All the staff are nice and the office is such a cute one with all the snacks & drinks are always filled up. The escrow officer Erica really communicated and quickly responded as well.

This title company was chosen from the seller and they took forever to respond. They are supposed to be a neutral party innthe transaction yet they wohld stop communicating with the lender as per seller request and kept delaying the transaction. When I called them to ask them to respond to the lender so we could speed up the process I was yelled over the phone. We pretty much needed an email from the seller every time they needed a response. I will not be using them again and I would never chose them as a title company. Worst experience ever.

Texas American Title was a sellers choice.The title company provided the brochure with home warranty plans and asked us to choose, we chose the premier plus plan.After the closing the home warranty company called and said I had a basic plan instead.It was brought to the attention of the employee of the title company who provided the brochure in the first place. She only said it was a courtesy! (title companies are getting paid, so, sorry, its not a courtesy) to order home warranty and basically the fact that the brochure was outdated would be brought to the attention of the processing department and management, no apology, not trying to make it right, nothing.I guess they are ready to loose the perspective customers over $100.There are plenty of title companies with professional attitude, look elsewhere.And in general, if you need to check everything and order everything yourself, then why would you need a title company as a middle-man at all?!

They incorrectly estimated the property taxes, when I brought it to their attention they made no attempt to correct it and claimed that it was a matter for the buyer and seller to settle at the end of the year. As the buyer on the short-end of the mistake I requested the sellers contact information to follow up with the seller to settle the matter. Texas American Title refused to even give me sellers contact information and was never offered an apology for the mistake.When looking for a title company to facilitate a purchase/sale of a home, I recommend looking elsewhere.

This office, and particularly their loan officers and managers, are completely unresponsive. I had a serious issue with my refinance that i needed help with, and I was told multiple times by the front desk over the course of a MONTH (multiple emails and phone calls) that a manager would get to it when they had time. Was finally told by front desk that there was nothing they could do. Still havent talked to a manager or loan officer once.
