The office staff is highly professional and consistently punctual with work orders. Q is very professional and attentive. He had me moved in right on time, so my move was so easy..The rent is affordable, and the property is well-maintained and quiet. While the laundry facilities are functional, the machines could benefit from updates. I havent been here long enough to comment on the pools availability, but I’m truly grateful to have access to affordable rent and decent living conditions, especially considering how high rental rates have become.

Every time it rains a little the parking lot floods. They rig everything just to say they completed a work order. They rebuilt patios with cheaper equipment. So in a year it will definitely fall apart. The rent is cheap it should stay cheap.

First time renter, waited a week before leaving a review. I’ve only been here a week, but I’m already impressed! The team here is very responsive and friendly, Q in the office and assistant property manager Veronica, who’s quick to address any issues. The complex is peaceful and quiet, with regular maintenance and cleaning that keeps everything looking great. It’s really nice to have a calm place to come home to.

This is an amazing property! I love to stop by the office in the morning to get a cup of coffee and bag of fresh popcorn and to say hello to the amazing office staff. Thanks Q for helping me out

The Ladies in this office is beyond great ms Yuliana help me get everything situated through the whole process. Ms Rebecca may be strict but she is very sweet and told me everything I needed to know. Everything been good so far in these apartment no problems, nice and quiet, will update when the lease is up.

Its cool if you from the hood but honestly Ive seen every illegal activity you can imagine here, IV had water up to my neck more then three times in my life and Ive also was a foreman for a company who was contracted to do the demolition and remodeling when cityview owned a majority of the area and let me tell you if you got mold its because we didnt do anything but cut bottom halfs of Sheetrock out and replace it tape, float, texture apart from that no type of treatments.

Quantrell really blessed me today. He had a great, positive attitude and gave me information that I didn’t know about my apartment. This man really is a Godsend. Give this man a raise because he really deserves it. We need more people like him in the world.

This is not the place to live!! They have rats!!! Never fix anything and they can never keep one Manger 1 year I lived there they had like 3 mangers! When I called corporate about the rats they didnt even care! Ontop of that when I left I left it clean and they didnt even want to give me my deposite. Lettarly found the Littles thing to make up to not give me my money! Yet there so quick to take my deposite but never did anything about the rats!!!

No cameras watch out! If you care about your belongings don’t live here there are “drug addicts” here. 4th car stolen in a year patio chairs taken bug infestation crack heads outside trap houses the only people that are cool is the maintenance never got a email from corporate to see the cameras been here a long time ..security in car a lot .. everybody is suspect in these apartments no matter how many people yall move in here now people selling drugs going through the gate now yup I am leaving!

I personally know people that leave bad reviews because it’s what everyone else is doing. Salado is not perfect but very very close considering location and staff accommodations. I’ve been here almost two years and I must say anytime I’ve inquired about an issue or concern, they prioritize my requests. I absolutely appreciate the staff for making my stay as painless as possible and definitely recommend these apartments if you’re in the Greens or Hardy Toll area. Ask for Miss Rebecca you will not be disappointed. Swift, diligent and selfless the whole staff including maintenance!!

The laundry facilities here are TRASH. It take multiple washes & dries for your stuff to be fully done , most of the machine doesn’t work but will proceed to take your money. My clothes have been locked in the dryer overnight & continue to the next day my clothes are still locked in there. I tried calling maintenance 2 days in a row but they never call back , never came to unlock the door even after opening hours. Wouldn’t recommend NOBODY ever using ANY of these facilities on site.

I can start off by saying I been here since 1997, been through so many managers and all have been good , but the new manager Mr Veronica is on top of her stuff has been taking care of the property and is very understanding, very helpful , shes very perfessional. her office staff are very helpful they help me a lot. Work orders are very quickly done which before was very difficult now is much better . Keep up the good work!

