I can not say enough good things about this business. A few years ago they installed our brand new ac unit and were extremely friendly, efficient, and all promises were kept. The unit has been working flawlessly.But what has really impressed me is when we called them out just for simple maintenance before the summer hit they were again super nice, on time, explained everything they checked and didnt charge us an arm and a leg. Complete professionals.Just recently we had a leak in our ceiling that we thought was coming from the A/C unit. After filling our their online form I received a call in less than 10 minutes to schedule a next day morning appointment. This is on a holiday week, too! Talk about being on top of it and caring. Well, as it turns out I cancelled my appointment because we found out it was not an AC unit problem and we were able to fix it ourselves. But again, H Town AC Repair called to make sure we were good, even gave us a number for one of their plumbers in case we needed any assistance.Im not sure where they receive their training and customer service from, but its simply amazing. It is rare to find this in a company, much less in the home repair type business. Most places feel a bit sleazy but H Town AC Repair is the opposite. They feel like a partner that you can count on. They will continue to receive my business.

Was able to call and have Alex come out within a few hours. He was able to fix the problem quickly for a fair price, and was also very informative and helpful, even offering tips to help with the units efficiency. Alex really knows his stuff and treats the customer straight up and with respect unlike some other scummy companies. They have earned a returning customer with me and I would highly recommend H-Town AC repair!

This company values honesty. The fan on my ac unit was not blowing and I feared the worst. Anthony from H-Town AC Repair called and asked if he could arrive early for our appointment, which was great. He went into the attic to inspect the furnace and quickly discovered that a power switch had been turned off and that was all there was to it! (By the way, a plumber from John Moore Services was responsible for turning off the switch when he was here yesterday giving me an outrageously expensive estimate for some plumbing repairs). Other AC companies may have tried to talk me into something I didnt need....but H-Town proved to me that they are honest. They will be my go-to AC repair company in the future.

These guys are really great. We have a large commercial A/C unit that had gone out for the second time in 6 months. The guys that fixed it last time said that it needed a new compressor, to the tune of $15k! I had used H-Town once before at home, so I called them in for another opinion. They correctly diagnosed that the part the other guys had fixed months ago had gone out again. He offered to do a 3-way call with them to explain the diagnosis, but the first guys came back and agreed with H-Town. They are supposed to come back and fix it tomorrow. Mark was great through the whole thing and saved us $15k. Next time, we call H-Town first!

My furnace went out ... started blowing cold air.. I called the company who originally installed the HVAC when the house was built and the woman who answered was abrupt and said they had no time and would call me tomorrow to set something up. I then went on yelp and started searching for another local HVAC company and found H-Town. I initially spoke with Mark who advised me that his guy Anthony had just finished a job close to my home and said he would call Anthony and get back to me in 5 minutes. Mark called me back and said Anthony was on his way (be advised this was after hours) and was six minutes out. Anthony then called and said hed be right over. He arrived and quickly found the issue which did require a part he didnt have in stock. He said he would pick it up in the morning and replace the defective part.. The after-hours call was 85.00 paid via credit card which will go toward the repair tomorrow. I was impressed with the level of service, the rapid response and the genuine desire to help me. These guys are great. I totally appreciate the service and will definitely use them again!

Responsive and timely, excellent service each of the two times I’ve used H-Town to t/s and fix aging HVAC. No sales tactics or pressure to buy something new and fancy (and expensive), like I’ve experienced elsewhere, just took pride in fixing the issue and extending the life of my current system. Anthony completed the most recent service call and was professional and competent, friendly to boot. Recommend.

Anthony was very knowledgeable and was able to give me good tips as a first time home buyer. He broke down every step on what he was repairing and seemed very passionate about it! Top notch service my friend. Would recommend to anybody in Houston area!

Got 4 quotes to change my AC system. Other companies gave me a high quotes first and then tried to negotiate the price. Htown gave straight forward price with no hassling of the price, no hidden fees. Great quality and service with low price. Will recommend to my family and friend if they need hvac service in future.

Editing previous review once again:Dimitri promptly made the situation right again. He and Billy know their stuff and are very good and professional. If you get them you are in great hands, I just unfortunately cant say the same for my experiences with Alex. Twice he has told me my compressor needs to be replaced when that is not the case, so had I listened to him it wouldve erroneously costed me thousands. But I am correcting my score because of the companys willingness to rectify the situation.

