I highly recommend Efficient air Houston for your AC needs.On installation day the installers showed up on time as promised and were very meticulous in their work. I dont usually write reviews, but this is an experience that needs to be shared. Our old a/c unit was on its last leg and needed to be replaced. I made appointments with many a/c companies for quotes. Luke came in and was able to help us get a new a/c unit and qualified for a loan. He is a miracle worker. Before he left he stated that the installer would arrive between 8am-10am. Not going to lie my wife and I were a little worried that we were getting scammed. Usually when things are to good to be true they are. We woke up and at around 9am, a yellow box truck pulled up to our house. Camilo and Steven came out and said they were from Efficient Air. They came in put down their drop cloth and started to work. Efficient was exactly what they were. They had everything installed and we had ice cold air coming out of our vent in about 2 hours. They then added the 2 extra vents in our bathrooms. They left the house cleaner than when they came. I would recommend Luke and his team to anyone out there. In this day and age it is hard to trust anyone but trust me Luke is head and shoulders above the rest. Thank you Luke. Keep helping and changing lives one family at a time.

The install team arrived on time! Install was completed within the quoted timeframe! Everything was installed and tested prior to the team leaving. The AC is blasting cold air! Such a huge difference between the very old unit and the new Carrier unit. Looking forward to see the difference in electricity costs each month.Advice: I should have switched out the unit years ago versus paying the home warranty each year after buying the home 7 years ago, hoping the AC/HVAC would have a total failure and they pay for a new unit. They will never give in to a total replacement and will continue to cannibalize parts from other models to make the unit survive another day. Each year for the last 7 years, my 20 year old unit was been Frankensteind together to continue working.It was time to do the math.Warranty $$ + Service call fee $ each service call + high monthly electricity due to inefficient AC/HVAC. Bottom line, why waste money trying to prolong something broken, it was time to move on.Do some research and find options. If you get an awesome deal plus good warranty, take it.No regrets. I know Sammy the owner of this company thru my brother and I was looking to replace my AC system. Sammy came to my house and assessed my AC needs and inspected my duct system. He gave me multiple options based on my needs, situation and budget. He was very honest and straight forward unlike other AC companies. I trusted him and gave him the job. Sammy has excellent professional experience installers who did the job beyond excellent. I am extremely happy with the new AC system and my house feels way much better than I have ever had. He walked me through everything his installers did and gave a full tutorial on the new system. He followed up with me multiple times after installation to get my feed back and to make sure everything thing is up to my satisfaction. He emailed my the registration and written labor and parts warranty and was super clear about everything. ReviewI am not usually one to write reviews, but I felt a very strong need to after our experience with this company in particular and the terrible ethics I saw attempting to work with them. Sorry if its long, but a lot happened to lead to me posting this.We had to fight tooth and nail to get our warranty company to cover our broken AC (it’s a 3 year old system, brand new with the house we bought new). During this process we had 3 technicians from 3 separate companies come look, and Efficient were the last people called out making 4 total. It was obvious out of all the technicians that came he did not care at all.He did not show up to the first appointment, when I called the office to find out where he was they told me the appointment wasn’t until the next day. When I went back to check the appointment I noticed I was correct and the guy didn’t show up. I called back and told them that the appointment was for that day, they then admitted the technician just didn’t get to me. I felt like that was completely unprofessional to try and lie about the original appointment date. He came around 10 AM the next day. When I asked him and someone from the office how to make the process go faster they both said that if I were to pay out of pocket they could get the parts and get it fixed in a day or two, but going through the warranty company they would have to wait for parts from them. (I informed everyone I had already been without AC for 2 weeks due to the warranty company and needed it fixed as soon as possible, sleeping in 85 degrees and up to 92% humidity in my house.)The day after the appointment in the afternoon I called my warranty company and they still had not received anything from Efficient AC. I had to call them to get them to start the process with the warranty company and send them the information they needed. After a couple of days we still hadn’t heard anything, come to find out Efficient was supposed to be getting the parts to fix our AC but didn’t talk to our warranty company so they were “waiting” to get the parts from them. (Wasted about 4-5 days because they didn’t communicate.) When I called Efficient they said now it would take 5-7 business days to get parts. I thought this was very suspicious or maybe even manipulative considering 2 people I talked to prior said that if I were to pay out of pocket it could be fixed in 1-2 days.The only helpful person was Kevin who actually talked to our warranty company, talked to us, found the parts and helped schedule an appointment for someone to finally come fix our AC. (At this point we are coming up on 3 weeks no AC.) Sadly, it doesn’t end here. The appointment is scheduled for 1-5, I call earlier in the day to confirm the appointment, I’m told everything is good. I wait until 4:30 and call to ask where the technician is, I’m told they’re running late but will be there (I even double check with her to make sure they are coming that night.) Nobody shows up. I call, get put on hold for over 40 minutes two times before being told to leave a message and nobody answers. This is the second appointment they missed. They came the next morning and got it running again, only to find out 2 of the larger priced items they made us pay for out of pocket were not done because they were not needed (we tried to tell them when we originally got the invoice those things wouldn’t be needed but they made us pay for them anyways).Now we have yet to receive a refund, they even tried to tell us they’ll hold on to part we payed for and didn’t need until we do need it just to try to avoid refunding us. (Again, a 3 year old system. Should be years and years before we need that part)My entire experience with this company I felt like I was being lied to, taken advantage of, and completely disregarded. I would not suggest them to anyone.

