Initially felt like the quote was more than I expected but we were in a desperate situation. It was worth every penny. The men were very professional and left our a/c and duct work sparkling clean and smelling fresh. They went above and beyond in my opinion. They even washed and repainted my registers. We were having a severe odor problem and they sanitized our unit after cleaning it. I would give them 5 stars and recommend them without hesitation.

Very organized, methodical and thorough. Covered all the furniture carefully. One guy worked the vents, the other guy the attic ducts. Did a great job. I had some mold coming through my air vents. I scheduled an inspection and Joshua took pictures and explained everything with detail. I received the quote and he gave me time to evaluate everything. I scheduled the duct cleaning and mold remediation. The team was efficient. They also provide pictures of the after. Would recommend for duct services.

Didnt like the rep David with pushy attitude but my fault for not getting additional quotes. Told I will recieve before and after pictures. Nope. Just a text with 6 pictures. No info no report not even a thank you. The intake was never cleaned. Funny enough after paying $1925.00, Im now vacuuming it out myself. On a positive note, the guys who came to do the work were professional and nice unlike the rep after he collected the deposit . Im convinced these reviews were paid for. My recommendation get another company.

Air quality express came out and gave me a quote and the quote was great! Then they came out and went above and beyond in my opinion. They got all the ducks and mold cleaned out and added extra protection to keep the mold from coming back. I would definitely suggest them if you have a mold problem in your ventilation system!

They clearly focus on receiving positive reviews when work hasnt met original expectations.----------Original Review 2 StarsCharged $2,400 to clean up some mold around a/c vents, and clean clothes dryer vent.They did come and clean a bunch of things, and sprayed some chemicals, and painted over the mold spots. They ran fan/filter boxes for a few hours while working, and vacuumed a variety of things.Service was today, so I cant speak to if mold comes back, or if clothes dryer functions properly, but, I do know that a/c returns were not all cleaned ( they did 1, other 2 have some dust on them) and I know they didnt re-seal duct plenum in my attic, and some of the dryer vent clog lint was just left in the attic floor.People were friendly, but I have strong questions about the value for the very high price.

Our dryer was not drying quite right. Called the company and the technician they sent was Sky. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. The cleaning of the ducts is making a great difference on how my dryer works now. Definitely will call again in the future.

We requested to have 2 of the top rated companies assess our mold and give us estimates on their remediation process. Air Quality Express was requested after but came in even quicker time. They scheduled almost instantly as followed up right away to confirm address and kept constant communication for when they’d be there. Quote was given within minutes or walking out our front door. They were professional and communicated thoroughly from the start to finish. Informative of the process and exceeded expectations. Competing company was the exact opposite took longer to come out didn’t seem to truly care and that alone steered us to go with these guys. David and his team came to do a professional inspection on my house. They found mold in the plenum and vents of the AC. They are very professional in removing the mold and dust. When the technician showed me how much mold it has accumulated inside and spreader around already, it was horrific. Luckily they told me everything can be cleaned and repaired. After 3 hours, the house is clean and no more mold!The technician Sky and his team are very good and patient with new house owners, and they did a good job on explaining what needs to be done. Giving honest opinion and they don’t push me into buying anything. I have severe allergies to mold that makes my eyes swell up and itch. As soon as the team was out next morning my symptoms were totally gone. The increase to my quality of living is what made me have to post a review.

My elderly dads home has leaking vents and subsequent mold. I was planning to have it fixed for him. I had Air Quality Express come out and assess the situation and give me a quote for (an astounding) $15k, but in my desperation to have this fixed as quickly as possible, and because I am a single mom with a very busy work schedule, and no extra time to go back and forth with companies, I scheduled the work, and submitted a $3k down payment. Upon telling my dad (the homeowner) he said that was way too much and that he refused to let me have this wok done with this company. I called immediately and let them know the situation, and that I am not the homeowner, so I cant have this work done without his permission, and they are refusing to refund my $3k down payment. I just signed the contract 5 days ago, and no work has been performed. Again, I am a single mom, trying to help my widowed, elderly father, who is not in good health, and I do not have an extra $3k to give to this company for no work. I am disappointed that they are choosing to exploit me in this already difficult, expensive, and dangerous situation.

Sky from Air Quality Express came and completed a full system cleaning for both our upstairs and downstairs AC systems, as well as installing a new Solar Attic Vent Fan to help reduce the temperature in our attic space. Professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. We bought an older home and the previous owner never had the AC or vents cleaned, therefore it was pretty bad. The team was quick to take care of it and based on the photos they sent, we are free of mold and have clean dryer vents.

