Long time coming for me to write a review.... Life gets busy.We used Mark and Lisa at Davis Commercial for finding a retail space for me. They listened to our wants and needs. They found us exactly what we wanted in a very short period of time. Walked us through the lease negotiations. From start to finish this firm was 5 Stars all they way. Lisa in particular was fantastic. She was the agent. Mark is the owner of the company. I appreciated him voicing and helping also. I would highly recommend this Real Estate Company to everyone!

I live in one of their properties. Worst $2400/mo I have ever spent. Trust me folks, If I were not trapped in a lease I would run from these people like the plague. I have called the management at my current residence 2x about the horrible parking situation. I even offered to give them suggestions about how other complexes are handling the issue. No one returns my call. There are several management companies in Houston. You can do much better than these clowns!

We met Mark Davis in 2014. He was recommended by a close friend. Mark and his employees always kept in touch without any pressure or hard sell. Our concerns were always his concerns and Davis commercial really kept up with heir promise. We finally used their services selling several of our properties in 2019. Far Exceeded Expectations. I recently used Davis Commercial (Barrett Von Blon) to sell a Commercial Lot (tear-down) in town. I had spoken with Mark and his team over the years as we contemplated listing, I see their signs prominently around town for this size/type commercial property. We finally met, discussed values, timeline, expectations, etc. Valuations were higher than I expected. We listed and within 2-3 weeks we had multiple cash offers very close to the listing price. We had to make a couple of tough decisions during negotiations and I feel like Davis added value and always represented my interests. Barrett managed all of the paperwork. I know it doesnt always work out this easy, but I received the best care and attention that I could have asked for. No question, I will use Davis Commercial for my next local commercial transaction - buy or sell.

It was a real pleasure working with Ryan Neyland at Davis Commercial Real Estate. He was always very responsive during the sale as well as the closing. A real professional and very savvy. His expertise resulted in us selling our property at full asking price. I would highly recommend Ryan if you are selling your property.

I do have positive comments about Cotton’s performance. He was very responsive to emails, and if he didn’t know the answer to a question he would usually say so and then seek out someone who did know. He also followed our very specific criteria for properties that we were interested in, and was able to find 5 properties that met those criteria. He did so in a timely fashion. And, he seems like a nice guy with a pleasant personality. However, my big negative comment, is that misinformation regarding the requirement for a survey cost us both time and money, and would have cost us even more time and money had I not discovered that the information that he was telling us was incorrect. In the end, it cost us about $4,500 and 2 weeks, but had I not figured out that a survey was not in fact required since we were not using a lender, it easily could have cost us $13,000 and 4 weeks ($9000 for rent and $4000 for unneeded survey). To be completely fair to Cotton, the fact that he told us that a survey was required may not have been his fault, or may have only been partially his fault. Part (or all) of the problem could have been the Title Company. But, after having had multiple conversations with Cotton in which he stated that the survey was truly necessary, all it took was one phone call to the Title Company for me to figure out that the survey was not required. So, while I may misunderstand the role that the broker is supposed to serve in this type of transaction, I felt let down and misguided by Cotton regarding the survey requirement.So, there it is. Sorry to be so blunt, but as this is your third request for a review, I felt that ignoring your requests was no longer going to work. Overall, if/when we decide to purchase a property again, I would feel comfortable using your company again (if you’d accept us after this email), but I’d be lying if a said that I wasn’t left with a bit of disappointment in your services.

We have used Ashley Casterlin for many years now. She has been a huge asset on us locating and negotiating sites for several locations. I have called Davis about a couple of properties, and as polite as I have tried to be, he is just incredibly condescending. I just got off the phone with him after he asked if I could afford the property. After responding that I could he asked me again, are you sure you can afford this property? I assure you Mark, we can, but its just not worth it to work with these guys. No wonder these properties sit for months or years. Just bad business
