After 9 days of no power thanks to hurricane, our ac did not come back on. We scheduled an appointment around 9 that night and Larry was at my house by 9:30 the next morning. Larry not only did a thorough inspection of the whole ac unit including the ducts, he showed me pictures and explained everything. He offered a variety of options to get us the outcome we needed with an expense we could manage. It was nice to have such transparency with an ac company. Thank you for the fast and thorough service!

I called Elmer’s to schedule an HVAC inspection on a townhome I was trying to purchase. I wanted this in addition to my general home inspection for negotiating.I called on a Saturday. I will say this for Elmers, they have the most pleasant and kind customer service reps answering the phones. I have spoken with Valerie, Juanita, Jennifer, and another lady (I forget her name). All were very professional, but the fact that I spoke to this many people, is a problem all on its own. The ladies who answer the phone do not schedule the service calls. They take down the information with preferred time, quote pricing, tell you a dispatcher will call you the morning of your requested time to confirm and then it goes to a dispatcher who schedules the technician based on the service needed. The dispatcher, Kenneth, called Tuesday morning and we went over the service request again. Somehow from ladies answering the call to Kenneth calling me, the need was not communicated fully. Kenneth was under the impression I needed a maintenance service call. Since this was an HVAC inspection, this call needed to be handled by a “Senior Technician”. He did not have availability for this type of tech on the day and time I requested, so we scheduled it for the following day. I was already nerved that from Saturday to Tuesday, in my mind, I had an appointment. While in an option period of purchasing a home, time is of the essence. Improper communication made me miss a day during this small window of critical time.Wednesday, the appointment day, arrived and I did not hear from Kenneth to confirm, as I was told. I called the nice ladies on the main phone line once again and expressed my concern. Kenneth called me back within the hour. I was told the appointment would be 4:00-6:00 PM and I would receive a call when the technician was in route. I left work early, met my realtor at the home, and then we waited. 6:00 PM rolled around and still no call plus no tech. I called the nice ladies again and was told the technician got delayed on a job and would be later than expected. I was offered to reschedule, but obviously that would have put me behind yet another day, so I declined and agreed to wait. The tech finally showed up at 6:30 PM. He walked in the door after introducing himself and stated he was there for the maintenance work. I felt like the emoji with the palm of my hand to my forehead. I had to correct him and reiterate what was needed, all the while thinking he maybe wasn’t a senior tech and possible couldn’t do the appointment. He was a senior tech and able to complete the appointment, but my UGH needle was way off the scale. Issues were found, David did a nice job, but there still seemed to be confusion on what I was needing report wise. David spent time telling me about how much the repairs would be, and payment plans they offer. Finally, I told him I just needed the report for now to take back to the seller for negotiation purposes, and I would possibly have them complete the work if I take occupancy of the home. David emailed the reports to me and my realtor, I paid the service fee ($129.00) and signed the forms he needed showing the completion of my appointment.My realtor called me after I got home and said the reports didn’t show what was wrong with the unit. It only stated the repairs that need to be done and the cost. For example, stating “condenser is bad” or “unit not cooling” is more effective than stating “cost to repair condenser is _______” with a dollar amount inserted. So, the next morning, I called Elmer’s and spoke once again with the nice ladies who passed on my information. A couple hours later, Ryan called, and we discussed my need. Ryan forwarded a new statement that will hopefully work for negotiations with the seller. My negotiations are riding on this one report!All in all, I feel I had to over communicate my need, and I think this is because of the many hands involved.Elmer’s, I am disappointed in my experience. I hope this information helps with future handling of appointments.

Brandon showed up to my sisters house within the window I was given for service. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, thorough in his inspection and most of all honest to my sister about her issues with her ac. He spent the time to do a thorough inspection after another company told her she needed an entirely new unit. He came back and told us her her system was fine and working correctly. He suggested to sign up for the annual maintenance agreement. The price of that agreement surprised me as well. Very good pricing. He even scheduled her first service call on the spot. Highly recommend Elmers and if you can request Brandon you will not be disappointed.

