Ashford Santa Fe Apartments

Worst place that Ive ever lived. Washers and dryers are constantly broken and dont completely dry clothes when they are working. The apartment has flooded twice, once with backflow coming up through the kitchen sink and again through the bathroom sink. Repair done to the wall to fix the plumbing is awful. I came back to someone parked in my spot and brought it up with management, who told me that I was never registered in that spot despite paying for a sticker and signing up for it. There are no outlets in the bathroom, which are required by code. The apartment is infested with cockroaches, and when the pest control came by, nothing changed except they left a single sticky trap underneath the kitchen sink. The gate to get into the apartments was ripped off its hinges. It feels much safer outside the apartments than in them.Edit: I was moving out and needed a payment history for the new place. They would not answer phone calls or emails and when I went in person they just told me to email or call them, which of course they still didnt even reply to. They tried to charge me a full month of rent and short term lease fees for my last few days, when it should have been less than $200, they charged $1400. I have attempted to call all 3 of the numbers they gave me 15 times and only got answered once. I went in person and they told me they would fix my bill within a day or two, which they didnt. So i had to try and call them again... they finally fixed it after I got lucky and they answered an email.Upon moving out they told me they would be open til 5, when I went to turn in the keys at 4:30, the office was empty. Completely unprofessional and inexcusable. I would suggest that if you decide to move in for some reason, try to give them a call first before applying online.

You get all kinda of crazy weird fees on your billing, they also try to sneak a little month to month billing fee charge when your still locked into a lease , Kids are messy leave trash all over everywhere, they play wall ball and soccer on the third and second floor walk ways hitting apartment windows. Like WHY not play on the ground annoying , especially if you work night shift or have pets, u can forget getting any type of sleep . there are literally people here that have entire interior living room set ups outside in public areas and walkways looks super trashy. The front desk in UNRESPONSIVE when you email them or call them on concerns or notify them of important things , complete waste of time. PARKING SITUATION SUCKS Gun shots all the time, lots of drugs go through this apartment. The only good thing about this apartment is the maintenance staff the two guys that come fix your stuff. they deserve a raise. but unfortunately not a good enough reason to live here

I visited yesterday Ashford Santa Fe apartments for a tour really nice ,and Anallesy was very helpful, she showed me around ensuring we saw and learned everything we wanted.The units are very beautiful, spacious rooms and clean conditions. The environment is quiet .

This is a complaint about the people who smoke indoors! I can’t stand the smell all over my apartment my room my living room the smell is so strong they smoke day and nite indoors it needs to stop! 🛑 I really want to tell Ashford Santa Fe to do something is not pleasant to come and have to smell all sorts when you don’t even smoke is horrible please do something about this situation I already filed a complain through the website the stench is si terrible day and nite don’t you have that in the contract do not smoke indoors!!??

Lets start that the place may look nice but once you move in is when the problems start the ac is always messing up for no reason it starts smelling like burnt they take there precious time to fix what you report they never do pest control if you pay for a reserve parking they dont put reserve on it they dont have 24 hr maintenance like they say roach n flea infestation people dont pick up after there dogs mess i used to see when my family member was always frustrated cause the maintenance guy is a little rude n doesnt do hes job right if you complain about the neighbors it looks like they dont do anything about it the tow trucks take your car even if is registered and the tow truck damages your car n they say they didnt even if you have it on video they still take your car if they want to is not right but they dont care I knew another family that live there saying that the bills kept getting higher n higher for no reason n it happen to my family member as well so my family doesnt recommend this place at all point blank period the lady in the office is nice but there always out the office or never pick up there phones

Great place to live , quiet and safe. Being the best living experience Ive had workers are always on to their work . Everyone thinks about others and great community.

Worst living experience I’ve ever had. My unit would flood with other people’s water leaving my house smelling like a water treatment plant and it took them months to fix the issue. Disrespectful kids always running around knocking on doors and shooting windows with pellets, graffiti in the common areas, trash everywhere. If you can find somewhere else to live please save yourself the headache

Apartments are terrible They literally raise your rent to whatever they want too and add fees Don’t Move here !!!!!! Warning ‼️ Terrible place to live. They don’t answer anybody phone calls roach invested. They don’t care about anybody They Just want to take your money !!!!! The management does not care if there are extremely loud people in apartments. Im considering breaking my lease beacau its so bad. People blasting music from 1130pm to 630 am with no consequences for a month. I would recommend against it if you like sleep.

