I have not used this company, and after my interaction with the owner on a social media platform where I engage with people to help with animal issues, I was constantly debated by him for not agreeing with his opinions versus my facts. I would not consider using this company as I found this behavior to be very concerning for many reasons to include my perception of being singled out for no reason but for using my voice and knowledge.
I didnt go with them but they wont stop calling me to schedule my maintenance. Its been about 2 years and Im still getting calls. I repeat, Ive NEVER used them. Not once.
Our Nest Thermostat kept saying Cooling starting soon but never actually started cooling down. We called Your Air Conditioning Company to come out and address the problem. Jarrett was dispatched over to our place and spent a few hours diagnosing the mystery problem and starting the repair. It ended up being two separate power supply issues that needed to be addressed (probably some form of power surge that knocked them both out.) He came back the next morning with the new part in hand and got us taken care of. Jarrett was very nice and polite, and was communicative throughout the process and really put the extra hours in to ensure we were taken care of. The Service Manager and office staff were very polite and easy to work with, which is a major bonus to the company. After using a couple different A/C companies, Im thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of Your Air Company. 10/10 would recommend!
I called your air due to an issue with the heater in my home. I was able to be scheduled for same day service and was assigned a technician by the name of Jarrett. He was professional, polite, and arrived on time. He was able to find the problem quickly and was even able to get everything fixed that day. I was warm and cozy in my home by the evening. On Nov. 15, 2023 Your Air , Air conditioning Company assigned Mr. Rudy to come to our home to do a heating tune - up. He arrived on time and was very respectful .Mr. Rudy was thorough with his work and took the time making sure everything was working properly with our conditioning system Mr. Rudy also brought to our attention the issues he found. He was kind enough to offer to change our air filter and did it, thank you.As a customer it is important that every technician checks our AC system well and not come and do a quick inspection because it does bring concerns to me because we take your work for it.I was Very pleased with today’s service and also having a manager speak to us about prices and discounts .Thank you Your Air Conditioning Company and Mr. Rudy🙏🏽
Have a trane system installed by Your Air that slowly this summer of extreme heat seemed to be cooling less and less. I called Your Air and within 24 hours Jed their service guy knocked on my door. I told him the history of the ac unit which was installed 5 years ago and right away he had an idea of what the problem might be! Up in the attic, outside up in the attic, inside, outside never stopping and three hours later the house is cooling down to temperatures that will give me a good nights sleep. So happy. Jed had a great attitude of wanting to please the customer and do the best he could so that there should not be any problems in the future! It was a pleasure having him at the house!!!
Ms. Colleens entire team is Amazing. They make you feel like family. I love the fact that they took the time to explain everything to me. Michael came to the rescue to get my air up and running just in time before my son graduation party. I have been fighting with the warranty company since Wednesday. One Happy Customer and will definitely refer and use them again.
The initial contact was positive and good. The serviceman was kind but it took 4 hours to determine the cause of my ac not cooling properly.. The serviceman was saying it had a few issues but wouldn’t check the Freon levels. When I asked him to check the levels he refused. He had to call his supervisor and manager around 25 times. He couldn’t put Freon in until he got his bosses approval. After going back and forward for an hour they told him to abandon the job. I told him after he put the Freon in he could finish the 4 hour inspection. He started packing up so I then asked if you had put Freon into the AC would the air blow cold air he answered Yes!!!Here is the latest information regarding Your Air Conditioning Company. First of all we have been using this company for over 4 years. They put in a new furnace and some other products as well.We call them on on Thursday 4 days ago. The only thing wrong with the ac was it was not cooling properly. When the serviceman left after he stated he put everything back together the way it was before he started working on it. So I walk inside the house to adjust the temperature on the thermostat well it was blank. So I called the office and asked for him to come back and fixed the issue. They said they would call the serviceman to get him back out, to no avail. So we began calling them 3-4 times a day but the answering machine would pick up. Today is now Monday and we are without air because nothing works. The thermostat, furnace, or the fan on the ac.They never returned our calls all weekend and they were open! They finally called but refused to put it back into working condition like before just because I wanted some Freon put in the system. Like I stated before I have used them for years but there is no professionalism or regard for human kindness. I have a 1 year old baby in the house but they don’t care. Do The Right Thing the first time and then everyone will be happy. Unfortunately not in this case.
Had Michael just hear for a home warranty check. Our systems were working ok but had overflow drain line leaking so wanted someone to take a look before something serious happened. Michael was very professional and precise in his check and checked out everything, even in this overwhelming heat outside and in the attic. He was here for over an hour making sure everything was good and for any issues for the leak. He double checked everything, found the issue in our connections and reinstalled it. Hopefully this will take care of the leak and we won’t have to worry about any issues through this heat.
I really enjoyed my experience with Your Air Conditioning Company. They were the only ones to follow up with me to ensure if I was interested and also provided me a special that I could take advantage of. Oscar, the service professional, was very patient, personable, professional and honest. I appreciate the time he spent to ensure my questions were answered. I felt at ease with him and didnt feel like he was rushing. He built a really good rapport with me as well. He called before arriving at the house and he went over everything on the invoice with me. He didnt try to sell me on things I didnt need, but did provide information on different items that may interest me or that I should be aware of. I will be calling on them again for my AC/Heating needs and will be referring others to them. I advise you to do the same.
Kaleb came by to do a check up on my HVAC as part of my yearly membership. He is friendly and courteous. I appreciate that the technicians take pictures and show me what is happening in the attic. They also ask for brooms to clean up after themselves since a little debris falls on the floor when they head up to the attic.I only removed one star for tardiness, which I think has more to do with how the company schedules and dispatches its workers, so it isnt Kalebs fault. My appointment window was 1-5:00. I sat at home all afternoon (and even called to check at 4:30). At 5:15 Kaleb arrived. His service lasted until 7:50.My AC was installed last year by Your Air and is running well. It just needs some cleaning and I want to install a new return grill. All in all, the service is good, and the products are good. The timing needs work.
Eddie did a great job doing our seasonal maintenance on the air conditioning system. We were happy to renew our annual membership, which gave us a nice discount on the service on cleaning the blower in the attic.