Service will be conducted tomorrow. Deep clean and UV light. House has had a musty smell since built and AC warranty company has not been helpful at all. Called these guys and John came out, did a thorough inspection and pointed out the amount of bacteria on my AC coils. Thanks John, Id leave 5 but need to wait for the work to be done.

Service tech Larry (20 years of experience) from Elmer’s was amazing. On time and fixed the issue is just the basic review. He took time to show me photos and videos of everything. He explained all options from just get my system working (lowest cost) to long term solutions that include the new upcoming changes with coolant and new systems. (My system is 27 years old). Not a hardcore sales pitch, just a quick education. We have had multiple techs and companies over the last few years and by far this was the best experience. Others have told us we have small leak and they cant find it, just charged us the search fee and more freon each time. Larry found it and it was visible on the outside unit not really hidden. He knows what he is doing and is very honest!

I didn’t know what to really expect when I called Elmers Air Conditioning, after hearing one of their commercials on the radio. But let me tell you, there are still honest and nice people left in this world. From their customer service rep.’s once you call to the service manager to the repair tech that shows up, all were unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable !! Long story short, I even by chance spoke with the owner, Elmer, on the phone after the quote was given to me. What a down to earth and caring guy.If you need A/C work done or a 2nd opinion, defiantly give them a try.

This past weekend my rental house had an AC issue. Enter Larry, 20 years of experience from Elmer’s. He showed up within a few hours of my initial call on a Sunday. He fixed the issue quickly and explained good, better, and best options and the pricing. Given my situation, I was grateful to not have a pushy sales pitch, but I am aware that I will need to replace my system in the near future. I will 100% be calling and asking for Larry when my current unit needs to be laid in its final resting place. He was kind, respectful, understanding and extremely thorough. He definitely knows what he is doing and his blunt New York no BS is quite refreshing in a world where everyone seems out to capitalize on someone elses misfortune.Much appreciation! I can’t say enough about Elmer’s and every single person on their team. So professional, friendly and so great at explaining everything in terms I understand. I’ve had a contract with another HVAC company, but I’ll be cancelling it on Monday. My new system is being installed Tuesday and I feel really good about it and the warranties that go with it. Financing it was super easy and the payments are good with my budget.

David is God sent. My initial impression of him is very comforting. The confidence he presented is very assuring. He did a thorough check on my compressor outside and while explaining it. I can tell he’s experienced with what he does; he was able to pinpoint the cause. With confidence was able to get my AC working. Brandon Theriot was our technician. He was very professional, nice , & respectful when he entered our home. He explained what he was going to do and did a very thorough job. He diagnosed the problem and gave us several options to repair/fix the issue. The process was very easy and quick from start to finish. Like everyone in the city of Houston we have been hearing about Elmer coming to town! We have been having some issues with a condensation problem in our attic so we decided to give them a shot. We got a no cost 2nd estimate. They showed up in the window that they promised and our technician Fernando was amazing. Very thorough in what he did and made sure I understood what he was talking about. Took some photos and showed me and I was very impressed with there overall approach. Fernando took the time to explain everything to me and give me all my options for me to think about and how I want to proceed. Was very impressed with their operations.

This company is not even worthy of one star but thats the lowest you can give them. They send you experienced salespeople that just love to upsell anything they can. Please know some HVAC knowledge before you call them and have you trying to spend some of your hard earned money.I called in for a diagnostic since my blower fan was blowing and was told I would have to replace a DAT sensor and my zoning board for $2,000 (I cant remember the actual cost since the salesperson didnt give me the quote to keep because Im sure they didnt appreciate me declining the work). The zoning board is completely fine and the DAT sensor isnt much. Instead of trying to have you replace the cheapest component and going from there, they try and bundle the replacement with something more expensive.I didnt accept the work and told the salesperson to proceed with a furnace tune up to make sure everything is running good before I start up the heater. The salesperson proceeded to wash my outside condensing unit when a freeze was coming that same night, even after I just washed it recently, and he didnt even bother to do anything else to the furnace. Im assuming he didnt because he didnt spend much time up there at all. He said everything was fine and left. I woke up this morning to my heater not running so I had to check my zoning board to adjust some settings and got it running right away. I guess the salesperson didnt like that I didnt accept the overpriced repair.I will put this company up there with Abacus and John Moore in avoiding at any cost. I will be calling another reputable company because Elmers is not it. Dont listen to any of those ads and pay attention to the fake reviews.

