I’m very impressed with the level of service that ARS provides. I called about my old water heater that was starting to leak and inquired about getting it replaced. The appt was set up immediately and the tech was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He provided me with different options of water heaters and had reasonable prices for a water heater replacement. I went with another 40 gallon tank. The installation crew had it replaced in no time!
Justin that came out and installed our tankless water heater was amazing to deal with. Him and his helper worked hard, communicated well and left zero mess behind!Justin was able to thoroughly explain the functions of the unit and was very knowledgeable about everything from instillation to maintenance.
Tucker arrived this morning around 9 and spent over two hours unstopping my kitchen sink. He worked so hard and through it all was so kind, patient, never giving up, always gracious and totally professional explaining everything he was doing to resolve the issue.He snaked both drains with his 75’ router all the way to the main sewer line at the street, twice through the main line and once through the other drain line. He didn’t give up while keeping everything clean and picked up after himself. As bad as it was, he totally calmed my concerns and gave me hope so what a blessing he was to this Senior! Tucker had the best attitude ever, is such truly a godly man too. I have the utmost faith and confidence he resolved the problem and gave me a 90 day guarantee plus has someone coming today to look through the lines with a camera to make sure.God bless Tucker and ARS Rescue!
The ARS techs came in at the appointment time, and performed the change of my two 40 gal water heaters in a single afternoon. The job was very professional and they changed out all the electric lines, drainage lines and new steel drip pans. No mess and left all cleaned up. Very good and professional job.
The tech arrived late. My appointment was scheduled between the hours of two and six pm. I believe the tech arrived after seven. He requested two gallons of hot water to flush tha system, which I provided. I also provided him with a ladder to access the attic because I felt the wall mounted ladder wasn’t safe and capable of supporting him trying to carry the two gallons up and into the attic. Also, all throughout the evening, he continued to call me someone else’s name as I corrected him each time he did it.I apologize for holding people and businesses that I enlist the services for to a higher standard. I recently had an excellent experience with ARS/Rescue Rooter of Houston North when I needed emergency plumbing service for a toilet overflow. I have only been in my home for a week and had no idea what the issue could have been. Austin arrived and efficiently resolved the issue by properly cabling out the clog. The service was professional, effective, and completed in half an hour. I highly recommend ARS/Rescue Rooter for plumbing emergencies!
The technician was very professional and polite. He described what could potentially be the issue. After checking out my clean out line he quickly assessed and described the issue. He gave me my options. He conducted the repair, my issue is resolved, and he shared the return visit options should the issue reoccur. I was very pleased.
After several frustrating factors that led to my home spending several days in the Texas heat (September horrible heat), without a working a/c unit, Chad was sent to see if he, along with ARS/Houston could serve my needs. Chad was incredibly professional, knows mega amounts of hvac knowledge and even showed me photos of concerns so I could better understand. Chad was able to inspect, troubleshoot best case-scenario options, create dialog that helped me better understand my a/c needs that would allow for consistent, economical cooling in a room with a “full wall of windows” facing the lake. He explained equipment square footage demands & then provided several options for financing. I researched other a/c companies in the area only to find ARS pricing a few thousand more, but the peace of mind to have the job installed correctly, have surge protectors placed on both units, a halo system installed, an amazing warranty …well it let me know ARS was right for us! The installers did a fantastic job as well!
ARS was able to come out same day when Outside water pipe bursted. The tech worked in the dark late into the evening. The pipe was replaced and water restored that evening. Very professional tech, great job. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

My 4 year old AC unit had a part replaced in it 1 year ago (questionable if it needed the part as it was an annual checkup only.) Now, the same part exploded and stopped my AC from working. Now the company wants $1,708 for further cleaning and other parts. I paid the labor and service only. Unbelievable.

Great on communication and scheduling appointment. The guy was great in fixing the issue, cleaned the area behind him and the whole service within the same day. I’ll give 5 hearts instead of stars if you reduce the prices a bit. Probably 20% higher than market but I certainly will call you back for future services
The estimator Jamil was terrific. He came out the night we had the issue. He gave us three viable options across different cost ranges with different warranties and was extremely professional and gave us a great explanations. We will absolutely call him back first next time we have an issue.
Needed ARS to install 2 Stop-Valve/Angle stops. They charged me 250, honestly it was quick and easy, easy money spent so I could turn back on the water to my house.Dan was amazing! He told me about his 40 years of experience and wr exchanged stories based upon what we have seen and we shared laughs. ARS were able to send someone out Friday afternoon to give me a estimate on water leak from faucet area - He gave me a price and I wanted to get another plumber I use sometimes- He could not make it so I called Vance back and he could not get a crew together, but said he would do himself. And he did Saturday afternoon into evening and got it fixed. My Patio Hime complex is on same meter, so I needed to get done quick and he helped me out of a jam. He came back on Sunday to fill in and help me with a drain problem. He could not fix, but set me up with someone else within a few hours.He was very helpful also
I called ARS for assistance for A clogged Toilet after trying to clear it myself. They scheduled a convenient time to come out. They used state of the art equipment to find the source of my backup which was deep in my pipes, unclogged the jam and did it for a reasonable price. William did a great job. As soon as he saw what I had called in for he knew what needed to be done. And he was also able to fix another problem that I hadn’t mentioned when I scheduled the appointment. He got everything done quickly and working properly. The guys that came out were great, didnt charge me, and they were pretty prompt. But didnt fix my issue of main line clog- wouldve been 5 star had they fixed it with their special, sadly the next option was too much for me. I have no doubt they wouldve fixed it had I went that route.

