Jordan at HVAC heroes is fantastic. Truly amazing customer service. He is knowledgeable, honest, punctual, friendly and is great at his job. He patiently walks through everything he’s doing and helps dumb down for me the complexities of his work. He doesn’t try to oversell but rather provides you with practical recommendations. As someone that is skeptical of contractors and specialists, I trust him and plan to call him in the future with all my HVAC needs. Highly recommend.

This is the temp in my home because of the poor installation job done 6 months ago by this company. The current HVAC tech could not figure out why HVAC Hero used the breaker they did. They also pointed out several other areas that need updating because HVAC Heroes cut corners. Pay extra with another company and avoid making your loved ones uncomfortable.

Excellent quick response! Contacted them in morning and had a repairman working on my heater in less than 3 hours. He quickly resolved the issue and price was very reasonable!

My furnace broke down out of blue. It was Saturday. Fortunately HVAC Heroes got to my place to check in 30 minutes and gave me a through analysis.Since the furnace was already 20+ years old, I decided to change it as well as the compressor.Considering a lot of money to replace the whole system, HVAC Heroes also gave me a quote of replacing the furnace only.I compared 4 quotes, and eventually decided to go with HVAC Heroes. Their price was reasonable, and they could install the whole system the soonest, even on the President’s Day!They came on time, and finished the job with quality. I later learned that they came from Houston to Austin to finish the work, because their Austin crew had trouble. I really appreciate their responsiveness and professionalism!

My house was so hot when I got home. The thermostat showed 85F even though it was set at 75F. My outside AC unit won’t stay running. I was freaking out and looked up on Thumbtack. HVAC heroes has the highest reviews and hired time so I reached out. They responded so quickly and Triston showed up 2 hours later. He’s friendly, professional and super knowledgeable. He checked on my ac unit and found the issue right away. The whole experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend HVAC Heroes for my friends and family for any future needs.

This company has been the absolute worst to deal with. We have been fighting to have our new AC unit installed properly and they were another NCNS today. The initial install was a nightmare, they were late, zero communication, what was supposed to be a couple hours turned into 11 hours of no AC and they ran out telling us if we had problems to call the boss. After destroying our attic stairs (they did have someone come replace a few days later) the crew that did the install damaged multiple vents in the attic. They have come out a couple times saying they repaired it only for it to still not be working properly. They finally acknowledged multiple vents are beyond repair and need full replacement. Scheduled to be here at 9am and no one showed, will not respond to texts or calls and we still only have air coming out of a couple vents in the house. Electric consumption has gone through the roof with this new unit because we are cooling the attic and hardly any of the house. I would recommend you go anywhere but here for a new HVAC or servicing.

This was my very first time getting maintenance done in my home since I am a first time homebuyer/homeowner. However, the experience was great and I feel that they were very knowledgeable about everything and explained in detail.

Julian arrived exactly on time and diagnosed the problem correctly. Good communication in explaining what the problem was and what my options were. Arnold and Jesus came next and replaced the evaporator coil. They did it quickly and made sure the floor of the house was protected in the places they walked. Very professional service. I would definitely recommend them.

We called HVAC Heroes for our home AC which had stopped working all of a sudden. They responded through Thumbtack within a minute and scheduled a check up within an hour. The technicians Triston and Julian arrived exactly on time. They diagnosed the issue within the first few minutes and worked on resolving it quickly. The issue was diagnosed correctly and they had the parts (capacitor) with them needed for replacement. We are very happy with the service that we received. Our A/C went out and our house was 90° with three young kids home - we were miserable and we weren’t having any luck with other companies getting out to help us ASAP. Words cannot express my gratitude and thankfulness for HVAC Heroes. In this day and age with so many scams and companies out to rip a person off, it is nice to know that honest people are still around like Triston at HVAC Heroes.I say this because I called John Moore Services about 5 days ago and they sent Miles Randall to my house one of their AC Technicians. I suffered terribly in the heat for several days because I thought that I could not afford to get my AC fixed. It has been ungodly hot here in Texas for the past week with temps ranging from the 90s to 105.The John Moore Services Technician told me that we needed a new compressor, and the cost would be $6299.00, and that we might as well replace the entire unit for around $8000.00 We could not afford that so we watched about 50 videos on YouTube, replaced the capacitor which is the battery, and installed a hard start kit to get the compressor going again, even changed the filter in the furnace. The compressor started working after that, so we knew that the John Moore Technician was lying about needing a new unit or compressor, however, the system was blowing hot air and the temperature would only go down a few degrees.I contacted HVAC Heroes after reading their reviews. They showed up an hour early inspected our air conditioner and said that all we needed was refrigerant which cost $75 per pound. Our house is nice and cold now. Also, there is a possibility that the John Moore Technician emptied the freon so that the compressor would not work in order to charge us for a new unit in which we did not need. I forgot to mention that my house is only 7 years old.A Million Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was down to earth and truthful about our options with our newly purchased home with a 15 year old AC unit. Wow! All I have to say is that Triston is truly wonderful at what he does. He’s straightforward, honest and gets the job done in no time! Hvac Heros has been taking of my 3 ac and heating units for two years now. They are courteous prompt and good at everything they do. You might pay more with them but you will always get top quality service.