Back in July, right before Beryl hit, my AC went out. My usual AC guy was overloaded, so I rolled the dice and called Elmer. My tech came out and was shocked at how hot my house was (over 90). He got upstairs and found that my furnace had died (the original furnace, so 40 years old). He ordered me a new one and got me 2 window ACs for overnight. Installation was smooth and my AC was up and running by 10 the next morning.A few weeks ago, when it got chilly, I turned the thermostat to Heat, and nothing happened. The house only got down to mid-60s so it wasnt a concern ... but its gonna get COLD in Houston this week. I called Elmer. A project manager called me back, and sent out a tech who arrived in about half an hour. Tech got upstairs and found out that the installation guys had forgotten to turn the gas on to the furnace. Within 10 minutes, the heat was rolling and I was happy.I 100% recommend Elmer for your HVAC service!

We contacted Elmers on a Thursday. They said a person would call us back. Nothing happened. We called Friday. Same thing, someone will call. Then no call. We called Saturday trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. They said they would put us on the schedule and a technician would call us. No call. We skipped Monday. On Tuesday I told them their company didnt display any honesty or integrity with their customers and it was poor service. They said someone would come out in the early afternoon. They didnt. No calls saying they were not coming. At 450pm I called them and told them no other company makes someone wait for six (6) days for a technician. They were wasting our time. At 451pm the tech knocked on the door. I asked if it was regular hours. Their work hours end at 5pm. I told him I would not pay overtime. He said he wouldnt charge it. The tech seemed nice, but he said he would give me a written estimate. It is now Friday night. We have not heard anything back and we paid for the visit to get the estimate. I do not recommend this company. We will be asking for the service call money back. It has been a total of 9 days now and we still have no information. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

Was seriously let down. 1 they arrived late by 3 hours. They called and said that they were 30 minutes away. I left work early so I could meet them there. They didnt show up until 3 hours later. Tech arrived and didnt provide any test or have much of any answers to questions I had. Was told that he would get a senior tech that would perform a leak test and could give me more answers to questions I had about pricing. First he said, the senior tech would be on his way. But later said he would be here 1st thing in the morning. Got a call later telling me that the tech would arrive between 11 and 1. So had to take another day off of work. I just want you repair my home a/c unit. I already knew that my a/c is old but Im not yet ready to purchase a new unit. So the tech arrives and I immediately get used carsman sales vibes. He starts pitching a whole new system with many different options to choose from. This before he has even checked or tested my unit. Finally when I told him to test and inspect my a/c he told me a wrong diagnosis. But I believe to be true at the time. So I got the person who worked on it previously to check it. He came and actually pressured the system found and showed me the actual problem plus he didnt charge me to do it. Elmers charged me $375.00 to perform a leak check.and misdiagnosed.From hearing Elmers commercials on the radio. I thought they would be different from all the other AC companies in Houston but it just turned out they were actually just the same. Remember, always get at least two or three different quotes from different people or companies before signing on the dollar line. You could lose out on thousands. Wont be recommending Elmers ever again.

They sent Fernando out to thr house, he was polite, respectful, knowledgeable and took care and attention with the work that he was doing. Ray Sims was my service guy in Houston. Ray was on time quickly from my initial call. Ray gave me multile options on the repair of my a/c unit. He took photos of the equipment that needed repair and then took photos after the job was completed. He explained in understandable language. We have been disappointed with our home warranty which we have had for many years. The home warranty company recently came out to fix our AC. Their fix didnt work and so we decided to call Elmer for a second opinion. From the beginning phone call and throughout the entire experience Elmer was stellar. Kind, respectful, and professional. Especially Ray Sims who was patient with our many, many questions. He was knowledgeable and brought a level of service weve not experienced in years. We havent had our install yet, but so far 5 stars!

