Today is Valentine’s Day and Jessica and Carlos made sure to make it special for all the women at The Sovereign at Regent Park. The lobby looked beautiful, flowers everywhere and we had a Prosecco and Rose cart, so cute!!

I had an amazing experience working with Jessica Alvarado! From the moment I walked into the leasing office, she was incredibly attentive, welcoming, and professional. Every question I had was answered thoroughly, and she went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. Her customer service was truly outstanding—patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. I highly recommend working with Jessica if you’re considering leasing here. DO NOT RENT HERE. THE MANAGEMENT IS CHAOS.I’ve lived here for five months now and my experience is not even close to what I was expecting from a high end apartment.1. Constant water shutoff. There have been SIX (that’s more than one day every month) planned water shutoffs since I moved in, each time from 8/9pm to 6am on a Tuesday. This is annoying enough; the most recent one was communicated to start at 9pm, I got home at 845pm just to be able to clean up / shower, but the water was already off. The concierge said it’s just because the contractor showed up early. Very frustrating.2. Central office is completely unreasonable. My HVAC bill turned out to be $200 for one month (way above the average $90 in that building), which was ridiculous because I was barely home that month. I called the management office to discuss the bill but no one picked up. Since the HVAC bill was billed together with the rent, i.e., I couldn’t pay for them separately, I asked for a call back to settle the HVAC bill before I paid for the rent that month. NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. I got an eviction notice 3 days later and a $175 late fee charge. After I paid for the HVAC bill and rent, they firmly refused to waive the late fee.3. Poor communication. I got an email one day when I was traveling for work that informed me that my AC was out, and that I was entitled for a $200/night for hotel reimbursement. One minute after I received the email, I called the number (for more information) in the email to know what’s going on. Someone from Windsor management picked up, and they told me they couldn’t tell that anything’s wrong with my AC, and they know nothing about the reimbursement. I then went home and found out that the AC was indeed out. It continued to be out for the next two months, while the management office sent out an email almost every week to say that it’s going to be fixed the week after.

Mike is absolutely the best concierge! He’s always kind, approachable, and willing to go above and beyond to help with anything. I always feel safe and well taken care of when he’s on shift. Truly outstanding service! Thank you for having such a fantastic team member in Mike

The Sovereign at Regent Square is in a great central location between River Oaks and the Montrose area. It is in walking distance to Buffalo Bayou as well as great local bars and eateries. The location includes and array of outstanding amenities such as a spacious gym, dog park, convenient dog washing station, and an immaculate resort styled pool overlooking a beautiful view of the city.The Concierge(s), Maintainence, and various other members of staff are very friendly and responsive. In multiple situations, I have experienced excellent customer service in a timely manner. I have developed some good relationships with all who work here and it has only bettered my living experience.I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for comfortable, lavish high-rise living in the Houston Area.

I have been here for a month now, my experience has been horrible, my ac was out for almost 3 weeks (still doesn’t cool unless I have it at 67 then it’s just freezing), the thermostat doesn’t even work correctly, my paintings got ruined during this time which they told me file with insurance. I have asked them countless times to fix things and they basically just slap a band aid on the fix. Fast forward now I have mold on my ceiling from vent not working properly, there so called fix was painting over the mold which started to bubble again. This has been by far the worst living experience I have ever had in my life.UPDATE- Going on couple months nothing has been solved at all do not move here i regret it so much.

Kyle and Jessica were great at spinning a bad situation into a smooth process of getting placed in a new unit. The sovereign management was responsive, courteous, and assistive when I needed them. Both went above and beyond.

Location and amenities are good. However, The property has plenty dog stool around the outside area where residents do not pick up after their dogs. Also, I’m not sure what’s with the water at times. I woke up this morning to my water dark brown, after running for several minutes; same issue. No prior notice from the building to expect water issues. The 2k+ a month for 1 bedroom seems worth it with the location and amenities, until you see these things.

I cannot share enough great things about this place.The view is fantastic, staff is friendly, place is clean, and maintenance is on point. The Apartments are in a convenient location, and 5/5 stars for me!

