I absolutely love living at Drewery Place. I took a leap of faith on this apartment having moved from out of state and my unit itself and the entire complex exceeded my expectations! Nicole in leasing has been my go to girl since my move in and to this day goes above and beyond to make sure I’m comfortable/content, and Jakori is awesome and will drop everything to assist anyone! Maintenance responds promptly to requests and Concierge is 5 stars, special shout out Diego for being on a first name basis with every resident in the building and taking extra time to make living here a wonderful experience. My unit has some of the best views of Downtown Htx and the pool is arguably one of the nicest you’ll find in Midtown. Location is very close to a lot of food, bars and night life and building itself is very secure. Leasing hosts amazing monthly events and it’s truly a community here. Not to mention we didn’t lose power during the 2 major storms when all my friends near me did! Can’t recommend Drewery Place or this team enough!

Drewery Place impressed me with its fantastic amenities and well-kept appearance. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the concierge with a firm handshake, setting a professional tone for my visit. Despite a few noticeable flaws in the hallways, such as occasional odors and stray debris, the overall experience was elevated by the breathtaking view from the apartment and the enticing amenities available.Additionally, my tour guide was exceptionally personable and provided insightful information throughout the visit, adding to the positive impression of Drewery Place.I hesitate to give this place a five-star rating as I’m uncertain about the experience of actually living here. Nonetheless, Drewery Place certainly stands out as a desirable option.

I had the best experience touring the property with Nicole. Her attention to detail and patience answering the many questions I had made for a thorough and pleasant experience. I was uncertain about the area and had some reservations around which floor plans I liked most, and Nicole was able to give me different perspectives, pros and cons then followed up with a recap conversation before completing my application to be sure I was selecting the best option for myself. Her attentiveness and wealth of knowledge made the Drewery top of my list in my search for new residence.

I love living here. Staff and service are great, amenities are great, location is amazing. I loved working with Nicole she was phenomenal and showed me an apartment that wasn’t even on my list, which I loved and ended up leasing. She even kept the price from increasing as my move in date was a bit far. Also Diego is one of the best concierge I have ever seen in my life. Efficient, kind, always happy, knows everything!!! I lived at Drewery Place for three years and initially enjoyed the amenities and community atmosphere. However, when the management changed, the quality of the facilities and services declined significantly. Despite paying a portion of my rent as an amenity fee, I noticed a decrease in both the quality and quantity of amenities provided.The new property manager, Annique Hogan aka Megamind, unfortunately did not handle these issues well. Instead of addressing residents concerns and working to improve the community, she exhibited petty and vindictive behavior. In one particularly troubling instance, she attempted to have a fellow resident, who was clearly protected by Texas law as a tenant, labeled as a trespasser. This was not only unjust but also deeply distressing for the resident involved.Annique Hogans actions were unprofessional and harmful to the community. Her approach to management has caused unnecessary stress and hardship for residents. I hope she seeks guidance and support to improve her management style and better serve her community in the future. Nicole is the only person polite positive and professional.

Drewery Place is probably expecting this review because they know theyre at fault for not honoring my lease or sending proper documentation if they were moving me to another unit so I could sign an approval and new lease. They did none of that.I was initially thrilled to move into Drewery Place because it’s such a beautiful property (although the surrounding areas aren’t aesthetically pleasing or safe.) I was especially excited about having a rare corner unit with a balcony (A2.3 Floorplan). I wasn’t interested in any other floor plan, which is why I had the help of an apartment locator to find units with these features all over Houston.However, despite signing a lease for this specific unit in April, the current tenants were allowed to stay in the unit a week before my move-in date due to a miscommunication. According to Annique, the property manager, there wasn’t a lease breach because my start date was June 12th, and “the current resident in unit 602 retracted their notice, and renewed their lease. There is an executed contract, therefore unit 602 is no longer available, and no longer an option for a move in.” When I asked where in my contract it states that the lease isn’t valid until move-in, her response was, “On the first page of your contract, it states that the lease term begin date is June 12, 2024.”I’ve added some screenshots below for context because this is so crazy to me. Who lets a current resident retract their 60-day notice despite a lease already being signed by a new resident?Just know this: at Drewery Place (Caydon Property Group), your lease can be changed before your move-in date because that’s when it’s officially “valid.” Never heard of that before? Me neither.If you apply here for a floor plan that has a lot of availability, it’s a simple fix and I wouldn’t be writing this review. However, they don’t have another unit exactly like the one in my lease to accommodate me, which is why there’s so much disappointment. This whole situation caused significant inconvenience and showed a lack of professionalism and protocol. Although they apologized, I expected much better and for them to allow me to move into the unit signed on my lease instead of an alternative.They did allow me to get a refund for everything and cancel my lease due to this inconvenience, and Ill be contacting them to do so.On the bright side, I’m glad I dodged a bullet—if this can happened before I even moved in, who knows what other headaches would’ve followed?Proceed with caution.

My partner and I toured this facility as we were looking for an apartment together. I will say the units itself are super spacey and modern. I loved the balcony because of how big it was on each unit. This complex had the biggest balcony out of all the ones we tour. Amenities seemed nice. However, my partner and I decided not to continue here because we did not feel like it was home for us. Second, during our tour a resident came up to the leasing agent saying he has not had hot water since July (4 months) from when he moved in. He also said his oven was not working. I cant imagine paying for rent and having no hot water for months. Im sure this is not the case for everyone but we werent willing to take the risk. The resident was also very calm about the situation and he even stated he submits multiple work orders but nothing got done. Overall, I thought I would leave an honest review for those interested in living here.

I’ve been living at The Drewery Place for about 8 months now. My experience here has been pretty neutral. I love my apt, the view, amenities, and the convenience to darn near everything in the city.I had a short time frame to secure an apartment. I visited about 7 different complexes, but the amazing customer service I received from my leasing agent, Bella truly sealed the deal! She’s awesome, PERIOD! She’s patient, professional, and was always available to address my concerns. To date, she is my go to person if have an issue with the property.Moving halfway across the country wasn’t easy but she made the entire process seamless.

