I recently moved into Domain at Kirby, and I couldnt be happier! The amenities are outstanding, featuring a state of art fitness center, a beautiful pool, and cozy outdoor spaces perfect for gatherings. The leasing staff is exceptional always welcoming, attentive, and quick to address any issues. They truly make you feel at home. The location is incredibly convenient, with numerous shopping centers nearby. Whether you need groceries, dining options, or entertainment, everything is just a short drive away. If you’re searching for a community that combines luxury, convenience, and outstanding service, Domain at Kirby is what you’re really missing out on!
Leasing office is very understanding and makes everything personalized. Maintenance is quick however they don’t see the repair through fully I’ve had to put in 4 different maintenance tickets for my washer causing me to spend 30$ in laundry each week and it appears they are refusing to replace it. If they could get this issue fixed I would have no complaints as a resident
Overall Amazing Complex!!!! At first, I was weighing my options with another place, but we chose this apartment building because of the amenities provided.Me and My family love the Pool and Jacuzzi and my husband love the gym.We have season tickets to Houston Texas. Now that we are only 15 minutes walking to the stadium Sundays are favorite day ever since we moved to Houston.Absolutely love this complex!!!!
I have had my unit for almost a year and just signed my renewal. Tonya has been guiding me and is fantastic to work with. I was happy to renew as I have found the apartments to be well kept up with and any issues that have arisen, staff and management have addressed timely and have been good at communicating updates. The pool is wonderful and the other amenities are great. The proximity to many favorite Houston locations makes it a great spot for students, medical professionals and anyone who wants to be near all the hotspots in Houston! I have enjoyed my apartment and recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to call home.
I recently had the pleasure of living at Domain at Kirby and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The amenities are truly fabulous, from the stunning pool area, club center, business center and the well-equipped fitness center to the Dog park on the roof which is perfect for walking your pet and relaxing after a long day.The leasing staff deserves a special mention; they are incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any questions or concerns. Their commitment to residents makes a big difference in the overall experience. The location is unbeatable, with a variety of shopping centers just minutes away(walking distance). Everything from grocery stores to trendy boutiques is easily accessible, making it super convenient for everyday errands. If youre looking for a vibrant community with fantastic amenities, great staff, and a prime location, Domain at Kirby is IT.
I’ve had an amazing experience living at Domain at Kirby Apartments. The location is perfect, especially for anyone who loves having quick access to both the Texas Medical Center and NRG Stadium. Everything is well-maintained and adds great value to daily life here. The staff is incredibly responsive and friendly, and any maintenance requests are handled promptly. My apartment is spacious, with a great layout, and the finishes feel high-quality. I also feel safe here, thanks to the controlled access and the attentive management team.If you’re looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable place to live in Houston, I’d definitely recommend Domain at Kirby!
Im almost a month living in Domain at Kirby, and Im truly happy! The office staff are very kind and attentive, the maintenance guys are always answering the requests very fast and they are nice too. The amenities are always clean. Neighbors are polite and take care of the place. 🤗💕
My apartment is also infested with ants everywhere ! Glad to know I’m not the only one because the leasing staff tried to make it seem as if I was the only one with ants and reporting it.Neighbors are loud and rudeNothing being doneMaintenance is good and do the best they canThese apartments can do way better than what they are doing and invest more money into these apartments so residents can live way better. Nobody should be living with infested ants or roaches
Had a truly disappointing experience at Domain at Kirby Apartments. Unfortunately, this company seems more focused on squeezing money out of residents than providing a quality living environment. The charges they impose are outrageous; for instance, they will slap a $300 fee on you for something as trivial as propping open a door, regardless of the circumstances. The upkeep of the apartments is subpar, and the overall atmosphere feels unsafe, with frequent reports of crime in the area. It’s disheartening to see such a lack of care for the community.Communication with management is another major issue. Khristina, and chard, is unresponsive to emails unless its about a fee theyre trying to impose. It feels like they prioritize profit over resident satisfaction.Additionally, the presence of numerous Airbnbs in the building contributes to constant foot traffic, further affecting the sense of security and comfort.I would strongly advise against choosing to live here. The combination of high charges, poor maintenance, and ineffective management makes this place far from desirable. Please consider other options before settling on Domain at Kirby Apartments.
Moving here was a great choice. There are a lot of great floor plans to choose from that is comfortable if you are needing space for a single person or family. As a student, the desk area in my apartment has definitely been a benefit. I would highly recommend this apartment complex if you are new to the city and need to be in an area where stores and shopping is less than 10 minutes. Very convenient location.
The office staff is super sweet and extremely professional. They answered all my questions and helped me understand the application process. Although I havent yet decided on if this location suits my needs, the property and staff are definitely at the top of my list of prospects.
My apartment is infested with ants. The apartment has tried several different ant baits and nothing seems to work—not even Orkins. It’s a problem because they seem to just sweep it under the rug but they also keep their own personal any bait in their leasing office. It’s to the point i can’t sleep because i think they are crawling on me. I’m seeing them in my kitchen, the built in the study, the bathroom and my closet. I am so ready to move out. Maybe the ants are a problem be because we live on top of restaurants—I’m not sure. The homeless people and pollution is also bad around the complex. That’s just something to consider when you are coming and leaving out. It’s unfortunate because Domain at Kirby is located near the Med Center & the staff is nice. The liquid in the pictures below is one of the many ant baits that didn’t work.
It’s been a pleasure staying here at domain Kirby I love everything about it from the staff to the amazing apartments and amenities been here going on 3 years I’ve always felt like this was home Tanya,Kristina and chard are amazing they make sure you are comfortable and they will always put their residents first!!! Thanks domain at Kirby family I really appreciate you guys for everything you do for the community- love from Mr.Perkins- 10/10 definitely recommend
I do not recommend it, be very careful in choosing this place. There is nothing security. I rented on AIRBNB because it was close to the NRG. In the instructions they tell you that you have to park on the sixth floor (visitor parking) PS. The entire building including the parking area they have cameras I parked my vehicle where all 4 tires were stolen. I reported it to the police (which took 4 hours to arrive) I reported it to the people in the office where they were very unprofessional, they said there was nothing they could do, to send them the police report to see if they could check the cameras, but obviously they couldnt guarantee security because security personnel cant stay in one area. Oh really? and the cameras? I was talking with a police sergeant and he told me that it is the worst place I chose, that these situations are very common in this building and also shootings. I am a person who travels a lot and to places where it is considered dangerous and I have never experienced anything like this. Not to mention the disrepair in the building and trash everywhere. Do not risk it, much less if you have children. I was talking to several residents and people who also rented AIRBNB and they complained about the same thing.
This community offers the perfect blend of convenience and comfort. I love the location, everything is within easy reach of all you need. I love the amenities! Plus, with quick access to the freeway, I am just a short drive away from the Med Center. I recommend 10 out of 10
I really really really enjoy living here, Tonya made the process really easy and Chard is a great guy easy to access if you have any questions. Literally enjoy all of the staff, the maintenance team is amazing and always here to help. I also really enjoy the community activities we are able to do together once in a while. But let’s talk about location! If you love the events at the NRG amazing location the food around here you literally can’t starve. My child goes to an amazing school in the area and plus the walk in steps away to move through out houston
I recently visited Domain at Kirby and the tour I received was outstanding. I saw the smallest 1 bedroom it was 725sqft which is way larger than other “smallest 1x1” I’ve seen! The living room was spacious and I totally feel in love with the kitchen island! The amenities are beautiful I can definitely see myself relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee in the club room! 10 stars for sure!
I love it here. I think my favorite aspect about this community is the staff. They are very friendly, always smiling, and are great people to talk to if you ever have time or questions! They keep residents up to date with community maintenance and events/socializers. Additionally, they have an on-call courtesy officer and a patrol officer that routinely checks the premise, and a on-call maintenance team just in case you have an issue after hours. I have only lived in two other complexes in my lifetime, but this really set the standard for me.This community is a 5 star place with a 10 star staff!
I love how convenient it is to stay here, everything is just around the corner! NRG Stadium, Hermann Park, museums, the Houston Zoo, the Medical Center, UPS, great food, shopping, and so much more are all just minutes away. Its also fantastic that Downtown Houston is only a 15 minute drive. The owner and staff are incredibly accommodating too. Highly recommend! :)
Domain at Kirby is definitely the place to be! Very convenient location near a lot of cool hangouts and the pool is beautiful! The 24/7 gym is probably the best amenity here!!! I will recommend to all my friends and family!!!10 star place in my opinion!!
Solid family environment with monthly activities for all. Pool areas, parking garage, amenities, with UPS, TACO RESTAURANT, SALON, TIFFS COOKIES, GYRO RESTAURANT etc.Kroger,, fiesta, and at least 20 other restaurants and shopping.NRG other activities around the area and don’t forget the rodeo nearby and numerous hospital are within the Stones throw. And In Price is outstanding
Since I have been here… I can definitely say that I really enjoy this property… At first it was a little rough but now it has definitely gotten better and I would recommend this property. It’s quiet it’s safe
I’ve been living here for a while now and WOW! Hands down the best place I’ve ever lived in. I remember I applied and moved in within the same week. I love how everything is just so close by, from groceries to clothing stores, all within a walking distance
READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!!!Travel Nurse here,I stayed here over an extended period of time and I believe I can give an accurate depiction of the complex. I subleased through furnished finders it was a quick and easy process.Pros: it is in close proximity to the NRG stadium and the medical center. You have a grocery store and a Target within 2 miles so you will never have to go far to get the necessities.Cons:This place is advertised as luxury however it is everything but that. Stainless steel appliances and decent countertops does not equate to luxury. Overall, the area is completely sketch. There’s homeless ppl everywhere. During my lease the building was poorly secured. There’s always a door unlocked to allow access to the building. (This is suppose to be a secure building.) The gate was broken the majority of my stay, so anyone could come and go as they pleased. When it is broken approach with caution bc cars fly in & out. (See photos Of truck exiting the wrong direction) It was very common to walk in the garage and see cars on bricks bc the tires were stolen. They have one camera and it faces the entrance of the garage. There is no roving security. Be prepared for packages to be stolen if you have them delivered to your door. (I had 3 packages stolen) My neighbor had a large delivery sent to their door and the boxes were ransacked. The thieves picked what they wanted and left the rest. (See photos) Due to its proximity to NRG stadium, this is a prime AirBnB location. Which is great for profit but it opens long term residents up for potential unsafe situations. On the weekends expect high traffic and questionable people walking in the hallways and they drive reckless inside of the garage. Someone hit my vehicle and left the entire bumper hanging off. Sometimes homeless people have made their way in and wondered the halls. ALWAYS LOCK YOUR DOORS. During the warm months the first floor is flooded with a putrid smell of garbage. The garage is often left filthy and don’t be surprised if you see New York sized roaches in the hall. Parking is assigned however it is rarely enforced. (See photo of white jaguar parked where it clearly says no parking) maintenance: don’t bother. It literally took months to get simple things fixed. I had one interaction with management. I had to get my fob fixed and the female upfront was short rude and unprofessional. The doors that are actually locked are broken- your fob won’t work and the elevator itself is an electrical hazard. The gym equipment is poorly maintained you can tell it hadn’t been calibrated in years. I don’t recommend staying here as it poses a safety risk and is ran like a Super 8 motel-not a luxury apartment. It is abundantly clear that whomever owns this complex is more concerned with profit than providing a comfortable and safe living environment.
