I had a wonderful experience working with Nicole at North Post Oak Lofts! Nicole was extremely professional and knowledgeable of the property and made sure that the property was a good fit for me. She made my transition smooth and kept me well-informed throughout the process. Im recommending this place to others in the Heights area who are looking for an apartment. In addition, Sandra really made my transition to North Post Oak Lofts a great experience! Her professionalism and communication seem to have stood out, which is always a huge plus when moving.

Wow, where do I even start? North Post Oak Lofts is truly a one-of-a-kind living experience. If you’re looking for an apartment that keeps you on your toes with endless shocks and surprises, then look no further!First, let’s talk about the stunning amenities. The pool, when it briefly graced us with its presence for about half the summer, was a true oasis—assuming you enjoy admiring it from a distance while its mysteriously under maintenance or quite literally green. Nothing says luxury like enjoying the Texas heat from the comfort of your dry lounge chair. If thats not your jam, you can always head back to your apartment and hope that this is one of the days where water is actually flowing because the pump breaks so often! The landscaping? Simply breathtaking. And by that, I mean it will literally take your breath away like they have taken away the greenery and vegetation. It is not entirely their fault however, as the 2021 winter storm took its toll on my people and sometimes it really does take 4+ years to recover. It’s like living in a nature documentary if that documentary was filmed in a post-apocalyptic wasteland —who needs to go to the movies when you have a Dune experience right outside your door? The leasing office staff is the real gem of this place. Need help with an issue? Good luck! They have perfected the art of appearing busy while achieving absolutely nothing. It’s almost impressive how effortlessly they can dismiss concerns, dodge emails, and master the “not my problem” attitude with Olympic-level skill. Im not sure what makes me want to go back to 2019 more - going back to the previous ownership and management company or being blissfully unaware of what COVID-19 is.And last, but certainly not least, the gym. If you’ve ever wanted to take up weightlifting but prefer lifting broken dumbbells or running on a treadmill that turns off mid-sprint, this is the place for you! The equipment is so consistently broken, I’m convinced it’s actually a feature, not a flaw. But fear not! The front office is so adept at gaslighting you to convince you that its not, you may actually start to believe it!Whats truly astounding, however, is the leasing offices ability to shamelessly raise rent prices every year despite not a single thing improving and, in most cases, getting actively worse! All in all, North Post Oak Lofts is the ideal place for anyone who enjoys the thrill of paying premium prices for subpar living conditions.

Nicole is, without a doubt, the best assistant manager I have ever worked with at any apartment complex. From the moment I first interacted with her, I could tell that she genuinely cares about her residents. Whenever I’ve encountered any issues or had concerns, she always handles them quickly and efficiently, ensuring everything is resolved in no time. Not only is she highly professional, but she is also incredibly kind, patient, and approachable. Its rare to find someone who goes above and beyond like she does. I would recommend anyone to reach out to Nicole if they need assistance, she truly makes the experience so much easier and more pleasant!

We moved directly from Norway with two little kids to this apartment. Instead of going to the hotel from the airport, Olivia and Will from the property management office helped us to come to the apartment directly, which helped us a lot as we had many luggages which we did not want to go to a hotel and take another two taxis to move. We appreciate the support very much.We loved living here. The pool area, playground, gym, and other amenities are fantastic, with regular maintenance. Maintenance requests were assigned in a timely manner. Though we had not been assigned parking, we still had not faced any problems with finding a parking space. While living there, we had to move suddenly, and this caused us to break the lease. This meant we had to pay a lot of money for the lease-breaking, which made us worried as we could not afford it. The manager and Olivia reviewed our case and kindly waived the penalty fees, which were beyond expectations. I had never found such an amazing management service.