Building is nice and modern, management used to be great when Judith was here, but has taken downhill turn once Kyle replaced her. He is rude and inconsiderate, and ignores resident issues/concerns.Amenities are dirty, and a lot of service requests are handled poorly (maintenance is good, referring to escalations or non-standard issues).I believe the great reviews about Jessica are from her friends or for future residents, because she always tells me she will follow up, but never actually does.Due to poor ventilation (HVAC) design by Ziegler Cooper Architects, central air intended for the corridor flows heavily into individual units through vents, negatively impacting residents by pushing air at unwanted temperatures into their homes, and creating a highly uncomfortable home environment. Unit was freezing cold at random times, and there was no way for me to change the temperature in my unit. Judith would keep the hallways comfortable for everyone, but for some reason Kyle has made them very cold.Units do not have a mud room or entryway closet, but an entrance directly into the kitchen, which is not functional, as outside dirt and debris go everywhere. Some of the units have very little storage, so check them thoroughly if you are considering renting.

We have been living at The Sovereign throughout 2024, and Leon has been amazing. His honesty and assistance were crucial in helping us choose our apartment here. Additionally, over the past six months, he has promptly resolved every inquiry weve had.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Mike. Having lived here for over three years, I can confidently say that Mike is always courteous and empathetic. He genuinely cares about the residents and makes an effort to get to know each one of us personally. Ive observed Mike personally delivering food at night and making rounds to ensure everything is in order. His dedication and attention to detail are commendable. 10/10.

As a tenant for 8 years, the concierge team for the building has been the best I have experienced in town. Mike and Israel are top notch and very knowledgeable. Both gentlemen are always courteous, and go above and beyond their duties to assist residents and guests appropriately. The maintenance team, especially Lou, also performs at a high level. They are prompt with maintenance requests and provides follow-up reports when necessary.

Just wanted to share my thoughts from a residents perspective. I really enjoy living here! Always feel taken care of especially by Fadwa at concierge downstairs. She is absolutely amazing and ALWAYS has a smile on her face when I see her. She always greets me and helps with me anything I need. She is the absolute best and makes living her so much better. 10/10 recommend!

UPDATE 2024: Management and upkeep of the building have gone downhill. The concierge and maintenance staff are still awesome but the property is poorly managed now. The water is consistently being shut off and the elevators are consistently shut down which makes getting up to your apartment in a high-rise extremely difficult. The amenity floor used to be immaculate and is now often filthy. I still enjoy the actual unit that I live in with high ceilings and great views and I still feel safe, but I wish that the old management would return to keep the rest of the building operating smoothly. (2020 Original review: Renting comes with perks and the main one is an attentive concierge team with people like Carlos. Having someone there to be attentive to every request, make you feel safe and secure, and be the smiling presence every time you come home....He provides a level of service that can only be compared to the concierge at a five star luxury hotel. The Sovereign is a also beautiful place to live. It is located perfectly between River Oaks and Montrose and a few minutes from Downtown. Great amenities and spectacular pool. Great place to live!)

Jessica was wonderful throughout the leasing and post-leasing process. There was a slight issue with the initial unit I leased and Jessica jumped through hoops to make it right and with little time given the movers would soon have arrived to move in my furniture. I entirely appreciate her being tremendous at her job and working with me on a Saturday, despite her likely busy weekend schedule.

The Sovereign is a wonderfully designed building with excellent amenities. The staff are polite and courteous and management does its best with limited resources during a time of unprecedented cost increases for building management. Please give Lou a raise, and please tell Kyle to keep doing what hes doing.

I love living at the Sovereign! Mike is the absolute best! He takes pride in his work and always has a smile on his face! Even at 4am! Israel and Fadwa are great too! I want to acknowledge Lou as well! He always goes above and beyond!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Mold issues galore. Not just in one unit—MANY UNITS. It is a PROPERTY WIDE issue as confirmed by the mold remediation company that was finally brought in. Your belongings will be at risk of being destroyed, and your personal health will also be at risk as we all know the dangers of living with mold.

This place is so owful !Too much maintenance and the worst concierge.Kyle has never replyed our e-mail.He almost ignores what he should.If the community wants to keep the residents, the concierge team should be completely replaced.

