I believe I can share my perspectives living here for few months now. Firstly, I moved here from Seattle WA and it has been quite a journey. Alexis in particular has been awesome: she took care of application process, completion of formalities remotely and helped me at each step of the process, and we trusted her enough to confirm the apartment without seeing it.After we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see the apartment in person. The rooms are great, appliances in great condition. Sure, we had a few maintenance requests and that’s where this community stands out: the service staff is prompt, very courteous and professional.For a balanced review I don’t really have anything negative to say, except that their IT systems (notifications in particular) could be improved, but that’s not really a big deal.Overall, we are happy to call this place our home, and I’d say the pricing is competitive for a 3 bed apartment.

After living here for a few months I can genuinely say that this is a great complex to live in. Alexis was so helpful and kind since the day we started our application and to present time. She made sure that everything was to our liking and never hesitated to answer our questions. They were always honest & realistic which is what made us feel better about the apartment. We did run into an issue when we moved in but Alexis and the property manager immediately fixed the issue. The apartment itself is pretty nice and looks fairly new. I would say the quality of living here is 5/5. The community area has always been cleanable and welcoming too.

Cortland has been my home for about 7 months now and I must say that my experience has been great largely in part to Alexis. She has been the most caring and thoughtful person on these grounds and most of the neighbors simply adore her. You can tell she genuinely cares about the tenants here and it’s illustrated in the morale of this community. Cortland west has an overall, peaceful vibe with a culture of relentlessly assisting its tenants and as long as that is a priority, I will continue to renew here. Thank you Alexis for being an integral part of this community. We appreciate u and we appreciate the wonderful work the team has done thus far. Keep it up!

I recently stayed at Cortland West Houston with a friend for a couple of weeks, and I was thoroughly impressed. The property is beautifully maintained, with excellent amenities like the pool and fitness center. The apartment was spacious and modern, with high-end finishes that made it feel luxurious. I also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the community felt, which made it a perfect place to relax. The location is very convenient, close to great dining and shopping options. Even though I was just visiting, I can see why residents love living here!

Timothy, was a pleasure to work with! He answered every question I had about the process and the community. The apartments are beautiful! From start to finish Timothy guided me and my wife through the process and left us with the confidence to make the right choice for our family. We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

I want to thank the gentlemen in charge of changing the Cortland staff, especially this young lady in the photo. Now I can go to the office calmly knowing that this young lady will not be present. I was limited to arriving at the office to ask my questions due to the lack of professionalism of this woman. I just hope that my contract ends quickly so I can run away from this place. And someone is reading my comment. Please get away from this place as quickly as possible, for your own good and for the good of your children. The maintenance is terrible, and to do any administrative procedure, it is slower than the arrival of God on earth.

I’ve lived here for a while now, and I can’t say enough great things about this apartment community! The maintenance team is truly exceptional. They are always prompt, professional, and go above and beyond to ensure everything is taken care of quickly and efficiently. Whether it’s a minor issue or a bigger repair, they respond with a great attitude and attention to detail.

I recently came in for a tour and Ms.Alexis helped me and showed me around and broke down everything I needed to know about the apartment. She explained my problems to me in a simple manner.She was very welcoming and had a really nice persona. It was very great to meet someone like her, very patient with me. She’s the best leasing agent and I would recommend her to anyone thinking about moving into the apartment for her to be their leasing agent.

Cortland West Houston is a great place to live! The community vibe is really friendly, and people are welcoming, which makes it feel like home. The amenities are awesome—there’s a nice pool, a solid gym, and plenty of spots to hang out. Everything is well-maintained, which is a huge plus. It’s also in a super convenient location, close to stores, restaurants, and highways, so getting around is easy. Overall, it’s a comfortable, laid-back place with great neighbors and a really nice atmosphere.

I recently inquired about moving into this apartment building. It’s been hard for me to come across decent consults since I started my apartment hunting. Lex has made a difference in that, she was helpful, knowledgeable, and consistent. Although I am not moving here being that it is too far from my job her service was beyond. Even after I disclosed I could not move in she remained respectful. I will recommend her to my other friends and family.

