Milwee Street Apartments

I love so much about these apartments—the location is fantastic, the view of the sunset from my balcony is great, the staff is friendly, and the maintenance crew is always helpful. However, I cannot overlook the severe roach problem. Despite multiple exterminator visits, the infestation persists, with roaches in the kitchen, dishwasher, fridge, and even crawling on me at any given moment. It’s disappointing because this could be a wonderful place to live, but the roach issue is unbearable and has completely overshadowed the positives.They do have a towing company and I’ve seen them tow multiple vehicles but if you register your guests for the day, there isn’t an issue.

I wanted to share my experience. I am from out of town and considering moving back to the area. I stopped in to check out the Milwee St. Apt. They are really nice apartments with great amenities. The grounds are nice and seem secure. The manager (Jade) was very friendly and informative on all they had to offer, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. These apartments will definitely be my choice when moving back. Thank you to the staff!

I’m not one to normally leave reviews, But after stopping by Milwee Street Apartments and meeting their eager staff they made everything feel so comfortable for me. I was amazed by the units shown to me ,very clean and upgraded. The apartments feel very safe and being pet friendly was a plus for me. After speaking with the manager Jade she was very knowledgeable and she even offered me a great move in special that I couldn’t turn down. The ladies in the office are very detailed and communicative. I love stopping by for coffee in the mornings and saying good morning. If your looking for an apartment this was it for me you should definitely check out Milwee Street Apartments

The new staff is so energetic and friendly! I walked in and immediately felt at home. I reviewed the property online and was a little nervous about the negative reviews but also considered that they may be based upon upset people who got told something they didnt want to hear... So I stopped by and toured to find out for myself! So glad I did! Jade, Jay and Yvette all greeted me with open arms, the property was very clean and well kept. I was introduced to a maintenance member, I think his name was Franklin who was also super friendly and although busy, took the time to greet me. Inside the apartment I toured was so spacious and open concept and an up to date vibe. I came by later in the evening to drive through and must say its a small quiet community. Everything seems on the up and up and I look forward to actually moving in! So my best advice is come check it out, you will love it as much as I did!

I had an amazing experience touring with Yvette! From the moment I walked into the leasing office, she was friendly, professional, and attentive to all of my needs. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions. What stood out the most was her dedication to finding the perfect apartment that fit my needs and budget. I highly recommend working with Yvette if youre looking for someone who genuinely cares and goes the extra mile!

Yvette was awesome! Her energy was fantastic, and she made me feel comfortable with all the questions I had. She was super responsive and quick to answer everything, which I really appreciated. The property itself is beautiful – it’s a newer building, which is a big plus in Houston, and the high ceilings add such a spacious feel. I also like that it’s a smaller complex, which feels great from a security perspective.

Very good clean place to live I love it it’s so beautiful very modern and very nice staff every single one of them work very hard and care more than anything I’ve ever seen!!! There’s not a lot of things that surprise me but when I saw these apartments it was amazing highly recommend living here it’s totally worth it!!! Thank you all god bless

Jay is absolutely amazing! Im not local to the Houston area, and after a nightmare experience with a previous complex, I had no time to visit in person before my move. I explained my situation to Jay, and she was more than happy to accommodate a virtual tour. Before the tour, she took the time to personally send me pictures of the units I was most interested in. She was incredibly informative, kind, and patient, going above and beyond during a very stressful time. If youre planning to tour this property, be sure to ask for Jay!

My husband and I were apartment searching and it was getting difficult because of our budget and honestly (Im a little picky) but the manager Jade helped me so much!! The property is beautiful!! And honestly really spacious I cant wait to move in !! Jade was really straight towards, kind, and very helpful!

I would not recommend living here. My car was towed, and when I went to the office for help, the lady in charge couldn’t have cared less. She told me to come back in 30 minutes because she was giving a tour, even though I was clearly upset and needed assistance. When I asked for a phone number to call, instead of providing one, she gave me attitude and repeated that I needed to come back later.This kind of unprofessionalism and lack of care happens often here. The management does not prioritize residents’ concerns, and dealing with them is a constant headache. Save yourself the stress—don’t move here.PS it took over an hour for this person to do the “tour” and there’s a sign o in the office that says no longer than 30 minutes. I had to pay $300 AND HAD TO FIND MY OWN WAY THERE. They do not care at all and only there to take every penny you have. They will find a way. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Upon entrance I was warmly greeted by Linda and Jay. I toured the property after having seen several others. The property is well maintained. The 4th floor unit I toured was actually the unit available for rent. The kitchen space is very spacious and the patio was also large offering a lot of privacy. The entire application process was seamless. The area is super quiet and neighbors are very respectful. I am happy I decided to lease here. Thank you so much guys!

