Priority AC & Heat

I had a vent hood duct that needed to be modified while roofers were putting on a new roof. Matt was very professional and was able to work with the roofers to get the new hole cut in the decking and reconfigure the existing duct to a much better configuration. He had the experience to get the duct how I wanted it. It was a small job not really related at AC work, and he did a great job.

They have come to my house 5 times to fix my heating. Every time they came it was apparently a new problem they had to fix every time and now this last time they ran out of things to say and tell me I have to replace the whole system. I had to pay more money every time they returned and my heating is still not fixed. I do not recommend this company.

The a/c technician arrived 2 hours after making a request to have my unit checked for an unusual noise. Sean was able to quickly diagnose the problem and replace the faulty part . He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My experience with Priority has always been positive, I would recommend their services.

I called Priority in a panic. A leak came through the ceiling and I was overwhelmed to say the least. Jacob was so calm and kind. He assured me they would take care of everything. Matt, the technician, was friendly, professional, and knew exactly what to do. The issue was resolved quickly and affordably. Being new to the area, I had no idea who to call. I relied of Priority’s high rating and am happy to give them another 5 star review.

I have used priority, AC and heating numerous times over the years. They have always done such a good job. They are always priced fair. I can’t say enough good things about them. They have come in clutch so many times for me now sean was a great technician very knowledgeable very courteous and Jacob did an amazing job as well

Called believing our wet ceiling was caused by a leak from the AC unit in the attic, received same-day service. Matt Soto found that our AC drain was clogged as we expected, but that wasnt our main leak issue. He found the leaky pipe in the attic to ascertain it wasnt HVAC-related and gave us valuable information to pass to the plumber. Matt was knowledgable and helpful in giving advice to maintain our AC unit, as well as being incredibly prompt, professional, and friendly.

I called Priority AC & Heat to resolve an AC clogged drain line. Just my luck they were able to come out within an hour or two to resolve the problem and they did. Sean the technician was awesome. He was courteous knowledgeable, and explained everything he did. This is the second time I’ve used this company and if it were me and I were you, I’d call them.

This company is honest with excellent service! They’re super fast and so friendly. They took the time to explain everything to get my air conditioner going again. He also gave me good advice on some things I can do regarding maintenance that will help keep my system running its best. I HIGHLY recommend this AC company.

Update- This company was good for maybe a year, and that was it. I had trouble reaching them. Almost never got a response back. I was constantly overcharged on my monthly charges for the maintenance program. When it was time to do the 6 month maintenance to my A/C unit, the service went from great to not good at all. The last service that was supposed to happen was a no call no-show. I never received a call until I called my bank and asked for 6 months of payback, and that was a month after the service was supposed to be done. Im not sure what happened, but you guys need to get it together.

Jacob was fantastic. Priority AC was able to come out same day in the middle of August which was a huge relief for us. Pricing was fair and I was very appreciative of his work.

Sean with Priority has been by our house twice now and he has been so helpful. He is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. Jacob came to our house to address some capacitor issues that was preventing the outside unit from working properly. He was very up front about pricing and also very reasonable. Called Jacob and he came out same day and helped us cool down our home that was 93 degrees. I’ve used Jacob/ Priority AC for many years. Jacob has always been honest and professional. When a company has honesty and integrity, they will always have me as a customer.

I have known the owner for 8 years on a personal level. His reputation in our community is superb. Jacob is known for his honesty, integrity, and hard work. (He’s also a really funny guy). It wasn’t until this week that I needed his professional services and i couldn’t brag on Priority AC and Heat enough. The company is appropriately named bc they made me a priority and had parts, installation, and solution within 6 hours of initial contact. The part needed was difficult to locate but they did it! I had 3 American Standard units installed by Priority ac&heat . They were efficient, knowledgeable, and honest. The owner went all out to make sure everything was done correctly. I contacted Priority AC & Heat through google because of their great reviews and my need to have my AC serviced. They missed my 2 hour appointment window twice. I scheduled a 2-4pm appointment time and got a call from Matt saying that he was just leaving a job and that he wouldnt be able to get to me until around 5:30 pm. I then rescheduled for next morning. They gave me a 10am - 12pm service window for the following day. I received a call from Matt around 11:55 am saying that he wouldnt be able to make it until around 2-3pm. Nothing else was done to accommodate me as a customer or other solutions provided. Their service seems good according to their reviews, so take mine with a grain of salt. This was just my experience. I cancelled my appointment and will find another company.

Called after hours as I couldnt diagnose the problem with my ac unit myself. Jacob was here within 20 minutes. He determined the issue with my unit within a half hour. I scheduled for him to come make the repair the upcoming Monday and he even lent me a small window unit until the repair was made!My landlord decided to use his own AC repair man to fix the issue, but Jacob still allowed me to use the window unit until the main unit was repaired.I will definitely recommend Priority AC & Heat.

The installation was very fast and clean up very good. Matt and his crew came today for a checkup in the newly installed system. A few adjustments were made to the ducts to improve airflow and the Freon was checked. Everything is working perfectly. These guys are awesome! Great crew and I highly recommend Priority!