Not sure if it is this particular location but it is for the company.The actual service in the past was good but pricey. A year ago, I sold my home & I now rent a condo where all repairs are taken care of by the manager. I told that I no longer own a home & no longer need their service when they called the 1st time after their move. Still, I get constant phone calls, my voicemail is full of them, I cannot even use my cell phone the way I want to, my voicemail is full of them! I also went to their website & no where on it is a place to select “do not call”. They do have a spot for you to opt out of selling your information???? Why would I allow you to sell my information? They snuck that in when we were frazzled from the mess at our home. I may decide to buy another home or a condo but at this point I would not use ARS, why would I? They would rather harass me than respect my request to no longer call. Buyer beware, other companies that will help and not harass you. Next stop, the FCC as I’m sure there are others
David Michael Crawford was the technician that came out and fixed my stopped up sink. The appointment was scheduled for 2 hours after I called and it was fixed the same day. He was very nice and even made sure my autistic child was ok with the noise. That means a lot. He gave me all the options and didn’t push me into a higher priced option. Great service.

Yes, I had a four hour window and by the time they got here it was like a 4 1/2 hour later I had unclogged my sink myself, but he did clean a drain for me so other than that, everything worked out fine. Good service

When they were done, Larry came out and patched up the sheetrock and was very nice and did great work. You have gained a customer for life!!!!!

Tucker came out and did the $83 drain special. He cleared the drain but thought something else might be wrong. He called his boss Dameon to use a camera and nothing was found. I was not charged for that. They did a great job. I will definitely use ARS rescue rooter again. Also they actually have real people answering the phone. They were very helpful and polite. It was great doing business with them.

My elderly mother is a long-time customer of American Residential Services (ARS), she has had numerous services performed, including a significant whole-house re-pipe and the installation of sewage and washer drain lines. While past experiences had been mostly satisfactory, our most recent encounter was a stark departure from the usual standard.The technician did not notify us of his arrival and he seemed unprepared. He spent more time trying to sell me unnecessary services than actually addressing the issue and seemed to get annoyed when I declined them.To compound the issue, the technician provided a picture of the problem that was completely unhelpful. The image didnt identify the root cause of the problem. It was clear that the technician was more interested in documenting the visit than actually resolving the issue.Furthermore, the technician informed me that the $99 service fee would not be applied to the cost of the repair, despite the customer service representative confirming that it would. This discrepancy in information was both misleading and frustrating.I was not confident this individual could do the job. We payed the inspection fee and I immediately contacted ARS to schedule another inspection the following day but no one ever showed.Given my history with ARS, this recent experience was particularly disappointing. Its disheartening to see such a decline in service quality, especially from a company that Ive trusted for many years. I hope that ARS will take steps to address these issues and restore its reputation.While past experiences may have been positive, its clear that quality control has slipped in recent times.
After a recent power outage I noticed oil on the floor of my Generac cabinet. I called Ken Dickey and he came out that afternoon. He found the problem was a leaking valve cover gasket. Ken returned the following day with his partner Jordan to replace the gaskets. That is such good service and is why I trust ARS! Ken is the best salesman y’all have. Good service is everything.

Our sink broke a week and a half ago in our kitchen.I called ARS/Rescue Rooter.Janurary 7th 2025 they came and put a new water heater in our home and did another amazing job at an incredible price.Today a Plumber named Johnathan came to our home and put a new kitchen faucet in for us.Johnathan had our faucet in and running better then our last faucet.He was extremely professional explained exactly what he had to do and it didnt even take 45 minutes to do the job.He answered any questions we had and again they gave us a great price as well as cleaned up the old equipment and threw it out for us.If you want the BEST WO4K DONE and at the BEST price dont call any where else then ARS/Rescue Rooter in Conroe.I guarantee 6ou will never go any place else once you see the quality of work they do and the prices they charge.Thank you again Johnathan and ARS/Rescue Rooter.Scott Szabo.

