhere where you won’t be profiled ( hard ) but it’s more people like us . Security is a joke , no gun , not even a vest , watching YouTube in their car . No cap I witnessed it and got pressed by a male security guard bc I said they are a joke but could buck up to me bc I said that but 10 cars Burglarized in two weeks while their here …. Expect apartments too downplay the situation and my review. It’s their job , but my people know ✊🏽

This place sucks! If you see 5 star reviews is because they offer a Starbucks gift card if you write a good review. I lived here for 2 years and was the first to live in my unit. For a new complex this place was infested with huge roaches. If Im paying $1300 for a one bed room I expect to not have that issue but thats actually the smallest of the problems with this place. They let just about anyone live here including thieves. Break-ins happen all the time. Cars left on bricks and the managment never say a word about it.Management enter your apartment atleast once a month. They claim they are making sure the fire alarm works. Ive been apartment living for 10yrs and never did I need my alarm checked this often. They are very invasive and they will enter your apartment when your not home wether you like it or not. You cannot have guest staying with you more than 2 days because they need to add them to your lease.Hurricane Harvey was a nightmare with the management. The units did not flood but the resevoir is our back yard and we were hit the hardest! Stuck on The Heights Park Row Island for 19days! When the rest of Houston had gone back to normal we lived it far longer than everyone else. During that time some of us had our families staying with us, the management decide to give priority to those ONLY on the lease! In a time of need when the whole city is in need they decided to be jerks to our families. They were towing peoples cars out of the complex so that we can get back to work but not for our guest they had to pay $200! The people staying with us where already struggling with their own homes flooding and lets just kick people down in a time of need right? After harvey there was mold on some of the units. When my lease was up and I did my walk thru with the manager she okayed everything said I would get my deposit.. until I got the letter in the mail saying i was paying for the rug cleaning and my utility bill would be withdrawn from the deposit. At the end I only got 1/3 of my deposit. Why lie to me and say my apartment was in great condition, clean and would not be charged? If I where you I would take my hard earned money to a better complex. Dont let the freshly built units fool you. This place sucks listen all the other reviews thats why the reviews are all bad!

Update: Currently driving in the neighborhood taking a shortcut and I noticed that this apartment complex changed their name. I was a tenant here about 4 years ago and it was the worst complex I’ve ever lived in! I too, left a review after moving out discussing how disgusting the property manager Angela and her dog Taylor are to the tenants that live there. In my curiosity I looked up recent reviews and to my knowledge they still work there and they’re still treating the tenants terrible! DO NOT MOVE HERE! I don’t care how sweet they may seem during your tour! Growing up I was always told if people are saying the same thing about you, they all can’t be telling the same lie! Save yourself and go down the street! There’s several over complexes wanting your business.Signed,Somebody you should listen to!

My husband and I moved in just 3 months ago and so far we love it! The neighbors are friendly and my dog has made so many new friends already. Kierra moved us in and was so helpful and kind since the beginning. She even remembers your name after not going in the office for a month or so which is impressive. We had a package incident and the manager Angela was so helpful and apologetic. I really appreciate the steps she took to help me especially since it was just an office chair. The only small complaint I have is the fact that some residents don’t clean up their dog’s poop in the dog park. Then whoever cleans the community every week is stuck picking it up when they clean the park. However I know that’s not something the office can really monitor or control.Overall I would HIGHLY recommend living here.

Looks like there is someone working on the inside that is tipping off the thieves who keep leaving cars and trucks without their wheels. This is the second victim Within 6months that is left on a little bitty brick 🧱 these guys don’t even leave them on cinder blocks anymore…. 2 weeks later another victim- another truck left on the little bitty brick. This makes 3 cars within the 7 months that I have lived here. What a coincidence that the one of the front gates was left open over night. There is security guard that when asked what had happened to the car- his first response was - “well those were expensive tires” as if it is the owners fault for having nice wheels (Lol)

Living here is great, great community, great amenities, BUT if you’re a resident and you refer your family members or your friends this company will give you only $50???? Who does this? They give me $50 after I refer my best friend and his wife at this place, other apartments give their residents at least $500, $1000, or one month free. You guys need to change this madness, a referral bonus can’t be $50 only for a such beautiful complex apartment. I will never refer anyone here anymore.

Living here has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had as a renter in my entire adult life. On the outside the apt looks good but I have never felt more unsafe living anywhere tht claims to be “luxury” in my life. From CONSTANT break ins of units to walking to the parking garage to seeing various cars with broken windows ransacked and sitting on bricks Bcz all 4 tires have been stolen. This was almost a constant thing. Paper thin walls, fire alarms randomly going off at all hours of night, Gates constantly broken, dog excrement alll over the hallways, waking up to wasps INSIDE of my apt as well as other bugs. No idea how these things even get in! ROACHES BIG AND SMALL EVERYWHERE NO MATTER WHAT! My Christmas tree tht I kept in my closet even had a wasp/hornet nest in it!! Flying cockroaches everywhere, SNAKES in the stairwell and one nearly bit my niece! For that I got not even a single apology from the racist leasing staff and the front manager angela who referred to me as “you people” when I was called to complain about the unrelenting infestation of bugs in my unit & noise. Being at the office and being ignored and walked past like I was invisible by Angela and her crew of bigots, while she tended to a “fair skinned” tenant tht walked in 2 minutes AFTER me and ws actually acknowledged. It got to the point I felt it ws necessary to video record all intersections with the leasing office staff for my peace of mind. Though I avoided going to the office for any reason opting to call, they were great at hanging up in on you and forwarding u to voicemail for days at a time. Maintenance request were frequently ignored. (Although the maintenance guys were so so nice and kind I cannot express how nice their maintenance crew had been) At a point, the infestation of roaches and wasps, random snakes, fire alarms, break ins & etc, I spent more time at my friends house because I could not sleep peacefully in my own home due to fear of my personal safety and my physical health!! On move out my unit was in fine condition minus the fridge which I didn’t clean. They took my ENTIRE DEPOSIT and 6 months later I get a call from a collection agency stating tht I owe heights of park row $400?! No single bill was sent to me of anything no call no email nothing. I will advise anyone with children, allergies or anything to live for to stay away from this place! U will regret living here. My only wish is thatu I was able to post pictures on here!