I want to share my genuine thoughts on Drewery Place. I lived there for 15 months, and I absolutely loved every aspect of the property. The staff was incredibly helpful throughout my time there. A special thanks to Ms. Annique, the property manager, who assisted me on numerous occasions. Jaz, Nicole, and Jacori made everything so simple and were always there to help. The events they organized for residents were a blast, and I got to meet a lot of great people. Anytime I had a work order submitted the maintenance team fixed any problem the same day. Overall, my experience at Drewery Place was a perfect 10 out of 10.

I want to share my experience with this property while I was touring to help others considering applying. Here are a few important points to keep in mind:1. Credit Inquiry: Be aware that a HARD INQUIRY will be made on your credit report when you apply. This information wasn’t disclosed to me upfront, so I recommend exploring other properties as well. This is very rare properties dont usually pull a hard inquiry-- unless your opening a new credit line.2. Communication Issues: I was very interested in this property, but the communication has been lacking. I did not receive any updates on my application status, and when I requested to withdraw my application, I received no response. My attempts to reach the leasing department via phone went unanswered.3. Security Deposit Concerns: The requirement to pay a security deposit upfront was unexpected. Most properties typically collect this at move-in. Ive reached out for clarification but haven’t received any response. If I don’t hear back by the end of the week, I will be filing a dispute to recover my deposit.4. Neighborhood Safety: I found the area to be concerning and not as desirable as I had hoped.5. Safety/Security: I also came across a Yelp review mentioning that this property has been featured in the news not for a good reason. I wish I had seen that before touring this apartment. If safety/security is a concern for you, I recommend looking elsewhere. This is not a place I would consider living in. Do your research and youll see what I mean.6. If you’re considering this property, I recommend maintaining a thorough paper trail and exercising caution in your decision-making process. Be wary of the amenities; there are better options available. Properties like Pearl Rosemont, Allure Hermann, and The Forth Navigation etc offer superior experiences. I concur with other reviews regarding flooding issues that are apparent even during tours.

Ive lived at Drewery Place for approximately 7 months and have regretted this decision daily. To start, conveniently, there was zero disclosure regarding a night club that opened directly across the street the same month I moved in.- this nightclub is open most nights until 230AM. Sundays, as an added treat, it opens at 11am-noon and closes anywhere between 8-12pm. Ive sent numerous emails to management, attempted multiple in person discussions and in return was told I could re-apply and enter a new lease or join together with other residents to file a noise complaint with the non emergent police. Im confused as to why anyone would ever be under the impression I would willingly extend my time here.- my patio door spontaneously shattered May 22. Below is a current day pic of the patio that I am unable to use. Management was supposed to return a phone call May 23rd regarding repair updates...- the garbage disposal has been broken since Ive moved in. Someone came in with a stick to try and fix it.- there are weekly plumbing/loss of water issues. I sometimes have warm water long enough to take a 5min shower. The only way that I have any water pressure to shower is if the handle is placed at a 45 degree angle. A plumbing company was supposed to review these issues last week...- elevators and the garage door are frequently in disrepair.- there have been multiple occasions in the last few months in which the air conditioner hasnt worked- newest issue is the toilet has zero water (this was also supposed to be assessed last week in addition to shower plumbing issues). I came home today to an apartment that smells like sewer/death.- 50/50 on whether or not youll receive any of your packages. The locker system frequently malfunctions for days, packages are lost.. Best part is that in order to reactivate your account you have to pay additional fees. I spent over an hour in the lobby two nights ago attempting to track down lost packages.Overall, Im most embarrassed that Ive allowed myself to continue to pay luxury high rise living costs for an apartment that is not functional as I am unable to sleep or shower. There are plenty of other apartment complexes in Houston. For example, the Hanover Montrose is incredible. I suggest reading the solid 1.5 star yelp reviews by those actually living in this complex and not only the posts here that are paid for.Id also appreciate to skip over the management response asking me contact the office at my earliest convenience. I have.. for six months. At this point, I feel like I have to warn anyone that may be considering moving into this complex, especially given the proximity to the medical center.

My experience at this apartment complex has been nothing short of disappointing. The combination of a prolonged renovation on the 7th floor, an enduring stench of dog urine, and an unfair demand for early termination fees has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied.Firstly, the renovation on the 7th floor dragged on for over a month, causing significant disruptions and inconveniences for all residents. The noise, dust, and restricted access made it nearly impossible to enjoy the peace and comfort of my own living space. The managements failure to complete the renovation in a timely manner was a clear indication of their lack of consideration for the residents well-being.Another thing goes on, the persistent stench of dog urine permeating the complex was unacceptable. It created an unpleasant and unsanitary living environment that greatly affected the overall quality of life. Despite multiple complaints, the management failed to take appropriate action to address and eliminate the odor, leaving residents to endure the noxious smell day after day.Furthermore, the demand for early termination fees upon my decision to move out is both unreasonable and unfair. Given the subpar living conditions caused by the renovation and the unaddressed odor issue, it is unjust for the management to expect residents to continue to fulfill their lease agreements without providing a habitable environment. The imposition of additional financial burden through early termination fees only further highlights their lack of empathy and consideration for their tenants.In conclusion, I strongly advise against considering this apartment complex as a viable living option. The combination of a prolonged renovation, a persistent odor problem, and the unfair demand for early termination fees has created an unsatisfactory living experience. Prospective tenants deserve better treatment and living conditions, and it is clear that this complex falls short min meeting those expectations. Look elsewhere for a more respectful and tenant-oriented housing solution.