Our AC went out and we were able to go online that evening and schedule and Larry came out the very next day! He was very thorough, honest, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. We had a hiccup with our financials and Larry pulled hard for us and was able to secure us a helluva discount and refused to leave without seeing that my family wasn’t going to sleep in this Houston heat another night! Larry appreciated and respected my knowledge of my system taught to me by deceased spouse (of 26 years) who worked close to 40 years in the residential, commercial A/C and refrigeration business who taught me enough basics to troubleshoot. The bad Run Capacitor was one of a few possibilities I mulled over as the root cause. Quick to remedy getting another Tech out when assigned Tech became ill on another job and after that first 2-hour window lapsed I called about where is tech? They sent Larry (Sr. Tech.) who arrived in 45 minutes and problem isolated and fixed in under and hour. The details I provided the night before to the after hour answering service Im sure helped to ensure parts on board and to give Tech an idea of the issue. I used them for the first time on May 8, 2024 to handle a plugged drain line that needed some cosmetic modifications and signed up as a member. Doing so got me a 10% discount on the part needed today. So far am pleased. Im the kind of gal thatll cut you loose in a heartbeat if you try to hard sell or exaggerate repairs. Larry got the job done, answered some questions and overall...a very pleasant experience considering no one likes to pay for repairs in todays climate. Wasnt that painful. Id use them again and recommend.

I recently contact Elmer Home Services because I needed new gas furnace because my 20 yr old heater died. Interim I purchased another furnace but unit purchased wasnt energy efficient. Elmers sent Ray S. to my home discuss my options on Friday. My heating unit is housed in.attic so he went up into attic to examine unit & components for both ac & gas furnace. He also went outdoors to inspect ac unit. Ray notified if I wanted energy efficient furnace I would need a complete system replacement which includes the ac unit. Hvac tech explains it has to do with issue of compatibility because systems share components. I appreciate that Ray explained this with me because many industry sales rep would have sold me energy efficient gas furnace knowing for energy efficiency to be maximized both ac & furnace would need to be brand specific with same level of energy efficiency. Ray stated 4 things to consider when purchasing either unit: installation costs, energy efficiency, cost of purchase & warranties on parts and labor. He explained idea ratio is 10- 10 -10. 10 yrs warranty on parts & labor. Advised customer should consider 10 warranty on ac compressor & heat exchanger. Hvac tech explained what I would recieve with complete system. Recd the following new gas furnace & plenum box around the furnace. He stated I didnt need duct work. I would recieve new ac unit & new drain pan.I was happy I knew exactly what I would be recieving with complete system. Ray shared a few insider tips during visit. Companies need dealer authorization to sell their products. For instance, Trane decides which vendor to license based on whether the company trains its technicians to service trane ac or furnaces. He stated companies can only sell brand specific hvac systems the dealers license them to sell. Ray stated whichever, appliance purchase whether high, mid or low level its most important that unit is installed correctly to minimize issues with unit. He also stressed the importance of registering furnace & ac within 60 days of purchase because if appliance isnt registered within time frame warranty changes from 10 yrs to 5 yrs which is costly mistake.I learned a great from visit with Ray S.

To have suffered from our previous ac guy to Elmers is the difference between day and night. John was professional and more importantly executed a full diagnosis and plan of correction with integrity. He even called us with a cheaper option than originally proposed because he discovered additional details at teardown. I am happy with the service and will be deleting the other AC numbers in my phone which bring up another point. I booked online on sunday at 3:30am, I recieved a callback at 4:20pm the sameday, booked an appt for Monday morning10:30am, watched him while he explained my entire unit to me from top to bottom until 12:30 and had the problem fixed by 3pm. Outstanding service!! I called the night before to set up service. Service call was scheduled for the next day. Technician, Duwayne, arrived on time with area supervisor, Brandon, and performed $89 inspection. Both were extremely knowledgeable and polite. They performed the most detailed inspection of the furnace and air conditioning systems I have ever had done in 20 years of living in my home. They opened up the furnace unit in the attic, and showed me where there were drainpan, bacteriological conditions, and insulation, that had come loose and was blocking airflow in the ductwork that needed be corrected. There was no high pressure or upselling at all. Brandon set up followup appointment to give me my various options for duct cleaning and to to bring unit up to code and the estimated costs of each option - my decision.I highly recommend Elmers Home Services.I had contacted my company that I had used for 20 years the week before this and they told me they could not get out to check my furnace for a month.

