Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning

Sears needs to do a better job at vetting their contractors. First of all the deal seemed too good to be true. an advertisement to clean 14 vents for $159 turned into $1600 job. Of course I declined. I got a second opinion and got the job done for between three and $400. All of a sudden, no mold .. Interesting

Terrible service, overpriced, just left the carpet wet - not clean. Giovanne was the technician that did a terrible job and damaged the property because he was swinging around the hoses without a care. First, he arrives and implies if I have cash, he can do a carpet deodorizer for less, I said no. Then he starts setting up the hoses and is on a phone call the entire time (on speaker), I look at him and he says, you need something? which isnt super polite but hes in my home! So I ask him to please wear shoe coverings as he goes up to the clean the upstairs carpeted areas and he says why? Im going to clean it all on my way down. And he kept arguing until he finally relented but rolled his eyes first. Then upstairs, he started cleaning 6 areas and finished in less than 20 minutes, with a lot of banging around. Once he finished, he said I can go up to see but he wouldnt come up. Weird but ok. I went up and saw that there was still an indentation in the carpet from a rug, I showed Giovanne and he said I dont know anything about that, I dont know how fix that, Sears doesnt do anything about that. Again, so unprofessional and not credible.Then he said, Heres your receipt with the 30 day guarantee info but what you cant claim is that carpet indentation you just showed me. What??But he finally leaves and I go back up to inspect the carpet and thats when I saw that he damaged a 3 doors and their trim. This was clearly from all the banging around of the equipment. In the photos, all of the doors have the same dark blue scratches which match the color of the hoses he used.My question is why even work if your disposition is going to be so miserable? Purposefully damaging a strangers property for what? This was such a waste of money.Edited to add the pictures. A Sears customer service rep called and gave me a number to submit the pictures but it didn’t work so sharing here.

I had Sears clean the air ducts at a previous home. They did an excellent job, so I decided to try them again. December 18, 2023, I hired Sears to clean the air ducts at my new home. This time Sears did a horrible, sloppy, rushed job. The technician used an air powered agitator to knock loose the caked up dust and dried mildew in the air ducts. He let the majority of it fall on my furniture and carpet. I had to deep clean my home of all the dried mildew and dust that fell from the vents during the air duct cleaning and afterwards. The next day, I still had debris blowing out of the air ducts. The service comes with a Sears satisfaction guarantee for 30 days. My wife said H-to the-NO they cannot come back to our house. The technician left us with a hole in the ceiling of our pantry from where he stepped through the ceiling while in the attic. The Sears technician that created the hole said the hole would be fixed the next day. I called the office the next day and was told it might be a week before someone comes to my home to repair the hole. Customer Service Representative Maribel told me I would receive a reduced service fee when my credit card was charged, but I was charged the full fee of $273.32. It took two weeks to get the hole repaired in my ceiling during the cold of December. My wife and I regret getting our air ducts cleaned by Sears because of the time and effort spent recleaning our home from the mess left behind by the technicians, plus the hole in our ceiling. We paid $273.32 to have our vents cleaned, but instead got a dirty house and a hole in my ceiling. I had a contractor come to my home to reclean the air ducts, and they did an excellent job, without leaving a mess for me to clean up.To add insult to injury, the Sears technician gave me an invoice that he had attempted to scratch out another customers personal information, but did not do that well. I have that customers name, home phone number, cell phone number and email address on the invoice given to me.

Air Duct cleaning was terrible:1- The guy scratched many walls and baseboard on my house, I just painted everything, clean the ducts was the last part before I move in2- The guy was more concerned in up sell a crazy expensive UV light than perform his job.3- After I turn on the AC a lot of dust fall to my floors.4- The guy moved out the AC filter from my AC and did not tell us, I only figure out many days later.5- They left a big mess after the job was done, specially at the bathrooms, they did not clean after they finished.6- They did not clean the grills, they asked $ 195 to clean 11 grills.Overall I am very disappointed, I checked so many good reviews about Sears and even they are not cheap I decided to trust my house with them, but was a mistake.I know that there is a 30 day period that I can call them back, but how can I trust my house again with such careless performance ?

The customer service is horrible. Maribel has a horrible attitude and her disposition sucks. Ive been using Sears for years but I will not after my experience with her today! Rude, obnoxious, and she doesnt even care.

Most stains indicated werent removed,As a result; we end up buying our cleaning materials to finish the work.We were also charged for a second walking closets that wasnt cleaned at all.

Completely Messed Up Unprofessional ServiceDishonest Customer Service$732 for a 30-minute tile/grout cleaning with machine that did not clean grout, I was promised that technicians will use hand brush to clean grout which was the main reason for this entire cleaning service. And, on top of that, they left us with a huge mess.

They did a really good cleaning. Our vents were extra dirty.The technicians and were friendly and kept them informed.My issue stemmed from they had to use Kilz when replacing the vents. They did not put down protection.Kilz was onOur floors - we cleaned it off ourselvesBeddingLeather couch - left spots when we cleaned it off. They refuse to take care of it as evidenced by:The technicians came back out and said the office would be contacting us. It’s been a month.I called and was told I would get a return call. No call.We will be looking for someone else next time.

I called Sears been That is a trusted name.Had them come the very next day, I spilled cranberrie juice. Michael was not able to get it out. I felt that he could have left the spot remover longer than just a few minutes.Also, he said to me, he had never treated a rug with crambery juice. All in all, the carpet looks no better than It looked before. Except I was out over $118.99. Sears claims to guarantee results, but do you really want back a company that charges you for something they were hired to take care off,And they dont get the job done. If crambery is juice is not removable, they should tell you. I wont be doing future business. Or recommending their service.Update: they did come a second time. Try a little harder, a slight improvement was done.