HVAC senior technician Victor arrived to my home on time, did my furnace tune-up and was transparent in what he did up in my attic. He seems to work with honesty and integrity. Kenny, and Geo were fantastic putting in our water heater. They were knowledgeable, experienced, skilled, communicative and hands on putting the system in our house.Tommy, explained the process fantastically and we came aboard since he explained the process concisely and was experienced in giving us our options after seeing our water heater needed replacement after so many years .He was the best,Later on some information that was not on the invoice and I got the two best people to get the right answers and that was Jeanette Bell and Abdiel in helping me deal with the warranty department. Jeanette told me to go up in the attic and get the serial number and model number off the equipment as well which was a huge remedy. With out them it would have been very difficult. Jessica was very helpful earlier on getting me the right people like Jeanette and getting Abdiel in contact with me.
Overall very satisfied with the service and the pricing was a bit high, but not ridiculous. The install was flawless. If I had any negatives, it was the request to sign the sales agreement before getting a copy to review. I was told it would not be sent until after I signed. It worked out, but I disagree with that process.
Do not ever trust this company! Always look for second opinion.The last two times they came, both times their analysis and quotes were completely unprofessional and with the only intention to get a lump of money for services that are not needed.The first time I asked to come for regular seasonal check. The technician came and told me he the usual, that I need and surge protector and that I also need a UV lamp. I agreed on the UV lamp since the price was reasonable. But I guess I got what I paid for. You can see the photos. Hole in the unit. Lamp barely secured with tape, that after a few months was hanging open and letting attic air in the unit.Their next visit ended with a statement that the drip pan needs to be replaced for 1500$ since there is a spot next to it.Going there myself, it turned out that that most likely during the first visit, the technician have damaged the drain pipe connection on the side of the unit. Not only the pan was fine, bit it was clear from the rust on the side of the unit where the water was coming from. Again their statement and $1500 and the actual fix for $150.Unprofessional, lying, and I have no words to express my disappointment.
I called yesterday and I got an appointment for the same day. I was very happy because an actual person picked up the phone. Yet, the technician never showed up; I kept calling and they told me that they will call me when he was in his way here. Then, they rescheduled for today. Nobody showed today either or called me back. I could have somebody else fix the issue but they kept me waiting. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

Jake came diagnosed and pinpointed the issue. Friendly and helpful. He called in Michael who completed the install. The price was less expensive than the competition company who also diagnosed, but technically not, because they didn’t pinpoint the issue. Grateful for their attentiveness to detail and fair pricing.

I booked an appointment for a furnace repair. Tech Dung came out I explained I had switched out my thermostat and the furnace stopped working. He checked it out and told me I fried the motherboard and it would be over $1300 to replace it and told me I may have blown the motor as well and wouldn’t know until we replaced the board, but if so I would probably be better off getting another furnace through them of course!!! I had contacted several companies last night. The second company tech worked on my furnace to diagnose, within 20-30 min replace the fuse on the motherboard and I was back up and running $99 diagnosis, got the membership for $20 so discount on diagnosis with $68 out of my pocket!BEWARE of THIS COMPANY!! Or maybe just this tech, not sure which!! SHAMEFUL!!!
Jamil Thompson arrived at my house promptly and assessed the issue I was experiencing. He provided me with 3 options to remedy my issue. We moved forward cleaning out my drain pipes and fixing the issues I had. Jamil was very knowledgeable, personable and was a great representative of ARS. I will definitely use ARS in the future!

We had a busted pipe that needs repair (but it was a fairly easy one to fix). It was nice that they come over promptly and gave us a free estimate for the job. The problem is: they quoted $1100 for a job another plumber took $175 for (and did an amazing job). Thank god I always get multiple quotes for these kinda things. So yeah, they are gouging you.
Simplified the process of replacing my warranty exchange with Lowe’s and installed the new system to my needs. Provided great information for me to make the decision that best suited me and provided superior installation services. Will definitely use them again!
Jamil was the consummate professional from the moment that he arrived at the house. My daughter answered the door and he was extremely courteous. From that point he put on the protective coverings on his feet and asked if I could lead him to the kitchen and point out the problem. From that point he provided a diagnosis and even cleaned up after the previous plumber. ARS got us fixed up! The technician was very professional, he showed up on time, and accomodated the fact that I was not home. He offered other services but wasnt overly pushy. He explained the warranty and suggested another solution if this one failed within the warranty period. 10/10 will use again.
Outdoor spigot broke off. Walter Ochoa arrived shortly after the window his dispatch promised. Had it fixed in no time. Price was steep but what to expect on a Sunday on a holiday weekend. Highly recommend Walter Ochoa, the company ARS not so much.