This is the worst apartment I have ever stayed in. My in-unit washer and dryer never worked, despite multiple complaints to management. I also faced a serious roach infestation, and when I requested pest control, they barely sprayed anything and leave soon after. The AC would constantly go out on very hot days without warning and stay off for days at a time. The apartments are dingy and dirty in general, and not worth the prices they are listed for. The property is a mess, with trash everywhere. People would leave bags of trash outside their doors for days, creating an unsanitary and unpleasant living environment. Due to these issues, I will not be renewing my lease. I strongly advise against staying here, especially if you have a family. Only consider this place if you have absolutely no other options.

Upon visiting Santa Fe, I was greeted by Ritza. She was polite, professional and friendly. The staff is great and they made me feel very welcome. My family member has lived there for now 2 years. Its safe and clean. I would definitely would recommend.

Michelle is the nicest front office lady there! I have had a good experience staying here!

If i could i would give this property zero stars i would ! Units have a lot of problems , leasing agents don’t want to work or help you with any questions or concerns , roach problems , parking issues , trash everywhere etc .They dont care about residents or their feedback !

They spray painted over our mold . Charge for pest control but there’s still a roach problem . Cars being broken into at night . Washers / dryers don’t work properly. Not worth the money and rent increase . Lived here 3 years and the neighbors have only gotten worse .

My ederly parent lives here. They constantly have AC issues. Her apartment is over 90 degrees and they have not fixed it. Maintenance staff lives here but they are not dependable. This is a serious health concern!

Love the property and the experience Ive had so far. The staff in the leasing office are so welcoming and always have smile. Ms.Lidney is super friendly and takes your problems to the heart. Shell do her best to help you solve the issue. Maintenance is also really good and friendly. Mr.Juan goes out of his way to make sure any issue is solved.

I have been on the look out for an apartment for quite some time now. I swung by at Ashford Santa Fe and was assisted by Lidney! Man, I gotta tell you! Not only was she knowledgeable but she was incredibly friendly and thorough with pretty much every single question I had. Definitely a great customer service and welcome like atmosphere. If you are looking to lease an apartment and have questions you need assistance with Lidney is definitely the person you need to go to! Great experience!

I have been living here for about a month now and everything has been good. It’s quite and neighbors are quite. The move here was easy and fast, they even accommodate if you are having to work over the time they are open. I would 10 out of 10 recommend. The only issue I have is the renovating upstairs it can be a bit noisy. Other than that everything is perfect. I even was given a birthday treat exciting!!!

The staff is very efficient and helpful when it’s comes to the up keeping of the apartment complex and the overall community. Yessenia one of the many staff members I’ve met and she has been very assisting and tries her best to work with you.

Place very safe and quiet to live. Ritza and Anallesy are very professional and kind, they will always welcome you with a smile, Juan also is very professional and will help you always. I highly recommend.

I love this property. The girls at the office are so nice and help full. Maintenance is incredibly Mr. Juan has been helping us for many years and always find a solution to any problems we may have. I highly recommend this apartments!

If you want to save money, its cheap. There is too much flooding going on- the parking lot can turn into a pond at a moments notice. , My apartment flooded- I was really disappointed when I tried to speak to someone about it, I was totally, totally ignored- not one word. Ruined all my rugs-vacuum cleaner. There is always drainage back up going on.- either in the sink, tub, the wash room of my apartment. The drainage system is old, so there is always a back up problem going on. Ongoing problem with the roaches- one can never get rid of them. They walk around like they are paying the rent. Happily, I do not have to be there, 1 year was all I could possibly stand. I gave proper notice about moving- management asked what they could do to get me to stay. I know they were just going through the motions on that. I totally ignored the question. They know that place is raggedy. The second positive thing I can say (aside from the rent being cheap) is the Maintenance man Juan. He was always nice and was quick to try and fix what needed to be fixed.