Before moving in. PLEASE READ!!I’ve been living here since 2017 and back then the apartments were called Legend at Park Ten. I lived in 728 and 821 which were the smaller units and they gave me no problems. I moved into 1021 which is the larger one bedroom and had no problem. Right before my lease was up, we were notified that the apartments were about to undergo renovations and they were not allowing us to renew our lease, we would have to leave that unit OR move into a renovated apartment. I MOVED into apt 421 which was one of the only apartments available around the time my lease expired and that’s was PURE HELL!!! I have everything documented too, but from the time I moved in, I reported my apartment being HOT AND HUMID FROM THE VERY START. They TOLD ME OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT NOTHING WAS WRONG UNTIL MY UNIT WENT OUT AND MY APT HIT 90+ degrees. They had to hire someone to replace the whole A/C unit (the stuff on the inside of the APT) and it was STILL not. I purchased removable tint for the widows thinking it was the positioning of the sun. MY LIGHT BILL WAS ABOUT $180-$240 for ONE PERSON who kept the apt DARK to try to keep it cool. WHEN MY LEASE WAS UP, I REQUESTED TO BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER UNIT AND I INQUIRED ABOUT GOING IN PRIOR TO SIGNING THE LEASE TO ENSURE IT WAS COOL. I moved into unit 1031 in APRIL OF THIS YEAR, I hired movers and everything and spent about $500 for that. THE APARTMENT LIVING ROOM WAS ABOUT 82 degrees every day and I call and complained about that as well as pest control never coming when I put in a request. I was willing to pay roughly $2600 to break my lease as well as hiring movers again because the coldest spot in the house was the BATHROOM. The day I was fed up I ended up talking to the property manager, I don’t know HER name, but as I was talking to her, she let me know that because it’s the summertime and I’m on the third floor it’s normal for the apartment to be a little hot. She also told me when her house is 72° She be hot, and here I am complaining about 82° and she wasn’t willing to really help me out. I have a recording of that conversation that she and I had. They then told me that I would have to pay $500 to transfer out that unit and I was only there for 2 months.Fast forward to TODAY, I live in building SIX on the first floor. From the time I moved in I requested that pest control come and spray the house down because there has been ants, Beatles spiders and centipedes entering my house and I don’t know where they’re coming from. Every time I put in a pest control request they close it out and pest control RARELY show up and I know this to be true because I work from home and I have cameras all throughout my house.I’ve had maintenance come and look into the AC over here as well because again only the living room gets cold. My bedroom is always about 5° higher than any other area in my house. I have a digital thermometer in the bedroom to read the temp) Another thing is…. PLEASE MAKE SURE Y’ALL ARE ABLE TO DO A WALK-THROUGH OF THE ACTUAL UNIT THAT YOU’RE MOVING INTO ….DROP THE AC AND SIT IN THE HOUSE FOR ABOUT FIVE MINUTES OR SO TO MAKE SURE THAT THE UNIT ACTUALLY GETS COLD IN ALL ROOMS.Hurricane barrel came through and I had water enter my house from four different areas. I saw water coming in through the closet (my shoe boxes got damaged) by the bedroom window, and on the main wall where the headboard should be, and in the living room. I also sent an email telling them about the water and they sent maintenance the next day and maintenance told me that it was normal for water to seep in from by the windows, but it wasn’t just water coming in from the by the windows. My neighbor can attest, her water damage was worst than mine..photos are showing the parking lot floodingMy door being too easy to lock. One kick and someone would have broke in. Water damage from HURRICANE BARYL is the damage on the window and where the water was entering my home.

I recently moved into this apartment complex and I have been extremely impressed with the overall experience. The staff is friendly and always willing to help with any issues or questions that may arise. The grounds are well-maintained and the amenities are top-notch. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and modern with updated appliances and fixtures. The location is also convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options. I highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient living space.

Jessamine was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I really appreciate the expertise and insightfulness about the community. She was extremely pleasant and patient. She took the time to walk me through various apts and despite my indecisiveness she was still smiling and attentive. Great property and awesome people.

One of the best decisions ever . Breathtakingly beautiful property and the homes are even better . Wonderful staff thank you Ms.Alexis always polite friendly an willing to answer any questions I had without any issues . My whole experience made my choice very easy and has changed my perspective one leasing and moving .

My family and i have lived in this apartment complex since 2019 when it was still called Legends at Park Ten. The maintenance staff that we have now, is HANDS down my favorite. Pablo is the best! every time i put a service request in, they respond quickly and nicely! Pablo has been the maintenance guy who has come the most, he is always nice and polite. respectful when entering my home. Friendly and he works fast and efficiently!

I did a virtual tour with Alexis and I love the property. The unit are undated and love that they have a package locker room. Will definitely be applying 10/10

I love it here! I want to Thank Frida for being such a good help for me. I’m new to Houston and was looking for a place before I actually made the big move. & she made it so much easier for me. She reach out & was able to set up a virtual tour for me considering I was not there, Recommend a lot great places in the area as well. I’m just thankful she was so patient and understanding with me during the process considering how busy my schedule was at the time. & my apartment is everything I was hoping for so that’s a major plus!