Daryl and his assistant came yesterday for duct cleaning. They were very polite and somewhat thorough but;1 They scratched the front door with their machine2 They left marks on wall from their hoses3 They did not clean up all the dirt they left on the floor and furniture4 Worst is that they clearly did not clean the entire duct on three runs

The technician called around 7:30am to say they were about an hour away. They did not arrive until 9:41am (that is 41 minutes outside of our quoted window of 8am-9am, and about 2 hours after the initial call). Instead of receiving any update on ETA I had to call customer service to get an update. After they left I went to put in new air filters - the return air filter grilles and surrounding areas were absolutely dirty and disgusting. There was literally hanging lint/debris (that was not there before the air duct cleaning). The technician could not even be bothered to wipe them off. Im not saying he needed to take the grille of and clean it but he could have at least removed the hanging debris. For the cost of this service I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

I recently purchased a house and had Sears clean my carpeting and tile and grout on the main floor. The grout hadn’t been cleaned in years and was very dark. It took 2 times, but it turned out very well! Sears was very responsive and came out a second time free to get up the remaining dirt in the grout. Great value.

Elijah & James were excellent.They arrived on time. Very professional And courteous. They did an outstanding job cleaning my carpet removing the dog stains and odors.I would highly recommend them (Sear’s) anytime. I appreciate you sending such outstanding workers to complete this job.

Craig is a highly professional technician, knows the business and has years of experience in the appliance repair service. He is friendly, courteous and takes pride when providing service. I had a clogged dryer vent which ran up through the roof for ventilation. He made sure the vent was completely cleaned, all parts placed back securely and put me at ease that my dryer was back functioning correctly. The clogged vent had caused the heating element to burn out. He left the repair area clean and even gave me tips on how to maintain my dryer performance. I definitely would request his service if needed in the future. I trust him completely.

The lead service guy was very professional and helpful but the helper was the problem. He attempted to enter our home before being welcomed in, attempted walk in the room on my daughters, used our restroom at least four witnessed times during the visit. We even observed him wiping our bathroom sink with a dirty company towel. Very unprofessional and weird person to allow in your house around kids. Called Sears to notify them of this issue they didn’t really care. They told me someone would reach out about our concerns but it’s been weeks and we haven’t heard from anyone. I guess they support unprofessional and inappropriate behavior around kids

It was so good to call three years later and hear the lovely, professional voice of Maribel, in fact she was the reason I choose to return to Sears,for service. She was able to get me set up with an appointment the very next day! I was informed as to the arrival of the technicians and Kendrick and Joshua were very respectful, and knowledgeable young men.When they arrived at my home they were very helpful as I had to move furniture close to the vents that needed to cleaned. They worked clean!! and gave me advice about maintaining clean air ducts.These are three really wonderful team members! As a former Sears HR manager Im proud of the service provided by these team members!

As always excellent service. The guys were punctual and cleaned the tile and grout to its former glory. Extremely pleased and will continue to use and recommend Sears to others.

So I used Sears services to clean dryer vent and AC vents for whole house. The technician who came to service were not very respectful to the property and was on his cell phone most of the time. This distracted him a lot and while moving around ladder and equipment left marks on the floor and furniture. When opening the very went, since he was not attentive, he drop a heavy piece on floor leaving deep scuff on wooden floor. Not the worth for your money. I would rather opt for a mom and pop provider based on local review instead of going to a franchise.

The floor looks like it was just mopped. Basically doing the same thing I did. ZOOM IN. Look at the grout yourself. Don’t waste your money.

I am NOT pleased with SEARS Duct Cleaning. The Techs said they do not do before/after photos of workdone. I didnt observe them do any brush cleaning and I saw no dust or dustballs in the receptacle they used. I couldnt tell if they had done any cleaning.

I had two young men clean my 2 sofas. I was extremely surprised on the excellent job. They were very old school polite and very professional. What a great experience. I wish I had written thier name. Glad to see young people take pride on thier work. Thank you guys !!

Polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and went over and above to get the job done. The air ducts were connected to this giant vacuum cleaner machine, my furniture and floors covered with tarps, vents removed and cleaned, and all done in two hours. I would definitely use this service again. Edgar was great to communicate cost of any extra services I needed. Im very pleased.

Ron and Charles came out to clean my carpets and I was thouroly impressed with their attention to detail and their customer service skills! They listened to all my wants and needs and insured I was happy before they left! They were so nice and easy going I felt safe to let them in my home. They were very professional and went above and beyond! I’m a real customer and I highly recommend this service and if you get Ron and Charles as your techs you’ll be just as pleased as I am! After the floor dried I noticed it was a little sticky, maybe it was just me but sears came back out anyway and Ron came back! Craig did an awesome job and really went the extra mile in cleaning my carpet. He removed stains that several other cleaners wouldn’t even attempt!!I have had Sears carpet cleaning over the past several years and Craig stands out for his dedication and professionalism.

I had my carpets cleaned today- February 8th, 2023 at my rental home. The tenant has advised that the carpets were well cleaned and I am thankful for that. My one star is linked to the customer service at Sears. I was called by SEARS to make payment, but was unfortunately hosting a presentation in front of 100+ people. I took the call, by briefly running out and advised Nicole that I will have to call back, as I did not have my wallet and would have to leave meeting and that was not possible and I would call back in 30 minutes once my presentation was over. My response from Nicole was that the payment needed to be made NOW. This just was not possible at that time, and I again told her I would call back. I then received a text message stating a police report would be filed. I would advise Sears to hold a card prior to completing services if you do not have trust with your clients. Also, PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS NOT SEARS, the department store.