We found out that our air conditioning unit had gone out on a Friday evening after hours in July. The team at Your Air Conditioning Service was phenomenal. The office consultant was knowledgeable and advised us into a short-term solution and they had a technician to us within an hour. The technician (Clint) did a wonderful job of trouble-shooting and fixing our problem. He also walked us through general maintenance for the unit. My wife and I were very worried what the bottom line price was going to be for an emergency after hours call but the bill was very reasonable.Working with this company was a great experience and they have been added to my phone contacts for any needs we have in the future.
I’m usually not one to leave a review, but my experience with Your Air Conditioning Company has been less than I’d have liked over time, enough to leave this one. Many years ago, maybe around 2014-2015, Your Air assumed the customer base for a defunct company, Pleasant Valley Air. PV had replaced the entire HVAC in my house in 2012. Your Air continued to honor a service warranty I had with PV for a couple of years until the owner, “Joe” (last name ????) discontinued this. I continued with 2x / year maintenance checks, and almost each one having a solicitation or recommendation for service or repair, often not needed.Most recently, I had a seasonal maintenance visit, from which several services were suggested - including and notably, main drain line flushing (a typical service, and clearly necessary since the secondary/overflow was dripping), and another service which I declined. A total estimate was provided and agreed to, the work performed, and paid for. Over the next 3 days, I could see the secondary drain line still draining, so I called to report this. A tech came to the house and ascertained that the main drain HAD NOT been purged, and then he did it himself with me observing. All good until he presented me with a service call invoice. On questioning this with Your Air on the phone, I was told this was for the tech’s time. Since I had paid in full for this work already, I challenged this. A call to “Joe” resulted in dismissing this charge, but I was stunned at the unwillingness to stand by their work just performed and to somehow justify an additional payment for work purportedly done and paid for 3 days prior.FINALLY, I received 3 phone calls this week from someone at Your Air canvassing for customers, to offer me a special price on the seasonal system check-out I just had. I politely told her that she perhaps might have known before calling, that me as an existing customer just had this service performed. Moments later, perhaps not realizing, she called me again, which I pointed out. Rather than apologizing or making the moment less awkward, she simply hung up on me. Then, I got another call a day later from the same person soliciting me for the additional service beyond the seasonal check, I had previously declined. Again, no acknowledgement of the previous calls. I asked her to please not call me again. She hung on me again.I called the main office to speak to “Joe” about all of this. The best I got was to leave a message for him to call me back.So, with all of that, I am DISSATISFIED and would not recommend this company for their residential HVAC service needs. Often, questionable at times in work quality and customer service. They get 1 star for my willingness to hope for better over time. Now, I’m a former customer.