I was looking for a new complex , I emailed through the website and Frida contacted me right away ! She set up a tour accordingly to my schedule.When the tour came , she showed us all the amenities and the pool was breathtakingIn less than a week we were moved in!Not to mention the great deals she gives !I highly recommend Frida! She’s a great host/leasing agent. I would recommend both this apartment and Alexis as their leasing agent to anyone thinking of moving places.

I lived in this environment for almost a year and I quickly left once I realized how extremely disgusting the environment is.1. Coachroaches everywhere2. Mice droplets3. You pay approximately $24 for “valet” trash, yet I take the trash out myself. Don’t get me started on how the trash piles up in the neighborhood dumpster through the week.4. The dimensions of the apartment make no sense — I can’t open my drawers if my bathroom door isn’t closed.5. The staff is EXTREMELY RUDE!The list continues, but I believe what I’ve said here paints the picture enough.Live at your own risk

Amazing apartments, patio is perfect to sit and catch a breeze! Pool in the complex at your convenience! Newly renovated kitchen with washer and dryer in apartment! You can’t beat that with this price!!!!!

My sister and I love this place from the first moment! We loved it! Alexis is definitely the best, from the first day she gave us a super pleasant attention, she is very cute and nice. She explained everything to us and in a single day we were able to do all the paperwork. We love this place.

I just completed my application process and was approved!!!! Timothy was such a blessing to this process he really worked hard and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of in the most professional way. No not rent here, you can find a better place for the amount of money they are charging. This apartments are not safe, one person got shot and kill at the parking lot while I was living there. The management does not care about security, security patrol 5 minutes a night if we were lucky, without anyone on call if you need help. The manager was very rude all the time I call to ask for simple questions. Garbage everywhere! I live there for one year, not once they cleaned the hallways, I send email, calls and nothing. The neighbors will leave the garbage outside their apartments 24/7 and the office simply ignored all the emails I sent and on top on this, they will charge you twice for garbage. $25 for valet and between $25/39 extra every months if you are lucky and the community didn’t throw a party, because they will make you pay extra for more garbage. Absolutely ridiculous. When I moved out, the apartment was Chrystal clean and they still send me $250 for moving services. Are you kidding me? Also they took ONE month to fix my ceiling fan and the windows are full of mold. I make them clean and they keep telling me that is only dirt. 0 starts if I could.

I would like to recognize Alexis Attia for her outstanding assistance during my relocation to a renovated unit. She quickly resolved an issue with my apartment front door, and then located a garage much closer to my new apartment than the one I was using. I really enjoy her can do approach and friendly attitude. She has been a blessing.

I got the absolute pleasure of having Timothy show me and my fiancé around the apartment complex. We were riddled with many different options before hand, and now are happy we never took them. When Timothy joyfully and genuinely greeted us at our arrival, it immediately felt like catching up with family. We were guided around and enlightened on the many wonderful features of the Cortland West, and presented with an absolutely beautiful apartment! Let’s just say we were sold immediately! My boyfriend and I rented a 1-bedroom apartment from May 2023 to May 2024 and we loved our time here. I wanted to live in a safe, quiet, conveniently-located community and that is exactly what we got during our stay. Wanda was our leasing agent and go-to person every time we needed something. She was always so helpful and easy to reach via email since I work odd hours. While we did have a leaking issue in the ceiling of our bathroom and our freezer stopped working, these problems were eventually fixed after I spoke with management. We would have happily renewed our lease if we hadnt found our dream house.

My experience has been wonderful so far. I’ve lived here for over 6 months and any issues I have encountered get solved almost immediately. I believe the apartment is completley worth its price and I use the pool, gym, and coffee machine often. Never had an issue finding parking, the valet trash is really helpful, and the maintenance team is very nice and always fixes my issues within two days. There have been some bug problems but their pest control normally handles them within a week or two. Overall, love living here and will be renewing my lease!

This is one of the few communities I’ve toured that comes with the washer and dryer. I toured the Town and Country and I loved that they have garden tubs. I was going to apply but it’s too far from my job. They offer everything I was looking for and Alexis really explained the pricing very well! Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for great apartment housing!

Amazing Community! The staff is so fantastic! I spoke with Timothy Carter and he was extremely helpful and great at helping us lease our first apartment! The property is newly renovated and looks gorgeous. I love all their pretty floor plan options and such a great location! Definitely would recommend! Me and my family love it here!