This young man you employed is definitely an asset to your business. From the moment he step into my home he was a true a concern professional person. No job was out of his thought of experience. I only want Matthew and Dovonvan to service my home. Job well done….

Calling Sears and setting up the appointment to get my a/c ducts cleaned was so easy. The operator was so cheery on the line. She made me smile and feel good about choosing Sears. She understood what I wanted and she was efficient and very knowledgeable. JD and Anthony from Sears Duct cleaning service came to my house and did an outstanding job of cleaning my a/c ducts. They called me in the morning to give me ana time estimate of when they would arrive. They arrived just as promised ready to get started. They were very professional. They explained every step of the process. I really appreciated them telling me about a problem I had with my UV light system. Instead of just charging me for a replacement UV bulb, they showed my husband how the wiring was not connected properly and needed to be corrected. I really appreciated that information. I will be calling them again.

Great job. Had Sears Clean Houston perform a grout cleaning in our kitchen and the results were fantastic. Britton our cleaning tech explained the process in detail, took measurements, and had me sign-off on the total before starting the cleaning process. The whole process took less than 30 minutes to clean roughly a 170 sq/ft area. Will definitely used this service in the future. Great communication during the process, they called day prior to give you your appointment window and then called with a 30 minutes heads up once the Tech was en-route.

Anthony and his team were right on time for the carpet cleaning and did a great job! He was a great communicator and answered my questions. I had a coupon for 7 rooms, but only ended up needing 6 rooms cleaned. Even though I was willing to pay the original price quoted, he took the time to correct my ticket and only be charged for the 6 rooms cleaned. I will definitely use their service again!

Great service! honest, professional, informative, and Carlos Nunez was the technician - he explained in detail all the work needed and how he was going to perform. He did a detailed cleaning of our HVAC system and installed an air filtration system, went above and beyond what we expected in terms of quality of service. They showed up in time, but had the worst machine ever! It was all taped up even the hose! Blew trash all over my floor. They didn’t bother to clean up, too busy trying to sell their mold service. Sears, get better machines. I didn’t realize how raggedy the machine was until halfway through the job. Do better!

They went above and beyond expectation. I am excited to write this review, because it is quite rare to find people that truly excel at their craft. I recently had my carpet cleaned by two technicians from Sears named Ronald. C and Frederick .H. These guys were very friendly thorough with answering my questions and absolutely professional. They did an incredible job with my carpet. I am very pleased with the service. The company choose two wonderful people to represent quality, efficiency and completion. First time customer and never had our vents cleaned. Went with Sears because I trusted the brand did not want to be hustled and upsold on products I could not afford or need. Israel and his assistant were on-time, professional, and did an thorough job. He advised me to the products and services I need to keep my AC running efficiently and was able to give me an honest quote for services i will get at a later time. I am definitely recommending this company to my family based on the service I received today.

Michael and Brett did a great job cleaning our white tile and grout. They arrived on time, wore shoe coverings and were very professional. They have cleaned our tile before and its always been a positive experience. Definitely five star service.

Workers did good job and did it fast. BUT I was asked the soak vents in clorox and clean the vents off....that needs to be changed OR they should notify the customer of this, I was caught off guard thankfully I did have some clorox here to clean the vents. IF I am paying you for your services the cleaning of the vents should be included also. Otherwise, for first time cleaning air ducts it was not a bad experience.

Immanuel and Bret were here on time and got right to work on some serious pet issues and finished in a reasonable time. We will use them again and ask specifically for Immanuel. We love Sears Carpet and use them twice a year and will continue - great quality and value for the price! Good work!

Darrly and Joeye came out to address concerns about a previous visit by different technicians. A supervisor also came out because of our concerns. I tell you, I am extremely impressed by the responsiveness of these individuals that came out today. They were professional and knowledgeable in what they do. Todays technicians fixed the problem and also cleaned up as they worked. These individuals also explained what was happening when they arrived and what was accomplished. They turned the previously extremely poor customer experience around to a positive outcome. I would definitely recommend Sears and Darryl and Joeye, if you need air ducts cleaned and serviced. Luis arrived as scheduled and was very thorough in explaining what the job would entail. My tile floors look better than they have in years. I actually ended up having him change the grout color so my kitchen looks totally different. Great experience and a lot cheaper than replacing the tile.

I made a reservation on a Saturday evening and within minutes after submitting I was called to confirm. On my appointment date I was called to confirm once more and again when they were thirty minutes away. Shawn and Marcus arrived and immediately got to work. They were friendly and incredibly professional. Shawn was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Living room, hallway and bedroom were done quickly and efficiently. I have Berber carpet and it has never looked better. I highly recommend them and will have them come back regularly from now on

Today, Lorenzo and Anthony cleaned our carpets. They arrived early and helped move a couple items. Professional and friendly! I was working from home on conference calls and they were done quickly. Highly recommended!In the past, Ronald has come out twice and he is always on time and also does a great job. We have stairs and Ronald did the job in a flash all by himself!

I called to have our tile and grout cleaned. Spoke to a representative and she gave me a verbal quote, but told me a technician would come by and measure to give a more accurate price. She then said that he would be ready to do the work if we agreed to the price. I was at work when the tech came by and spoke to my wife. He gave her a price and she said that we would rather wait. He then told her there was a cancellation fee of $28.00. We were never told that we were under any obligation. My wife said that he was very nice, but couldn’t leave without getting a check. My wife paid him and I received a few follow up calls asking about the service. My reply has been and will continue to be terrible! Unprofessional and deceitful. Will never call on Sears carpet and tile cleaning again.