Since the day we moved to this complex Yesenia had helped us out since day one. Our lease was ending and we couldn’t leave this amazing complex. Location is convenient and well maintained. Therefore we upgrade for a bigger unit. Yesenia had helped us through the whole process. She made it super easy for us. I highly recommend Yesenia if anyone is looking to move or need assistance.I also want to give thanks to Melissa. If there’s something going on she gets right to it. This property was very nice when I moved in a little over a year ago but unfortunately it has declined substantially. For some reason management chose to stop watering the grass and it is now completely dead. It smells like HOT pee every time I take my dog out to go to the restroom. There are sprinklers on the premises but they no longer turn them on.Residents do not use the valet trash cans provided and just set their trash bags in front of the door. Stray cats tear open the trash bags and the contents inside leak out and stain the concrete breezeways. I have requested someone come to power wash but my request has gone unanswered.Management also chooses to only light every other outdoor lamp and the areas behind the buildings are very dark at night. My lease renewal was provided within 2 weeks of my move out date when I had been requesting it for 2 months. Interestingly my monthly rent and amenity fees had increased significantly. I am left to believe that management held off on providing my lease until the complex raised prices on every unit. With that being said I do want to highlight the amazing maintenance staff. They have always been very accommodating, friendly and timely. Overnight security is very friendly and patrols often. When you can get ahold of the office staff, they too are very friendly. I believe the office is probably understaffed.I don’t believe I will renewing my lease next year. I think it would be a better idea to move and pay a little more to have a 2 bedroom & an updated/functional gym on site.

Becoming a new tenant of this complex has been a rewarding experience. None of my requests were ignored (and there were many 😆), the entire team worked hard to make me feel truly at home. Special mention goes to Melissa (the manager) for her extraordinary professionalism, vast knowledge and kindness at all times (model of driving and teamwork) and Sandra (the agent who assisted me) friendly, professional, accommodating and witty (I already consider her family ♥️) who made the entire process an easy and extremely trustworthy moment. Thank you to everyone in general and to these two in particular. I highly recommend this place. Thank you once again.

I’ve live on the property for two years and with in the last year this complex have let theirselves go and become trash. There were always pee on the elevator, dog poop was never pick up by residents. Then the inconvenience for residents that live on the higher floors elevator was always down. Now they are overcharging for normal wear and tear in the apartment because dust collected and have hard water stains in the toilet. I never in my experience living in apartments have I ever been responsible for changing the A/C filter or the refrigerator filter (falls under maintenance duties). I take responsibility for the actual things I did not do but I will not be charged for simply dusting a fan, rewiping countertops. How is my move out charge higher than the rent I paid. Also make sure you document everything because they would try and lie about not being informed about information. Move out date was 10/31/23 I let them know 08/01/2023 more than 60 days. This is only the beginning I will be letting everyone know how North Post Oak management operates.

Trash that smells terrible and leaks liquid on the hallways is present every week and besides the complaints and a supposed fine, the situation hasn’t changed for months. Also, dog waste on the hallways and common areas is common and there seems to be no consequences to this. This place has become unsanitary, to say the least and very unpleasant to live in. I am embarrassed to bring anyone to my place anymore. There has been dog urine in the elevator, a person sleeping over night in the pool area. I have expressed all my concerns to management for months and things have only gotten worse.I do not recommend this property, especially at this price range.Update: video showing the situation on a typical Monday 6/5/23 at 11:45 am. It smells like a dumpster all across the hallway.I suppose they’ll send some more emails and not take any action.Update 9/8/23 - pool photos. It’s starting to feel like management has partially abandoned this property, I’m saddened by the current condition of the complex.

I stayed here for almost 3 years and I am moving out next month. Apartments are spacious but maintenance is abysmal. Staff never answered my phone calls during my 3 years stay. I always had to go to leasing office to get anything done. Worst thing is they never follow timings. Please dont say that the office is open on Sunday if you dont open it. This is my third time visiting office today (Sunday). My main reason for moving out is staff who are never available. Its frustrating when you pay extra for maintenance and management and never get answers when needed. Melissa is your only bet if you want to get anything done here. Elevators are always down and you can smell weed almost everywhere. People dont clean after their pets and most of them dont even bother to put leash on their pets. Used to be nice community years ago but not now