I would highly recommend Cortland West Houston to anyone looking for a great place to live in West Houston. And when you do come, be sure to talk to Timothy! Alexis was such a help when I came in. From the moment I walked in she was able to assist me with all my wants and needs. Looking for a new place gets exhausting after a while and it’s nice to have someone be patient with me while we went through everything. I told her all the things I’m looking for and she was able to set up the units in the order I wanted.I have narrowed down my search and will be putting in an application. Leanna was really comforting and pleasant to tour with! The apartment itself was really nice. I toured the renovated 1bed 1 bath. Although it was only 787 square feet it had plenty of storage areas (including pantry, linen closet, entry closet, and outside storage). It felt very spacious and homey with the bookshelves and built in desk. The only reason I took off one star is due to the construction around the area - there was a ton of traffic nearby and the construction didn’t really help.

I just moved in and so far I’ve had a pleasant experience. The community is well kept and the staff is always helpful and nice. I toured with Alexis. She was very professional and explained everything to my satisfaction. I will definitely recommend this community.

Me and my family have lived her for about 4 years now. It has been a good experience. The office staff is really great and maintenance is very prompt. The layout of the apartments and the amenities are great. We have had little to no issues the whole time we’ve been here. They really do pride themselves on making sure their tenants are taken care of. I highly I recommend this place.Pablo is one of the maintenance man here and he is absolutely the best. There was an issue with my air conditioner right before the office was closing and he came right over to fix it. (drove a hour) You can tell he really cares and is a very hard worker. Houston weather is no joke

I just moved in to the community 2 weeks ago. Timothy and Wanda has been very helpful during the whole move in process. The apartment is in a great location. I am loving the quiet neighborhood and swimming pool.

Originally I was overly excited to move into this apartment complex. It so beautiful and the apartments look great. Our tour was wonderful and so welcoming.Unfortunately the application process was a nightmare. We were first misinformed about the amount of pay verification they needed for the application. After 3 weeks were under impression we were approved based on communication and paperwork being sent to us from the apartment, and everything was good to go. We had sign so much paperwork and moved our utilities and everything to move in on the 1st. Unfortunately we got a call that we were not approved yet and likely to actually be denied. We had literally had everything done and schedule to move in on the 1st, electric, other utilities EVERYTHING. Due to this confusion and lack of communication we just decided to pull out and not move here. Luckily we were fortunate to renew with our current apartment. I would not recommend if you are in a time crunch to move. Maybe if you have months to move and are perfect you should be good! Again the apartment of beautiful but the application process was terrible.

Leanna was great! The tour was amazing and she was very insightful. We toured the 2 bedroom apartment and the rooms and restrooms were a great size, the patio was huge, and they even have a new washer and dryer in the renovated units. I currently live at the copper springs apartment and heard of this apartment. They definitely live up to what I was told about the apartment.

The community was lovely. Alexis made sure to explained in detail their pricing and availability. She was very nice and knowledgeable. I have decided to make this place my new home!

I stopped by to see what Cortland West Houston had to offer and let me just say, this is a place I can call home. What an elegant office with modern touches throughout but that wasn’t even the best part. The staff is what brings this place alive! I was greeted as soon as I entered the place. Even the property manager (Alissa I believe was her name) introduced herself and had me excited about what they offered. The model was beautifully decorated and the pool look had me feeling like I was at a resort. Fantastic tour I had and the rent prices were fair. I cannot say enough about the office staff at this apartment complex. You guys made me feel at home!!

I participated in one of best apartment tours that I ever have had the pleasure of receiving. Timothy Carter, you are amazing! Simply put, you should be cloned: Kind, patient, personable, professional, and knowledgeable. Timothy took his time in showing me all of the apartments in which I expressed an interest, and all of Cortland West amenities. And to characterize the property as impressive is a complete understatement. My advice: If you are so blessed as to be in need of an apartment, run to Cortland. It is absolutely unbelievably beautiful. Thank you Timothy for your time and care. I definitely will be one of your new tenants.

Please, do not waste your time. This place will literally take your app and admin fees based off of their third party leasing without taking the time to look into or give you an explanation as to why you were denied. The lady in the first office basically dismissed me and said there is nothing she can do or say. She didn’t put in any effort to look into it even though the email stated that someone in office will reach out to me. They never answered so that is why I had to drive there.I was able to get approved elsewhere the same exact day.Three days later after disputing with their third party. I was told that the file was updated and the wrong information was deleted. BUT they could not tell me what Information they were basing their decision on. 200 bucks down the drain.And also a tenant was in office taking about a murder that recently occurred as if it was okay in the community.Stay away!

One of my friends has been staying here for over two years now. The property staff takes wonderful care of their tenants. My friend has never had any issues with his maintenance request. I went to view a two bedroom and the lady there was so helpful and welcoming. You can tell that they truly care and are not just there to do their job. Thank you so much for making me feel welcomed and accommodating my needs. I absolutely cannot wait to move here.