I have been using Sears Carpet Cleaning for many years & have always been beyond pleased with the work that they do & their professionalism & today was no different. Both TreVon & Felix were very exceptional, they were very punctual, they explained the treatment process very well & answered all my questions very professionally. The Sears technicians (Eduardo and Daryl) came out today to clean out the air duct system at my apartment. They were well mannered and dressed professionally for the job. The servie they performed was done in under an hour and the quality of the air has definitely improved. Thanks guy for a well done job.

Sears Carpet Cleaning was great, they returned my online order request very promptly, explained everything up front and did not charge me for any extras I did not want. Finally, a carpet cleaning company that honors its online specials and no hidden charges once the Service Pro gets to your home. My Service Pro Felix Rocha was fantastic, very friendly and answered all my questions and explained the process he would do to get my carpets as clean as possible. I have not had my carpets cleaned in many years and Felix did a great job making them look almost new again.

Eduardo, Trevon and William did an exceptional job cleaning our ducts. Eduardo explained each step and the team proceeded to carry out the job efficiently. They were very courteous and I would definitely recommend them. Tabitha, the customer service rep explained the pricing alternatives and made me feel confident that the Sears cleaning system was right for my needs. The scheduling process was fast and easy.

Anthony and Dorian were very professional with an attention to detail and explained everything about what they were doing. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them. I have NEVER been disappointed by Sears carpet and upholstery cleaning. Ive used them for years and its always a first rate job!

James was phenomenal. He offered suggestions on how to make my carpet dry faster since I was pressed on time before my kids arrived home. He was very thorough and professional. Will use him again.

James Joseph, the technician from Sears was on time and very professional. He walk through very patiently to see all the areas I wanted attention to and believe me, when James Joseph finished the job, I was very very pleased in the service he render to us. Gabriel and JT arrived on time and went right to work. They were friendly, courteous, and very hard-working individuals. They cleaned the ducts by mounting the hose to the vent closest to the plenum. They installed a uv light inside the plenum and sprayed the inside of all the vents with a bio chemical to prevent temporary future growth.

Ronald and his assistant were punctual, thorough, and professional. Ronald explained what they were going to do and why. We had some very old, dark stains and he was able to get rid of so much it is hardly noticeable. On our stairs, he also noticed that the carpet was old and worn from 20+ years of traffic and it looks a lot better. We are still planning on getting new carpet on the stairs in a few years, but now there is no hurry. The whole job was quick and dried when they told us it would be dry. We would definitely use Sears and this crew again!

Edit: After a day we did it ourselves using our own steam vacuum cleaner and the stains were gone. So, you know what is the kind of quality you can expect. Either they intentionally wont remove stains or they do a poor service for the money we pay! So, I strongly recommend stay away from Sears carpet cleaning.When I spoke to the customer service reps, they mentioned the thorough cleaning is 2 step process and takes couple of hours to finish. The technician finished 4 rooms and stairs in 45 min and left. Once they come they will restate that stain removal is not guaranteed and costs 30$ per each stain (and this is dog pee, its not a permanent stain!!. They just wanted extra money otherwise just plain steam vacuum, which I could have done without causing ~200$ bill with my own steam vacuumer ). And they consider even tiniest dot as a stain area. They dont remove any stains in the initial quote they give you over phone. The technician in fact charged me 7$ extra for attached small closet (probably a rule, but I considered its part of the room it was attached to). Anyways, I will never recommend sears to any of my friends. the local agent was right. He promised everything under 250$. No wonder this company is bankrupted for such false promises and poor service.

The team was professional and finished job in a timely manner. Ronald ask me what areas of concern that I had in each room with stains. They were nice guys.Cons: Didnt wear shoe covers, water was leaking everywhere in front yard, and my carpet seemed wet longer than usually. By 10pm the carpets were still pretty wet.I have been using Sears for about 3 years now. I remember the carpet not being so wet. It usually dried in a few hours. Overall, love Sears, good prices, professional guys!

Honest and professional and treated me with respect! These guys literally saved us! We have been without AC for almost a year. They came exactly on time completed the duct cleaning and told me exactly what should be done by an AC guy. After getting quotes of $6,000.00, $13,000.00, and $15,000.00, we called a trusted AC guy and asked only for what Sears recommended! $600.00 later and our house has AC again! All because some one went above and beyond his job, did a GREAT job and treated people honestly! Thank you Sears!

Sears came to clean my hardwood floors in my new house. My roomates and I noticed that the aging of our house was in desperate need of a revamping. We found Sears online and it was a quick and easy schedule of the appointment (we were able to get them out there the day after we decided to use them!!) The team called to confirm our appointment and called when they were on their way- they were extremely timely! The men cleaning our home were extremely professional and gave us good tips on keeping the floors clean in the future. We felt like we were getting seriously special treatment! The price was just at what we expected and the floors looked like NEW once they were done. Seriously, it was a night and day difference. We will definitely be using Sears again for future services!!!!!

Could not be more pleased with the professionalism and service provided by Adolpho and James. We first obtained a quote from a competitor to clean the air ducts. Prior to the competitor performing an inspection, we informed the advisor that the evaporator coil and plenum are new as they had recently been replaced. We were quoted $875 to have the air ducts cleaned and $1,465 for a UV filter. The competitor also advised that our unit was undersized for our home and suggested that we replace the entire HVAC system for $9,500. Adolpho and James with Sears came out and performed a similar inspection and informed me that duct cleaning wasn’t necessary because our unit has a new evaporator coil and plenum. Instead, Adolpho recommended deodorizing our system and installing a UV filter. They installed the UV filter and deodorized our system for less than what the competitor quoted just to clean the ducts. It took Adolpho and James less than an hour to complete the service. Great job, great price, and above all, THANK YOU for your honesty and integrity!