Do not rent unit 1153. Apparently kirby leases these units to people who then put them on Airbnb/furnished finder. My slumlord (Tianna Morris) stole $500 from me, refusing to pay back my deposit (although I left the place spotless and have video footage to prove it) and my utilities were turned off more than once because she wasn’t paying the bills. I am in the process of having to go to small claims court.
It is a wonderful place to live. Very clean, beautiful amenity, and cheaper price. In particular, if you put a repair notice in today, there will be a technician coming to your unit to repair it tomorrow.
The apartment looks really good. Staff are helpful and nice. The area is actually pretty great. I would definitely recommend looking here for places to live.
Staying at Domain at Kirby was a great experience. The gym, pool, and lounge is good, not to mention you are a short walking distance to Walgreens, Kroger, and other places. But what’s best is the staff at the apartment, in particular Kristina. She was very nice and promptly responded to all questions, even on the weekend. Domain at Kirby is one of the better apartments in the area.
I moved in last month, and Tanya did an amazing job getting us moved in quickly and efficiently with no headaches. She even waived our move-in fees and worked closely with us to address any of our questions/concerns.The apartment itself is beautiful (just as advertised), and the building is well maintained with a friendly and efficient staff. If there is any sort of problem, they seem to always fix it or clean it right away.
💁🏻♀️Domain at Kirby is the best apartment anyone could ever have. It’s very relaxing, clean, quiet and safe. Special shout-out to Ms. Tanya, Mr. Chard and Ms. Kristina for being extremely friendly, euphoric, accommodating, effervescent and helpful. They always try to go above and beyond to cater to the residents needs. Being able to live here has always been my dream because of the luxurious amenities that they offer. All I can say is that I am immensely fortunate to have a courtyard view which I find it very tranquillizing. Thank you for your continuous efforts in making a difference.Ms.Tanya- I would like to let everybody know how much I appreciate you for being such a helpful leasing agent. Your attention to detail made the process of this move easy. I value your expertise, wisdom, and guidance along the way, and I can’t wait to refer you to friends and family in the future. I’m amazed by how you maintain your performance while taking on even more work. You’re a superstar!🤩I would like to compliment two of your employees at Domain (Kirby) Ms.Dina Gomez Arce and Mr. Luis Hernandez Moreno for the excellent service that they have provided. Their professionalism and ability to get things done in a timely manner has quickly exceeded my expectations. Such a commitment to great customer service is to be commended. I deeply appreciate their hard work and dedication. 👏🏼👍🏼♥️♥️♥️
The staff is awesome. The property is very nice with a gym and club house for tenants. I would recommend staying here. You will love it!!!
Don’t stay here! Key phone don’t work and too many scamming foreigners who list their apartments on Airbnb but won’t allow you inside of building. Scammers
The staff here at the Domain at Kirby has been absolutely phenomenal during our time leasing here. They are very attentive and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. The apartments are modern, secure and convenient to downtown, the Medical Center and the NGR Stadium to name a few locations. Ive communicated directly with Kristina, Tanya and Chard and theyre all equally courteous, kind and professional. This is a great property, a great location and a great staff.
I love their quality the year that I spent there I had no complaints about the apartments there also fancy and there clean I love there employees because they were so helpful too me 🥰 and I really recommend these apartments to anyone
Safety Should Be Your First Priority:-The community here is not good—people are very aggressive. If you want to put your and your family’s life at risk, then welcome to Domain at Kirby.Currently, someone moved into the unit below ours and is complaining about noise because there is no proper insulation between the ceiling and the floor. I have been living in this unit for more than four years, but now this guy has gone mad. He constantly hits and smashes the ceiling, even when we are simply walking. I am now living in fear as he knocks on our door at random times. He bangs the ceiling like crazy, even at night—10:40 PM, 12 AM, and 3 AM.I spoke to the leasing office, but they provided No solution. They simply said, I can’t do anything. I do not feel safe in this apartment complex. I am creeping around in my own home while paying more than $1,600 per month.Aside from this, there are multiple other issues. The leasing office keeps saying they are working on it, but its been over a month with no solution. I asked to leave the apartment without penalties for breaking the lease, but I still haven’t received an answer. I don’t know what to do.Now, I have a newborn baby and a 4-year-old child with me, yet there is no solution and no help from the leasing office at Domain at Kirby Apartments, Houston, TX 77054.---Other IssuesDo Not Rent Here – Your Life Will Be MiserableThey advertise this as a luxury apartment, but you will always find something broken.Elevators are constantly broken and take months to repair. The pool is dirty and rarely cleaned.Stairs smell like fish because they are never cleaned. You will never see a clean pool; it always has dirt and broken furniture like chairs.---Not Safe for KidsI always find bottles of alcohol around the pool area. It is not safe for kids.---Health Issues:Lead (Pb) Poisoning in the WaterMy kids developed high lead levels since we moved into this apartment. I have been living here for over three years, yet they refuse to test the water despite multiple requests. This place is not safe for children.Carpet Dust and DirtMy rooms are filled with dust, and a thick layer accumulates on the ceiling fan. I developed allergies due to the carpet dust, yet they never clean or replace the carpets.---Security IssuesThe garage gate is always broken, so anyone can enter at any time. They rent units as Airbnb, meaning you never know who might be coming in behind you at night.---Hidden FeesIf your refrigerator’s water filter goes out, you must pay $75 every 3 to 5 months to replace it—whether you use it or not.No AC filter replacements unless you pay for them. You must pay $80 per month for WiFi, even if you don’t want it or prefer your own cheaper service. The water bill is ridiculously high, making you feel like youre paying for a swimming pool instead of an apartment.---Final VerdictAvoid this place at all costs! It is unsafe, poorly maintained, and filled with hidden charges. Do not make the mistake of calling this your home.
The staff at Domain at Kirby are all truly so wonderful, not to mention the property is absolutely gorgeous and so clean! I definitely recommend coming and taking a tour.
This was the worst apartment we have leased. The management are so lazy and rude. They did not do their job correctly. We used this apartment for Airbnb but unfortunately one of our client’s car ended up with his 4 tires taken out due to burglary. The gates in the parking was always broke so anybody can just get in and burglarized cars. They did not have any security cameras. They did not even addressed that issue. When we were having issues with the internet connections, no one amongst their staff helped us. We had to find our way to do something about it. It was so stressful because we have had a few clients that we gave some discounts with their airbnb stays due to the wifi issues. The parking especially by the door to get into the apartments was always so filthy and smelled terribly. The hallway towards each apartment unit’s door smelled terribly … it’s as if something got wet and was not dried well at all. Complaining or raising issues to the management did not help as they did not act upon it.During our first year of renting the unit…all those times they did not get to change the name of who really was renting … they still had the previous renter’s name registered that was why our mails were not delivered for a while.Towards the end of our 3 year lease my husband asked questions regarding the termination of our lease but no one took that as a warning that we were giving them clues that we are not going to extend our lease anymore. Instead they lied to themselves and to us that no one gave them the warning about not extending our lease another year. Therefore, we had to pay them a month or two of extra rent even though it was not being occupied anymore. They just want money but they don’t do their job well. This is a warning to be very cautious in choosing where to rent or lease. The management’s that is running this apartment building are not worth the headache and stress, they don’t care and has no morals to even give their tenants the consideration as to what were being communicated to them. SO BEWARE!!!!!!
One of the best properties Ive ever lived in, everyone in the office is so nice, loved how fast the maintenance team is and not to mention that they have such beautiful amenities like the gym and the pool which I was there pretty much every weekend. Thank you everybody!
I’ve been in my apartment for a year now and it has been absolutely fabulous.. I will honestly say that my top 3 in the office are Chard, Tonya, and Kristina!! This doesn’t exclude the other guy with the beard who is super friendly and kind!! I just can’t remember his name. I never had any issue here regarding the building… I see complaints about the gate but like that’s only because airbnb guests abuse our beautiful amenities..and don’t follow the rules of the place the some of us call home.. I am an ACTUAL RESIDENT and can tell u the building remains kept up by the staff! The gym is my favorite because it’s ALWAYS working and in tact!!! It’s always clean.. there are PLENTY of weights… there are relaxing areas to chill in.. plus the nail salon is downstairs which is an immediate 10/10. If you love the med center area.. choose here ! It’s so worth it.
Wonderful Community and staff.I visited several properties, that day, however, I was so impressed with Tanya(staff member) I submitted my application the next very day. I appreciated how kind, professional, and knowledgeable, she was during the tour. The complex is impeccably maintained and the amenities were the selling point for me. You will not find a better deal in the medical center. The location is close to shopping, popular restaurants and entertainment. I would highly recommend.
I’ve been living here for a few years now and everything is always running so nicely and smooth but I wanted to give a shout out to to the staff here at domain at Kirby! I noticed they were cleaning around the property when this awful storm happened and they were able to keep us updated in a kindly matter! Thank you!
This place is amazing with great aminities and spacious floorplans with a great location around grocery stores places to eat and near the medical center! I will recommend this place to all my friends!
So excited Centerpoint got the power fixed here yesterday!! I wanted to thank my leasing office and maintenance team.My husband and I watched them do clean up yesterday. We are so thankful they were able to provide us with some type of updates even when they themselves did not have power at home. Thank you guys!!
5/5-Great staff, building, location, and apartment. Beautiful pool, new appliances, spacious bathroom, garden tub, etc.But good GOD the cancer that is AirBnB; (which management is thankfully no longer allowing beyond the trash already grandfathered in). AirBnB hosts and their horrible guests: Loud at all hours, inconsiderate, obnoxious, trash left everywhere, unsupervised children running around, ruining the pool and facilities, pretty much every migraine you’d expect when AirBnB trash infects a community. To the hosts and guests of the AirBnB units: please know that the entire resident community hates all of you on a molecular level.Thankfully, outside of the AirBnB parasites, this is a fantastic apartment complex and once that cancer is phased out it’s an easy 5/5.
