I really like living here. They take great pride in the property. You can see from the pictures possibly that they actually power washed the entire complex. Super quiet. Love having my garage underneath my home. Any problems with the community they jump on it ASAP. Maintenance crews are very helpful and friendly. The tenants are quiet and everybody pretty much keeps to themselves. Great value. All the gates are controlled by an app on your phone, which is helpful when delivery drivers arrive. You don’t have to worry about them doing the code wrong. You just buzzed them in remotely.
I’ve lived here for almost four years I think and I’ve never had an issue. I keep seeing reviews regarding roaches and have seen maybe 1-2 in the summer (when they tend to sneak inside homes more) seems like if you just keep a clean apartment you’ll be fine!! Maintenance guys have always been prompt and super friendly. I have a younger daughter and I have zero issue with her playing outside with all her friends all day, having said that, it’s also very quiet here! They love throwing parties and movie nights at the pool for all to join and have so many cute kid activities around the holidays. I work very late at night and have never felt unsafe AT ALL. I’ve never heard of any crimes around us (I check ALL THE TIME with having young kids) Rent is a little higher than I’d like but it’s on par with the FMV and as long as my kids and I feel safe then I’ll pay extra. The girls in the office have always been extremely friendly when I’ve needed anything. Plenty of parking for guests as well. Everyone waves at you while walking around too! Any time I have guests over, they compliment how nice the property is and I agree!! They are not owned by a big corporation which I like because you’re not just another number, they treat you like a person! Villas is a great place to live if you’re looking for a quiet SAFE place to lay your head.
We moved here in July! Move in process was so easy and simple! Sarah made the process super easy and answered all questions that we had. The “neighborhood” is super friendly and quiet. Would recommend this property to all and any of my friends or families needing to move!
I’ve lived here in 2 separate apartments over the past 4 years and I love it ! It’s quiet and the staff are friendly and helpful. I love that the garages are attached to the apartment, and maintenance is done in a timely fashion. They take pride in the facilities and really put time in planning activities for the community to enjoy.
I moved back into the Villas in April of this year. My late husband and I lived here 9 years ago, while building our home. He passed away 4 days prior to Christmas, 2023. I could no longer live in our beautiful home and decided to move back where we lived before, Villas at Cypresswood. They welcomed me back warmly and treated me like family. The property is always clean and if they see anything out of place, they immediately fix the problem. I have never felt comfortable in any apartment as I do here. Its exactly what I needed during this dire time in my life. The apartments dont look like a normal apartment, the units look like a house. The staff is very accommodating and they are constantly having fun events for the tenants. I have not heard any disturbances, noises or any type of crime. I would highly recommend my home, Villas at Cypresswood
Alissa was the first person I met here. When I walked in to tour the apartments, she asked did I have an appointment.. I said no and I can come back another day. Alissa didn’t turn me away, we sat down to go over everything I was looking for. She showed the apartment, d didn’t rush me! whenever I had questions she answered them in a professional manner! She followed up with me and helped make my move in a breeze! Other than Alissa, I have communicated with the manager via email(can’t remember her name 😢), she was also nice and made the approval process easy! From the office, maintenance, neighbors and location, this is an awesome place to live 😊
I just moved in and I’m actually pretty unhappy so far.I am really disappointed with the status of my unit. I’ve only been here a couple weeks and already submitted 11 maintenance tickets. Lots of things that were broken or not working at all when I moved in. My AC also went out my first week. It’s cheaply done and maintenance employees clearly have very little experience. I keep submitting the same maintenance tickets over and over but nothing actually gets fixed. The rent price cheap though, and the community itself is pretty quiet which is a plus.
Ive been a long time resident here at this property. As in life, situations and circumstances, no one or circumstance is perfect.I want to commend the front office and the maintenance teams. The maintenance team worked tirelessly to get my ac/heating unit working properly before the forecasted cold weather was upon us.Rent is a bit pricey, but, we have attached garages, which is a plus for me!Thanks Team Villas!
This place is leagues above any other similarly priced apartments in the area. The apartments are more of a townhouse style than 6 apartment buildings with 24 apartments in each building. The upkeep on the landscaping and property is very good. Parking is more than adequate.
Great Place to Live and have that feeling of Security and definitely a place to call home! Best Community to reside amongst. The Entire Staff is Amazing, Prompt, and Very Nice. I Certainly Appreciate Each and Everyone with much Gratitude.Thank You Sincerely!
Great place to live, Office personnel will listen to and address any concerns you have. Also the maintenance is fantastic they are very responsive to your maintenance issues. Property is quite, and is kept clean by workers. The workers also seem to value the work they do. The qualities I mentioned arent typical things youll find in other properties, especially around Houston. Good Job Villas.
I have lived here for almost 5 years, and Sarah has been such a joy for those 5 years. She is always responsive, and willing to help in any way possible. The maintenance staff is friendly and quick to resolve any issues. I enjoy living here, because of the proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The complex is quiet, and clean, and the grounds are well kept. I have never had an issue and recommend living here.
The complex stands out as one of the few 2 storied apartments that is not overcrowded and that has kept its aesthetics of well manicured lawns and clean grounds. I toured both the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units and was amazed by the spacious living rooms, bedrooms, kitchen, and bathrooms. Units come with xfinity internet and cable. Complex is quiet and is a short walking distance from a walking trail.
Alissa and Sara have great costumer service, they answer any question promptly. I have live here for a little under a year and my experience has being great, the complex is always calm and quiet and most importantly very clean! You guys do great!!