I didn’t get approved for an apartment unfortunately, but I do want to take the time out to truly thank Ms. Adina for being super sweet and kind throughout our communication. She even helped me out after the fact and I’m so grateful for her! I also got my admin fee back and pretty quickly to be honest. The property is definitely beautiful, Ms. Adina is wonderful and I’m sure the other staff are too.

Im not typically one to write a negative review, however, I unfortunately did not have a favorable experience at Cortland West Houston aside from my experience with the leasing team, Adina leased my apartment, and she was wonderful!My experience began to alter about 3 months into my lease, in which a situation that occurred made me fearful to remain in my apartment, and I looked into transferring. Upon relocating to another Cortland Property (In which things have gone well so far) multiple issues arose while still at West Houston.First, Id noticed that my water bill was a couple hundred dollars more then it was supposed to be. Despite emailing management three times, calling, and speaking with the leasing team I never received help to understand why there was an increase. I took it upon myself to find the utility companies number, and found out that there was a misreading on my meter, and that theyd inform the property upon move out to make adjustments...and to credit my account (deposit.) As move out occurred, my deposit was incorrect, and at this point itd been 5 weeks since Id initially brought up the concern to management without ever receiving a response. As weeks passed by, I had still never received my deposit and I had to go to the office, email, and call multiple times...and I consistently felt as if I was a bother to the assistant manager, as Id called back I was told I have other deposits to look into as well and I was never followed up with.After 6 weeks had passed without having received my deposit, I searched the corporate customer service number myself and got everything corrected on that call, what the team was not able to do within a 6 week time frame I figured out a resolution within their own company that same day, and after 7 weeks I finally received my deposit. It turns out that despite what Id listed as my forwarding address, there was an additional number that the team added when completing my move out which is why Id never gotten my deposit.I was very disappointed in how I was treated, the communication and unprofessionalism throughout the last few months of my stay, and I hope that things improve for residents moving forward.

I just recently toured this complex. They have newly renovated and it was just beautiful. My leasing agent, Adina, was absolutely amazing! She was so knowledgeable about the property and surrounding area being a native Houstonian. I could not ask for a more friendly, kind, gracious staff member, answered all my many questions. I cant recommend her and this property enough.

I don’t live here so i’m only giving 3 stars regarding my tour. I recently toured with Leanna R. and she was great! Very personable, kind, and informative. The apartments were beautiful as well and topgolf is right next door!

Application process was awful. Originally we were approved after waiting 2 weeks. After we signed all our lease papers we got a call a week before we were to move in saying we weren’t approved even after signing all the paperwork. Before all this the apartment management was nearly impossible to get a hold of over the phone during the application process. This place operates like a scam and I would avoid at all costs. There are plenty of other places to live in Houston.

I toured this property two days in a row and Alyssa made my decision to start the application process so easy. The staff is super friendly, the grounds are well kept, and the unit and amenities are beautiful. I can’t wait to move in!

Safety has been a major concern lately. Since 4th of July, we had someone killed at gun shot on the complex. A notice was sent out and they did hire a patrol (have not seen it since the first week). Just this week 4 cars were broken into. It is concerning that these incidents have been occurring. Im hoping it gets better because the price point and area is pretty good. Neighbors are nice but safety has been lacking.

Legend at Park Ten Apartments is a quiet complex with the friendliest staff ever! This is my first apartment experience and the ladies in the office have taken great care of my daughter and I when we have a need or questions to ask. The maintenance staff are great as well. Another thing I appreciate about this complex is the mature trees and landscaping. My apartment is roomy and conveniently located and all of my neighbors are very nice as well.

Great Experience all around!! The staff is soo friendly and if you’ve never tried the gym or went to the class on Mondays, please check it out!! Totally amazing class and instructor!!!

The move in process moved really swiftly when i first there were slight issues with the apartment as a whole but over all the staff at the apartment got with me and handled everything as soon as possible and i love how everything was going so smooth. overall the neighborhood is quiet and i feel safe but the parking could be better but with everyone working from home it puts a damper when trying to find a spot by my apartment. The amenities around this place are really convenient for the location you cant get any better then this for the area! Ms.Kelly was also really great , she helped ease the move in process as well because i know i have demands and i like things done right and she handled that. every-time i needed something she was there and as well as the other staff was super nice as well over all i highly would extend my future here for years to come. Maintenance literally works around the clock like the fact i put in a request one day and they literally came that day and also the next to make sure everything worked perfectly!