The Sovereign at Regent Square has been my home for the last 2 years. Although we have had our ups and downs, this place is phenomenal. I love the maintenance guy, Lou. Lou always made sure to handle all of our maintenance requests personally. There is no one better.Kellie Fuller is fantastic and so personable. She was intuitive to all of the needs of the residents, I couldnt have been happier with her service and friendship.Management did a great job with catering to our needs at all times. The Sovereign at Regent Square is a beautiful property in a perfect location. Everyone on staff is so kind and helpful from the front desk to the leasing staff all the way to the general manager. The amenities are so nice and give you a taste of luxury. I would absolutely recommend living here!

We moved to the city to have a place to be closer to my husband’s work during the week! Really wasn’t looking forward to the move, but The Sovereign made this move seamless! Jessica was just amazing through the whole process and so accommodating! We also interacted with many of the staff before move-in and everyone was so kind! We toured several places before selecting The Sovereign at Regent Square and there is no doubt in my mind that we made the right choice!!!!

Just moved to Houston and really glad I came across The Sovereign. The location is great, but the units, amenities, and staff are equally as amazing. Big shout out to Jessica Alvarado, the leasing agent, who helped make the move in process seamless for me. Jessica went above and beyond to provide all details needed for a quick move in, as well as keeping in constant communication through phone calls and emails as I had to relocate from out of state. I’m not sure if I can say enough good things about this place. I have been at apartment hunting for about two days now and I have seen over eight of different apartment complexes. This wowed me from the moment I walked in. I instantly got welcomed by the valet, which was complementary. Kyle was the one that showed me around the place. He is so knowledgeable and made me feel super comfortable and at home. As soon as I walked into the unit, I felt like it topped anything I saw prior. I checked every box that I had off. The layout you’re super spacious, and the amenities amazing and the views are to die for. I highly recommend you at least coming and looking at this apartment before signing anywhere else.

I really enjoy visiting my daughter at this lovely residential property. Everyone is extremely pleasant and welcoming, including the valet team and front desk staff. I truly love talking walks on the property because I see all the adorable fur-babies in their play area who greet you with excitement!

I have lived at the Sovereign for over a month and it is absolutely beautiful. It is extremely quiet and the building is well insulated, I have never heard any of my neighbors. Kathryn and Kyle are both attentive and help to make the most of our experience here. The property has such fun events such as wine nights and pool parties. I love the package collection, parking security, and fitness center. I cant wait for the pool deck palm trees to be back!

What an incredible find this place is! My husband and I were in actual awe when we entered what would become our future apartment -- its easily one of the most beautiful views in all of Houston. The amenities at this location are better than any Ive seen in all our tours (including a stunning pool/hottub/outdoor shower combo as well as a gym that rivals a 24hr fitness). But the best part of this place is the people. Christina Jordan is our leasing agent, and I cant give her enough compliments. She truly listened to our odd and very specific apartment preferences, and she brought us to what is our dream place. Honestly, if I wouldve looked through 100 floor plans, I wouldnt have chosen this one, and yet, she knew it would be perfect for us. Everyone else has been wonderful too -- from the friendly other agents to the kind valet. Check this place out if youre looking for beautiful views in Montrose!UPDATE!My husband and I have been living at this complex for about a year now, and we love it. The view is spectacular and I dare say I couldn’t come up with a more perfect floorplan for us if I could pick any apartment in Houston. But the absolute best part of this place is the incredible maintenance crew.We haven’t had any serious issues, but like any complex, little things happen regularly. However, the moment you file a maintenance request, they start taking action.In particular, we have had phenomenal experiences with both Juan and Lou. They have done numerous jobs and our apartment, Far exceeding our expectations on timeliness and quality. But also, while they are in our apartment, they have both asked if there is anything else they can do to help. And they mean it!Living in a high-rise can leave you feeling like another number, maintenance issues being ignored or underappreciated. That is definitely not the experience here. If we ever have to move, I hope we get to take Juan and Lu with us to our next place!Truly, a phenomenal apartment complex in many ways. And what a view!

The community is well designed and in a great location, but the real highlight was the leasing consultant, Jessica. Finding the right place to move to has been really stressful. Jessica managed to ease my anxiety and help me sort through my options with ease. Her kindness, professionalism, and understanding was so appreciated.