Living here has been the Best decisión ever, i m so happy and grateful, worked with Alisa has been perfect, she helped me all the time , she taked the time to explained me everything. This place is amazing, quiet, nice neighbors and the best support of the manager and Alisa they are the best. Highly recommend this place I m in love thank you Allisa for all your help. 20 starts
Toured the property for the 1st time this year a couple of months ago, lived in the area for years and never entered the gate. I give the Villas 2 stars only for what it COULD be and mainly the Aesthetics , please believe the negative reviews...Sarah assisted me and my mom with the viewing of a 1 bedroom floorplan for myself, even though I had an appointment it seemed as though I was in her way, Im very aware that this property was damaged by Harvey because I resided down the street in a neighboring complex that didnt flood so she couldnt lie to me about that..Upstairs didnt flood so I didnt care....This place is NICE like I said Aesthetics....however its old...you will have problems and yes you will more than likely have bugs and not to mention those little lizards are everywhere!!! Sarah didnt like when I brought up roaches lol..she tried to shy from it but I also mentioned the reviews as well, of course she tried to say people lie but we all know the same lie will not be repeated over and over... Im not the resident who is shooed by the pool and office.. Thats not where my bed is going.... I dont do roaches, never have never will..if I can avoid the issue...I will..also if I can avoid bad management I will...How about she never followed up with an email or call like every other complex? Lol.. Why ? Because she was challenged..But thats okay because my mind was made up when I walked out the door.. I dont ponder on apartments for too long you got too many choices! THIS REVIEW IS MY EXPERIENCE, MY OPINION! Its not in anyway telling you NOT to rent here..because as we can see there are people who dont mind these types of things..then there is me.. #dodgedabullet 😃
*Worst move EVER*ROACH infestation! I initially found this complex through an apartment locator. Sarah the leasing manager helped through the app process. Initially she was kind polite & seemed honest, but eventually she became a liar, rude and unprofessional. I asked many times to see the unit throughout July, however I was denied doing so. On the day of move in (July 30th) I was forced to take possession of unit 401 although both Sarah & the property manager Merel were aware of the infestation & improper make ready. Roaches were up the walls in the ceilings on the carpet in the kitchen in the bedrooms in the toilets EVERYWHERE. 3 maintenance guys currently installing a new fridge, house cleaning in the restroom, no mirrors in the restrooms, broken master door mold in the ceiling fan. Merel was initially very dismissive and insensitive to this situation stating she would get with corporate & get back with me. To accommodate, I was originally sent an email by Sarah stating they were only going to release me from the lease by Aug 31st & of $2700 they would only give me back $800! I bombed the unit over 18 times & by the Aug 12th returned the keys & cleared the unit. After a heated conversation with Sara, mentioning my attorney etc I spoke with the Regional manager was able to help get some understanding. In the end, I was refunded my full $2750 of my money by this property within 3days & asked to write a review in good faith by the property manager merel. However, I will say looks can be deceiving & I myself did not have a pleasant stay or move to this property! I wouldn’t recommend. Keep looking.
Villas at Cypresswood has been amazing! Staff very pleasant since we walked through the doors. All staff from office to the staff working on the property. They do great in the upkeep of the property. Its quiet and peaceful. I was nervous moving into apartment after living in a home for over 20years. I dont regret my move. Looking for a place to call home come take a tour and trust me you will not be disappointed!Laura Maldonado
Was glad to leave. The washer was so dirty it ruined several outfits. It turned my white clothes a dingy gray & my towels still smell. It took them a year to replace it. My garage door would pop open & they didnt consider that an emergency, even though I had furniture stored in there that anyone could take. It took them days to repair it. Then theres the gate that several times I couldnt get in. The only way to open it is with a phone app. If your battery runs down or you forget your phone at home, youre out of luck.
Sarah and Alissa do a wonderful job with the tenants. They are 5 Star employees. I very much enjoy living here.
What a great place to call home! I lived here for almost 7 years. I only moved because I bought my own home. Let me just say my standards were very high because of this complex. I became accustomed to luxury and expect only the best now. In my years I met so many amazing neighbors whom also stayed here several years. The girls in the office were always so helpful. The maintenance are phenomenal! My needs were met next day! If I needed to go back I would in a heartbeat .
We moved in 2 years ago sight unseen from out of state. The office staff made the move seamless, and we were able to see pictures and sign leases before we even got to Houston. My wife read hundreds of reviews for other complexes, and we thought Villas was the best fit. You can pay your rent and put in service requests right through an app on your phone which is very convenient for someone on the go. We are probably 45 minutes from Central Houston and the same distance from Conroe. We feel safe walking our dog early in the morning or late at night and the staff has been helpful and accommodating. The grounds are clean and well-kept year around. We highly recommend.
RUN don’t WALK!!!! Renting here will be your biggest regret and that’s saying a lot considering all the terrible choices you’ve probably made throughout life! There’s a reason multiple whole buildings are empty and every day more and more people are moving out! Trust the actions of us tenants not the fraud words and behavior the front office will try to display. You’ll never EVER live in a worse apartment complex in your whole entire life! If you have lots of money (hundreds) to spend monthly (yes monthly) on extra charges then this is definitely the place for you. If you like your vehicles being stolen along with six other people in one night… again this is your place! No seriously take the advice of all of us previous tenants and RUN!!! Yes I’m a tenant front desk moderator, don’t post some stupid comment about me not being one 🥱
Very nice place to live property is very will taken cared of. The office staff is very friendly and nice to everyone and they always making sure that the residence are happy and satisfied with their living situations.
Thanks Villas at Cypresswood Apartments for taking a good care of customers. My unit air conditioner suddenly is out of order. I put the notice to repair and just in 2 hours after that , it is done!Thank You so much! Thanks Ranulfo Juarez so much! This is such a good place to stay.ThanksHa Doan----------------------------------------------------------------------I just renew my 3rd year contract staying in this apartment. This is a quiet place, good location, near HEB, Kroger, Vintage shopping mall and hospitals. I like my unit because it has the attached garage that make me feel living in a townhouse more than in an apartment. I have nothing to complain. All the requests to repair or maintenances required have been done quickly, responsibly. Their staff is very professional and friendly. Thank Sarah, Alissa and the other working team here.
Y’all.. just a word of caution.. if you’re searching for an apartment and are considering Villas at Cypresswood, then please continue your search. I moved in two weeks ago and already can’t wait to move out! In the two weeks I’ve been here…. I’ve been fined for leaving my trash outside in front of my unit, even though my lease states that I pay $40 per month for trash valet and was instructed on where to leave my trash. I’ve placed 3 work orders (2 for appliances that don’t work properly and 1 for roaches) and now they want to charge me $75 for adding someone to my lease so that they can have gate access to my unit. The person won’t even be living here! The grounds look great from the outside, but be warned… what’s behind the scenes is not worth the outrageous cost of rent to live here! 11 months and 2 weeks before I can move out! … and yes I’m already counting down! Don’t make the same mistake I made… go spend your rent money elsewhere!Update: April 2024 --- NO MORE JUST A WORD OF CAUTION... READ THE REVIEWS AND DO NOT RENT HERE. The buildings are overrun with roaches. The management company wont treat for them. My neighbor sent me video of the roaches in her refrigerator (pic attached, as well as a random selection of recent pics taken in my apartment), and my apartment has been infested as well! The management company refuses to do anything about it. I get messages that the entire build is going to be treated or has been treated on a specific day .... yet my cameras do not pickup anyone in my apartment or outside treating the area. Ive spoken with numerous neighbors in my building as well as other buildings who all complain of the same issue. I travel A LOT and every time I leave, I get rid of all my food just to try to mitigate the issue. (doesnt work).I have yet to meet a neighbor that hasnt had a complaint about the management company and the way the residents have been treated. I have requested the name of the owner of the building multiple times and have been refused the information. Please do yourself a favor. Dont even consider the Villas at Cypresswood as an option for you or your family.