Extremely disappointed with the management service at this apartment complex. It’s clear that they care more about their online reviews than they do about their actual clients. They where constantly trying to convince me to cancel the application until i did.Elizabeth was unprofessional and uncommunicative at all times, i felt like if was begging them to live there. It’s frustrating to see how little they prioritize the well-being of their future tenants. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a hassle-free living experience

Well I’m sorry I had to move out of state, because I would have never moved out! I lived here for 5 years and it was the greatest place I ever lived. The staff in the office was great and so were the maintenance guys especially Santos. The glue of the place is the property manager Angela! She is not only on top of everything like a well oiled machine she is also one of the most accommodating and caring about her tenants and maintains a healthy community environment! I thank you all and hope one day I will be back. Thank you so much for everything.

Edit (after their response): seeing as though they tried to respond with “pet damages” (release of information: VIOLATION) when all I did was post a 1 star for all of the issues I experienced, which my pet provided normal wear and tear ( was only an $80 fee for pet damage…they tried to calculate charges for retaliation involving the manager). Instead of simply going by my review, look at all the other reviews…you will see similar issues….the office and the manager. I’ll leave it at that. Very disgusting and rude individuals! Since you want to include my full name on the review, I’ll be sure to report this to the back office! Also, unless you want your car broken into, I definitely don’t recommend living here.

(Let me start by saying that if you feel discriminated by management here at Vista, as a resident or an applicant, familiarize yourself with guidelines protected under the US fair housing act, and file a complaint with HUD as well as TWC)Angela and Taylor are the rudest employees Ive come to meet here. I very gently requested if I could ask her a quick question about the print computers, leaning forward from outside of the office spaces, as she was with a guest, (as to not interrupt) after literally waiting there for 10+ minutes, her response dont talk to me while im with a guest. I pointed out that this is how they treat their residents, She immediately changed her tone for the rest of her meeting and became incredibly nice, then walks out and tells me we dont do that here and that I should wait for Elizabeth. I explained that what she said was rude, and how she changed her tone thereafter, and how her tone was extremely disrespectful even toward her own guest prior to that point. She immediately changed her tone back, and told me she would call the cops If I dont leave as I was waiting in the lobby for Elizabeth (only decent employee here btw), reverting back to telling me how she cant help me, I explained I was not waiting for her, I was waiting for Elizabeth, and that she should call the police. I began recording the incident from that point. When I met with Elizabeth she was very apologetic for Taylors behavior but didnt appear surprised and, It became very clear from Elizabeths reaction, that her attitude is a regular issue. I honestly wasnt sure if I had done something to offend her, other than possibly interrupting her slightly (at work), since her reaction seemed too severe given the circumstances.I waited for the police, and showed them my recordings (will post soon). Both officers seemed shocked that she had called the cops after realizing I am a resident. I showed them the video and explained that at no point did I even enter the offices. After speaking with the third officer, he explained that Angela (the manager), had requested I would not return back to the office and common areas, including the gym and all the amenities I pay for. This is a breach of the lease agreement, and I am taking necessary steps to address the situation. (Not sure if stating so is against Google reviews or on what basis my original review was removed)Having said that, I dont recommend leasing here unless WRH fires these resentful people and replace them with courteous, customer oriented representatives.Update: today, after contacting the office to pickup an Item I had left there at the time of the incident, It was insisted that I would go into the leasing office to retrieve the item, after which Angela insisted I go in to her office to speak with her (recorded). She then tries to very aggressively convince me that she had not said I cant use the amenities, a 30 minute recorded discussion where me, Angela and the police discussed my restrictions over the gym, commons facilities, and even dissecting exactly how and when I can pick up mail and where I may enter the property from. She mentioned she has read my review, and that they will be delivering a lease violation. Granted if I violated the lease, the community has every right to restrict my use of the amenities, and request to limit my interaction with the office staff to email and phone calls (as indicated multiple times by Angela and the police), yet here I am, being insisted to go into her personal office today, even after giving them the option to bring my item out to the parking area and later to the lobby. I hope the lease violation notice grounded in 0 evidence will serve to justify their actions as intended.