I have had the pleasure of calling the Domain at Kirby my home, and I couldnt be happier with my decision. This apartment complex is truly exceptional in every way. The living experience here is outstanding. The management team is not only professional but also incredibly responsive and friendly. Any concerns or issues Ive had were addressed promptly. If youre considering making this your home, I wholeheartedly recommend it.
I leased this unit for a little over a year. I used it as an Airbnb and all of the low star ratings are all VERY valid below. I’m a licensed realtor and have so much to say about this place as well. If you are considering this place for rental arbitrage, DON’T DO IT! The building needs to be completely remodeled, gate was constantly broken, I put in maintenance requests quite often and so many other problems. Be sure to review your final move out bill thoroughly. I was initially billed almost $700. After months of back and forth communication with one of the new managers (there were a few times where he didnt respond, I had to remain persistent to get the matter resolved as he kept mentioning: take care of this asap before it rolls over to collections) the erroneous charges were finally removed and I ended up having to pay $62 (compared to the initial $700 I was billed). Kristina is a great mgr. She’s operating the best she can even though the circumstances are not the best. Please beware of this community. Not worth the headache.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience with this apartment complex. The staff is rude, communication is a mess, and safety is a concern. They are unorganized, changed my moving date, and left me stranded in a hotel for 3 days, citing unverifiable application information. Despite their delays, I found a different apartment that verified me promptly, providing keys within a day. When I asked for a refund, they refused, making the entire process feel like a scam. Avoid this place at all costs.
I’m very happy with my decision stay here. The property is very nice, convenient and safe! The amenities are some of the best I’ve ever had in an apartment building I’ve leased from. The management staff members are very friendly and responds to any concerns in a very timely manner. The maintenance crew are the best! Love it!
They got me to remove my initial review. But I’ve since sought legal recourse to recoup losses, and now need to add the 12k they are trying to charge me upon move out for damages and rent acceleration. I can only take responsibility for the two walls I left wallpaper up on. The space was in great shape due to it being a short term rental unit. My cleaner serviced the apartment 3x weekly on average. I also have a video of each room on my move out date. However, a final walkthrough was not performed so they’re just adding whatever to my ledger. Domain terminated my lease after I sent my intent to vacate. The reason I left? Air conditioning, malfunctioning appliances, maintenance and management.Maintenance was lazy and left notes on the work orders with weird reasons for not doing their job. Entire team will gaslight you when issues are brought to their attention. The washer was replaced twice “as a one time curtesy”. The second one had a violent spin cycle that threw the dryer onto the floor and almost crushed my cleaning lady. They just put the dryer back up with strips of duct tape on one side and shoved the stacked unit against the wall in my laundry closet. When it slid back out of place, it sat that way for a week. She was afraid to use it until it got replaced almost a month later.AC was constantly broken in over 100° average weather this past summer, maintenance claims user error every time. The apartment was regularly 85-90° after June. The AC blew warm air when set to any temperature and airflow was incredibly weak. After hours emergency maintenance line barely answers, the man that picks up doesn’t speak English and hung up on me many times without callback.Made it clear through email in my intent to vacate that I’m deducting losses from my last month’s rent and management was in agreement, until it was time to actually pay partial rent. They wouldn’t accept it although I’m legally entitled to deduct due to repeated negligence by their maintenance team. There is a property code outlining this and your responsibilities as a tenant to be able to exercise this right, to which I’ve done my due diligence. They’ve added an EV charging station but haven’t addressed the safety concerns with the parking garage. Just more vehicles to get robbed from.I’m not telling anyone to stay away, just be aware of the details these reviews share and make your own educated decision based on what you’d mind putting up with, as with any apartment community.Edit: The phone number is nice but you guys could just respond to my email
I have been at Domain for 2 years now. There have been so many improvements. The staff has worked hard to resolve the issues that have plagued the apartment community in the past. The building is clean, security is on point with the addition of security cameras/guards as well as additional lighting in the parking garage, and the maintenance staff and office staff are very responsive and friendly. They have even started hosting fun events for residents. They are doing an excellent job of managing the property; I am impressed by the turnaround.
My girlfriend and I booked an apartment through VRBO to stay here. The exterior lights looks nice; probably because it’s attached to a retail shopping plaza. It does have the access gate to the parking garage as advertised. One problem though. It’s useless! Once the gate opens. It stays open for about two more cars to come on through. Or pedestrians for that matter. There is little to no security personnel on site. Which leads to this being a 1 star review. Like I stated, my girlfriend and I were staying here for our vacation. The day we leave, we find that our rental car was stolen right out of the garage. Broken glass where the vehicle was parked. By the way, there is a surveillance camera right where we parked the vehicle. Once we made contact with the property manager. She stated that in order to see the video we would have to file a police report, get the case number, and then wait. Of course it took the police, Houston Police Department, over 2 hours to respond. Of course they were no help. But let’s get back to the property. When I checked out and return the key to the lock box as directed. There was a set of keys and a key fob left on top of the lock box.The key fob is used to open the garage doors and pedestrian access as well. So of course I took pictures and video and took the key to the property manager. It’s a wonder how random people get in. When other people just leave access keys laying around. It just says come rob and vandalize the place. I would never recommend living as a resident or renting a vacation rental on this property. Security is a joke and nothing against the office staff, but the actual owners / corporate clearly are trying to cover their own rear ends by not allowing video footage to be looked at on demand. Seems like these types of crimes are more frequent than not.
The Domain at Kirby caught my eye while I was DoorDashing. The outside appearance is truly captivating because of it’s great location and convenient stores below. I toured a couple weeks ago and LOVED the apartment, amenities, and spaces. Tanya did a wonderful job showcasing the Domain and everything it had to offer. The apartment I saw was a 1 bedroom and was very spacious, with a HUGE backyard/patio, high ceilings, a giant garden style tub and an updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances. But that wasn’t what sold me on the Domain at Kirby. What sold me was the comforting hospitality from Tanya and the leasing office. As a young adult getting his first apartment this process felt kind of scary at first but Tanya was there every step of the way working through it with me. She didn’t sugarcoat the application process and didn’t try to take advantage since I was a first time renter. Instead she helped me through the entire process and made me feel comfortable knowing that I could call Domain at Kirby home. She went above and beyond in making sure I knew exactly what to expect and even went the extra mile in helping me secure a unit so quickly. I abundantly appreciate everything Tanya and the Domain at Kirby leasing staff has done in order for me to call this place home. 10/10 definitely recommend to any first time renters and young adults. Finding a apartment can be difficult but the leasing staff at Domain at Kirby makes it as smooth as ordering Doordash on a Friday night :)
The best apartments ever..love the public areas, the pool, they are so customised for the best living experience in Houston
Spectacular property! The management is incredibly professional and the maintenance are courteous. Not to mention, I always felt safe with the visible patrol over the property during my coming home hours. I wish I could’ve stayed here longer, definitely will be back next year.
I am typically not one to complain and I can see my the owners response she is going to say she cant find proof that I am a resident but I rented through Premier Patient Housing. We have had a terrible experience and I would not recommend to anyone. The garage door is often broken so there is no security. We see people smoking pot daily especially at the pool area, we check to make sure our truck is still here twice a day. We have walked into someone breaking into an apartment one Friday night. One night someone tried to break into our apartment, the air filters have not been cleaned in forever (you can see the black dirt (I am hoping)). There is an ant infestation in our apartment that is not being handled, the kitchen stuff is as cheap as you can find. The knives tonight wouldnt even cut bread..The pool area is great but walking the gross smelly hallways is miserable. The keys hardly ever work which adds stress.Just dont stay here. Dont do it.. its not worth it. We considered moving everyday. We have stayed here since early July and our mail key still doesnt work either.A few photos of the ant I caught in one evening but scooping them up and sticking them to honey, the broken car windows
My husband and I have been here for 6 years now. The building has its pluses and minuses. But we have honestly liked living here for the most part. Well priced, the front desk staff is as helpful as they can be (changing managements makes it hard) and they are trying to make upgrades. So, overall, a great place to live. GREAT commute to the med center!!! apartment itself is spacious, huge closets. We are comfortable!!! Very dog friendly too! Marie from the leasing office has been kind and empathetic in various situations and we appreciate her doing her most to help us out!!
Excellent location!! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Very professional and courteous! Kudos to the manager and team!
Absolute worst experience!!! DO not AIRBNB or lease here under any circumstances. Was hosting tenants through their Airbnb program here and the condition of the community is horrible as seen through the various negative reviews. I was Airbnb unit here and they never came and repaired timely, garbage and vandalism consistently. Issues with check-in’s, and shady affiliates that they work with for Airbnb management. They work with third party property managers who try to lure people into renting or hosting airbnbs there to limit their risk…to add insult to injury. When I put them on notice of sales reps getting people to sign at their community under fraudulent/false pretenses, they brushed it off, like they didn’t both recommend that person and say they work with outside people that promote their community.Literally told them that people are currently being defrauded by an outside property manager that lives and works in their community, and they could care less.To add insult to injury, when trying to terminate lease under terms of my contract, they tried to lock me into an additional 60-days, and made me wait a whole month with little feedback or clarity. I have to call email and text soo many times to even get a response or simple clarity/information….Run for the hills…stay away!!!!It is by far the worst customer service and rental experience I’ve had in my life…. If you considering Airbnb here as a host guest or tenant, I’d HIGHLY recommend DO NOT. You will save yourself a massive headache. Seems like this is a common course of action.Should have known better by looking at the reviews….it shows you everything you need to see about this place.
Domain at Kirby has spacious apartments,it has garden tubs stainless steal appliances and high ceiling! The community has a warm welcome home felling. Amenities are absolutely perfect I can have Starbucks coffee and sit in the club room while I look over my morning emails with free wifi, which makes my lifeeee start off Wonderful! Domain at Kirby is definitely the perfect place to call home!!
Love this property! Office is always doing something fun for resident events every month!!