I moved back to Villas at Cypresswood in 2022 after moving out due to Hurricane Harvey. Im glad to be back to a clean, quiet, and home-like environment!! The maintenance staff is quick & efficient. The leasing staff always meets my needs!! And...the home came with a garage!!🙂
Ive lived at Villas for the past 6 months and Ive had nothing but a positive experience. They have really fun resident events and a sweet staff. My work orders get completed quickly and maintenance checks in to ensure everything is fine afterwards. 10/10 would recommend. ( bonus: the free cable and internet is a cool plus)
If I could give -5 stars I would. This place is the most ridiculous place I have ever lived in. My apartment was full of roaches before I even put my mattresses inside ! I would ask for pest control and roaches would still appear. Also, they would kick me out of the pool if I didn’t wear a bikini but I saw a lady go in the pool covered from top to bottom because of her religion and no one told her anything. I have now moved out and I have waited for them to give me my refund check and i have yet to receive it. We have called the office and Sarah states she cant do anything about it. They can obviously fix this issue but they just don’t. She Comes with an attitude as soon and she’s picks up the phone but gets all mad if you give an attitude back. It is unbelievable that they want you to pay so much money and on time but won’t give you YOUR OWN MONEY BACK!!
Love the place, couple of days ago was Taco Tuesday, great tacos, and a killer margarito machine. Month before that had a wine night and art, it was really fun. Place and people are very peaceful. Movie nights for the kids. Management always engaging and smiling. And we can walk from our property which is attached to the Kickerillo Preserve. Beautiuful lake, they have canoes once a month that Harris County provides, fishing and great running trail. Kindest Regards,
Beware! This place a has a roach problem that they will not fix and the walls are thin as paper. You can hear your neighbors conversations, dogs barking, loud music and so on all the time. The outside looks nice and is kept up and the people in the office are nice but dont be fooled the living experience unbearable. You will regret it the day after you move in but will be stuck for the remainder of the lease.
WARNING: this apartment complex is not owned by a corporate group. It is owned by ONE woman who decides unilaterally how to handle finances. She STOLE our deposit the first time we transferred apartments, and then attempted to charge MORE on top of the second stolen deposit when we moved out. The cleaning/damages both times were very minimal (we took the time to clean EXTENSIVELY too), but as the office put it its a small company, so they dont want to have to pay for a cleaning person. In other words, they want YOU to make the apartment move-in ready for the next person (even though thats THEIR responsibility!)So just be aware. They will take photos of every particle of dust and small spot of dirt left behind and take large amounts of your deposit for it. They will charge $250 for a $5 paint job. It is actually a nice complex, so I was shocked to find that the owner engaged in such a practice that should be beneath her and her complex.
We have lived here for over a year and we have been very happy, The office staff and the maintenance crew are always very polite and very helpful and always greet you with a smile. We recently moved from 1 unit to another and they made the move and transfer very easy for us. I was moving my stuff in and the maintenance man was so very kind to unload my truck and set into the garage for me. Now that right there my friend is very good service :) Whenever you see the staff or maintenance workers on the property, they always wave and give you a great smile. Maria and Sara both have been nothing but kind and very helpful each time I have needed to contact the office. I highly recommend family, friends and anyone looking for a nice place to move to come check out the Villas you will be glad you gave them a chance. Ask for Maria or Sara and Im sure they will be glad to help you. We are very pleased to call the Villas our home. The apartments are very nice and really do feel like you live in a house. Thank all of the staff at the Villas for helping us find our home and happy place. :)
I enjoy living at the Villas @ Cypresswood and will be renewing my lease for an other term. The property is very well maintained, quiet and offers nice amenities. Its a pet friendly property and has lots of grassy areas throughout to walk your fur babys. The other residents are very neighborly throughout the property and thats always nice. In the year that I have resided here I have not had any issues with rodents, pest, theft or any other major concerns that typically occur when renting apartments. Any maintenance request are resolved in a timely manor. All the maintenance staff have been friendly and willing to go above and beyond to assist when needed. The office staff is even greater!! Sarah & MJ have been very kind to me while living here and easy to work with and talk to. I have never experienced any ill feelings or dislike from either of them. I couldnt ask for a better leasing team. When I fell on temporary hard times and had a slight set back, Sarah went over my options and helped me make a decision that best suited me and not the business. It was very comforting to know that they care about their tenants well-being. I enjoy renting here a lot. Its close to shopping and highway 249 which makes for easy commute into Houston for work. If I had to suggest or request anything outside of whats already being offered it would be to add a enclosed pet area where the dogs can roam off leash a bit. Other than that the place is perfect for my needs. :-)
Ive lived here for 3 years and absolutely love Villas. Amazing staff, especially Sarah and Merle. Im leaving Houston so Im moving out, but I would happily stay here for many more years if I remained in Houston. Great pool, great grill, great security. I love this place.
We moved to Houston on January 4 2016 because of my husbands new job.We leased our apartment online. We didnt have to come over to see the apartment.Everything was done online smoothly and easily.New appliances and new buildings.Main door and garage opens by controlClean and quiet property.Friendly neighbors.Rent prices are fair comparing to other apartments complex.Maintenance wise is wonderful. You can make a convenient maintenance request onlineI dont have any issue since I moved here.I really want to appreciate the maintenance team especially Adan and Israel they are very professional ,respectful, helpful and friendly and get things fixed very well and fast.Every time when they fix an issue never will worry about it besides they are hard workers.I highly recommend this apartment complex for everyone looking to lease in this area.
I’ve recently moved into Villas at Cypresswood and the community is always clean and quiet.
This complex has stolen a dog from one of the apartments, how low can they be? They admit they took it and said they will return it but instead left us waiting and did still not return it yet
My experience with this company was horrible. I asked what all the requirements/ details on move in and application fees the whole process. Never did they say I couldn’t get my $400 back and when I called back just to get a explanation on why I wasn’t receiving the security deposit back, I thought this was scammed like because you usually don’t give security deposit until you move in . I ask not to write on the $400 money order because because I wanted to be available to get it back just in case something go wrong. She informed me I would get it even if I wasn’t approved never said nothing about this questionnaire they have anything to do with whether I get my $400 back or not ! The manager was rude when I just called to get a understanding i was nice and pleasant when ask my questions. She old me im grown i can read she not underline nothing for me to go read it ! Be careful guys!!! $600 down the drain never will i give a security deposit up front! I wouldn’t even give one star but i had to just to post my review! They also
Myself and my roommate have been looking around in the area for luxury apartment homes w/ attached garages and these are so beautiful!!! The feeling that you get on when you enter the gate is so refreshing and comfortable. The leasing office is beautiful as well as the service that you get from the HR and Leasing department. Suzy gave us our tour of the apartment that we are looking forward to move into very soon. I think this will be a great start to the beginning of a new experience.
Great community, love the garages, and Sara is the best! :)
I have been living here for 6 months. The units are OK. However, leasing office doesn’t seem to care if you have a concern. Emails have never been answered especially by Sarah. I can deal with that, however recently I had found couple snakes in 2 different days in the front door of my apartment, one of these snakes is a coral snake that is known to be venomous. I have contacted the office and sent several emails to Sarah and went personally to the office asking if anything can be done but all of that was ignored. I am attaching a pic of one of the snake in a small pile in-front of my door that can be easily get missed if I wasn’t being attention. I am not trying to cause a negative reputation for this apartment complex, but some acknowledgement by management can assure me that something will be done. I have waited 10 days after these 2 incidents before deciding to post the matter in the review section.
