Krishna Management does not deserve even one star. They have acquired the apartment complex where I live. They have changed the name from Park at Voss to Star Voss. When I moved here almost 8 years ago, it was an ok place to live. Over these 8 years, the property has changed hands numerous times and each time this place has gotten worse. When Krishna Management took it over at the beginning of this year, I was hopeful that it would be better. Instead, living here has become a living nightmare. It is always dirty with trash all over. They never vacuum or clean the hallways. The roof in my building is so bad and the ceilings in the hallways are on the verge of collapse. Every time it rains, the hallway ceiling right outside my door leaks and the carpet is soaked and the ceiling is peeling off. The whole hallway smells like mold. We tell them about it, they say they will take care of it, but they never do. The laundry rooms are absolutely gross. I cant even explain how bad they are. Yet, these things are not near as bad as what the Krishna Management has done to this property. The only saving grace for this place was the beautiful landscape and trees and the birds and squirrels that lived in them. The new management is cutting down all of the beautiful trees. These are trees that were so big and beautiful and that have been here for a very long time. They are cutting them all down. It makes me sick to see what they are doing. The grounds are unsafe because of all of the debris left from all of this. This is a big family place, and it is very unsafe here for the children. It is a shame that instead of fixing the roof, fixing the laundry rooms, and getting this place liveable, they have chosen to cut down the trees and destroy what makes this place good. Whatever you do, dont move to Star Voss Apartments and never move to any place that is owned by Krishna Management!!

Be careful when vacating there properties. I had the initial lease agreement with ’Park at Voss’ and Star Voss took over later. They have my security deposit and are not responding (multiple emails to manager and calls). I left the property within a month or two of this new management. They added some absurd charges for ‘Paint’ and ‘Trash’. All the apartments of this property have stains due to water leakage (main reason of vacating this property, provided this reason along with photos to manager when vacating). Those are the same walls but they want to charge me for that paint saying it is in my leasing agreement but fun part is that it isn’t on my lease with Park at Voss. I made sure to clean up the apartment and didn’t displace the trash anywhere on the property but they charged for trash. Also they charge you renter’s insurance even if you have your own. When provided proof they promised to remove them but still didn’t. This property was worst before and now this is going to become hell. You have been warned

Krishna Management took over my complex after I renewed my lease. Since they have gotten here they changed things that was the reason why most of us lived there. They cut down all the trees, put up gates that look like a jail house, and painted everything white so that it looks like a project. Also there have been many renovations but for some reason they never send out a notice. Once I was leaving for work and I couldn’t get out the gate, another time they were doing concrete work by the gate and I couldn’t park behind the gate for a week. Another time when they destroyed my patio while I was at work. Again no notice. This is the worst management company they really don’t care about the residents here and it shows.

Horrible in every waySave your health and your sanity.Roaches crawling floors& walls-not just in the kitchen-they’re eeeevvveerryyywherrrreee, allll the time.You will not have ac for weeks at some point—100%Ac leaks constantly causing mold-3 months and many in person visits to the office to get a work order answered. This is the norm.Wash machines never ever ever work. EverYou pay for valet trash but the trash is left piled around for days.The pool has been green for 4 months.BUT-there is all kinds of construction all day, till 8pm , even on weekends, to “enhance quality of living”…no more trees, no shade to walk or park anymore-they have cut ALL of them down.Security is a joke-loud parties till early morning hours with trash everywhere after.Management is absolutely horrible.Some of the worst human beings I’ve ever encountered. It’s amazing you can get a group of people to behave this way for their job.They will treat you as inhumanly. Count on it.Dirty rotten apartments and staff.