I recently completed a two-year lease here at Vista at park row and I must say it has been one of the most dreadful experiences of my life. Throughout my tenancy, I encountered numerous issues that left me feeling disrespected, mistreated, and utterly unsatisfied with the management and overall condition of the complex. To begin with, the complexs manager displayed a consistent pattern of rudeness and hostility towards both myself and my visitors. On one occasion, she came to my apartment unannounced, banging on my door and yelling at me . This incident was not only unprofessional but also highly distressing. Seeking resolution,p her approach violated the protocol for addressing tenants This unprofessional behavior only reinforced my concerns about her conduct. The lack of cleanliness within the complex was another significant issue. It was disheartening to see months pass by without any improvement in the cleanliness standards. Stains on the floors persisted for extended periods, and the stairs were perpetually covered in bird droppings, posing both a health hazard and an eyesore. It was evident that the management only prioritized maintaining appearances in areas visible to prospective tenants, neglecting the well-being and satisfaction of current residents. In anticipation of potential unjust charges, I took precautionary measures by documenting the state of the apartment through a video. Sadly, my fears materialized when I received a demand for an exorbitant $737, supposedly for cleaning and other minor repairs. This unjustified request further exemplified the managers vindictive nature and her disregard for treating tenants fairly. I sincerely hope that Vista at Park Row, considers replacing the current manager, Angela Tevabaugh, as her behavior and treatment of tenants were completely unacceptable. It is essential for individuals in positions of authority to possess humility and respect for those they serve. As a responsible tenant who never missed a rent payment and always maintained the apartment in good condition, I expected a level of professionalism and courtesy that was sorely lacking. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential tenants to reconsider choosing Vista at Park row

I lived here for a year and I absolutely loved it! The only reason why we left was because of job changes. We are really considering moving back next year. We only had one problem the whole year and that was just with the ac but they fixed it the same day. Anytime there was an inspection they always let you know in advance and they would be in and out in a few minutes. It felt as if we were in the building alone because we would never hear our neighbors. Every once in awhile we would hear walking in the hallway but that’s normal. Overall a great apartment. Only reason why I’m not rating 5 stars is because cars tires do get stolen. Not only on the first floor but on the other floors and in the middle of the day. I do believe that they could hire security or put more cameras considering it happens so often.

March 15, 2024Had a rental car and Elizabeth ( leasing agent) argued with me about a temporary parking pass. She said if she didnt have any available I would have to park in visitors instead of my reserved parking space that I pay for monthly. I asked the assistant manager for help and Elizabeth proceeded to argue with her. Both tacky AND unprofessional to argue with your superior in front of a resident!! That being said, Elizabeth is often rude and clearly thinks its acceptable. But if shes getting away with it, why would she change. When I went to talk to Angela ( property manager) on Monday March 18, 2024, she told me they do not issue temporary parking stickers. This is a complete lie because Ive had several and the car next to me has had at least 3 this year. I dont get the point of Angie saying such a thing but when I pointed out that she herself has given me a temporary sticker, she changed and said the policy is changing. SO if the policy is changing, it has nothing to do with now. Until the policy has changed and residents notified, the statement that it is changing is irrelevant. Additionally, I called WRH management when I had the issue and left a message and they never bothered to return my call.Last month I put in a service request and didnt get any service for over a week. When I went to the office to ask about it, I was made to feel like I was lying about putting in the request! This is not the first time this has happened.About a month ago I had a package being delivered, and Elizabeth called me and said you need to come get your package, or we will have to send it back. What in the world?I was shocked to find this is a WRH Class A property. Id hate to live at their B or C class properties. Avoid this place, unless the office staff changes. OR maybe additional customer service training will help. I dont know. Totally unacceptable! Bring back Cece!2023 Review Update:So I wrote the review on August 3, 2023 and had included a break-in. Management called me and assured me there had been no break ins at this complex, so I removed it from my review. Since yesterday I have researched for myself and found a theft from the building on July 5, 2023, a motor vehicle theft from the parking lot on July 27, 2023 and an aggravated assault on August 2, 2023. At this point I feel like she ( the manager) tried to play on my intelligence. Its the principle. This place has gone downhill in the 2 years Ive lived here. The gates are always broken and one has had a lock on it for about a year. Theres Top Flight security that sits in their car at the main gate which is useless when the side gate (that isnt locked) is wide open most of the time. It has been broken for quite a few months. Recently theyve been closing it at night although its not fixed so residents sit at the gate trying to use their fob to get in. What in the world?Ive had maintenance fix the tub stopper 3 times. At this point I just let it be. They only clean the halls or hall floors when theyre having a tour- I assume its the corporate office or the owners. Otherwise stains on thr walls and floors are not addressed.I know the assistant manager left so maybe thats why things arent getting done, but its quite frustrating.