Nice apartments but ridiculous prices for EVERYTHING! After moving in we thought that this was going to be a great place to live and that this was going to be our new home for awhile. The location is good and the community is quite. Its the staff and the management at this location that ruins it! Office hours were changed without considering ALL the residents that live here. Some people go to work before the office is open and arent home until after 5 when they are closed. Getting penalized for holding packages in the office and not picking it up in a timely manner. What is that?? All these additional charges are unacceptable! If you have any visitors, make sure you get permission from the office first. They will find anything to charge you for. Maintenance issues are not taken care of immediately. None of the outlets in the unit work. Very disappointed. The complex is half empty...I see why now!!! Time to move on.
Today is my first day at the Villas after signing the lease papers, and I am regretting my decision already. The office managers are as unscrupulous as they come. My rent went up $116 after I had locked in a lower rent online. They threw a curved ball at the last moment with my movers waiting at the Gate. And get this...the manager threatened to retain my deposit if I didnt sign the lease and take the keys.I shouldve known when they had a sneaky availability policy. They did not give me the apartment I locked-in online. It had all options including wood floors and an attached garage. But lo and behold that apartment vanished and I was offered the exact same apartment on the first floor...except it costs more to have wood floors (theyre cheap laminate by the way) on the first floor! That was their lame excuse. Please do not rent here!UPDATE 10/2015Its been 4 months since i moved out and there is no sign of my deposit check. I called about 10 times, and each time the accountant is either busy/out sick/out on the property. They never return your calls. I wonder how such an unscrupulous company can still be in business. I am considering my legal options now.
I am signing lease for 2nd year...absolutely love this complex. Super convenient to northwest side of town. Close to great walking trails with the preserve. Nice ammenities. Responsive Management team. Vintage Park shopping and movies and restaurants. Wont be moving again as long as Im working on this side of town.
Great place to call a home! We have lived here for 5 years, ever since my first daughter was really young. Now with our second daughter we continue to love it! The community is safe and the residents are friendly and respectful. It is always well kept with a lots of gardens, beautiful pool and patio furniture, which makes an evening walk enjoyable. It is family friendly and the staff is always very helpful and considerate. They have fun community events always full of treats and goodies.Cable and internet is free which is also a plus! We recommend anyone to live here!
They are a very beautiful inside and out, management team/leasing agent are very nice people but they are very misleading. They misled us to believe we got the apartment and we’re to expect keys on Friday (07/10/20), the apartment is now off the market according to Sarah, the leasing specialist. My girlfriend and I met the financial income criteria for the apartment, so we put in our 60 day notice to our current apartments. Soon after that we got denied. Now we are stuck in a situation trying to find a new place w/in 60 days with a baby on the way. Again, beautiful place- just get your information all the way through to them before putting money into the applications and deposits.
This apartment community is by far the best value in the area. Hands down. We lived here about 13 months and cant even begin to tell you how comfortable we were. For starters, this place is generally quiet and very safe (I think there was even a deputy sheriff living on the property at one point). We were within walking distance to the Kickerillo-Mischer Nature Preserve (which is regularly patrolled by constables) and surrounded by green trees throughout the property. If we ever had any issues with the apartment (plumbing, lighting, etc.), the maintenance team was always very prompt and courteous about making it right. We never had to wait more than a day or so to have it looked at. But honestly, they were usually out the same day if we submitted the work order early enough in the day. All that just to say that the property is very well taken care of. The ladies in the front office were always very courteous and welcoming, as well as the maintenance guys that we regularly encountered. Assuming youre well-qualified to begin with, you pay your rent on time, and dont tear up your place, you can count on having a pleasant experience (even getting your deposit back!). But even if you dont necessarily have it all together (like most of us), theyre very patient and willing to work with you. Some other things we really liked about this place was the amount of parking, the closeness to everything (shopping, groceries, entertainment, hospitals, etc.), and the price. Best bang for your buck without a doubt. (Oh! Almost forgot... cable TV and high-speed internet included with your rent!) They also have pool parties and events throughout the year with free food and stuff like that. Lots of fun, even for introverts like us. Well definitely miss living at the Villas for sure.
This community is by far the best apartment complex I have lived in. The ladies in the office are very nice and helpful. When we have guests over they dont have to park away for my apartment, and dont have to worry about parking in my neighbors space. My neighbors are very friendly and everyone speaks to each other. I will always recommend this community to anyone that needs a good place to stay. And in closing no crime in this complex thats very important. STAY GREAT!
I have lived at Villas for nearly two years, and have experienced no serious issues whatsoever during that time. I feel safe and at home living here, and any maintenance issues that have arisen have received attention from the maintenance staff either the same day or first thing the next day. The office staff are friendly, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for a place for rent in Northwest Houston.
Terrible management. Definitely not worth the money it costs. We moved in summer of 2014 and moved out December 2015. The only reason we stayed so long is because we were TRYING to save up money to buy a house. The maintenance crew are friendly but they dont really fix problems, they just temporarily improve it until it needs fixing again. When our original year lease was up, we renewed for another 6 months and our rent went up almost 100 bucks. I understand it has to move with the market, but people I know in other complexes in the area dont have that big of jumps in rent. Also, upon getting a dog we did the right thing and notified the office and paid our $1000 deposit. They filed it wrong and we basically got $1000 towards rent, and never was our monthly charge raised to show the extra $10 pet rent. (Good for us but shows poor management). Same thing happened when we resigned the lease. We came forward, saying that we had a dog, paid the $1000 again. And once again, they filed wrong, we got free money towards rent and they never added our pet rent to our monthly charges. Time to move out, finally, and they dont show up for myove out inspection. I was sitting in my empty apartment waiting for them and had to call down to the office to remind them. We eventually get the final bill. Not only do we not get any part of our original $300 deposit back, we owe an extra $500. I cleaned the entire apartment floor to ceiling, and I really mean scrubbed. And yet they still find $800 dollars worth of stuff to charge us for (carpet, sink, washer/dryer, mirrors, paint, etc.) I understand maybe doing a few of them just as courtesy to the next tenant, but I shouldnt have to pay for something 1. That I already cleaned myself because its in the lease that we have to clean upon move out and 2. That they do to every apartment as a courtesy to new tenants. Sorry for the long post, Ive just never been this unhappy with a company before. Currently we are in the process of diputing some of the charges with the accounting manager. Dont move here unless you are ready to be disappointed.
My parents were the ones that picked this place, sadly I didnt get to see it before they moved me in since I was moving from another state back to Houston for work. Gotta say, the only reason my mom loved this place was the garage space. Other than that, the 1 bedroom apartment is too small, didnt fit my desired sq ft. Ive had issues with the apartment ever since I moved in. My garage keeps opening on its own so when I come home my garage is open but every time I submit a work order maintence cant find anything wrong. The office ladies are decent but when it comes to handling issues theyre not looking out for their residents, its about the business first. I cant wait until my lease is up so I cant leave this place and find a better place for myself!