I will definitely won’t be renewing my lease here there’s been an infestation of roaches pest control doesn’t help even if they come once a week they do not keep up with the property remote for the gate does not work your only allow one visitor since you have to register the car

This place sucked lol. I was here 3 years.-1 floor, be ready for bugs, but dont worry, pest control (3 guys) come into your apartment at random times to spray some corners. Dont worry youll get a notice a week in advance, saying they need a 15 hour window access to your apartment.-Its gated, and the first thing you see is a constable car, except, the gates never working, or a post it is on the gate opener, and the only time you see the constable car is when they are parked in the fire lane, not when my truck was stolen, or when it was broken in twice, no no, you cant even camera view to tell you what to look our for next time. sorry, we can only show the police.-The pool is great. Always empty-I was only in 1 building, but that elevator was ALWAYS broken. My advice, talk to the neighbors, ask how often that elevator breaks lol. It was always fun/sad watching people move in and out and having to use the stairs.-you can only call one hour after business hours and before lunch, if you do, i promise, they are on POINT.-They used to have a towing company who lived there so they would check the cars at night and tow them if they were out of registration. Even with the milwee parking permit.

Ms. Sonia and the other girls were so much better at resolving issues than the new people here. Maintenance used to mop and blow the hallways daily and will try to keep it clean. People put out the trash outside their doors days that they dont pick it up and office do not do anything. They also let dogs do their business on peoples patio making the entrance to the building stink. (entrance on first building by dog park). Embarrassing when you bring guest. I cant wait to move.

From the fixtures to the appliances, it felt like a fresh start.Direct Vent Exhaust Fans: The inclusion of direct vent exhaust fans in both the front foyer and the bathroom is a thoughtful touch. These fans not only keep the air fresh but also contribute to maintaining a comfortable living environment.Safety and Convenience: The elevators are incredibly convenient, and I feel safe within the community. Management has been prompt in addressing any queries or concerns.Location: Milwee Street Apartments is strategically located. It’s just 5 miles from Memorial Park, 8 miles from Memorial City Mall, and 6 miles to the Galleria which I can see from my front door. Whether I want to explore the outdoors or indulge in shopping, everything is within reach. Plus, the easy access to US 290 and Interstate 610 Loop makes commuting a breeze.Overall, Milwee Street Apartments offers a great residential environment, upscale amenities, and excellent service. The new management here has been such a great help , and the apartment is great theres a nice pool out and apartments look brand new indoors , would totally recommend to get with jade for a nice cozy apartment here!!

Came to tour the apartments, the manager is rude, dismissive and very unprofessional. Property has potential but it looks like they don’t care of it.

This complex is not worth the hassle and certainly not a “luxury” apartment. After knowing of the power outage concerns for close to or over a year, 2/3 of the complex loses power during most minor rainstorms. This complex was one of the last in the whole city to receive power after the storm that affected Texas in May 2024. 5-6 days without power, some residents had nowhere to go and sweltered in the Texas heat and humidity. The management must not care enough to resolve the issue or too stupid to make the necessary changes. Take your business elsewhere, plan on relocating when the power goes out and hope you have enough coolers and ice for your food.

Absolutely amazing place the staff is amazing the apartments are very clean very nice well maintained and it’s such a beautiful environment all an all!😁

If I could rate them zero stars I absolutely would , do not move here if you work from home you will have numerous issues with power outages and random alarms with no prior information that will potentially make you lose the job you have to pay the rent they will bother you about every month but have no decency to be concerned about your way of living or how random unscheduled activities interfere with your life . Currently sitting at home working and the fire alarms have been going off all day & instead of finding a more effecient way so that the entire community is not disturbed for one person they would rather tell you oh well basically. They have roaches no matter how clean you are, & they apartments are badly built, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing or saying at all times of day & they don’t enforce the rules that actually need to be enforced they only care about getting their money &’they’ll kick you out if you don’t & don’t forget they find ways of making clerical mistakes but making you pay for it. 0/10 would not recommend. I can’t wait to move this place has raised my anxiety 10 fold and it’s just not been a good year or living experience .