Technician was on-time and professional. Quick diagnosis, but $375 to replace a $15 capacitor?? I think the tech quoted me a price based on the value of my house instead of the value of his knowledge and skills. Next time, Ill either DIY it or call someone who will repair it at a fair price. I guess I should have just paid for the service call..... My mistake.

So thankful for Tristan and HVAC Heroes. I was without AC around a couple of weeks trying to sort through warranty and big companies trying to charge me almost double. I was lucky to find them, we scheduled the job promptly, they came out and did a great job, charged me fairly and helped explain any other issues I had. They also came back out to help me with a thermostat issue. I would highly recommend them, and will only be using them for any future HVAC related needs as they really were a great and honest company to work with.

I hired HVAC heroes in an emergency situation because I had water leaking from my ceiling. The water pan from the air conditioner had overflowed because both of my condensation lines were clogged. They responded within 30 minutes. Fix the problem within 20 minutes and charged me what I believe was more than reasonable price, I will be using them for all my HVAC needs going forward

I had used another HVAC company the year before but couldn’t remember who, so I went with who could get here quickest.HVAC Hero’s sent someone out quick. He seemed professional and ran a diagnostic. He said our compressor was going out and that we needed 9.5 lbs of refrigerant. He quoted $3100 to complete the repair.With how expensive the repair would be we decided to get a second opinion. We found the company we had used before (North Point Air) and they sent someone out the same day as well. That tech pointed out that our system was still under warranty. A point that the HVAC Hero tech left out. He also pointed out that HVAC Hero’s quoted us for 9.5 lbs of refrigerant when our system only holds 6.3.We obviously chose to go with North Point. Going with them saved us $1000. I literally never write reviews. BUT I know that prices vary by company, but the dishonesty is something I could not get passed. Based on my experience. I would never recommend this company over North Point.

Its hard these days to find a reputable honest company to come out and evaluate your HVAC system and truly do only what is needed. Look no more guys I found one! Bought a house in July and have been going back-and-forth on who to have service my unit. A family member told me about this company and said they are very respectable honest and reliable. I remember calling and speaking with Darin on a Sunday afternoon he was available to come out Monday afternoon, the next day. He made his recommendation we decided to proceed and he came back later that same day to do the repair. Ive been in customer service for 16 years and have never been fortunate enough to have this type of treatment from a service provider. Amazing, courteous, professional, affordable I could go on and on about this company. All I can say is if you need somebody to service your HVAC system hands-down this is a Company to go with

Made an appt for sunday, was told that the streets were blocked off so they could not get to my unit only to find out there were several simple ways to get there. Was rescheduled for the next day only to be canceled on again because they dont work on our type of building? Completely ridiculous waste of time. I could have had a reliable company out to fix this by now but you have wasted my time and your front office person is rude. BEWARE

HVAC Heroes were literally heroes. My heater went out and they were able to fix it before my next air bnb guests arrived which was extremely convenient. Comms were amazing as well! And everyone was very polite. Will hire again 👍

They did amazing and honest. We called them after another company said we needed to replace our entire unit, but instead explained and showed us exactly how the other company deliberately unplugged and covered a wire that they had tampered with and saved us thousands of dollars. I’ll continue to use their services from now on!

Wow. Super impressive. I called them after finding them on google because we were having problems with our AC. Within minutes, the very friendly girl on the phone let me know that they could send a tech to my house right away. They then confirmed that with a text and the tech then texted me to let me know he was on his way. He then texted again to let me know when he was 10 minutes away. They diagnosed the problem quickly, went to pick up parts and came back to fix it the same day. All along, texts kept coming to let me know their status. If/when I need AC work again, they will be first I call. Thank you HVAC Heroes!