The customer service was great.The ARS rep came out to my home and inspected my existing HVAC technology. He then educated me on their services. Once he was done I picked out the HVAC unit that I wanted. A couple hours later the ARS techs were on-site delivering and installed my new air-conditioning unit. They were professional, clean and efficient. Once they finished the install they cleaned up their work area. By then it was already cool in what is normally the hottest part of my home which is upstairs. I am now comfortable in my mancave. No longer sweating. Looking forward to having a Super Bowl party! Get a second opinion!!!! Our AC stopped pumping cool air and they sent out a tech who went into the attic to check the system for 5 minutes and then came down and told my wife we needed to replace the entire system. My wife being flustered from the grave warnings of imminent water damage to the house from the tech/salesmen was encouraged to and ultimately signed up on the spot for a $22,000 loan for their second-tier system they highly recommended. As soon as I became aware, we quickly put the loan on hold and got a second opinion. The second tech from a different company came out and fixed the issue for a few hundred bucks.
We have had a terrible experience with ARS! Work was started over 2 weeks ago. We had been told it could be done in 1-2 days. We paid up front. Now we have been left with a huge trench in our back yard with huge piles of dirt. There is damage to our shed, fence, swing set and lawn. We can’t get anyone to return phone calls.
The gentleman who came was the best one that I’ve ever had visit my home. He was totally professional and did an excellent job. Informed me of everything that he was going to do and gave me complete instruction after he was finished. If youre considering ARS Rescue Rooter for HVAC sales or system service, reconsider. In fact, if you’re faced with the choice between dealing with ARS or jumping off a cliff, the cliff is the better option—faster, cheaper, and far less painful.From the start (July 23), the experience has been a nightmare. A pushy, incompetent sales rep was sent to assess our needs and recommend a system, and it only went downhill from there. The installation was full of issues, and we had endless follow-up service calls, modifications, repairs, and repeat visits by technicians and supervisors.To make matters worse, we had to take massive amounts of time off work to accommodate their visits (which are rarely on time, and sometimes they just don’t show). Dealing with their service call center was a grueling, frustrating time-suck. What should’ve been a simple home upgrade turned into a never-ending headache.After escalating the issue to the highest management levels, the person initially seemed interested in fixing things, but that interest quickly evaporated. We reached out to the manufacturer, Carrier, who recommended ARS work with them to run diagnostics and provide recommendations.Instead of being receptive, ARS was insulted that we went to Carrier for help. After much insistence, they agreed but only pretended to perform a collaborative diagnostic. The director of service finally showed up, performed the test, and then did absolutely nothing with the results. We called, texted, and emailed, but were met with silence. The director has ignored us ever since.The glaring issue with ARS is their focus on sales over service. Their technicians are sent to sales training to push products and service agreements to generate more revenue. There’s nothing wrong with sales, but ARS should’ve focused on hiring competent service techs and training them instead of turning them into salespeople.The turnover rate among their service techs is out of control, and more often than not, when a tech left, our HVAC system was worse off. To top it off, they caused damage to our home—stepped through the ceiling, broke a water pipe (leading to water damage), and tracked mastic all over the carpet. The lack of care was appalling.After a year and a half of dealing with a new, expensive HVAC system that still doesn’t work, we’ve come to realize ARS, despite the 10-year parts and labor warranty, is neither responsive nor competent enough to resolve the issues. Their inaction and failure to fix anything have destroyed any confidence we had in their ability to service our system.Frustrated, we reached out to Carrier again to find reputable local HVAC companies. After some research, we found one and called them for an independent diagnostic. The technician immediately identified the issues we’d been complaining about to ARS—issues ARS had failed to address. This technician was more knowledgeable than anyone from ARS, and in a single $75 visit, made adjustments to our thermostat that resulted in immediate, lasting improvements to the system’s efficiency.His professionalism and technical expertise were a stark contrast to ARS’s pushy sales culture. Afterward, we asked about signing up for a new 10-year parts and labor warranty with this company, even though ARS sold us one. They agreed, provided they could make the necessary adjustments to our system. We paid them $2,000 for repairs, $1,000 for a new labor warranty, and signed up for a semi-annual service agreement—all despite already having the same coverage with ARS. Why? Because ARS is awful, and we never want them in our home again.Bottom line: If you want a company that can actually install and service an HVAC system without turning your life into a nightmare, look elsewhere. ARS Rescue Rooter is a glorified sales operation with no competence when it comes to service. Skip the endless frustration and find a company that knows what they’re doing. We wish we had.

Adonna helped me book a same day appointment and it was a convenient time window, which I appreciate. Dwayne at ARS did a great job. He unclogged my drain and was informative about maintenance and services provided. I received all pricing up front, and was done in a timely manner. There was an issue with the ipad system, so it affected payment options for me. Hopefully, ARS will be able to resolve this, because everything else was fine. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for this issue. I understand these things can happen. The service was nearly seamless. This is my second time using this company. I would use them again and recommend them to a friend.

I shop at Home Depot a lot. So I thought their home services is legit, but Im so wrong. On Sunday Dec 1, I saw their discount service for Heating / AC Tune Up service. Then, I requested a service. Later, their service provider ARS call me and schedule an appointment for Wed 2 pm - 6 pm. I waited for them on Wednesday, but NO ONE SHOW UP. After 6 pm, their service provider call me and give an excuse that their too busy. So I give them another chance and reschedule them on Friday 2 pm - 6 pm. Same thing, THEY DID NOT SHOW UP AS SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT. A company doesnt able to keep their promises. So how could we trust them services? I WILL NOT REQUEST A SERVICE FROM HOME DEPOT AND ARS AGAIN. They are waiting my times and efforts.

Keith came to my home at the appropriate time and fixed the problem with the furnace. Took the time to make sure things were working. Gave me his card so I can call him if there is a problem. I might need a new thermostat. He offered to show me some and will install it if I needed. Very nice and professional.
Service is going downhill. Had a double appointment for HVAC and plumbing. They sent two HVAC guys. It happens. Rescheduled plumbing for Monday morning. They were a no show despite several assurances they were coming. Around 5:30 they call and say they can’t make it. It’s maintenance so ok. On Thursday they are a no show again for an AM appointment. After several calls I get to a dispatcher who was wholly unconcerned. One guy never shows…apparently truck broke down but they never called. Another guy shows up at after 5PM.No regard whatsoever for their customers time. And then they still tried to upsell more worthless stuff.I don’t blame their techs. They are decent enough. It’s their scheduling and dispatching which is destroying any reputation this company had. Unprofessional as hell.Not worth the premium price they think they can still charge.I’ve been a customer for years. I bought my HVAC, and water heater from them. They had to replace the water heater last year because the bottom rotted out after a short period of time. Thankfully within the warranty period. I think it’s time to cancel my memberships.
My toilet hasnt been flushing right for a long time now. I reached out to ARS Rescue Rooter and got a call within minutes. I was able to have someone out within hours of the call and now my toilet finally flushes as it should! Fast, friendly professional service. 👌