Luis was prompt and did an excellent carpet cleaning. They were in and out. I would highly recommend Luis any day. Sears was very accurate on timing and touching base with the the customer when they would show up. They have a great team.

I would highly recommend Israel and his assistant Edgar. They came in a timely manner. They were polite and pleasant in demeanor. Israel was very informative and described what the process of air duct cleaning entailed. They were quick to answer any questions I had. Israel gave great tips on how to keep the air flowing well and keep our electricity bill down. They cleaned up after themselves and were done within the time estimated. For future air duct cleaning services, we could gladly use this team again.

First time I am using sears for air duct cleaning. Edgar G and Immanuel were on time. They were professional in the way they carried out the service, cleaning up the area after the service was done in every room. They showed areas in the attic, which were beginning to catch mold. They also suggested temporary and permanent solutions to prevent mold from growing. We ended up installing the UV light, based on their suggestion. Overall, I am quite happy with the two of them and sears. I will call up sears again, for any home maintenance activities.Only reason for not giving a 5 star, is the price. They may be competitive, but they need to look at the over all market condition right now with people losing jobs left, right and center. It makes business sense to lower their rate during this turbulent time. They will end up having a more loyal customer base.

Carlton and William were the two gentlemen that cleaned our carpet. The guys moved large furniture around to clean the area underneath and even left them on blocks to help with drying.They were very quick and our original carpet looks brand new now. These guys were awesome! Very quick, efficient, sense of urgency, polite, very welled mannered, had a sense of courtesy to cover up areas where they were working so they wouldnt cause a mess or damage your floors or furniture. They dont waste your time and their time. They kept me informed throughout the whole process. What the time frame would be, calling me before the technicians were on their way and they showed up very soon after. It was like clockwork. Even though I was informed how the process was going to work over the phone, the technicians took the initiative to explain the process again to make sure you understood what was going on. Will be calling these guys out again if I ever need them in the future.

Willo was the guy that came and shampooed my carpets, he was very nice explained everything and did and excellent job. Every spot that was on my carpet came out. Which I was hesitant. But theres a very big difference when were shampooing our carpet and a professional cleaner coming to do the job.

Great customer service and communication! They were very flexible with my schedule (and reschedules!), and each time I called they always answered the phone - no waiting on hold or automated system! Also, I received appointment reminders via phone call and email, which helped a lot for a forgetful person like me. We hired Sears to clean our sofa and love seat and would never use them again nor allow anyone we know to do so. We just moved into our townhome so we had some items on the couch which he helped remove- wonderful start...that’s about where it ends. We only received protection on the sofa though both should have been protected, when it was pointed out that not all the dog hair had been vacuumed he informed us that we were to do so by hand, he never asked whether or not we were satisfied, and gouged our hardwoods. As if this was not enough, I was charged more than what was quoted over the phone. Heed my warning and stay far away from their cleaning services.

Both William and Edgar were punctual, friendly, courteous, and very professional. They went about the task of cleaning our air ducts and dryer vent in a professional and precise manner. I would highly recommend them to whomever hires Sears in the Houston area.

This was the WORST carpet cleaning experience in my 46 years of home owning ever. They dont even warrant one star, but it was the only way I was allowed to post. My carpets were soaked and stayed wet for over 6 days. They became mildew smelling and the master carpet got darker from being wet. The technician sprayed cleaner on my silk drapes (which are now stained), he had to be told to put papers or foam blocks under furniture that he did move (which he wasnt moving & it was very light furniture that I was told he would move), he showed up with no gas in his truck and had to leave for gas to run truck machinery and he had leaky hoses, he was not careful with my belongings. I called Sears and had them come out at the 30 day mark and asked them to send a different technician; they SENT THE SAME GUY; he looked at carpets and immediately said the master looked darker and I had him take pictures of everything; he set up and in less than 30 minutes he said he was done. After checking the carpets again were soaked and refused to let him leave and made him go over sucking up water again. I also found water puddle on the top of a piece of furniture that he had no clue on how it got there (it had to be his leaky hose). I had him send pictures o me that he took of carpet coloring, water stains on drapes and he failed to send me pictures of my carpet and he said he was not sure why he didnt have them and upon asking him to retake them (he refused). I asked him to have a manager call me and they have yet to reach out to me. I strongly advise you do not use them.

One recommendation, improve equipment & tool maintenance process so that the technician has functioning equipment to complete jobs in a timely fashion versus fighting or replacing equipment to finish job/work order.I definitely recommend using Sears Carpet Cleaning because they cleaned my carpet & tile superbly!

I booked Sears last minute to clean 3 areas and they were able to get me in same day! The service rep (Chekyra) I spoke with over the phone was very courteous, prompt, and helpful. She even called me to let me know when the cleaner (Josue) was on the way. He arrived within a decent timeframe and was very nice and personable. I was 35wks pregnant with twins at the time, so he discussed a few things with me and made sure I was able to just sit back and relax while he took care of the rest. After cleaning the areas, he got my seal of approval and made sure I was satisfied and did not need anything else. Sears did a great job on my carpets. I am extremely satisfied and planning to go back to get other areas taken care of in the future.