Updated review: I had Air Quality Express come out to clean our entire AC system due to moisture/mold build up a little over a month ago. The team completed the job in a timely manner. A few weeks later I noticed an issue with the sealing of one of the ducts. I contacted the company and eventually my complaint was forwarded to the owner. Technicians arrived early, got right to work and did a very capable and complete job. Our Dryer Vent had an obstruction (cleaning brush that came detached when I was trying to clean the vent). They got it out, finished cleaning the vent completely, reconnected the flex hose fro the Dryer, recaulked the vanes on the outside wall and cleaned up thoroughly. All good!

One of the worst service I have received.They never cleaned my Drier Vent and charged me $100.00. When I called them they said you took basic service. They were being technical. It a very dishonest entity. They do all the big promise and provide Zero Service.

I had mold under kitchen sink/island. Called Air Quality Express. Rep came out per appointment time, assessed, confirmed presence of mold, outlined a plan and came with crew to clean/remove and remediate. Supervisor Josh was professional and efficient. Mold (and associated smell) gone.

I forgot that I wrote an initial review for an HVAC service (which I later discovered was not in fact a good job) when I was pulling up the company to show a co-worker who NOT to use for mold remediation. I have seen this company listed recently in best of categories, and I in good conscience felt the need to make potential customers aware of the issues with this company from my experience.Firstly, they failed to follow Texas state mold remediation protocol (which I was unaware of at the time). I had initially requested them out to perform a mold inspection (air testing, visual inspection, etc.) and not necessarily remediation. In TX, inspectors can NOT be the same company that performs the remediation due to obvious conflict of interest. The representative from Air Quality Express, without performing normal inspection procedures (which I had to have actually done later by a different company), then proceeded to quote me for work to start tearing out a part of my bathroom. The price seemed high, but I wanted to get it over with and they commenced.Secondly, they were extortive on pricing. As they were performing work, which again, they were not supposed to be doing, they said that the problem was bigger and that they needed to tear out almost the entirety of the bathroom and charged $16k for the additional work (for a small guest bathroom), but they had already had walls opened up and there didnt seem like another option at the time given that the work was in progress. I was later quoted by a different company for a much broader scope of work only $3k.Thirdly, they were negligent. They destroyed cabinets (which they did not need to do) which were a significant expense to re-install. The protective boundary (plastic sheets to keep area contained) fell multiple times, and the company was unresponsive after hours to come fix it (despite advertised 24 hour service), leaving our bedroom exposed. The entire fiasco cost us a fortune to ultimately remedy. Weve thought about lawsuits but were in the middle of wedding planning and didnt have the energy to go through with it.In summary, they broke the law, overcharged, and did not even provide a good service. Stay away at all costs.

The guys did an ok job except that I found paint on multiple spots on my floor from the vent covers. After they cleaned the covers they painted them. They did not let the paint dry enough before putting them back on. When the ac was turned back on it blew wet paint onto my floor and now I have to scrape it off. Not too happy about that

My 5-star experience started from my initial quote request all the way through the service and follow-up. I was looking for a company to do air duct/system and dryer vent cleaning and requested an estimate online. Within 30 minutes of submitting the request for a quote, I was contacted by the office and they were able to send someone out same day to do the initial inspection. The technician was very polite, professional and knowledgeable, talking me through the suggested work and the benefits of getting it all done. Approving the estimate and scheduling the work was quick and easy. On the day of the service, the crew arrived on time and quickly got to work. They took care to protect my belongings and cleaned up after themselves. This service should make a great difference to the air quality in my home. The results are very good and I am enjoying them. Work was well finished. There were some miscalculations in the original quote. The miscalculations are about the time it would take. It did not take one day, it took two. No big deal.

I’ve hired Air Quality Express to fix the cleaning work that’s was poorly executed by another air duct cleaning company. Air Quality Express David and crew arrived on time and did a thorough clean of the entire system including processionally sealing of every duct to the system that were opened to be cleaned. The whole entire system was sanitized and all the mold was removed. Before cleaning the vents, they took time in prepping every room carefully with plastic sheet to minimize dust from getting into our stuff in the room. Their brush is equipped with a vacuum system which can stop any crap in vents from spreading into the room. I personally did a walk through check and saw they have done a top notch work. I’ll definitely hire them again for my HVAC maintenance and cleaning in future.