I was introduced to H-Town through home warranty. Billy fixed the issue and educated me on how to properly maintain my system for max efficiency. Trusted and experienced. I used them at my dads house when the AC went out. They were on site and had the issue resolved within 24 hours. The tech and assistant were professional, friendly and knowledgeable for the 2nd time. Quality, honest service at a reasonable price. 10/10 recomend

Im so glad I found these guys (Eric and Caesar). They fixed my AC economically when they could have easily said I needed to buy a new unit. I like how Eric could put himself in my shoes instead of trying to get the most profit. And now my AC is not leaking! I will definitely call on them next time. And I will recommend them to others.

I started having issues with my a/c about a month ago, first it was the capacitador, I called another company and they came and replaced it, then a month after that, the motor of the fan went bad, I called the same other company and they replaced. Then 10 days after that repair, again my unit stop working. This time I called H-Town. First, I was impressed how quick they send a tech to check my system: he came the same day, 3 hours after my call. He checked the entire system and determined the blower was not working, the coils were freezing, and there were leaks. There was no air coming out of the vents. He suggested to place a new unit due to the age of the system (the condenser was from 2010 and the evaporator from 2004). I was worried to have to spend money in a new system. They sent the estimate and I spoke with the office to discuss it. They suggested that the owner, D-mitry to come and check everything again. The owner came the following day in the morning. I was very pleased with his attention and explanation. He said they could change only the blower and coils, but he said it would be a band aid due to the age of the system. I did not want to continue paying for repairs and I decided to have installed a new system. In addition, D-mitry saw that my ceiling vents were not the correct ones for ceilings , they were for walls and he said he would come in the afternoon to change them. Sure enough, he did even though wasnt part of the job proposed. It was a nice touch of customer service. The job started immediately. Roberto and Ed were the installers. I could not be more pleased with their diligence and professionalism. The installation went flawless.H-Town earned my trust and respect because they treated me with respect, they gave me the necessary attention and the customer service was superb. I strongly recommend H-Town for any air conditioner repairs/jobs. Im sure you wont be disappointed. I found this gem in desperation of taking care of my a/c problem in the middle of the hottest time if the year and surely they delivered an A+ job. We’ve been using H-Town for years and are always happy with their service. Our units are on the roof and not easily accessible, but they fit me in same day whenever one has an issue.We recently had to replace a full system, and H-Town was able to get it installed right away for a great price. We had a new AC system installed by H-Town. The install team ran into some small issues, but their owner (Dimitri) personally came out the same day and spent the time to address the issues. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service. I was concerned if a smaller company would provide the same level of customer service as a large company, but H-town surpassed my expectations. Their owner is committed to customer satisfaction.

Had to replace both HVAC systems at home and called for several quotes. H-Town was the most reasonable and we scheduled quickly. One system went in flawlessly, but the second system had some issues. H-Town was extremely responsive and flexible in resolving the issue even sending someone out over a holiday. I was disappointed in the issue, but things go wrong and they handled it very well. I will be calling them again in the future and recommending them to others.

These guys were very helpful and knowledgeable around my two ACs. I had a broken coil and every other company I called wanted to charge me as if they were doing open heart surgery... these guys did the whole thing and went out of their way to work around my working hours. Also, honorable mention to Mark who does a great job answering all of my questions over the phone and quickly gained my business. One thing to “fix” would be to mark their car “H TOWN AC REPAIR” but maybe they just have not gotten around to it. Thank you all!

If you are looking for an outstanding HVAC company in Houston, I highly recommend H-Town AC Repair. I manage several properties in Texas and have had a variety of experiences with HVAC companies. After a bad experience with the last company I hired in Houston, I did a lot of research on line and came across H-Town AC. and they have been taking care of my properties for the past two years. Their customer service is second to none. Every person I’ve dealt with has been very professional and caring.They did the maintenance at one of my properties two weeks ago and discovered a leak, the repair was completed and the following Saturday afternoon the AC stopped working. I had a new tenant moving in that day and I was beyond horrified that my tenant was not going to have AC on his moving date. Given that this happened on a Saturday afternoon was definitely a challenge but I kept in touch with Mark Kolsa, their Manager, he clearly cared about my concern and stayed in touch with me until the repair was completed. I am so happy that I chose H-Town as my service provider. Their team, Anthony, Mike, Billy and Antonio did an excellent job in making the repairs. They definitely turned what was a very stressful situation for me into a memorable experience. I am so grateful to Dmitry for hiring great and caring people. I had everyone come out from the top of the top to the handy man to look at my air ducts that were completely shot (over 20+ years old).. and after talking to Alex I was 100% sold on H-Town AC repair. Have used them 3 times over a few years. They have been excellent in service, price, quality of work and communication. They’ve done general checkups, a coil replacement, and an emergency service when a capacitor went out. Have had a chance to see a few different teams from them, and on occasion speak to the boss who is keen on quality/service. All positive experiences.Arrive when they say, and I appreciate that that do better than crazy windows and provide a courtesy call when en route. They were always respectful of house and family.I don’t review often, but I highly recommend.