WOW WOW WOW I feel like 5 stars is cheating, they deserve 10 stars. I have used the big AC companies for over 25 years, but no more. HVAC Heroes is my go to AC company. I was truly blown away by Tristans honesty and saving me tons of money that the big AC companies wanted me to pay. I want to buy a lottery ticket now, as I feel like it is my lucky day, as I had HVAC Heroes come out to my house and save me tons of money. My Nest thermostat started showing e103 error. Going through online forums it seemed like it would be the contactor of the AC unit. I found HVAC Heroes online. They were prompt in responding and was able to book an appointment with them for the next day. Triston from HVAC texted me 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment. He checked everything and concluded that it was contactor. This shows honesty. He did not try to upsell. Triston did his work quietly and efficiently. Before no time he was done, sent me an invoice on text, paid and done. Id strongly recommend HVAC Heroes for your electrical problems.

Triston and the HVAC Heroes team provided us with exceptional service when our A/C condenser quit working. The came to our home on a hot Sunday afternoon and quickly diagnosed the problem. They provided us options and returned within a couple hours to install a new condenser. We did not expect them to install until the following day, but we were grateful that they offered same day install on a Sunday. I’ve been using thumbtack to help with finding local contractors for about a year. When I started to have issues with my A/C I got connected with HVAC Heroes. Contacted me fairly quick and scheduled an appointment same day! Honestly thought something serious was wrong with my unit but when Triston arrived he diagnosed the issue quickly and found out it was a simple fix. UPDATED: They installed a new system in July and it failed during the winter storm in December. Been calling for days and now they aren’t responding to make the repair. This is the winter we endured 18 degree weather and they are now avoiding repairing their own installation. I saw the response from HVAC Heroes below, I was not informed that they were waiting on a part. My tenant told me they would not return her calls and I was receiving the same luck.

System is great, owner not so great, had to reschedule, twice. The team who did the install, was awesome !!! But the owner needs to take some business management classes. Poor customer service, took three weeks to replace faulty thermostat after install, did not give us our warranty paperwork until several request and a threat to call carrier, after being told several times it was in the mail. But wasn’t filed with carrier until the day they finally presented paperwork. Did not replace faulty thermostat with one like we chose to have, instead we got a cheaper model. Bad Business Owner !!!!

Our AC compressor died. HVAC Heros came out within an hour of us calling, diagnosed the issue, provided solutions and were out replacing our condenser at 10pm. HVAC Heroes lived up to its name. My AC at my business went out, I needed new thermostats plus something else was going on with my units. Tristan responded right away, was able to come to my business same day, assess the problem, source materials and complete the work same day. The cost was the most reasonable of other providers I contacted. I was throughly pleased and will be using this company in the future for all my HVAC needs!

I called them when my ac went out on a Saturday. They were fast and professional. I believed it was a freon leak but the tech inspected the unit and found it had a bad Schrader valve. After replacing the valve pin, he found my system had to much freon from a year ago when another company fixed the unit. The price was fair and the service was great. I recommend them.

Triston who came very promptly for a serious issue of a fire in our ac unit was very professional. He called to ensure our warranty wasn’t still valid and gave us several options. Polite and professional. His team Manuel and several other assistants installed our new unit in one day and were very professional. Even when there were more issues from the fire that resulted in our thermostat being shorted they sent out a tech, Jordan after hours (8pm)to install our new thermostat (and waived a service fee for the installation of our thermostat, So kind!) so we didn’t have to wait another day without ac. PLEASE READ for your benefit! A few days ago HVAC HEROES came to my house and charged me $69.95 to diagnose my ac issue. The guy (Chase) showed me several pictures of “my ac unit” and ended up telling me I had to pay $7,000 for several things that needed to be replaced. I wanted a second opinion so I called EXPO. Twal Jubran from Expo called me and said he would take a look FOR FREE! He checked in the attic just like the guy from HVAC HEROES and found that the only thing needed was a new filter! He even sent me which filter to buy for my unit. He also informed me that the guy from HVAC Heroes did not even break the tape seal to check the system. So apparently Chase with HVAC Heroes showed me false images. Chase even had the audacity to text my wife and tell her we need to replace it soon or it will get worse, smdh! Now thanks to EXPO my ac is running great again. Twal Jubran from EXPO saved me 7000 dollars! Thank you so much for being an honest person and company EXPO! I highly recommend EXPO heating and cooling, NOT HVAC ZEROES!!!