If you call these people, coat your backside with vaseline, because theyre gonna stick it to you!I called to have a $20 capacitor replaced in my condenser unit. That normally costs me $150-$175 or so. But, Jed the technician started upselling as soon as he arrived. A UV system in the attic unit, surge protection, and their $199/yr membership that discounts any parts. OK, fine, but what about the $20 capacitor?We dont sell the brand you have. We sell the Turbo 200X with a 5 year warranty. I looked online. It costs $100. Fine. Houston heat kills them, so the next one will be free. But, he said if I dont get the surge protectors, the warranty doesnt apply.He discovered the contactor switch that sells for $20 needs replacing. Fine.Now I get the estimate, and the $100 capacitor and the $20 contactor are both priced at $453!! And the two surge protectors that can be bought for $70 each were also $453 each!So, his supervisor is on the phone explaining everything, and when I questioned the prices, he says, Well, I have to make money somehow.So, I ordered a capacitor and contactor from Amazon for $50, spent a night in a hotel, and changed out the two parts myself.STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!
The Rep Cold called me, (Christine) she offered AC & Heating maintenance at $69 if I would book nxt day I would get $10 off. I told her I work 12hr days and asked ifI could get the discount on my following day off. She promised to ask mgnt & call bk. She never called bk on on the Appt. day scheduled I wasnt anticipating a Rep to come to the home because nobody called back, no call before the appt and we had Unfinished business. A tech came to the house Outside of the window of time Again No communication before & I told him I wasnt sure if we had a c/f app. I also indicated if he called office & let them know of Customers concerns, I would Still be willing at Discounted price. I was DENIED. I told the tech Id pass on the service because it was Unprofessionally handled. I didnt like Poor Communication or No communication. I was told the Owner was Joe and I called to ask for him but he lives out of State. I told the lady in the office I wasnt pleased & why didnt She handle the situation before tech lft the premises. Anyway Never got any offer to return at discounted rate or any customer satisfaction. I only hope owner reads this review
Excellent Technician and companyWe were referred to this company when our old one went out of business and they have been great. It just so happened that the first technician that came out to our house was also the one we like from the previous company. From Erin who answers the phone and sets the appointment time to the technician Jason, they are very prompt and courteous. They explain everything in detail and answer any questions you might have. Would definitely reccomend them to anyone.They have a very affordable monthly maintenance plan.
Purchased a unit from this company several years ago. Had their customer care plan. Was not notified about renewing the plan when it expired or about an A/C tune-up before summer. I called them three weeks ago about my unit continuously running. Had two appointments cancelled as there were not techs available and it was suggested that I contact a company closer to where I live, rather than wait for a tech from the company I purchased the unit from. Suspect if the customers care plan was updated, a tech would have been available.
We called Your Air due to our A/C not working. We were told that the unit was frozen and due to this they were unable to do anything on Saturday April 6, 2019. They were paid for the consult. On Monday April 8, 2019 they replaced the blower wheel motor and installed 5 lbs of R22, and replaced a time delay switch. This took 2 days to get done which we were told it would take one day. We were charged over 14 hundred dollars after we complained of the pricey invoice which we paid in full. We though the A/C was fixed. Nope...we called them again and told them that the A/C wasnt working. On April 30, 2019 another tech came out and stated that the system was low on R22 because it has a major refrigerant leak in the condenser coil and it was unrepairable. REALLY!! Are you serious!! The technician stated that he would get with the owner in regards of a refund since the major leak was obvious per the lbs of R22 that was installed in my unit. I called a different A/C company and they repaired the major leak on the condenser coil of my a/c. This repair was done within the hour. We called the owner of Your Air Joe Cunningham and explained to him that they should have known that the unit had a major leak since they installed 5 lbs of R22. He stated that he will get back to us since he had to speak with the technician. I reminded him of the refund, which he then repeated I will get back to you. We have yet have to hear from the owner, and we still did not receive any type of refund.