Hello,I am writing on behalf of myself and Morris Smith. Once again, Efficient Air Texas came to our rescue. The AC coils were freezing, and we did not know what was going on. Morris reached out to Sam on Sunday morning. Sam had the guys that installed the unit to come out the same day. The amazing part was while we were sleeping, the guys arrived. They attempted to wake us by ringing the doorbell and calling Morris’ phone. Although he did not answer either one, the team went ahead and entered the back yard where the unit was to analyze it. When we woke up, we saw they had been calling. Morris immediately called them back. They notified him that nothing was wrong with the unit, and it was not frozen anymore. The information given was a relief and we were pleased with the prompt response and service. Hats off to a team of professional, prompt staff that go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Indeed, we are very satisfied with Efficient Air Texas.
When I met with the salesperson, he never made it clear that the air conditioning company was based in Houston, while I live in San Antonio, Texas. I replaced my unit for $7,500, and I’ve been having issues since the day it was installed on January 11. I woke up at 6 in the morning feeling freezing because my heater was not functioning properly. The company never clarified that they did not have a service location in San Antonio. If I had known this, I would have never hired an out-of-town company.When I asked the salesperson if they had a location in San Antonio, he said yes. I am very frustrated with this situation. This is the second time I have had issues with this unit, and I regret my decision every day. Now, every time there is a problem, I have to wait days for them to come and check my unit.
My AC system was giving me all kinds of problems. I knew i had to replace the whole thing for peace of mind. I started making some phone calls. One company asked $300 just to come by and give me a call. Another company sales rep came by for free and I ended up with a$23,000 SHOCKING quote.Then I wanted to call Efficient Air. I have been seeing their adds in Youtube as well as Facebook.I called and talked a sales person, Mr. Luke. He gave me a 1/3 of the quote that i received from this other AC company. I was shocked again!!! I really had hard time believing. I really thought i was being scammed. But i decided to proceed with the offer. The following day (Today 02/04/2025) four young gents showed up lead by Mr. Rolando on time at 8AM as scheduled. At 12PM, Exactly in 4 hours these guys removed my old system, installed the new system.I ordered pizza for them after their hard work, gave them well deserved tips.Honestly l was really being scammed with the total cost and timely service... I cautiously waited for a GOTHCA or A CATCH!!! But No! The whole process went unbelievably smooth. Mr. Luke, the salesman was very informative, upfront and honest. The technician/installers were ordinary guys with smiley faces, very kind, respectful, and knew what they were doing.I really consider my family and I very lucky dealing with this whole AC system replacement by Efficient Air Company.Thank you Luke for your honesty. Had a great experience with my technician, Sandy. After checking my HVAC system, he explained that while its in good condition, theres some mold and mildew in the air ducts due to the systems age. Sandy showed me pictures and gave helpful suggestions on how to handle the issue. He even helped catch my runaway cat while we were chatting. Highly recommend!

Zero Stars would be the best option here. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They ARE NOT BBB CERTIFIED, and for good reason! Poor communication with my home warranty company, customer service was often confused and couldn’t give me timely answers. When someone finally answered the phone that would help after days and weeks of telling me parts were not available….THEY WERE FOUND. Final service appointment was rescheduled last minute and LATE. If the owner reads this I hope they make changes!

They did not install my ac system to code , endangering my family, they did not install new ductwork which I paid for this is fraud! And I have been trying for 6 months to get them to resolve this with me but they are ignoring me. Time for a lawsuit! Do not hire these people they are crooks!

