Being in debt up to my eyeballs and watching my business crumble is not a fun thing, and neither is actually having to file bankruptcy. This is hopefully the first and last time I have to do this. Baker & Associates made the whole process extremely easy to navigate, and were very detailed in how they explained things to me. Alfredo and Nancy were great people to work with on this and were understanding and empathetic towards me and my financial situation. There never was feeling of being judged or looked down upon, and they made me feel very calm and relaxed in what could be a miserable state of existence. I never plan on having to do this again, but if I do, I will use Baker & Associates all over again.

I had a very complicated eviction tenant issue that was entailed with the person living in the house filing bankruptcy. It was going to be a long and dragged out legal issue but Mr Baker did a fantastic job and gave me the best advice and it worked and now I am finally able to access my rental property. I work at the few lawyers in the past but he was absolutely wonderful. His team was absolutely helpful as well. WOW the Team at Baker and Associates are awesome. Very professional, knowledgeable and responsive. My husband is a disabled Veteran and this firm handled our bankruptcy. There were minor procedural hick-ups in the way but these guys handled it like a champ. Definitely recommend it for all specially Veterans. Yessenia did our initial intake and she was very thorough, Ms Pagan was wonderful and Sonya Kapp was an excellent closer. Legal terms can make your head swim, and when you find yourself drowning in debt you dont need any more water. Baker & Associates (B&A) will review your situation, recommend the most helpful path forward, and interpret all the jargon. Your finances can be destroyed by circumstances that can put you beyond the help of debt relief agencies. The 4th month under a debt relief plan and I couldnt make the payment. B&A can help you reach the shore when your finances have been swept out to sea.

My husband and I visited Baker and Associates and were kinda excited, despite the circumstances we were in financially speaking, but they were very quick and professional in responding. However, once there an attorney came out and introduce himself and we went to his office to speak. Im a student studying law and he talk about where he graduated from and how there arent any jobs for attorneys because look where he wind up, then I told him I was interested in a career with the FBI or DEA, he then said it would be difficult for me to get on with them (because of the BK filing, and other factors), he continued his negative spill/attitude and kindly told us that filing bk was not the right thing for us to do, and we should call our renters and kick them out and move into that house and sell our present home. I ask him is he aware people arent buying homes, they are losing them...anyway, I got one of the worst feelings Ive ever had and me and my husband left, and we located an attorney with a much better attitude and was able to guide us through what we needed to do....that was 6 months ago. Things arent the best, but our renters are still in our home with there three children paying 1300.00 in rent to us, we are still in our home, paying back what we were behind in mortgage payments, and I would not just look at the fancy office anymore(woodlands location) when looking for an attorney, Ill assume his negativity is a result of his failures in life and I would never recommend THAT particular attorney because Im sure he did not reflect the attitudes of all of them.

This firm is unreliable. I contacted them and made them aware of time sensitive situations. Reese Baker assured me that someone would contact me the next day. No one contacted me. I called regularly for two weeks, finally someone said “we don’t know if we’re taking your case. We need to ask Mr. Baker and he’s out of the Country”. I was so disappointed because I was assured by Mr. Baker that my case would be handled immediately. When someone finally did reach out to me she kept asking me for information that I previoysly provided. I lost complete confidence in this firm and asked for my retainer back within two days of paying it. Nothing had been completed on my case and Mr. Reese is refusing to return my retainer. Stay away from this firm!

Our experience with this law firm has been outstanding. We came to them in August of 2009. We didn’t know what else to do. They were patient and understanding. By December of 2009 they took care of our BK. As of right now they have gone through more hoops than ever. They are assisting us to get our home back that we thought we lost. We are currently doing a loan modification. I can not truly express my overall happiness with this firm. They have always returned our messages and have been there for us. The entire staff is extremely empathetic.

Horrible! Never return phone calls or emails. Dropped the ball on our case and caused us to loose out on money that could have possibly paid off our bankruptcy. Because of their lack of communication and inability to respond to messages and emails, we are close to loosing the insurance money sent to us to repair roof and water damage for our home. I paid this firm over $1,500 back in 2017 to sue my former contractor who owes me over $22k. Nothing has been done so far. It takes them months to respond to my emails. I would NOT recommend them at all. What a waste of time and money.

Please find another Law firm to work for u....After I had to dismissed my case..3 Other Lawyers. told me that I shouldnt have never had Baker and Associates law firm work for me..What I know now I wouldnt gave them a second look...They have put me in the poor house over a car...If I had all this money I would have paid my car off...They give u about 5 or 6 other people working on your case...Now Im trying to pay them only...I had a list of things on my chapter 13...I see they only had 2 crediter on there....And all these fees I have to pay the firm..I was only working a job making 8.50 an hours and they was taking most of my little pay check...Mr. Reese told me they cant lower my payments...So I had to cancel everything. My Health Insurance, my storage where I lost everything I owned, And now the car....I spelled everything out please dont go this rought if u dont have to....And if u do Make them give u all your copys of your Bankruptcy...If u dont ask u wont get a copy....And they still trying to get another 1,400 out of me....Just 💰 hungry....its sad😭....That is my bad experience with them. Now I have to start all over again....I am relieved I dont have to work with them any more....
