COIT Cleaning and Restoration of Houston

Service people were nice and Im glad they werent hurt but now I have to deal with a hole in my ceiling! Im not sure I would ever use Coit again. I hope you fix it fast and properly otherwise I will become even more angry.

COIT Cleaning was extremely responsive to our request for service to clean our air ducts which had not been done for decades!Cost was very reasonable.Representative was very personable and efficient.Work was timely and complete.Very happy with COIT and would highly recommend them for duct cleaning. Will probably use them for other cleaning jobs around the house.

We live in a fairly nice neighborhood. Quite often when we have people come out to do work estimates tend to run on the high side. With that being said when the gentleman came out and did his calculations he came up with a price of nearly 600 dollars. What was the estimate for you ask? A three seat cloth chair sectional with an overall length of 125 inches. The material did require dry cleaning, nor was it in bad condition, ( we have had it for approximately 1 year). I had a feeling that I was going to be up charged when I saw the technician charge me for both a sofa and chairs. The technician did honor the discount that was offered on the COIT website. The total after discount and added taxes came to roughly 500 dollars. Seeing the estimate I kindly declined, and thanked the technician for coming out. He then responded “ ok then how were you wanting to pay” I again declined and thanked him for his time.What the technician didn’t realize was he was my second estimate for the job. The first estimate came in at 220. I will never use this company again, and when I speak with the other 280 residents in my community I will share my story with them.

The technician did an excellent job cleaning our furniture and area rug. There were stains on our couch from over 2 years ago that I was sure wouldn’t come out. But somehow our technician was able to remove all the spots! Now the entire house looks and smells so fresh! I’m very pleased with the service.

The service was satisfactory. I had the main shower cleaned and the kitchen Island resurfaced ($930ish).The shower didnt look as good as I hoped. I specifically asked about discoloration on the shower tile floor and was told it was soap scum and the cleaning would resolve the issue, which it didnt. New caulk was installed around the shower glass but looks a bit messy and rushed.There are also a few spot at the top of the shower (ceiling) that werent cleaned. The kitchen island looks much better but left a huge mess. Drop cloths were put down but a waxy substance got on the wood floors and Im still working to get it removed and back to normal. A mess was also left near the kitchen sink as it was used to rinse equipment. The outside garden hose was left on and not turned off when they were finished. Ive had COIT service done before and wasnt left with a mess like this time. The tech didnt come within the expected timeframe for the original estimate appointment which started the frustration and then continued with the items addressed above.These pictures were taken after the cleaning and new caulk was installed. Shower cleaning cost $510.

Larissa, did a great job of cleaning the carpets, moving things out of the way that needed to be. Keeping me informed of what needs to take place I.e. how long it takes to dry. Being mindful of pipes that need protection from freeze a little nice bonus and consideration. Provided me a quote of cleaning vents and you have a return costumer for additional service.

Justin & Jose did a fantastic job cleaning my ottoman. My dog Penny used to lay on it all the time. She got it very dirty & I had no idea if it would ever come clean. Fortunately it now looks great ! I am very happy I called Coit. 😊

Only good thing was on time arrival. Everything else was sloppy at best. Left shoe marks everywhere, the cleaning wasn’t thorough, I ended up in mopping the whole floor afterwards. I guess I expected too much!!!

We scheduled air duct cleaning. Victor called 45 minutes before, to confirm service and arrival time. He was so polite, so professional and so thorough. He knew what he was doing, and took the time to explain the process. He was neat, and respectful of our home. He showed us photos of the before and after. Before leaving he checked the attic and reported ‘everything looked good’.The price was very competitive. COIT was recommended by our HVAC service company.

Easy PU, and paperwork. The PROOF will be how well they do in cleaning my 2 family heirloom rugs. 🤕 Did an excellent job. Pick up and drop off were flawless. They look great.👍👌💘

Our tech was a true professional. Our carpet looks brand new. There are no stains anywhere. He said he would arrive at 1:30, and he was at my door at 1:28. The price was reasonable for the incredible job he did on cleaning our entire upstairs. I will be having them back! Thank you Coit for a job well done.