So I seen them on Facebook, my A/C had been giving me troubles for a while now. It was an old unit dated 1996 so it was time. They offered great financing. So I called. They came out the next day to do a bid. They sold me what I needed & then they said they would do it the next day. They started the job late. Got the new inside & outside unit installed. Wired my condensation pump wrong. It caught fire. Said they would come install a new one & drop a new vent in my laundry room as promised. Neither have been done. I bought & installed a new pump. Ill put the duct & vent in next. The pics are of the insulation wrap job they did & the ducting that was supposed to be installed about a month ago. I kinda expected better for 10,500**UPDATE** I have repeatedly tried getting a hold of this company, so they can come finish the work ( they have not ) The company just continues to put me on hold & never respond. They made an appointment to come look at the unit & didnt show up. And even worse... I just found out that the unit NEVER had a Air filter installed ! So now the evaporator is completely stopped up. And they will not return my calls or make any attempt to fix their mistakes. So yeah.... It just keeps getting worse 😕

This has been my experience with Efficient Air Houston/ Efficient Air INC whatever their current name they are going by at this time. I hired this company to install a new HVAC System in my home. The work was sloppy. They damaged my closet, left screws to the new unit all over my driveway (Red Flag) the duct pipe hole was cut to where there is jagged pieces of metal sticking up all around the fitting, black splotches of that tar like substance on my wall and ceiling. There’s exposed wires and the gas line is just shoved into the wall… They even scratched my floor.. I’ll never mind the fact they left their trash or cigarette butt in my backyard. The worst part about this is NO ONE has returned my emails, phone calls or text messages- I’m worried if we will even pass code or worse what are we going to do if the system fails? I was promised quality service, I was promised long lasting warranties on parts and Labor, I was promised a long lasting business relationship but at this point, I can’t even get a phone call back.

I purchased a condenser from this company May 2020 and have consistently had issues ever since. Initially, my 24 voltage cable was hanging outside of my house. Then, it took days for it to be fixed properly.Next, the unit wasn’t cooling during Houston’s Summer (2021). I called and was informed no one could come for at least a week… the same day I had Jury Duty. Eventually someone came. It worked for a little while, so I called back because now I needed heat. The unit would not turn on, so my house was freezing. Then, I was told that they weren’t accepting appointments until November. They finally came out to check it out and to satisfy the warranty only for it to not work again last week.I called yesterday for an appointment and was told that my window would be 11:00AM- 4:00 PM for today. I had a relative go to my house so that the repair could be done. However, when I called a 3:15PM, I was told that my window was 3:00PM-8:00PM. I lost it.I’ve emailed and asked for a manager each time only to be told there wasn’t anyone else to talk to. As I write, it’s 8:19PM and of course no one showed up. I’ve called the company, but no one answers.I really regret ever purchasing anything from this company. They are the WORST. My house is still cold and they are not responsive.Each time I have to reach out for help my experience gets worse.I’ve read some of these reviews that are good and I’m thinking it’s the workers writing them based on all of my experiences with them. I don’t recommend anyone use this company unless you want to be mad.
DO NOT THROW YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AWAY WITH THIS COMPANY!!BUYER BEWARE!!!We spent over $8k on a brand new system with a 10yr warranty.The only thing the sales tech mentioned was that we needed to be sure to stay on top of our preventative maintenance plan or our warranty would be voided.We made sure we signed up for it to get our new system maintained by them and immediately signed up with them and scheduled our first service call 6 mos from then.First service call comes around and they show up on time as scheduled. System was A/OK no issues what so ever. 👍Next one was scheduled six months after that date. We called and confirmed the appointment the day before and everything was going according to plan up until that point. Next day, no one shows up and we call in at 5. The appointment was set by them between 1-6p. They said we don’t know what happened or why no one showed up but we’re sorry and they re schedule for a week after then.Guess what? …again no one shows up. 🤔We call in and they say to us that they don’t know what happened but the next time they do show up there’s going to be a $195 service call fee. I say ok that’s fine just make sure y’all actually get here and service my system.Two weeks later our system stops working and is only blowing hot air. Keep in mind it’s less than two years old and only serviced once. We callIn-efficient Air Co and they tell us our warranty is now void and any parts and labor will have to be paid for by us and there will be a $200 deposit collected the day before the even show up to look at their system.Flabbergasted I tell the tech on the phone that we got on their maintenance program and had appointments scheduled but no one showed up twice. He tells me “yes I see that in our records” but I don’t know what to tell you or why no one showed up.Proceeds to tell me that our warranty is now void and they’re not gonna cover anything unless we pay for it.He also proceeded to tell me that it was STILL OUR RESPONSIBILITY to hire someone to do the preventative maintenance to show records that we kept up with the maintenance so the warranty would not be cancelled. I told him we hired you and we trusted you to do right by us. He says there’s nothing he can do and that any expenses are to be paid by us.If this is the type of business you want to throw your money away on, go right ahead but you have been warned. Efficient Air is a misleading, dishonest, disloyal company who will leave you stranded and hung out to dry after you give them your money.Just read all their terrible reviews online which is what I should have done in the first place. Hopefully I can save you the same headache we are going through.