I had both the Air Duct and Carpet Cleaning Services performed on the same day, by different crews.The HVAC was first, and Craig was the lead technician we had. Dealing with him was honestly one of the best service experiences Ive ever had. He was just a really great person to deal with, answered all our questions, listened to our concerns, and went above and beyond to get our system as clean as possible. I could not recommend him and the Sears HVAC service high enough, and when I need these services in the future, Ill definitely be calling Sears and requesting that they send out Craigs crew. 10/10 from start to finish.The carpet cleaning was next. This technician was pleasant and I have nothing negative to say about the experience. The only annoyance was that when he arrived both my wife and I asked him to work on the back bedrooms first, since we still needed to move and clean out some items in the front study. Yet he still started with the study, and we didnt have a chance to do anyhing to it before hand. Im unsure if it was just a miscommunication or he did it knowingly. Either way, it worked out in the end. He was only there for about 30 mins, but the carpets looked a lot better so I was satisfied, This was important for me because we have a 4 year old daughter, and I feel confident that she now has a clean surface to play on. There wasnt a lot of discussion, the service was quick, but it got done and the tech was pleasant when we did interact. For this service on that day, Id give it a 7/10. I also think he was at a disadvantage having to follow the stellar service we had received earlier in the day. Id still use them again for this service as well.Thanks!

Edgar G & Jordan did my duct cleaning. They were very professional and thorough. They laid down tarp and cleaned up after. They explained the UV light system thoroughly while installing it. They cleaned my vents and sprayed anti mold sanitizer.

I had sears come out and clean my carpet, this is the third time in the past year but this experience has been the best. My carpet has never been cleaner, the technician Wilio was amazing. He did a great job! The carpet looks brand new, the high traffic area looks like it has never been stepped on. He took his time and did a wonderful job, he even did extra dry strokes to ensure the carpet would dry quickly. Definitely will request Wilio for next time!

Jose and Edgar were fantastic. They took care of all my problems. They cleaned the dryer vent and reconnected in 2 places. They showed up early and completed the job without even waking up my kids. I really appreciate all that they did. I would definitely hire them again.

We hired Sears on 7-25-20 to clean a couch, love seat, and two chairs. Once the technician looked at our couch and love seat he determined that they could not be cleaned because of the material which was no big deal. Before he started on the chairs we inquired about getting a rug cleaned that had a urine smell due to having dogs. The technician stated that rug could be cleaned and that he had a pet enzyme that could be applied after cleaning to neutralize pet odors. We were given price and agreed to have rug cleaned and enzyme applied. 24 hours after everything was cleaned spots on chairs reappeared and rug still had pet odor smell. After looking at receipt we cant find where we charged for enzyme so we are not even sure if it was applied. We have made multiple attempts to contact Sears unsuccessfully to see if Enzyme was applied and to see what their policy is on coming back out and work on stains and to apply enzyme if it wasnt used (we were not looking for anything free just wanting to visit with someone regarding our concerns. I would not recommend Sears Carpet and Upholstery Care

Edgar G. and his assistant were very courteous, polite and extremely professional. I appreciate the time Edgar took to thoroughly explain the process that he was about to perform and upon finishing the job he informed me when the process should be repeated. Thumbs up to Edgar and his team.

Edgar and Jamarcus introduced themselves and came in and put on those little blue shoes. They asked a few questions and then started to work. They checked the unit and counted the vents. Tarps were put down and the work was on. They brought all necessary equipment and started cleaning those vents. i was told I needed a UV light bulb replacement and we added the exhaust cleaning. They continued cleaning vents and the big noisy vacuum did its thing. Jamarcus cleaned the mold from the kitchen vent. They finished, and Edgar prepared that invoice to close out. I enjoyed watching the young men worked so efficiently. Thank them for such a wonderful job.

Scheduled to have the AC vent cleaning. Israel was the one in charge of the service. He was very helpful and honest and offered a lot of tips in how to take care of our AC unit and prolong its life and also keep our air cleaner.I had a previous company clean our vents using a coupon that we got in the mail, they came in and tried to sell us a more expensive package right away.Israels honesty was the most satisfying part and he explained what would help the most and recommended some things we could buy and have them install, but at the same time, he did not try to talk us into buying something more expensive on the spot like other people do. He told us we could always call back to have it done at another time. Next time I schedule to do the cleaning, I will definitely request Israel again. I was very satisfied with his service.

This is my first time getting the ducts cleaned, and so far Im very impressed with the results. Ive been dealing with excessive dust in my room nearest the intake vent. Basically, I would have to dust every 2-3 days in that room. I have been pleased with the results. Been 3 days and no dust. It feels cleaner in here.Also the gentlemen who came to my home were so polite and professional. Explained the process, took care not to damage the floors, cleaned up after themselves (I was amazed at the amount of junk that fell out of the vents when they were opened). Very impressive. If possible, I wish I could request them the next time I have the air ducts cleaned.I would definitely recommend not only getting the air ducts cleaned regularly but having Sears do it.

Sears was exactly on time for my whole house air duct cleaning and disinfecting, and to vacuum out my dryer vent. They are very professional and thorough. I will have them back next year for the dryer vent and 3 years for my air ducts, just to be proactive and avoid build up.

Sears Air Duct Cleaning did an excellent job cleaning our old moldy air ducts amd vents. The technician Edgar G. Issac was very knowledgeable about the cleaning process and offered some tips on how to save some money, including 0% financing. He found some mold and offered several options for how to address it. He even took some videos and pictures of installed equipment and the cleaned ducts to show the completed work. This was helpful as we are physically unable to go into the attic and check the work. The work was done efficiently and thoroughly. Our house already smells and feels cleaner. Thanks for a great job Edgar G. Isacc and Sears.