It’s going to be long but most honest review ever. Don’t get my wrong, the apartments are beautiful. I have Vista to thank for my love of tall ceilings. There will be 15ft ceilings in my dream home. This review is to tell you how to navigate your stay. Because just like Spirit Airlines, it is cheaper to ride but you need to understand the cost. And if it’s too expensive to ride, just stay off.First and foremost, Don’t stay on the first floor. BUGS EVERYWHERE. I saw a spider big as my hand underneath my light one time. Millipedes on our ceilings and our walls in the master bedroom. Had them spray the next day, There were still millipedes on our ceiling and walls every time it rained. EVERY TIME. Snakes, armadillos and feral cats on our patio. There was also a raccoon loose for months. Legit almost stole our door dash order right from my wife’s hands, I wish I was making this up but I have video proof. It was insane. It terrorized the property so much it had tenants staying in their cars for 30 minutes before going home.Valet trash comes most of the time. BUT the times it doesn’t come, the leasing office will charge your for not putting up your trash. Also the pet fee is a (fee) not a deposit. THEY WILL tell you that. The apartment takes $350 from you for a pet fee. They will charge you the fee and when you leave they will charge you for any damages. You will be charged a total of $650 for one pet $25 a month depending on your lease and they will charge $600 for carpet replacement. $1250 for one pet, robber baron energy. They will charge your water bill when you are done. It is a bill 60 days behind and if there is something wrong with it. Oops. You should have noticed there was an issue before we sent the bill because we can’t do anything about it now that you are gone. They legit charged me more on the bill when I wasn’t in the apartment. Than they did when I was. Mind blown still from that interaction.Last but most important. Get everything in writing. By that I mean email everything. They have came to us with frivolous things. Harassing us. And we would prove them wrong every time there would be nothing. No response. No apology. They even accused us of not having renters insurance, even though I pay my renters insurance a year in advance. And when I came with my proof it is radio silence. This was proven my first day on property when I was accused of lying about my friends car getting hit by the the entrance gate, by the leasing manager herself. In person. Because she thought we were doing something nefarious and not him just helping us move in. Never followed up even though she threaten that the camera footage would prove her right. (It didn’t)All in all. The property has its pros. But for me the cons outweighs them. Leasing agents aren’t your friend on most properties but these employees get pleasure out of making sure you pay out of pocket for every thing they can throw at you. Even things you didn’t do. Good luck. And welcome home.

DO NOT move here! this will be lengthy but a worthy read.. they charged $1000 to my credit ! I lived here for one year. Paid my rent on time every time. Had a little to no complaints. for one there are wasps and bees that live in all of the hallways so anytime you leave or go to enter your apartment you’re basically being chased by a bunch of scary bugs that will hurt you..i got my car towed the first day i lived there because one of the women in the front gave me a regular sticker and told me to put it on my car( which i’m not putting a regular sticker on my car they should have the proper parking stickers)so i sat the sticker on my front dash…towed lol..next either the gate is always broken or the fire alarms never stop going off. after i left they charged me for all of the broken things in the apartment that were already broken prior to my arrival and knowledge of them even being broken. Things that I did not notice were messed up until I was living there for months or that i didn’t notice at all..and i had already turned in the “sheet” that goes over everything that’s broken or not in the apartment within the first week. they charged me for a missing fridge tray that i didn’t know what supposed to be there because it was already missing when i arrived. they charged me for their ventilation system in the bathroom being broken and dripping water out of it, and many more things that i had nothing to do with. they charged me 350$ for leaving trash outside the front door in the same spot as usual for the trash guys to pick up on my last day of living in the apartment. When I paid for the month of living there, I paid for that last day as well…basically just charged my credit as much as they could. DO NOT MOVE HERE

If I could have given a 4.5 rating I would have. I lived here for 13 months and loved everything about my unit. Had my job not relocated I would have resigned my lease. The office staff was always very nice and friendly. However, I would agree with a few of the other reviews in regards to the cleanliness of the hallways and garage. The paint lines of the parking spaces are almost not visible because of all dirt in the garage. This dirt gets tracked into the hallways and consequently it also gets tracked into the units. There are all kinds of spider webs in the halls and in the garage. If they were to take charge of this issue and ramp up the cleaning I think the property would look so much nicer. During my stay the halls were not moped daily like a previous review. During Harvey the street in front of the apartment, Park Row Dr, did flood but that was only after they opened the reservoir no flooding during the storm. None of the units were damaged but the complex was on an island of its own. However, the management team was wonderful, they sent out updates via email about the property to keep all residents updated, they offered to tow cars out at no cost to the residents, they even built a temporary road through a neighboring property so residents could come and go as they needed. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would move back in a heartbeat if the opportunity arose.

There was a glitch with my move-in. It was an honest mistake made on behalf of my leasing agent, Ashly. Management acknowledged the oversight, but was seemingly unwilling to come to a resolution. Consequently, I was prepared to cancel my move-in altogether (though it was my actual move-in day and I had no other plan). I decided to drive over to the property in hopes of coming to a resolution in person. Ashly called while I was en route, minutes away, and it made ALL the difference. Once I arrived to view my actual unit, I was still unsure about moving-in. Ashly took me to view my unit, and made me feel comfortable in going through with making their property my new home. From initially visiting and viewing the property, to signing the lease, to moving in, Ashly has been warm, pleasant, personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. Upon my return to the office to sign final documents and secure the keys to my unit, Angela, Sr. Coordinator (property manager), had worked out a feasible agreement for me which confirmed for me that I had made the right decision. Since my move-in, maintenance requests have been handled promptly, Randy has been most helpful with answering my questions in person, over the phone, and via email. His replies have been prompt and pleasant. Thus far, my overall experience here at The Heights At Park Row has been pleasant. I look forward to spending many happy years at this property I call home.

I am a recent prior tenant of Vista at Park Row. I was handling a claim with Taylor. From the moment she spoke with me on the phone she was nasty, unprofessional and inconsiderate. The treatment that I got from her was inhumane. After the phone call the behavior followed to emails as well. I was directed to speak to her on the issue but she was not willing to help me. As a patron of this establishment I was very disappointed with this encounter . You never know what someone is going through but there was no reason for her to treat me the way she did. I hope that she does not give that treatment to the other residents.