The Drewery Place is extremely unique. The building itself has great interior design, but it is apparent that the building was rushed as it was being constructed. The exterior part of the building seems very rushed due to the poorly layout of some apartments and it’s views. The new management that was recently appointed is not the best. I love the leasing agents they do everything they can to accommodate their residents. The property manager (Jorge ) has very bad communication skills. He’s very aggressive when he talks to residents. I have had a AC issues for months that I have reported. I’m very laid back and understanding but I don’t understand why I have complained about my shower drain being installed improperly not understanding how that passed inspection. Also my ac has been leaking in my bathroom & kitchen my kitchen ac has grown mold on it now since nobody has resolved the situation. Honestly this is a low end high rise that’s new. I would honestly not move here. The elevators never work it’s always something with this building. Save your money and live somewhere else it’s not worth it!Update They painted right over the mold LOL

I had a recent issue with work done by contractors and communicated this to management and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed how the leasing office handled the situation. As a business, somethings are out of their control when they hire 3rd party entities for contracts but whats important is how issues are handled because issues will always arise in day to day life. They were prompt, efficient, Profesional, and very understanding in their response and for this reason I give 5 stars and respect 🙏.P.s. I gravitated here for the views. They have the best views in houston. Hands down, i viewed multiple highrises prior to moving here. I dont have anything negative to say about them to be honest. Concierge is awesome, they have monthly social events if ur a social person. Im not a dog person but u can tell they try their best to keep the common areas clean from dog owners who think its ok to have their dog pee in elevator and common area. Somethings again are out of their control but u can tell they are on top of these issues.

Ive lived here for nearly a year, and I adore the staff who make a living here quite enjoyable. They always go above and beyond, from hosting events to keeping the facility up-to-date and clean for us throughout the year. My living experience has been equally the same. I was concerned about moving closer to the city and the noise, but I havent had any issues. Overall, this space is pretty diverse, and there are so many interesting things to do in the community!

Drewery place is one of the best apartment living experience in Htx hands down. From the concierge greeting you everyday a the door with his welcoming high spirits. To our leasing ladies Marley and Mrs. Nicole always greets me by name very sweet, helpful, welcoming with engaging conversations. Bella was my tour lady very sweet. I never thought Id be signing my third lease, but thats exactly what I did yesterday. I was definitely going to move before the new management group took over. There were several issues with the building that previous management could not correct, such as no hot water and the elevators not working properly. Management also goes out of there way to hold great events for the residents. The entire staff including the leasing staff, concierge, and valet, are all super nice and very helpful. You wont regret leasing here!

When I first moved here/transferred to the property the mgmt team was great. However, a new contract/different property mgmt company and crew were put in place within 3 months of move in and it quickly declined.There wS always trash in the garage, random bags that people left and no one would pick up for weeks at a time. The office crew had the worst attitude, almost as if you were disturbing them every time you voiced an issue or maintenance concern. The clubhouse would randomly have people in there using it as a salon. Yes you read that right, hair dryers, the whole works. They randomly shut down elevators every week (I lived on the 20th floor). Also once the new mgmt team came in we could no longer use the freight elevator. . Perhaps this was due to the flood.Speaking of the flood, for weeks there was banging and drilling going on with no announcement as to what hours this would happen nor the duration/ expected completion date. When I asked the manager about her only response was she made an announcement at a town hall that was optional to attend and that I should have came. Also conceirge is a joke. They let any and everyone up and are of no help, no really sure why there in place. I ended up paying to end my lease as the property was nothing near luxury nor anything like it was when I initially arrived. Take my word and stay far from these people!Oh and because I know they will never mention it. In the summer there’s a club that throws celeb pool parties Friday-Sunday, so know and understand you will hear the music inside your home for 3-4 months . . I dreaded those days. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Bella is the BEST! I cant even begin to express my appreciation for the courteous and professional service I received during my visit to Drewery Place. I called earlier today and was pleasantly surprised to be able to schedule a same-day appointment to tour one of the apartments. Bella was incredibly friendly and patiently answered all of my questions.During the tour, I had the opportunity to see several units, and I must say that I was truly impressed. The floor-to-ceiling windows with city skyline views immediately caught my attention, and the rate is quite reasonable. Additionally, I was very impressed with the amenities and security features offered at Drewery Place.While I havent made a final decision yet, Drewery Place is definitely a top contender in my search for a new apartment in Houston.

I showed up to my tour for Drewery on the wrong day and met with Nicole in the office who was so accommodating. She was able to adjust my time and show me some units based on what I was looking for. Nicole has been by my side through this entire process from my visit through my move in process and now me settling in to my new apartment. I am completed wowed by the entire staff here even the lead concierge was so helpful with advice and guidance on where I can safely park my moving truck. Thank you to the entire team, especially Nicole. It’s been an Amazing experience and a beautiful, clean and well kept building.

My experience at the Drewery Place has been very pleasant. I’ve been here a little over a year and there has been a positive shift since the new management has taken over. I was considering vacating but Annique has been nothing short of amazing! She is knowledgeable and always readily available willing to offer assistance when needed. Drewery Place resident for +17 months.Pros•Residents have access to FitFam fitness classes led by trainer Asher. The HIIT-style classes were suitable for all levels. Asher was good about changing things up too, whether that was running hills or stairs outside of the 8th floor gym. FitFam was an awesome way to get the feel of community by attending classes with other residents who were regulars. A bonus is having access to two Peloton bikes with a complimentary subscription to Peloton.•Apartment interior. Floor plan of A2.4 was perfect for two and a dog. I loved the flooring and the natural light from the glass windows/balcony door. The balcony was AWESOME. The space was perfect for hosting guests and my view was awesome.•Travis, Drewery Place’s Lead Concierge. Travis is outgoing, friendly, attentive, and personable. He makes residents feel valued by acknowledging them when coming and going, remembering names, and simply being hospitable. Travis exemplifies service and hospitality.Cons•Trust. My experiences with expected and unexpected issues that arose throughout my term led me to lose trust in the staff’s ability to resolve concerns with little or no effort on my part. Statements and communications provided by the staff conflicted with other staff members. Jorge Spencer, the property manager, left a 5-star review in August 2020 that was later taken down. It was also revealed, in an effort by the manager to enforce a lease addendum, that my lease had been altered via handwriting after it was signed and executed by all parties, and I was never provided a copy.•Value. Drewery Place lacked cleanliness consistently in common areas such as the pet park, dog wash, parking garage, elevators, and hallways. Drewery Place also lacked a staff who looked happy and owned problems. The pool deck unfortunately does not get enough sun and the grill area was consistently dirty and dusty due to corrective construction. Elevators were consistently out of service due to disrepair. Water and electricity would be turned off with little or no warning on multiple occasions.•Security. According to an open records request, 160 calls for service ranging from burglary to assault involving a weapon were reported by the Houston Police Department at the property from late July 2019 to Late November 2020. With a heavy police and security effort after the murder and robbery of a resident while in his apartment on November 4, 2020, an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon was reported by the victim in their 25th floor apartment just two days later on November 6, 2020. According to the report, suspects robbed the victim of an estimated amount up to $29,999 in jewelry. The common areas smell of marijuana consistently, and I’ve personally witnessed a resident in the 27th floor sky lounge and their guest package marijuana into baggies presumably for distribution. I felt the property made no attempts to deter crime until after the events in November. Tailgating victims into the garage and through doorways remain an issue, resulting in multiple car burglaries and a couple of stolen vehicles.Unfortunately, the pros do not outweigh the cons resulting in a significant service gap. It took a large amount of time and effort by me to seek resolutions that were fair. My original apartment suffered water damage. As a remedy, I was compensated for the damages and allowed to move to the same floor plan on a different floor after advocating for myself. Unfortunately, it took over a month to receive the compensation offered and promised by the manager after several attempts by myself to follow up on the payment. The property did timely pay for the movers as expected. The bottom line is, if you do not have the time to follow up and inspect what you expect, this may not be the place for you.

