I worked with Sheila experience was not good at all... Communication is almost none existent. I was asked about 4 different times what area I wanted to move to, my budget and credit score even though I had already answered those questions multiple times. I understand my credit score wasnt the best but I was only given ONE property by her which wasnt even the area I asked for. I have been able to locate apartments on my own by just calling around. Wouldnt recommend..

I am so SUPER excited about my new place! I would like to start by saying I NEVER DO THIS!!! I never have an experience at a place of business that i deem so worthy, or unworthy for that matter,, that I feel an urge to spend more of my time telling others that i will likely never even see or talk to, my opinion of a person, place, or thing., until now! My family and I contacted Sheila because an acquaintance of ours said she was tireless when it comed to finding anyone a place. Yeah, yeah i thought, we will see. My family amd I are picky.... and not on the same page at all when ot comes to where we want to live. Because of that, along with with a few very unique circumstances, it usually takes us close to half a year to find a place. Additionally, one or more of us are WITHOUT FAIL unhappy with what we find for some reasons or another. Sheila had her work cut out for her dealing with us as clients. We told her we needed a different amount of bedrooms, a different minimal amount of bathrooms, different neighborhoods, different price ranges, and thats not even taking into account the many different special circumstances that we present with. She listened to each of us and as we told her what we wanted, she replied with okay okay. I assumed that she felt defeated before we even began. Boy was I wrong! She found the amount of bedrooms that we all needed including more than one bathroom which we definitely needed, within our price range, accepting of our circumstances, in a neighborhood we all love, and for a price that cannot be beat! In all of my years, and there are almost 50 of them, I have never been more pleased with any service like this. Shes just a people person that really cares about her clients. Im not just saying that because we got along, Im saying it because of the results. If you use this company to find your next home, be sure to ask for Sheela Patil! She is MY locator, for life!

I have written many reviews, but this is the very first time I would give a 6 Star Review were it possible. I called Sheila at Apartment Living Locators Houston on a Monday because my best friends lease ended on the next day Tuesday but he had not found a place to live yet and he was freaking out. He unfortunately didnt have a good credit score and had two evictions on there as well, so he could not find anything. I reached out to Sheila, she was first and foremost, nonjudgmental, completely accepting, understanding, and supportive. I have honestly never had that level of customer care in my life. Anyways, she got him an apartment in a nice area near the Galleria at a very reasonable price. It was almost like magic AND he was able to move in the very next morning! AND Sheila actually showed up at the apartments to walk through the whole process for him to make sure it was as stream less as possible. AND even offered to help coordinate setting up his electric and internet/cable, so he could have almost immediate connectivity. What is amazing about this experience is that there was no need to go so far above and beyond just finding him a place to live; yet she did all of these extra steps and time and effort to truly try to help someone. I had Jaclyn Mendlovitz and I thought she was good in the beginning, but she’s greedy and not a very good apartment locator for someone who’s a student with not so good credit. I just moved to Houston last year, I had to get away from an abusive roommate, and needed assistance to help find an apartment in a safe environment. Jaclyn is a bitter, older lady that doesn’t care about anyone but herself. I do not recommend her.

This company has justified outstanding reviews. This company goes above and beyond! We were weary if wed get what we wanted, but what we got exceeded our expectations of we expected. Jackie was so knowledgeable about Houston apartments and the apartment industry in general, If you need an apartment locator look no further.

My brief experience with this company was absolutely atrocious. Although the issue at hand was not entirely their fault, the way it was explained to me and the way I was dismissed was inexcusable. I started my search for a sub 1k a month apartment and only put my information in about 2 properties I was interested in. When I received the call I asked what property she was calling me about and she did not have that answer. She basically told me that a lead came in and that she could help me locate and apartment. I told her I dont need help looking I just would like to see one of the two apartments I was looking at in the medical center. When I asked how she got my information she became very defensive. I asked how are you going to call me about a property and not have information or the ability to show me the property. I proceeded to read the identifying information off the ad and she could not locate the apartment even with the information and verbal descriptions of the buildings (white with orange lines) but kept on mentioning a certain apartment I should look at. I told her Im not interested in getting overloaded with options, I simply just like the 2 that I saw on FB. She hung up on me ... I called back because I honestly thought we got disconnected. Its apparent that we were not disconnected because she proceeded to belittle my budget and boasted about how my 980 dollars is not worth it because they place 4-6k dollar rentals everyday. She also made fun of the right to privacy and information to know how my information was obtained. She talked over me and hung up again. I was very confused as to how they got my information but had no info on the property to even answer any questions I had. She is not a nice person and does not respect anyones privacy I would not use them or recommend anyone to use them if this is how they treat people. If you have a 5-6k dollar budget they might treat you ok...

Would not recommend. WENDY MCNATT claims to be a top agent, but beware she is very uncouth. Arrogantly claiming to be a top agent leaves little room for the client to articulate. I couldnt help remember the words of one of my old Professors The Best things in life are NOT FREE, you truly get what you pay for. I give this agent an infinite number of negative stars.