We’ve been using Your Air for two years now and always have had great service. We had them install a new AC system and purchased the maintenance membership. The harsh Houston climate takes a toll on our system but Your Air has always made it out within hours of our initial call. Johnathan is prompt, courteous, and professional. One of the main reasons why we will continue to use Your Air is because they proved to be one of the most ethical AC companies in Houston. They don’t try to over sell the customer. I trust and highly recommend using Your Air.
I was introduced to Your Air via CenterPoints FREE cool-saver a/c tune up. I was totally skeptical and thought this was just going to be a bs visit. I was wrong. My system is running like new (cleaned coils and a few other things). The technician was very nice - showed me pics of what needed to be fixed. Didnt try to sell me a new system or anything else that I did not need. He was great and I totally expect to call Your Air when were ready to upgrade our system. Keep up the good work, guys!

I recently moved away from Houston, and was a bit troubled by the decision because my mom is getting older and I worry about her! When I got the call from her that her HVAC had gone out in December of all times, my nightmare had come true... I called Your Air Co after hours and Colleen and Oscar were EXTREMELY helpful, immediately responding with an emergency repair. When I got the bill, I was surprised by how affordable such a quality service can be. I seriously can’t thank them enough!
Jim H did my service and did an exceptional job of explaining everything, showing me all the items he was working with, and discussing how to handle it in the future. I asked him about my dehumidifier and said it did not appear to be working correctly. He looked at it and found that whoever worked on the cable the last time had left it unplugged in the attic. I appreciate his help in solving that problem. I have recommended Your A/C to several of my friends.

Owner Joe Cunningham knows his business and more important a man of his word. Joe told me he will not work on my air conditioning problem unless it was done the right way. Your Air took over my contract when another company went out of business. Their staff is very knowledgeable and takes their time in repairing the units. They check everything upstairs in attic, outside, and thermostats. They just dont find one problem, fix it and leave so you have to call them back. Their staff is also very friendly and courteous and clean up after themselves.
Ive been with Your Air Conditioning Co. for a few years now and every time Ive had any interaction with them they have been the utmost professionals. Leah in the office was very helpful in setting up my appointment and the technician Rodney took the time to inspect the AC units from top to bottom. I could not ask for a better team to look after my AC units. At the end of the inspection Rodney gave me suggestions on what should be done to keep my units running like new. No pressure just suggestions.This Co. is #1 in my book.

Kaleb was a really nice guy. I am not the customer, its actually my girlfriend who couldnt leave a 2nd review. The only issue is the time it took to finish. Kaleb came here from the SW side to the near Spring area. He took it upon himself to come here first, so that part, I felt was good cust service. However, the scheduling couldve been better. He had to come by, then go get the grill for the vent. I understand why he had to, but he shpudlhave been scheduled for a job on the sw side, then north. The window was 1-4, so traffic got him here at 4:05. Scheduling employees better would get a 5star for sure. Kaleb was great though.

He was thorough, as usual, and friendly as always.Roger made a detailed inspection of my systems to determine what I would need to do to transition to beyond R-22 coolant. He then gave me the best briefing on air conditioning that Ive ever heard. Now I know my options. Replace one system. Possible upgrade or replace the other. At this time I am considering my options. I rarely write reviews, however my experience with Your A/C Company is one to share. Newly moved to TX in 2016, didnt know anyone and was looking for an honest company who wouldnt take advantage of my situation. I needed Freon in my a/c unit - that was all I wanted. They charged over market value for freon, and attempted to get me to use some $1000 sealant to seal the unit. After calling other companies, I was unable to find any to recommend such sealant due to its lack of guarantee. Im very disappointed with Your Air Conditioning Company. Not only will I never use them again, I would not recommend anyone else use them either. Its unfortunate being new to a city and have someone overcharge and recommend services that simply are not necessary. Not to mention the calls from their customer service agents recommending services and pointless repairs. Thankfully I found another company with honest technicians, fair market value pricing to take care of my air conditioning needs.