Updated: I would not recommend Elmer’s as they seem to just care about the money and my experience ended up costing a lot more in the end. A friend of mine referred me and I was quoted almost $1300 then when I said I couldnt afford that, the price magically came down to almost half. I didnt even get an itemized bill of what I was being quoted for. Anyways, that fix didnt even work as I later found out I had a major leak that another company I called found in less than 5 mins. Which cost me a new evaporator coil.

Since they didnt start the work until late afternoon, he was very courteous to ask how late into the evening/night they could work because the install would be completed around midnight. I booked my annual maintenance AC unit inspection with Elmers Home Service. They did not disappoint! I was visited by with David and Jeff who after a thorough inspection advised us our AC equipment was in great shape. They both put extra attention to a concern we communicated involving a large rattle coming from our unit at start up and shut down only. They seemed to have fixed it during their seach for the potential cause. We apparently had a few screws loose on the unit and our fan was a little off balance. They were honest with their evaluation and didnt try to sell us something we didnt need. From their evaluation, we should be good for the next 3-5 years. Ill be scheduling Elmer for all my annual maintenance inspections and any AC services I may need in the future.

I made an appointment online for the next day to have my home A/C diagnosed and repaired since it was not working at all. I received a call shortly after with a person asking me the exact same questions I just filled out online. They also asked what the current temp inside my house was, which was 86 degrees! Then they proceeded to tell me that they don’t do appointments and that a technician will call me within a few days when they’re in my area.. I understand that this is a busy season, but since when is waiting days in the Houston heat without A/C acceptable? Just tell me you can’t do it because you don’t have enough people, or whatever other reason.Well it’s been 4 days since and I have not received any calls from a technician or Elmer’s. Luckily I reached out to others who were able to diagnose the issue and repair it the next day.So if your air conditioner is not working, don’t bother calling these guys. They won’t prioritize you and your business. I will never give Elmer’s my hard earned money!Edit: I reached out to Elmer’s, as requested in their reply, the same day. 2 weeks later I still have yet to hear back. The technician came in to diagnose an A/C problem and found multiple problems. I was quoted 3.2k to fix it. Other issues would be fixed later on for an additional undisclosed amount. While explaining everything that needed to be done. He kept trying to find a way to make more money. How big is your house?Does your curent hvac system cool down your house? You might need a bigger one. Is your kitchen hot when cooking? You need more vents. I see you have a big living room. You need 2 morevents right here. Lost my trust aftee seing how he was acting. Cleaned the fan blower and cleaned the outside hvac coils myself. The problem was fixed. Saved myself 3.2k and whatever they would charge me later on. Untrustworthy is the word I would use for my experience with this company.