Only giving one star because I want to be able to write this review*Where to start, so we rented an apartment here through “ALLIANT CORPORATE HOUSING” or “Medical Accomodations Specialist” (name on airbnb) for almost two months for my dad’s cancer treatment stay and during our initial visit Adan showed us the apartment and while walking to the unit he told us not to worry about the long walk we were doing that day because the parking spaces were right here (and he opened a door and showed us the parking spaces on the same floor as the apartment) and it was not far from the units entrance. When we go over 2 days later for our check-in they inform me that my parking spaces were on the 6/7 floor where visitors parked and I had to take an elevator on the other side of the building to come in/out of the unit everyday which this long walk was not acceptable due to my father’s health conditions I contacted them and they never agreed to refund me the money even though I offered to pay the first week plus cleaning fee and leave. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! Regarding the complex its not bad just a lot of homeless people around the area.
I really loved the place, very hospitable, amenities are great from the lounge to the fitness center, and study room. Great place close to everything, grocery shopping is easy, very close to the nrg stadium, great community.
As much positiveness I had towards the Apartments, staff and experience collectively, this was simply. HORRIBLE!!!🤮🤮🤮🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮nothing lengthy, but I had horrible experience with the Lady in the office, not sure if she is the manager, but she sure does not have any courtesies towards ANYONE NOT SPENDING A DOLLAR A WORD WHEN SPEAKING WITH HER!!!She will start off by sweet talking you into anything to start off with, but eventually, “THE KAREN” comes out, when you don’t walk on the path she creates. As if you cannot see and hear the fake sweetness and cunning 🦊🦊🦊sarcasm in that sharp pitch. anyway, i’m glad i never finished my application here; Cannot imagine dealing with her for 18 months. The name Luxury in the apartments for these guys is just a front, behind is the trap 🪤
Tanya is great!!! The whole experience deserves 10 stars !! She helped us from beginning all the way to the end . Her alone made me want the apartment and we GOT IT !! It’s truly beautiful & we can’t wait to move in and get more of this experience !!
We had the pleasure of working with Kristina. Kristina went above and beyond to help us during our move-in process. We toured 6 apartments in one day and Kristina was one of the only ones to call and check on us. Throughout the application process and up until the move-in process she was very helpful and attentive. I never leave reviews, but I think her and her teams deserves one. I was weary about choosing Domain as my new home because of the reviews; however, I am glad I did because I have not ran into the problems mentioned in the reviews. Every apartment complex has room for improvement, but don’t be afraid to give the Domain at Kirby a try. It has only been a month, but all is well within our first month of living here.P.S. The hallways do not smell like trash. That was one of my main concerns as I was reading reviews so I just thought I would put that out there. Also, I feel pretty safe & have not seen all of the homeless people mentioned but only time will tell.
I have lived here for over 3 years. It is truly such a great complex. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I really feel safe with the gated garage and security guard. The pool area is very nice. The location of the complex is second to none. There are so many stores and restaurants within a one mile radius. It is also walking distance to the Smithlands parking lot and Metro rail stop. My apartment has been a favorite hang out spot for my friend group due to how centrally located the complex is and how spacious the unit is. The price is average for the location and quality of the apartment. I would highly recommend Domain at Kirby to anybody studying or working in the Texas Medical Center or nearby.
Ive been living at the Domain at Kirby for four years now, and I can confidently say its the best place Ive ever lived. Its a peaceful place where everyone gets along, thanks to the friendly management and neighbors. If any issues come up, the management team is quick to fix them, so our experience here is always great. One of the best things about this place is its location. You can find everything you need within a short 3 to 5-minute drive, like Walgreens, Ross, Fiesta, Chick Fil A, NRG Stadium, Popeyes, KFC, McDonalds, Burger King, the Medical Center, and more. Having all these essentials nearby makes life super convenient. The Domain at Kirby also works hard to make it feel like a community. They host lots of events each month with amazing food and fun prizes. Its a great way to meet your neighbors and make lasting memories. If youre thinking about moving here, I highly recommend it. Its not just an apartment complex; its a friendly community that offers a peaceful and convenient lifestyle that youll love.
I cant say enough great things about this property...Its perfectly located from TMC medical park and right down the street from NRG stadium. A PERFECT corporate housing/ Airbnb option. The staff and my host (PowercoupleLLC) work as a team in making my transition worry free. The amenities are AWESOME!!! Pool, full service gym and yoga studio w/Peloton bikes, gorgeous pool, business center(needs another new printer though), pool table and full kitchen in the all-purpose room, valet rubbish removal/recycling. Contact free access to retrieve your keys. Very secure. No one can even enter the parking garage without a keyfob and access is restricted to the general area of the apartment area on your lease/reservation. Meaning no random people roaming around exploring. My only challenge was the sensitive fire alarm system going off multiple times a week. They have since fixed that. This made my time here so much easier being far away from home. The apartments are gorgeous and top end appliances(i.e. front load Whirlpool washer/dryer an ABSOLUTE must.) The staff really is very pleasant to work with and QUITE accommodating. Thank you for everything PowerCoupleLLC and Domain at Kirby!!! Looking forward to the rest of my time here.
The place is nice but Probably my worst stay at this Airbnb. So noises I have been restless for my weekend stay. If you have 3 people trying to shower good luck, hot water will run out also.
Though this review is late as I no longer reside here, it still doesn’t change anything. It took four months for me to have Internet, though it’s included in the rent. That hassle is a whole story within itself! I lived on the 4th floor and the floors are uneven and it’s evident. The garage gate was always broken. We had security for all of a month and it seemed to be a revolving door with the chosen guard. The one leasing agent that was great was Kristen, I believe that’s her name. The guy, I believe his name was Shard, was a horrible mess. Stayed one year and refused to renew the lease.
If i could rate Tanya in the office a 10/10 I would ! Her customer service is great, shes very patient and she gets the job done . She worked hard to get my application rolling, ill be updating my review once i move in!
Stayed here in an Airbnb for a medical trip & this place honestly just made our stay more stressful. It was so complicated to get into the building to our floor the host had to call us & give directions & even they admitted the entry of this complex was too confusing. The apt inside looks ok & has plenty of space but thats where the positives end.Multiple elevators only one goes to 5th floor. Eventually we thought the fob stopped working & the leasing office had to show us a trick because they said the elevator fob sensor was bad.Helicopters all night constantly going to nearby hospitals, road noise lots of huge trucks night & day.Lighting is pretty dim at night all over apt.One bathroom vent had mold around it.No noise from neighbors except some guys blasting music in the garage one night.Hallways do kind of stink from people leaving trash outside their doors for a valet trash pickup in the carpeted halls. One of the bathroom doors is missing a handle inside almost got stuck in it...Ive omitted the other annoyances that were more airbnb than the complex but overall, would not want to return here.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO LIVE ….DO NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! Their goal is to take money from you and lie about charges!!! It’s not safe here as most doors are broken … as well as the gate … administration office is very dismissive about problems, as well as pressure you to write a good review when you sign your lease. There was mold, coming from the vents as well as consistent water damage and maintenance. Fail to repair in my unit….. please do not waste your time here
We’ve lived here for going on 10 months and have zero regrets. This is actually the first time I can recall my husband and I being completely happy with a place. The folks in the leasing office, especially Melissa, are the nicest most helpful bunch (none of that “now that you signed your lease we don’t care” attitude here!). The building is well maintained, the carpets in the hallways are regularly cleaned, the Maintenance Team is prompt and don’t mind changing lightbulbs for you (my step-ladder left me ill prepared for 10-foot ceilings 😊).The facilities available to residents (gym, business center etc.) are great. My favorite is the dog park on the roof - does it get any easier?! Add to that the convenient location and you got pretty much the perfect apartment complex.
I’m very happy with the improvements the new staff is achieving. They added cameras, the property and hallways are cleaned and maintained constantly by their maintenance, their office staff is friendly and always willing to help. Definitely planning on renewing my lease.
Coming up on 2 years living here and I absolutely love this place. Super nice apartment plus a great location for a good price. The staff are super helpful when you need assistance. Im very happy to be living here and plan on renewing for a while.
This apartment has a very high quality pool. Although it is hot in Houston in most of days in summer, it is comfortable for you to relax in a great pool. I highly recommend this apartment to all families. The in-room washer and dryer are very efficient and very useful every day. The internet is high speed so remote work can be carried out comfortably.
My name is Mark and I have lived at Domain at Kirby for around 5 years. I observed and experienced Melissas sociable/managerial/problem-solving skills. I have known Melissa C. for the last two years and, she has given excellent service! She has demonstrated all the skills above. I highly recommend her to be the property manager of the community. In July, the community had a resident event and, I saw Melissa & Deidre by the pool from the time it started until the time it ended! I was very impressed how they interacted with the residents and asking what can we do to make the community and your stay better at Domain at Kirby? Which is surprising, that they were so involved and concerned about the residents and the way we viewed the community. Every time you walk in the office I am kindly greeted by the leasing specialists Kye & Deidre! They really warm up the place! Before the current staff started working here I was considering moving out and finding elsewhere to live. The staff now is OUTSTANDING and really makes the community better!!
I havent had one single issue since leasing a unit here. The staff is super helpful and always so sweet. I primarily dealt with Chard and he was so very patient with me. My brother and I have an airbnb unit so of course I asked a million questions while moving in. He showed me multiple times how to get to our unit from the leasing office and helped guide me on keycafe setup. I mean he is just the best!! He willing assisted with absolutely any and evey concern we had. Customer service is amazing. I couldnt ask for anything more. Highly recommend this complex!
My story is too long for this place. I had this unit for a little over a year. I used it as an Airbnb and all the low star ratings are valid. I’m a licensed realtor and have so much to say about this place.. from incompetent dishonest staff to multiple busted windows/break ins. If you are using considering this place for rental arbitration, DON’T DO IT!
Please dont waste your time staying on this place. They like to vandalize vehicles and steal. The building is always dirty, with a lot of garbage, stinky and broken. There is no security, the garage cameras dont even work. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Pd. management doesnt even care about anything.
We stayed here for almost three weeks. Fortunately our vehicle was parked right near the entrance of the garage in a highly visible area but I was always concerned that a break-in would occur. I saw one other vehicle with a shattered window at the end of our visit. The automatic garage door was repaired while we were there so that added a little reassurance however like others have said numerous doors were propped open throughout the day and night. Our condo that we rented was nice. There was a sugar ant problem and some cockroaches but it is the south and there were a lot of people in and out. Freaked out the kids a little bit b/c we don’t have those where we live. The pool and community areas are really nice and made our stay worthwhile - the pool is definitely resort-caliber and we spent a ton of time there (hot tub was not working properly though). The hallways will be an initial design surprise in that they are weird and lifeless corridors, but we kind of got used to it. I would recommend for the pool, but the area around the condos seems a little crimey and all the reports of vehicles getting broken into seconds this feeling.