I have lived here for a year and a half, and I really like it here. The people here are very friendly and often are very helpful. They have fun activities for the kids, and stuff for the community too, like sometimes they have lunch, or breakfast for everyone. The only problem that I do have is the laundry room is not sufficient. Often the machines are broken (currently all of the washers are broke), and even when they do work there are only 6 washers and 6 dryers. 95% of the time (when working) the machines are in use so that I cant get my laundry done, unless I wait till 2 or 3 in the morning to do it. But other then that, this is a nice place to live.Update 9/29/21We now have new machines in the laundry room, and they are great!!! Lots of improvements being made thank you! :)

The team there are very friendly and helpful as I’m looking for a apt, that fact that Yessenia went up and beyond to meet my expectations was amazing. The apts are clean, they look great and its quite. What im looking for. Right now im considering on starting a new lease thanks to the staff and Yessenia.

After searching for an apartment that was close to my work, I found Santa Fe apartments on W Bellfort. It is so close to 610 and only 10 min to Galleria. The amenities are just right and the complex is very quiet at night. I have only been here for a month, but I love it so far. I am happy I chose to live here at Santa Fe. Please add this one to your short list. You wont be disappointed. The property managers are very helpful in addressing all your needs as well.

I love this place. Place I been in different apartments and honestly this is better by far I cam say feel like home. The girls at the office they are great I’m very happy I found this place because I don’t have to deal with apartments stress no more they fix things and care of you pretty quick I highly recommend their place 🙂

They need zero stars this place is horrible and not worth what the charging people... They have a bad mold problem...water always cold cant take kids a bath they front doors not leveled you can sit on your couch and watch big roaches come in .. they dont care about there residences .. all they car about is money trash always everywhere no pool are anything the lil park always closed Im going to the state on them because this just not acceptable then they dont want to put you in another apartment because of the mold problem that they have .. so ready my people least to be up because they are moving

Walls are too thin neighbors above me stomp jump run all day and night filed a complaint with the office.Nothing changed... Put in a request for a washer and dryer in my unit a month ago still waiting .They honestly dont value all their tenants. Dnt waste your time and money Im sure if youre looking for a place to stay you can find somewhere much better than these Apartments!!!!! Also units are infested with ants

I have a relative living there now. There are many maintenance issues. At the beginning everything is perfect but then the irregularities begin. The prices are expensive. I do not recommend to anybody. I was very disappointed because I thought it was a better place

These apartments use to great for my family.now since there are under a new manager things are not the same. Now its hard to pay the rent . You have to have the exact amount but the the problem is they never give me my rent amount until its already late some of the tentant get theirs in the mail on the 1st but I received mine on the 13 every month with an eviction notice. I feel like me and my family are being targeted. On top of that I pay the rent every time I receive the payment amount late even late fees

The office staff is very nice and professional! Br sure to ask for Mendra, she is very friendly and is always happy to help! Maintenance is pretty quick and they keep the property clean.

The property is quiet and apartments are spacious. Yessenia, the property manager was wonderful when I visited the office, she made sure my needs were taken care of.

I have been here for 5yrs. in the 5 yrs. I have seen residents and font office leave.it broke my heart when I of people left, I enjoy where I live. the rent could be better or cheaper, but I understand where the management is coming from. I remember the pool that was here. now its no longer here. it did hurt or discouraged me even though I didnt get into the pool. that was the fun for the children. Can the management think of some fun idea for the kids and teens to do during the summer months and the going back to school. Also about the maintaince is great. Can their become a different color for the apts complex the management put the light green for the complex. last but not least, the security was a problem back in 2015, now there is no guard. The gates are not a problem but its great. The last thing is the landscape is okay but the owner done one side of the property. Can they put grass and landscape on both sides to make the whole property look nice. Crime is everywhere but since I have been here I had no problems with anyone. the office people are great there is no problems with me.

The staff is so nice and professional, I have no complaints. Every time I go into the office everyone says hi and remembers my name. The maintenance team always shows up, it’s not a hassle to have them take care of what’s needed.

Beautiful property Yessenia in the office is the BEST! She answered all my questions, made the apartment search process very easy for me. She is the main reason the property stood out to me.

My mom just moved in Sante Fe apartments and I give them a 5 star due to their professional and courteous staff. She has had no problems with maintenance and they are always so welcom ik ng when we enter the office or need anything fixed in the apartment. I would encourage people to come and move into this nice community.

Daisy is amazing. She is friendly, efficient and very sincere at work. I have always received good response from her Everytime I had an issue to be resolved. She would make sure that my problem was solved right away.