I have two HVACs, one on each of two floors. First floor HVAC is not working. It has been tolerable because cold air drifts downstairs and stays at 80 degrees. I decided to try out Elmers after hearing repeatedly their advertising blitz. Sunday (July 28) I selected a Monday morning appointment for diagnosis. The website makes it clear the online appointment is a placeholder.After some calls it was confirmed for Tuesday morning July 30th. A tech and supervisor came and they were fine. It did take them 3 hours time and they diagnosed the problem (it appears a circuit board shorted probably after the power came back on after Hurricane Beryl).The went over and emailed me 5 levels of service with ever rising prices: critical (the circuit board), bronze, silver, gold, platinum. I said I would probably select the platinum but I needed time to read each of them and said I would get back with them. They said once I decided they could be back as soon as tomorrow.This morning at 930 a.m. I called their San Antonio service number (because that is who set up the Tuesday visit). I had a simple question: every plan says check over duct work. I just wanted to know does that mean they only look at it and if something is wrong they tell me and give me a price or do they do preventative maintenance or what? The lady did not know but said she would have a project manager get back to me. I did tell her I was ready to select the platinum service.I went to Elmers website to see if there was a way to pay for the platinum service online but I didnt see one. Since I got the diagnostic appointment online, I decided to try an online appointment as another way to get service.The 200-500 pm slot for today was available so I chose it and included a synopsis of the above as the service I need. Because of the previous service my address and other info was already in their system. The document I saved said this was at 951 a.m. today. At 958 I saw I missed call and called that San Antonio number back at 1001 and explained the situation. The lady I spoke to said she would get a manager/supervisor (something like that) to call me back promptly. I told her I was definitely ready to pay for platinum service.By 245 pm today I had received no calls or texts or emails. So I called the San Antonio number. This time Jose answered.. I explained everything and added that I go out town this coming Monday, I am ready to pay everything at once (no monthly payments) and I want my HVAC on the first floor fixed before I leave town Monday. He understood.I also told him how the auto shop around the corner would text me a list of problems, with supporting photos, their recommendation and various boxes for me to check with the price they would charge (and pay for) or skip. Payment was easy as making a click. I said Elmers needs to make it easy to pay for the service desired. The email with the 5 invoices nor the invoices had a way to accept and pay nor did I see one on the website. Jose said he appreciates the feedback. It appears he tried to put someone on the line with me because I was on hold a couple of times and the call lasted almost 11 minutes.Now it 410 pm, three calls and an online request for service and not a single decision maker has contacted me. I am a potential platinum level customer (the best?) ready to pay in full and yet after 4 attempts I dont get a substantive call back.I give the tech (Dewayne) and his supervisor (Brandon) 5 stars (though I wish they would email the photos they showed me). I give the admin people in San Antonio 1 star which is why I rated Elmers at 3 stars.I hope a decision maker at Elmers gets around to calling me soon or I will have to start all over with someone else. :-(

However… as an aside and not Ernest’s fault , the communication with this company is awful , Im pretty unhappy about how this panned out but this was the fault of dispatch not the tech . I like what this company stands for and a “Do the right thing “ approach but I guess that doesn’t apply with timing , call backs and overall customer service . Although the storms had their team busy, they were able to meet with me within the same week. I received a call from their dispatch when the technician was nearby so i could put my dogs away, and to make sure i was prepared. David was friendly and polite, and was clearly very knowledgeable about HVAC systems. I really dont write reviews unless I get great service or have a major issue with a company or person. This is kinda a mix of them both.I had a tech from Elmer come out to check my 2 year old unit that wasnt cooling properly in the afternoon, when temperatures were above 90 degrees. Not going to go into too many details, but he added coolant and evidently over charged my system. The issue returned in less than 2 days and he blamed it on a faulty thermostat.At this time, I could have been through with Elmer and looked for another company, but then the service manager Rick came out to look at the situation.He was the most honest and professional individual that Ive dealt with in years. He was able to find the root cause of my initial situation (faulty insulation with the coils), verified by pictures and factory design sheets and was able to have my system running properly in just a few hours. Because of his honesty and professional, I will do business with him and Elmer in the future.Just a little bit of PSA. If you have an issue with an individual of a company, dont immediately trash the company. Try to have another tech or supervisor access to issue. But at the same time, if a company has a bad employee, dont let them bring your whole business down.

Were not going to tell you you need a whole new AC for a million dollars. Which is basically exactly what they did -- their first quote presented to me was $16,477 for a unit that cools one bedroom and one bathroom. They never quoted anything that wasnt replacing my unit. Second company -- $205 repair, and the AC is working again. Dont believe everything you hear on the radio.

