Serena Village 1 Apartments

Managers do nothing, it takes forever for things to be repaired by any means. When we moved in it smelt like strong pain and chemicals, they tried patching holes in the wall and didnt even finish the job. There is roaches that weve seen occasionally, as well as appliances not working throughout the time Ive been here. Theres beer bottles and cans as well as trash all over the property. I reported broken glass on 7/5/24 and a used condom on the ground, the next day both are still there and theres kids and peoples pets/service animals here. I also reported one of the neighbors harassing and stalking my partner and they didnt seem to care and then didnt even respond to some of those messages. They take care of the apartments near the office in the front and the further you go back, the worse they get.

Im only giving this place 4 stars because its not the neighborhood thats bad its the residents not having any respect to turn down their music and respect other neighbors living around them. When I first moved here I loved it and there was no issues. I had no roaches, no noise complaints, nothing. But for the past few months Ive been dealing with loud neighbors, roaches suddenly coming through small holes in my kitchen(which I treated the area to avoid this issue upon moving in), feces in the play area and all on the sidewalks so my kids cant enjoy this space, and the smell of animal urine throughout the building area I moved in to. This place was once my peace and quiet but now has become my nightmare and Im ready to move.

Now besides it being in the center of the hood , these apartments DONT have roaches , there very clean I’ve haven’t had a issue since ive lived here (8months) there very professional , anything I’ve needed fixed they make sure they take care of it. My car has NEVER been broken into nor my house, the maintenance or staff WONT randomly enter your home unless you’re there. It’s very nice place , outside may look ugly but inside is beautiful & spacious!

Yuliana Cruz was the true reason my husband and I decided to move into this wonderful and serene community.Thank you Yuliana for doing due diligence on helping us find our new home. She completed our application within hours and we were approved within days. We are so grateful and thankful for this opportunity of a lifetime

Shae is awesome she will lhelp you get the best price for what youre looking for. Move in was quick and smooth and the 2 bedroom has all ceramic tile makes for easy cleaning for me and my two kids.

I recieved an amazing welcome to Texas (Sacasm).I moved here believing this was a nice area and apartment complex. ROACHES. I came from the high desert in California, we dont have roaches; carpenter ants, but no roaches. Disgusting. When i moved in the dishwasher is old and smelly and doesnt work. Washer and dryer doesnt work. Shower knob flew off in my face. All subpar appliances and faucets. Then, my car was towed out of the gated lot with a complex sticker and handicap decal. All the spaces have markings, you dont know where to park. Ive been in Houston less than 2 weeks.

I was robbed at gunpoint while living here. PULLING UP COMING from Walmart at about 8pm at night. Robbed. Thankfully I have my life. I was unable to be let out of my lease , the next unit they gave me, had MICE!! There was about 3. Coming from different r places. I’ve never felt so unsafe in my life. I hated living here. About 400 plus dollars has been added on to my credit from staying about 3 days after I said I’d be leaving. You’d think they’d give some light weight being I was robbed? I stay the additional 4 months after being robbed scared for my life. Apartment also had mold. You can hear gunshots near the store next door. Horrible living conditions and very dirty. Greens point is unsafe. I wouldn’t move here. Pay for your security.

BLACK MOLD INFESTED.Only reason I got a 2 bedroom was for the washer and dryer. I have not had it for over a week. My laundry room was INFESTED with black mold because of a leak from the upstairs neighbor. They said they fixed it but only replaced a part of the washer??? Did nothing for all the black mold. I had to call and demand they come out and fix it right. They tore out everything in my laundry room and i have zero use of it, office refuses to give straight answers when it will be fixed and when maintenance will come out.They also refuse to make accommodations

Lived here for nearly 5 years! At first it was okay. Management changed about 3 times and so did the apartment name which is weird! Apartments are in a flood zone even though they told new neighbors below me it wasn’t! So if you move in on the first floor is was definitely flooded before by greens bayou! The water gates they have do not work! Your lights will go out randomly. Maintenance is a joke, you will have to call them back out for the exact same repairs! Even witnessed an maintenance man back up into a woman’s vehicle and drive off, after asking the head maintenance Carlos was she going to be notified he just laughed! They brought be a used stove and refrigerator from another unit that had roaches! The updates they did outside the apartments was just a coat of paint! My door had rust on them and the new paint ended up coming right off! Gutters still pour out water everywhere when it rains hard and the walkway will be covered with water quickly! They do have car vandalism especially around the holidays! 2 different murders as well, might be why they changed the name which was formerly Durham at city view! I would not recommend these apartments at all honestly!

DONT MOVE HERE. If I could give no stars I would. Most of the 5 star reviews are given because they “ask nicely” at move in. I’ve been met with issues since I moved in last month. From roaches, to loud neighbors every morning at 6am, to gun shots EVERY NIGHT, the gate is always open and ppl try to rush in that prolly DONT BELONG.! and construction on other units without notification of the noise. They are nice until you bring them a problem then they’re beyond rude. I’ve barely gotten a good nights sleep since I moved here. If ur moving from out of state, BEWARE because they won’t tell you any of this.Edit- I added about the gate not working and for them to be “so concerned “ when I called I was met with confusion n lies. I’ve called customer service and their corporate office more than 3 times. I keep being told “someone will get back to yu” NO ONE HAS.! Horrible community

Beware please stay away from this dump. They have roaches and live mice. The maintenance team will come spray and tell you it’s only gonna get worst. Well it did, roaches was crawling over my stove top. I moved in with dead roaches in the cracks & the appliances are outdated. The sockets are barely hanging on the wall. The shower has mold & the top ceiling in the bathroom is caving in. I had the worst experience in this place. The management is extremely terrible and needs improvement.