The weather changed and I noticed although the heater was blowing, the house was not warming. I called ARS and they told me someone could come out between 12-4. About an hour or so later, they called to tell me, it would be toward the latter part of that window. Then they called when the technician was on the way. Thank you to Imani who took the initial call and to Casey who completed the work. I’ve used ARS in the past and I am always pleased with the service.
I explained the issue to the customer service rep and also to the onsite salesman. After the technicians completed their project I am told that I need to enlist the services of a plumber. If you cannot complete the job do not accept the responsibility. Now I am expected to part with 1.3K for incomplete work. IM NOT SMILING......Additionally the technicians were preparing to leave when I discovered that they left water dripping under my cabinet. What a mess!! Of course a supervisor is unavailable......Today I noticed that the leak that ARS created has not been rectified. Silent from the General Manager adds to my displeasure. Another technician is scheduled to visit my home today but I am not expecting much.My next step would be to forward this unpleasant experience to the state of Texas along with the BBB because I am a federal employed senior and I do not appreciate being taken advantage of.IM NOT SMILING.....
Jamil came in very polite, respectful, knowledgeable & Professional. He took care of the problem quickly and gave us a very fair price. He pointed out some things that may cause problems in the future - our house is older and we are aware of some probable issues and what ARS offers is some preventative measures that will be easier & less expensive in the long run. We believe in the old adage an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure so this is something we will follow up on.Weve been in this house 29 years and this is the 2nd or 3rd time we have called ARS & probably will not be the last.
The service is good and the systems work well. However, the automatic phone system will call you daily. Sometimes 2x a day. Even though you just replaced your entire system, or just had a check up the day before, the automatic phone system calls you daily. I block their number until it is time for my 6 month check up. Maybe this doesn’t matter to some, but the relentless calls annoys me
Appt was scheduled 12-4pm. Someone came at 6:45 pm. Quoted me $470 to replace flush valve in toilet tank. I refused and had it done for about $200 less by Roto Rooter. Never calling them again.
Fraudulent business practices. $3k in “service” and equipment and the AC shut down less than a week later. He had not even done the most basic of maintenance. Drain lines were clogged and needed freon, didn’t actually clean condenser but charged for it. My understanding after speaking with a former employee is the workers are incentivized to sell equipment because that’s where they make the most money and service is not a priority. Called the guy to come back and right his wrong and he went to his truck for a drink and never came back.
So far the new ac system is cooling my house after a month of no ac in texas heat. The inside temp went 4 deg. down in less than an hr.
Jamil came out on a moments notice..9:00 pm and stayed until he found the issue..midnight to be exact..he was extremely polite, careful to not make any mess inside and worked diligently to find the problem. After leaving at midnight he was back at our house at 8:000 am with the crew to assess the issue. He has great customer serviceHighly recommended !!
As always ARS / Rescue Rooter helped us again. Our AC decided to take a nap and impact our Sunday afternoon. We knew who to call ARS, which was on Monday morning. Same day service call was scheduled within a surprising early timeframe. Adan Mendoza was our AC Service Tech, who was extremely professional and experienced. Do not trust them. I got their reference through Home Depot so I thought they would be reputable. I signed up for a yearly service call and there where list of items which Home Depot said they would be but the guy who came in hardly did anything expect opening the electrical panel of the condenser and checking the wires. He did not perform the drain line blow out or condenser cleaning as stated. I called them and they said someone will reach out to me and its been a week with no follow up. I will be reporting this to Home Depot.
I had Isaac Bryant coming out to fix the sewer problem with the toilets in the restaurant. He knew exactly what to do and fixed it in a timely manner. Very patient, knowledgeable and a very helpful guy. Thank You Isaac and ARS.

It was nice that ARS could fix our water main line a day after we called them. When it came time to fill the dirt back in, that’s all the ARS guys did; they did NOT take the old & remaining pvc pipes with them. After texting & calling/leaving a voicemail message for Chris (the estimator/salesman) a couple of times & no reply, I decided to leave this message on this Survey. As home owners, what are we supposed to do with these pvc pipes??
BUYER BEWARE - I had been a satisfied customer for over two years until my experience with a home unit replacement. The assigned specialist, Randy Harris, provided subpar service, which has left me disappointed and frustrated.Since the day of installation, Ive had to call multiple technicians, and their expertise ranged from knowledgeable to seemingly indifferent. Despite my patience and multiple attempts to fix the issue, the airflow in the room has not improved.To add insult to injury, despite having a signed disclose and authorization form with them for the new unit, I was baffled to find that they were unable to locate my information in their system.My frustration lies in the fact that my old unit and ducts from the 80s had better airflow than this newly installed 2023 unit in terms of airflow to that room. At this point, I just want to be done with this. Think twice before hiring them.
Mr. Jackson was nice and had the patience of explaining about the HVAC unit installation and any question I had. He showed me pictures to understand more of what he was explaining of all installations they will do and they did all that.