My ceiling fell in, I thought my AC was gloggled and leaking. I went to Home Advisors online and they connected me with HVAC Heroes. Jordan promptly came within the time fame Tristan gave me. Jordan inspected the attic and informed me that my hot water heater is what caused the ceiling to fall in as it was spewing water and would need to be replaced. He then told me that my AC unit was in need of cleaning and the coils needed to be replaced. To repair the hot water heater he gave me a quote of over $1900 and to repair the AC over $3000 a total of over $5000!!! I had to decline. Once Jordan left the handyman I contacted to do the Sheetrock repair to the ceiling arrived. I informed him of what happened and he asked if he could take a look. After he inspected the problem he informed me that the hot water heat just needed a new nipple and line (looks like a piece of pipe and hose) and the AC just needed to be cleaned. He completed the task with in an hour. My hot water heater is no longer a problem & is working GREAT and my AC is cooling like its brand new! Cost of this repair $150. I you use HVAC Heroes I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GETTING A SECOND OPINION Thank you Wes from Wespaul Handyman & Remodel!!!

Did a great job installing my new air handler unit. There were a few issues after the initial install and they were out there to fix either the next morning or same day. Would suggest them for any AC related work.Update: After having several issues, would call and they would state they would have someone out the next day. The technician would never show up an I never received a phone call. Had a loose wire and it took nearly three weeks to get it fixed. Have had issues with the zone system an it has been more than 6 weeks and several phone calls with no technician. I should not have to constantly call to get a technician out to look at warranty work.

I am so disappointed by this company. I contacted them due to condensation on my air vents. AC was still blowing beautifully. They came to assess my unit and claimed I needed a new AC coil that would cost me 3500 dollars. I literally almost guffawed at the suggestion. I was suspicious about this being an incorrect diagnosis and had another company come in to assess my unit. Not only was the AC coil not leaking, but the other company stated that HVAC Heroes incorrectly checked on how to assess for leakage. A simple blocked drain was all that was determined and I was only charged a couple hundred dollars by the other company. Beware of HVAC Heroes and their incorrect diagnoses on minor issues.

They are not the best service providers in the houston area but they will eventually get the job done. I wont go into great detail about our experience unless they choose to reply to this post trying to defend their actions and errors. Just get multiple quotes and read the reviews.

HVAC HEROES took many attempts to fix our AC issues, made promises they did not keep, ruined our carpet, stained handprints on our walls, and dropped truck grease on our driveway in several places... All of which they refused to pay. They said they would, but to no avail.We had so much wrongly fixed from Burnett Services around 5 years ago. What a joke. I even had one of their techs just talk about AA and his new sobriety. His sobriety DID NOT FIX any problem. HVAC HEROES eventually fixed our AC after over 7 trips.Christian, and Jordan are professional, skilled, and went the distance taking care of our family, but HVAC HEROES dropped the ball on the mess they left. VERY disappointed.

The HVAC hero texted me when he was showing up and that allowed me to make sure my dog was put up. He showed on time and was polite and respectful. Went through his checks and explained the outlook for my ACs and steps I can take to extend the life. Plus he was knowledgeable about the UV and the dehumidifier options I am looking to upgrade to eventually. He also came up with a way to support my fence so it would be stable. Very helpful guy.

The a new ac installation went well enough but 2 weeks later when the compressor gave out these guys disappeared. After a couple of missed appointments and several attempts to contact with no response I had to pay another company to finish the repair.