After the Tech arrived and made the assessment of what I showed him he said the dryer vent needed cleaning. He treated me with honesty and respect. I was awed at someone telling me the truth and not trying to get over on us. I would call them again in a heart beat.

Victor cleaned our ducts which was badly needed. He did an outstanding job. Very professional and thorough. Feel like we got a new paint job. Vents look so pretty and white—not to mention feels so much healthier! Highly recommend Coit! Second experience with them—and outstanding employees!

They did an amazing job cleaning my carpet and tile. The carpet in one room had ground in dirt and oils. It looks far better than expected after COIT cleaned it. We thought the carpet would need to be replaced. We are very happy with the cleaning.

Had a great experience with coit today. I used them before and was looking forward to another great service. I used them for duct cleaning today. Victor arrived early and immediately began his assessment. He provided me with an estimate and advised me of additional services he could provide. I accepted the estimate and was very happy to add the additional services to the cleaning. Victor got right to work. He was professional and very helpful. He took photos as he went along and showed me his progress. When he was finished he cleaned up behind himself and removed his equipment from the house. Matt did an incredible job of removing the odors and cleaning the stairs and the bedroom. I so appreciated that the company was able to get to me quickly and did such a fantastic job. I would highly recommend I have used other cleaning services, but none were as professional as timely and courteous.

The whole process was smooth, and friendly, from the estimation to the cleaning. I had some questions about getting some services that didn’t get entirely answered by the estimator, but the two man team who did the cleaning were willing to expand the services they performed, and provide me with an updated estimate.I’m quite pleased with how my floors shine, and the air in my house feels.Everyone I worked with were friendly and knowledgeable; overall, I’m very glad I chose Coit.

Coit did an excellent job cleaning my carpet. Edgar was the technician performing the service and I can’t stop singing his praises. He was professional and had such a great presence. He was fast and was in and out in no time, all while making my very light-colored carpet back to looking like new! I definitely will be using Coit for any future carpet cleaning needs!

Excellent service! Sam gave us an estimate and picked up our rug to have it professionally cleaned at the same time. The rug was delivered and put back in place. It was done very nicely and turn around time was quick. We have used Coit for years and will use again in the future! Sam was knowledgeable, professional and accommodating.

We had rugs cleaned at COIT location and sofas cleaned in the house. Both worked out really well - they had gotten very dusty after a lot of house renovation. Very easy to schedule and change days and fix convenient times. Sam collected and delivered rugs and was very helpful. Sofa cleaning was very thorough. Will definitely use them again if needed .

Great service. They were prompt and responsive to all questions. The sofa didn’t get as clean as I hoped. But half of the sofa was satisfactory the other half does not look much different.I called to share about the overall cleaning and they sent another team member to clean the sofa again. We are grateful and now the sofa looks much better! Thank you for the great response.

David Teel was awesome. He was very thorough, meticulous, and he worked non-stop until my carpet was spotless! He explained what he was going to do and reviewed the estimate with us. He wasvery polite and courteous. It was a very nice experience to have David in our home. We have other areas we will call to have David come out and address. Coit came out to shampoo my carpets and steam clean my kitchen area. Edgar Martinez was especially helpful in his explanation of prices and the work he did was spectacular! I would definitely recommend them for your carpet, tile, and grout cleaning needs.

100% satisfied!!! After calling several other big name companies that deal with mold remediation and feeling blown off by them I came across COIT. From the moment I called, the service team was very caring, informative, and helpful. They put me in touch a a technician who could better help me with discussing what they would be doing when they arrived at my house. Javon was the technician that came to my house. He was very helpful and new his stuff. He walked me through the entire process. After he ran his tests, he came up with a plan of action. The quote for the services was greatly priced. The next day he arrived and handled everything. By the time he was done, everything was cleaned and a dehumidifier was used to remove all the moisture out of the wood, drywall, and carpet. Javon even came by during the drying process just to check everything to make sure it was drying properly. I highly recommend COIT and Javon if you have mold and/or water damage at your house. 100% satisfied with them!!

I had a written bid to clean a tile floor scheduled to be done more than a month later. The technician shows up at the end of the time slot and refuses to honor the bid claiming the bid salesman did not know what he was doing and that the technician would need a LOT more money to clean the floor. I told him I was happy with the bid and to please honor the contract but he refused. I showed him the door. His manager later by phone backed him up and claimed I was exaggerating.I recommend you never use this company. Terrible communicators and dishonest in their practices.