I have been living at this apartment community for almost a year. So far so good. The location is very convenient to the medical center, NGR Stadium, and many local stores and dinning places. I have read some of the other reviews regarding the homeless people in the area, and yes there are homeless people in the area, but you get that in almost any major downtown area in the US, and you cannot blame the apartment community for that, and the homeless people in the area really do not even bother you, they mostly panhandle by the intersections. I see police drive them on a daily basis and not one cop have given a homeless person a citation, so why blame the apartment community for that. The location is secure with exterior gates and automatic keys you have to use to gain access to the property. The overall staff is great. Melissa and Lisa have been wonderful since moving in. If you have any complications or concerns, they are quick to address those problems . They are always smiling and a joy to talk with, it has been a pleasure working with them. The only reason I am giving the property 4 stars is mainly do to the gym area. The gym equipment needs to be updated, along with getting the television service on the cardio equipment working properly. Often the equipment is out of order and the main floor needs to be replaced, not really ideal for a gym floor. Also, it would help if the gym floor were mopped on a daily basis. Also, with all the daily traffic in and out of the building, it would be nice to have the hallways cleaned maybe once every 3 months or quarter.Overall a nice apartment community with a friendly staff and friendly community.
Our Company always recommends us to stay with Domain at Kirby since it is very conveniently located next to the Medical Center.Fact that nearby attraction at a hand reach and maneuverability within the area is very convenient.Wonderful Office Staff and Very Professional Maintenance Staff.(Insider info)--- Breakfast Tacos at Liberty Tacos are to kill for...
Amazing location, close to NRG and Texas Med Center! Amenities are lovely
We had windows broken and things taken from almost 30 cars since the IN gate to the garage was broken and wide open for almost 3 weeks. I called the leasing office at least 3 times after this incident and the manager is yet to call me back, because of the managements ignorance in this matter, tenants whose cars were broken were spending $250-$450 (almost 10K in total easily to fix their car windows). Most people come here to get treated at MD Anderson and they should not undergo this stress on top of whatever medical issues they are already undergoing. I wish the management would have a game plan in the future to fix things swiftly and not wait for 3 weeks for something to happen.
Beautiful place! Maintenance is great, they finish your work orders very quickly. Office staff is very friendly. Location is very convenient, very close to Medical Center and NRG Stadium. Security patrol and cameras throughout parking garage.
Beautiful property and very convenient location.Maintenance team and office are great!!
PLEASE save yourself a lot of stress and trouble and DO NOT MOVE HERE! I’ve never in my life have had such a horrendous experience. I leased this unit to add to my Airbnb portfolio, on my move-in date the apt was just NASTY. I had to hire an outside cleaning crew to come properly clean it. Entry and exit gates STILL don’t work, they supposedly are having it fixed… yea right. Large roaches and trash all throughout the hallways and the smell is disgusting. They didn’t tell me they pocket 15% of my bookings, I had to find out through Airbnb. Staff is a joke, they don’t come out and address anything until you harass them. I really don’t even know how they’re still in business. They deserve ZERO stars.
I have lived at domain for over 3.5 years and it has been a great experience. The office staff is highly capable and very accommodating. The property is well maintained and very dog friendly. One major perk is the resident events. Typically they will have a brunch and a dinner one a month. They have a roof top dog park that is nice as well.
Best property I have ever lived in so clean and well maintained! 10/10
I scheduled a tour with Ashley ! She was very detailed and attentive. She answered all the questions my dad & I had. I am moving out on my own for the summer & I will definitely be coming back here , can’t wait 🤗
I love living here! The pool is updated and a relaxing and beautiful place to hang out. The office team is super helpful and maintenance is quick to fix any problems.
If I can leave 0 stars, I would. We lived in this apartment complex for 5 years and were happy with the original management. They were willing to work with the tenants to make them happy. We painted our walls ( 2 sides ) to different color because our daughter likes certain colors. We lived in 3 different floors during our stay and there was not a single charge when we moved to different floors. They offered to paint our walls, there was no charge to paint the walls back to the original color. They made our move(s) as easy as it could be.However, when it was time to move out (with the new management ), the service was not what we expected. They charge you for EVERYTHING.They are charging $550 for the re-painting the TWO walls. Its not even a whole room!!!!When I called to dispute, they say, this is prorated/discounted price. Before, it was almost $800!!!And this was FINAL bill. They are not willing to work with you at all. They really dont care about tenants. They only want the $$$$$$.I hate to leave a negative review, but this place has to change.Until they do...STAY AWAY!!!
The location! Very convenient! Easy access to shopping, eateries, NRG, and the TMC. I have been here for almost 2 years and the Assistant Manager, Melissa Cabrera, is so inviting and welcoming. Customers and residents are always greeted with her smile and full attention. The maintenance staff is professional and courteous with maintenance requests. The complex itself is very nice. Grounds-keeping is kept up on a regular basis. Although, some tenants should take responsibility of their own trash. Because I have a dog, at times, Ive had to take care of it for them. The pool is AMAZING and so is the courtyard. There are pet stations and a pet run on ground level. Then there is a Bark Park on the roof of the parking garage. This is what sold us immediately! The business center and fitness center are bonuses. I work from home quite often and havent had issues with internet speed. My apartment itself is very nice. I am so particular on floor plans that its absolutely perfect for me. All of the floor plans are exceptional and so different from your basic apartment set-up. I couldnt have asked for a more modern, updated, and perfect living area for the price. Parking garage safety was a huge concern of mine. But with Security around and parking monitored, its a real relief of my worries. Ive had people in my reserved parking spaces and the office has taken immediate action which is a plus when you pay for it. Any cars parked incorrectly or left unattended for days are noticed and attended to. Yes, the less fortunate exist everywhere in this city, but this complex will take care of any issues pertaining to the property. I highly recommend!
The Domain at Kirby is definitely a place I would strongly recommend! They have amazing staff that go above and beyond. Kristina and Carla went out of their way to ensure I was well informed and taken care of. They made sure I got the best possible deal that meet all my needs and expectations. They were very thorough and and quick to reply with any questions or concerns I had. The complex itself is remarkable! I absolutely love living here!! The buildings decor is very upscale and sophisticated. Upon my move in the apartment was exceptionally clean with new carpets and luxurious amenities. The spacious and open layout really complimented the enormous pristine pool and sun decks that I could view from my patio. Every morning I love getting to enjoy this extraordinary view along with coffee pllppk homemade donut from a delicious donut shop built right into the building. On top of an exceptional living space they offer a Well maintained fully equipped state of the art gym that can keep up with any workout routine. You are provided with full internet access, fax, and copy machines in their business center. Making doing work from home simple and Convenient. They’re are also pet friendly residence and give your furry friends a place to get their daily excecise in with an entire floor dedicated to a spacious dog park. On the same floor as their dog park there is a bathing center with everything you need to Keep your lovable companions smelling clean and fresh after playing at their new favorite spot.
A good apartment, we live here almost 2 years
This apartment complex (Domain at Kirby) is full of issues so don’t waste your time renting with them. I have placed multiple work order to fix issues of a period of 6 months to fix water leaks resulting in $250+ a month water bills and the response is that there is nothing they can do. There had been multiple insect issues and nothing is done. Please steer clear of this place.
Very nice apartments. Very convenient to the city views love the food choices around. Perfect home😌😌😌
I have been living here for almost a year and one thing I can say is the leasing office staff is FABULOUS and always on pointDomain at Kirby is a beautiful place to come and live. Trust me !!Overall no community is perfect but the leasing office staff will work hard to make all of us very happy.
Wonderful apartment! Close to everything you need and more. Only 5 minutes walk to NRG stadium, short drive to the Medical Center. Office staff is so helpful and friendly.
I have been a resident at The Domain for over 2 years and honestly, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. If you have other apartment complex options I suggest you consider them. Although the location and amenities are nice the management is slow to respond to request. The key fobs for access to the building only work “half” the time. This is a big security concern, especially returning home late at night. I recently transferred to a bigger unit that was not cleaned properly. When I requested a resolution they refused to rectify the situation. It’s very disappointing. I escalated my concerns to corporate management, however they were more focused on getting new tenants in then accommodating my request as a long term resident.
I’ve lived at Domain at Kirby for almost 16 months now and I feel completely scammed . For the first two months of my lease I dealt with loud neighbors above me . The property manger at the time offered me two reserved spots for the price one of one for my troubles. After two months she led the property and the new property manger took the spots back . How unprofessional. I had a leaking toilet for over 6 weeks that maintenance Half way fixed . My microwave has been broken for almost 4 weeks now and there idea of a replacement was a mainstay microwave from Walmart . I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone . To put the icing on the cake the complex lost the keys to our apartment and replaced the locks BACKWARDS . I can not wait for my lease to be up.
Office staff very respectful and very professional. Like how the hallways are cleaned always and smells good! Curtesy officer has been really helpful at property. Would recommend moving here! 10/10
Me & my husband just moved-in yesterday , experience wise was good, everyone in the admin office are very accommodating even from the 1st day when we enquire for available flat. Though movers had a bit difficulty in moving our stuff to 4th floor coz loading bay is far from our unit. but overall facilities is in good condition. Some acquaintance renters are friendly & neighbourhood is accessible to grocery & pharmacies, etc. Kristina is the main person assisted us and she’s awesome & patient to our queries. She’s very helpful and so as the other colleagues. Hoping for a good 12 months stay here! 😊
My husband and I just signed a lease with Domain at Kirby. As soon as we saw the place, we fell in love. Domain opened in May 2009 so everything is brand new. The apartments all have hardwood floors, granite counter tops, expansive, dark-wood cabinets, and stainless steel appliances! They even have french-door fridges, and deep sinks with detachable sprayers. The apartments are within walking distance to the light-rail and Domain will soon be offering a free shuttle to and from the Medical Center. The gym has all new equipment and spinning classes are also offered. I cant speak to the quality of life at Domain, since we havent yet moved it, but it is definitely worth a look for anyone looking for a luxury apartment for the right price. They are also offering really good specials right now so we were able to reduce the market rent significantly. Check it out!
The place has really great location, everything u need is with walking distance. 3 min drive to MD Anderson, which is why I stayed there in the first place. They have a nice pool and a decent size gym. High ceiling rooms it feels very spacious. The one thing I would complain about in that building is carpet in the hallways, theyre really dirty and smelly. If you are moving in another thing to consider is how far the apartment can be from the garage, many of the apartments are really far from the garage and this can be really an inconvenient when u r carrying stuff from the car. If you are staying for a period less than six months they will give u couple of numbers of corporate housing which they deal with, one of the guys they deal with is called Mani. DO NOT call this guy, hes bad news u dont want to deal with that guy.