Anique, whom I first met in the elevator expressing frustration with past management, convinced me to stay with her assurance of positive changes, and she delivered. I have lived here for right at 10 months now and my experience has been awful. We have gone without hot water SEVERAL times for extended periods of time. We were told the issue was resolved but the continue to regularly shut it off. During your tour they will show you the dog park from the pool because it smells disgusting and it never clean and the gates are broken majority of the time. I had maintenance enter my apart without any notice people would be coming by which is unacceptable. When I emailed the front desk I did not receive a response. The elevators FREQUENTLY stop working and it takes forever to get in and out of the building and you can only take the stares if you go to the first floor. Also peoples apartments have flooded several times and there’s a lot of renovations happening all the time due to this which is extremely inconvenient. I pay for a 1 bedroom here and it WAY over priced considering all of these things and how cheap everything was built. There are much nicer and cheaper places to live in Houston

This is the place to be in Houston! I’ve been a resident for a little over a year and the turnaround I’ve seen at the property in the last month has been remarkable. I chose Drewery Place because of its location and safety. Well, in the last 6 months there was a noticeable shift in safety (in my opinion). I believe new management took over the same month I signed my lease so I have not had the same experience as residence who have lived here under previous management.Iv had nothing but a great experience during my time living at Drewery Place. An issue with my lease from the previous management was quickly resolved by Taylor. The concierge is extremely helpful in getting my concerns or questions to the leasing staff when I cant reach them directly as they are with other potential residents. They deserve an award for their patience!Maintenance thus far has been on top of it as well. Whenever you move into a new place I feel like you have the new house blues and there are always one to two issues you need resolved. Cedric and Annique (property manager) has been on top of ensuring my issues were resolved and escalated to the maintenance supervisor of the building when necessary.The cleaning crews that take care of the common areas and amenity space are very much visible and constantly at work. Things are well kept and improvements are being made to renew those things that have experienced the wear and tear from the years. As someone who prioritizes safety I am pleased with how closely things are monitored to ensure not only a safe environment, but one that is enjoyable for residents. Before I moved in the old reviews made me very concerned but please that my experience has been different. The staff has quickly address issues with those who arent as considerate as they should be of their neighbors.At this time I would highly recommend! Should anything change I will update!

Its a bit hard to get a reservation to tour the apartments, but its worth it. The amenities are excellent, the views are great, and the property is very well kept, clean, and secure. Theres a great selection of apartment layouts. All of the units have upgraded finishes. The value is greater than that of some other luxury high rises in the area. Beyond all that, the leasing staff (Ruth in particular) were extremely courteous and helpful and they were my deciding factor in leasing there.

By far the worst renting experience! I give it 1 star because I love the apartment layout but that is about it. So many issues since I moved here in September 2021. My apartment was not move in ready and they were literally fixing things after I moved in 6 months later! It has been a joke. I would suggest not to waste your money here. This is supposed to be a luxury apartment yet they cannot keep up with health codes. The pool is currently closed by Houston health inspector, there is always water and plumbing issues. For the amount of rent, its truly unacceptable. The transition of new management has been horrible. I can say former management had better attitudes and understood how to speak to paying customers. Everything that glitters isnt gold, so you will be paying $2000-$3000 for glitter if you move here. Nice view but its not worth the headache. Maribel & Bella are nice.

4/19/23: I was finally put in touch with the “Leasing Manager” after weeks of asking and they are unresponsive as well. It’s interesting how they respond after I write a review so they should be calling me after this edit. I now see why an apt locator who stays here didn’t even recommend this place.Update: As expected, they replied to my Google Review. I called the number as instructed and still couldnt get through to anyone. Funds are still be wrongfully withheld. If you are considering moving here, save yourself the trouble and look into Hanover! The little I got accomplished with Drewery Place over 2 months has been exceeded in a week with them! No scams and actual responsiveness. This horribly situation turned out to clearly work in my favor.The leasing experience has been horrible. Many of my questions and concerns were ignored. I was being hounded for income verification documents multiple times only for them to not accept my main source of income as a tactic to get me to pay an additional security deposit. After sending the funds, the complex stated that I can not move in. When I asked the complex to return the funds, they state that they can not locate it and has chosen to ignore me via email and phone as they reply to Google reviews while holding almost $5,000.