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews and never have. However, I wanted to lease here but it looks like I have to search elsewhere. The leasing agent I was working with was very sweet but continuously led me in misdirection. She went from asking me for my last 3 paystubs to asking for paystubs for the last 3 months, had me send in documentation twice then told me it was already on file and wasn’t needed (as I already knew but wanted to comply). She almost never responded to my emails but called me instead, which was not an effective way of communicating as her instructions were never clear over the phone. She also told me to take my time with the application process but I’d now telling me I have til end of day with no clear direction. I’ve attempted to speak to someone else via social media, email and even phone call but have gotten no response. A little disheartening as I saw great potential in the property. If things change for the better I will happily remove this review

A wonderful place, very clean, a pleasant view and the lady who served us, Alexis, was charming, a very positive and happy energy, we loved her way of explaining and helping us, she made our stay very pleasant, I recommend this place 100 percent.

We lived here for 4 years. Adina is a wonderful manager. She knows every resident and is always willing to help. The pool is great, the gym is small but well equipped. Our concerns were addressed in a timely matter. Price is reasonable. Location is convenient, it is very close to I-10. We would definitely live here again.

These apartments are ok. They do have mice and the utilities are a mess Since new owner has taken over my utility bill has been 100-168. Big increase from when the last owners were here our water didn’t run anymore from 50-60. Not sure if residents are paying their fee when they turn the water off and work on it or not. Can’t wait till my lease is up in July. Rent is already 1200 for a one bedroom and to have to pay 168 In utilities is just highway robbery!

I have been living in this apartment from past 2+ years. The apartment units are fine for the price. The location of apartment makes commute extremely convenient. Being by the addick reservoir, it is easier to go for a morning or evening stroll. Though units are old, but well maintained. I never had any security issue. The community is quiet and peaceful.Office and service staffs are courteous and professional. All service requests I have made has been taken care of the very same day. Adina is a very fine lady. Always smiling and ready to help residents in every way. Overall, I am very satisfied at this place.

My husband and I recently moved after living at the Legend for 3 years. Overall it was a wonderful experience!! The community is safe and quiet, the pool is fabulous, and the units are decent for the area and price. There have been some management changes over the past couple years that have been a little rocky, but the current staff is absolutely wonderful. Ms Adina in the office is simply amazing and is always willing to help. She truly makes the community feel like home!! The Maintance guys are also courteous and helpful.

I have been living here since past 2 Years. Its been a very good stay so far. Gym is good. Good neighbors. Concerns were addressed on time. It never took more than 2 days to solve my tiny problems. I love the service. Property is clean. The apartment is close to parks. Especially Bear creek park. Its just 3 miles away. Very good for an evening walk/jog and some soccer. And not to forget, i just love the wooden flooring. Over all, excellent experience so far.

This is a nice apartment complex. Only problem I have is they switched management companies in September. Up until September we were being charged utilities. We didn’t get charged in September due to them transitioning over. Well we get our utility bills this month (October) and we were double charged for June, July, & August. We paid these utilities with the other management Legend at Park 10. So honestly only September utility should have been on there. Other than that the apartments are pretty decent.

Alyssa Ancira was the one who helped me. She gave me an apartment experience that felt like she was on my side and was genuine about it. I have no doubt that when I do sign the lease my days there will be smooth.

Came in today to install a coffee machine. Very friendly staff. Property looks nice and quiet. A little remodeling going on but the lobby is looking good. Cant wait to see when its all said and done.

Cortland West Houston is a beautiful property, I had a feeling of being safe there, and the staff are very friendly. I met the manager, Alyssa Ancira, who was helpful in showing me options and answering all my questions. Cortland West Houston is definitely at the top of my list.

If I could give no stars I would..the way the management team goes about things here are horrible…also someone was murdered (gunned down) in their complex parking lot and they never gave any details on what happened they’re just going about things like it never happened…very unsafe place the gate is always broken which means anyone can enter…keep looking this is not a good place to stay..trash is always everywhere and cars get broken into here..I thought this was a nice place to move to but since I moved to something way nicer this place looks like a dump to me now, they only have one trash can so if you’re on the right side of the complex BE PREPARED TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COMPLEX WITH STINKY TRASH IN YOUR CAR, that’s the most absurd thing I’ve ever seen. The area is not as good as you think it is when you get to the gas station on the corner it’s homeless people all around there and drug dealers. This is not a safe place at all keep looking

Came in to walk a 2 bedroom apartment for my roommate and I, and Ms. Adina was such a welcoming representative and excited to help me with my experience which Was by far the best encounter I had in shopping apartments in the Houston area. Unfortunately I was unable to lease because of availability and the time frame however would recommend to a family or friend and would be interested in leasing in the future.