Kierra, took her time to make sure that I had the apartment home I wanted as well as needed. By her being empathetic to my needs, I felt as if we had connected, building a relationship I could trust. After my first visit I was able to see myself actually living in a community such as this. It has exactly what I want and that is whatever I need. The community was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. Everything was so beautiful that I felt like I was at a resort. Such a beautiful property, I was looking for something quiet with quiet residents. The property is in a great location. I work from home and study so this is the best. Thank you, Elizabeth for your patience. The management is friendly and the property is extremely well-kept. A courtesy officer walks around the parking area at night, so thats a plus. Behind the property is a walking trail alot of trees so if you like outdoor safe walking this is the place.

If I can give a negative score, I will definitely give a negative score. Today, my husband and our friends and I went to see the apartment here. There was an old lady with a very bad attitude, very arrogant and biased. When I went in the afternoon to ask if there was any vacant apartment that we could see, she said that she could make an appointment for us at other times. I asked her if she could make an appointment for the today later In a few hours, it was obvious that the old lady was very reluctant. I even doubted whether she was racist? We knew that this apartment was even applied before, but no one responded me and we didn’t ask for take our application fee back, We have liked this apartment for a long time , but today Im very disappointed. I really dont recommend places with prejudice and arrogance.

The staff is super helpful (Especially Kheri) and always prompt with dealing in any questions, comment, or concerns. The maintenance staff is great and very friendly. As long as you abide by the complexes simple community rules you will have 0 issues. I have noting but great things to say!

Its not quite as glamorous as they make it out to be. All the rent payers money goes towards superficial nothings such as the really expensive new fountains in the courtyards. They ended up being dollhouse size and hidden for the most part. Thats just one example however I will say if you like quiet this is the place for you. Other than that the employees especially in particular the manager has a reputation of past tenants literally moving out because of her and her alone. She yelled at my father and lied to come into my apartment to satisfy her own curiosities. I could go on but Ill be nice. Overall one star and thats saying a lot because I have literally never rated anything on Google in my life but went out of my way to warn future tenants. Just saying.

I would not recommend this property. The property itself is nice, but that’s about where it stops. The only individual I worked with that was pleasant was Kayla, other than that everybody is just rude. They also believe that because they are standing in the room behind the desks that nobody can hear them. Several times they were in there talking bad about tenants. Also if you care about your vehicle, this is a bad spot - because the property certainly doesn’t care. In my year here I saw about 50 cars broken into or put on bricks. There is no security. Getting through to the office is impossible as well, as nobody answers the phone. Occasionally they’ll respond to an email.I’ve never had a bad experience or left a negative survey with an apartment complex until this one. There are plenty in the area that are the same style, just as nice, and similarly priced, so I’d suggest checking them out.

Ive been living here for two years and I am about to resign my lease for another year. I absolutely love this community, it is such a pleasant place to live! The one thing that makes living here so great is my leasing agent Taylor. I have to brag on this phenomenal woman because she is such a sweetheart and is always willing to help in any way she can. She is simply the best leasing agent this place has ever had hands down and always goes above and beyond! So much so, that she was recently promoted to assistant manager. Her vast experience and awesome attitude speaks for itself. She has helped me on many occasions out of the goodness of her heart-- even after working hours. For example she once held an important package for me to pick up from her when I got home because I was unable to pick up before the office closed. Another instance was when she locked my apartment door for me when I lost my keys and had to rush to work in a panic to avoid being late...she even remembered to let me out the exit gate. I have witnessed and can attest to Taylor helping many tenants here on property even on her days off which is pretty rare in the industry these days. She is even kind to residents that arent very kind and can be down right rude. I would love to see Taylor promoted to manager in the near future because she is certainly deserving of it and is always putting in the man hours! Thank you Taylor for being the genuine person you are and loving what you do!

I wanted The Heights to be my home so I filled out my application before leaving and a few days later I was calling this place my new home. I had a few concerns about which unit to choose due to wanting to pick the most convenient location and I was invited to re-tour with Randy who helped me finalize my decision. We have lived at The Heights at Park Row for over 2 years. It is well managed and maintained. It is relatively quiet for apartments and if neighbors get too noisy it is courteously handled by the staff. We had a problem with an AC last year and the maintenance staff worked tirelessly to fix it. They also gave us a portable AC loaner until it was fixed. If i could give 0 star rating i could . It all starts with the leasing office . STARLA & TAYLOR ( & another employee who just started recently, dont know her name) are super wonderful & are always the nicest whenever i go in , super helpful no matter the circumstance. BUT , another woman who works in the office , Angela is very rude & nasty . I do not see how she still has a job with the apartment complex . She is always impolite & inconsiderate. Always has an unpleasant attitude that makes me not want to go to the office even if its just to pay my rent. I have greeted her multiple times & received a very distasteful expression. I sometimes feel like racism contributes to our encounters. When she helps out a Caucasian resident it is a different atmosphere/ scenario. I am always displeased & disgusted with her behavior and attitude . As i see by the reviews other people are as well dissatisfied with her . I dont see how they have not took initiative and further disciplinary actions to correct her behavior . Enough about the leasing office , these are so called luxury living apartments but yet the walls are so thin i can hear my neighbors restricted breed howling & barking at most hours. Also there are multiple outlets that do not work in my apartment. My trash can that looks like its worth $5 (the most) already broke, im always finding myself putting it back together since i moved in. But these are luxury living apartments right ... Please do not waste your money at these overpriced apartments. Im ready for my lease to be done with & im still locked in for another long 10 dreadful months . Yikes .