I am probably the longest tenant here. I love the staff so much. Since I can only write one review I have to put more than one person.Kellie Fuller (concierge )is amazing. She is so sweet and on top of it. She always checks in to see how Im doing. Super friendly.Kyle is the best manager. Always working hard in making tenants happy.Lou in maintenance is so polite and always gets my work orders done ASAP. He shares his love for cats with me.Shania (concierge) is a doll. She always smells good because she loves perfume like me.Andres (maintenance) is great. Always makes sure Im taken care of.Last but not least Mike (concierge) If you want to laugh just talk to him for five min. He always has a smile on his face.I could go on and on but you just have to see for yourself what a great staff is here. That is one of the top reasons Im here still.Also are valet guys are the best around.

After 2 years of living at the Sovereign, I was contemplating moving to a different part of town to be nearer my sister. My roommate situation had also changed. I couldnt bare to leave the gorgeous amenities and view of downtown but needed a smaller apartment. Kyle, the awesome building manager, did a perfect job of making the move to my new, beautiful one-bedroom seamless. He is always so helpful! Im so excited!!

I moved into this community a few weeks ago and am so impressed, not only with the building and amenities, but also with the exceptional professionalism and friendly attitude of the leasing office, valet, concierge, and maintenance team.Despite moving to a new town that I had never visited, Jessica, my leasing consultant, did not steer me wrong. While the virtual tour of my apartment was wonderful, it did not convey the true beauty of the place. Having the opportunity to see the people, apartment, and amenities in person was exceptional (Thanks, Braxton). I recently visited this property with my realtor, Joey Williams. I loved the welcoming environment of the staff. I met Jonathan who was absolutely outstanding! He knew exactly what best fit my needs and was very informative. Kyle was also a lot of help through the discussion. The property was clean, well maintained, and offers a great price point compared to the surrounding markets. After touring the property and viewing the amenities, I will be excited to sign for the unit I selected.

The management and staff here are truly awesome. Very human. Judith, Gregory, Willy, Tara, Dell, Carlos, the rest of the concierge team, maintenance team and valet guys are like family. They know your name and have been with the property for a long time. Hardly little or no turnovers of staff. That usually means, this is a good place to be around. You cant always control your crazy neighbors but the team at the Sovereign is stellar. Location is perfect for urban living too!

Amazing customer service! I have been living in this building for 9 months after moving from one of their other properties. I absolutely love everything about this place. Concierge is always available and willing to help. Property manager and leasing coordinators always have a pleasant smile and accommodating attitude. The amenities are one of the main reasons I moved here, but the friendly staff is what will keep me here.

WARNING ABOUT THE 5-STAR REVIEWS -- The recent ones (from the past year or so) are ALL written by Building Staff and Windsor Properties employees. Skip the 5 star reviews to see the ones written by actual residents....-------I have lived at the sovereign since the beginning of 2020. At the time that I moved in (there was obviously a lot going on with COVID) the building was well taken care of and in good condition. Its not the nicest building in the world but for the price it was a great place to live! Awesome amenities and great location.However, since we got a new manager last year the building went downhill VERY quickly. Two out of 3 of the elevators are constantly broken (imagine living on the 21st floor...), the common areas are filthy and promises have been repeatedly made saying that we are getting updates to amenities but they rarely ever follow through on anything.The most important issue for me, since I chose the building for 24 hour security as a woman who lives alone, is the CONSTANT security issues. There is no communication from management and no action until residents get angry and involve upper management. I wont name the security issues on here but if youre looking for piece of mind that entry is controlled into the building this is not the building for you.My third year here they just attempted to raise my rent by nearly 25% for no reason at all.Bottom line is, there are constant issues affecting our security and comfort and the building manager, Kyle doesnt seem to have the sense of urgency or commitment to quality and resident satisfaction that should accompany the role that he is in.I have been dealing with management on some of these issues for over a year without long term resolution. I waited to write this review until I renewed my lease for fear of retaliation, but maybe now they might actually care....

I’ve been living at the sovereign for 3 years and just recently signed another lease. I love everything about this place. The building is always clean and well maintained. My favorite part of the building is the 8th floor pool ( awesome view). It is also super quiet in the hallways and the walls are thick because I never hear my neighbors.. The valet is great and always ready to help out. The concierges are extremely nice and professional. My personal favorite is Gregory. The manger Judith is also one of my personal favorites. She goes above and beyond for the residents.Ashley C

Been here for a little over 3 months so far. Great amenities to enjoy during both summer and winter. Staff and management is definitely top notch. Dell from concierge is extremely attentive, helpful and very respectful. His friendly manner makes you always feel welcomed to stop by and say hello. Hes definitely an asset to this place and one of the many reasons why I enjoy being here.