ARS did not give me owners manual of my water heater. My repeated request to them did not work. Horrible company please stay away from them to save your time. Also Synchrony bank who take care of Lowes credit did not do anything when I dispute the charge,

The first person I talked to said to unplug a slow running 1 1/2 sink drain line they would honor their advertisement of $83 for unplugging a main drain line. After scheduling the plumber the next person that confirmed the appointment said the plumber would give me a price but definitely the $83 was for a main drain line. I asked for an estimated price. They said they would not give an estimate even though I gave them all the details on line size and distance. I have this line snaked every year because an AC condensate line ties in before the sink p-trap. The plumber arrived and gave me a price over $350. I thanked him and he left. No service charge. A range estimate should be given before the appointment is made to save everyones time and to eliminate bad reviews from wasting a potential customers time.

Our clogged drain was cleared same day attentively and carefully by Eddie. Returned next day with Drain Specialist Damien to use camera on drain line. Work was performed in a friendly, competent manner.
I spent days without an a/c in this terrible September heat… I was told we needed to replace the compressor and it would cost us $2,000 … not too happy about it but it needed to be repaired. ARS tech’s Julio and Min came to do the job and they were so honest and amazing! I was told by their manager Miguel Alvarez the compressor was not faulty and only a wire was disconnected! Instead of charging me 2k I will get a full refund and my a/c is working again. I’m very happy with ARS service and the honesty of their techs. ARS has my business for life.
The technician Casimino T. Vasquez (aka) Cass was extremely informative, professional and superior in his due diligence to address the issues that my residence was experiencing. His intuitiveness to diagnosis the problem was spot on the money. He discussed in depth and detail as to the procedures that he was going to apply in order for me to achieve the desired results.His efforts only took 5 minutes to achieve the result of clearing the water line. Honorable & dedicated people often do their jobs very well and are not given any recognition by their profit driven employers.I want ARS to know Cass is a real asset to your company & not just another number.In addition to Cass performing his job at the highest level, he informed me that another ARS employee by the name of Chris Breazell was enroute to give me a camera view via the pipes that had been cleared.Chris too was extremely professional in explaining to me the degrading pipes that caused the issues. Came out through home depot - quoted just short of $3K plus tax for replacing an electric water heater - tried to sell me a re-pipe job for an addition $12K - called another company - came out quoted $1,600.00 still high, settled at $1,200.00. Great money for them if they can get it - way overpriced and upsell - not reputable

Employee analyzed our problem. which will result in our replacing a dishwasher. However he also followed ARS policy and tried to point out other areas where something could be done. This attempt to do more and thus sell more than required has become an ARS negative.

I received a coupon in the mail for Main Drain Line Cleaning for $83. The technician advised I should pay $480 for a “scout jet cleaning” instead. I am giving three stars because the technician honored the coupon but a “bait and switch” on new customers is alarming. I would have given more stars for better service.
They were supposed to show up to my house Sunday between 6 and 9 PM. They canceled the appointment on me and decided to come Monday between 8 and 12 noon. They called at 9:15 and said would be there in 45 minutes. They showed up an hour later with a non -plumber. Now I have to continue to wait even longer for a plumber to show up and fix my water heater.

Johnathan went the extra mile to resolve my problem. He couldn’t fix it because apparently I have a broken drain line somewhere underground. ARS is coming back to do more research using a camera in the drain line. Johnathan’s conduct and efforts were 100% legit. I would recommend calling ARS. They came in the time frame promised and didn’t charge me as promised if they couldn’t fix my problem.
Do not use these guys, ever. Called for emergency 24 hr service but they dont work after 8pm. Set up an appointment for 6pm the next day. Got a text at 5:38 that the tech is on his way. He shows up 5:40, rings doorbell, then leaves note that he missed us. Wife shows up at 5:51. I called immediately and they explained once appt is missed, theyll have to reschedule. Thats some shady business practice and I will never use them again. 24 hr emergency service only means someone will answer your call, not come out same day.