In a time when customer service amongst millennials has lost its meaning, this is easily one of the best experiences we’ve had when touring an apartment. Mirabella was amazing. She was very thorough in listening to us and discovering our needs. She took time to show us all of the models we requested and was very patient. The whole staff was all smiles and laughs. Lived here for 1 year and this building is just a disaster. Very poor management. The apartments are looking great but they are nothing other than constant failure. My apartment start leaking water twice in one year, the washer was out of service for a month, the AC would fail every other week and requires them to reset the whole system and the best part is the elevator. This building has 3 regular elevators and 1 freight, it was not even one day in the year that all of them work properly. They are always under maintenance. Also as far as a safety goes this place is a joke. We had 2 Cases where they break in into residents cars because the parking gate is always broken. They broke the driver side glass on my car and the management was not responsible for anything. If you really looking for a luxury high rise experience there are way better places and they are way cheaper than this disaster. I will not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The parking garage gate always has issues. The cleanliness of the complex is horrendous. Lets not forget about the elevators that constantly never working. Or if you like random people in and out of the apartment next to you this is the perfect place for you as they have multiple airbnb’s. Even their staff hates it here. I’m very upset and frustrated. This is my first bad review I’ve ever done in life. I set up an appointment with Drewery place online back in March for a move-in of May 31. Despite the reviews I decided to give them a chance. Went on Tour &viewed apartment.Drewery had a 2b with study and I had been looking all over for the high rise feel with study because I work from home. The apt that I wanted couldn’t be held that long so I would’ve had to move in on May 13. Meaning I would have to pay rent kinda twice but I was okay with it so I decided to apply.First red flag I should’ve noticed was they make you pay a deposit before even knowing if you would be approved or not. Never heard of that before but I submitted my application, completed payment and submitted my documents threw 3rd party site. Everything went successful on my end. I get a call from Adam i believe was his name stating everything looks good I just have to pay extra deposit due to credit needed to be 650 but I was at 630. I’m like okay cool no problem. Next day I get a call from a woman I don’t remember her name but I missed the call so she left a voicemail asking can I email documents because something is not coming up correct so I sent documents over to them threw email”which I still have proof of” this went on for about 2weeks of me steady sending them my documents. Weeks is passing by so called to speak with Adam who I originally was speaking with to see what’s going because I don’t like to be last minute with anything and I had already given my previous housing my 60day notice. He states to me he don’t know what’s going on he thought everything was fine and then he gives me the number to the 3rd party verification company to contact them. I decided to look elsewhere for housing. Adam stated I would get my deposit back in 30days they will call me. It’s been wayyyyyy over 30days and I still haven’t received a call. I called once and some one placed me on hold for about 30mins until the phone hung up while she check the safe to see if it made it. Called back NO ANSWER. It seems like now every time I call I could never get anyone on the line not even concierge. I am very frustrated and would like my deposit back. I gave it to you with no problems you should give it back with no problems. I need someone to reach out to me ASAP. I shouldn’t have to do all of this to get a response.

Adam had promised me that I can return later for the look and lease special now that I had toured the complex in person, but when I returned Taylor told me that Adam is gone and that his promises weren’t true. I am honestly disappointed. I had planned to pay double rent for this month accounting for Drewery’s special while I still pay my old rent. They have multiple vacancies so I am not sure why would they not keep their end of the deal and offer what they are advertising, especially that I am ready to start paying rent for a vacant unit that is not currently offering any income for them. It’s unfortunate that they would lose on multiple of us over this.

Starter pack for luxury high rise living. Having lived there for several years, I’ve seen it decline. The elevators and garage door break down often. The hot water is interrupted often, people leave trash everywhere, the paint is cheap and scuffs easily, the floors are made with cheap wood. Worst place I have ever lived. It’s marketed as a luxury high-rise, but management & maintenance is less than Motel 6 quality.Don’t move here. Seriously.Pros: Amazing downtown view and great apartment layout. Most of the neighbors are lovely too.Cons:1. Unprofessional and horrible customer service. Once I moved out, I continued to be charged for packages going to the apartment I no longer lived in. I called, emailed, and sent messages via social media numerous times with no response whatsoever over a 3 month period. I knew the Instagram messages were being read, because they would promptly get deleted from the post, but still no response. After several months, of calling and a nice temp agent taking a least a dozen messages, I called and refused to hang up until I spoke to someone. I was on hold for 20 min, then “disconnected”, then had to call back 7x until I finally got the manager, Danielle or Maribel, on the phone. She was rude and told me it wasn’t their problem and to contact another company. I asked why it took her 3 MONTHS to give me such a simple response. She hung up on me.2. Constant noise from the streets, cars racing, nightclub, GUNSHOTS, and subsequent ambulances, police and fire department sirens. Every time I heard a loud “POP” sound, I’d wait for the sirens to come 5-10 min later. Happened nearly every weekend.3. Lack of safety. See gunshots in #2. There was also gun violence within the building, a robbery, and multiple car break-ins while I lived there.4. Poorly constructed. The shelves in the closet were unfinished. I put in a maintenance request. The shelves were half-painted but not sealed. A secondary request had to be made. The shower floor was not properly laid out in order to drain so there was always a puddle of water.5. Poor maintenance- The pool was always disgusting to the point that it was shutdown by the City of Houston until it was properly cleaned. Dog pee in the elevators every 1 in 4 times. Gross!

Dont be blinded by looks. This is a beautiful building with WAY too many issues to count.- Management is completely incompetent. Useless. Period. They do not communicate with you or eachother. Getting them to answer the phone or getting any sort of call back is impossible.- Elevators were down almost weekly.- Was not the safest. There were multiple break-ins and random non-residents tailgating us into the garage all the time. They hired random people to work on the property, one who followed me around for days and eventually asked for my number. Not fun.- The mechanical room next to our apartment flooded (which in turn flooded our apartment) and it took 24+ hours to have them even look at it. They never fully fixed the damage.- A package that was held for me (I dropped it off) was returned to me OPEN.- They use some sort of cheap white paint inside the cabinets and drawers that flakes and peels everywhere and sticks to all of your things.- Showers dont drain properly.- If you live on the side that faces the park, there are very very loud concerts and events that happen weekly.- They leased out our apartment without telling us.I could go on and on. But, simply put, avoid at all costs.