AMAZING COMMUNITY!!!!! I Lived here for 7 years and excited that I am moving back!! Merle, Maria & Sarah have been awesome. They have accommodated to all my moving needs and wants. Apartments are spacious and grounds are beautifully maintained. Proud to say this will be my home sweet home!! 5 Stars and totally recommend anyone looking for a wonderful place to live, look no further you will find everything you need right here at the Villas!!!!
I’ve hope 0 star was an option this place is trash in all levels please go across the street best place on Cypresswood dr. Managment 0 starsMaintenance 0 starsNeed I go on? You will not like this Apartments I give them a 0 star.Cypresswood dr is known as a prestige street and this villas are not at par. They will fit better in third ward somewhere.
We lived here for less than 7 months and when we moved out, we got notified that they were withholding our entire deposit 600 which was more than half of our rent for “cleaning.” We have always kept the apartment in great condition and to charge us 600 for cleaning is BEYOND excessive and reasonable. We have tried to reach out to management to discuss but they have yet to respond. I think they are waiting until the 30 days so it gets turned over to collections.
Myself and two roomates enjoyed our stay at Villas at Cypresswood. This review reflects what happened after we left. We got none of our $500 security deposit back and instead owed money. Before leaving, we cleaned up as much as we could. We vacuumed, cleaned the tubs, kitchen etc. It was not good enough apparently. They took $70 dollars off our deposit just to reclean the tubs and $30 to clean the top of 3 ceiling fans. Insane!! This is the last thing we needed, especially during a pandemic! If you are thinking about living here, enjoy your stay, but do NOT expect to get your security deposit back.
Unlawful Fines added to resident accounts. Management thinks that by coming up with a fine overnight and sticking it on your door makes it a legal binding contract be the next day. If that is the case then what is the purpose of the lease agreement if they are going to just do as they please? Outlets in the apartment trip and or do not work (other tenants have the same issue), trash compactor is always full, manager has not managerial skills or knowledge about customer satisfaction, maintenance is lacking skills and ability, doors and walls are paper then. Dont let them fool you about the officer on the premises he only addresses certain noise disturbances, otherwise to call the cops.
My fiancé and I visited the property on September 05,2020. At the end of the the day we did decided not to move forward with the application and withdraw or application it was nothing personal towards the property or the people at the office. It was due to other circumstances. Sarah has been very professional and polite even after we withdrew our application. The reason I’m writing a review is because I feel like most of these reviews give this place a bad image. To my personal experience the people were very professional and nice and the place is very beautiful and quiet. Even when we cancel our application they were not resentful or unprofessional at any time. I seen that a review that says this place is a “scam” if they read the application and talk to them they will fully see what’s refundable and what’s not.
My husband and I went to look at these apartments and they were absolutely amazing!! Has a very nice community and is very appealing to the eye and thats just on the outside, when we got into the unit to look we were shocked😯 In a very good way, it is very spacious and and has a very homie feeling, the bedrooms are spectacular, very big and the closet size was a dream. I can go on for days about these apartments because they are really that great. The leasing agent sarah is very nice and friendly as well and told us everything we needed to know about the property and was very helpful. Hopefully this will be our new home soon!! Keeping fingers crossed 🤞!!
I lived here from end of April 2019 through August 2020.I enjoyed the property quite a bit. It was well kept, nice grounds, maintenance is awesome, friendly and quick. The amenities are nice (i.e, pool, clubhouse, fitness center and a car wash!) and the floor plan I had was awesome, 2 bedroom above my garage. Its a quiet complex even though its on a pretty busy intersection. The thing that I liked the most was I could walk from my apartment over to the Kickerillo Mischer preserve and during the covid 19 pandemic it was nice to have a place to get out and get some exercise and take in the nice scenery. MJ and Sarah were friendly and super accommodating. I highly recommend this place. Only reason I moved away was I left the state.
Updated June 14, 2018: I feel the need to update this review. After living here for a year, I feel like 5 stars is not an adequate rating for this complex. The staff, for the most part, is extremely helpful. The General Manager, however, is incompetent. She has a generally happy disposition but was routinely late whenever I had meetings setup (during my scheduled work hours) and seemed lost by the day to day dealings within the office. Furthermore, after Harvey the complex was an absolute wreck and stayed that way until my move-out in April of 2018. Im still unsure if theyve removed the large dumpsters, trash, and construction items that littered the campus post-Harvey. From a personal standpoint, I had to fight tooth and nail for my garage to be repaired from the flood damage caused by the flooding for months. It was finally completed months after the fact with no financial compensation for the time required to rent a storage unit since my garage was no longer usable. This complex does has some things going for it, though. Pre-Harvey it really was a nice, quiet, and charming little community. The grounds were clean and my wife and I walked our dog every day around the complex with no worries whatsoever. They also include cable and internet with your rent (through Comcast) so you can upgrade to some incredibly fast bandwidth and an extended cable channel lineup for dirt cheap (like 10 bucks extra month). The apartment units were clean and well kept (at least in my experience) besides the appliances being a little old.To sum up: Mostly helpful staff, besides the GM. Cheapest luxury apartments (if you factor in cable being included with your rent) in the Vintage Park/Cypresswood/Willowbrook area. I would recommend to friends and family as long as theyve cleaned up the grounds and found a more competent contractor to repair the damaged units post-Harvey. If I could give 3.5 stars, I would.
Apartments are very nice and clean!!! Love the garage. Nice and quite community. I walk my dog at night and Im the only one out there. Maintenance has been quick to respond with minor issues. I like that its not a big and overcrowded complex. Sarah and the rest of the staff are very friendly and responsive!! You should definitely check this place out!!!
Lived here for 3 yrs and now moving to Frisco. Serious bang for the buck living here. 2 bed, 2 bath, free cable and internet and attached garage. Very quiet development and friendly neighbors. I have to seriously downsize moving to Dallas. I will be paying 200.00 more for 1bed and 1bath with no garage.
Ive been living at The Villas at Cypresswood for 10 months. The property is well maintained and my unit is nice. The property is very quiet. I have made 2 maintenance requests and they were resolved as promised.