Carlos’s and Calvin were great. I can’t say enough about these two guys and the company they work for. I highly recommend this company and Calvin and Carlos. Elmer’s is new to Houston but not a new company. So tell everyone you know Elmer’s is the place to go for your air conditioning needs. We had two other company’s out to fix our air conditioner and they only left with a small bandage on it and a Ton of problems. If you want it done right the first time call Elmers. I discovered this company from a radio advertisement and the price for the tune up was in line with our budget. I also expected to hear feedback as to how our system is operating. Well pictures are definitely a strong selling point, although it was more of an educational experience rather than a sale. Rick Smith was our technician along with another friendly face, they both wore shoe covers and were very professional. Our estimate was sent via email with options for service which I love! I am all about options, being informed and not feeling pressured. I typically don’t like to listen to the radio but I am glad I heard Elmers background story which drew me in and prevented me from changing the channel.As a once single mom, I too cleaned homes to provide and both my parents worked in the service/ tech industry. The tech was on time. After he finished the evaluation, he sat in his truck for exactly 1 hour before coming to talk to me. When he was laying out a care plan, it really felt like I was buying a car. When I told him I wanted whatever it took to get me up and he said it needed to go to a senior tech. He said my compressor was out. The senior tech was scheduled for later in the day. I had another company come out who made it before the senior tech. It was not the compressor and my system was up and running in about an hour. My funny feeling proved to be right. I dont trust and cannot recommend this company.

I requested service and they were prompt in response. They tech came the following day. My mom was there, since I had to work. After service was concluded they tech said he needed to talk to me directly and scheduled a time the following day. He didnt show up or call. Not showing up is ok since we had storms the same day. But no one contacted me to reschedule. So I had to call in and request his findings, as well as I requested a quote on what they say I needed repaired/replaced. They sent only the techs findings with pictures. I replied to email for quotes and no response. We have called multiple times and talked to someone who said that they will send quotes or call me. And nothing. Very poor communication. I am wanting to spend money with you but you cant even contact me???

One guy was in attic and another guy was outside in the pouring rain installing the condenser.Very professional and very polite. Work looks excellent and home is back to feeling cool. He wasnt pushy to have us spend $2400 (including A/C, just cant remember what he mentioned was wrong with it)on a new furnace (motherboard and coils were wrecked from hole in roof leaks) I was nervous about it at first as I made the appointment Wednesday for Friday and was supposed to receive a call from a technician between 9a and 9:30a to confirm but I never received a call from a call for confirmation. I requested regular maintenance because my A/C units were working, but not cooling like they should. The technician came and did all of his assessment. He then told me that I had two major components that were out and needed to be replaced. The cost he gave me was going to be more than the unit cost me to begin with only 3 years ago, so I knew something was off. His explanation: “I know, I hate how expensive this stuff can be”. He tried to get me to set up an appointment to talk to someone about payment plans and options before he left, but I refused. I found out afterwards that he had turned my unit completely off at the breaker, so my house was now over 80 degrees, and I couldn’t figure out why at first. I turned everything back on and it took all night for my house to cool down to a normal temperature. My units were obviously functioning before he came, so I decided to get a 2nd opinion because I didn’t trust his assessment. My 2nd opinion came and found an incredibly easy issue and resolved it within an hour. Nothing was broken, and it was simple maintenance that needed to be done. I would not trust this company with my air conditioning needs. Not only did he tell me things were broken when they were not, but he then turned off my entire unit without letting me know so my house was suffocating by the end of the day.

Do not use Elmers, they are not worth the headache....I called to have a technician come look at my AC unit and was told they could have a tech come out the next day between 11 and 2pm. Fast forward to the next day, and the next day, the tech doesnt show up, so I call back to check the status juat to be told they could have a tech out by 4pm. When the tech finishes looking, he tells me that he got here too late and he cant get me a quote for the repair because the parts store is closed and that he would get me the quote the following morning. That was Thursday. It is now Monday, and I still havent received any update and I have called twice over the weekend with no follow-up or update from anyone at Elmers. (Both times I was told I would receive a call back but never did)I had to take a full day off of work to sit and wait for a technician who was late and now having to call another AC repair company because I have yet to get any kind of follow-up and going another week without AC isnt an option.