Ive lived at The Sovereign for almost 2 and a half years and will say that its been a great experience. First, I chose it for the location since its close to so much of what I enjoy- the parks, museum district, my gym, downtown and more- a walking neighborhood with loads of dog owners. After looking at so many properties I chose The Sovereign (and renewed my lease) since it is an amazingly well run building - immaculately maintained with service calls answered quickly. The concierge staff goes above and beyond for the residents and know us by name. The building doesnt feel overly large, but a nice community size with people having known each other for years. Pre-covid, we were able to enjoy many social events provided by the building. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is that I never give anything 5 stars :-)

TLDR: Toured The Sovereign but didnt end up choosing it. Still felt the place was so awesome that I wanted to leave a review. It should say a lot that Im leaving a 5-star review when I dont even live there!The property in general is incredible. Its luxurious, but not in a way thats gaudy or makes you feel ashamed to roll up in your 2014 Honda Civic ;)The 8th floor will make you consider signing on the spot. It contains most of the community amenities, including a beautiful pool and a spectacular panoramic view of the cityscape with maybe the nicest angle of the downtown skyline Ive ever seen. Oh and you can reserve a little plot in a good-sized community garden too!I dont care as much about in-unit amenities, but suffice to say you wont be disappointed. The fitness area is large and well-appointed, and has that same amazing view of the downtown skyline.Finally, a special shout-out to Kaitlynn, who gave me the tour and in the following weeks went above and beyond to work with me on finding a perfect unit. If I find myself looking for apartments again, I wont even have to think about where to go.

The Sovereign is a well equipped luxury apartment complex in an excellent location. The amenities are great and the staff are very helpful and polite.Recently there has been an ‘issue with the gate to the garage after it was damaged by a vehicle. The staff is well aware of the issue and I have personally spoken with an executive of the management company concerning this lingering issue. I’ve been assured the gate is to be fixed and the vendor is waiting on replacement parts for this custom gate, and like many things during this pandemic, the parts have been delayed by supply chain disruptions and bottlenecks out of the management company and vendors’ control. As an interim solution, the executive has informed me that extra security has been patrolling the garage to maintain the high level of security many at the Sovereign have become accustomed to and expect at such a residence.I have lived in many gated communities and apartments over the years and damage to gates is common as they get hit frequently and is it not out of the ordinary to have a gate out of service for extended periods of time, especially when replacement parts are required. The combination of custom gate for this facility and replacement part delays have left the gate out of order longer than anyone would like and it is being addressed.I am very confident in giving the Sovereign a 5 star review as their management was willing to spend over an hour of their time with me addressing my concerns, and the staff are very professional and empathetic to their resident’s needs. I can’t wait for the weather to improve to be able to take advantage of the pool.

I’ve lived here for 6 weeks now and love it! I had a fantastic leasing experience with Jonathan Kichamu. He made sure I had everything I needed to move in with zero issues. I really appreciate him rolling out the red carpet to welcome me into the community and his continued follow up to make sure I have everything I need!

My experience at the Sov was overall great. Want evidence? I lived there 8 years. Every apt complex has its ups and downs. But it was made so much better by the staff, particularly Jonathan. Literally any time I needed something - he went way out of his way to help me out. Lost packages, finding my car keys, lease questions. And if he didn’t have the answer right away….he found out and followed up. That’s very rare. Very grateful for him and my experience there.

Literally cried when my lease ended. The Sovereign is the best apartment Ive ever lived in. The staff was like family to me, making every experience personal. The property is state of the art and has the best amenities in Houston. The price is right and definitely worth its value. I love this place!