I had air quality express come clean my air ducts and main unit at the end of February. My AC company just notified me that there is already a large amount of mold regrowth. Upon seeing the photo, there is more mold than originally found in February. I am now having to repay my AC company to remove this, however, it is a fraction of the cost that air quality charged. Very disappointed for it only having been 3 months and they claim a one year warranty from mold regrowth.

Ive used the company in the past at my prior home and was impressed back then but their quality has definitely slipped over the years. There was dust and debris left behind in some spots which I had to vacuum and I also had to remind the crew that registers needed cleaning along with condensation drip pans, dryer vent, etc. The time spent in the attic to clean the ducts was very little so Im not sure all ducts were even fully cleaned. When I went to connect my dryer the following day, the vent still had a bunch of dirt. Spending over $2000 is a lot for work Im not even sure was fully done or would have been done if I wasnt watching over the crew.

Our grandson is highly allergic to mold. The before and after pictures of his eyes after having our AC and ducts cleaned are telling.June 6, he shared how badly his eyes itched while visiting our house.June 15, the day after remediation, he was excited as he left, saying, “my eyes don’t itch” !!

I found this service through yelp. They were quickest to respond and were able to come out to look at my apt earlier than others. The technician that showed up to Inspect I believe was Judah the business owner. He was very thorough and walked me through what could be cleaned and how. The pricing was easy to understand and I thought was reasonable.The crew was able to show up the next day to do the work and finished quickly within a couple of hours. David was the lead of the work day crew. He had one assist with him. They completed the cleanup and the proof was when I entered the apartment and no longer smelled heavy cooking grease smell. Found this business on Thumbtack for HVAC duct cleaning. They postponed my first appointment at the very end of the arrival window after I took off work to be home. They waived the inspection fee, but they do that anyway if you use their service, so zero compensation for taking a wasted day off. For second appointment a few days later I was told they would start immediately after evaluation. Nope, just sales guy showed up; cleaning crew didn’t come for three more hours. No one on site during job spoke English, so I couldn’t ask questions. They had to borrow my ladder because they didn’t have the correct one for the job. They did a good job covering furniture with plastic, but still left a mess on the floor of several rooms. I was charged significantly more than comparable jobs they listed on Thumbtack. Then I was promised pics of the “after” my duct mold was cleaned, but the non-English speaking cleaning crew just asked for a check and I think maybe they said someone would send me pics later. But they spray kilz paint inside registers, so how do I know whether I really got the cleaning I paid for?!

Charged me 2000 dollars to disinfect all my AC and vents and then the problem came back less than a year. They wanted another 2000 dollars to rectify it because the issue was not correctly diagnosed the first time by them. Also they ripped by vent open during inspection and never told me.

For example, we recently installed a new AC coil in our attic recently. Air Quality express noticed that whoever installed the coil did not seal it correctly and corrected the issue for us. My parents home is 30+ years old and the air in the home was so stuffy. I found this company on Yelp and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service. Ran the technician came out on a Wednesday, and took pictures in the attic of the air ducts and all the vents. He was so professional and nice and explained everything in great detail to my understanding. The team returned on Friday very promptly and started working. They were very professional and mindful of our home. After completing the job they vacuumed all the areas they were in, which was a nice touch. Overall I was very pleased and noticed a difference as soon as they were done.

We used Air Quality Express to do a complete attic restoration after a rat infestation. Judah oversaw the project. He listened to everything I had to say about what the attic had been through and then did a thorough investigation and then clearly presented what he thought should be done to clean and restore the area.We were out of town when Judah, Sky, and their team did the weeks worth of work. I asked that they communicate via text when we were away, and that was not a problem. They took great care and ownership of the project and left our house spotless when the work was completed. Per my request, they added on a service to clean each item that was in the attic during the infestation before it went back in. We ended up with new insulation, and new duct work, as well as the added benefit of an overall refresh after years of lingering rat residue and contamination.The office is very responsive and respectful as well. I used this company today 11-30-22. . Evidently the air ducts had not been cleaned for a very long time. I had technicians Kevin & Carlos do the work. They did an excellent job. Covered all countertop beds & furniture. Removed all ducts, vacuumed inside duct and wash vents before replacing. . They did a very thorough job up in the attic also. Then cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely use this company again & will request Kevin & Carlos to come back.