Wednesday 10/30, I called them because my water heater was leaking which they installed back in March. To make a long story short the very late technician didn’t find any leak in their installation & told me it may be the tank.. he wanted to uninstall it and reinstall it to find the leak for $1570- but he’d do it for a flat $1000. I declined opting to call Rheem instead…but later that night I heard dripping & noticed the ceiling was damp above the water heater & the vent connected to the water heater was leaking.. I called them back- 24/7 ?? Not for a technician! They sent a guy today.. he told me it was likely a pipe, couldn’t quote me on how much it would cost but did tell me to cut he had to the sheetrock & it would be $89…and suggested I call my home warranty. I decided I’d call them. However, I changed my mind after speaking with them as they started in on cutting and removing thing that were not covered to gain access. Anyways, I call ARS back to go ahead & fix the issues. I spoke to Larry at the North branch, at 3:47 PM for someone to arrive by 6PM TODAY. Cool, I called into work today to get this mess done. I had to call back several times because closer it got I didn’t receive a call. Finally I was transferred to dispatch & able to speak to them myself & found out all the times I called they told me they would check with dispatch they lied to me! Dispatch told me the appointment was scheduled but NO ONE was EVER assigned & all the technicians were gone for the day!!! WTF!! I was even told before speaking to him at 6:15 PM that the technician was running behind on a project & he has until 10 PM! AFTER speaking to dispatch I called trying to speak to Larry as he told me if I ran into problems to ask for him just to be told he was not available… 3 times when I called the person NEVER said a word to me but had the tv on real loud & was cussing & arguing with her boyfriend! I recorded it too . I feel like they treated me like this because they were getting pissed at my constant calls & having to send someone out again x3. I wasn’t trying to be difficult, however, in just 6 months I’ve spent over $20,000 of my own money on repairs that had a “limited warranty” or something else needed to be as it was not “up to code” or “ not covered” bill.. I’m tired & frustrated. even though The dispatch guy rescheduled me himself for this Saturday.. hmph! let’s see!!! I called a different out of state number they have see if they would transfer me to Larry as I had ‘questions ‘ for him, but even at this number I was sent back to the person arguing with her boyfriend! Finally when I someone answered me & a voiced my concern she said, “ It must be a work from home person you were transferred to!” Oddly enough I didn’t give her or the last person my name but they called me by it. So they have ID! Were they just antagonizing me the many other times I called knowing full well it was me!VERY Very Unprofessional! Wasting my ENTIRE day!!
Based on my last year experience, I continued with ARS for HVAC tuning. It was utter disappointing experience this time. The technician didnt even properly looked or worked for tuning the system. Instead he was just chatting about mold, duct cleaning and price for that. Not sure what he did while I was bit away, but within 24 hours our AC stopped working. Apparently there was evap coil leakage. Why didnt he told me that? He was completely unprofessional and not interested in working. I WONT BE USING ARS ANYMORE.
They were great! Professional and on time, and very thorough. Plus, they gave a total price up front (which was a little more than some others) and guaranteed there wouldnt be any additional costs. In the past, Ive had work done by others where halfway through, surprise surprise, suddenly there was new costs.Will definitely keep them saved for any additional work in the future!Update: had two have both AC units replaced (one had failed) and the guys came same day, and stayed until 1130 at night to finish the job!Unfortunately, a few days later one stopped working but they sent out a supervisor (Al, he was excellent) the next day. Turned out my old thermostat went bad so he grabbed one off the truck (removed from other job) and installed at no charge.Im upgrading to the nest system soon, so this was a very nice act to get me by until I get the new gear.Very happy with the new system.Kicking myself for waiting so long to replace.
Ive used ARS many times over the years. This time my rowdy-rough-housing Grandboys literally shattered an upstairs toilet. Big mess upstairs, Big leak downstairs. 🙄 Ted showed up the same day to, evaluate water damage & order a new Kholer unit. Picked up, installed it and removed the damaged unit by 11am the next morning. My experience with ARS & all thier technicians has always been excellent, no matter the crazy problems Ive called them in on throughout the years. Highly recommend!! ❤️
I contacted ARS and they quickly dispatched a technician to my home. Jamil arrived during the scheduled appointment time. He was professional, thorough and also explained the process and answered all of my questions. I am extremely pleased with the level of service that I received. I would highly recommend Jamil and ARS.

I will never use or recommend ARS for any services. Service tech came out to service issue and did nothing. From the start the tech made multiple excuses to why he was unable to complete his job. I asked to speak to his supervisor and when I spoke to the supervisor he (Matt Hintz) was rude. Supervisor would not listen to customer and even told customer “If you want to argue, I will argue with you”. This is very unprofessional and unexceptionable. When I asked for corporate number I was told by the supervisor (Matt Hintz) he was unable to provide.
ARS electric techs did an outstanding job. They communicated the specs of the job and very professional in doing the job. Edgar was patient in explaining the steps in getting the work done promptly and he delivered. Also he handed off the final phase of the job to D Prado and his team. I have always called on ARS and again I was not disappointed. I was very impressed that they both said if there is anything else I need please call .
Jamil Thompson showed up on time and dis a thorough inspection of the issues. Gave us multiple options on how to proceed. Scheduled us asap for moving forward on the work we wanted done to fix problem. Very polite and respecting of time.
Go see the Yelp reviews, much more accurate....Updated: Jamil was awesome, until he wasnt. Seemed very friendly, knowledgeable and honest about his assessment. He then sold me on pipe replacement, told me the job would be done in 2 days and if I needed anything to call him. Well day 3 I need to talk to him, I called sent text messages no response. Called and left a message with ARS to have someone call me that noone will be in my yard until I speak with a plumber, the job doesnt look right, my pipe was already replaced and they put the cleanout trap right in the way. No one is calling back. Had to throw a fot to get a supervisor out. Avoid ARS, their plumbers work off commision and will do what they need to sell
Thank you Della, Juan and Felix. you three are amazing people who clearly take pride in your work and ensuring the customer is happy every step of the way. After getting off on a rocky start with ARS and quite frankly pissed off at a certain employee not returning my calls, I was transferred to Della. She immediately reassured me that everything would be fine and that every question and need would be addressed. Let me tell you, she kept her word and then some. She sent the best team to our 100 year old house to install central heating and air. Juan and Felix were fantastic and meticulous in every aspect of their work. They ensured that any issues I had were answered. Della followed up by giving us her cell just in case I had future concerns or needed assistance. After a few months of finishing up the interior in the house and getting it ready to finish the AC/Heat install, they did not forget about us. We texted Della and she had the crew out there within days. After a couple of hours, we had AC. There is so much more about this story but I will leave you with this, do not get discouraged. I want to give a big shout out to ARS for getting g out to my house for a same day service appointmen to help solve my water heater issue. Jake came out and explained our options in depth so we could make a decision on what we wanted to do. Ultimately the water heater went out and they were able to get us up and running with a new tank less system in 1 day. Really appreciate it team.