Look at the ridiculous and pathetically inconsiderate and aggressive company responses to other customer reviews and you will have your proof! My husband called yesterday and had the same exact experience everyone else has had in the prior reviews. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional! Unit installed in July 2023… blowing hot air! Receptionist said for them to come out it will be $195 + tax ‘Our techs have to get paid. They can come Saturday( 3 days out) but to be honest it might be Sunday’ I have never dealt with a business so unprofessional. This is a lot of money to spend and unfortunately our unit went out last summer and we did not have time do much research on companies as it was HOT! If you have time and are researching companies based on reviews DO NOT use Efficient Air. The horrible customer service alone after purchasing a 9k unit and needing assistance is enough to make you stay away!

Had a leak and got called scheduled quick and Conner sealed the deal with professionalism, arriving on time, good attitude, good manners, etc. He was able to identify the problem quickly which was a draining pipe issue. This company is absolute trash. I will contact a lawyer to see if anything can be done. They have zero customer service and obviously have no clue what they’re doing. My AC has been leaking since it was first put in. I have called over and over and over and they have sent at least five different technicians to my home which none of them were able to resolve the problem. It got to the point where they stopped returning my calls which clearly shows they had no intention of resolving the problem. Once they get funded and they’re paid it’s over. The install team that obviously doesn’t know how to put the unit in correctly as there was a pipe hanging open over the floor in my attic with water pouring out of it. The drain pan is not level and the water pools at one end of the pan & instead of flowing out of the secondary drain it pours onto my ceiling. I was told to email photos which I did numerous times and nothing was ever addressed.stay away from Efficient air. They are garbage. I’m going to reach out to a legitimate AC company and pay more money to do the job that Efficient air could not. Efficient air owner/manager I would love for you to respond to my review and I would love even more if you would call me and send someone over to do the job that you should’ve done when you got paid all the money for my AC. I’ll be sure to do a follow up post after the other company does your job and diagnosis whatever it was that you’re install team did incorrectly and what your 5 technicians were unable to figure out. Having a broken AC is tough, especially in the Texas heat! Ronnie is very reliable and goes the extra mile to get you through it.
Purchased a full system from them in 2020, and was sold based on the fact that they offer a 10-year parts and labor warranty, based on having the twice-annual maintenance performed, which was also indicated to be included as part of the purchase.However, I was told a year later, when scheduling my maintenance, that only the first year is included, and that I must now pay $295, twice a year, to maintain the warranty. I felt trapped, but wanted the warranty, so I submitted the payments.Fast forward to Summer 2024. I now have an issue with the unit requiring service. I placed a call to schedule service and I was informed that there is a $195 service fee! The warranty comes at a hidden cost of $600 a year, plus they will still charge you $200 for any visit that they have to make.This company is full-on scammy and unethical. Beware that the costs you are told up-front DO NOT REPRESENT the actual on-going costs, and that the sales person will 100% lie to you to close the sale.

Horrible company to deal with. I bought 2 new Rheem units, had them installed, paid for additional surge protectors, paid for service contracts on both units. I call about the blower motor not working on one of the units and they sent a service guy who said a lizard must have fried the board, which in turn burned up the motor - with no proof. They would not honor the manufacturer warranty and wanted to charge me $3500 for a new board and motor. I priced them both and together they were only $900. Complete scam. I would not recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware. The general manager George is very rude and unprofessional tries to rip people off - not sure how this guy still has a job. Another Rheem dealer came out and fixed the unit under the manufacturer warranty.

I’ll be back with more of there ill doings. That filter on the bottom is supposed to be under the AC unit not the bottom of the vent. Poor installation.

We had an ac installed from mid county air conditioning and heating a year and a half ago and right after Christmas it went out and the company refused to give us any type of help and mind you we had been trying to get in contact with them for months to get them to fix the issues we had been having with it for over 7-8 months before our warranty went out. We called efficient air they were nice they were courteous sent someone out to my house that day Bryon come out and was super nice and very helpful and answered all the questions we had! The people they had come out to install were very nice and made sure everything was working properly and correctly before leaving they were kind and respectful. I will continue to use efficient for all my ac and heating!

Abraham was kind and informative. He got me to write this review prior to getting our quote. After checking our credit he asked us if we had a co signer or if we had collateral to put up. He took our information and left. He has our personal information and Im feeling like its a scam. 0% interest if you pay off in 2 years. Told me my filter was in wrong place. Said black felt was the filter. Sound filter. Not air filter. Told him he should call someone that knew what they were doing. Very disappointing. So we still have no AC. Looks like we will just get some window units to get us through.
Chad Wilson did a fine job of helping us get the right new HVAC system with at a competitive cost and very timely installation. Install crew showed up on time, worked hard to complete all work in one day (and into the evening), including two new complete units and a mini split. Looks like everything was professionally done.