We have lived here since we got displaced by Harvey in 2017! We had the best experience transitioning from such a horrible experience. The staff Kelly and Debbie have been amazing in the 4 years we have been here, they always listening and addressed any issues that arise in a timely manner. We love it here!!

The apartments were amazing and so was the whole community. Jeri was hilarious and very honest. Many places try to rope you in but just come take a tour here and you will be sold.

I wish this had a 10 star rating, because I would give them all to Miss Debbie. She went beyond her duty and with no hassle and worked extra hard to get me me in. I love it so far. The complex is clean and quiet. Its so easy to access the amenities. The apartment layout is perfect. And the office staff is awesome!! I took half a star because I have some really loud upstairs neighbors. Other than that, the experience has been great!

My move in Date was august 5th and was relocating from another state. I’ve been reaching out for days, plenty of calls to the office and the only person I’m able to speak with is Adina and she continues to reassure me everything was fine and that Wanda would call back in which I never received 1 call. I was told my application was APPROVED OJ AUGUST 2nd and now august 3rd on Thursday it seems as if I she needs more papers. I have not applied anywhere else, except copper leaf and I was told by Wanda that I would be refunded for that application fee considering it was the wrong location, still haven’t received that and now my calls are on a block list from the apartment complex and they stopped taking my calls after they took the money and lied and said my application was approved just to stop communicating with me. I’ve called numerous times to be absolutely sure everything was okay for me and kids to leave the state and head to Texas, I book my moving truck, movers and also drivers who would be assisting us this weekend for the move. There’s no way I can apply, and be approved for another apartment by in 1 day of arriving in Texas and because of WANDA DIAZ I DO NOT HAVE A PLACE TO LIVE AS OF NOW AND NO ONE HAS APOLOGIZED, tried to to reach out or anything and I’m being treated like I did something to them when they just ruined me! STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX, THEY ARE SCAMS AND WILL SCAM U SO BAD! They ONLY ANSWER CALLS FROM NEW NUMBERS ONCE THEY HAVE TAKEN YOUR MONEY YOUR CALLS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED AT HOW NICE THEY SEEM AT FIRST!!!RUN RUNNNNN SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING SCAMMED. This is totally disheartening and devastating. THEY DESTROY FAMILIES WITH NO REMORSE. I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED A LAWYER

Please think twice before moving here! These apartments were a lot better a couple years back but not anymore. The management is awful and always act like they have somewhere more important to be. The rent is VERY high and they charge you a lot of miscellaneous fees. The service requests take a long time to be filled and you have to try very hard to find any parking at night.

This complex is wonderful! Alyssa is so helpful and kind! The staff is incredibly friendly and creates a welcoming environment. 10/10 recommend.

I have lived here for 2 years and for the most part, the experience has been good. My wife first chose the place because it was the only one that didnt have crime scene tape(the truth) and it was close to work. The I 10 access is great especially with the park and ride feeder across 6. Also crime is relatively low. I have heard of no burglaries and have heard of only 2 sets of rims getting stolen. I have a work truck full of tools that has never been messed with. Its quiet for mostly also though people upstairs sound like elephants walking. Maintenance is ok which means they will come out quick but not necessarily fix anything. I asked 6 times for a drip repair(6 times they came out) before giving up. We did have a bad experience(actually horrible) when we tried to upgrade to a 2 bedroom . They call these luxury apartments but most of the units arent in my opinion. They have aging laminate countertops, sticky tile floors, and old pickle stained cabinets. Plus the apartment they gave us had had a roach infestation and it stunk like it. We pulled back the dishwasher and found hundreds of dead roaches and feces. We then saw there were thousands more behind the cabinets. Also I found sheetrock had fallen unto the AC unit after I looked for roaches there( there were hundreds there too. They did fix the ac unit ceiling and tried what they could but it was too bad. We cleaned ourselves, did our own repairs, and tried to live with it for a month before they gave us another. It was a tough time and we didnt get along with the new managers. However a newly remodeled (very nice) unit came open and they gave us a good deal on it. Plus they threw in the garage which made us really happy. I have since enjoyed the place and get along great with staff. UPDATE: Had to move before lease was up. In fact we had to move into a hotel overnight. The reason for the sudden move was the outside wall that had been leaking for years. We had always noticed a foul odor and we had a large pic become engulfed in mold. Turned out, the entire wall was wet and moldy. The outside stucco had issues that they just werent going to fix. They just covered it up with a little cleaning and rented it out again. Now I will give them credit for letting us out of the lease plus they did pay for most of our hotel room. This is why I only dropped them from 3 to 2 stars, not to one. Management really has thier hands tied when it comes to major repairs. Corporations will always cut corners and I doubt maintenance was giving them good info anyway. Maybe its just Houston and most apartments here will have issues, but I wouldnt reccomend this one.