Id like to start off by saying that BEFORE Harvey happened, this apartment complex was perfect. Very clean complex, always quiet, nice neighbors, and very friendly staff. The price for rent wasnt too bad, considering that internet and cable were included - but I will say the pet deposit was crazy expensive! I paid $1,000 for my dog plus pet rent each month.Fast forwarding to after Harvey; it was a complete mess. My apartment wasnt completely fixed until 7 months after the hurricane. Yes, 7 months! I moved in May 31st 2017, Harvey happened in August, and everything wasnt fixed until March of 2018. My lease ended on June 9th, 2018.So my issues and concerns with what happened after Harvey:1. More than half my lease I lived in a damaged apartment. Youd think that my rent would be discounted, right? Nope. Still paid the full price.2. This complaint correlates to the one above. I had an attached garage, which if you have that your rent is more than someone who doesnt have one. Well, I wasnt able to use it for the majority of my lease... You see what Im getting at? Again, no discounted rent.3. The next couple of complaints have to do with the construction workers. The construction workers didnt do a good job cleaning up after themselves. I got a flat tire from the nails that were left behind with all of the other trash/residue.4. My microwave I had in my garage was stolen. Luckily, I was refunded what I paid for the microwave though.5. Whenever they were repainting my garage, they got paint on a lot of my items. I was instructed by the complex to move all of my items to the middle of my garage so that the workers could cover it with a sheet so it wouldnt get paint on our stuff. Whenever I had complained to MJ, or the manager, about the damage - her argument was that I needed to remove anything I didnt want paint on out of the garage, and the stuff I didnt care about was to be moved to the middle of the garage. Okay...first of all, who wants paint on ANY of their stuff - whether its important or not? The apartment complex was then generous enough to offer me a discounted amount of $50 less than what I had originally paid for rent, IF I renewed my lease! Wow!! On top of that, it would ONLY be offered for 6 MONTHS of the new lease! Uh, no thanks. In conclusion, I of course decided not to renew my lease due to all of the issues that had occurred . Flooding happens often in Houston, so I didnt want to risk being screwed over again. :)

Merle is just amazing! Incredibly patient will all my questions and she was always very responsive anytime I needed a question answered. I highly recommend this property because of how nice the apartments are but the staff is awesome...which is rare in the apartment industry. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
RUN AND DO NOT LOOK BACK!I rented a 3 bedroom apt for tow years and left it in way better shape than I got it. When I got my deposit letter after move out, it stated not only did I lose my $600 deposit but I owed them. I turned my notice as required per my lease. I confirmed with staff that my move out was the 1st and thus no rent was due. Now being billed for 11 days of rent even though rent was due on the first and never was I told that I would be liable for 11 days rent. They will do anything to not give you back your deposit. Also watch out for the GFI receptacles they trip all the time
Warning dont move here, there car theft on the property. I view a review that stated, (They will work with you regarding rent.) But the manager told me, The resident are never late with rent payments, and your deposit isnt refunded. The office pretends to be perfect, white women, with1. Car theft2. Theft of resident deposit.Check out the property, across the street, for the Villas at Cypresswood.Thank Jesus for denial, of my applications.
We just moved in a few months ago and there are several issues with this property - walls are thin and you can hear your neighbor snoring - can hear neighbor walking around shaking the floor - old clanky washer - worn out carpets - can feel carpet tack strip poking through - management said carpet was only 1 year old and they would not replace it - windows are cheap quality and can hear everything outside - pool is under constant maintenance - all lawn cutting, trimming, blowing is done every Saturday morning so forget about a relaxing enjoyable Saturday morning. It is not worth $1200 a month even with a garage.
After looking at 15 different apartments complexes in the area, I found that this is the perfect place for me and my little pup! I was so pleased with my visit and Sarah was very helpful especially since this will be my first time in an apartment! I had terrible first impressions with a lot of the other places I visited but the Villas at Cypresswood was the complete opposite! I look forward to spending my first year in Houston here!
My family and I have lived at this community for 2 years and I simply would not live anywhere else. I elected a spacious 2 Bed /2Ba, with a staircase within the actual unit (stairs inside with an attached garage is a hard feature to find in Cy-fair, Tomball, Woodlands, Heights, Spring practically anywhere.).. From my initial contact via the phone to schedule a tour and meeting the consultant professionals; I have not been disappointed. The leasing professionals, maintenance team, and management team have always exemplified a caring and genuine concern for my needs and concerns as a resident. After two years of living here still when I enter the office for various reasons Im greeted with a stand, smile and pleasing disposition. I love the convenience of having an attached garage, business center, and functional fitness room on property. The online portal makes it feasible to transact my rent payment, maintenance request, and learn about community updates. FREE Wi-Fi & Internet service, monthly schedule AC filter changes for your home, efficient lawn care service, ... are just a few more benefits to appreciate with this community. The newest addition to our neighborhood is the Beautiful Kickerillo-Mischer Preserve located directly behind the property. Saturday mornings a go for a run or walk with my daughter. We simply love it!!! The residents here are AMAZING as well. On any given weekend you will see families and kids cooling down at the pool, grilling and relaxing in this hot Houston weather. My daughter LOVES spending time at the pool. Shes not a strong swimmer so the pool is a perfect size for beginners or for those who want to enjoy an evening swim. By now you must be thinking I am a part of the staff or a hired writer. If so. you are so far from the truth. Funny story to share... I registered for a Leasing 101 class this past July out of curiosity to explore and expand my knowledge base. While listening to the instructor teach about successful business practices to execute and look for when touring properties, I suddenly realized that my community professionals at Villas at Cypresswood were on point and I was so fortunate to be living where I was. In addition to that experience, when I was searching for an affordable home for my daughter and l, I read tons of unfavorable reviews regarding community homes. Therefore, I thought it would be fitting to spotlight my Home to offer hope to those of you searching for a safe and affordable community to finally call HOME. Of course no place is Perfect..but Villas at Cypresswood has been and will remain perfect for my family for years to come! So if you decide to tour our community... all I request is that you print this review and show to the leasing professional. I will serve as your GOOGLE REFERRALThank You AgainYour Google REFERRALWait!! !l I do want to share one issue I have with this community..... I wish I would have moved here sooner:) So dont you dare pass up the only place that is guaranteed to meet your needs. Villas at CypresswoodThe only place to call Home
My experience with this place was like a nightmare. just giving yall a heads-up. They will charge you whatever (absurd things) to keep your deposit if you decide to move out there, they are not as friendly as they claim, and there is nothing special or unique about the complex, in fact put in for a work order and wait for weeks for it to be closed. The management can not wait to charge you for the air you breath ( like they dont get paid). Im not adding nothing here, just being honest about this place, i will definitely not recommend it. If i did not have a bad experience with this apt complex, i will not waste my time writing this review, in fact this is the 1st time i write a review to let others know what they are walking into.
I wish I would of read the reviews before even moving in. If you look at shawns review and Kelsey they pretty much said they charged them after they moved out but it wasnt a reasonable amout it was an absurd amount. Well, we recieved a bill stating we will not be recieving our deposit back and that we needed to pay $883 in 30 days. I understand charges after one moves out but in the 800s? We have lived in 8 other apartments in the area and if they bill us usually the deposit will cover it or they charge us $88 to $200.Dont get me wrong the apartment was nice. The neighbors were amazing. Grounds were kept beautiful. Maintenance fixed issues asap. Im just so disappointed in this issue.