Over the weekend I had the WORST experience with your assistant property manager. I do want to note Melissa was very helpful AFTER having to deal with the person in the office over the weekend. I needed help and was waiting for the front office to open at 10am on Saturday. I called several times for 15 minutes with no answer. I go downstairs and pulled on the doors and the doors were locked. I go back upstairs to wait a little longer (4th floor) - I should note the elevator on my end of the property has been out of service for most of the month. After a while I go back downstairs and I see someone leaving with their purse and keys from the office and locking it behind them. So I go BACK to the doors and pull on them only to find that they were still locked. By this time it is about 10:20am. As I am walking back I see a person going back to the doors to unlock them. So I start to walk down the hallway back to the doors. I pull on the doors and they are locked again. So I go to the front doors, locked, go BACK to the back doors still locked. You are supposed to be open by 10am. ? It is now 10:20 ... so I go ahead and knock on the doors in the back because I knew someone was in there and you SHOULD be open for service. Your assistant property manager sees and hears me knocking at the back door, but walks, SLOWLY, to the front doors to open those doors. Then she walks to the back ...start to switch on thel ights THEN she opens the back door for me. She opens the doors with a look of just complete disdain. I ask her if she is okay? Because I know she is supposed to be open at 10am? She said Yea I was late because of traffic and shes rolling her eyes at me.(So why lock the door behind you if you were late. Why didnt you turn the lights on as you were walking in. As she opened the door, she didnt say Oh, Im sorry, or anything. She just had this unhappy sour look on her face. I told her look I pay a lot of rent here and I do not come down here looking for help only to be treated with attitude. I proceeded to ask her for assistance. She was very unhelpful nor did she care about my situation at all. When I asked her for additional help she told me no - Only to find out from Melissa that there was no reason she couldnt have helped me, her boss. There was no reason for this person to be as rude as she was to a resident. I told her if she didnt like her job, she needed to get another one.ADDITIONALLY, do not hire people that do not have the personality needed to service residents at the front desk. I can not stress this more. She IS NOT the type of person that should working with people. She needs to be in an office where she does not interact with the public. This was really the last straw for me. I have lived at North Post Oak for over three years. You all have been through many property managers and the grounds have not been cared for at all. The water lines are coming up and are visible everywhere around the property. There is only mud on and no grass. The only flowers that are visible are on the OUTSIDE but on the inside there is no upkeep at all. There are trees that havent been replaced. Also the sign on the outside isnt even working right either its blinking at night. The gate is out of service a lot. The elevator is out of service and doesnt even have the proper certificates showing inside. The concrete on every floor is dirty and filthy. The stair concrete is also stained. Its like there is no more pride at this property. Also the amenities we pay extra for? The gym walls are scratched and the equipment is broken. The shrubs and trees around the pool are dying. The movie theater is never open nor do offers go out to the residents to use these amenities at all.You can also smell weed being smoked around the property and police have been called out for domestic disputes more often than not. Its just gotten really bad and gone downhill. It no longer feels that I am living in a LUXURY apartment complex.

Exposed water lines all throughout the complex. The “dog park” is disgusting. There is dog feces and trash all throughout the parking lot. If you need to speak with someone from the office don’t bother calling, take the stairs (because the elevators are always out of service) down to the office and hopefully you’ll be helped. Beautiful complex, well thought out floor plans, and great management. Ive lived here for 2 years and they never gouged me on rent. Ive never had an unpleasant experience with staff or maintenance, and honestly Im pretty quiet and keep to myself. The only reason for not putting 5 stars is because my concern for safety has slightly increased since moving in. Ive heard gun shots and have seen theft of tires. Ive never struggled with parking, but my guests certainly do. The other reason for the 4 stars is because my balcony backs up to a warehouse that has incredibly noisy work hours, sometimes starting at 4-5 am. Whereas thats nothing that management can change, it should be taken into account with the value of the complex. Lastly, Ive had several days where I woke up and my apartment smelled like weed. I dont care what you do in the privacy of your own home and I have no concerns with neighbors smoking pot around me, but if it seeps into my closet and my clothing, thats a concern for me working in healthcare. The office was prompt to respond to my complaint and it seldom happened again after that. Overall, Ive had an overwhelmingly positive experience here and Im only moving out because I took employment out of Houston.