One of the most responsive, efficient and impressive companies I have ever dealt with. Judah assessed the work and gave us the estimate. Ran was our technician and he absolutely went above and beyond. He came out to inspect HVAC ducts and also our dryer vent which extends through our attic with a blower fan. The HVAC ducts were in good shape so we did not need to have those cleaned but the dryer vent and pipes needed to be cleaned out for sure. When he was completed with cleaning the dryer vent and vent pipes we noticed an air pressure tube sensor for the blower fan was never installed properly from the home builder! That is a very bad fire hazard due to the length of vent pipes and elbow bends from the dryer through the attic and out the roof. But Ran came back to be a hero and help us properly install the tube sensor. It wasn’t even his fault! He came back to help us with the problem. He went above and beyond and it is very much appreciated.

I have had Air Quality Express, LLC clean my dryer vents three times annually. The first time they found that my dryer vent had detached in my attic and dryer lint was everywhere. They cleaned and it made the repairs. They offer a warranty if they come annually to clean the vents. The second time they came, the same issue happened and they honored their warranty and made the repair without additional cost other than the dryer vent annual service charge. This time, there was no additional repair needed and David and his helper cleaned out the vents quickly. They are always professional, on time and thorough. I highly recommend Air Quality Express for dryer vent cleaning services and warranty.

In general, I was pleased about my service by Air Quality Express. They did some attic cleanup for me which was great. They also did some mold remediation work, which in general was very good. The only things I wasnt happy about with the mold remediation was that the billing wasnt set up the way I expected (not a unit price per square foot), and two of my doors were thrown out without consulting me, so I found out after the fact, which was a little frustrating. Having said that, Im extremely confident that the mold remediation was done scientifically and professionally.

After being months of me feeling sick and constantly going to the doctor with no solution, I decided to check my vents to see if there was a possible dust that was stuck in the vents! To my surprise I found not only dust but mold. I contacted the company to request an appointment, and was worried they’d tell me no because of how far I lived, but they not only agreed but were early! When Ran did the walk through of the house he had pointed out a variety of locations within my AC unit that was covered in mold. He went over the options of services I could do, and recommended the best treatment for the mold issue, depending on how often I was planning on getting my vents checked.I liked that Ran was able to answer all my questions because I wasn’t sure how all this mold could have build up, but then He informed me that my thermostat should read no more than 60% humidity, while mine was reading 74%! (keep an eye out on your humidity levels!) Expect your AC to be turned off so it might get hot if it’s a sunny day! But they worked efficiently and quick, and constantly kept me updated with pictures of pictures of the cleaning process! super happy with the work knowing I can now sleep without worrying about mold in my vents!

We had a problem with air ducts needing cleaning in our home. We secured quotes with inspections from several vendors for the work. Air Quality Express produced the best competitive quote. Be advised they completed the work quickly and thoroughly. We are completely satisfied with their work and recommend them to anyone needing this work done in their home.

Sky and his team came out to do a full attic restoration with new insulation as well as new ductwork. They arrived on time, completed the job in one day, and Sky went above and beyond offering to help find a solution for our old attic access ladder. We are glad we used this service to make our historic home healthier and more efficient.

Recently hired them to address mold buildup in our air ducts and HVAC (kill, clean, treat, preventative), which wed had performed a couple years ago for about $750 with another company. They appeared to do a great job of removal and provided before and after photos which reflected much cleaner air ducts and HVAC components with no mold. They even sealed the corners of the unit with a sealant (although I question what happens if unit needs to be opened for repair).Id give a 4.5 rating for the work performed however the experience with pricing and how handled reduces the rating a bit. We were initially verbally informed that it would be $1,600 which we thought was really high but we were concerned with the mold buildup and they seemed to know their stuff so bit the bullet. Then we were informed that it would be $1,600 per unit (we have 2 story home) meaning $3,500 total. That took us back quite a bit but the work was done and wed authorized it. And I was a bit disappointed that this didnt include a mold test after their mold removal and clean up for a separate price. Told another technician would have to do mold test, however would still be charged for it.THEN we were asked to pay cash or check once everything was complete to which we refused as we prefer using CC for additional protection and any business that insists on cash/check tends to make us nervous. They accepted the CC payment but THEN suggested we need to pay another 4% for using a CC to which we refused as we were not informed of that prior to work being done, which they ultimately processed w/o the fee. The process of payment and the amount charged we were not very happy with but the work they performed appears to be great work. They do provide a 3 year warranty, that we pray is honored as I just recently saw a complaint on BBB website stating they did not honor their 3-year warranty. We will use them for annual cleaning to see how things go and to ensure we keep our warranty (we were told we have to do the $200 annual cleaning to keep the 3 year warranty valid). Definitely a little buyers remorse due to potential price gouging/payment process; happy with the result; and sanguinely hopeful that it pans out well.All in all they do decent work from what I can tell. The other matters one would just have to get comfortable with...UPDATE REVIEW: They indeed DID NOT Honor their warranty. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Just our experience--which happens to be similar to others that have written reviews. Hope anyone that uses them has a better experience than us. HUGE MISTAKE on our part going with them and allowing the price gouging and questionable tactics they utilize.