We have been having an ant problem for 2 weeks now. Absolutely nothing has been done about it. I have informed Liz I have spoke with Rebecca and everyone has told me that they are going to come out and yet no one has come out. Here We are again two weeks later and still nothing had to go down to the office on 8/12/23 Rebecca was there. She even said that she put in the work order a detail work order from when I spoke to her on 8/11/23 and they still never came out It was told to me that she would let them know on Monday but doesn’t know if anyone will be able to come out? I pay my rent on time. My family gives them absolutely no problems and we still cannot get the simplest things done that we have asked for. My sectional is infested with ants. I have even asked for them to put caulking in the hole that the ants are coming from that yet still hasn’t been done. I’m sick and tired of repeating myself. We really need to get it together at Salado apartments, I don’t know if it’s your staff, your management corporate but a horrible job is being done. I even called the number that they have and ask them for corporate number they told me to Google it. I am over this apartment complex I will be reporting it to Housing Authority. The ladies at the office made my experience way more easier than I thought. They were very helpful and took their time making sure everything I needed done was done in the short time I was given. The manage Ms. Liz was beyond a manage and I really appreciate all shes done to help me and my child. Its an experience Ive never had and Im grateful for the LADIES at SALADO AT CITYVIEW. Wonderful place I moved from new York been here 3 months now and I love my apartment its so spacious and cozy in one moving from Brooklyn to here is a big improvement. The appliances are up to date and oh boy the staff are wonderful Mr Veronica is a new manager I believe . Shes so professional and shes very easy to talk too the maintenance are always cleaning or doing something I wonder sometimes if they dont take a break there are new lights and cameras around the building a lot of work are in progress here Im trying to get my people to move to Houston and Salado apartments because it very family oriented here. Salado keep up the good work.

Oscar came by and completed the work order. He was really fast and quite. All the maintenance staff, I will like to say they are pretty quick and answer all my work order. The inside staff are awesome too. The ladies are very helpful and polite. Love my apartment and keep up the good work.

I love my new apartment it is very clean and plus the office manager Quantrell was amazing with helping with the application process the customer service was fantastic.

Been here for years, was offered 2 options that would be in my benefit once I renewed my lease. They NEVER came through and my lease is about over AGAIN.The list is too long to bother and they have the audacity to increase anything. I just keep praying🙏🏽🙏🏽 cause theres GOT to be something BETTER

If I can rate no stars I would. I stayed there for three years and put $1500 down on my apartment the original managers was great. Then they started replacing them. And the new ones do not greet you when you come in. They never answer the phone. The apartments are roach and rat infested. I had my at&t tech constantly coming in to rewire my internet because the rats was eating the wire. I moved out and its been about 50 days and they refuse to give me my deposit back. I call no one answers. Then when I come in the only person that can help me is in a meeting. I ask them about the information and they call the security on me. I ask for corperate number and the number was disconnected. I informed them and they didnt care they left the disconnected posted in the front for the residence . They locked me out the office for asking who do I need to speak to about my deposit. They are very unprofessional. Its against the law to with hold someone deposit but they are doing it. I am highly upset. I have never been treated so badly at a place I stayed at for years. Where is the better business business bureau at when you need them. Its laws against what they are doing.

Rebecca and Trell were respectful and kind when I first met them very easy process and the help along the way also they try to help with cheap pricing

I just moved in about 2 months ago my experience was great Mrs Veronica helped me with my application process and let me tell y’all she was GREAT she answered all my questions she even she explained every detail that I said WHERE DO I APPLY she is very polite , helpful , I haven’t experienced a great manager in such a long time , the office staff are so friendly and always have a smile on their face . This is currently the last month on my lease, and although I’ve paid my last months rent, I don’t even plan on staying the whole month!!! I can not wait any longer to move out. Broken leases should not be a thing when it comes down to apartments like these. For starters, when I moved into my apartment immediately I noticed the army of roaches, they were outrageous! I’ve had inspections, the roaches go away for a few days then they’re back crawling through all the cracked corners. Which leads me to my next issue, talk about some people just throwing some stuff together ? So they give you 48 hours to let them know if anything is wrong in the apartment, true enough, my first two days, the place was nice (besides the roaches) I checked everything out it seemed to be all peaches and cream. 2 days go by, besides the roaches I didn’t complain. A month into living here, and the apartment is falling apart literally. The ceiling fan in the bedroom just stopped turning on, the light stopped working days after that. The screws on the doors were too small, my bedroom and closet door were literally rigged, The stove only has one burner that works, all the others don’t get hot, the paint on the bath tub comes right off as if they used children’s paint, and don’t let me forget this parking. I don’t think there’s one person living here that hasn’t had their car or their visitors car booted or towed, you could have a pass and all, and they will find a reason. At some point I just started getting ready to make my next place my home because there’s no homey, cozy feeling here. I could go on and on, but at the end of the day, if Salado knocked 300 dollars off my rent every month, I still wouldn’t renew this lease.

