I have rented several properties through Sterling Real Estate Group for the last 5+ years. The staff at Sterling are reliable, knowledgeable, and always quick to return my calls or emails. They provide a personal service notifying you when repairs exceed your personal monetary tolerance threshold and have a mature network of contacts to ensure repairs are done quickly and right the first time. Their accounting is spot on making end of year taxes a breeze. Their screening of tenants has been spot on and I trust in their recommendations completely. I initially listed my first house with them when I had to move unexpectedly and then added a second a couple years later. Living out of town means that I need a company I can depend on, and Sterling is that company. I plan to us them as long as I rent my two properties.

Sterling has been managing my property since 2006. I lived across the border for many years and felt comfortable leaving my property management responsibilities in their hands. Ive been very happy with their services and still use them today.

Poor communication. When I finally moved out they lost my move in paperwork and tried to charge me for damages that were on the house before I moved in. They even tried to charge me for 8 door stops to be replaced when only one was damaged and there were only 6 doors.I was yelled at in emails that were all caps and exclamation marks. After about a dozen emails exchanged they miraculously found my paperwork and reduced almost $1,000 worth of initial charges with no apologies for their mistake or how they spoke to me.But thankfully rent was affordable. If you go with this company just keep a strong amount of paperwork and detailed logs for every time you need to call them for repairs. I would even recommend recording phone calls because their staff can be short and rude with you over the phone but the final move-out process wont believe you.

Emptied our house cause my father had passed away. Submitted our keys and cleaned the house. Never got our deposit back. Called them to ask and the lady made up a story that it was used to get the house make ready but it was actually done by the owner. She didnt have any figure but they just decided to keep the money without reaching to the customer. Still waiting on what was wrong and what was fixed. I had pictures of the house in the condition we left just so I can have it for my lawyer if they give us any issues.

Ive rented homes for over ten years and this group by far has been the best. The home was in good shape when we moved in, and when we found a few small problems, they immediately took care of it. Even 6 months out, whenever we have a problem, they they take care of it right away. Always easy to get a hold of and always polite and eager to help. Very pleasant experience so far.

Sterling has managed our properties for the last 9 years, and they are very experienced in dealing with tenants, contracts, maintenance, etc. Very useful if you have no time to manage rental property.

Sterling Real Estate made renting our current home easy! We loved working with them to get into a house and they always answer any questions in a timely manner.

Unpleasant customer service, they will always look for the slightest excuse not to return the initial deposit and it is useless to fill the inventory form with the current state of the property when renting, since they do not care, only the benefit of them and their customers . We always paid them in advance, we never had complaints, we delivered the property as best we could and they took $ 500 of our money unfairly.

I bought my rental property in the early 80s and the sterling group is the onlyt mgt company that I have ever used! the return my calls/emails promptly and always answer my questions.

I dont recommend this company, first able the staff is unprofessional, not respect the policy and procedure of resident handbook, the treatment is nasty and unprofessional, in my opinion, all the office staff should be fired. I would never tell a friend or relative to rent on that property.