Amazing AC company! They are quick, thorough and most importantly they truly care about their customers. Their staff has gone above and beyond for my family. I will recommend them to everyone! Their 24 hour phone service is beyond helpful When your ac decides to go out in the middle of the night.
A company known for their transitional phrases; to trick the customer in more unnecessary out of pocket expenses. Be careful when choosing a company to come to your home. The bigger companies (franchise) will always do background checks and drug screenings on all their applicants. They have the funds to make sure every employee has been checked out thoroughly. Unlike smaller Mom & Pop business which may not fork out the $$s to check their employees without cause. Your Air does not run Background checks on their employees (truthful knowledge from a previous employee). We are always looking to save a buck, if we are told that our AC system can be fixed with a couple of parts then we feel relieved in the sense that our Out of Pocket expense will be minimum (thats what we think). We are usually given a choice to repair/replace parts or buy a new unit: EXP; New Condenser. Dont be fooled by that Savings you think you are making when choosing the part replacement. What they fail to tell you is what caused the part to fail in the first place which will continue to happen again and again. after a few times back out to your home (more $$ out of your pocket) you are now told you need to replace the unit. This means you spent more money (in smaller fractions) then you would have if you had just bought a new outside condenser in the first place. However; the known fact of NO Background checks and drug screening on employees is enough information I need to know to make a wiser decision on whom I would call to have any services needed in my home. My families safety matters more to me than saving a few bucks.
Hello,My company CLB Collision located on the North side of Houston called Your Air Conditioning and Heating 1/15/2013 to service our heaters for an upcoming hard freeze. They charged me an initial fee of $198.00 to do a system diagnosis and see what we needed to become compliant because we had a new gas meter installed on our facility.The first gentleman who came out said that he would do the diagnostics, and get back with us. He did estimate, never left us with a the cost of what it would be to fixed our heaters. The next day, another tech from this company came to us and said it would be an additional $650.00 to just put our units in so called compliance and that was not to include servicing our heaters to make them operational. I was livid when I and my partner found this out. The owner Roger, called me and came by my shop saying that he needed the balance of the monies own form the estimate ($650.00). He then told me that he would do what he could in order to get our furnaces in operating order. He said that he needed some parts and he would return to continue the process of servicing our heaters.Then Roger told me that he had not worked on these heaters before. I asked him if he could do it. He assured me that he could. Several techs after that came out to our facility to assist in the servicing of our units. They could not get out units wired, or going. In fact, Roger called a man he actually works on the type of furnaces that we have. He came out and said that the heaters needed a control valve and other things.He told me that he relayed the message of what he found to Roger and more techs came out to our facility again. They could not fix them. Roger told me to get 2 new thermostats from Home Depot, and he would send a tech to come out and install them. He told me a price of somewhere around $200 (more or less) to install them. The tech came out, and installed them and a transformer that was need. Yet the heaters still did not work. The tech came into my office and told me that (He was very sorry, he could not fix my heaters). Roger call me back and said that the tech told him that since my heaters so so old and hard to get parts for we needed to look at installing new heaters. Roger told me that the tech said we one furnace needed ( Heat exchangers, fan motors, control valves).It would be better to just install new heaters. He gave me a price of around $1700 per unit and that should do the trick to get my shop some heat.I was doing some snooping myself and I went and turned on one of the new thermostats and walked away. When I returned, the fan motor was blowing! I said I have been lied to.I made some calls and I was referred to another Company, (Master Mechanical Contractors, Spring Texas). The tech came out, and said all that was wrong with both heaters was that the pilot assemblies needed to be pulled out and cleaned. He blew out both units, cleaned both pilots and turned on the gas. Both units fired up and are work working properly for less that $400.I am going to the Lic board of Texas and the BBB to file a complaint for bad service, poor diagnostics and flat out lies about our heater.Being a local business owner as well in this community who serves the public, I will never refer anyone to Your Air Conditioning.Warren GriffinCLB Collision Inc.
We are going to sue this company. This company is a absolute rip off. They were supposed to clear a line of water from buildup in our unit since water was gushing out of our unit. Instead of the service guy using a vacuum to take out the clog, he pushed the clogged gunk further into the pipe and caused a huge leak in our attic as a result. This is after he spoke to our plumber! The damage now is over 1000 dollars and the owner is saying its our plumbers fault which is obviously not the case.

I Have been a contracted customer with Your Air since you took over from Pheasant Valley, whom I was with since 2006, I have a issue with my A/C, I called to get a technician out to fix it, (simple fix) to be told that I cannot get anyone to look at my system until next week???? What am I paying my club care membership for, to be told to look for another company? This is extremely poor business sense.

Juan was great, I love Your Air. They are just a tad bit pricey. Some of the services they recommend you can get with other companies much cheaper. Other than that they are wonderful.

They removed my blower fan and didnt put it back. Put it back myself after 2 days of noticing reduced air flow.

They did not do well with my a condition they dont return phone calls they worked on my a condition last year and I had a leak and they did not fix it I have to I had to have someone else come back and repair the same thing 2014-2015 they are not a good company I am NOT happy with this service at all