Very unprofessional technician. Very overpriced. Seemed to be overcharging after Houston has freeze, and taking advantage of people who had flooding in their houses. They also called us after only three days saying them were coming to get the equipment, after telling us that we had to have it for 5-6 days minimum. Tried to charge us $750 to have a single dehumidifier in our house for 5 days. Will never work with this company again. Terrible experience.Edit, 2/28Your technician did not even cut out the damaged drywall or pull back the baseboards. Then he lied about completing the sanitation. You called that a miscommunication. When we were called saying the equipment was needing to be picked up early, you also called that a miscommunication. We only had the equipment for 7 days because your technician didnt contact us on Saturday to pick it up, and then on Sunday, when he did call, he demanded I be home in 20 minutes to get the equipment, I was working. Which I explained to him. He proceeded to tell me that we were costing him money, and he had other customers. I called the manager, and he said well his English is not great. Speaking great English has nothing to do with not acting rudely and not competing a job your were hired to do. We agreed to have a different technician come to pick the equipment up that evening, because I was not letting him back in my house. They did not show up in the assigned time, and we had to run errands. My husband called and spoke to the manager, and told him they would have to come the following day. The technicians that arrived the next day told us that the work that was supposed to have been done, like the drywall and baseboards, was something the original technician should have completed the first day. We feel 100% ripped off and taken advantage of. The manager even texted me after the original review stating that I was being unfair. $1,200 for incomplete work is what is unfair.

Needed a full dryer vent repair since the tube in the wall was cracked and the outside had a thick foam over the vent. We had just moved in and it hadn’t been addressed properly and was clearly a fire hazard. The guys who came viewed the issue and had to run to Home Depot for a part, but once they got it, they completed the job quickly and made sure everything was working well before leaving.

Had Ran and the Air quality team over to do the air and dryer ducts and honestly could not be happier with the service. Not only do they do a great job, but Ran also takes time explaining exactly what they are doing so youre never left out of the loop. Theyre punctuality and professionalism are second to none. Would recommend to anyone looking to get the ducts cleaned!!

Sky was here, I was amazed at how fast they worked and how clean they kept the house after they were done. They completed the work very fast and were reasonable with the price. We found rodents feces in attic and asked them to come replace insulation. They told me they will replace insulation and do excursion to avoid rodents coming in again. We chose them to do the service in August and found rodents feces again in the garage in December. I called back and the technician no longer works there. The receptionist told me we didn’t pay for rodent proofing which is a separate service, they never told me in front. We have to pay another one to get the work done. Receptionist is rude manner. The manager proactively communicated with us after the experience. They did try to fix the problem for us. Comments adjusted

Contacted Air Quality Express LLC on a holiday (Thanksgiving) through the Thumbtack app and they were so quick to respond and even more accommodating that within a couple hours Ran B showed up to inspect the mold and gave a breakdown with photographs of what we were dealing with in our home. Priced the inspection and treatment in great detail with a discount. Highly professional and within 3 hours the work was completed and our place was spotless. Air feels cleaner. Absolutely impressed with Ran B and Air Quality Express LLC.

My experience started with asking the inspector to kindly put on shoe coverings before entering my house, he seemed a bit irritated that I asked, although he did put them on. The gentleman who inspected was a little bit dismissive of my mold concerns in the attic at first. He only did a visual inspection and came to the conclusion I did not have a mold problem. I asked him how and where mold problems typically presented and he went on to say it is problematic inside the HVAC, mold on walls, in wood, sheet rock, etc. I asked him if he checked the HVAC, he had not. So I asked him to go back up and inspect, low and behold he found mold inside the HVAC. He went on to detail the $2175 worth of remediation work they recommended. Compared to other mold remediation providers I fielded, the remediation work was the most extensive and expensive. He was somewhat impatient about my questions and for all these reasons I did not ultimately use them for the mold remediation service.

Air Quality Express cleaned my less than year old A/C and ducts for $2650 in February. They did not reconnect one of the ducts at all so now I have a mold problem.