First I need to say we had ARS install a new HVAC system 15 years ago and it was a 5 star experience.If I could I would give 5 starts to the techs who have been out since the installation of our new HVAC system approx a month ago.As far as the installation no options were provided other than SEER. No choice in maker or model. No one mentioned the up to $7200 off a new HVAC system coupon on the website. We ended up spending $15,000 on a system for a 1050 sq foot condo. They replaced our thermostat for an inferior one, without again giving options or any warning. I called the day after installation and was told that was a tax credit, but that term was not used anywhere in the online coupon (even the small print), and the coupon never stated what qualifying systems were. When I asked for an itemized receipt, they provided nothing more than new Carrier hvac and the price... not listing the make, model, SEER, labor vs system, etc. For heavens sake, if you ask a hospital for an itemized receipt after a procedure they will give you everything. Ultimately the manager allowed a 5% credit, but never acknowledged the coupon nor did they provide a more detailed itemization of the installation.One star for lack of transparency and overall poor communication regarding the installation. I cant help but feel we were railroaded when we were in a tough situation when our system needed to be replaced, unplanned. I have colleagues who have gotten a Carrier HVAC system for a 5000 sq ft house with all the bells an whistles, and it cost her $15000... surprise it wasnt installed by ARS.Another star for the simple fact we have a running HVAC system.Lessons learned:1) Suck it up in the TX heat and get a second opinion - dont fall for their high pressure tactics2) I wont trust ARS again.
Warning: DO NOT allow ARS to do any concrete work at your home. While the plumbing repair they made was successful and I’ve had no problems with it, it came at the cost of their subcontractors completely ruining my driveway. Not only did they make zero effort to make their work look half decent compared to the rest of my driveway, they managed to splatter concrete all over my garage door. It didn’t come off with a power wash, so now I have to get my garage door sanded and repainted. Ridiculously shoddy work by their concrete subcontractors.
The technician was informative, quick and very affordable! We are impressed with the service we received and will definitely look to them for any future issues.

About a month ago I told them I needed to transfer my service to my new address. They said Accounting would reach out. They never did. So I called again and was told the same. No one reached out. Then I finally let them know I was frustrated and someone was able to call me that day. They got my service transferred and I scheduled a tune up for 8/10 from 10 AM to 2 PM. I cancelled all of my Saturday plans to sit around waiting. I was later told they couldn’t make it to my house so i rescheduled for 8/12 from 6-9 PM. No one showed up so i called and they said in their system it was supposed to be 10-2 on 8/13. I know I did not schedule that time so I rescheduled to 8/13 from 2-6. I made plans to come home from work early and didn’t get a call until about 4:30 and they said i’m still on the schedule. The technician didn’t make it to my house until 7. The only reason I am keeping my service is because in the past they have been more reliable. That combined with the fact that I was already charged. The customer experience has seemed to decline rapidly. I do think a 4 hour window is absolutely ridiculous because i have to rearrange half of my day in the possibility that they actually show up within that time.
This company is horrible. I wasted a whole day waiting for them just for customer service to tell me I never had an appointment. Finally they came around 9:25pm after calling and calling. The customer service agent Meesha Id #070957 was extremely condescending. Its crazy how people will try you over the phone. Anyway, Dave or David was pretty pleasant and personable. He came in and fixed the issue in 5 minutes, I tried to fix the issue for 5 hrs and couldnt fix it, I guess thats why hes a plumber and Im not. Im disappointed in the company, I had an appointment confirmation, my grandma pays a $18 membership every month and they are extremely disrespectful and argumentative. I still had to pay after a long wait and rude customer service but on the bright side the toilet is fixed. Ill give them 3 starts for the plumber, I appreciate him.
Steven Jinkins of ARS Rescue Rooter did an awesome job taking care of our AC repair. He diagnosed the issue and took care of it as soon as possible. Very courteous and knowledgeable, you can tell hes been doing this a long time. He even made sure to keep in contact after the job to help us get reimbursed for the repair by our home warranty company. Really appreciate all of his efforts from beginning to end. ARS as a company was quite professional in our first experience with them. Will use again if necessary.

I called Ars because we had a clogged drain in a sink that connected to the AC drain. I had tried fixing the clog myself, but it became clear that it would require a snake through the pipe in the wall to resolve the issue. Ars sent someone out within two hours. David was great! He quickly identified the problem and was able to resolve it. He gave helpful advice for the next time this situation happens. I will definitely use David again when something happens.
Tucker was my technician, and he was very friendly, respectful and thorough. He gave great attention to the issue and tested other theories of the issue to make sure he had the correct fix. He cleaned up after the job and was easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Very unhappy with the lady that cancelled my appointment TWICE because she misunderstood the system. But while it wasn’t the best news, very pleased with the service that Dwayne provided. He attempted many times to clear the blockage.