Excellent service! Arrived ahead of scheduled time and got the job done very efficiently. I was surprised how quiet their equipment was. The results were amazing.

Did a great job! The fish oil smell is still in fibers and has oder, so I will need to take out carpet to get rid of it. Thanks for trying.

Taken care of well by your employee. He worked hard at getting behind my dryer, gsve me important guidance about my loose electrical plug in the wall, & getting a much needed shorter dryer hose to the wall. José from Coit came out to remove a stain from a sofa. Fabric: Microfiber. Ink: suspect a regular ink pen that managed to leak. José was very HONEST and stated that the ink might not come out completely, and could possibly just fade to a lighter shade of blue ink. (The sofa is a light color - off white). UNDERSTANDABLY, José was hesitant to clean the spot, and I was a bit skeptical. After much discussion and skepticism, José decided to try to remove the stain, and I decided to take a chance. The stain came out. There seemed to be a very slight blue cast left behind. José said that could be because it wasn’t dry. I waited 3 days, and the slightest blue cast can still be seen. It’s not REAL noticeable to just glance, but it’s there. Maybe it can come out, I really don’t know. OVERALL, I am pleased with the service received. José was knowledgeable and professional. Best of all, he was honest. I’m glad the outcome was positive, and yes, I would use Coit again. I gave 4 stars because of the slight blue cast left behind.

Nice, hard working young man. Called to let me know that he was on his way. Showed up on time. Did the work in a professional and timely manner. Would request him as well as Coit’s again. Tried Angie’s but, they never showed up. Will never do that again.

Justin and Jose always does a super great job on my kitchen tile and grout. I have an annual grout warranty and when they are finished, my ceramic tile looks like new. I highly recommend COIT and this crew.

Well I’m pretty disappointed. I was calling around for estimates for my moms house and the girl told me for 3 rooms the cost would be $150 and the pet stains would need to be looked at for a price which I completely understand. I counted on this price so I didn’t call any other companies. The 3 rooms were $210 instead of $150 which is a huge difference from what I was told. Also there is a service charge for $29 for God knows what that was never mentioned! In my opinion, when customers call for a price and hire you that price should be set in stone, other than the pet stains that need to be seen first.

Bill Klein of COIT did an excellent job cleaning out our air ducts/vents and replacing the insulation in them! He was reliable, hardworking and quick! We highly recommend him!

I have been using Coit for several years and Justin is the only guy that I request to take care of our carpets.He makes every effort to go out of his way to do the best job possible. He knows the true meaning of PRIDE in customer service!

The agent came n. Counted my ducts and told me how much they will cost to clean without even assessingto see if they needed to be cleaned.I explained to him that I expected him to check first to see if they are dirty or not. He said he does not have the tools to check.He professed that the company is the best and was eager to write me a quotation if over $900.I asked him how could he be the best, and yet, he does not have the tools to assess my ducts.As thus stage, I was sad because I wasted my time waiting for them past the appointment time yesterday before they called me and we rebooted for today. And then he came and would not assess my ducts.When he saw I was not happy with him, he then tried to open my attic, but my attack revolted and refused to be opened.

Coit- great experience from first phone call to the end. Larissa was our Technician along with Jose. Larissa was very cordial, listened to our job request and she explained what a/c vent cleaning would entail. She went above and beyond. I liked the tech, Gilbert, very much. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. In this day of basically little to no customer service, he represented Coit in a manner which was definitely an asset to rhem. Good job!

The gentleman that went to give us a quote don’t recall his name very nice, very polite and very understanding when we told him that we could not do it at the moment again very very polite. Would I recommend them even though they didn’t do a job for me yes, I would just because of how professional They were just like conversation with them about the issue.

I will never have them come in my home again to clean my carpet…..he was so interested in what i own in my home, i thought he was going to rob me. Mr. Cruz said he would give me an estimate on my kitchen floor and never did, he just wanted to look around my kitchen to see what I had and acted like I had never seen my floor. Never will I use COIT again.