One of the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I was parked waiting for a friend and an office staff member came a lady with the worst attitude rolling her eyes and telling me to move that I cant be waiting here. Didnt even approach me nicely. Im so glad my friends are leaving here. Theyve had the worst time in the worst experience here with the staff being impossible to deal with and the most unprofessional attitude. Disrespectful people. It takes a lot for me to write a review like this but never have I experienced something like this.

I think one of the worst apartments in every level you can imagine. I wish I could put negative 5 stars.

The apartments are really pretty. But overall the stay has been 4/10. Me and my partner have gotten towed 5 times since being here for a YEAR and it’s $300 each time to get vehicles out (next morning pick up) (not even 24 hours) when we already pay to park here. As far as living in apartments the walls are VERY thin so we can hear EVERYTHING upstairs, and both sides of apartments, conversations and all. The office ladies are very nice but the only one who does have some sense in is Sonia. If your just moving there to have something “pretty” that’s all your getting everything else is played out.

Do not move here. They allow and assist illegal towing services to come a prey on out of town folks. They have towed 4 of my friends and now we have to warn everyone how horrible the complex is

I want to first start by thanking Liz. I made a huge move from Massachusetts and from the very beginning Liz helped me with everything I needed. She was very patient and answered all 5,000 of my questions. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by not only Liz, but the other staff. This place is so welcoming and the staff are all so helpful. Parking was VERY straightforward. The place is very well kept and maintenance is definitely on top of everything. If I could give an extra star, I totally would. 10000% recommend to anyone who is looking for a luxury apartment living experience.

Amazing service at the office. Staff is super helpful and ready to take care of any of my needs! Maintenance team always ready to take care of any of my repairs. Highly recommend the Apts. Love their get together and events they do with their staff and residents. It’s a unique experience to live here. I love it because I feel like fam!

Overall have had an amazing experience and relationship with the office girls. They have been able to answer all my questions and continuously make me feel right at home with their attentiveness. Living here has been one of the best experiences I’ve had by far.

After living for 2 years, i can say my experience has been a 9.5/10. No place is perfect but the staff made my living experience great. the staff is up early to clean the areas everyday. New tenants please go into the office and socialize with the team they are great to be around. Im leaving this area to be closer to work.

Couldn’t be happier with the entire process! Liz helped make things seamless and got me moved in with ease. Unit is fantastic, community seems well taken care of and safe. As a new Houston resident I feel happy to call Milwee Street home!

I have lived at Milwee Street for over two years and love it! Sonia and Liz in the office are terrific and very responsive. Maintenance requests are addressed immediately and the location cant be beat.

After a long and frustrating month of apartment hunting, I finally found my dream home! Assistant Property Manager Naelli was so wonderful with assisting me! Not only was she able to extend a promotion at the time I applied, she helped make my whole move in experience pain less! I love how quick her response times were to my emails and how anytime I called the front office, she or someone was available to speak. It made me feel really valued as an applicant especially considering the timeframe that I needed to be out of my old spot. Upon move in, I noticed that my apartment unit was spotless! I searched up and down, high and low, and all over for scratches, stains, etc but could not find one. This has been the smoothest move in experience I couldve ever wished for and I am so grateful for Naelli, Liz and Property Manager Sonia for their amazing service! If youre looking for a place to stay, look no further. Youve found it!

I moved cross country and its already scary enough moving far from family. My first interaction with Ms. Sonia really was the reason I knew I was moving here. The entire team have no issue answering any questions Ive had thus far. Since I been here, whenever I have questions theyre so welcoming to answer anything. Theres always workers on property to ensure it always looks nice. I honestly feel there are enough visitor parking because if there were too many, there wouldnt be any for the residents.My family was concerned at first based off prior reviews, but after visiting themselves they love that I chose this property over the others I viewed. I look forward to the days to come here.

Im glad I listened to the reviews. This place was terrible. Had a walkthrough about a month ago and I could not wait to leave. There is very little parking and the apartments are small. When discussing additional fees it was almost $100 extra on to the rent. Definitely not submitting the application.

Living Here has been really peaceful the only reason it’s not 5 stars is because there is dime sized roaches here and there and I HATE roaches 😂. The walls are also thin you can sometimes hear other peoples music but other then that the staff is super friendly and helpful.