After several years of service from Sears, this year was the worst carpet service I have ever received. I had my carpets, and dryer vent cleaned. It was two separate services on the same day.Upon calling Sears back to express concern about the service, I was made to feel like it was my error that it was somehow my fault the carpet was not done right. They claimed I had stains, in fact, I did which is why I called for service in the first place. I am not complaining about that stain spot; I am complaining that there are visible streaks in the carpet. This is not stains from kids or pets these are streaks from the machine. They would not accept pictures to better understand my complaint sadly, but they are having someone come back out but I still feel like I had to beg and that should never be the case in customer service. I received no apology. It’s truly sad; I am a repeat customer that not only did carpets and vents but upholstery as well, my dining room chairs.If my service is not corrected and cleaned to an acceptable standard, this will change as of today! There are so many other services that leave fliers at my door or send ads through the mail; I have a big selection to choose a new service.

They cleaned our dryer vent thoroughly and were very knowledgeable. Israel sent pictures of everything when they were finished. Also, they are the first to catch a damaged sensor to the blower after it had been serviced twice with a different company, Mundae. We highly recommend Israel here in the Houston area!

Michael and Jydarrein did a great job cleaning our area rugs, carpet, and couch cushions. They removed a large stain and pet odor. The whole process took less than 2 hours.We also had our AC ducts and vents cleaned, treated for mold, and sanitized. Edgar and Gino were thorough and explained the process. The whole process took just over 1 hour.

The guy quoted me a price of $170. I signed and approved to start the job. I added 2 more rugs and the price is now $300. I told him I had 4 large rugs before and 3 small ones, I just added 1 large rug and 1 medium one. How did the price go up by $130? The guys tells me his math was off before. I told him I should’ve just kept my mouth shut and not added anymore rugs. Plus they left all the rugs on the driveway and expect us to put them back. 😒 Just a heads up for everyone. Ask them if they will put the rugs back inside the house after they dry because they won’t think it’s important to tell you that they won’t and if you have 5 large rugs it’s not something you’ll look forward to on a Saturday evening.

I had Sears come to my house to clean my carpets last week. The young man that came was on time , he was very professional , and he did a good job. This was the first time that I have used Sears for my carpet cleaning and I will be calling them again. I am having them clean my couches next week also. I am very picky when it comes to things so when I see someone do a good job l dont mind letting them and the company know. I was very pleased with the job done and recommend Sears cleaning services.

Wilio was a great technician and worked extra to make sure that my wife was happy. He actually did this service 6 months ago but I kept his paperwork so that I could post this online. I normally dont do this but he was an excellent technician. I would definitely request him personally next time!

Edgar and Joey were very professional and right to the point. They put tarps and showed me videos of the work they performed. They gave me professional advice on how often i should clean my ducts. I really appreciate these guys for the great service.

Don did a great job of cleaning my dryer duct.He came over and had to do way more than expected. He was patient and kind. 5 starsI will call again if needed.

It would be good if Sears Sales reps could clarify what they can and cannot clean. The technicians arrived and informed they cannot clean our shower tile. They cannot provide any grout nor remove any of the grime or mildew. They recommended someone else from sears for 300 dollars only to remove the grout, but they cannot provide grout and reseal. I wasted time and 27 dollars for Sears to come out. It was not the techs that came out fault. Sales needs to inform customers what they can and cannot do before the techs arrive, and let the customer know there is a fee.. I will not be using Sears again for cleaning services..

James was very professional and courteous. I highly recommend his service as he provided solutions to every question I had about my floor. I would definitely used him again in the future.

Wilio was very professional. He arrived on time asked which areas needed cleaning. Advised on other services he provides. Prices are prices man. We did three rooms initially the ended up adding couches. We look forward to the title next time. And he was courteous enough to wear a mask. Highly recommend

Regardless of my carpets, they are really old and need to be replaced, the attitude alone of Anthony and Brodie is worth 5 Stars. From the time I opened the door, they arrived sooner than I thought they would, I was negative and rude. First thing I said was “she told me I had 45 minutes and she lied” and I continued to complain and groan about my awful day and they were so calm and patient and assured me it was ok. (I later apologized several times) They kept me updated on their progress and any issues with stubborn stains. Their professionalism and willingness to diffuse my awful negativity, while completing the job efficiently and in great timing- they had a sense of urgency (Most likely to get away from me), is what impressed me the most. Thank you thank you!

Very disappointed in the customer service here. Requested a morning appointment multiple times with several employees here and scheduled a couple weeks in advance to ensure it would be early. Was told at 11 am today that the technician is on his way to his second house and we would be after that. Explained again that I can not do an afternoon cleaning and was told they were sorry they couldnt meet my request and maybe I should be more flexible with my available time. I have two kids to schedule around and this was the only time that worked for us- which I explained several times beforehand as well. Horrible customer service- do not try to work with them!

Darrel and Joshua were very professional. They explained what they were going to do and counted all the ducts. They suggested further solutions to their new findings while looking at the ducts and explained the extra services to help solve our problem. There was 3 vents that they weren’t able to get to clean because it was too high but ,besides that, pretty great job. Joshua was very kind and asked for a broom to clean up the dust caused by the machine . The value for all the work done was really great as well.

Professional, courteous, and knowledgeable folks. I can breath much better now that my ducts have been clean. Two problems though: 1) I was acting on a promotional when I called Sears. I gave the scheduler the number of registers and intakes I had. She did not say that there would be an extra chard for any ducts over 8 per AC system. The extra cost was an unhappy surprise.2) the guys that came to the house did not put the furniture back the way they were after cleaning the ducts.I give it a 4 star review because the guys cleaning my ducts went out of their way to show me photos of my ac system. I would have given a 5 star review but the surprise expense and the failure to move my furniture back bothered me.