Jose did a great job steam cleaning my 3 bathrooms and laundry room. The flooring is primarily white with very fine stripes with light grout. It looked terrible and is now like new. I have used Coit for years and I am pleased as usual. Thank you Jose!

As part of our extended restoration project, we needed to get our HVAC system fully scrubbed, sanitized, sealed, and treated to remove mold damage and prevent further issues. Larissa and Bill came out to service our system this morning. Larissa really knows her stuff and she did an amazing job, documenting the whole process to make sure our Insurance and Restoration teams had plenty of photos. She walked me through the process and answered every question I had about the service, prevention, and everything else. The two of them started quickly and got the job done efficiently and thoroughly. Well definitely be calling Coit for future cleanings because the service I received today was top notch!

Technician Daniel was very thorough and did an excellent job.We’re happy with the final results.We would request for him to come out when we used the service again.

We had Coit come out to inspect our upstairs unit. We felt there was an unfamiliar stuffy odor coming from our upstairs unit. Justin was very knowledgeable and helped us to notice how we had our system running and carefully inspected our duct system. He gave us a price we could not pass up. We had already gotten a quote from another reputable company, but Coits price was unbeatable and upfront. No hidden fees and he was able to do it the same day. He told us exactly what he would be doing and we now are a little over a week since having our cleaning and our upstairs area still has a freshness to it. Beyond pleased Justins service.

Larissa did a great job in cleaning our dryer vent. My dryer has never dried clothes this efficiently. She worked hard and gave great customer service.

I was quoted $288. When it came time to pay my bill was almost $400.. I was told the deodorizing was not included in the quote but nowhere in the quote does it tell you that that parts is not included. It does list deprderizing in the options that I selected, but not as a separate charge! I feel very tricked

Justin was punctual and worked very hard to undo all the damage my dogs have inflicted on my rug and curtains. I do recommend Coit.

Justin with Coit Did a terrific job getting a newly dropped coffee stain out of my just freshly cleaned carpets from the week before! He put a lot of effort in to it and got it out! Also recently, he had cleaned two rooms of tile and recolored the grout to make the grout all one color. I had no ideaCout could do this. Our floors look brand new! The crew worked cleanly, cleaned up any incidental paint chips (removing grills) and put everything back with no damage. They were pleasant and careful having equipment in the house.

The technician that performed service at our home was friendly, efficient, and through. It was a pleasure dealing with Larissa Tamez. She kept us informed of her findings and recommended some additional services. She was very upbeat and positive throughout her time in our home. She constantly cleaned below vents as she cleaned the ducts in the house as she went room to room. We would use Coit again in the future, especially if larissa was the tech doing the job.

Jose did a wonderful job cleaning our dining room chairs and 2 Lazy Boy arm chairs.What was frustrating was getting in contact with the company after they messed up my requested time. Msgs were left on voicemail. Promised calls were not returned. Multiple numbers and time used to fix this problem. Company needs to work on their communication procedures!

I had my shower tile and grout cleaned by Manuel yesterday. He did a fantastic job. Took him about 2 hours to complete the job.

We have used COIT now for several years. The company is extremely well run. When you call, a well-trained human answers almost immediately, and they schedule carpet cleaning easily. The quality of their technicians is excellent. They arrive on time, and we have been extremely pleased with the cleaning of our carpets. We also tried their specialty cleaning for a large Indian carpet. We were nervous at first to have them take that away, but it came back looking just beautiful. Finally, we just had them clean and polish our stone entryway. Again, we were a bit unsure and worried that it might not come out well. But again, the result is beautiful and now we will probably have them do this every few years.

My technician Melissa was delightful and efficient and took considerable time to do a thorough clean. Highly recommended.