My Husband and I applied over a week ago in office. The leasing office said we would know if we were approved within 2 days. The first email we got was on the same day we applied and it stated that we were approved with certain conditions. I had to keep calling to check on the status, they had us send in our bank statements. Business filings. No one returned emails or calls. I understand people get busy, but I never even received calls or emails back as promised. The last time she said she sent our application to the district manager to be approved. I had to call again and check on that. All of the wait to just say I’m denied and I would receive an email why, but it was literally the same email I got the same day I applied. That I was approved with conditions. Just a waste of time. They could have told us from the beginning. No need to send all this information over include my business registration. Very unprofessional. I’m glad it didn’t work out because if we did move in I could only imagine needing something and they just put you on the back burner. I know I will find something better just a blessing in disguise. I honestly would have felt better if they would have kept it professional kept us updated and denied us the next day instead of all the waiting and calling.

Ive lived here a couple months now and i absolutely love it. ms. sonia has helped me since day 1 of my apartment hunting process and she and the rest of the team here has continued to be of such of help for any minor inconvenience that comes up. the ladies here truly care about you and its very refreshing. while i do wish there was a tad bit more visitors parking and the towing policies are kind of annoying but its not anything thats super unrealistic for me at least. nonetheless i love my apartment and im glad i choose this one over my other choices :)

This place has gone down hill quickly, unruly residents. Apartment manager never does anything to resolve issues. Not worth the price. Grounds are not maintained, trash overflowing. Roaches due to residents leaving trash in hallway in which staff does not reinforce. Forced to pay pest control monthly fee however pest control lies about coming out to service your apartment when requested. Roaches. Home invasions. Cars vandalized and broken into. Management does not care.

Management rocks!!! Had a problem with my diswasher and I contacted Sonia Vasquez..... Response was immediately. My past apartments experience was horrible but this place is extremely awesome!!!! Maintenance resolved my issues in no time. I expected at least 1 week, it was fixed in 1 day. Overall.. love this place.

I was one of the first people that moved in here! The staff has always been great and wonderful! Maintenance is always picking up and trying to maintain our our community as clean as best as they can. Yes, there has been changes to our parking, but nothing as crazy as people are making it seem.

Milwee definitely has a amazing staff ! Sonia was definitely full of positive energy ! She was extremely professional and knew the apartment, she always had a great response to every question asked ! The apartment itself I wasn’t a huge fan of the area where it is located in didn’t make me feel safe , the apartments looked modern and simply yet very accommodating .Definitely feel this apartment complex could have a lot of potential if it wasn’t for the area it is located in . But definitely if your someone who doesn’t mind that minor issue than definitely give this apartment complex a try, the pricing was crazy good with amazing deals/offers , ask for Sonia she won’t disappoint !

I havent had any complaints except for residents letting their dogs poop in the hallway, but that seems to be corrected. The only negative to living here is visitors ‘ parking or the lack of.

I called for information on a 1 bedroom and Ms.Erika was very helpful. Usually looking for apartments is never easy but somehow Erika made me feel so welcomed. Definitely looking forward to the tour on Saturday morning. Thank you and your friendly staff!

Horrible Misleading apartments I went in and toured and got a written quote for an apartment and literally 2 weeks later I came back again and the price went up more than $100 from the original quoted price and they say that the price can change at anytime… and also the Leasing agent Jay made my friend and I very uncomfortable during the visit she had an overzealous obnoxious energy and kept insinuating that we were romantically involved all because I’m an obviously gay woman… even after we told her we were just friends

I visited the property about a month ago. The staff member who assisted me was very nice and professional. However, as we toured there were unruly teens or young adults at the pool using all sort of profanity, and it didnt make a difference that the agent was standing there. I know that it is not completely safe anywhere but this made me decide not to lease there because it gave me the impression that there may be an issue with setting standards and rules for residents.

Enjoying living here and will be continuing my stay. My family and I feel safe and the management team and maintenance have been courteous. They have remedied all of my necessities thus far. I would recommend this location as a place reside. You have to see it for yourself..-Z.