I spent the last eighteen months at the Sovereign and it was a great experience.The building is amazing with wonderful common areas and incredible views .But the staff is the thing that makes the biggest difference .From the Valets when you pull in, Del the Concierge and the others that work with him ,maintenance and of course the manager Judith they all work hard to make sure you’re happy .Thanks for a great eighteen months .Tom

I’ve lived at the sovereign for 6 months now and have loved every minute of it. The concierges, valets, and office staff treat all of us here like royalty, in addition to being so friendly and efficient. It’s like a community here and all the neighbors look our for each other.During the freeze last week in Htx Judith (property manager), Carlos (concierge), and all of the staff worked over time making sure we were all fine and had everything we needed. They brought a warming bus, have us free meals and water bottles, and just in general went above and beyond to help us through the crisis. It has been an excellent decision to move here!!!

This review is coming from someone who’s lived in Multiple luxury high rise buildings.I came for a tour and the concierge immediately sends us to the back (leasing office). There was 2 employees having personal conversations and looked at me as I was a disturbance.I felt so Unwelcomed… I literally didn’t even feel like touring it.This place is not welcoming at all. The employees at the office were beyond unprofessional. I went ahead and signed a lease at a actual luxury highrise.

Living at The Sovereign at Regent Square has been amazing! The property is always so well maintained and clean, and they are constantly working to ensure all the amenities are updated and modern for the residents! The Staff are incredible, expertly attentive, and always so friendly and willing to help to make sure every aspect of living here is held to the highest standard! The Sovereign is safe, clean and secure, and has been a pleasant oasis throughout the Pandemic/lock down! I cannot recommend living here enough!

This place is amazing! Not only is it beautiful but the general manger Judith is incredible. She really sets the tone for the place and gives everyone 1st class treatment. I love the concierge Dell, Carlos, Gregory!!! Omg I don’t know what I would do without you fabulous guys! And the valet!!! Y’all rock too! I just renewed my lease Bc I could not imagine living anywhere else!

I rarely ever leave reviews, but how could I not leave one for a place that I now call home?Unsurprisingly, Im giving this place 5 stars. Willie and his team have been so welcoming, helpful, and fun to talk to that I feel like I shouldve moved in way earlier.The perks of this apartment are all accurate on the website, and any issues I have with this place are the smallest things that definitely dont count as issues because Ive just gotten too spoiled and used to the treatment this apartment offers (I mean have you heard of anyone else whose ONLY complaint about their place was specifically I wish the refrigerator-filtered water was less cold? - Im CLEARLY looking for problems here and I know it lol!)Again, Willie made it way too easy for me to say yes to signing this lease, and I am constantly reminded every single day about how I dont regret that quick decision at all. I feel very lucky to have found this place!

I came for a tour and I was blown away by the hospitality and overall experience. Not only is it a beautiful luxury apartment complex, but it’s worth what you are paying. Kaitlynn did an outstanding job walking me through the application process! She was very responsive and answered any and every question I had. Definitely a place to call home.

The place is very safe in a good area the staff is amazing and there to help you, it is absolutely a no smoking policy but my hallways always smell like someone is smoking and from time to time on the weekends people will smoke in the pool area. Other than that this place is a 10/10.

Terrible management, I had an appointment to tour 2 bedroom apartments today. They sent us an email confirming our appointment to tour the building. I took off from work and my daughter took off from school, and we took time out of our busy schedules to make it to our appointment. Kaitlynn took us to her office just to tell us she had no apartments available for us to see, not even model apartments. If they had nothing available to show us, why did they give us an appointment and confirmed it by email? This was very disrespectful to us and very irresponsible act on behalf of the management. They wasted our time and did not even apologize for their disrespectful behavior. I am a businessman and a president and a CEO of a mid size company in Houston and my time is so tight and valuable to me. They asked me to come back later but I am not coming back to deal with such disrespectful people. I can not believe that they have no model unit to show us because every property I visited before had a model unit to show. I do not know if they did not have anything to show us or weather they did not want to show us anything for a hidden reason .If they did not have anything to show us is a problem but if the reason was something else it is even a greater problem.I do not recommend this property for anyone with dignity and pride.

We are leaving the wonderful family at Sovereign today due to a job promotion thats taking us to California. Houston has been great and a big reason why is Sovereign. The fit and finish of our room, the amenities on the eighth floor, and most of the staff are top notch. Gregory, Dell, and Carlos have been exceptional. Cannot recommend highly enough. BTW, thats Dell with the Halloween mask!

Bad service. You can see in the picture no one work in the concierge a while. Togo food on the desk and a few people passed by ask for help. No one work here.