Shes always been very polite, willing to help, and she gets the job done. Parking is limited, but it seems to have gotten better over the last few months. They could be a little more organized when it comes to receiving packages, but if you just wait patiently for a few minutes they will find it. The amenities are great! The pool, gym, and theater are all very nice and maintained well. Those are the only ones I really use. I have read other reviews from people complaining about price, but I dont see how they justify that when the floor plans are larger. Yes, you can go down the street and pay the same amount of money, but you are going to sacrifice living space. I have been happy, for the most part, with my neighbors. I had an unusually loud neighbor upstairs, but he left a long time ago. Everyone that I have met that lives here is polite and considerate. North Post Oak Lofts is a wonderful place to live in Houston. A ten minute drive should get one to Downtown, the Galleria, Memorial City, Town and Country/City Center and more! This is dependant on traffic, of course. In addition, the management works hard to make the place a marvelous place to live. Maintenance is very effective at taking care of issues in your apartment in a quick and professional manner. Many residents cooperate with community rules and management is quick to clean up after the residents who think the rules dont apply to them. We are very satisfied with our unit and the community and hope to live here for a long time.

When you’re lease is up and you’re moving out they try to charge you with all types of charges and fees for things maintenance did. They steal belongings out your apartment and claim they stored them in the storage but never get back to you and when you visit the maintenance person with the keys “arent” there. The elevators are full of dog urine and stains from the urine. Then on top of all that they charge you $200 a month in a water bill added to your rent, that’s higher than a house water bill. Melissa, who is apparently the office manager, is always at lunch when someone does answer or out of the office. I am still waiting for to call me back from calls that started in April. Save yourself the stress and DO NOT MOVE HERE.

I have never live anywhere with worse management. I have lived here for 2 years, and I have experienced nothing but awful service and incompetent management. First, my vehicle registration was slightly overdue, so they tried to tow my vehicle, despite it being registered with the apartment for over a year and a half. Also, I locked myself out of my apartment once, and it was after hours. They did not let me in. They did not care how or when I got into my apartment. So instead I paid $150 for a locksmith to let me in, despite SEVERAL members of the office living on site. They were too lazy and did not care whether or not I got back into my apartment. If you want your mail on time, forget it. They don’t even know how to cash your rent checks for well over 2 weeks after you pay it. Do yourselves a favor and go down the street, there are apartments far nicer, and more competent that you could live in.

We have lived at the North Post Oak Lofts for 6 years and have always enjoyed the well tended resort-like setting. The new management has continued to keep the grounds looking lovely and the buildings clean. Recently the inside hallways have been power washed and there are plans to do the outside as well. We love our apartment as well as all the amenities the complex offers.

This is a safe, clean, and well kept community and the apartments are beautiful. The rent is comparable to other nicer complexes in the area. Parking is challenging but that is an issue you will encounter at any apartment complex. The only complaint is that they are limited to who you can talk to at the office. Alvaro is the only person I have ever been able to work with there. The other staff, Anthony and Olivia are SUPER RUDE. Always talk to Alvaro if you want to be treated nicely and actually get something done.

Resident of 3 years and each year has gotten progressively worse. I would NOT RECOMMEND this complex to anyone. For the high price, would expect better customer service and a much safer and cleaner living experience.Safety / Security: This complex has had several break-ins over my time. In fact, we even had a personal incident where someone was trying to get into our home and we had to call the cops. When we told the management, they didnt take it seriously at all. We also reported to the front desk that there were strange cars that would come into the complex and just drive around, but the management brushed it off -- even though there was reported incidents of theft inside like of a purse snatching. They claim that its a gated community, but literally anyone can get in here.Customer Service: The management company and front staff here are incredibly rude and obnoxious. We received absolutely poor customer service when dealing with them. Its hard enough trying to call the office and get someone, but then when you go into the office, they seem annoyed that you are asking for any help. The old management company was a bit better because of one representative, Ana, but this new group that they brought in this year are horrible to deal with. Recently weve had an issue with COVID-19 and were trying to discuss the matter with the property management and it took multiple emails just to get an initial response -- the very least they can do is communicate, but even that was a challenge. Good luck trying to contact their customer service department.Parking: The parking is a nightmare. Parking spots fill up quickly and there arent enough parking spots it seems so you waste time driving around. They also have a strict towing policy and have towed our car even when we had a tag on it. We complained to management, but they said it wasnt their problem. There is no visitor parking in the complex. Its off in a shady alleyway beside the complex with very limited spacing.Noise: Even with the security and promise of a quiet place, I have had to deal with a lot of noise and partying here. The pool closes at night, but you still see people gathering in the pool and jamming out music at all hours and I guess the security guard never bothers to say anything. In addition, Ive noticed a few apartments that just play loud music into all hours of the night as loud as possible. The management does nothing about it.Clean: Endless amounts of dog poop everywhere around the complex.