Evil company took over Park At Voss and butchered all of our beautiful old trees that have stood for decades. Decades to grow days to destroy. These were priceless pines, oaks, magnolias! They cut down a gorgeous crepemyrtle as tall as the building. They seem to have a rabid VISCERAL HATRED of trees like the orcs of Isengard since they did the same thing to the Chateux Dupre now Star Westheimer. This seems to be their MO for all their properties. Apparently they do not eant to spend a penny on groundskeeping. I argued with a manager and her reply was if they tell us to cut down all the trees then thats what were going to do. Im not going to fight management over trees So this is coming from the property owner.It is month three of their improvements, and i am not impressed. As of writing this they have destroyed the last intactoak by the fitness center. The pools are still closed, the mailboxes are still broken and outgoing mail can be pulled out from the wall with a strong enough tug. There are damaged portions of drywall, smashed doorframes, mold in the halls, but they have spent the past two months tripping over themselves to mangle every single tree on the property.They have destroyed the aesthetic of this place. They installed these enormous floodlights on all the roofs that make night as bright as day suck up who knows how much power and make the courtyard look like a prison compound. Now their latest improvement is slapping on their trademark ultra tacky white and blue paint job. No one asked for this. Look at any other place up and down Voss, you dont see properties look like this. It is summer, there should be kids playing in the pool, families enjoying the shade, but they dont seem to care about community.Unless you have a giant pile of money to burn like the Joker in the batman movie or like living in a desolate ruin, avoid any property owned by Krishna or their parent company Tara Capital! You look on their website and its all about our investors. You are not a resident, tenant, or customer. You are a pay piggie. Souuuuie pay piggie, souie! They try to sneak in small charges and fees here and there in hopes you dont notice.They want to hike rent to bring it in line with neighboring properties, but those are new buildings entirely. The Park has existed since the 70s, same buildings. Even when they butcher trees they leave branches lying for days. If you plan to live at a property owned by them congratulations it will look ugly and your car will bake in Houstons crushing humidity. I have lived here 20 years and never seen this sort of slapdash work. Construction supplies are strewn everywhere taking up space for weeks. I will not renew my lease once it is up. I cannot forgive what theyve done to this once beautiful place.Barvin, Asset Plus, BH, I think Richdale many years ago, none of them did this! They hiked rent because of property value but have completely DESTROYED this place. As much money as they are sinking they could have just evicted everyone and leveled the place to build a new complex entirely. Maybe then I wouldnt be so upset. They have turned these apartments into a nightmare from which there is no waking. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but I researched their portfolio and all of them have trash ratings ranging from maintenance, customer service, pests, and price hikes. They apparently think everyone has infinite money or can farm loot like a videogame. 3 months and all they have to show for it is ruined trees, half-finished projects, and a handful of dolled up vacant units!

Rude office staff, slow to respond to maintenance requests. I was without properly cooling a/c for more than 5 days, and was given a different excuse everyday as to why my a/c was still not fixed. Keep in mind that at the time my a/c was not cooling properly that it was 90-95 degrees outside in late June and early July. It was 85 plus degrees inside my apartment for all those days. I called the emergency after hours maintenance number, which is laughable because no one ever called me back or responded to my calls. As soon as I am able to move away from these apartments, I am leaving. The customer service is horrible. The staff is not helpful and/or rude (Alexandria), and maintenance requests are not taken care of promptly. I reported the exterior lighting was out in my building for more than 3 weeks now, I reported it in person twice and online 3 times, and it still has not been fixed.

If there was a no star option Id chose that.Star Westheimer ApartmentsOld management was bad, you guys are worse. Your office staff is incredibly rude and inconsiderate. The paint you did to make it look nice, aint nothing but a bandaid on a stab wound. Maintenance will come in your house unannounced. Theyll come do projects you did not ask for before 8am without notice.In July with Krishna MGMT, they left Valet trash on my front porch for 2+ WEEKS without picking it up. (Yes I let it sit there until they got it.) Mind you, you pay for that. If you want to be ignored by MGMT when you have rent checks to deliver and have uncontrollable roaches and mice, move here! These guys dont have there priorities straight and are fixing superficial issues instead of REAL ones. Moving out next week.Will continue to tell everyone I know to never rent from Krishna Company. Im sure you guys are good people but youre not good at keeping up apartment buildings.

Where to I even start.. the owners are disrespectful.. tearing up the apartments from the outside.. worried more about fixing things no one ask for.. it is a hell hole.. no hot water.. comes and goes... want to up the price for $200 extra.. there is no lights in the hall way its so dark walking the complex.. pls do yourself a favor.. unless you got money to spend.. pls go spend it somewhere else and not here.. its insane how much the complex went downhill so fast

They will take as much money from you as possible. The people in charge here are very insensitive and view us customers as just another number to them.

No costumer service at all . Try calling the phone number it doesn’t work and they also don’t reply or answer any emails .

Horrible company with people who pretend to like you, but will try to get as much money out of you as they can by improving the apartments. They will soon become suspicious of you and wont look you in the face. Rats, cockroaches and a list of problems they wont solve because they are stingy with money and where they invest their resources. If you are looking for a home, save your hard earned money and look for a home somewhere else. Houston has plenty of options on Har.com as well. With much love.