I saw a Facebook ad for a 4k system. While I knew it wouldnt be the same size our house would require, I figured why not get a quote, not anticipating a good deal. Christian came the next day as scheduled and gave us every discount he was able to (Im a teacher and that was one 😃). The price was quoted for a 5 ton 15.2 seer full system with furnace, and I was impressed. I didnt expect that price for a Carrier brand so we jumped on it. Ever and Alex came THAT NIGHT and installed it (took longer than expected but its a pretty big job so not totally unexpected). It worked wonderfully that night. The next day, the condensor stopped running altogether. We called and they said theyd send someone out. Later that day, Ever comes in FROM HOUSTON to Austin to fix it. He found the problem (a minor part) and in no time, we had cold air and great pressure in the system. Overall very satisfied with Efficient Air, Christian, Ever and Alex. Good doing business with you guys!

Do not use.Efficient Air was at my house for HVAC install two days ago. The air remains unbalanced, and they broke my garage door. I attempted to call multiple times and left messages with no response. Chad, the person who brokered the deal claimed to help but he appears to be just the middle man. This morning, I was finally able to get a hold of someone, and she asked me to submit photos. As one can imagine, I am furious.

We purchased two new units in May 2020. Have had maintenance done as advised twice a year. Always told there was a Freon leak but they could not find it. In March 2023 technician said there is a leak in the coil and it is under warranty so it can be replaced. We had to pay $2950 handling charges even though it is a warranty job. That was paid March 22 On March 27 had to pay again because they never submitted my first payment. It is now April 19 and every time I call I am told the part is on back order and they will let me know when it is in. We requested on April 3 that a manager call us—of course no call yet. We get NO INFORMATION on the part that is on order, no response from management so we can discuss this and ask questions. All I ever get to talk to are the people in the call center. My business is in my home and it is too hot to have clients come here. This is totally ridiculous!!

Called the sales guy and he already got paid I assume so he doesn’t need to follow up with me after several calls to him. Called the facility and setup a callback twice they told me someone will call within two days and it’s been 2weeks and nothing yet. The unit is loud and the exhaust vent was rigged after I told them it shouldn’t be like before I signed and was assured new parts were going to be used and installed the right way. But they still used what I had before and I’m sure Inspection will say it’s not to to code and a hazard because they did a shortcut.I called several times and the company that did the loan called in for me and finally got the install manager to call and sets up an appt and then I call to make sure someone is coming and now it’s a miscommunication that it’s setup for another day. Bad bad service. If you live outside of Houston i do not recommend this place. Feel like I’m not taken care of within a timely manner more like I was taken
Owner or supervisor for efficient air,I called last Thursday to have someone come and check my AC and you guys were quick to send someone out. But it was the compressor that needed replacement and the home warranty finally sends you the part needed to fix this. I have confirmation from the home warranty dept and I have called your office 2x this morning and spoke to Brittney, you guys are still waiting on the technician dept to confirm this in order to schedule a service. I still have to pay for this service and trip and its friday! Which means I have one more day for service if the availability is there, otherwise it will be until next week that I can have service. This is RIDICULOUS!!!! I need a manager to call me ASAP.
Horrible experience with this company. Put in service request with my home warranty company on 8/4. After several phone attempts with their front office staff with parts/equipment they just keep passing the buck. Mind you they were very fast to send a sales representative to sell my husband and I a new system and told us that they could install next day. Which we declined. Now they inform me 9/11 they have to send another technician out to rediagnose the issue. No sense of urgency especially with this Texas heat and heat related illnesses.

Do Not use them ever. They will make tall promises when they sell you the AC and then disappear when it comes time to do maintenance and service or repair. They will offer you warranty but will never honor them. I would have given them less than one star if that was an option. Stay Away from themIn response to your reply on Jan 11, 2023:-You cancelled me 3 times at the last minute for the service call and I had to be persistent and then you showed up. On your service call you don’t clean the coils or check the belts etc as my other AC guy for the office does. When I asked the tech about it he said that would be extra!!My Warranty is for 10 years and not 5 years. If you like I will upload the picture of the warranty agreement. So stop lying please!
This company does not stand behind their work at all. The put in a new unit for us which has never heated and cooled evenly. At each maintenance service this was discussed with the tech, but was never written in the notes. Therefore, we will be a charged for someone to come out. I’m very unhappy with the management who would not return my calls to address my concerns. It is a shame to spend the amount of money it costs to replace an AC and not have good service.
It is truly unfortunate that I have to prepare this review. In October 2023, I purchased a Carrier HVAC system from Efficient Air. The installation took about 3 hours; the guys made a little mess, but quickly returned to clean up the debris from the attic and properly tape the ceilings holes. On January 16, 2024, my thermostat became inoperable, and I found myself flipping the furnace circuit breaker to warm the house. I contacted Efficient Air about the matter and a technician did not show up on January 24th, 2024 nor call (text) for the schedule appointment. When I spoke to an Efficient Air representative, I was informed that there is no local team to support San Antonio, TX and techs have to travel from Houston for a maintenance repair (shocked). With that information, I searched for a local HVAC provider to assist, because flipping the breaker was not going to work and could lead to other electrical problems. The hired HVAC provider stated my furnace was not grounded, and there were wires hanging in the back of the furnace, which could have resulted in a fire. I am beyond disappointed.My suggestion to all homeowners: Be careful and choose your HVAC company wisely.