This place charges you 750$ per month and is honestly not worth it. My showering water was cold for roughly 2 months I would submit complaints so they could fix it, a guy came and looked around the water turned hot for a few minutes then it went back to cold. Changed a few things after we started our lease for instance there was no reserved parking, it was first come first served, now you have to pay extra for a reserved parking spot, if they were going to start charging for reserved parking that should have been included In the contract which it wasn’t. I try and keep my place as clean as possible an roaches come out from the other neighbors which is another inconvenience. Overall I do not recommend this complex its price is high for not good quality apartments.

Bad customer service. No issues with the old management and maintenance. Now when something needs fixing they take forever and they dont like for us to be bothering them to ask when they are going to do their job to fix something. I know there are washers and dryers in the apartment complex but 1st: I dont like washing in public laundrys and 2nd: thats why I pay my rent to have washer and dryer included in my apartment. Old management took care of things immediately in maintenance requests.

I really hope you guys dont go through what i went through while living here.if you are looking for a clean and safe space for your family this is not the place. first i want to start off by saying that the management in this place is horrible. Alexis and Aimee are the worst in trying to help you. i lived here for only 6 months. people do not respect your privacy. people dont take care of there animals or clean up after them. the reserve spots are not visible (after supposedly having them come and doing them again. above that we lived in this apartment and have had serious health problems in the photos below youll see a MOLE INFESTATION (I REPEAT MOLE INFESTATION. management tried to cover it up by allowing strangers to come in into our apartment ( to clean it ) with no notice while we were NOT HOME. people are so dirty here that place is filled with trash on all corners of the apartment complex. they dont replace carpets!! Im already talking to my lawyer about what steps to take.like I said i dont anyone to feel the way we felt while living here. please be sure before moving in.

Good Lord if I could give them negative 5 stars I would. If you are looking for overpriced, cold and impersonal staff based complex who have no regard for a small family with 2 children under 2 Health and Safety from Infestations of Roaches, Fly Swarms , and Mice! (Yes Mice 23 to be exact) sign up now!Numerous maintenance and infestation complaints were not taken seriously for months , then they moved us to another unit hoping that would change things. Yeah well at least there were no Mice in the second unit they moved us to. The Only thing that Complex was good for was Teaching a Newly Married couple that if they Can survive living At Serena Village, they will most likely survive anything.

Shadae is super sweet and informative, made home searching a breeze and was genuinely concerned with meeting our families home needs. 10/10 would recommend. Keep up the awesome work Shadae!

Property Management is unfair and unprofessionalAimee is one of the property manager (Serena Village Aprt Greens Rd) and has terrible customer service.I Hold Aimee responsible for all the wrong doing. Please people be aware when you call this office. These people only want money and dont care for the people that live here. Corporate has been called, this was supposed to be a gated community. our gate has not been fixedfor 2 weeks management says its not there job. They dont want to fix it and let other people park in our parking lots. Aimee has been very unhelpful and very rude!!

Shae was very helpful and knowledgeable in her role. Great customer service. Would recommend getting an apartment with her here its nice and quiet.

Literally... all was well until we began to have a major roach infestation a year after already living in these apartments.Its absolutely disgusting...they will play out like everything is going to be handled, and it does not.Appliances stopped working after a year of living here, Refrigerator and Microwave.

I love this place I have been living here 2 years already I have never had a problem staff is great and very nice. Also when you need something something fixed in your apartment they come and do it!

I went to the pool 3 time last week and it was closed and it was 5 pm the pool doesnt close that early?? And a guy went too fix my fridge and said it was good but the next day it broke 😐

I went there from Indianapolis Indiana to visit somebody that lived there it looks like a really nice place but look close enough its definitely got some issues. Would give it a 7 out of 10 Stars.

IM REAL HAPPY I MOVE TO THIS APARTMENTS. THEY ARE NICE. WHEN EVER SOME THING GETS MEST UP AT MY APARTMENT. THEY FIX IT REAL QUICK. THE MANAGER IS REAL NICE EVER BODY AT THE OFFICE IS REAL NICE AND WORKERS TOO. THE ONLY THING I DONT LIKE IS THE SECURITY THEY DONT TAKE CARE OR WACTH AROUND REAL GOOD..

The staff is great, and the manager is wonderful. I was very surprised by the high level of professionalism and respect that they have at Serena. So far, a great experience overall. 😀👍

During these Turbulent and Tough Economic times during this Pandemic-Covid 19 New Management made the Wise decision to raise Rent $85 or $60 when people are already struggling and dealing with Layoffs etc.. Logic and Common Sense is definitely missing with Current Manager.

I spoke to the office and to the water company because the amount of money they charge for water is exorbitant, almost $100, water that neither I nor the other person on the contract spent.And practically what they said is; That the bill depends on how much water all the tenants spend, is a total SCAM because at the time of signing the contract no one explained that to us.Because even the apartment looks like a studio with a tiny bathroom and many damages included that I hope the day I leave they wont charge me anything! Because according to what they came to fix and they didnt do anything.

Crimes and shootings between neighbors and people fighting, breaking windows and making disorderAnd the police have to come every weekend for some problem

Since I arrived, the girls in the office have been very kind to me since day 1, I always ask for maintanence, they come later and place the orders, they have never been bad for me, excellent service, I recommend them to live with Amiee, Frances and Yaitza, they have always been very Pay attention hello what I asked you