Process was a total waste of time and money. The location might be beautiful but for 2300/month (900 sq ft) in Houston, their customer service is sub-par. Any of the Hanovers and even Avenue Grove offered much better service for the same market at a better price.It is the second week of April, and they are late again on our refund.

EDIT: Weve bumped down to 1 star. Its been months of me trying to get my security deposit back. They said I put down the wrong mailing address when its the address Ive had for 20+ years so Im pretty sure I know what Im talking about. Then all of the email addresses changed. I couldnt get a hold of anyone and ended up having to resort to Instagram to get an email that I still havent heard back from. Listen to the reviews of the people that have actually lived here, not the people they get promotions for leaving reviews after tours or apartment locators that get referral fees when people sign the lease.-----Originally when I moved in, I loved the apartment. The high rise felt safe and the amenities are beautiful, but I couldnt wait to leave by the time my lease was up.Firstly, before you sign a lease, check your shower. My shower never drained properly because the floor of the shower was too flat and I was constantly scraping water down the drain to avoid molding and to prevent slipping. I told the apartment the day after I moved in and they said they would add me to a list to get it fixed but nothing ever happened.I know that they couldnt control the pandemic and work from home situation, but there was constant construction, sometimes starting as early as 5 AM for months. The timeline kept getting pushed back farther and farther and the building wasnt communicative about it until pestered by residents for weeks. Water would randomly be shut off with no timely email - like hours after the water wasnt working they would send something about it.We were still paying the extra amenity fee also during the pandemic even though none of the amenities were open. The valets were nice but sometimes wouldnt park my car when there was no street parking and I just needed to grab something really quickly from my apartment. Also having only one lane going in meant if someone needed their car valeted, there could be a line waiting to enter the parking garage. Also the security guards could be really rude. The latch at the front door was always temperamental if you didnt open the door at exactly the right moment.Additionally, dont get an apartment facing downtown. The new high rise condos and hotel the parent company is building are going to go right in front of that and its going to block your view. Not sure why that was the plan.That being said, the leasing staff were always friendly, as were the front desk staff. Travis was great. The location was a nice proximity from grocery stores and bars and my work. Being able to attend free fitness classes was a great perk as well.

DONT MOVE HERE!! For 5 months our unit was being flooded by apartments on the 15th floor, our toilets (other apartments sewage) and sinks (other apartments dishwater) were flooding into our apartment sometimes 5 times a day where it would spill on the floor. And compromising our health. Monique and the entire Maintenance and Leasing staffs dropped the ball on doing anything. I made calls, sent emails, went in person and tried to get help but only Devon responded after month 5. No one refunded me rent that I was forced to pay, I couldn’t get out of the lease due to management; and till date they haven’t even refunded my sewage fees, for having other apartments sewage flooding into the apartment. When Monique said she’d call Lincoln Apartments Regional Manager for TX, they offered $250 back on rent😂 A joke!!! My last months rent was waived but they forced me to pay sewage fees ??There’s been a murder here, multiple male guests who live on the 20-27th floors who have assaulted young women who live at Drewery Place and the leasing staff never removed the residents from the building. My cars been broken into, multiple windows broken, and have lived on 2 different floors and have still experienced cleanliness issues in the hallways. My neighbors with a small child experienced flooding, inadequate clean up by the apartment and subsequent mold respiratory issues.The dog park overflows with dog poop very often and the dog cleaning / washing room is never cleaned. The garages are never cleaned as well and Lincoln apartments does not care. This place is a joke for the 3-10k price tag

If you are considering moving into the Midtown area Drewery Place is the perfect home for you. They have beautiful floor plans with views of the Greater Houston area. Drewery Place is conveniently located near all major freeways making it easy to avoid rush hour trafficThe office staff made the decision to move here very easy. Jose Lopez listened to my expectations and led me to the perfect Apartment. Jose also communicated thoroughly guided me through each step of the process. He also knew the residence by name and everyone seemed to be very pleasant. This community deserves 5 stars.

After living here for over 2yrs, I can say this is the perfect place to live in if you like to over pay and only have cold water. If you expect to have hot running water, this is not the place for you. And if you expect to be ignored by the staff to your maintenance concerns, then this is the perfect place for you. Not to mention all the other safety violations this building forces on its tenants.Simply put, move to Drewery Place if you want to overpay for substandard living arrangements, but the amenities are nice I guess.

So I have lived here for a year and am renewing my lease. I love it here. The environment, vibes, pool, and views are amazing. Jorge and Monica are wonderful and try to do everything in their power to resolve issues. The building itself if a new construction so there are small things that have had to be repaired but the living experience has been 2nd to none

If you’re thinking of moving to this apartment, honestly do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. Don’t get blinded by looks. They give out violations for anything without having proof. They are more interested in causing problems with residents rather than fix the pre-existing problems that seem to be found everywhere.If safety is a big concern this is definitely not the place for you. You hear shootings almost every night and there is always glass shattered on the concrete.They market this place as “luxury” but in reality it’s far from that.The elevators are always down and dirty. The resident garage doesn’t open on the first try,you have to keep reversing your car multiple times and driving up to the sensor before it decides to open.

Stay as far away from this building as possible. So many HUGE problems here.MURDER by shooting has occured in building, ameneties have issues, pool has been shut down by Houston Health Department, Car Break-ins in the parking, Plumbing and water issues is always going on and probably worst management ever seen in an apartment building . My apartment has needed floor panel changes twice becauese of water overflow, photos below and always some kind if hot water or water pressure issues going on throughout building. Dont be fooled by the nice looking exterior.

When completing the application a $550 deposit was required along with $100 application fees. If the application was denied for any reason, we were to get the $550 deposit refunded to us. Unfortunately (or maybe not) we were denied. One month and 5 days later we STILL have not received our refund. Weve called numerous times and 9/10 times nobody answers the phones. The one time the phone was answered, they told me the finance manager has to issue the refund but she was not in that day and she would contact us. Needless to say, we never received a callback. Tried calling the next day and guess what.... no answer. Im feeling pretty robbed at this point and am now looking into other ways of exposing these people or get my money back!