Jacob came out a d serviced all of my rental proeprties at once. He ended up finding a problem with one of my units that could have been very costly to fix but instead fixed it before lt became a big issue in the middle of Texas Summer Heat! On time and professional!

My coil went out on a unit and these guys were very responsive and very communicative. Jacob (believe he runs the company) is a true professional and all round nice guy too. He came within 2 hours of me calling sos on my AC. After thorough checks, he found compressor needed replaced (warranty repair), and he got it taken care of the next day. It’s tough to keep up 5* reviews and I can see why this company does.

I recently had one of my a/c units go out and called Jacob with Priority. 2 of his techs (Matt & Sean) showed up the next day on time, and were extremely helpful. They diagnosed my system quickly and were very understanding of my financial situation. 2 days later my new system was installed. During installation, Jacob actually noticed that my ducts were incorrectly installed and went ahead fixed it for me free of charge. Also, they’re very good about you updated with eta’s. Just top notch service all around, from start to finish. Would highly recommend them to anyone for their HVAC needs.

I called them around 1pm and was told the tech would be here around 2-4 (same day). Around 5pm I receive a phone call that the tech never got the ticket and they apologized etc, but they said another tech had just gotten in his van and was on his way over. Matt (the tech) came, was knowledgeable and respectful and was able to install a new thermostat while he was here. We were very grateful for them, their communication when they couldn’t be here on time, and will never call anyone else again! We’re very happy with service.

Wow, they got to my house within 2hrs of making my appointment and fixed my issue within 20 minutes of arriving. Mike was professional and easy to talk to. Matt (technician) arrived on time during a brutally hot Saturday morning —and was both thorough and honest on assessing our HVAC system. We got the boost of arctic air we needed by the end of his repair.This was my second time working with the air conditioning company in Clear Lake. Was even able to pay through Apple Pay. So clutch. Priority AC & Heat was the best choice that I’ve made regarding the new installation of my central air system. Noticed an issue with my A/C late last night. I went online and booked an appointment for the next morning. In less than 12 hours from discovering the issue Mike had arrived and repaired my A/C! Jacob made an appointment. Two person crew was on time, diagnosed (even took a photo to show what was working and not working), and cleared the clog up quickly. Thoroughly answered all my questions to help prevent clogged drain in the future. Will be using this company in the future for AC repair. Update another appointment a couple years later. Fixed in an hour! This company is so great!

I found this company through Google and easily scheduled an appointment. Mike called to let me know when he was on his way, arrived promptly and looked around thoroughly investigating the problem that we were having with our AC. As he was repairing the problem, he patiently explained what he was doing, how it works, and answered all of my questions in a knowledgable and professional manner. Once the repairs were completed, Mike checked everything again to ensure that there were no problems and that everything was working as it should be, repairing little odds and ends that could potentially cause future problems, while explaining to me how to do it myself to avoid costly future AC repairs. Mike exercised COVID safety protocols, as well as took measures to keep all areas he worked in clean. I’m very impressed with the service delivered, as well as the knowledge and professionalism exercised. Think we have found our AC company!! First met Mike with Priority in Sept 2021 at my last house when the original tech I called, from a different company, miswired a capacitor he installed and didnt come back to fix it. Upon calling Priority, Mike arrived and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue.Called him again in Jan 2023 because my furnace wasnt working and he came and inspected and did maintenance on the ignitor and rest of the system. Got the system working again and was honest that no replacement parts were needed. Great, timely service. Highly recommend.

I have called Priority AC & Heating three times in the past before having my unit replaced. Every time very satisfied with response, service, and follow up. I have received service from 2 service technicians and one installation crew. Always a great job done. Will continue using them in the future and recommending them to all my friends and neighbors. After I told Jacob that I wanted a new unit, he inspected everything and said my heater was in good condition saving me a lot of money. I believe he is very knowledgeable in his field.