Let me tell you the managers ( Luisa Reyes, Yessenia Aguila) here at ashford Santa fe are amazing. They throw amazing holiday parties for the residents. Even at a party they ask if my apartment is doing ok. Great customer service

Management needs to followup on Smoke/Weed/Vaping issues.Some tenants are smoking and passive smoking is very injurious to health for other apartment residents. Hope they reach to the violaters and help other residents. I have contacted the office emailed them through resident app portal but the concerns are still there.

These apartments was fine when Ms Daisey was working hard but once she left everything went downhill. Luis Reyes is the apartment manager at this location. Shes rude harrassed you even if u pay your rent nice area but dont move here at this time

Recently moved in everything is currently working and the leasing office is very nice as well Lidney and Yesenia have done such a great job and have currently referred my friends here because these are by fast the best apartments Ive lived at.

Been living at this place for two years and as a resident with a decalp on my car my car has been towed at least 4 times and the office does nothing about it. They told me I could park in front of the office after hours and I did and got towed. The towing there is an inside job. I definitely will not be renewing my lease Ive had it with the parking there. Your resident should be first and foremost not the visitors. Previously when I first moved there I spoke with management about a refrigerator and it took them after two years to give me a new frige. I loved it caused its near my job after having these bad experiences as a resident I feel like I should take my business else where where the residents are first and treated with respect.

Pretty nice for my first apartment. Quiet at night which is great after a long day. Very nice people the office, they have been helpful with assisting me and my roommate.

This is a good place to live. Its close to the medical Center and the schools . My kids love it here. I recommend this apartments to anyone who is looking for a quite clean and safe place . And the office staff Are very professional.

I do recommend this apts the staff is very friendly, they always are trying to help on what they can. Is in a very good location the schools are very close that was my main reason for choosing this apts. We also have a security for the save of our familys am very comfortable here.

Solid apartments with optimal appliances. Lidney and the rest of the Management team were always helpful and willing to find solutions to any questions I had.

Lived here for one year also, horrible apartment complex, very ghetto, poor staff that doesnt speak english so good luck trying to tell the repair guy what needs to be fixed. big roach problem had them come spray 3 or 4 times and they are still in the apartment i had them stop spraying because i didnt want the chemicals all over my apartment as well. ten million kids play outside the neighborhood is very noisy, they have had probably 5 property managers in one years time they do not keep up with paperwork make sure you keep copy of rent reciept or else you will get a late notice saying you havent paid rent, ive even had on manager come to my door and try and kick me out until i showed a copy of my payment, there are still no locks on the gate / poor security, I have had a bicycle stolen off of my porch even when it was chained up if you get off work late there is no parking.. i have had my car towed maybe 3 times ive had friends cars towed even more and the list goes on and on i suggest you find somewhere else to live this place is not worth it.. on top of that just to sign a new lease my rent went up 100$ every month no thanks ill LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although Yessica has been by herself this past month the property has been running smoothly and I absolutely love living here. I personally recommend these apartments to anyone who is looking for a quite place to live

I’m sad to say I’m no longer a resident there.I love the community I was apart of for 17 years.Management is horrible, Rude, and inconsistent.No sense of community especially in this pandemic.They will throw you out like yesterday trash.People move in and out no community just a place to live for the moment. Truly sad it’s all about there money.

The apartments arent bad, its just these punk ass kids wth no manners and parents who dnt care! They allow them to climb all over the apartments, run around and screaming by windows and doors, climb on ppls cars and throw rocks at them! They play music at odd hrs and run arnd after 1am! We have security guards but all they do is sit in the parking lot! Its an annoying complex!!

Worst service. Luisa doesnt give you all the details needed to get into the active building app. She doesnt answer the phone. She leaves you on hold forever. Do yall want me to make a payment or not? Ridiculous.

Blanca and Daisy helped me out so much during my transition from one state to another. Im glad I had these two dynamic duo do everything in their power to move in and get me settled in.

I have been living at Santa Fe for 8 years and i must say the staff they currently have has been one of the best...i love how nice and friendly the office people are. Keep up the great Work!