In two months we have encounter Rudeness from the Concierre, the security who supposedly should be monitoring the garage and now we have to replace our slashed tires.. (who supposedly should be monitoring the garage) i would not recommend this place. This place is not secure or safe for the amount of money/deposit The Drewery Place advertises. Lived at the property from Dec 2019 - January 2021. the apartment isnt completely awful but I cant truthfully recommend anyone living here for the prices charged vs the services and amenities provided. Detailed review below.TLDR: Dont do it. Looks beautiful, but not worth the headache. Management is incompetent at best and predatory at worst.Pros:- Travis the daytime concierge is literally the best thing about this property. He is considerate, timely, and quite honestly the biggest reason I didnt break my lease early to get out. He cares about the residents and treats the property and the residents with the utmost respect.- The views are hard to argue and the apartments are easy to entertain in with great sized balconies and modern interiors.- Location: Easy access to multiple freeways, Texas Medical Center, and downtown.Cons:- Sketchy Finances: A few things here which were concerning during my tenure. Upon signing the lease, they offered a promo that they paid you back a month of rent after a couple months occupancy. They never reached out to let you know when it was appropriate so after several months I began asking when/how to do this. It resulted in a several week process of them saying theyd sent me the link to redeem but never actually doing it and multiple trips had to be made until they finally sent me the links for redemption. I know multiple other tenants at this time had the same issue of them trying to dodge the redemption and forcing people to wait for months. The bigger example is under management below.- Management: To give you the best example of overall shady practices, my lease ended with the property in mid-January 2021. After leaving they had overcharged me more than $4000 (didnt prorate my January rent and charged me for February when I no longer lived there). Should have been no big deal, an email to clarify, get the refund and no hard feelings. Unfortunately I am here 6 months later with email chains dating back to January and they still havent given me a refund for the inappropriate charges. After >3 months of VM, email and finally having to get legal counsel on what to do they gave me a partial check in late May... which bounced and resulted in my bank charging me for it. Management is essentially impossible to get ahold of and regularly try to avoid/dodge questions if they know you are going to ask for help or try to get updates on issues. Other examples include general lack of follow-up to emails, unanswered calls (anytime you call theyre conveniently out to lunch or on break with promises from other staff to contact you back and no follow-up), no return on voicemail messages, and just generally a perceived lack of caring about the residents.- Safety issues: As other reviews note there was a murder and armed robbery in the complex within the same week in November 2020. People tailgate cars into the complex and theres not a lot you can do about it. Multiple car break-ins while in the property, though that is likely common in Midtown apartments. I think enough is said by the fact there were often 1-3 HPD officers in the lobby which makes you realize there are more safety concerns here than one would expect from luxury living- Maintenance issues: The complex has 3 elevators for 27 storiesbuilding and it was the norm for 1-2 of them to be down at any given time, resulting in waiting 15+ minutes. Water leaks were common resulting in repairs required to multiple floors and the gym, multiple maintenance requests for my apt during the tenure which often took several days (the maintenance guys were always great though)- Amenities: 24-hr valet never really existed, daytime valet was spotty. The gym is small but manageable. Unfortunately it was common for weights to be missing and although they have 2 Pelotons, they only purchased a license for one so if anyone was on one bike the other was essentially useless. The pool/deck look gorgeous but due to building construction it only actually gets a few hours of sun a day.

Cant say Im too happy about this place. Management lacks experience, staff is always changing, concierge is not 24 hours and they do not even bring your goods to your door (amazon, groceries, uber eats) as other truly luxury high-rise have done throughout the pandemic. Ive had problems from zero hot water to boiling hot without anyway to regulate it, shower does not drain properly so I always have to clean it out, strange and weird noises from the AC unit, construction starting at 5am on weekends and on Saturdays (literally had to go downstairs to talk to the construction crew to please start after at least 8am), there is a real lack of control with regards to regulating visits and helping with the C-19 (they indicated 2 guests per residents but permit a full pool party, other high rises have had true control of guests and residents around amenities without having to shut them down, Im not against to having guests and parties but not at this time when permitting access to more than the established restrictions can put us more at risk). Management does not even try to make you feel wanted as they never even returned communications to try me to renew lease and offer better alternatives. Also surrounding areas are crowded with homeless and drug users, specially Drew st.For the positive: LOCATION and AWESOME amenities. They also have ASHER, your own personal trainer at the facility. Skydeck, pool and lounges are amazing as they have a privileged views.I entered the lease with excitement as the proposal of a truly luxurious experienced never materialized. Maybe in a couple of years it can truly be the luxury high-rise they advertise to be but not now. Certainly not at those prices and with current management.

Drewery place has conducted terrible business for the past week. It has been a horror story. The apartments are super nice which is why I wanted to live here, but for the lack of communication they have presented throughout the application process it is not worth the hassle. It has took them over a week to process my application which is unheard of for any apartment complex. My application was still declined. I am a traveling healthcare professional and just relocated to the Houston area for a permanent position. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in my life. I spoke to multiple leasing agents regarding needing somewhere to live ASAP. They mentioned they could get it done quick with proof of employment, asked for 3 months bank statements etc which I believe they probably felt my income was faulty because I was not initially asked this at first. After a week of “processing” they still decided to decline my application. I have yet to get a response as to why my application was declined. I would not recommend living here.

