Very friendly and professional!! The gentleman very carefully examined and sorted my different types of metals. Then carefully weighed each type and gave me the price per gram. He then calculated each type and added it all up right in front of me and explained my pricing. Very courteous gentleman.

I stopped by US Coins to have my Mom’s gold and diamond jewelry evaluated - not knowing what was real or what karat anything was. Troy helped me through the whole thing with assistance from Will, when needed. As Troy carefully evaluated each piece, he also gave me an education on the current market for diamonds - quite different from the traditional market since the onset of lab-grown diamonds. Additionally, he answered my questions about the value of coins and gave me a brief tutorial and cheat sheet to help my Dad as he painstakingly inspects his bins of coins.I worked with him for about an hour total and there was no pressure to sell anything, just his effort to make sure I knew what I had. He inspected then tested all of it to tell me how much they could offer for the legit stuff. The whole process was an invaluable service I never would’ve known about if I hadn’t been referred by the company who managed my parents move, Lone Star Transitions. As I was leaving after the above visit, I unknowingly dropped a 24KT gold bar pendant worth $335 on the floor. Troy tried to catch me in the parking lot to no avail. I didnt have an account with them and they didnt have my phone #, but knew I was going to leave a review so knew they could communicate with me in a review response. Very resourceful, but I still may not ever have known if Google hadnt sent me an email that they had responded to my review. Im very happy with US Coins and Google! :)

Troy and Will were knowledgeable and professional. We brought coins that had been in the family for years. They explained what they were and how value is determined. We felt they gave us a very good price.

We felt safe, and the store has good security. Unfortunately the buyer (Will Brooks) was a fast talker, and didnt explain in detail why we were being paid what we were being paid for our coins. They took a real high commission, and we think, underpaid us for what the price of gold and silver were that day.We will be selling more coins soon, but will not be returning to this store.

Great place to do business with. This was my first time to bring some items for appraisal and from the first moment of walking in to be greeted by a police officer, until being walked to my car, I felt very safe. The staff was so courteous while I waited, making sure you were helped in the order in which you arrived as the place can get busy. I would recommend making an appointment if possible but even without one the wait was acceptable. The gentleman handling my items kept up a conversation as we discussed each item and answered some follow up questions about future business easily. I will go back and will recommend them to friends and neighbors!

I am giving them a 1 star because although they are not truthful, they’re still nice. I was trying to sell my engagement ring and took the ring to one place, but they didn’t take yellow diamonds. The initial place I took it told me that the ring was 18 karat gold - this I knew. My issue was I could not find the original appraisal, but I knew my insurance company insured the ring for $16,500 I had called the night before. So I take my ring to US coins and jewelry. They told me my ring was worth $700 and the yellow diamond had a bunch of black.. They also tell me the total weight is 2.37 ct, I found some paperwork that stated it was 4.87. I could not find the appraisal for the engagement ring but found it for the wedding band which is the same band on the ring. The appraisal said $5250 appraised 10/17/13 and confirmed it was 18 karat gold. How is the band appraised at so much. The same jeweler made both the ring in the band to be replicas of each other, except for one has an almost 3 carat, yellow diamond and additional diamonds to support the outer edges of the ring. My guess is either they thought my ring was stollen or that I was desperate. Not desperate at all and I don’t steal because it is wrong and I am also a fraud examiner, stealing I could loose my license. I was selling the ring because I am now divorce and wanted to pay for cosmetic surgery - lol. I still can’t find the actual appraisal but will be dropping it off on Monday. Update to come!I don’t have to get an appraisal as the original jewelry has it on file. When I told them about the $700. They laughed and said that should be a crime. Without going into detail the appraisal information and value was completely wrong…

Was offered literal face value for my 1914 federal reserve note thats in fair condition. That is absolutely absurd and unprofessional to try and scam someone that has spent 1500 dollars at your store. I will be taking my business and anything I want to sell to a small business.

The worst experience EVER! First off, they do not have enough staff for the volume of customers that are in the line needing to be seen with their coins and jewelry. This place shouldnt be called U.S coin and jewelry. It should be called U.S precious metals because they only accept silver and gold and also, memorabilia.I feel like there is no privacy and they discuss value and numbers right in front of other customers. Me and my parents brought in 20 coins and ultimately they wanted to rip us off after waiting in line for so long. I would not recommend this place at all.

Great Service! Came to sell an Oz of gold and was in and out within 10 minutes!

Lots of selection but premiums are way too high on American gold coins, most nationwide sellers are selling lower. Good for variety but be prepared to pay a way higher premium than premium market prices. Paid $85 over spot on 1/10 oz AGE, market premium is about $42, so premiums are almost double than market here.

Great place to sell old coins! We have been in many times, it always feels like a safe place to conduct business. They will ask if you are buying or selling, and assign a staffer to work with you. We have found Will to be super helpful and knowledgable, especially about Rolex watches. They will give you a quote if thats what you need, and buy your goods at a fair price if you decide to sell. I have also seen them deal kindly and fair with young coin collectors, encouraging them and their hobby. Highly recommended!

Incredible group of people! From the officer who meets you at the door (makes you feel safer, knowing that they take security serious) to the young lady who helps you find what you want or need. They answer every question you ask without any type of frustration and help you find the best way to manage what you are doing! (Seriously, I hope someone will give them a pizza party!). Bought a coin as a gift for a person who has everything. Decided to have it sent instead of standing in line. Unfortunately the software used to print the USPS label omitted my box number leading to temporary misplacement of the order. Luckily it was found in time to give. Next time probably just go stand in line. Was pleased that staff answered the phone quickly and tried to be helpful.