David reviewed my AC unit. Quoted a 3-1/2 ton unit and checked my credit. All went well although I did not purchase. No problems to report. Salesman was courteous.

Was initially told to use them from my home warranty as I couldn’t pick my own company. Efficient Air tech came out did the inspection and ordered the part. I spoke with a lady at Efficient Air and she stated the repair was on schedule because home warranty approved it. I wanted to double check with my home warranty and they stated it was not approved. Had the run around with them so I called Efficient Air back to receive the inspection report and they again started the money was issued and part was order. They schedule the repair because again they were paid by the home warranty. I was very worried as I had different information from both parties. I informed them if they did the repair without the home warranty I would not paying for anything and if home warranty was not going to approve if we could work out some numbers as I need a heating kit regardless. They at the time understand and was willing to work with me because the obvious problem was the heating kit like the technician reported instead of the thermostat home warranty was stating. Again they started home warranty approved it and the repair would be completed. A few days later goes by my heater was still struggling coming on every 5 mins. I called and place another inspection for the technician to make an additional trip out to my house to see what the problem was. I paid for the additional trip out of my pocket since I knew home warranty would not pay for it. This tech started the wrong size of heating hit was ordered and the correct one would need to be ordered. I told them to get pricing for the correct heating it and I would pay for a new heating kit because again warranty was not paying for it. The female on the phone quoted me a price of $600.00 and then tried to up sale me for a price over $1,000.00 for a new heater, maintenance and cleaning. Few months go by, and I understand with inflation and the holidays pricing would change. I called today to get a price and the female on the phone today told me that the heating kit alone was $1,450.00 and when I was initially quote I misheard. The female today didn’t even try to work numbers with me, communicate pricing or anything she was very adamant that she was right and I was wrong. So not only am I stuck with the wrong heating kit they ordered and installed that doesn’t keep up with my heater, they aren’t even working with me to provide me with a correct heating kit. So on colds I do not have a heater. It seems like they were willing to work with me then to do business and now it seems like they could care less. Will not be using this company ever again. I was looking forward to doing business and fixing this mess my home warranty created and I was very confident in the line of work at the beginning.
Abraham and Justin came out to service my ac unit that i got from efficient air almost two years ago. I am pleased with their service and that they worked with me on an issue with my ac unit and that’s the reason I am giving the company 5 stars. If you’re thinking about going with efficient air to replace your ac unit, just be aware with your contract. I did not know that the warranty does not cover clogged drain lines and I had to come out of pocket to pay for the service (and it wasn’t cheap). Like I said, i am only giving them 5 stars because of Abraham and Justin. They helped me out and saved me some money.

A FRAUD. A SCAM. The tech that came to my moms house told her the total would be $8,000 no interest. One month into having the a/c unit, the amount owed was sold to a finance company (service finance company, llc) with an interest rate of 14%. $200 for the first payment and only $40 went to principal. My mom will owe $11,000 with financing. Disgusting, slimy, dishonest work. If anyone reading this who had the same fate can help us with taking up legal matters with them please let me know. Sick!

We had Efficient Air install a new unit on 6/4/2022 and on 8/1/2023 the unit is no longer working. Called for them to send a service tech out and was told they would not have anyone in my area until August 7,2023. I was also informed by Lilly I would have to pay $195.00 for service call out. Not happy at all with Efficient Air Inc.