Before I list the reasons why I love this place; a building is only as good as the people who work there and Travis the concierge really making living here a truly pleasant experience! He goes above and beyond to ensure that you feel welcomed and greeted like family whenever you are in the building. He always ensures that the building’s safety is at his highest priority (another reason I love the building) and is always cautious to any non-residents who may enter the building. He goes out of his way for you if you ever need him, whether it be for packages, apartment services, maintenance, or just a friendly person to talk to. He has such a good aura that can make your day better by just interacting with him.After looking for a place to live in Houston for almost two months, Drewery Place was without a doubt the best choice for an apartment complex! Being a newly constructed building and having by far the BEST views of downtown and the medical center, Drewery Place exceeds the expectations of an apartment complex.Drewery place was number 1 on my list because of it’s apartment features and amenities. Apart from the units being beautifully designed with waterfall countertops, beautiful cabinetry, modern appliances and bathrooms, they also come with your own alexa device which is programmed to control ALL of the lights and thermostat in the apartment. They will also help you set it up to control your tv or other alexa enabled devices. The units are also great at keeping out excess noise. The apartment is really quiet and you won’t hear your neighbors.There are so many spaces for the residents to enjoy throughout the building. The 8th floor has a conference room and little study cubicles for residents that prefer to work in a different environment. There is also the gym with everything from peloton bikes, digital fitness mirrors, weights and also free scheduled fitness and yoga classes for all residents. You can also find a full sized kitchen to host events with guests, pool, chessboards, libraries and furniture to lounge while watching tv. Lastly, the ROOFTOP! Definitely one of the best parts of the building. It offers the best unobstructed views of downtown Houston! There is a swim up bar in the pool, outdoor grills, cabanas with tv’s, outdoor bean bags and a firepit. The 27th floor is the next space residents can use for fun. It has a nice modern lounge inside that can be used for hosting events and a great outdoor space with a firepit and views of the medical center.The building’s ability to house other businesses on the ground level makes everything accessible to the residents. There is a great juice bar that sells acai bowls, snacks and juices. Kanau sushi is also a very nice restaurant where you can have a drink, light snack or an omakase! Black swan yoga is also located in the building as well.Other reasons to choose this place as your home are its proximity to downtown, midtown park, the metro etc, great security, valet and lots of social events hosted by the building for residents.Trust me, this place is the best!

This complex is located in the middle of clubs, bars and a park that hosts concerts and it is not equipped with adequate sound proofing. Every Thursday-Sunday from 10:20pm - 2:02am I hear loud music and bass from a club a couple of streets away. There is also a lot of street noise ranging from cars racing, playing loud music and people parking along the street laughing and yelling at all hours of the night. The security we have does not do anything to stop people from making noise all along the street! There is a also club opening up on the same street from my unit so I know the noise that keeps me up at night is about to become elevated and create more problems!The park hosts concerts and other events and the music is way too loud and sounds like the speakers are directly in your living room and it’s not something that can easily be tuned out! The events start as early as 9am and can last until 10-11pm. They also do events during the week that are also way too loud like Zumba, and the midtown district refuses to hear complaints or make them cut their music down.My move in was unorganized and awful, I was given a time to move in and when I arrived I was locked out. I didn’t have access to my unit and was not given instructions on what to do or expect. The cleaning people let me in and the person that handled my lease did not answer any emails nor did the manager. My unit was dirty, I was given the wrong mailbox key 3 times and it wasn’t until I was trying to leave the garage that I discovered I needed a sticker to get in and out. Shortly after I moved in my a/c was broken for about three weeks (broke twice), and I am still waiting on the concession I was to be given for that inconvenience (they also messed up a wall trying to fix it).As far as the unit itself, the walls are not thin but not completely sound proof because I still can hear my neighbors upstairs walk and hear noise from the one I share a wall with. I have had issues with my stove and the hot water does not work when you would like it to. The hot water runs on demand so if there is no one else taking a shower when you are it’s just not going to get hot. There have been some other issues in the community but I wasn’t directly affected so I won’t speak on that. People don’t walk their dogs on leashes when walking around inside the building and there is not any parking for guests. With the club opening the parking is only going to get worse.There are so many other things that I can say but this review is long enough! I live in Houston with no family and my experience here hasn’t been that great like I thought it would be. The few things about this place that I do enjoy are that I’ve made a few friends and Travis, he is the best, Sam and Dewan! They are pleasant and have actually tried to address my concerns and issues! When my a/c broke Dewan drove here at 11:30pm to try to fix it! Travis always catches my door when I arrive and keeps me up to date on my deliveries and just puts a smile on my face! Sam always has a smile on his face and a good story!

While the aesthetics of the buildings design and choice of finishes are beautiful, the actual product is poorly put together. As evidenced by the numerous complaints regarding constant construction, downed elevators, busted water pipes damaging units, etc. I was the first tenant in my unit and many items are already falling apart due to poor installation and overall product quality (doors, cabinets, appliances, etc.). For a high-end apartment complex less than 2 years old, the amount of maintenance required clearly shows the building was hastily built as cheap as possible. Drewery Place wants to give the allure of luxury living with high-end quality, but in reality is a sub-par complex, giving a poor mark of execution on its supposedly “renowned” developer, Caydon.Drewery Place, the definition of Instagrams #expectationvsreality

1 day after my lease start date, 2 days before I was arriving (I am flying from out of state), and after a lease was signed. I was told I had to resign a new lease at a higher price point. I proceeded to cancel all services and my amazon packages that are currently in transit. Lost over $1000 due to this headache. No refunds offered either...I would like my security deposit back, and refuse my packages on delivery so I can get a refund for my amazon expenses.Writing this since, I dont get responses back via email.

Horrible maintenance, very dirty apartment complex. Repairs are never completed even after filing multiple maintenance requests. You definitely DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Live somewhere else. Management doesnt want any part of making it better or resolving issues.My advice, dont pay attention to the 5 star reviews from people that dont live there. Pay attention to the 1 star reviews from people that do or have lived there.

Stayed with a friend for a few days. The view of Downtown Houston is spectacular as well as breath taking. Has washer/dryer unit in all apartments. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and stores. Conceige service and more. Come see for yourself.

We tried to get an apartment for my son who is is starting law school at university Houston in August. We filled out a lot of info and offeredTo pay the lease I full. We can’t fill our 2021 taxes until September 2022. My accountant called, I can send a letter. They told us that we were declined because we cannot offer them them enough information, I was ready to pay a year in advance . My kid had no complaints at The Luxx at UTSA. He is 21 and a Gonzalez, what does this say about ‘tis complex?

Management knows that we have been having cold water issues for weeks and still nothing done about it, especially when it’s winter time this shouldn’t be an issue!!! Elevators constantly not clean, valet people are rude and dog park is never cleaned !