Billy was very professional and was able to locate the problem and find the issue to resolve. He was also able to provide recommendations to assist. He is one of the best Service Techs Ive dealt with over the years while working with H-Town and Mark.The reason why I couldnt give this review 5 stars is because of the service address issue the office seems to have. If you have more than one service address tied to your account EVEN if you confirm which address to go to, the system seems to pick one address in particular and each and everytime the Tech goes to the wrong address. Its very frustrating and wastes time.

I already had 2 quotes, but looked at Yelp reviews for a third one. Dimitry actually gave me three separate quotes to review, with each having pluses at different price points. All three were better than my previous quotes, and with H-Town’s great pricing, I choose Goodman 96% efficient, 2 stage systems. Install went well, and we would highly recommend talking to H-Town.

H-Town arrived on time to install my new heat pump (inside & outside units). Friendly folks! They jumped right to work and seemed to do even more than they said they would do (extra ductwork, high-end thermostat, etc). They buried the new wires from the house to the condenser inside a pvc conduit without any complaints about the extra work. The final price was the agreed-upon price, to the dollar, no ups or extras. My only complaints are: I would have appreciated a bit more thorough cleanup of bits of insulation inside & out (a homeowner is always super picky about that) and although I ended up not needing it, many folks might need a financing option with a more reasonable interest rate. Overall, I’m very happy with H-Town and my new, powerful, quiet Trane heat pump!

I have a mini-split that wasnt cooling. Two other firms added freon but couldnt fix the leak. I did some serious research andcalled H Town AC. They responded that evening. They were very professional and within a half hour, diagnosed a broken valve, which the other firms had not considered. They returned the next day and replaced the valve and charged the system and the system is working perfectly. They are the real deal.

My letter to H-Town: I want to tell you how happy I am with the service of last week. Every year for the last 4 years we bring somebody out to try to fix the heater and every year they cant get the job done. Until I called H-Town.Your man Billy is a genius, he figured out the upstairs damper was broken and replaced it. Then he figured out the motor for the downstairs damper was broken too and he replaced that.The whole job took four trips and each one of them on time and most courteous and best of all the $450 of your initial estimate was all you billed me. And you did not sneak in sales tax like some unscrupulous companies do. Its been four days now and the system is running perfectly. Finally!I am sold on H-Towns competency, courtesy and honestly and next time something breaks you will get my call.

Billy came out to service our air conditioner today and did an amazing job! He talked us through everything he was doing on our unit and gave us some tips to keep everything running in good shape. We had to change coil on one of our conditioners. We called H-Town company and others to give us estimate. H-Town was one of the cheapest. And they we able to do the work next day! We have a fairly new home and tried calling the original installer a couple times… they still haven’t responded. H-Town was out same day and the repair (waiting on parts since eval was late in the first day) was done less than 36 hours. Great job, great guys!

We called H Town AC repair on Saturday & got a call back with a scheduled visit to troubleshoot the problem for the next day from 10am to 11:30am. Dimitri arrived Sunday at 10:55am and brought all his gear to the job site. He found the issue in under 5 minutes and mentioned that hed get the replacement part the next day. Dimitri did so and installed the replacement part on Monday. Bottomline, by Monday evening the AC had cooled the house down to 75F. So we got prompt, efficient, accurate, and friendly service over a weekend. Well definitely use H Town in the future as the need arises, and suggest you do too.

I have been using H-Town Air Conditioning for several years. They have replaced two of the condenser coils in my AC units, serviced and cleaning both units, and made repairs. I have been very pleased with their thorough and professional service. When our units stopped working, they were responsive and came out right away. Dmitri is very knowledgeable, professional, and respectful of my home. He identified the issue and had team out to replace condenser coils next day so we didn’t have to go long without AC. Their pricing is fair. It’s been three years now and they are the only are my go to for AC/HVAC issues.

I had to replace my two furnaces AND my AC units in my attic, and H-TOWN was amazing at responding quickly, being upfront with great prices, and even following up after the installation. Every time I email them they respond very quick and can be at your house very soon. Highly recommend!

I dealt with several AC companies over several months when my AC was acting up. H-town did a great job troubleshooting the issue and ultimately fixing it. I dealt with Billy, Anthony, and Ivan (on separate occasions) and they were all wonderful, especially Billy.One thing I really appreciated was they showed up when they said they would. Another company I tried would tell me they would show up between 12-3pm, and then not show up until 6pm (and that was after I checked in with them at 4pm and 5pm.)Great work and I would recommend them to others.