Okay, well we’re moving out of our furnished home in Galveston, and there is a white linen love seat, pull out sofa that my toddler rubbed top soil into, ALL over it.. I was very stressed out because replacing the couch would have cost me at least $1,000.00.So, my mother referred me to COIT, and one of the senior techs named DAVID TEEL, came today and even though, it’s extremely hard to clean white linen material, I was shocked at not only how professional he was with communication with me on what he was using, he made sure to call me before the appointment too. He was able to get ALL of the stains out of the couch, and even stains out do the dining room chairs that got mucked up as well.I’m extremely impressed, I’m grateful and that is why I’m writing this review. I HIGHLY recommend hiring COIT for this type of service, and I very much highly recommend asking for David too.It’s really nice that even though the company is based out of Houston, they were able to service Galveston. Absolutely recommend COIT. I worked with their technician Daniel and would 10/10 recommend him. He was so communicative and knowledgeable at the initial free consultation. He guaranteed an 85% improvement on the vintage couch I’d purchased (it was covered in ink marks from the previous owner’s kids, as well as large oil smudges). I was a bit nervous because I worked with another cleaning company before who ended up being awful, but Daniel delivered and more! The couch looks amazing, the ink marks are somehow almost completely gone, as are the oil stains. It’s unbelievable what a good professional cleaning can do - I am so pleased!

We hired COIT to clean the HVAC ducts at our Houston home and the dryer vent. The technician was prompt and professional. She explained the process clearly before she started. Several months ago, we had Coit clean our air ducts after new air conditioners were installed. The two guys were friendly and helpful. However, previous owners had caulked around many of the airducts, and they were not careful in removing them, and ceiling paint was removed, and looked horrible. Now, we will have to have painters in to match and repair the ceilings in multiple rooms. I was very disappointed. Update 3/7/21 See additional photos of ceiling damage by Coit Air Duct cleaning. Two very friendly gentleman cleaned a couple of our rugs and our drier vent. Very through and very efficient. Would definitely recommend. Daniel was our lead cleaner and I would ask for him specifically.

Edward did an awesome job restoring our travertine shower. The shower had many areas of cracked grout, mold and soap scum. After Edward performed a thorough cleaning, grouting and sealing it’s now like new. Thanks Edward/Coit for a job well done!

Paid $500 to have my air vents cleaned on July 15, 2023. Less than 5 months later black particles is coming out of me vents. I called Coit office to see if they would send someone back out to see what the issue was. I was told that they could come back out however I would need to pay for another cleaning. Why would I give them more money to clean my vents again. Air vent cleaning are only good for 90 days. UNBELIEVABLE! What a joke

Both the tech who gave me an estimate and the tech who performed the service (feep cleaning of my natural stone tile floor) were very knowledgeable and listened to my needs. Both understood that only so much could be done and didnt try to sell me on a more expensive solution that would likely result in my disappointment. I had an estimate feom a competitor who did the exact opposite. I REALLY appreciate the Coit customer service and would recommend them highly!

Coit’s service technician, Bill Klein, called to give me his time of arrival and arrived at that time. He did a thorough assessment of the job, listened to my concerns, and then completed repairs as agreed upon, even exceeding my expectations. He explained the remediation process and gave me actionable advice for how to prevent the problem from recurring. I could not be more impressed. This was my first time to use Coit, but Bill has made me a customer for life.

I told the COIT representative I must have morning appointment. Sure as shooting, what did they do? Gave me afternoon! Sent a notification to R reschedule, and what happened....they showed up and no one was home🤔. Im concerned about quality of work when they cant even communicate? Lets see if they respond to me?

The gentleman who provided my travertine cleaning was friendly, knowledgeable, willing, and thorough.This was a follow-up visit I requested after having the (filthy) tumbled travertine in my entire house cleaned several weeks ago.The initial job was great- a full house of travertine … and grout… all clean.Your warranty says you’ll come back for free to address anything. I had noticed a couple of specific areas that were not as clean as some of the others, so I called Coit just to inquire.Without any hesitation, you scheduled a new follow-up appointment. And as your warranty says, it was at no charge.I am completely and totally satisfied and will recommend Coit enthusiastically.

The gentleman who arrived and did the work was nice and knowledgeable. He told me it was unlikely the stain would come out because I have wool carpet. I was disappointed and wish I had known that in advance. Overall my carpet does look better. One recommendation is to be sensitive dragging the hoses though the house careful not to run them up against walls and corners.

The guys did a great job and were very thorough. Our carpets and rugs had not been cleaned for years and we have 3 dogs and two boys. It really needed it! The house smells and looks 100% better now!