Where do I start terrible costumer service John Martin sat in my kitchen and sold me a hole new HVAC system with ducts and after a month stoped replying to my text end eventually blocking my number. Had unit installed September 2023 stared having problems a month out had the same tech bon come out 3 different times and could not fix or find the problem. After placing call it was always 3 days out for bon to come out and try to fix the problem. Bon miss diagnosed the problem said something was wrong with unit in the attic waited another 3 days for another tech to find that the problem all along was the the installers forgot to tape and close the extension they maid for the unit it was sucking all the hot air from the attic over working the compressor causing it to cut off and on. After the compressor finally stoped working all together in June of 2023 we where did not have any a/c for the hole month we would call every day asking for update on compressor never gave us a date after two weeks we. Allied carrier asking them if the compressor was on back order they got back to me later that day carrier said they had 38 compressors here local in Houston at hand and why efficient air was making us wait and couldn’t tell us when one was on the way. Later that day after telling them I was going to get a lawyer involved they called me back 30 min later that I had come in and would be out the Friday morning they never showed up first said tech was getting part that morning after they said they had it then later that evening said there where till at the costumer before me they finally show up say they start working on it very unprofessional guy working in sandals they get some snippers and cut the line to release all 14 pounds of Freon into the atmosphere, like if it was nothing very very disappointed with this company what I would love for them to pick up everything they installed give me a refund and I can pick a better company to do business with. I was also charged for a service call 149$ for bons bs service!!! They also cracked my sheet rock on the ceiling that I wasn’t even worried about because of the big problem I had with a/c

Last year on 9/9/2021, we had issues with our A/C and we had a home warranty who uses this company so they were dispatched to assist. Upon review of the system we had at the time, it was necessary that we purchase a new unit which we gladly did. This is where the crazy began. The guy showed up after 9pm that night by himself to install it. He was here until around 3am on a Thursday night. Due to the fact the guy was by himself he dropped the attic unit down our stairs in the garage breaking them. It was loud and we couldnt sleep due to him working in our attic by our bedroom. It took forever for them to come and repair not replace the stairs he broke and when they did, they came and took off the bottom portion and fashioned new steps to the end of our attic stairs which do not align correctly with the other steps. The whole thing should have been replaced but that was not an option. Our steps were fine prior to this but now we have steps that are subpar for attic stairs. They were supposed to add a return in the hallway which they didnt do. They took forever to come out and correct that issue as well. Today we call because the unit is not cooling correctly and we were told they couldnt come out until June 16th. That is SIX days from today which is ridiculous since we are having 100 degree temperatures. It looks to me like if you sold this unit and guaranteed the unit, you could make it a priority to service the unit you installed before six days after we need service. This unit was installed on 9/9/21 which means it is less than a year old and I understand things happen when it comes to mechanical units but this is just crazy to expect a client who purchased a brand new system from you to wait 6 days for service of a unit that was installed 9 months ago. This company needs to honor their work and not make people wait extended periods of time for service of a unit they themselves sold, installed and guaranteed. I would definitely suggest not using this company. This whole event has been a nightmare and now we will have to have another company to come take care of what they installed. Their customer service is deplorable. I regret purchasing from this company and would never refer anyone else to use them in the future.
Bon came out and serviced our AC today. He is super friendly and very professional. He took extra time to explain things for me and give me advice. I hope we get him next time our service is due.
This place is a huge rip-off. They redid my loan through goodleap and have added an additional amount of money to complete ductwork and have not rendered services. They will not answer my questions or let me speak with the installation manager. They will not set an appointment for the ductwork to be installed. I have contacted my loan servicer, and they are now investigating. Will never use these scammers again! Beware everyone, they are not worth all the trouble.
Very happy with the service and price up here in the Dallas area. A#1 Air caused 32K in water damage and left us to suffer after being a customer for a decade. Efficient Air helped us out when our previous contractor left us hanging out to dry.
I had my 2 ac units replaced with this company two weeks ago, since the day of installation, the units have not work, The same night the units stopped working, and we haven’t had a response from the office or the sales person who sold as the units. He’s not answering the phone calls or text messages. I have sent emails and call the company multiple times with no response. the manager has no direct line or email, and there are no executives in the company that I can speak to. We are in limbo for the last 2 1/2 weeks and no help from efficienairhouston.
I absolutely love the way this company works! I needed an estimate to replace my air conditioning system, they had someone come out the same day! Got a good deal & they were able to install the samw day! Very happy with my new trane system! Everyone was very professional and friendly! Definitely recommend :)

I have a leak in my condenser unit in the attic and I called Saturday and spoke to Jennifer and she immediately took care of my need’s. She said technician his name is Josh I think and came way earlier than I expected which works pretty good with my schedule. He diagnose the problem and showed me where the leak was and he told me he will replace the clogged drain pipe. He even told me how to properly do regular maintenance of the filter. Work was completed in1 hour to say the least. I’m in good hands like Allstate with Josh and efficient air. Thanks a lot Josh. You are very honest and very knowledgeable about your business.