Anthony and Robert were great! Explained everything and moved things I didn’t think about moving out of the way. They were always very respectful and kind! So far my carpets look great! They were right on time as well!

I had a very bad experience, I do not recommend this service to anyone. Their way of charge is different. I had my service deal with $300 end up paying $450, without closets included. Not happy with the way they deal. DONT GET THEM IN YOUR HOUSE TO CLEAN, THEY ARE COMING TO ROB YOU.I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY ALSO SO RUDE, rather helping in situation they start to argue.Again, I am not saying that they did bad job. Customer service is the one keep companies in business, and I wish to see that improvement in Sears.I try not do business with Sears in future.

Kendricks and Edgar came out to clean our dryer ducts in our new home. Thank God we had this done as the ducts were clogged and they discovered a damaged duct pipe that potentially could have led to a fire. Both Gentlemen were professional and very pleasant.Thank you sears for great service!

The team arrived as scheduled, they were friendly and professional. They cleaned four rooms of carpet, even got up old stains, and made the carpets like new again. I would definitely call Sears out again for the next cleaning job.

I had my stairs and landing cleaned on the 22nd of this month. The price was $117. The guy asked if I wanted carpet protector for additional $35. I fell for it, big mistake! It was a small amount of liquid that I could have bought at the store myself for a fraction of the price that the guy sprayed on the stairs. I waited for 2 days for the carpet to dry so I can see the quality of their work. I am disappointed! The stairs are still dirty! I have spots upstairs that I pretreated before they arrived but the carpet cleaning job hardly helped get rid of the spots. I wont use Sears again. Its either your equipment doesnt do a good job, or the people you hire dont care about the quality of their work.07/31: I just saw the a reply on my review so I thought that was nice of Sears to address my issue. I called the telephone number, only to feel more annoyed. The rep on the other line sounded nice, yes but all she did was go and on about the possibility that some stains are permanent and repeated over and over again what I told her previously- she reiterated how the constant foot traffic of one person could have caused it and that some stains are permanent and on and on . She talked more than I did, repeating her lines over and over again so I questioned if she was a real person or a robot? You know, when a dissatisfied customer calls, please be more empathetic instead of try and justify the service that was done previously. Dont talk more than the customer. Hear them out. Listen more. Talk less, young lady. Learn the art of listening, empathy. I will give a better review when my issue has been addressed because I know what is fair. This review is about my unpleasant experience with your customer service person on the phone. I dont want to be mean, I just want a good service! You guys dont want a negative review either but consumers pay money for the service and therefore, expect their moneys worth.

I am very disapointed with the tile and grout cleaning from Sears. Their machines dont clean around the edges and corners. There are also several smudge marks left everywhere. We paid 500 for clean floors. They are still dirty after the 2nd visit. We complained after the first visit so they sent someone back out. He came with a few towels but as I run my hand around the corners there is still dirt. He did not reclean the tile as he said that service was already done. What a joke! We have missing tile grout now too by the front door. I guess thats the only area they touched. I would never recommend this company to anyone!

Both Eduardo and Edgar were courteous and professional. They explained the process completely. They did a very through job, they showed me before and after pictures. They covered my furniture swept the floors to do there best to leave my home the same way they found it.

Very dissatisfactory handling of business. Sears did not make it clear to the customer that when technicians come out to homes, bills and charges will have to be paid upfront. We were asking for quote/estimate and then Sears sent a technician to the house, only to be surprised with a huge bill, and even threatened by Sears Customer Care to send cops to the house if not paid that very moment. Never again will we deal with Sears, extremely awful business practice.

For the first time, since I started using this service over the years, SEARS sent one technician, Mr Wilio Pavilus. This is my best service yet, from SEARS. Mr. Wilio was professional, he respected my home, executed the job flawlessly and in a time efficient manner. I am definitely a happy customer.

Kendrick did a fantastic job and was professional and very polite. He was proactive in making sure 100 percent and wonderful cleaning!Daryl went above what I expected and got on the roof to ensure a 100 percent clean. If he would not have done this, he would have never discovered that the screen had paint on it and it would have clogged up in the near future!

Carpet Cleaning:Like always Luis did an outstanding job. I have never encountered anyone who works so hard. He cleans the carpet as if its his own, which is amazing as a lot of people show difference when it comes to work and when they are doing it for themselves. Luis keep up the good work. Sears dont ever let him go!

BEWARE…hired Sears to clean my HVAC ducts and purchased 2 UV lights for ~ $800 based on their recommendation…continued to smell a musty odor, so hired my a/c company to check out my complete HVAC system…learned that Sears did not connect one UV light and the other was wired incorrectly and a fire hazard…have pictures and testimony from my a/c company and the electrician Sears hired to check it out. Now have to replace my duct system and Sears will not refund the costs of UV lights. Sears Customer Service Rep, Maria Butler, is unprofessional and distorts the facts…will pursue legal action!

Everything was seamless and fast. My carpet is 10 years old and it looks brand new. Animal and heavy traffic stains were no match for the thorough job. Scheduling and the actual cleaning were very easy. I didnt have to move anything. It was all taken care of by Jonathan. Thanks for a good job!!

Lamont did an excellent job. I was concerned that he was by himself when usually there are 2 technicians. However he was able to move all furniture and do a thorough cleaning by himself in good time. He was very professional andfriendly.

My technician was James and not only was he prompt, courteous, and professional but he did an amazing job cleaning my carpet! James was able to lift stains that a previous company weren’t able to remove...will definitely use Sears again!

Not only was he very professional, but he also gave very good tips afterwards to keep the same thing from happening again. I will be using them again to clean my AC vents when I need to get that done and would highly recommend Craig and his crew to anyone I know.