This is a very nice property and our apartment was well maintained and spacious, however management cancels out the good experience by their poor customer service. I have lived here for one year with a roommate and one year with my boyfriend and the customer service did not improve. Olivia is the only one that actually seems concerned with even attempting to accomadate your needs or answer questions you may have. I had a job situation that put me a little behind on rent and she worked with me to avoid falling too far behind and I was able to catch up, thanks to her. I was very transparent about the situation and she assisted me to make the best out of the circumstances. The rest of the staff is rude and will make you feel either very unwelcome to ask questions or make you feel stupid about asking them. For example, I had a very bad experience with moving out the first time with plenty of charges that I did not understand. Instead of getting our deposit back, we had a huge balance to pay at move out. It doesn’t make sense at all because we hired a PROFESSIONAL cleaner to leave the place in great condition. Since this happened this way for first move out, I requested to do the actual walk through with the manager to make sure I knew what they were charging me for. OF COURSE, they tried to urge us to just let them do it without us there even though there’s a huge sign in the office that says “Call to schedule a walk through with a manager” giving us the option to do so. They are annoyed that we keep asking questions about what the charges will be this time for move out, not realizing that these questions are extremely necessary with what happened last time. There were even times to where we came into the office and stood there waiting to be assisted and they saw us and completely ignored us to the point where we were forced to speak up about it. Another time I went in the office, I witnessed a temporary employee tell a lady there with an appointment to view the property to come back later, they are upstairs having a holiday party with a huge attitude (even though she had a SCHEDULED appointment). The lady and I walked back out of the office and asked me if management is always that rude... Yes they are. It’s honestly redicilous and sad because the property offers such nice units and amenities. As managers and leasing agents, you should have an open door policy or at least ACT like you care about what’s going on with your residents and we did not feel that way at all. Catty attitudes are mostly what we got here. Also, parking is awful and of course, they could care less that you can’t find a spot even when you have a resident sticker. They said to just park outside the gate in visitors (which is a dark alleyway with no lighting) if you can’t find a spot. That is super dangerous to do for a petite woman as myself, especially if you work late hours like I do. My car window was shattered in visitor parking and they still wouldn’t accommodate my request to resolve this issue. WOW. I will be speaking with corporate about my experiences.

Nice pool and place. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about management. You will find out how awful your experience of moving to this complex will be when you move out. Management make money out of tenants who move out by imposing outrageous penalties for minimal wear and tear of the apartment. In my case I was charge $300 because carpet was dirty due to normal stepping on it, something that will be fixed with simple shampoo. If I would it known I would it wash it myself before moving out. When I moved in, the apartment was really dirty, the wood floors were dirty, toilets, sink and bath tub were dirty. Window shade were dirty and had spider web, refrigerator was dirty. I didnt mind cleaning it and sanitizing it myself and that was my biggest mistake because now I am being docked for minor things when in reality I handed the apartment in better conditions than what I received.Maintenance is horrible, I reported clogged garbage disposal and it was not fixed. After my roommate moved out I decided to stay and move to a one bedroom apartment, but 2 weeks later I regret it badly when I found out of all the charges they were making up. At my new apartment I had twice reported a light that is out and as of today it has not been fixed, not even after the manager assured me it was going to be done that day.I went by to discuss the issue, and all I got was: we can have you talk to collections to make payment arrangements It is not true that they want to change people perceptions and offer solutions. They just want to get your money. Enjoy your nice bonus.