I have never lived in a better community. The staff is so friendly and knows us by first name. They ask about my life on a regular basis and truly make an effort to get to know you. If I ever have an issue it is fixed promptly. I would recommend anyone looking to move to the area to live here. I love it!!!!

We have lived in this community for almost 3 years and it has been nothing but great! Yes, there is a little bit of a bug problem from time to time, this is Houston after-all, but nothing major or even remotely minor through the years. The community is very safe and the maintenance team is always quick to resolve issues when they occur which happens rarely. We are planning on staying here another year or two since it is a perfect location between downtown and old Katy.

I had a great experience touring the 2B2B with Leanna ! She was super sweet and informative and the the apartment was clean and decorated nicely!

New Cortland management is terrible. They have decided to remove our trash container and now we have to drive around the other side of the apartments to dispose of the trash. 1 container for the ENTIRE complex. Valet trash is not provided every day.... now were stuck with nasty trash bags for days inside the apartment since they will fine us if we put them outside the door. I wish the old MGMT would come back... they were way more comprehensive.

Its been 4 months since I moved here and I love it !.The maintenance is really efficient and responsible. You can hear and see birds chatting, singing and playing in this area. Some big trees are good for the city.

This place was perfect until the new management company took over ( udr). Since then, the service went completely down, they do not seem to care about break - ins to cars or even homes! They do not have notices about any crime in the area. It seems crime went up in the place after they painted the place a dreadful yellowish - brown color. On move out, they have a 60 day notice and if you are a day late you get charged the month to month. Take an 800 apt to 1500. They dont help you no matter how many people you refer, or how long you been there. The trash has gotten ridiculous, the next day after they empty it, it is overloaded. We overpay for trash and they have one container with once a week service? We are just glad we got out before they hired more incompetent people than there already is. The maitinence guys are the only good part anymore.

You will be comfortable living here. Quiet, clean, the apartments are cozy and up kept. The carport parking you get with your lease is convenient. Great apartment community to live in!

The apartments looks ok and are in a good price, unfortunaly the customer service is poor. We having trouble with the web page first in order to do the application so we call the office and no one answer, finally when someone pick up the asistance was rude. Finally we send the application but the company that they use to check people record (Yavis I think that is the name) make a mistake and the application was rejected. Again we try so many times to contact the complex to tell them that is a mistake and see what can we do in order that they can get our correct information, finally they answer that we need it to contact the Yavis company and deal with them (my husband have call two times waiting for more than an hour to talk with someone, no sucess so far). An email was send to the complex to see how long can they wait for this guys to send the correct info to avoid that our application get cancel, we send an email to see if in that way the staff of the departments can answer because by phone is impossible. By the way the company that they use to check the record have a lot of complaints for mistakes with the people information in their Facebook page. So be aware when you send any application to an apartment if they use the same company.

Came in just a few minutes before closing and everyone was still so welcoming. I was only asking for prices so i didn’t tour the community but the staff was amazing. When i am ready to move i will most definitely be choosing Cortland West Houston!

I recently just broke my lease due to a mold problem. I once caught adena the office manager trying to sneak into my apartment to see if ny bestfriend was living there. I confronted her at the door and she said she had the wrong key... how is that possible if all apartment keys are different????. Another time i caught kelly sitting outside of my apartment hiding in her black car trying to see who was going in and out of my apartment. When they saw my friend they told him he had to be on the lease to be there. They’ve been snooping around my apartment and got caught on multiple occasions. And the mold was never properly fixed it was just bleached and watered downed and painted over. I had to tell them i was going to break my lease for them to finally reconstruct the whole restroom ceiling and resurface the shower . Adena and Kelly are MISERABLE and have no life! Literally everyday theyvwere snooping trying to see if my bestfriend lived woth me . On several occasions they would send the maintenance men to be in our business. I would not move here ! The price isn’t worth the quality or the mold suffering!

Rude managment, dirty hallways, dead snakes, people using the pool at 2am. The new managment is horrible especially the new manager ( Fat & curly hair) She is rude and insolent. Please teach this woman some customer service!

Nice place to live Im happy here.... the complex is good nice and comfortable some of the problems like trash and some other stuff come directly from some tenants that dont follow rules but staff is nice and friendly specially Kelly Patranella she is very helpful and willing to help, excellent communication... in my opinion she is 1 of the best assets for the company and the complex thank you. 915

Apts are nice and very quiet Ms. Debbie is the sweetest and does her job very well only reason I chose a different apt is because I wanted to live closer to work!! Also priced at a reasonable rate..
