After tirelessly searching for a reliable and professional air duct cleaning service, I stumbled across Mr. Barr—and what a blessing that was! From the very first conversation, his honesty and expertise stood out. Unlike many contractors who seem more interested in squeezing every dollar out of you, Mr. Barr was straightforward, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about his work.Initially, I hired him for a dryer vent cleaning, and I was so impressed with the results that I immediately booked him for a full deep cleaning of my air ducts the very next day. I found out that my partner was RIPPED OFF today with a simple dryer vent cleaning. Market average for a single story single vent clean out is 99-150 max. We were told by technician, Bar it is due to how dirty the vent tubing is and our quote was $400.00 but to be nice he knocked 50 off the total. What I don’t understand is the service was over and done with in 15-20 minutes. That’s over 800.00 per hour labor rate. Seems extremely excessive when competitors are offering $69,79 and 99 specials for vent cleaning. I could understand if our vent system required some repair but it did not, Just routine cleaning. We should have sent him packing when he inflated the price from 150 to 300 “due to the amount of lint buildup” to my naive partner. DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW MONEY AWAY FOR SOMETHING A REPUTABLE BUSINESS WILL DO FOR A FRACTION OF THE COST. I would love a call from management in regards to this matter

Bar was super responsive and quick to come out to help with our dryer vent after our clothes stopped getting dry! He quickly assessed the issue (lent all the way up through the duct) gave videos/pics, and resolved it. Dryer now actually dries clothes super fast!

Bar was super responsive and quick to get our house on his schedule. No gimmicks, no scare tactics (we had mold and he wasn’t trying to upsell or tell us we had to do anything special). The day of work came and his two-man team came on time. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning all my upstairs vents and ducts. From the first contact to the last goodbye, the manager made sure I was being taken care of to the utmost detail. He presented a couple of quotes that were reasonable and explained to me, in detail, the extent of the cleaning process.They accommodated their schedule to fit mine, came on time to the appointment, did a thorough assessment of the needs to bring the air conditioner, and ducts to a pristine condition. They did the worst job ever at my house. the guy who came in cleaned two air intakes only from inside the house, he said i will clean the rest from the attic and i said okay thinking he knows what he is doing. but i went to the attic and the is NO way he could clean the air vents ( for hot or cold air) from the attic side. all vent ducts are super dirty. and he also checked if my dryer vent is clean or not and removed the seal and never put a seal back (see picture). i’m really disappointed because i gave him the money he wanted plus 20$ tips and got the worst job done

Unprofessional, Unethical, and Unlicensed - Avoid This Business at All Costs!!!I reached out to this business for help with my broken AC on Thumbtack last Friday. Mr. Bar responded and showed up on Saturday. He hooked up some gauges and claimed my AC was low on Freon, charging me $475 to refill 5 pounds of it. After he left, the AC still didnt work, because it turned out there was an evaporator coil leak.I informed Bar the same day and he came back the next Sunday but said he COULD NOT inspect for the leak and would have to call his master to handle it. No one showed up on Sunday or Monday.By Tuesday, after suffering in a 95-degree house for two days (which I informed Bar about over the phone multiple times), I had enough and found another technician who replaced the evaporator coil and fixed my AC.When I negotiated with Bar for a refund on the Freon, he refused, claiming:(1) He was saving me money by only refilling Freon.(2) Its his standard procedure to fill Freon if the gauges indicate its low, and he would only do further checks if that didnt work.(3) It was my fault for not waiting for his “Master” to perform a further leak check.To make matters worse, I later discovered that Bar is not even LICENSED to do HVAC work in Texas. He should NEVER have touched my AC, hooked up gauges, or refilled the Freon.Avoid this business AT ALL COSTS. They have no issue operating unethically and illegally. Do yourself a favor, call TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) to verify their qualifications before you even consider contacting them for any work. Based on my experience, I would caution anyone against hiring them for any work.

Mr. Bar and his crew were prompt, professional and efficient.Update after 2 weeks...Fortunately, I experienced some of Shaylian Air Duct Cleaning Services work at my neighbors house. The air coming from the ducts there were like night and day. So clean after they got done. Fast forward to me doing damage to my ducts... Bar came out and assessed the job, he suggested that we clean the rest of the ducts as well. He gave us a great estimate, and we scheduled the work.Bar and his team came out and replaced the sections of ducts that I previously damaged and then did an excellent job on cleaning our ducts. They are simply amazing, professional, and do incredibly excellent work. The ducts in the house had been cleaned before ( by some fly-by-night group who were soliciting in the area ), but not the level that Shaylian Air Duct cleaned them. My wife and I used to literally see dust particles floating in our home. Now, the air is so clean and smells fresher than it ever has! And no more visible floating dust! I started to smell a burning smell, so I called Shaylian Air Duct Cleaning and this company was able to come and service my house that very same day. Bar, the owner/specialist, who came to service my house, was extremely personable, polite and professional. He was thorough and quickly found the issue, fixed everything and charged a reasonable price with a 6 month warranty. I was able to immediately use my dryer. I highly recommend this business! Barr came out to give us a quote that was very reasonably priced for a dryer vent installation. He explained two different options for routing the vent and the pros and cons for each. The two quotes varied drastically in price, but the cheaper option/the recommended option was also less of a fire hazard. Barr came to do the actual installation as well and was very quick, efficient, and did a great job. He was honest and polite and I would highly recommend. (Sorry if I misspelled your name!)

Great service, he was extremely helpful and very professional. I just moved into my house and there was mold in every vent cover. He was so great and took care of everything. The house smelled 100 time fresher once he replaced everything. I cannot recommend Shaylian air duct enough.

I have never cleaned the air duct and dryer vent since I moved into this house because I didn’t know there is such thing until I started noticing there is black spot near where the ac blows out. I called them in the morning and they came the same day. Fast and professional service! Highly recommended! They also showed me the before and after photos! From workmanship to customer service, Shaylian provides top-notch service. We had a serious mold problem in our vents that was making our clothes and belongings moldy. Not only did they provide exceptional mold remediation from our entire AC system, Bar identified the reason for the mold growth (leaks in the attic between the vents to the AC system itself) and repaired them. He also cleaned out our AC drip-pipes for better overall AC performance. Very clear why they have all 5-stars. Can not recommend them enough for any AC service needs.

Awesome experience! He Found our air vents were painted shut from the builder so for 2 years they were clogged and dryer would never work properly! Moisture caused loads of mold! Great work!!!

They cut holes in my fiberglass ductwork and in about 4 days all the fiberglass pieces they had cut out and supposedly re-installed was not done correctly and they had fallen into the ductwork or leaking. So I am handicapped and to go up in the attic and try to repair them the best I could.So I call them 3 days ago and they said they would come fix it and seemed very concerned, well I havent heard back from them and they are not answering my calls!So my advice is do not use this company do not let them touch your ductwork! Stay away from this company!!!!!!!!!!! Just wanted to edit my review they have not contacted me yet and have left me hanging with my AC still blowing into my attic and being a disabled veteran I cant really get into my attic and fix it correctly this company is a scam and when I contacted Scott who was the person on Facebook has now deleted his messenger account and when you call the corporate office in Houston no one answers and the mailbox is always full.I highly recommend you do not use this company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chimney cleaning was done to clean out a wasp nest and fix the poor installation of the flu by the builder. He also sealed the Chimney on the roof to stop more wasps from coming back (as well as stopping water from coming in). This is the second time we have used Shaylian for work and are very happy with their service.