I never give online reviews... but H-Town deserves me taking the time to do so. I have used many AC companies over the years and H-Town is by far the best AC company I have used because of the fair pricing, I dont feel like they are trying to upsell me every time they come out, and they are usually out the day I call. Their techs also all give me great peace of mind during the stress of having AC problems. Stop your searching and just use them! Haha

These guys are tiers above other AC companies. I went through several disappointing companies before discovering this one. They were able to find an issue that all of others couldn’t find. Called to have them check on my heater. Billy was the technician they sent out. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Took care of my issue and gave me tips to keep my system in tip-top shape. Reasonably priced. They have me won over. Will definitely keep their number saved.

We hired HTown AC to do a diagnostic and they found wiring behind the thermostat was mistakenly painted over. The tech explained this to me, changed the thermostat and wire and all was good. Not two weeks later the AC doesnt turn on again and the wire right next to the one they changed, and already charged us for was also painted over. The reason for the low stars is because the wires are right next to each other so why not change them both at the same time you were there? Instead they hit us with another trip charge charge and a charge to change out the other wire. I called and spoke with someone about this and they were supposed to call me to discuss but didnt. The lady I spoke to had an attitude and it seemed like she wasnt listening at all and just sent me the bill. I work for a large GC in Houston and we call this nickel and diming which is not professional or how you build a good customer relationship so because of this we will not be calling this company back again.

I am really impressed by the services H-Town AC Repair provided. I requested them to install a whole-house dehumidifier and I am impressed with the work- I had a few special requests regarding installation. Kat at at the office had great communication and the main technician did a great job on the install!

The representative of their company showed up later than appointed. The time window I was given was 4-6 pm and he called me a few minutes before 6 and said he was nearby. He was very polite and apologetic and offered me an opportunity to reschedule. I decided to go ahead and get it done. He showed up about 20 minutes after 6. He was very courteous and professional. He went right to work and a short time later he apologized for interrupting me and asked if he could show me something, He showed me where one of the pipes connected to the unit in my attic was leaking. He pointed out some staining in the wood that demonstrated that the leak had been going on for some time. He explained that whoever had installed my AC unit had decided to cut a corner and left off a short length of hose and basically jammed two lengths of hose together. He said he could fix it for $75 dollars. I agreed and he went to work on it. He came back downstairs a short time later and explained that he had added a short length of hose to fix the leak, but his glue had hardened in the heat (it was a very hot day) and he would have to come back to fix it. I arranged an appointment for him to come back the next day and fix it. I waited for two hours and he never arrived or even called me. I called him the next day and he apologized, explaining that he had been on a big job and ended up working until 9 pm. He agreed to come the next day during the same time period. He arrived the next day, a bit later than I had hoped. I would have expected him to be there promptly to make up for his mistake the day before, but he was always very courteous and professional, so I let it slide. I was very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff - with the exception of his failure to follow up after he failed to show. Im sure I would have felt differently if I had actually had to take off from work to wait for the technician to show up three times. Most importantly, his discovery of the leak, which would eventually have burst and caused untold damage to the floor of my attic very possibly saved me thousands of dollars. I would recommend these folks, particularly if you have someone at home who doesnt have to take time off from work to wait for the tech to show up.

My downstairs unit wasnt cooling, and made a big clank sound when shutting off. I called HTown on Tues, Anthony arrived early for appointment on Wednesday. He was thorough, professional & very personable. A truly positive interaction. I needed a new evaporator coil, still under warranty, which was installed Thursday. From A-Z, dealing w/ this company was a pleasure. Highly recommend.

Its not a wonder why this company gets great reviews. Although I did not use their services because the job fell through, they had the most competitive pricing around. They are also very professional and knowledgeable. The service tech they sent out Dimitri, showed up on time, accessed the situation and quickly presented a solution with an estimate. I will certainly use H-Town in the future.

Kevin, the owner, explained the reason, solved the problem and now I need to wear a sweater in the house if I keep the air conditioner on too long. I couldnt be happier!!

Despite the large number of service calls, they were able to accommodate a second-day service request at our required time. They called to warn us that they were running a little behind well in advance, and instead ended up arriving early. The service tech was very knowledgeable, diagnosed the issue quickly, and had the system up and running in nothing flat, even with going to pick up needed parts.Great job, great service, and the rate was about half of what was expected for the type of repair. Highly recommended!