This place is trash. Dont waste your time or money. Cant get any customer service for my brand new AC unit that wasnt even installed correctly. Condenser constantly runs even when the house is at temp and literally theres water dripping in my air filter now. House sits at a solid 82-84 degrees constantly for 3 days now. You call and all they say is they will get a service team to call but they never do.

****DO NOT USE. UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL MONEY GRABBERS****Technician showed up as planned, determined evaporator coil is leaking. Within 5 minutes of leaving, his supervisor John showed up at my door and tried to upsell me on a new AC unit (that I did not need) for $14,000. I declined the upsell AND EFFICIENT AIR REFUSED TO PERFORM THE FIX. 5 days later I was scheduled for a fix. They were a NO SHOW WITHOUT CALLING. They told me the technician didnt pick up the coil. Second schedule they WERE A NO SHOW WITHOUT CALLING. Again, technician didnt pick up the coil. The call center WILL NOT PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH ANY MANAGERS OR SUPERVISORS AND WILL LIE TO YOU. WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

The absolute worst company I have EVER did business with in my lifetime, I am in my mid 50s and have dealt with alot of companies. There is absolutely no service after the sale!!! I wasted 2 Saturdays waiting for the service technician to show up.-5 stars if thats possible. Keep in mind I try to schedule a month or so in advance . When Samantha reschedule my appointment for the third time ,She assured me that I would be the first appointment for 04/16/22. Needless to say the technician never showed.
We had a 20 year old undersized AC unit on it last breathes. I searched a few AC companies and called them, but by far Efficient Air Houston had the best customer service when inquiring about potential products and services. Im glad I went with them because they gave me a great deal on a brand new unit and assured the problem we had (undersized unit) with the first one didnt happen again (upgrade from 4 ton to 5 ton unit 😁). Sam knows what hes talking about when it comes to AC, and his team mirrors their leader 👏👏 They were professional and very knowledgeable. They started in the morning and by noon, after they finished, my house was an icy 75°F! Highly recommend Efficient Air Houston!!

Seve did an excellent job with his service, showed up when he said he would. Dealing with the front office was a completely different story. Took 45 mins to talk to someone to confirm my appointment time, was put on hold for another 45 mins to be told my appointment was changed without my knowledge. When calling again - I kept getting connected to “royal air” which was a completely different company. I only used efficient air because my home warranty assigned them to me.
Every since the units were installed in my home, Ive had problems!!!! When I call every associate acts as if they all have no clue of what service I received. They dont know my last scheduled service, and its extremely frustrating. Im currently home now and Im waiting on the technician. I had to call them about an ETA. I was told the technician would be here between 12pm-5pm. I called at 1545 because I had no updates, and I was told the tech was just arriving to a job in Spring texas. Not good for me because I live on the east side of Houston. So the representative told me she gud hello be arriving to my home around 1800 r 1900. Well Ive had no updates and they are currently closed, because when I called a representative answered the phone, put me on hold then never came back to the phone. So Im still in my home over 2 weeks with 3 rooms that dont cool, and I have 6 kids. Im obligated to pay over $25,000 to this company for a service that Im not properly receiving. Its very frustrating because I keep getting the run around. So efficient air is NOT and has not been a good company to me in my opinion! After I pay this service off I WONT return nor shall I return for anything... Thank you for NOTHING EFFICIENT NO AIR!!!!Still no help and no accountability.Almost 11 o’clock at night and it’s 85 degrees in my home!!!
Bon came out and did warranty maintenance on my HVAC system. He was extremely polite and helpful. He provided me with answers to all of my questions and offered good insight into options regarding my system.

This company as a whole is amazing. They called and reminded me of my free maintenance and went ahead scheduled a technician to come in. Abraham came to the house and he was very professional. He explained the maintenance he did and answered all our questions and concerns in details. very very grateful.

I bought a new unit from this company last summer, have had them out 5 times to fix the issue. The last time they finally found the problems. Now we keep calling but no response or action from the company or from Sam the owner. Oh yes one of their technicians also stepped on a pipe and caused water damage to our ceiling. They never have gotten back with us about this issue either. I’m very disappointed in their follow through. Made great promises but no action to repair issue. Very disappointed in their care for customer!!!!!
My unit is pouring water into my home. They FINALLY came out to repair said it was a clogged pipe. BTW all the duck work, etc was paid to be replaced in February. A week later my ceiling caves in and more water dripping into my home. I had an appt on Friday and no show, I called Sat they set someone to come on Sunday again from 1 to 6 and I called at 5 they said they have someone scheduled for Monday. No manager or supervisor available and I am so FRUSTRATED.
Horrible company! Incomplete installation, and they took their payment from a credit card I gave them for the deposit. Never finished the install and never tried to contact me to complete the job. Scam company!!! Buyer beware, don’t do business with the shady company.
