I discovered Leslie Lerner Properties from a Google search and didnt know anything about her company. When she listed and sold our house all went exactly as promised on her website. So long as youre OK with unattended buyer viewings (available for an extra fee I think), all other services were completely full service for much, much less than a traditional broker. And unlike some discount brokers, Leslie advised on negotiations and contract terms so we didnt have to do this on our own.

Ive known Leslie for years and when it came time to sell my townhouse, I knew I could count on her. I live out of state which made me a little anxious about trying to sell from 1200 miles away. Leslie made the process amazingly easy, took great photos of my townhouse, helped us come up with an appropriate asking price and got it listed quickly. We sold the townhouse in 36 hours, above asking and for a record price in my complex (for that floorplan)! She had to do extra work because the buyers agent was new to the business. At every step, my interests were protected. Her flat fee was perfect and saved me money. She handled everything with me for closing remotely. I felt that my experience working with Leslie Lerner Properties was not a positive one. Leslie was not my agent but the agent to the seller of the home I purchased. Trying to work for a mutually beneficial agreement felt miserable and exhausting. I felt no matter what my agent requested for in amendments, it was always rejected. I asked to follow the 10 day ROFR agreement as per the HOA guidelines but the seller and agent would not budge and kept asking for a 14 day agreement so I acquiesced after going back and forth. Fine, that’s ok. We found out that the closing would be delayed 4 days -2 business days- and the seller asked for a 50$ daily fee till closing. I stated i would not pay it but despite my agent repeatedly telling them no, I felt that I was starting to get taken advantage of. To me it seemed there may have been a lack of communication between seller and agent. Our contract did not have a clause regarding this and an email from the agent stated the closing date was flexible. Im sure Leslie is a great agent, but I did not enjoy working with her and in my opinion she did not seem play fair. I felt my first time home buying experience was not as enjoyable as it could been. I received threatening emails from Leslie Lerner properties attorney to take down my review. Fortunately, I have a right to share my experience and I am not fond of threats.

It has been many years since I needed the services of a real estate agent. Years back, a buyer spent lots of time and gas going out to see houses. The process is easier now with Internet listings, and Leslie is on top of the game. She was so helpfrul. I like her style and she has an upbeat personality.