While a resident there, my car was vandalized and property stolen, despite having 24 hour security cameras and a guard on duty during the late evening/early morning hours. Afterwards I found out these cameras were for show only, and they dont actually record any video footage. Therefore, provide a false sense of security, however a feature they charge you for. There was never any reconciliation or apology or improved security as a result of my car break-in. In fact, my car was 1 of 9 cars vandalized that same night. And instead of making security upgrades to protect their residents, they change out the carpet and hold weekend brunches to distract you from the fact they couldnt care less about your security. Also my window leaked (and given how much it rains in Houston, thats a lot) so severe that mold started growing on the inside. It took them 2 months to actually do something about it, despite the fact I had to live with mold in my bedroom during that time. The manager and assistant manager are both incompetent and are of no help. I was a resident there for over two years and things only went from bad to worse; never improved. The helpful staff in the office all ended up leaving; likely due to the downward spiral of management. I wish I had read a review like this before moving there.
BEWARE*** DO NOT MOVE IN HERE***I honestly dont even know where to begin but I wish we never moved in here to begin with. The place is supposed to be fancy, secure, and luxurious but its not. On top of that they are ripoffs. I moved in while greystar owned the property and while living in the apartment Adara community bought it. Anyways do not move to this place for those 3 reasons that I mentioned. 1. The last few months that I have lived here, we had a lot of security break-ins and theft. And to to make matters worse management blamed the resident. 2. The hall way stinks pretty much every day after you really move in. Before you move in everything is dandy and they make it seems look like it is this amazing place. 3. Its not a fancy place at all. Believe me youll find better price for your money even in the medical center. We only moved here because of a rush and yes I wish we never moved in to begin with. My last warning is to be ready to get a hefty bill when you move out. Some of the charges are just ridiculous. We spent over a day making sure the place was spotless. but we still got hit with an almost $400 bill. Some of the charges are ridiculous for example: cleaning fee for washer and the dryer and I cleaned that myself. Maybe I forgot to take check the filter for the dryer but seriously?? Another ridiculous charge is the bathtub encloser//stopper, because of the water use the moldings needs to be replaced which is common, but Im getting charges for that. I even had maintenance come out and fix that before. Im also getting charges for cleaning fee for the stove, which I cleaned myself. Among other crazy charges. I was totally shocked and surprised. This has been my experience so stay away. And also their expresso/bar machine doesnt work half the time if not more. I remember they were out of milk for almost a month. The pool table is very old and worn out, so are the pool sticks. The treadmills in the gym are out of service most of the times. I could go on and on. Good luck finding a place but do not move here. You will regret it. And yeah its under a new management here but they are the ones sending me a $400 bill so I dont see how they are any much better so dont fall for that trap.
I have only been staying at this place for 19 days and its not one day I came home happy. After paying rent I already spent an extra 100$ like the office requested for things I was told I didnt have to pay for BEFORE I signed my lease, they are not very accommodating what so ever. I will update you guys in a few months for I am sure new things will occur. Only two things have been convenient for me since the move in . Which are numerous of food spots in the area since I do not like to cook and my boyfriend apartment complex is really close.
The apartment is in a really great location and it is convenient to a lot of places. Its great that food and Walgreens are located right there as well. The leasing staff are all extremely kind and helpful. I have lived here for 3 years and plan to stay!
Such a beautiful property with great amenities ans wonderful floorplans!
After living at the Domain at Kirby for over four months now, I LOVE trying to learn how to like this place a little bit. The halls are full of fun games to play, like “Guess the smell!” or “Is that dog poop?” and my personal favorite, “What does that trash stain on the carpet look like to you?”Life here is full of daily adventures as your garage clicker seldom works, so you have the opportunity to find fun and engaging ways to break into your own home. Life is full of challenges, and here at the Domain at Kirby, they definitely embrace that motto.Another fun feature here is the dirty, roach filled pool! It’s a great place to bring one of your friends who you don’t like much and push them right in! Also a fantastic punishment for when the kids misbehave. Just a few minutes down at the luxury pool will have them shaping up in no time, to avoid having to ever dip a toe in again. Definitely a big plus for young family’s considering this residence! Finally another unique feature here is the unmaintined lounge and gym areas. Here you are given the opportunity to learn to tidy and clean all sorts of day old messes, as well as how to make sub par equipment work. It’s truly worth every penny. “So what most of the machines in the gym are broken, at least they have a couple dumbbells!”It is important to note that the above mentioned features are included at NO EXTRA COST. Six months ago I started praying for patience. Then I moved in to the Domain at Kirby. What a great opportunity to learn patience as I pay thousands of dollars to live above a donut shop. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone that I hate!Sincerely,Disappointed.
WARNING!!! To whom this may concern. This place has been one frustration to the next. My company has multiple units in this complex and each of my units have had continuing issues of simple daily living. This post is not to point out all the flaws of a complex. I do understand that no complex is perfect. But there are a few things that should be MUST HAVES.1. We should not be getting LOCKED OUT of our apartments due to clickers not working. Being locked out from our own building, garage, door ways within the building, even after multiple attempts of REPLACING batteries on clicker with office staff. The office staff at The Domain at Kirby have told me that they cant do anything about it, but then recommend me to go buy my own batteries for the clicker. WHY SHOULD I BE RESPONSIBLE to buy new batteries for the clicker when I am paying thousands of dollars to live here? Even with new purchased batteries the clickers still dont work. Clearly the batteries arent the issue. Its the clickers this complex is using. I have been here since February and this clicker problem has been going on since that time. The office staff refuses to find out a solution. The PINNACLE experience that has rubbed me the wrong way is that the clickers dont work 100% percent of the time for the garage. There has been many times where we sit in line to get into the parking garage, then other residents have to get out of their cars to open the garage to let the whole line of residents in. Just today my clicker wasnt working and the garage door started coming down, and since my clicker is so spotty, the door came down on my NEWLY purchased car and scratched it all up, even being behind the broken bent up security arm. I was unable to back up due to a line of cars behind me.This problem has to be resolved!!!!2. Right along with frustration number 1, the amenities of this complex are falsely advertised. Nobody swims in the pool because its filthy. The spa is brown. Half the gym machines dont work. The hallways smell like garbage and the stair wells are filled with dog poop, roaches, tons of spider webs, and outside walkways have dog waste everywhere as well. You name it, The Domain at Kirby has it.Its frustrating to know that they advertise this place as luxury apartments when its the furthest thing from it. What am I paying for?
Bad management. They used to have better management but its getting worse. They keep changing staff!! They make u pay for anything to get fixed inside the apartment. They didnt used to. Sometimes u ask for the service twice and 3 times to get it done!! And if u decide to leave they will overcharge u for normal wear . So they wont give u back ur deposit!! They try to keep the 3rd floor clean and smelling good because the model apartment is there but other floors smell so bad!! Especially the first floor!! We even found roaches sometimes in the hallways!! The jacuzzi tub by the swimming pool is never working!!! I called them many times to fix it but nothing!!! The pool water is not clean!! The coffee machines in the club room r out of service alot of time.. even the printer paper u have to ask them to reload it!!! For the price u can find a better apartment complex with nicer staff. And better management, especially in that area!! Its full of apartment complexes who compete to satisfy residents!!
It’s not a bad place honestly every single floor and hallway smells different and it’s a pool area is very clean as well as the common areas such as the gym and lounging areas for residence or guests. I thoroughly enjoyed being here.
Management team at Domain at Kirby, especially Melissa Cabrera, has been wonderful and extremely attentive in making our move-in as easy as possible. We are new tenants who do not live locally and Melissa and the team went above and beyond their duties to assist us in renting with the Domain. Our experience thus far has been wonderful and we look forward to living here!
This community is absolutely amazing!! The location, pool, staff, apartment space is just great! I didn’t know where to live at in Houston when I first arrived but, this location is everything!! Since I’m new to area being in this central area is just right! I can even get my nails done downstairs or grab a cappuccino before work in the club room!!! Like seriously I’m in heaven!!!
My daughter lives here and was out of town for three days when she had a running toilet issue happen. Upon returning home she let the maintenance department know and it was soon fixed but not before a 900 dollar water bill was accrued. She has contacted management on numerous times and was told that they would get with the water company and get it worked out. They have not contacted the water company and tried to work anything out because when she called the water company this is the first they have heard of it. The part was faulty and this was no fault of the tenant. She was contacted today by management and said there was nothing they could do. They have lied, charged late fees, and do not care about their residents at all. I would not recommend them to anyone. Please see other reviews similar to this.
Staff in leasing office was super friendly and easy to work with. Great location!
So, I usually don’t do reviews but I felt the need to be honest about my past living experience. Living at Domain had its ups and downs but overall it was great living there. If I didn’t work so far from the property I definitely would’ve stayed. I mean come on it was only like 15 minutes from Midtown and my little dog enjoyed their rooftop dog park. I’ll personally refer you to move in to Domain at Kriby ask for the leasing agent Kye Jackson she’s very understanding and easy to get along with.