Poor quality apartments, even with the new upgrades you can tell immediately the poor quality of workmanship and materials used, health issues from what I found out later was black mold, property clearly reflects poor ownership and poor business choices. Security gates have been broken for about a year and have been open with no lock, police are a common site Im guessing from the high crime rate area. Bad neighborhood kids spewing constant profanity, fighting and destroying property all the time do not let your kids play with these hooligans. Music is constantly blaring from multiple residents high pitched screaming from a million kids running around playground and on-site YMCA who does not control kids or respect surrounding community. Swimming pool was destroyed 2013 and was covered up with picnic tables..... yay. The on-site laundry will cost you almost $6 dollars to wash and dry one load of laundry, a small load at that. Over all worst place I have lived in my life I highly recommend trying one of the other places in the surrounding area or down the street.. You pay for what you get do not let them fool you with free 2 months rent... They are giving these places away because nobody wants to live here unless you are faced with living on the streets I see no reason to even considering living here!

Ive been living here for 1 year and its to expensive for a low quality apartments and the security very weak doesnt take his job serious and the front gates are broken and the cable its too cheap for the price we pay for rent. Smh

No parking, extremely loud kids running every where, parking lot always flooding, thin walls. Other than that its a decent place to live.

HORRIBLE ALL THE WAY AROUND!!! PARKING WAS TERRIBLE, MY GUEST TRUCK GOT TOWED TWICE. ROACHES EVERYWHERE IN THE VENTS,..MANAGEMENT IS VERY RUDE AND YOU HAVE TO GO TO WALMART OR ONLINE TO PAY YOUR RENT,

Ashford Santa Fe is a very nice community but with miserable service and very rubbish maintenance that they should change.

Everything was very well arranged and Mayra was a very warm person.

I am a resident of Asfort Sant Fe. Since the new manager arrived there have been positive changes; Immediately responds to resident requests. On the other hand, the manager carries out activities for the community and attends to some needs of residents.

They are the worst apartments in all of Houston, the treatment is terrible, after you sign your contract, the hidden charges come, the manager of the apts. She has no humanity or compassion, she is only interested in your signature, they are only an appearance. You also have to pay $35 if you make a payment at the office. Thats not fair. Be careful.

The apartments are very nice and the security is very good. The manager Jeffry is very nice to people and all the employees show that they really care about the property. I love it!

I have lived here for two years, the laundry machines never work, there is no parking for visitors, you always have to look in front of a church, which there isnt either, and they cant park inside and they have never done anything to fix it for Christmas dates, its terrible because of course The residents visitors park inside and the residents cant find parking anymore. There is no tow truck service, so there are cars without stickers, which is why White took care of that. The new people who are in the office just want to fill the property, which in a month they put in. 10 residents, because they are not checking the backgrond, the new residents are young people, they have already begun to ruin the gates, they smoke marijuana outside the apartments and all that bad smell enters my window in my room. Before, it was more comfortable. Now I hope they change the new staff and Just leave it to Daisy, I have a question, if a person lived in the property for more than 15 years and requires a 3-bedroom apartment, is it true that that person has to pay a 500 dollar deposit and the apartment that is left has to have the paint intact? ?? Then for more, for more, for 15 years it is impossible. Isnt it more important that the person is well paid and that there are no problems?

I feel very happy to be in this Santa Fe property, the manager is very kind in her work and very attentive to us residents to resolve all our concerns.

I have been here in Ashford Santa Fe for 16 years and have never had any problems but during the time they sold the apartments and changed the wings, the management is a disaster. They come, good sevan, we would not want them to leave like Deysi, who always had that charisma, that energy, the friendliness with the residents, today the We miss us so much that I think we are thinking about moving and even more so now that they no longer want to do anything, they want you to do everything by phone until the contract application is completed and when you need them to fix your stove, your air, everything about maintenance, everything. They want it to be done by phone so because the managers are there and in the office so thats why we need Miss Deysi, of all those who have come to the property, no one like Miss Deysi, we need you to do something please and return Deysi, she is very kind to everyone He has no preference with anyone nor is he racist and he does everything with a lot of love. We are 5 apartments that we want to move and we have been living here in Ashford Santafe for many years, my whole family is here, please.

I have lived in the Santa Fe apartments for more than 8 years and I like the tranquility and the activities we have. I have not had problems that are not resolved in all the time I have lived here.

The worst apartments you can see in Houston charge very high rent And on top of that, cars are stolen every weekend and the catalysts are garbage apartments!!

I like living here, I have been there for many years. The manager Luisa is excellent and her secretary is excellent too. They are very friendly and treat you well.