Definitely not recommended at all!! As for the area it’s suppose to be cheap especially on how they turned in the apartment we started paying 685 but as our lease finished it went high up to 865. The value for renting these apartments are not suppose to be this high it gets infested with roaches within the month you move bc the wood is very rotten they just paint over the walls and tub parking spot there’s never a parking spot vehicle got stolen 3 times and it has gotten towed over 4 times for visitors you have to “register” your car which doesn’t make sense we’ve been throwing money to waste honestly never again I really do not recommend. Management only is nice to you in the beginning just so you can rent an apartment but afterwards they show they’re true colors they are never understanding!!

Veronica helped me finished my app got me settled and made my move in process smooth and quickly she convinced me to move in 3 days prior she was straight business, she is one beautiful manager very professional very grateful and blessed I got my new home . Even thought she was busy she stop everything and handled me very well , THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK VERONICA .

Somethings always broken, leaking, or not being taken care of properly. Management needs to communicate better to each other; they tried to charge us a late fee for not paying last months rent just because they couldnt find the payment all since we payed a couple days earlier than the day they changed everything to online payments even though 3 different girls who work in the office, including the manager had to take a look and find the payment we DID MAKE. On top of that, they tried to evict us a couple weeks ago for the SAME REASON. Even if they were going to evict us, they put the paper on our door 2-3 days before the day they wanted us out. We immediately went to the office to tell them we paid the rent the month before and they ended up finding it. I just dont understand how, after many times of repeating the same mistake in trying to charge us and evict us for a payment THEY SIMPLY CANT FIND, at first, they cant communicate with each other and let one another know about the situation, because every time something like this happens, its always a different lady who works in the office.

These apartments are horrible they don’t fix anything everything is always broken. They charge you for every little thing. They are no good and they also ignore maintenance problems.

Being at my current apartment I realize how good I had it at Salado. I pay $250 more for my new apartment and I cannot not stress enough the importance of responsive maintenance. Some of the best maintenance I’ve had only have to call one-time. The only negative I can say about the this place is parking can be tough at night. If you clean the apartment they will give you back your deposit.

Let me just start off by saying I love love love the new manager! AS SOON As she stepped on the property things begin to change. I even saw all the maintenance man with new haircuts! LOL! She is so nice, understanding and compassionate. She havent been here that long but to see A collage of change and good energy feels awesome when u have been dealing with Ignorance for 14 months. I honestly believe in the vision she has for Salado at Cityview and the tenants that reside on the property. GOD I HOPE SHE STAY! A genuine smile and compassion goes along way. a and this is a real review. I live here still.

We had trouble with rats and when the new management came in we were double charged for our old apartment and we werent required too pay anything but a deposit because that was their issue and the new management charged us rent and the property is the reason vwe had too move too another apartment and not too mention we have a 1 year old living with us and was still stay in an apartment with rats took so long for them too move out to another apartment. Someone stole my husbands catalytic converters and nothing was done about it and parking and towing is horrible

Apartment is nice and spacious. They have a beautiful staff, they work really hard and get things done in a timely manner. They are concern about residents safety and check on residents. Making good changes to the property. Cleaning up the property very well.. Highly recommended. Very peaceful

The ladies in the front office are very helpful.I had trouble paying my rent online and Neosha James took a lot of timeto get it right. Her friendly demeanor helped me relax cause i have anxiety.I appreciate her great customer service.Liz Gonzalez was very helpful and polite as well. Salado is quiet and has decent prices.It is located near bus 6 route right across the street and Family dollar is also right across the street and various other shopping opportunities.

I been living in Salado for about four years and I love it . My experience has been great even with my neighbors we all respect each other . I would recommend them any day to anyone . Ive lived in almost every unit they have except for the two bedrooms they all are nice and cozy and have a lot of room . Prices are very reasonable and the maintenance are very helpful and do things on time. The staff are just like family to me they understand especially with COVID-19 and a lot of people not having the same income as before they will work with you , treat you with respect , I love them especially Neosha the office manager.