TLDR:- They vanished after installing 3 new AC units, making their work warranty virtually worthless. We had to stalk them to get our calls answered.- They voided the manufacturer’s 10 year warranty on all new parts because they mismatched (ton size) of the condenser and evaporator coils.We had the Heroes install 3 new units - all 3 evaporator and condenser coils (the indoor and outdoor units) in 2017. They warranty their work for 2 years - and for two years they Heroically avoided our calls. It was as if they recognized our phone numbers and would not answer. We had to resort to borrowing other people’s phones to reach someone. Their main number doesn’t even tell you who you’re calling and you have to leave a message - except their mailbox was always full. We have had problems with all 3 units ever since they were installed, and not one of these Heroes could ever gave us a diagnosis that made any sense.We paid the Heroes $20,000 and they gave us an invoice that doesn’t even remotely reflect what they did. It simply states that they installed two 3 ton units and one 4 ton. That’s it. No model numbers, no itemization of materials, labor, etc. A Heroic oversimplification, bordering on fraud.It has been 2 years and my Hero warranty is up. Naturally, here we are in the middle of a heat wave and our AC is out - AGAIN. We’ve called in several other AC companies to evaluate the system and are just BEGINNING to learn how badly we screwed up hiring the Heroes. For instance:1. Not one of the evaporator coils (indoor) are the same size as the condenser coils (outdoor). All the evaporator coils are a ton (and more!) larger than their corresponding condensers. Any Heroes want to tell me why this isn’t a problem?2. The Heroes did not flush / vacuum the existing copper tubing of the refrigerant system which used R22 freon. They simply added R410A, which has damaged two of the 3 units (and will likely eventually cause the 3rd unit to fail any day now). As I understand it, leaving residual R22 in the tubing causes the compressor to stick and eventually fail, among other things. It is also the most likely culprit for blockages in the copper tubing - all of which had to be replaced yesterday at a cost of $1,600 (and that’s just one unit y’all).3. These Heroes didn’t seal the plenums, blowers or return ducts, leaving gaps of 1” in some places. This allows cold air to escape into the attic. It also allows the unit to pull in 120° air from the attic (instead of pulling in 75° air from the house). When outdoor temps are 95°, the BEST all three units can do is bring us down to 80° inside.4. An aluminum gas line is sitting directly on the external casing of the furnace instead of running from a steel elbow pipe. Over time, friction caused by running the blower could wear a hole in that aluminum gas line, causing a gas leak in our attic. One of the Heroes also ran that same gas line so that it touched the furnace exhaust duct.This is just some of the major stuff we’ve learned so far. I’ll come back here and update as we find out more (unless our lawyer decides that would be imprudent).Some of the minor stuff we’ve dealt with over the last two years warrants mentioning, but I’m out of room so I’ll just say sloppy, careless, leaky, trashy, and shady.So in a word: NO. They don’t just “happen” to be doing a big job right now where they can score you some AC units dirt cheap and it is not your lucky day. Skip these Heroes and keep looking.

Great crew, called to have them check my a/c that wasn’t cooling. They found the problem. Unfortunately, it required a new unit and they had one installed the next day. I will be using these guys in the future. Big thumbs up. Installation crew was awesome! They protected the floors and wore masks because of all our current situations, and had everything complete within a few hours!

First of all I am giving these guys a full 5 stars but for some reason, the Google image is only showing a 4.4 review. Please know that it is supposed to be 5 STARS! Moving on....these guys are the best in the business. I had old, corroded AC Air Ducts and they were sweating so much they caused tremendous damage to several areas of my ceilings. Not not only were they quick to respond to my proposal request (through Home Advisor) but they were out the next day to assess and give me a quote. It was very reasonable, and they even agreed to come in and do the work on Saturday. They not only replaced all the ducts but also hoisted them all so they would not be on the floor of the attic (so people wont step on them), and although they had originally planned to blow out our water lines, they decided to just replace them for us at no additional cost. Every one of these young men are 5-star professionals and Im so impressed. I also need to add more insultation to my attic and the guys told me theyd love to have the business but could recommend how I could do it myself and save $1500 in labor. I will be needing to replace my entire unit at some point very soon and when I do, I will be calling HVAC Heroes!

So thankful I chose this business! My daughters AC went out, she was panicked as she has a small child. The technician called ahead and said there was one job ahead but we were his next stop. He called us and let us know he was about twenty minutes out and arrived promptly! I hired them to replace a fan motor on an outside AC. They arrived on schedule ( I told them the problem before they came) they brought a replacement motor, start to finish they were there 35 minutes. No issue with the work. They charged more than double what the repair should have cost.

Installed three new AC units and left before I even had chance to look. Upon review they left the backplates off the new NEST thermostats and left huge holes in the wall. Now that holidays passed and in hazardous weather warnings found out none of furnaces worked. One was Gas not lined up, others are wiring which looks like two year old did

Impressive turnaround. Called in the morning, they came same day, diagnosed refrigerant leak and leak origin within an hour, orchestrated a warranty replacement of the attic unit and had it put in that same day.

These guys came out late in the evening to diagnose an issue with my A/C system. They knew what needed to be fixed with in minutes. Professional attitude and response. I will definitely call them again if needed.

Incompetent and unresponsive. They installed two new AC units last December. Incorrect installation resulted in flooding in the attic and massive ceiling damage. 5+ service calls and almost a later, we have not received reimbursement for the ceiling repairs and the AC units are still not working properly. To say that we are disappointed is an understatment