I have worked with other AC companies and was left with the impression that theyre all a bit shady and difficult to work with. I am pleased to share that H-Town AC & Heating Service is different. They performed a full residential system replacement, including ducts. Pricing was competitive and straightforward (and did not change during installation), and their team was fast, professional, clean, and easy to work with in my home, despite the fact that my house proved more difficult than I believe they expected. Following the installation, we had an issue with our new thermostat (component failure--not H-Towns fault), and their sales person/talented technician came back the same day, taking full responsibility for resolving the issue within a few hours. After working with other AC companies in Houston, I cant recommend H-Town enough. Theyre doing a lot right!

I had my attic AC unit leaking. I called and they were able to come the same day. Semeon showed up on time, he was very knowledgeable and repaired the issue on the spot, he did an excellent job. Its the second time I used their services and would definitively recommend them.

We had several contractors comes to our house to give us quotes. Alex was thorough, professional, and his price was the most reasonable. The work, as promised took a day and a half to complete. Alex and his friend showed up on time both days, worked hard and took good care of our home. They were both a pleasure to work with.

Prompt service; came out same day that we called about our furnace needing service. The technician was polite, and explained we needed a new furnace - ours was more than 30 years old. The turnaround time was fantastic; they came out the next day, even arrived early, and installation took only a few hours.Overall they did an excellent job and I will hire again..

We live in a condo and asked that the repair person call us when he arrived so we could provided access to the building and our unit. He called as soon as he arrived so I appreciated the communication from the office to the repair person! Repair person arrived on time, went up to the roof in our condo to check our unit and sure enough it was low on freon. He checked our unit inside our condo to verify all was well, checked the thermostat and remounted it as it was very loose (it was new and not mounted securely). We were good to go! Unfortunately freon is getting more and more costly to use and our unit is quite old and needs more frequent attention so well probably have to purchase a new one in the near future. Until that time, around the clock has helped us keep this old one running! Weve used them several times and have been fortunate to have knowledgeable and efficient repairmen each time. On time, competent, easy to schedule, always have needed equipment. Will use again! Not sure about the exact date of service as Im late entering this review.

This is probably the best service company that I have used. Not only did they answer right away but also came out the same day when it was convenient for me. They were also right on time. The technician Dimitri was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He also showed me what he did and demonstrated the results. He answered all my questions and was very easy to deal with. Pricing is very fair. I was installing a maintenance item that another company recommended during a recent checkup but wanted to upcharge by nearly 200%. I am definitely using H-Town for all my HVAC needs in the future and will recommend them to others as well.

After the freeze my upstairs HVac system wouldn’t turn on. These guys showed up within about an hour of my call! They were super professional and diagnosed numerous issues with my system. Called HTown at 7:44am this morning. They had a team of two Repairmen, here at 10:30am, Billy & Anthony. These guys were GREAT! There were super polite, professional, and ready to work.I initially called a repairman that my family generally uses, but when he told me it was the HVAC motor that would be $847 to replace, I wasnt 100% sold that this was the problem, based on the issues. I wanted a second opinion, so I called HTown.Billy & Anthony were able to come in and determine the problem--which was NOT what was diagnosed before. Not sure if the family HVAC guy was being dishonest or didnt know what he was doing, but my motor was fine. They repaired my HVAC and updated the Nest, in less than 30 minutes. They also informed me even if the motor was the issue, the price quoted was WAY beyond what it shouldve been.I called HTOWN for a second opinion, but from now on, theyll be my FIRST call.

I have a property that I am renting and I had an issue with the ac. Didn’t work. I have a bit history with this ac unit and already spend a lot of money and I was hoping that I am not going to pay much right now. I was calling to h-town and answer a polite person. I was scheduled an appointment and needed to reschedule and that was not an issue. When dimitry the tech come he was not spending time, figure out the problem ( some disconnected wires and some electrical issue) and fix it immediately. The fixing was include in the service call. We had our entire HVAC system shut down (it was VERY OLD) week before last and knew we needed an entire replacement of the furnace and the condenser unit. We had 6 companies out to make bids and HTown was the most reasonably priced. They quotes us on a Friday and came to replace the system on a Saturday morning, They were efficient and knowledgeable, and we appreciated their quick turn! We will use them in the future for our HVAC needs!

April installation of 3.5 ton ac. Service is prompt. Poor resolution of problems. Inspector from the city cited 3 issues. They have not been resolved. Appointments to solve theProblems have not been kept.

Technician arrived less than one hour, quickly figured out the problem and fixed it.Very good experience with this company.

AC was on the fritz in the middle of heat wave. Luckily it started at night and it was around 80. They came the next morning and fixed the broken compressor fan by early afternoon.