Living in this apartment complex has been an utter nightmare. The management has been so incredibly hard to communicate with. There have been a plethora of issues here from many break ins in the complex, loud noise, lack of parking, and also had someone in a pick up truck literally follow me multiple times while I was waking my dog. We even had a break in attempt and had to get the cops involved. I brought many of these issues up to the apartment and they ignored it completely. The front desk and management are extremely rude and will NOT take time to help you properly. There is no such thing as customer service here.During COVID-19 stay at home order, they closed their office doors the next day with no plan given to residents and became extremely hard to reach. I don’t remember seeing any notice about handling maintenance issues or other concerns. I would NOT recommend living in this place to anyone. Please save yourself from the troubles and horror of this place and live somewhere that’s safer and where the management cares for your well being.

Place looks nice and stayed here for over 3+ years but the parking situation is a circus.Try waking up to go to work only to find out your car has been towed. Sure you can park in the side street (guest parking) but that’s not even safe. There was a white Ram that was on bricks for 5 days, I told the “security guard” and his response was “anything outside of the gates is not my responsibility” (more break-ins happened after that) . The one time I came to visit my mother to help her my car gets towed from parking in her reserved parking spot literally 30 mins after getting here. They told us that a car wouldnt get towed unless the person that has the reserved parking spot makes a complaint about which we did not do. I know damn well this apartment complex makes way more money than they need to but still have the balls to take money out of our pockets just to make business with other towing companies while making some money on the side. Wonderful living area, but there has been a high amount of crime in the area recently (five car break ins within one month). I have seen little action from the people in charge or concern. All we get is letters saying our safety is our own responsibility. Our apartment was broken into in Dec and my wife’s car window was smashed in last week. She had nothing in her car to attract attention. I would like to see action on the communities side, like hiring a beat cop, extra lights, cameras etc. Until then I do not recommend anyone living here due to safety concerns, and lack of action on their side. Prove me wrong North Post Oak, and step up. Until that happens we will be moving as soon as our lease is up. Thank you.Sincerely,a concerned resident

This property does not pay their invoices. I referred one of my clients to this property and they moved in August of last year and this property has yet to process my invoice. This is now going on 9 months. After countless follow ups, emails, phone calls, and resubmission of documents, I am discouraged that this property will remedy their debt. Its unfortunate; as Realtors we work hard to find our clients the perfect place to call home and work off of 100% commission. We all just want to be compensated for our efforts.

I tried to give it a month before I wrote my review. The place is beautiful, great location as well right next to the Walmart and Marquee! I was skeptical about this place because of the mix reviews and price but after moving in i feel I’m able to give my honest review. The office tells you one thing and does another and it’s most likely due to miscommunication. They promised an incentive of a 500 gift card if I signed and paid my deposit within 48hrs and I would receive my gift card within 2 weeks of move in... it’s been a month and still nothing. When I moved in the apartment there were beetles everywhere I had to pay an exterminator to spray and haven’t seen them since . But they were a nuance initially !I had an issue with the washer dryer and still continue to have the issue of my dryer not drying my clothes. I put in 3 request to get a new dryer and was told each time the problem was fixed the issue was I was over loading the stackable dryers , the heat setting wasn’t high enough or the vent needed to be cleaned - I then washed 5 artlcles of clothes to test it out and still nothing dried until I ran the cycle 3 times. (Which ran up my electric bill)So I gave up and now have to wash at the wash house .Lastly parking literally sucks ! If you don’t park your car by 5 pm then 9/10 you will have to park way across the lot unless you get a reserved spot. I don’t think it’s unreasonable for hardworking people to want to come home after a long days work and not have to hike a mile to their apartments.Since I’ve moved there has been 3 alerts for the neighborhood . Honestly I thought initially this would be my forever home until I was ready to settle down however I’m ready to break my lease and pay the fee to get out of it . This doesn’t feel like home for me at all. This is a contract and I’m glad I signed a 6 month lease instead of the 12.