Salado @ City View are great Apartments. I could honestly give you a ton of reasons but its simply people like Liz , Manager in Leasing office who makes the living experience here a beautiful breeze. They will work with you if you are honest during hardships and random pandemics. Liz has help me several times when I was low on funds Im grateful for her and this great experience. Very good if you work at the airport and want to save up some money because you get 20% off rent. Highly recommend getting a reserved parking spot. Only problem Ive had is they tend to take their time getting to any repairs, been dealing with a leaking roof for almost a year but otherwise its a great place.

I have been here for about 3 years now.. and I must say it is quiet and peaceful around here, its not too bad bc the kids and live there toys anywhere around here. And no body wont steal it. And yes its has been a lot of different manager. I just hope that they will keep the same manager. Salado has helped me a lot Thu hard times. And wont to thank Salado.

Ive Been Living In Salado For A Year,First Management Was HORRIBLE!!! Theres New Management Now & These Ladies Are Awesome!!!! Very Professional,Respectful & Always Smiling,Caring Attitudes & Fast Service!!! They Make You Geel More Than Welcomed… I Love My Apartment!!!

2 days ago they had a maintenance man go in to my 20 yr old daughters apartment with out notification or her permission. There was no work order and no emergency. They had absolutely NO reason to be in her apartment.When she moved in we had an alarm system installed and cameras just in case any thing were to happen we get police on the way and the cameras document what happened. Thank God we did because when they entered illegally we were able to retrieve the video for proof. I took it to the office and met with Neosha James (Community Manager) who was super helpful, courteous and apologetic. I shared the video with her and she promised to escalate it. She did as promised and thats is where I got the call from Veronica and that is where I have an issue. She didnt apologize, she didnt accept ANY responsibility and did nothing but make excuses and try to explain it away. This is my daughters apartment he went in to. I dont care what mistakes were made- there is NO EXCUSE! So instead of trying to resolve this issue and reassure us, Veronica decided to make it worse by telling me that he is a human and makes mistakes. NO! Going in someones home with out permission is not a mistake - its a crime!

Been at these apartments since April of 2019, Neosha has been a great help to me and my wife who moved in later on in August of 2019. Apartments are good, maintenance is okay as well (havent had any problems since my rodent situation and washer and dryer shutting down during my first month stay) but gate is usually broken so safety is a concern, just be sure to lock your doors and take anything valuable with you inside. Highly recommend getting a reserved parking spot as parking at night is horrible, power will sometimes shutoff but only during very bad thunderstorms, water will sometimes shutoff randomly but the office does their best to give the residents a notice. Only thing I can complain is the water may sometimes be ice cold for days and smell and my wife, myself and other residents sometimes have trouble seeing the Reserved parking spaces because some are faded so be sure to check if you have parked in a regular spot or you may get towed (which happened to me which is fine because I didnt check) Be sure to talk to Neosha if you have any concerns as she has been a great help and be sure to check for everything and anything in the apartments so maintenance can come and inspect it. February 29th is when my lease ends, will update if anything negative happens.

Neosha James is the truth... Me and my mom use to live in another complex she worked there and it was great, was so sad when she left (for good reasons) When we were in market for another Apartment we found out about Salado came to view and saw that she work here and knew it was our home sweet home lol... She stays on top of everything. Maintenance does their job quickly and efficiently... Love Love Love it here... JUST HATE TRYING TO PARK AT NIGHT!!! It’s really not the office fault tho!!!

ROACHES ROACHES ROACHES ! They also charged me over $1000 ! Claiming I never turned in my key or my 30 day notice ! Which I walked in the office to fill out . But the new nasty manager swears she has no record . Save your time don’t move here ! Maintenance don’t fix anything ! Cats on your porch ! Trash overflowed ! There are ALWAYS new office people and they are never up to date on what’s going on ! It has been 8 break ins since ive been staying here and they do nothing to fix it ! DONT MOVE HERE

The worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. For starters, the day I moved in noticed an army of roaches && a huge pile up of dead ants in my toilet, the apartment also had a horrible odor. I would tell the front office to put my name down for my apartment to be sprayed every 2 weeks sometimes he would show up && other times he wouldn’t. I later found out by the exterminator that the reason why he would barely show up was because the officer workers were to lazy to go to the back office an place my name on the sheet. One Monday I woke up an my boyfriends truck was stolen from the visitors parking spot. Ms Neosha the apartment manager was to lazy to even rewind the cameras to see who did it after asking her serval times... the next Monday I woke up an the rim && tire was stollen from my truck. I ended up getting this great opportunity in another state so I talked to the office manager Neosha about getting out of my lease, she wouldn’t allow it. So I went over her head to get out of it. I ended up losing my deposit (400), paying an extra month of rent(840)(I had moved out the apartment a month prior) && a relation fee of (665).... after paying all of that money I was happy to be done with that dump only to get a letter in the mailbox saying they are charging me 250 because I didn’t clean the apartment which I did an have pictures to prove it.... I’m sure that was just Neosha getting back at me for going over her head... I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, the office staff sucks, the neighbors are ghetto, the pool is closed more than it’s opened, no matter how clean you are you will have some type of bug or roaches in your home. The only positive is the maintenance team is awesome.

Their maintenance crew is pitiful. I have been here for over 2 years and they never fail to disappoint. They have a bad habit of not completing the job. They’ll come move stuff around, say they’ll be back in 10 minutes and never return. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX TO ANYONE. You’ll regret it at soon as you sign the lease.

This place finds anyway to screw you. They have bad management who cant keep up with anything and takes it out on their residents. Im glad I was in town this time, or else I would have been screwed.

I just recently moved into Salado Apartments and in my personal opinion and experience it was very welcoming. The receptionists, management, and team stuff was very helpful. I would like to Thank Liz for going above and beyond for me she was very patient with me and and with me getting all necessary documentation and helped me out tremendously I couldnt have done it without her help. I also would like to point out due to my abnormal height (69) I couldnt fit into a regular sized apartment nor a townhome(which by the way are nice sizes as well)without hitting my head around every corner and Liz seen the disappointment on my face and said dont worry I got you, and just like that I was placed in a beautiful upstairs apartment on the corner under a shade tree with a balcony also its allot of ceiling space havent hit my head on anything lol but I want to say Thank You LIZ for doing a fantastic job your hard work and dedication has really helped me out during a difficult time in my LIFE, just wanted to make sure you know how much I appreciated everything you did fot me. All future applicants go see Liz her dedication will surely get you in lol just dont lie and be st8 up with her.Good Luck !

Been living here two years . I always have to go in the office more than once to get anything done. It is a bad idea to move here. They cut the water off a lot. I recently have gotting mice in my apartment and they havent done anything about. I will.be moving when my lease is up.

New management is stupid. No parking spots unless you want to pay. Towing is unjustified. Pipes weak. No hot water pressure. Not resigning. Flood zone.

Lived here for only 6 month . There was a flood on April 18, 2016 which flooded out everythin . They have new management, (MRS. WOODS) who is the worst manager you can have. After the flood they still charged us rent for a unit that was indeed unlivable and had mold which isnt righ . I eventually found some where else to stay for a even better price and went to pit in my 30 day notice. 5 days after I put in my 30 day notice MRS. WOODS, the manager was trying to go trash my while unit, that had 2 flat screens and other items still in It. When putting in a 30 day notice u literally have the remainder of the month to move not ONLY 5 DAYS. so I got everything ou . They are poor at fixing anything when you put in a work order and always be sure to ask for copies when doing business with them because they WILL mess you over. BIG TIME. they have knats, pests problems , and when it rains over in the area the parking lot do flood bad so please have full coverage insurance. I lived in Haverstock hills apartments before living here and had a BETTER LIVING EXPERIENCE with Haverstock than I did Salado. Im being 100℅ honest. Ms. Dorrris or Dorene I think is the assistant manager in Salado and is the ONLY INE WHO ACTUALLY KNOWS WHAT SHE IS DOIN . if you do decide to move in these pitiful apartments , please go through ms. Dorris or whatever her name is.

I live here it’s a great quiet place to stay. Pet friendly great office manager. Maintenance come in within the first two hours of calling them. I would recommend you move here.