This place is one of the best decisions that I made back in Nov 2019 to move inside the loop from the Woodlands area. High end amenities, great location (close to many restaurants, BB park and Whole Foods) and welcoming staff make this building a hidden gem in the Montrose neighborhood. Im super pleased with the level of service and friendly concierge staff and would definitely recommend moving here if you are on the fence!

The sovereign has been a great place to live from the first 2 months of opening to current date. I truly enjoy the location, amenities, valets and of course the concierges. Everyone is very kind and helpful when called on. I recommend this residential community to everyone.LC

The Sovereign is the best apartment building in Houston. I lived here for five years and only moved because of a new job. Below I’ll touch on my apartment, the community, the amenities, management, the neighborhood, and pricing.My apartment is huge, modern, and quiet. The building itself is new, having opened in 2014/2015. Feel free to ask the leasing office what your walls are made of. Being in a high rise, you’re likely to get concrete, whereas in a midrise, you’re likely to get wood and drywall. Occasionally I hear my neighbor’s dog or the pipes, but I never wake up in the middle of the night from noise. The windows and doors are also thick. I had no problems with flooding during all the heavy rains and storms. I also never see bugs or pests inside the building, which I consider essential.The community is great. There are many working professionals in their mid 20s to early 30s. There are also families with young kids and retirees. Everyone I met is respectful and welcoming. It’s a non-smoking building, which is a huge plus.The amenities are top notch. The pool is huge and has an amazing view. It gets windy on the 8th floor, but if you pull your chair around the corner to the lawn, the wind disappears. Due to the community, the pool doesn’t get rowdy in the summer. The 8th floor is a great place to read, relax, swim laps, grill, and work. The gym has lots of equipment - cardio, machines, and free weights - and never gets too crowded. Valet is a great perk and is timely with good hours.Maintenance and management are ideal. Maintenance will fix most issues in 24 hours. Twice I had appliances leak, and both times maintenance fixed them promptly. Management even replaced my floors for free while I was at work. There’s a 24 hour concierge, which means there’s always someone at the front desk. This is helpful for me since I often work long hours and get home late. If needed, they’ll do things like check to make sure you turned off your stove. I always feel safe in and around the Sovereign.Located between the hipster neighborhood of Montrose and the upscale neighborhood of River Oaks, the location can’t be beat. You’re walking distance from a Whole Foods, a CVS, a handful of bars/restaurants, and the outdoor area of Buffalo Bayou. It’s easy to hop on Allen Parkway and get downtown in 15 minutes. It’s also 15 minutes from the Medical Center and the Heights.You may find the rent pricing high, but the Sovereign is worth it, and you may get specials/rent concessions each time you renew.I recommend the Sovereign highly.

HORRIBLE management!!The new manager Kyle NEVER respond emails, it’s been months since the gate is been working. I have kids and don’t feel safe at all. And let me tell you that your rent will increase every year. But they tell you the opposite at the beginning so be aware of that.

I have lived here for multiple years! I just want to say the front desk makes this place run! I want to mention Carlos in particular; he goes above and beyond when he doesn’t have too. When the winter storm hit Houston a couple weeks ago and we had no power or water; he was downstairs in the event anyone needed anything just checking on residents coming in and out. I am sure he didn’t have to be here but he was. I want to also mention Mario; it could be 5 am and I’m taking the dog out and he has a huge smile on his face! Thank you!

First of all, the concierge are the worst! It’s almost as if they go out of their way to hire the rudest staff they can possibly hire. The public areas are disgusting, you would thinking they would bother to maintain them. If you want to throw away money on what is supposed to be a luxury apartment be my guest.

It was good until recently, when the water shut off becomes so frequent it becomes almost unbearable. The shut off usually begins at 9PM when most ppl are still using water. This morning the shut off was supposed to end before 6 AM(as promised in the email, no later than 6AM) and yet 1 and a half hour has passed and I still have no tap water in my apartment.

I lived at this property for over three years and loved it. My concierge at the time was what made it my home. Jonathan K. always went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, super helpful & proactive in addressing any needs. One of a kind service!

The Sovereign is great! The amenities, location, floor plans and overall feel of this luxury high rise are really top notch. I am impressed for sure. The leasing agent who toured me was really, really good.