**UPDATE: was never contacted or even left a voicemail in regards to this review like they claim, also never contacted or received a letter they claimed to have sent even though I had mail forwarded to my new address, for move out charges which were sent to collections before emailing a “courtesy email” to “avoid it being sent”. Like I said, it’s not worth it to move here. They don’t care about current or previous tenants or maintaining those relationships. The way this place is managed is unprofessional and unorganized, and borderline unethical. I felt staff and management acted a bit rudely on reasonable issues I addressed or questions I had. Not sure if it was because I’m a young adult (mid 20s) or what the issue was but maybe as some advice to staff, try to act like you care about every resident, or treat a resident or previous tenant or their concerns with respect and some compassion. It makes life just a little easier if people are more helpful and respectful to each other.Tried to enjoy being here and tried to make excuses for some things, but can no longer support this complex in the way things are run and priced out for the quality or lack thereof.

Warning to all! This place looks great and could be wonderful because it is an awesome location, BUT it is overpriced and has a the worst community manager (The manager and her whole office staff not worth mentioning their names). There’s a special place in hell for the people that work in the office here. Do not move in. You will have your own nightmares about this place. Break ins happen every month over 30 cars at a time. Even in the gated garage with security cameras they will do nothing about it. Patio items will also be stollen off your porch. Fire alarms will go off for hours in the middle of the night. They will not let delivery drivers in the gate to deliver items or meals. They will hold your packages for days until you come asking for them. They will not allow meal kit deliveries to your doorstep. The entrance gates are always broken. They will tow your car even if you live there. They will charge you extra for trash pickup (on top of the 300 dollars a year if you do not fold your boxes to their liking.) They will loose your checks. If your apartment floods due to their negligence they will give you one night stay at a hotel while they do a halfway job and paint over water damaged sheetrock walls. Do not expect them to care about you or your home. This is not a luxury apartment there are much better places for this price. I could go on but do I really need to?Don’t be fooled they will put on a good show and change the name, but the manager has not changed and the respect and service towards their residents hasn’t either.

Manager does not correct issues great to small. Have lived her for over a year, and have asked repeatedly for resolution on issues that continue to occur. She would rather argue her point of view than to resolve issues. Frustrating because I love the actual apartment, just dont care for the lack of customer service. To follow up on the response received yesterday, 1/18/2021 I have done my best to resolve these issues with the manager for months, hence the reason I have taken to social media. There has not been ANY corrections to the issues raised including the small ones. I have been told several times by management that the property is walked by leasing office staff each day, this CANNOT be the case as the small issues from the same people are consistent throughout the property. As stated in my email to management over a month ago, if I was this ineffective in resolving issues at my job then I probably wouldnt be employed very long.

Ive lived here for about 18 months and I love this place. Im relocating to a different state for work and Im sad to leave. This has by far been the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in. Back when I moved here, the ratings for this place were low and I didnt understand it. The place itself is beautiful. Whenever I have any guests, they absolutely adore the interior and just how beautiful the property is. The ceiling is the highest it can be for an apartment (Im also on the top floor so that helps) I love that there is a direct route to Terry Hershey Park and because the property is right on I-10 it is a short drive to so many key spots in Houston. Now my only real complaint...the staff isnt very friendly. Its not that theyre not helpful. Theyll help me when I need. However, every time I go into the office I feel like Im bothering them. Its really strange. Im really big on customer service and I always pick the top notch places even if I have to pay a little bit more because I appreciate friendly staff. I really think the leasing agents can use some training on how to interact with the residents. Theres just something odd about them (especially the two who sit in the front). Almost moody in a way...Other than that, I think snakes, lizards, giant roaches are an issue. But, I dont really blame the property for it. The area surrounding it is green so thats a given that you may see these insects and lizards every now and then. Im truly very sad about leaving this place. Thankfully Im a pretty low maintenance resident so I didnt actually interact with the staff too much (I have a few other friends who live here and they feel the exact same as I do about the staff). But the chances of me moving back to Houston within the next year are good and Id definitely move back here in a heartbeat.

I have been a resident here since November 2015. Knowing this is a brand new property a certain amount of forgiveness is owed. All of the employees are friendly and professional. I mostly deal with Angela and Kheri. Angela was the first person I met. Any time I have had an issue I simply mention it to Angela and she has promptly taken care of it. But Kheri, she was my savior. My apartment was supposed to be ready September 19, but due to an inordinate amount of rain the move-in date had to be moved to November 20, which actually ended up being better for me. When I called later to confirm the November move-in date, unfortunately it still wasn’t going to be ready. I told Kheri that I wasn’t going to be able to postpone my move-in date again. Within 20 minutes not only did she find me an apartment ready to be moved in on my November 20th date, it was bigger, better and fit my circumstances better. She went above and beyond to make me a happy tenant. For people who are looking at this property…give it a chance, its still new. If I could give it a 0 out of 5 I would. The management is extremely hostile and useless. They are always on the defensive or offensive and never really know what they are talking about. They are rude and contemptuous to their tenants who have an issue. While the apartments themselves are nice enough it is definitely not worth the $1,600 a month or more to deal with the leasing office. In addition to this terrible experience I have another. I was moving out, I have orders (military) taking me to a new duty assignment out of the area. The staff member (who claims to be former military) says we cant break lease without 60 days prior notice. The lease clearly states 30 days for military with orders. I have to contact the front manager (always a treat...) to get things cleared up. Then upon moving out we have the apartment inspected which we left it cleaner than we got it (work dust everywhere upon moving in) we get the all clear from the inspecting associate. They then give us our check for security deposit and upon checking the amount my wife (accountant with skills) notices that it is short over 100 dollars. they have barely gotten us our money after we called several times. The management is ignorant of its own policies and must be check on over and over. They are so defensive when you have a complaint that isnt even on them and try find a way to turn the blame onto you. DO NOT RENT HERE ITS NOT WORTH IT!!!