I went to the property to view a unit per appointment. The staff had my info incorrect. The property was well kept. The model and available unit was well maintained. I received the runaround when I requested the application refund that I was told that would be received. Also, I still havent received it well over 30days
The staff at Villas at Cypresswood were more than helpful. They were incredibly open and honest about the property. They were willing to show us the unit multiple times and were courteous throughout our visit. The property is beautifully maintained and the units themselves feel like their own homes.
Maria was the person that showed us around. She was amazing, cordial, and informative. She took a great deal of time with us and we never felt rushed. The apartments are beautiful, as well as the rest of the property. Hope to live there very soon.
I was very disappiont, in the Villas at Cypress wood. The documents are misleading, The villas documents say 12 months of good rental history. When the informations, input into the computer, it screens, pass 12months, so the owner can keep you $199. Deposite. The manager said, none of the residents, are late on thier rent. Next, none of the residents, have broken leases or eviction, The property is looking for, perfected, renter in an unperfect world. You cant sleep here, because, your rental have a negative. The staff dont have perfect, everything, but you must have it to rent apartments, thier better apartments, in the area. The red brick apartments, before the Villas at Cypress, are beautiful, and dont have old appliances like the Villas at Cypresswood
I turn my rent in 11/1/14 the due date of the rent, on Monday 11/3/14 I receive a phone call/voice mail from Latisia the property manager stating that while my rent check was in the drop box for 2 days that the building was power washed and the check was damaged. I agree to write another check and no apologies are made for the inconvenience. On 11/6/14 i receive a threatening voicemail stating that rent was due on 11/3/14 and I was going to be charged for everyday that the rent was late. I call back to the office asking to speak to her about the message, I explain to Maria that it was not my fault the check in their possession was destroyed. Maria then tried to tell me i should have not turned my check in to the drop box in the rain, when I did no such thing and had a voicemail from her boss stating so. She then put me on hold and i spoke with their accountant Suzie Garcia, who tried to trap me into saying that I would not pay rent she was even trying to tell me the form of payment I should use and how It should be turned in. Suzie was trying to make their mistake out to be mine and that i should be penalized for their irresponsibility with payments.DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!!
The manager sucks! She promises to call back to settle matters but doesnt return calls or take calls even when she is there. Cant understand how such a feeble woman can be in charge. When you move out, make sure you demand a walk through. They will trick you into not having a walk through and charge you for everything from not cleaning toilet to windows. Never mind it was cleaned and maintained in better shape than when you walked in. Pay few hundred dollars more and check out San Sierra. They are run by professionals and extremely responsive. At Villas at Cypresswood they make it as difficult as possible to get things done, i.e., having to email or write in a work order request. We never had such a horrible experience before. Dont walk, run from this place!
We were planning on moving to Highpoint at Cypresswood this weekend, but the attitude of their management, recently read bad reviews, has completely put us off. So, today we went looking for a new place with immediate move-in ready alternatives to avoid a costly mistake. Villas has been on my radar for years and always thought it was a great complex. The two-story condo type layout is simple, family oriented, quiet, nice landscape, and far preferable to the trend of all these new 4 story over priced modern trends. Villas wont have all the bells and whistles of these new complexes, but we can already tell it feels like home. Management gave a friendly tour, made us smile, was patient and answered all our questions without the hesitation and blank stares that Highpoint was giving. Wed like to thank Villas for a great experience and welcoming us into the community. Only giving 4 stars because we havent moved in yet. ;)
My husband and I paid the deposit and application fee and was waiting to hear back from them. We missed their call, so when we called back, they had already closed for the day. We called the next day to find out we were denied for something that came up on my husbands background check. Neither of us have a criminal record and our credit scores passed. We were told there was a check from 9 years ago and one as recently as 2016, which he was aware of, came up on my husbands background check. My husband explained to them, he was a victim of identity theft, all the cases were dismissed and there were no criminal charges against him. We called the courts and they didnt even show record of the older cases, but the manager wanted us to jump through hoops to prove this, when clearly they saw NO felonies on our record! I seem to feel this was slightly racially biased, being that were black. We have just gotten preapproved for a mortgage loan for $650k, yet an apartment complex, see no criminal record, but deny us on what would have been a misdemeanor almost 10 years ago! We only needed to stay for a year until the build job is completed! We got denied, because I guess were big time felons, with a household income of $186k a year! #livingwhileblack #bewareofVillasatCypresswood
I was currently looking for a house to rent when I came across these apartments. It was everything I wanted and more! The floor plan fits all my needs and wants. Sarah was very welcoming and helpful with making sure I got what I was looking for. Im excited to be signing a lease there
Sarah was fantastic and very friendly throughout the entire process of the tour. She manage to sell me on the property by offering some great incentives that I was impressed with and needed to make the final decision for my new place.I would make referrals to this location for great service.
I live here and love it! Its quiet, conveniently located (Whole Foods and Vintage Park minutes away, easy access to 249), the office and maintenance staff are super friendly and work orders get done promptly. The pool and grounds are very well maintained. No complaints whatsoever.
I looked at these apartments more than a year ago and said when my lease was up at my current place, I was going to make Villas of Cypresswood my new home. Valarie has assisted me in the process and has been very helpful. Cant wait to move in.
Be careful!!! They will do everything to get your deposit and more when you move out, they’ve put many things that we’ve cleaned as not cleaned and when I sent an email highlighting the things that were done they didn’t reply back untilI we received a letter from a collection agency months later. When I called them they said we’ve nothing to do for you it’s at the collection agency and you have to pay!!!
They are attempting to throw everyone on the first floor out (147 homes) over a long weekend after a catastrophe like hurricane Harvey. . The residents have nowhere to go and not enough time to make arrangements to move their belongings. . When I started to ask on villas Facebook page as to how this complex was going to be returning everyones deposit and also how they were going to be accommodating people so that people can pay to get their stuff moved out in such a short amount of time my comments constantly kept getting deleted when other residents did the same thing villas decided to shut their Facebook page down.. lastly we havent been in living in our home for almost a week and we have spent a ton of time cleaning the past 2 days. . Where do they expect all of us to move to? ??? And who will pay for all this? ?.. the manager sent out an email saying she was applying for FEMA to help the entire complex and eveyone affected. . Where is that money going now? .. dont trust these people and dont move in here they will attempt to throw you on the street when hard times come and they will do it without warning
Villas at Cypresswood is a wonderful oasis. We took a tour of several communities and were impressed with Villas as Cypresswoods attention to detail and the respect we were given. Sarah was awesome, attentive and she took the time that others didnt. Thank you for making this our new home.
Very nice staff in front office building and property was very neat clean. The apartment she showed me was to my liking and what I was look for to move in. Took time to go over all the amenities with me and explain to me why the people live her for so long .I enjoyed my tour of the property cant wait to move asap.
I took a tour and fell in love with the nice quiet community. They have every thing that I was looking for and the location is great. My leasing agent ms Valarie was very friendly and respectful and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed thank you
My experience with the Villas at Cypresswood Apartments has been very professional. Sarah is very helpful and through when explaining all of your options. I am looking forward to moving in later this summer.