I have lived here for just over a year. Here is my review of the Domain at Kirby apartments.First, the good (this part will be fairly short). The apartment floor plans are quite nice. Large bedrooms, wood floors, cozy feeling apartment units, open concept.Maintenance staff respond fairly quickly to repairs and are very friendly. Now, the bad.The staff, ridiculous rules, and community areas/amenities need serious work. The staff - friendly enough, but whenever you come up with a serious problem, they always have some way to put it back on you. The fobs arent working? Buy your own new batteries. When one staff member gives you a temporary fob held together with scotch tape and you go back to get a new fob, as promised, the manager doesnt believe you that this was a temporary fob given to you less than a week ago by their staff and no matter how many times you try to explain, she simply doesnt believe you. Even when you get a new fob after going back multiple times, it still doesnt work half the time to get in!The Rules - Any successful apartment community has rules that are strictly enforced - pool hours, trash in the hallways, etc. This apartment complex doesnt enforce those rules, and they add extra, ridiculous rules on top of it. One example in recent memory - only 2 plants and one grill on the apartment patios. REALLY?! We take care of multiple beautiful plants, and a year into the lease they threaten fines for having more than 2 plants? Its nowhere in the lease rules, by the way, that there is a plant limit. There is a rule about not propping doors open. Those of us with dogs take them out of the side access doors to the grassy areas for potty. The doors, despite multiple requests to create fob access, do NOT have a way to let you back in! You have to walk around the complex to get back in. So what do people do? Prop the doors open with a rock so they dont have to walk around the building. There are signs that $300 dollar fines are assigned for propping open doors. NOT enforced. If they would just allow a way for people to get back in, then the doors wouldnt be propped open, which leads me to my next issue. Our apartment was broken into and robbed. During the day, while I was at school and my roommate was at work. The door locks were completely broken, the door was ajar, and the perpetrators were clearly in the apartment for a long time, rifling through EVERYTHING and stealing over 15,000 dollars worth of electronic equipment, heirloom jewelry, gaming systems, games, computers, phones, etc. The locks were clearly insufficient to keep them out. After the break in, the regional manager called and offered to put a door armor thing on our door to prevent another break in. Thats great, but where was any security? Cameras? An extra deadbolt lock that can be locked from the outside on the way out to work? The community manager refused to send out an email to residences asking for any information or witnesses from neighbors who may have seen something. The hallways stink, the carpets are SO dirty, and Ive lived here a year and have only seem them get vacuumed once. The gym had machinery needing repairs for a couple months. Valet trash - what a load of crock! Waste of our money, theres always trash in the hall and all over the trashrooms since people leave piles of garbage out. The elevator has been broken the last week and has broken down multiple times before. Today I went to go to the gym and the fob wouldnt let me in. Walked all they way back to my apartment on the other side of the complex to try our other fob, and it didnt work either. Another resident said his fob wasnt letting him into the gym or the business center. When guests come, they have no way to get into the building from the garage, you have to go meet them on the 6th floor and fetch them. Oh, and the elevator is broken. Youll get some good quads doing all the stairs though. The community ruins otherwise nice floorplans, and way overpriced. I could not recommend this place for anyone.
Comfortable place to live, I’ve been here for a little over a year and it’s convenient to most things in medical center. If I have any issues Kristina is always there.— UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER..this has been a bad ride.. the lock to the back door has been broken for months.. hallways are nasty/disgusting. Have seen SEVERAL cars with wheels stolen Bc the dang gates are always broken and open. Not worth the price, and they are trying to increase 🤣Would not look to lease here what so ever. RUN.
Kristina and Mari have been great! They made the moving process easy and extremely efficient. I love the apartment and having them working here makes it better. Would recommend to reach out to them and they can help you. Amazing Experience!
Leasing office has no morals or Integrity, they believe in screwing over the vendors. They do not pay there bills, and if your an apartment locator they will do anything to make sure you dont get credit. (Including not adding a spot on types of applications to put your name) They will sound great until its time to pay, and then they will stiff you.I have had 5 different clients lease at ADARA properties, I always trust that it will get better but it never does. Today is the day that ADARA is officially on my blacklist.
Amazing place to live! Big bedrooms and great amenities!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! It is dirty and trashy. There are ants, they take the electricity randomly and dont warn you or tell you when its coming back. the water stops running randomly as well and there is no warning or follow up email telling you when it will come back or why it happened. Lastly, the staff is not helpful at all. Our microwave has been broken for almost 2 months and they told us they ordered a new one and it still has not arrived.... we have asked for reduction in our rent as we have been living without a microwave for 2 months now, however they have not responded to our requests.... I repeat DO NOT MOVE HERE. You can live in a way better place for the same price.
I have lived here almost 5 years and note a continuing decline in the community. When I moved in, it was great. The current management is clearly only interested in $$. Cardio equipment non-functional over a year. The security doors and gate are a joke. My car was broken into last night along with many others and corporates response was we will continue to try to get broken doors fixed but when we fix 3, then 4 more are broken. Dont waste your money--rent elsewhere.
If you dont mind burglary and filthy hallways with trash, then move here. Security is NON-EXISTENT. Multiple cars get broken into on a nightly basis, management NEVER respond. The mother company, Adara Communities is just as terrible. Save your money and go elsewhere. It is not cheap to live in this place yet their so called luxury living is a big joke. Airbnb folks come and destroy the place, gates always broken, people leave the entrance/exit doors propped for their friends to come in. Every single morning you can only hope and pray your car is still intact or at least still there.
DONT LIVE HERE! This apartments are expensive for no reason. Theres always something wrong going on in this apartment. From no light, to no water. This apartment are not clean at all!!! The maintenance people take their sweet time to fix things. I’ve requested for something to get fixed in my apartment for almost a week now and told them to call me when they’re coming so I can be there to open up and they rather come in when I am not there. That is unacceptable and that’s not what I told them to do. I am super furious and I can’t wait to move out as soon as my lease is up!.
Kristina saved us tons of time and money, among other things. We came in with an idea of what we were looking for, and she took it and spiced it up with a little unconventional thinking. Which saved us an unknown amount of future countless headaches! The entire team helped make our move as smooth and stress free as possible. This team is amazing my family and I thank God for them.
I have no complaints- love my place and the area. The office has always been great with any maintenance requests Ive had for my lights. Office hangs on to my packages and they are open everyday which is convenient for my schedule-
The folks at Domain at Kirby have been great to work with! Super responsive, and always eager to help their residents, and potential applicants. The floorplans are all very open, and have great finishes. For the quality of home you get, the prices are great!
So as a new resident to Houston, Texas I landed my ideal job. I was having several complications with getting some important documents completed and sent out from my own computer. I stopped by the front desk to ask when would the business center be reopened and was informed that the property was awaiting clearance. After explaining my situation, the staff allowed me to utilize an office computer to get the things handled. I am SO GRATEFUL for such an AWESOME STAFF here
Ive lived at Domain for almost 2 years now and I dont have anything negative to say, especially now that they have changed over to Adara. The management staff is very nice and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone living in the medical center.
I liked my apartment, despite the decline in upkeep around the community. The neighbors were quiet. The management was problematic. Specifically, Melissa Cabrera, Assistant Manager, and Miriam Flores, District Manager. Melissa is nice and she tries to be professional, but she makes many material accounting errors. Make sure that you document everything, go over lease carefully, take pictures, and get everything in writing or recorded over the phone. I’m not sure if this is due to general incompetence on her part or an intent to over-bill tenants from the top down. Miriam Flores, the district manager, is completely unethical. She berates tenants and speaks to them like a dog. She’s very much unprofessional and she frequently lies about her position. She seems to get off on power and she will admit to no mistakes. She is not the Corporate Vice President. I’ve spoken with HR. She has a supervisor, but she will mislead you into thinking she’s the highest authority in the community or she will pass you off to a low level corporate person. Record any conversations with her if you ever have a problem with local management.
This is a fantastic apartment complex, with some of the best leasing office staff out there. As a corporate apartment company, my point of contact is Melissa and I found her to be incredibly hardworking and I believe Melissas can-do attitude made a large contribution to my companies success
We love this community😁Amenities are absolutely beautiful and staff is amazingly friendly!
I have lived here for over a year and there has been nothing but destruction of property. Over 20 cars broken in to on 2/10 and lies about installing cameras. It’s now mid Aug no cameras. The residents gate is destroyed weekly allowing outsiders to enter making the property unsafe and open for criminal activity. I’ve sent emails following up no respond. I only give it 2 stars because I like the space I’m in and the area. It’s over priced and unsafe.
Customer service is terrible. I withdrew my application because of the lack of communication. The office did not contact me for several days without a status. I am very understanding that approvals do not happen over night; it is honestly a mess. The agent didn’t even recognize my name via email. He contacted me asking for documents I already submitted. When I finally contact him more than a week after my original app, his response was “oh it looks like everything is approved”. Prior to, I had called then office on three separate occasions without a call back, when I detailed that via email. I was more than patient, but tbh just go not move here. I found somewhere that gave much better service and response time.
One of the best buildings and management in the Houston area.Chard,Christina,Tanya and Choaib are all professional and courteous and go above and beyond for tenants. THANK YOU!!!
I’ve lived here for 6 months so far and the management and complex have been nothing but great! For the price your paying for in the Texas Medical Center is reasonable and literally everything is near you! Also love the amazon pub that they have it’s super convenient. Highly recommend
The management team is polite and helpful. However, the complex is in desperate need of new fitness equipment. When Adara took over 6 months ago they said equipment would be replaced in January, its now March and they now say it may not happen. The follow through is terrible. The machines are broken, take a while to be fixed and break again within a couple days. Very disappointing in this regard. However, the other facilities are nice, well cared for and clean.
I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully in my life by someone in a leasing office or any place of business. My roommate and I drove an hr. to get here and tour the property. They were having some electrical issues at the time and the lights were off, so Melissa who greeted us told us that we would not be able to view the facility. As we walked downstairs to leave we discussed and agreed that given our long commute, we could wait an hour or 2 to see if they regained power. Having discussed that, we walked back into the office not even 5 minutes later. I asked a guy there (dont remember his name) if he had a projected time that the power would be back on bc we wouldnt mind waiting an hr or longer. A guy by the name of Brandon (this was not the person I was even addressing) told us that Center point is downstairs you can go ask them yourselves. I literally said wow as I was at a loss for words. Brandon felt the need to then respond (i repeat i was not even speaking to him) by saying I dont know how much nicer I can say this but you guys were here earlier and we told you no. I informed him that everyone was very nice (Melissa that is) however you sir are very rude. Melissa stepped in and told us we could wait, however she informed us that we could wait in the club house which was more of her insisting and pushing us out of the leasing office. Shortly after we were forced to leave the leasing office waiting area and sit in the club room, we could see through the glass windows that we were pushed out only for them to talk about us, which was clear from Brandons body language and head shakes. Melissa and Brandon came together to give us an update on the electricity and Brandon gave us a insincere apology, which seemed like the assistant manager Melissa made him do. He started the apology by saying i would like to apologize, Im sorry we got off on the wrong foot but you guys asked a few time and... thats where i had to cut him off and clarify the situation. I thanked him but informed him that we were not constantly asking, as we asked Melissa ONE time and realized we didnt mind waiting so we came right back upstairs to ask about an ETA for power to return. Had he of not inserted himself into the conversation of his co workers he would have known that. I dont know if we should give this place another shot, but I can only hope we are treated with respect and that no one else has to be treated so rudely. This is why I took the time to write this review even though I may be back and have to face them again. But I doubt we will.
I love it here! We just moved in a month ago and all has been well. I really love our new home. They have so many floorpan options, it was hard to chose. It is quiet and our neighbors are very nice.
Domain at Kirby is a very clean apartment. The leasing office and common areas have the feel of a superior hotel, and the Amazon hub locker system makes it easy to pick up your deliveries. I can recommend this apartment.