All maintenance does is come in and pour Freon….. it’s beyond just adding Freon(and I’m not a maintenance person). They do not want to spend the $$$$ that I pay EVERY month and install a NEW unit. Duh problem fixed

Lived here since they opened, during construction, management is professional & helpful. Maintenance is quick to fix anything such as changing ac filters. Love living here. Management has rules and enforced those rules, but it only makes this place nice, neat, & clean. I recommend this complex! People leaving negative reviews, probably don’t follow the rules!

My sister lives in one of the 2 bedroom apartments here and I have to say I am very impressed with the place. I can’t say much regarding the services since I don’t live here myself, but the location is very convenient with a great view. It is about 5 minutes away from a highway and there is no noise issue at all. If you’re in search of an apartment check this place out!

Pros: Beautiful building great surroundings.Negatives: It starts from the leasing office (Starla is a wonderful person. Rest of them dont even want to greet you if youre not WHITE). My cousin leased an apartment in the complex two days ago. A resident living below repeatedly kept coming upstairs and complained about running noise. We apologised the first day but then he started coming up repeatedly and complained about the noise and started being agressive to the women in the apartment. The least said about him the better.Moving on, both parties complained to the leasing office and within minutes two staff members knocked at our door and started taking sides. Apparently one of them spent 20 minutes in his apartment and could hear us running in our apartment. It is funny because we were watching Netflix for the past 40 minutes.Forget the resident, the Managements approach towards us was SHOCKING!!!! We politely asked them to spend twenty minutes in our apartment which they refused. Surprising, they were more than willing to spend twenty minutes in someone elses apartment (who was WHITE). Further, they indirectly threatened my cousin that they can ask a resident to vacate. They said we need to change the way we walk so it doesnt disturb the resident who is used to not having someone living upstairs. Conclusion: DO NOT Lease in this apartment if youre not WHITE. You will face racism not only from the residents but also the MANAGEMENT who pick sides and do not want to listen to you.Tip to Management including Senior Management that knocked at our door: Take lessons on Hospitality and how to greet residents and visitors from Starla and please learn to smile. Wouldnt hurt anyone :-) While I write this I can hear squeaking noise from above but all we do is smile and say to ourselves Welcome to Apartment Living.Do not waste your hard earned money here, several options elsewhere with nicer people.

There are huge american tree roaches everywhere. I have found 7 inside our home and we just moved in. Lets not forget to mention the ones in the halls that are there to greet you by your door when you get home. The pest control that you pay for every month is a joke, the guy never knows much about the bug species itself so he definitely doesnt know how to get rid of them. He typically just sprays in the corner and leaves you to fight off the roaches yourself. Oh and if you have asthma or allergies like myself this place triggers it because the nasty roaches are everywhere.Another thing is that the security here is a joke which is why it isnt a surprise that there have been break ins here, Everyones security system has the same master pass code so that maintenance or management can come in whenever you are not home. So maintenance, management, and the hundreds of other tenants here all know the passcode to turn off your alarm. Its the dumbest thing ever. I deleted the master code from our system after learning that someone entered my home without my knowledge. The apartments are cheaply made. It looks like they threw it together. When we first moved in we were stepping on staples coming out of the carpet and we had no hot water.Angela from the leasing office will belittle all of your concerns and never follows through on her promises. She can also be very rude.

Well, I just was planning my touring to this place tomorrow, but fortunately, I used to read the reviews first. (thanks God) Its known that you will expect some bad reviews by tenants and you also may expect to read more personal problems or particular issues than common problems, because people are more enouraged to write a review when they are mad. But when you read those problems which are basically the same, It could be a bad indicator.Unfortunatly, i have found a lot of bad reviews which are based on main problems which are repeated throughout the months. Others, like Harvey, are not things that could change my mind, because Harvey was something that affected anyone and everywhere, specially on this area, and even it was a natural phenomena. Same with the person who had no lamps inside the apartment when moved (particular issues)... But the problem with the leasing offices staff, the problem with the vandalism, broken cars, and thieves; the problem with the plagues, roaches, snakes, spiders, bees... even the problem with the visitors, parking lotes, and gates... Those are things that are repeated on the reviews throughout the years and definitely things nobody wants to tolerate.Very disappointed because I had high expectations on this apartment complex. : (

Honestly this has to be the worst apartment application process experience I’ve ever had. First I would say all staff are unprofessional, they do not respond to their emails and very rude. I would not apply for this apartment. It’s a waste of time go else where, where your time will be respected and the building smells like cockroaches. When you walk in the walk in the hallway all you see is snakes and one snake bite my face.