By far the worst apartments I have ever came across in my life time. Rent is ridiculously high these aren’t any form of luxury apartments alongside of 10 visitors spots if that & they tow your car even after having the proper protocols needed for parking. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments to a homeless person on the street. I wouldn’t give these apartments another penny

Wish you the best of luck if you chose this apartment complex to live in. This is not a good place their practices are very bad they began to tow tenants cars even if they have the proper registration and tags on their car they made some deal with this tow company and they charge people $257 to get their vehicle back crazy. Why are you towing peoples cars if they are registered that is fraudulent.

This is the WORST COMPLEX EVERThey towed my car because it was bagged in the parking spot! $260 , I’m a visitor, and had no idea. Please do not live here, for an apartment complex to tow your vehicle for bagging in , they have no type of care for their residents and only want money. Like who does that? Makes no sense.

I lived here a year and I LOVED it. The management responds to issues quickly. Communication is clear. The apartment itself is nice and worth it. Convenient location. Overall great experience!!!

If you park here in a normal spot your car will be towed, This apartment recommends you have no friends over at any time. there is only 8 visitor parking spots for the hundreds of people living here

Horrible!!! My car got broken into and manager said only “corporate” had access. Funny because if i mess up they are quick to pull cameras. Toured their soster property dakota at bingle and had multiple defects. Theu build to steal from the poor!! Get a better scheme project!!! Frauds and fakes!!!!

You would think this is a safe gated apartment complex to live in and not have to worry about any kind of theft. Unfortunately that’s not the case, we have no type of security watching over our complex. Exit gate is damaged making it easy for someone to come in and do some kind of damage. This is a place I’m supposed to call home. But instead I have to worry about my safety and belongings now.

5 star rating to JC and the maintenance team. The very best part of living here is that the maintenance crew is exceptional! It is lead by man named JC who is extremely helpful, skillful and kind. I am disabled and he has not only assisted me when I put in a request ticket but makes a point to ask if I need anything when I see him. He means it too!This 5 star rating and post is specifically based on my experience with JC and the maintenance department.

I had an amazing experience with the leasing personnel with my moving process I been living here a little over six months and the experience has been wonderful It’s very calm the Pool and grill are clean and neat area to enjoy with the family. They have a dog park for all the dog owners

I spoke over the phone with Erika she was very helpful when it came to information about the apartment i was looking for. She had an answer for every question I had. Honestly really good customer service i will definitely be stopping by for a tour thanks to her and her awesome customer service !!!!!!!

This complex is amazing, I have no complaints. Friendly staff that assist on the spot. The minor issue I had, was quickly resolved within the same day. Whether this is your first place or 10th, excellent area and plenty of things nearby.

Compare to my last apt these apts are great ! Starting off with management, then the deal I was offered, and the fact that the apt complex is new ! So far so good as for my experience. Can’t complain .

Lya and Sonia helped us out with the lease and were kind enough to help us move back in after short notice, after a horrible experience at a different apartment.

I will say less. As an individual who has been living here for over a year and considering another lease; it meets my needs and wants. I enjoy my home and I enjoy simplicity.

DO NOT LIVE HERE, VERY INFESTED WITH ROACHES. MANAGERS ARE RUDE AND LIARS, THEY WORK ALONG WITH TOW PEOPLE TO GET YOUR CAR TOWED. SO MANY HIDDEN FEES AND CHARGE FOR RESERVED PARKING SPOTS THAT DONT HAVE COVERS. NOT WORTH LIVING HERE.

Liz & Sonya were such a big help our move they made sure everything went smoothly for move every time I called and had a question they were able to answer it I appreciate all the help from the leasing team!

Liz has great customer service she was really helpful and understanding she explained her self and made shure all my questions were answered.

We went through the process of renting out an apartment and we didn’t get our application letter sent until 2 days after the lady said she was going to send it and when we got it she had already leased our apartment out to someone else without giving us a call back I was calling them every day at lease twice a day to get an update and I then had my husband call and that’s when she picked the phone up and said that someone have leased the apartment

Not a safe place to live. Poor quality of construction; marijuana smoke from next door filled my apartment and management couldnt figure out how to fix it.

Don’t move here , parking people will tow your car if you backed in they will tow it even if it’s register . And if you don’t resister it they will tow it

The worst apartments I have ever lived inThey want to fine you for anything. They demand things but they dont comply with what is required either.

We recently received a notice and reminder of new rules for the property patios. “No Plants on balconies.” Many tenants will have to get rid of plants they owned and maintained for years or decades because plants are “causing damages.” Reminder every tanant gets charge maintenance fees for exterior cleaning and washing.