Luxury is an opinion ....... Upon move In A/C and dishwasher were were. Dishwasher was squealing, it had been flooded from Harvey, two work request they just sprayed wd40, told to operate and would get better, kept my neighbors up when I did operate, 3rd work order the unit was replaced..... Entrance gate broke 75% of the time, ditto for trash compactor.... Takes 3 work requests to get a repair completed..... office staff are not helpful and are good for nothing..... Charge you if packages are left in office too long.. office hours are 9 to 6, who can get there during the week..... Office staff makes up rules so they can charge you, then enforced randomly.... Lawn maintenance blows the trash and grass cuttings into your garage and on your porch.... Upon move out, they will charge you for items that were bad when you moved in.. make sure you list it even though they tell you not too.... Used paint as specified from Sherwin Williams, then Had to prove I used the correct paint color because it didnt match what was on the walls, office staff had no idea what the paint color is, told me eggshell when all they use is semi..... charged for dirty cabinets and blinds when two people had cleaned them upon move out.... Events are a joke..... Kitchen window broken for the last 6 months, could never get it fixed, was told management would not order parts.... Glue continuously bleeds through from the floor and gets throughout the apartment, still your responsibility upon move outShould I go on? Think not!I will tell you one thing I thought was luxury..... There wasnt anything!
I have just went through The worst catastrophe of my life! Once I was allowed back Home I felt such a feeling of relief. Only to 2 days later receive a notice that I have five days to vacate the premises. Theyre terminating the lease of almost 200 units and only given them us now 4 days to relocate after a National Disaster! Everything is filled! A LOT of properties are damaged! Theyre not telling us anything about rent compensation, relocation assistance, nothing! Women, children, elderly, families; how can this be legal?
Nice apartments but absolutely RIDICULOUS prices for EVERYTHING... pet deposit is INSANE, to pay online they charge $24 for EVERY transaction such as rent, trash, pest control, water, (YES they make you pay for water and pest control!!!) Staff is the rudest staff Ive ever encountered! The complex is half empty... I see why!!!
DONT MOVE IN HERE!!!We are lawyering up. Our stay was great until the end.... SHOCKER..We got charged 564 for paint. Major wall damage LOL don’t mount anything on your walls... don’t hang up your tv or pictures. Simple enough.... DONT LIVE HERE!!!
Sarah was awesome in the office very helpful and polite. They have an easy online application process too. I will refer others. Oh most important the apt are large and very nice.
I absolutely love this place. I went for a visit the staff was very helpful, offered many different floor-plans, with amenities surrounding communities dont offer. The community is quiet, open, with well kept grounds. A great community to consider when moving.
This place is horrible now with the new management..... They took away amenities a few months ago from the residents.... Before we would be able to get soda and water from the leasing office now they still use the complex funds to get these items and keep in the fridge but they have banned residents from these amenities.... Maintenance is also bad.... trying to get something fixed is like pulling teeth.....
The management company is the worse by far. They are unresponsive and have horrible customer service
Sarah was very helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met and I got what I was looking for.
Nice place to live, I have rented for almost 3 years and I feel comfortable and safe to live here with my family. The staff cares about the place, always trying to improve it and make it looks better I recommend it.
We fell in love with the place during the first visit and tour. Ready to sign then. We have visited two more times and are now ready to move-in. It is pretty amazing has everything we need as we look t semi-retirement.
Wow! After reading these reviews I have changed my mind about moving here. I was super excited and the tour was amazing. Now .. not so much. On to the next, as 1,000 customers cant be wrong. smh
Sarah was great. The Complex is lovely, units spacious and well laid out. In looking around this is definitely the most bang for your buck. Cant wait to be a resident
I choose to move here because of the complex is very well kept, the apartment is beautiful but the best part was the office staff. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable.
This place is horrible, the management and office stuff are unprofessional and rude. They will rip you off with your deposit money. They will charge u for a new carpet and the paiting of the entire apartment and billed you for it. I will not recommend this place to anyone on earth. DO NOT RENT FROM VILLAS AT CYPRESSWOOD! Staff very rude specially SUSIE in the front office.
Look no further! I lived here for 3 years and this truly is a great place to live! Very friendly staff, safe, gated community and a place you can truly feel at home!
Sarah Reyes was awesome!!
I toured the Villas at Cypresswood a week or so ago and no other complex has compared. The staff was very friendly and the whole community seemed clean and well kept.
I love the floor plan and the hardwood floors! I also love the fact that the property looks more like a neighborhood and not an apartment complex!!
These apartments are nice and at a good location. Maria at the front office is friendly and helpful with addressing my concerns.
DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! THE MAINTENANCE GUY DON IS A NUT CASE AND SO IS THE MANAGER. THESE TWO WORK TOGETHER TO STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT. SUSIE LIKE TO GET IN PEOPLES FACE VERY RUDE ONE DAY SOMEONES GOING TO KNOCK HER LIGHTS OUT. THE MOLD IS OUT CONTROL IN THESE UNITS. BEWARE!!!
Property is well maintained, spacious units. Valerie is awesome answered all my questions. Very professional.
With all these reviews going on, no thank you. This many people are not wrong. Not trying to roll dice to see if Ill be in the lucky 1% Ill take my chances elsewhere thanks for the reviews ✌🏼
This place is incredible. Attached garages, free wifi, car wash station, good space, wood floors, friendly staff and best of all, ITS SO QUIET!
Wonderful experience! Very quiet and calm area! I’m so excited to move in tomorrow! 🥰
Nice apartments! Clean, spacious, option for attached garage and free cable!
Maria was very helpful and answered all my questions. Property is quiet and well-kept would definitely recommend.
I have had a great service with these guys they are very polite, courteous and answers all questions. I like the response that I get, cant wait to be a resident here.😀😀😀
The leasing consultant Valerie made the process smooth and easy.
SIX ROWS OF SPEED-BUMPS AT THE ENTRANCE! Management is punishing tenants living here.
Good location, apartaments in excellent condition and very good attention in the club house. Thanks, Sarah.
I love these townhouse apartments and plus Sara was amazing on my tour
Very clean. Good customer service. Management listen customers. Any issue fixed quick.
About to move in, so far everything is going well, quiet place, very helpful and nice staff.
Excellent customer service, clean facility, and quiet family community. I would recommend this location.
The community is very nice love the apartments.
Nice place for living. Internet and cable included with your rent.
Front office is rude and need more training on working with people skills
Horrible staff and apartments! Do not lease here
Had my car window smashed while living at this property.
Too expensive and lack of communication
Clean, Quiet, Friendly
Outrageous fees!!!

It was a beautiful experience living in Villas, it is a clean, spacious place, the apartments are very well maintained and they really care about the maintenance of the property. Vallerys attention deserves 5 stars, super friendly, his attention highlights his treatment of the residents. I 100% recommend this place to live.