My one star is not for the actual facility. The apartment complex itself is very nice and the amenities are enjoyable. Parking is an issue and there were several break-ins during my time there, but that is a risk you take anywhere in Houston. My one star is for the management team and my experience after I moved out. In the 2 years that I lived there, majority of the management team was very nice, with the exception of one of the male leasing agents who sits on the left side as soon as you enter. After I moved out, I called NPO on three separate occasions to ensure that I did not owe any further amounts . Two out of the three times that I called, I was told that if there were any further payments, that NPO would send a letter to the address I provided at the time of my move out. One of the times I called, I had one of the employees tell me I did not owe anything. I have never received a letter from NPO and to my surprise 5 months after my move out, I get a call from a collections agency stating that my account had been turned over to them from NPO.After a week and a half of conversations with NPO and South Hampton, the issue has yet to be resolved.I would not recommend moving here unless you want headache after headache after headache.

I do not live here. I live about 2 miles away in a old motel that gives me a weekly rental discount. But I drive past The North Post Oak Lofts nearly every day on my way to work, thinking to myself, how lucky those folks are to have a stable lifestyle, and all those amenities, and be 2 miles closer to my job. My motel bill is due today at 11 a.m. and I either pay it or I am living in my car. But it is $ 295. That is a whole lot of money being thrown away. Right ?? Well, I do have better security of parking probably, and I do have plenty of room for guest and can easily rent them a room if I want. I also have a wonderful walk-in shower, but low-water pressure. I do get a free bagel, and waffle and juice every morning, and I do have excellent maid service every single day. But I never socialize with my neighbors or try to help them, and vice versa, and most of them seem even scarier that I probably am. I will tell you it is uneasy feeling on the the day of paying the bill, but after that I feel almost like I am on vacation. I can not really go around bragging that I live in a cheap old motel. But if I lived in The North Post Oak Lofts, I could. I have no idea where I am living in 2 weeks, especially 3 weeks. But there is some joy in being free like a gypsy or a seagull. I think the thing that scares me away from apartments are the fees up front ( deposits ), but more than that it is the hidden fees like clean-up fees afterwards. In summary, if I win $ 20,000 on a scratch-off ticket, I will be moving in to The North Post Oak Lofts.

Don’t move here. Parking is a nightmare for residents you have to park a mile away from your apt. Guest can’t park anywhere on property but in a alley on side of the complex. The property is very dark at night, especially by the back gate area. Random people climb under the gate to get onto the property. Crime on the property has reached a all time high car break ins, a resident purse got snatched at 9pm one night while on property. People tires are being stolen off their vehicle. We use to have a security service that would sit up in the booth at night to provide some type of security, but since the new management owners came they don’t have security anymore. But they switched to a courtesy officer that comes in drives around and leave. Office staff gives that they don’t care attitude unfriendly and very unprofessional. Put in maintenance request they finally show up two months later maybe a month later if you’re lucky. If you’re looking for a property that has residents events this is the one for you because they don’t have any. Please STAY AWAY from this. The Apartment is nicely suited and the amenities are good . Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the Management team.On my very first visit to this place itself the lady with the name Olivia gave me an indication that she is into money hoarding. This is however not the crux of the issue. On our move out, we had called for a carpet cleaning company and paid 800 Dollars for the clean up. After moving out of the facility, we received a letter sating the we owe 725 dollars broken down as below1. Clean fee oven/stove - 252. Carpet replacement Depriciation cost- 1157.413. Pet Treatment - 160.004. Damages MCR wave DR - 143.665. PAINT - 25.006. Final Water - 20.84Summing up to a total of 1574.56This directly consumed our Security deposit of 600 & Pet Deposit of 250 [ recoverable ] , 250 non recoverable is already in the pocket when receiving the keys for the house.Leaving us with 724.56 Dollars to pay , almost all of which is for the Carpet Depreciation Cost.Seriously are you kidding me , I have already paid 800 for cleaning the carpet on my own and you are asking for money on carpet replacement depreciation cost - First off that is your Asset, the rental payment is accounted in for your depreciation and in no way is a rental supposed to pay for the owners depreciation on ITS asset.Never mind all this, if the legality goes above your head. I have paid the pet rental fee of 20 Dollars and the other rental as required and lived at several places in Houston. I have never come across such money hoarding tactics and btw , I am not the first to report this. Apparently it is the Norm. They do that to everyone. If you ask for an invoice on the replacement, they will gladly send you one and will also tell you to pay up or they threaten to go to the collection.Fantastic - you can have the money, but i am sure everyone is going to make these money hoarding tactics public and soon you will have no one to occupy.Yeah sending your check soon - but will ensure everyone knows this , marketing by the best means possible - word of mouth.Cheers