I love this place, the leasing professional anielka toured me around the whole property, loved how professional she was very nice and always smiling! Will definitely recommend touring the property and specifically with her if you are looking for a new place! 10/10
I was considering moving to Houston and saw the domain nice location visited in June. Kye Jackson was my leasing agent. She was super nice, attentive, and patient. I decided toStay in New Jersey but this place was definitely a top contender during my search.
My birthday was ruined this was my worse experience staying at an airbnb. upon entering the building the directions were not clear as to which door it was. not a name or number listed for help. the AC was not on & it was 89 degrees the fans & lights were not working in the rooms their are AC units in the windows because it’s so hot. the tub was filty & it was a hole in the ceiling & brown water was leaking from it. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
Leasing is amazing and Tania is fabulous. Understanding, patient and very helpful with all the processes of acquiring, maintaining and living in these nice apartments.
When I visited the property it was very busy. I was very surprised that the property manager, Gisela, assisted me. She was very nice and answered all of my questions. I don’t normally leave reviews but I was very impressed. The only reason I chose another community was because the commute to my job was too long.
Why should you not move in to this place?I am a resident at this place for over 10 months. I chose this place for two main reason: One is close to Medical Center and two: it HAD a shuttle service that could take me to work and bring me back home after a long day since the parking in Med Ctr is very challenging and EXPENSIVE. Well these people decided one day to take this service away due to bad service/ no enough participants and leaving the users without any alternative solutions to make to work. I went to the office and I was told straight to my face Im so sorry take the train. Their excuse was that the shuttle service was a complementary but it was a selling point when I moved in since a lot people that work in med ctr want to live close by. I tried to contact the property management called ADARA Communities and for two weeks no one but no one picked up the phone till finally someone decided to take my phone call and that person was not friendly even willing to release her name. it has been a month already and no solution to their residents. This decision is costing me a lot money in gas, parking, wear and tear to my car and additional time for me to make it to work and find parking meaning like the raised up my rent but I cannot do anything about it.Next : night patrol is not longer there, so if you are coming back late make sure no one is around when you open the gate because there are so many homeless and I have seen sometimes sneaking in in the building. The internet the OFFER is the lowest in the market every other provider gives you minimum 25 Mbps here you get barely 10 Mbps and the DirecTV with over 100 channels are just commercial and advertising nothing else, I never watch TV, just NETFLIX and be patient streaming too.So anything they show when you go to see the property is complementary so it could be taking away anytime.if you are looking to live close to med ctr and you do not mind hearing the sirens 24 hours a day even at night because the windows are not soundproof you are welcome here.If you get a lousy neighbor do not bother to complaint they will do nothing about it.Please go some place else
I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to my worst enemy! Don’t expect to be able to move out without paying at least 500 dollars regardless of how well the apartment was maintained. Management will find any way to nickel and dime you while you’re there. They are more conserned on taking your money than making this complex a liveable place. The place is very poorly maintained and secured. Hobos in the garage and smelly halls at all times.
Counting down the days until I move out of here! Im telling you, this is a complete dump covered in so called luxury. The hallways are smelly with dirty carpets. The residents are noisy and nasty. The building is not properly constructed. I was lied to when I was being shown the apt. I was told the bldg was made out of cement which makes it sound proof. THAT WAS A COMPLETE AND UTTER LIE. You can hear absolutely EVERYTHING especially you have someone that lives above you. Its driving me insane. Theres no way I should be paying over $1600 a month and walk to see trash and dog poop INSIDE of the building. On top of that, everything breaks down including the computers and printer in the computer room. The maintenance is pretty good with fixing things in your apartment, they are actually the only ones I enjoy seeing but the leasing agents are another story. They are lazy, inconsistent, and fake. Nothing gets done, you have to continuously bug them. This is by far the worst apartments I have lived in, do yourself a favor, turn around and live some place else.
Honestly I don’t even know where to start. This complex is absolutely disgusting and not safe. My husband and I moved in last year and instantly regretted it. The hallways smell absolutely horrible and the place is poorly maintained. I complained about the smell numerous times and they completely ignored me. They are super rude and over priced for no reason. We couldn’t wait to move out. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here.
This place has been nothing less than great to me. Kristina has been very kind and attentive of all my needs she provides phenomenalcustomer service. The staff is excellent ! My space is clean. I couldnt ask for better. Thank you.
All I can say is I will not be renewing my lease unless the carpet in the hallways is replaced, the floor in the gym cleaned and maintained and automatic air fresheners placed in the hallways to help overcome the horrible smells of everyones cooking. I can also say other than replacing the absolute filthy carpet in the hallways the elevator corridors could be finished so it would not look like you are walking into a janitors closet when exiting or entering.
The best place in the Kirby area to live! The community is always clean and up kept. The maintenance team is amazing as well as the new manager Monique and staff!
Christina and Carla are so friendly and helpful. The courtyard furniture is so beautiful and community feels like home.Staff is a GREAT improvement from few years ago!
I have had the pleasure of working with Jennifer taking care of everything concerning our move in and she is AWESOME! she went above and beyond when it come to the application process and looking at floor plans!
I can’t say enough about the staff at Domain. Patient, understanding and always ready to work with you. Professionalism at its finest. Thank you Adara.
Great Service! Great appartment and location… definitely coming back
The entrance gate has been broken for weeks and last night or this morning, 29 vehicles have been broken into. When I looked on my floor of the parking garage, every single driver’s side window was busted out. Management had done nothing to prevent this from happening.
Management team is AMAZING the staff is amazing always there when you call quick to respond to any issues safety is a top priority at this location been there 5 yrs with no issues.
I don’t usually write reviews but I have to say Annie provided great customer service she answered all my questions ! I definitely felt welcomed & she was very professional ❤️ ! This property is real nice & beautiful! 😄
Fast maintenance follow up, gym is good. Staffs are super kind. Especially Tanya!
Charde was an amazing leasing representative during our leasing process.Despite the current pandemic (COVID-19) he went out of his way to make us feel welcomed, safe and confident in making the best choice for our new home.
It was much much better in the past . i dont know wts wrong with them now !!! i think they change the maneger or something !!!bcoz before all they care about is the security and cheering thier residents. But now !! we had more than 3 criminals attacks in the buldding During this month !!!! and they blame the resident why not taking care of them self and walking ALONE inside the building !!! R u kidding me !!!! ppl stays in this expensive closed building bcoz they want to be secure and safe !!!!!!
I had been staying in so many places around taxes I have never been in place as Domain at Kirby it’s very nice place close to many places specialty to the medical city it’s very quiet place very secure nice swimming pool and the most important the team are very friendly and helpful. My advice to whoever looking for place to stay just move in.
My wife and I lived at the Domain from January 2021 until January 2022. Every moment of our stay was disappointing due to poor management, dystopian waste management, filthy hallways, unsecured entrances, and no community standard enforcement.Thankfully, we’re free at last!
Nice staff, good location. Walking distance to train to downtown. Very close to medical center. Due to proximity of stadium, traffic is a mess on football game days and rodeo.
From the moment you walk into those big glass doors your presence is met and matched with theirs. Everyone is ready to help and assist you any way they can. Even the people working stop for a moment to just say hi and welcome you.
Have been at this location for close to a year.Love the team! Their instagram is so funny. This community is absolutely beautiful!
I have lived in a lot of different places and I have never had such amazing experience and friendly staff. They take care of the residents.Office and maintenance teams are GREAT and I have no complaints!
The property is absolutely beautiful apartments are spacious and amazing 👏 I love the cozy atmosphere and the fabulous staff! DOMAIN AT KIRBY IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE TO BE!
Tany was great!!She helped my fiancé & I find the perfect apartment!
The office staff here is very nice and helpful. Love the fact I could get starbucks anytime I want..Free!!!!!! And convenient....Love staying here.....
Lived here for a year and moved out as fast as I could. The place is nice, however the office staff and the management are abismal. They are not there to help you at all, but rather to make life difficult for you.
For the quality, space, location and service this place is phenomenal! I give the staff and property a definitely 5 stars. I’ve been here since Harvey and we love it!
Office staff is very responsive and attentive to all needs. Maintenance is great and quick to fix any issues. beautiful place to call home.
Great place to live! Awesome pool, walking distance to almost anything you can think of and the office staff is friendly and helpful everytime I run into them.
Beautiful community! Amazing office and maintenances team! Been here 15 months and no complaints! Customer service is top notch.Highly recommended
Those apartments are just ok but it used to be much better as i experienced 3 years ago .. computers In the business office very dirty and needs to be updated .. the hallways are dirty and the same dirt stay for more than 2 weeks .
Ive lived here for more then 1 year.. just say u dont really need your car to get around. The staff and management are very helpful when needed
Great location, gorgeous community.Seeing a lot of improvements over the last year. Will be renewing the please again, love their team!
Things are getting better. More thank 5 years living here. Very happy
This place for me is very good location, everything is close by. It is easily accessible. Staff is wonderful and very helpful and apartments are neat and beautiful!
The front office is really really kind, always happy to help!
The quality is great. The management office is terrible!!!! I lived here for 4 years, the prices were getting higher. The services were getting worse. There are some other places around with better prices and management.
They have made improvements to the apartment I will admit. However, still not 5 stars because bugs are still an issue with my family at the apartments. Perhaps look into a company.
Ive lived here for 2 years now and have loved every minute of it! If your even considering living here just a little, go ahead and go through with it, you wont be disappointed!
Tanya is going to take care of you!!! The process was seamless! Amenities were state of the art! Can’t wait to get moved in to this amazing community!
Love it here! Been living here for almost 2 years and love the customer service this place exhibits! Definitely would recommend to others!
Love it love it love it. All the staff was so friendly and kind and help our experience to be easy and fabulous. Tania and the rest of the staff Thank you for everything
I like this community! They are friendly and kind.
The team and property are amazing!!! Best complex ever!!!!!!
Absolutely no security, cars broken into, catalytic converters stolen and many secure doors propped open with rocks or bricks.
Office team is always very helpful! They will take their time to help you with your questions and the location is very convenient too! Close to a lot of points of interest!
I went there to visit a friend and I was highly considering moving to the Kirby area and I’m glad I didn’t move to it the parking lot is always full after certain hours and you have to pay to get a good spot and most stops are taken visitors parking is a mess and horrible to find an open spot, the reason I gave a zero for the rent they charge the place is dirty some how like the maintenance is poor in the hallways amd the parking lot need to be cleaned the spa area is Cool though