I have recently moved to Houston, TX and have been trying to move closer to work for quiet a while now. I also have been on a month to month lease just not to sign a contract and to be free to find what I liked etc..I can not say this enough, but the number of places I’ve visited near the area, “The Energy Corridor” where the Beautiful Heights at Park Row is located. and my previous location which was by the Galleria Mall. Let me tell you, no where did it feel right and homie for me until I entered the the Heights at PR. The cherry on the cake however, was Mrs. Hollie Alford. If you want to speak of class, professionalism, warmth, attentiveness to what’s important to me; the client, and quickly finding solution after solution to all my concerns. On top of that, her friendliness is just refreshing and is as it should be everywhere.Thankfully, not only is Hollie a Star, but honestly every single staff member I met while prospecting, made me feel welcomed every time out of the 5 times I’d visited and going. And that’s special, at least to me and I noticed that everywhere else I went and more places than none were missing that human touch.Hollie, thanks again for assisting me, and please know that I highly appreciate your help throughout.Sincerely.Y-H

Lived here for about 6 months now. Very nice place. The parking garage has more than enough space for all residents however I am a little concerned about the narrowness about the corners. A mirror would be helpful as Ive had a few close calls with people speeding around the corners. a head-on collision in the garage would not be a good thing. Also the ceilings seem a bit on the thin side. Ive lived at 3 other complexes over the past 8 years and this is the first placed Ive lived where I can hear clear footsteps of our neighbors above throughout the day and night. Could be due to the wood flooring not having enough soundproofing material in it. The property is well kept and the office staff is friendly, however it does take them a while to respond to emails.

Management is bad. Just an example people are complaining of the issues they are having with the complex and they are just making excuses online. They say that they scan everyone who comes in the complex but apparently they are not doing a great job. Complex if you want less theives in the complex have some more criteria to get in the apt. Higher deposits higher prices something that will push the wrong people away.Going to do inspection of the smoke detectors 1 a month is to exaggerated is not needed by law. The apartments are way to expensive to be in an area that floods like this one flooded like the way it did a very bad house arrest no matter what is behind or in front to have influenced the apt to flood management don’t come to my comment to make an excuse of this because there is nothing that justify the price with this flooding issue.Rodent issue is not acceptable. If we have pest advice neighbors of infested apt and try to get them controlled too sometimes is not even the apt that reports the infestation.Security camaras... use them for what you are supposed to keeping people safe. I’m guessing if a big graffiti shows up in all the parking the next day ou will look at the footage because that’s how you guys do.Management is terrible and who ever answers this reviews is worse because that person is trying to blame all the complex flaws and blame it on the residence.....Hey residents there is a legal prepaid service called LEGAL SHIELD..... get it if you are moving here because you will be doing lawsuit left to right....

Its known that one of the cons of living in an apartment complex instead of having a home is that there are some rules and conditions that you have to follow. However, this complex dont have interest on having happy residents. My sister lives in here, and as a guest, visits are painful.*IF YOU PARK INSIDE THE GARAGE you cant get out if the resident doesnt ride with you and open the gate with a remote. Today my sister was sick and asked me to visited her for lunch. I stayed only for lunch because I had more things to do. I didnt want to bother so I told her I will wait a car to get out. I saw a car that was about to leave and stayed there waiting. Then, a lady walked to me and asked me what I was doing there, I said I was waiting for someone to get out. She started blaming me that because of people as me the gate is broke down and why my sister didn open the gate for me. Also, she asked for my name, my sis apt number. I told her, that she was sick, and normally she walks me to the gate. She was very unfriendly, and said that she will send a warning to my sister, and took a photo of my plate. I wasnt doing anything but waiting for a car to get out.* Imagine that you have your grandfather living in here, your pregnant wife, or maybe you had a surgery. If you or them are not in conditions to go down, they dont really care, there is no tolerance to you or your guests. This is the first complex that I see with this security system. If they want to protect residents (building) from the vandalism in the area they should think in their comfort as well. Why they didnt install a calling system from the inside as well? i think is because they dont want to spend more money. Bothering residents and their guest is much easier.** In addition, my sister told me that the manager was very upset because I took the dog with me. She said that they do not allow dogs as visitors. SHE SAID THAT IF I WANT TO VISIT HER WITH MY PET I HAVE TO PAY FOR A PERMIT......***Note: you can ear everything through the walls. I can hear her neighbor in the bathroom, TV, music, etc.....

I just canceled my application process to this place today. Its unfortunate cause I was sold on it on my initial visit. The new staff I met today made me feel unwelcome there. I was never offered a seat and was met with questions like: What are you here for? When did you fill out an application?, Who helped you? along with a look that says a lot. I suggested that she pull my application online...I was done by this point. No community is great enough without it people that brings it alive. So huge training opportunities here.

These apartment are not worth the price. Yes these are luxury apartment and they are nice... high ceilings, gated community, etc etc. My problem with this apartment complex is it has wayyyyy too many rules/fee... for example: trash valet is from sun-thurs from 6-8pm. I work and I dont get to my apt until 9-9:30pm so my trash NEVER gets picked up. So i decided to leave my trash out earlier in the day... NOPE! thats a fine. There is a FINE if you have a family member stays with you for a short period of time... umm last time i checked this is MY family and this is MY apt... nope FINE! the list goes on and on... DEFINITELY WILL NOT RESIGN! Ill problem wouldnt recommend for young professionals either. From dogs barking all night long to babies crying... its just annoying. I give it 2 stars because the LOOK of it is nice no doubt about it.