THE WORST PLACE TO APPLY FOR AN APARTMENT. THIS PLACE PUT ME THROUGH THE WORST APPLICATION EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFEI applied to this apartment 2x the first time my co applicant didn’t get approved but I did so instead of telling me that the apartment was no longer available the leasing agent told me to just get the paperwork need to fix the application. Got the paperwork, he says the apartment isn’t available. I say well I was approved, his words ( well you’d have to do a separate application on your own) and pay 375 all over again. Mind you they don’t refund you when they cancel your application.I apply again, this time for some odd reason the paystubs weren’t enough. I provided pay stubs, bank statements and a offer letter from my job. He tells me they need proof of employment. Idk what language he reads but I’m sure a paystub from your job is proof of employment. But ok, he asks to send the email to the employer, the employer completes it and sends it back. Again it’s not enough. The employer sends a written note proving employment. The property manager says it’s not enough cause he didn’t add a header or company logo and (it could’ve been anyone ) mind you the employer provided his email from the company and it’s the same email used when she sent him the verification form. I tell her to call him she says she doesn’t know if it’s a personal or fake number so no. What sense does that make. This place wastes your time and for the 2 stars they get it’s not worth it. Lower cost rent makes sense for their low quality service, old gym equipment and old aesthetics.

Second, I called to confirm a package because I hadnt received it in the mail but Amazon said it arrived. When I asked if he would check, he said he was too busy to get up and check. Thats fine, but instead of trying to offer another solution and I reminded him about my prior bad experience, he hung up the phone again. BEWARE of ANTHONY at North Post Oak Lofts!!! HE IS HORRIBLE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE!!I have lived here for over 3 years and never been treated so terribly.

Resident parking and management has improved. I rated NPO Lofts 1 star but I’ll move up my rating for the improvements made. Nice apartments with a nice pool.

It’s a shame, this is a really nice complex with very nice floor plans but they have let some really sketchy people move in here. I’ve only lived here since May and at least 10 times I’ve heard gunshots right outside my window/in the parking lot. I’ve seen a guy beat up his girlfriend in the pool and watched a guy walk inside the complex with a gun in his belt in the middle of the day. Nice place but super sketchy.

The leasing agent yessenia is super rude and not very helpful. To be in a customer service field she really lacks any skills. Due to her smart nasty mouth I’ll be looking else where for an apartment.

I lived in these apartments for a few years. They are in a deceptively great area. Nestled away next to a private school and next to a Wal-Mart.Quiet, convenient location and great staff. I highly recommend, especially if you work in the galleria area, downtown or in the Energy Corridor.

The others reviews about Anthony are correct. Management please let this guy go, youre losing a lot of money because of him.I asked him if there is more to the gym than I can see in the pictures 4 times and he said the pictures are on the internet and I continued explaining the picture doesnt show it then he hung up on me after yelling he has other things to do.

Towed my car in my reserved parking spot only to be towed the next day. Moving out of this place asap. I wouldnt recommend anyone to move in here unless you want your car to be towed that was in your reserved parking. Probably one of the worst management Ive ever had.

Not willing to work with you. Slow to respond or no response. Lived here for over a year and had multiple incidents (car break in, unethical towing against a signed contract, cars that should not be parked in correct locations, etc) that were left unresolved and excuses given to us. Terribly disappointed.

I give these guys 1 star because I have called and called and called..and no one answers the phone....I choose not to lease here just because of that reason......If you cant reach someone by phone....then it would be extremely frustrating to live there and not be able to get service