Jacob was the repairman who came and fixed our AC unit today. He was here exactly at the time stated, was extremely knowledgeable and professional and made sure that he conveyed to us what the issues were and the solutions available. Once we decided on the solution for us, he got to work and in no time at all had the AC up and running, and the house cooling down. My evaporator coil was bad, leaking refrigerant so downstairs of house was not cooling. They had someone to the house & replaced it quickly. I am not only Blown Away in the service I received from Priority AC and Heat but absolutely shocked at the empathy and true concern towards my AC issue. Thursday morning my mother reached out to me to ask for my help with her AC issue. She had hired a local handyman to change her thermostat because her AC has stopped working and she assumed that was the issue considering she just got a new unit installed less than a year ago. I met the hired handyman at her house at about 1 p.m. with a new Wi-Fi digital thermostat for installation. Long story short it took him over three and a half hours to eventually put back on the old one because he stated the new one wasnt compatible. Then came up with the conclusion that it wasnt the thermostat but was able to get it to start working or so he thought for temporary fix or so he thought. Needless to say when my mother arrived home she noticed her heater was blowing and not the AC. Meaning the man couldnt even put the wires on correctly. At this point I was blessed by making the best decision in calling a AC professional to do the job. Priority AC & Heat was contacted at approximately 5:15 5:30 on Thursday night and I had the pleasure of speaking with Jacob or should I call him a heaven-sent angel. Seeing as my call was an after hours one I figured my situation wouldnt produce a same day appointment, but by my astonishment Jacob was available for my after- our repair needs and truly polite caring and considerate and every aspect of the way. Jacob set me up an appointment right away that was scheduled within the next hour and a half. Not only did he make this after-hours appointment but he also took the time to email me my appointment confirmation with all the information I needed about my service call appointment. Upon arrival he was respectful understanding and very compassionate in the way he took the time to explain what he was doing and what he was Finding to be the problem. Jacob diagnosed the issue with the air Within 5 minutes or less and had it fixed even faster. But that wasnt the end of our story even after my unit was fixed and blowing nice cold air Jacob took the time to go outside and check the outside unit 4 Freon levels and to do a performance examination Etc. And at the same time its laying it all step by step of what he was doing to my mother who isnt really knowledge in this area. Anything he could do to ease her mind and ensure her she was going to stay cool and the problem was taken care of. I have never had an experience with the company that I couldnt say more good things about usually its the opposite and all I do is complain and gripe to my husband so I am pleased and delighted to be here writing this review because for once someone actually went above and beyond and not only did it because thats the genuine work ethic they have but because they truly cared about their customer. I would like to tell Jacob thank you I appreciate everything you did for us today. Also I am happy to say that if I ever need any more maintenance repairs or a whole new unit the only place I will look to is priority AC and Heat. We just moved into our new house and not too long after started having AC problems.. these guys came right out and found we needed a new unit vs the filter and unit that had already been installed ... in past situations this could have taken months but these guys were on it!! Had parts ordered, cleaned coils, changed filter size to adapt to new unit, and all installed within a couple of days .. this company is amazing! Jacob and Mike work great together and even came to do work on Saturday and Sunday.. Matt was a very professional and personable technician. He was prompt and polite and not only got us taken care of quickly but was very thorough. Excellent service!

Jacob helped us to fix the AC pipe punctured by roofer and refill the Freon. He helped to move the AC line away from the roof to prevent the same incident in future and also advised how to keep lint away from the AC condenser. He also helped us check the smaller AC unit and less us know where the slow leak will be so we can plan for replacing that in future.

Cant say enough about PAC&H! Jake and Dan showed up early ( thank goodness), did a thorough check of our unit, and explained what was wrong and what our options were. Nice service men. Thats where the good ends. Its take a lot 3 visits to fix the condensation drain. The last man fell through the ceiling because the booties they wear are slippery. The drywall repair guy was a no show today. It took all day to reach the office. I took off work for nothing. The owner was clueless then condescending. I paid $500 for holiday weekend service which has turned into a fiasco. I the owner said, sorry about that and made little effort to remedy things. MOVE ON FROM THIS COMPANY!

After 21 years our AC/Heat unit went out and couldn’t be repaired.We got three estimates for the replace and Priority air was the most competitive price and seemed the most qualified .The unit was replaced in a timely manner which was greatly appreciated because it was during the hottest days of summer.While the unit was being installed we decided to make some changes in the ductwork which we had failed to ask about during the estimate process. My upstairs A/C unit went out early morning and I called Priority A/C and Heating. They made my situation their priority. I called them at 10am they were at my home that afternoon around 1pm and had my upstairs unit back running in about 30 minutes. They replaced the issue and added a compressor booster. Appreciate them for fitting me into their busy schedule.

Very professional efficient crew. Two man job uninstalling and installing a new 160lb wall ac unit. Crew had to enlarge the hole and gave me a spot on quote within my pay range, while maintaining the units security. After installation the crew stayed in contact to ensure a solid job, waterproofing the installation site.

Priority AC has been servicing my 15 year old AC unit for three years. I have been very pleased with the thoroughness of the annual check-ups and the explanations when a repair is needed. They have made a service call to diagnose and repair my AC when it would not run on a hot Sunday morning.

My first contact with PA&H was on time and they informed me when the tech was in route also which I appreciated. They ended up replacing our furnace and they installed an American Standard furnace for us and we were impressed with their work and attention to detail.

I called Priority AC & Heat for services and they were at my house the next day. Jacob was very professional. Any question I asked he had answers for. I will 100% recommend this company. Pricing was great!

Great and quick service. Had to have them come out to service my outside unit on a SUNDAY. Most places charge and extra arm and a leg for Sunday service. Service fee was only $89. Everywhere else would charge $120 just to come out plus the extra service cost of the repair plus parts. Had to replace the fan unit and they had it on hand and got us cooling again in about an hour. Price for new fan motor was comparable to other places. Were planning on calling them again for our next issue and so should you. A+ service.

Called Jacob around lunch time and he was at my house within hours . Jacob was very honest, friendly and kind ! He is our new go to Ac guy ! Gave me a lot of advice on how to maintain A.C for future . 10/10 would recommend .