It is AGAINST TEXAS LAW to remove an animal from property without consent of renter! Doesn’t matter if it’s broken contract. If my dog is removed against MY CONSENT I will be sueing! And it’s an easy case to win. So again this is my final attempt to let YOUR STAFF know not to remove my service animal! Thank you!

Ive been in these apartments for a long time. Recently, theyve changed managers twice. They wont fix anything now. They lie about having apartments ready to move in, especially for a tenant like myself that got water damage due to Harvey and my lease was expired at the time, had to renew because I had no where else to go, and they still wouldnt transfer me. I put in my transfer in August. They dont care about nothing but money. I guess people have to keep calling corporate or break their lease. They are ridiculous

Im really angry at Gina the property manager and the office workers there.Was there from 845 am until noon. Because I dropped off paperwork before Harvey. Went back today....and the packet is significantly thinner and they cant find the rest. I did find a print out of another woman who also receives the dame funding im struggling with. Im suspicious.I also noticed an habitat inspection paper on Gina office window today. Dated few days ago.There are several structural violations and several electrical ones as well.

DO NOT MOVE HERE !!!!!!They are VERY unprofessional! Deliberately ignore phone calls. Deliberately answers the phone and hangs up as soon as it answers and try and say that you were the one who hung up! Then they give you the run around the entire time they are processing your application , they do NOT provide the CORRECT and HELPFUL information until AFTER they deny your application ! They are so full of it ! THELMA & THE MANAGER ARE THE WORST TO DEAL WITH ! I would NOT MOVE HERE !

Dont believe the hype about SAMANTHA she tried fooling me for 1k when I tried applying for a unit after I told her that I was not from Houston and was going to Tulsa Welding School (literally walking distance from the school) originally it was going to cost me 2200$ for a 3 month in advance but 2 days later its all changed(3k is what I was told I had to pay) after I told her I had the money.. Before you apply or even talk to this person do your recon folks...

Horrible place to live/visit. They turn off the hot water when they leave the office at closing time like people dont take baths overnight. Then it magically turns back on after they come back to the office at 10am they next day like really come on. How do your expect your tents and there kids to take baths in cold water?

Water gets shut off without any notice through out the month. Apartment may be infested with roaches. This one is. Also have seen mice. Ppl have called exterminators and little but nothing has been resolved. Think twice...but is roof over head.

Just getting ready to move in apt looks real nice N new1.2 years later...My handicap truck was bootedBecause boot company only looked at my plate not placard..month or so later my truck gets towed for having placard partial covered:($240 ) to get out of impoundGrrrrrr

Liz and Neosha are amazing by far, they are the hardest working staff whatever I have needed they have made sure I was good they always double check and make sure everything is secure .. Moving here is the best decision its safe quiet and secure ...They have really cleaned up these apartments by making these two ladys head in charge thanks so much ladies oh by the way I been here for 6 months best six months of my life !!!

The Manger Veronica has been very helpful compared to previous management I see the difference since Veronica has taken over she really does care about the residents and will go above and beyond her job to help

Do not rent here the apt complex is in bed with the towing company. They make more money out of towing tenants vehicles than they make out of leasing.

There is enough parking, which is very important because there is an apartment that has almost no parking. I had the worst experience of my life there, on April 18, 2016 I woke up at 5 in the morning with water up to my knees in my room. After that, although we no longer lived there, the owner gave us a 50% discount, even though the apartments were declared uninhabitable by the federal government. A month later they gave me an apartment on the 2nd floor infested with cockroaches and my wife was also assaulted at 1 in the afternoon through the main entrance. They snatched his bag and phone and the thief hid in an apartment. Apart from that, in the apartments that are not inhabited, vagrants and addicts go to sleep, take drugs and engage in prostitution, not to mention that where the mailboxes are, thats where the brunettes came to prostitute themselves. Cheap is expensive.

It is the best experience to live. Friendly people, the best treatment from the moment you go to the office to submit your application. The staff is very attentive and friendly, they help you in everything they can. Any damage that your apartment has is solved super quickly,

The new manager is a sweetheart, she takes care of me very well, the service she gives me, no one has given it to me, no one has lived here for 5 years and no one has given meHe has been treated like Verónica, apart from being pretty, very kind, I thank you for bringing a manager who does care about the residents.
